I loved having Kate here at my house and would definitely recommend her to anyone who needs a pet sitter. She came for a visit the day before I left on my trip. We had a great visit and Kitty and I had a chance to get to know her. I could see that they bonded right away. While I was away, Kate send pictures and even a video of Kitty playing with her new toy (she actually gave her two new toys). Kate also took care of watering my deck and porch plants, and did many other household details that I hadn't even thought about. She must have noticed that I collected owls, because she left me a lovely card, with an owl, painted by a local artist, that I plan on framing. This was totally unexpected and thoughtful. Yes, I would definitely recommend her.

We came home to a clean house and a happy dog! Overall communication was a bit lacking but I also didn’t set proper expectations ahead of time, there was one thing missed in the welcome guide and that was to leave him in the kitchen when gone, he was not boxed in when we got home. But otherwise everything was well taken care of and she arrived and left on time.

This was our first time using zeewoi and we were a little apprehensive, especially as we were going away for almost 5 weeks, but we really didn’t need to be. Mary and Kevin were fantastic from the start. They had excellent communication and put us at ease straight away. They looked after both our cats with lots of care and we came home to two very happy and content kitties. Mary and Kevin struck the balance just right whilst we were away by keeping us informed of how the cats were and sending pictures of what the cats were up to every couple of days. It was so lovely to know that the cats were enjoying themselves and being so well looked after whilst we were away. Mary and Kevin also looked after our house extremely well and we came back to a very clean and tidy home. We would definitely recommend Mary and Kevin to anyone needing a house sitter and would love for them to sit for us again if they were ever back in the area.

She got on well with my neighbors and even allowed my friend to come visit Suley while she was there. After seeing the numerous positive reviews, I knew Cung would be an easygoing and professional cat sitter and house guest, and he was :-) Easy communication, prompt updates and clear concern for Boz & Artie's wellbeing, and pictures of cozying up on the couch together all made our time away secure and stress free. Upon returning home, the cats were chill and the apt was left spotless, as though he hadn't even been there.

strongly recommend Christine and Phil to housesit for your kitty. Our pets, Babbles and Cousin Eddy, and property, were in very good hands while we where away for two weeks. They had a fair amount entailed with two cats on different food and needs. Cousin Eddy, or Edoardo, is a barn cat we recently adopted. Eddy is very sweet and stays outside but hangs out the side door wanting to be petted and fed; Bubbles is an indoor cat. Both cats were spoiled by Christine and Phil! Christine and Phil were also very caring and attentive with the needs of our Airbnb guests. During the time we were away they kept us updated daily (including photos of the cats). When we came home, our house was perfect, with lovely fresh flowers, notes for us, and our cats had been well-cared-for. They are wonderful house sitters, and we highly recommend them. They were Five-star sitters of our house and cats!

Jenima is an excellent sitter! She is organized, communicative and flexible throughout the stay. We needed a sitter at the last minute because Jazz got sick, and Jenima saved us. We left a little worried about him, but Jenima took care of him really well and kept us informed. Cats love her! We definitely recommend her to take care of your pets!

Danny and Jo did a great job caring for our 3 cats and fish AND lots of plants (and home of course) while we were out of town for 3 weeks. We came back to a very clean house, sheets, and towels all clean and folded and fresh sheets on the bed they were using. The plants were all alive too, which is a first for us (again, we have a lot of plants!). The cats were happy to see us and they were all accounted for (a past sitter lost a cat for a week - they escaped outside as a non-outside cat). Everything was in its place and looked great. We received regular updates (via text) with photos of the cats lounging about which was important for us. Danny asked good questions when they visited us before the sit, and when reviewing our pet/house sitting instructions. The only thing we noticed that was different was that our 2 young cats were a little lighter (not necessarily a bad thing) but we understand that being gone for that length of time can be stressful on our furry family, which almost always affects their eating habits. All in all, we would definitely have them again!

Chris was the perfect combination of responsible and on top of her medication needs while also being calm and relaxed about her picky eating habits and the need to monitor her food and medication consumption. We've had many pet/house sitters over the last few years and Cat and Eugene will reside at the top of the list of favorites! From my first email with Cat I knew I liked her. She has all of the qualities of a good house and pet sitter: Reliable, a good listener, organized, flexible, caring, and honest. She and Eugene arrived exactly on time for our pre-sit visit, where they got to meet Maya and become familiarized with the house. It was a delight to visit with them and become comfortable knowing Maya would be in good hands. Our scheduled dates changed somewhat and they were extremely flexible and easy going about the changes. Upon our return home, we found the house pretty much in the exact condition we left it in. I can tell that great care was taken for Maya and for the house. Maya seemed to still be looking for them the next day, wandering around the house wondering where the other people who loved her went. I would recommend Cat and Eugene for anyone looking for reliable, kind, respectful, caring, tidy, and honest sitters. If I am lucky, I will get to have them back to sit for me again.

Karen has been walking my dog several times a week for going on two years now and I feel totally at ease knowing that she is watching after him when I can't be home. I am very particular about who I leave the care of my dog to and I know that Karen takes care of him just like I would. I had Karen from FurKidsPA care for my cats while I was away. She came when expected, and always sent me pictures and updates. Any time I had a question, I heard back from her quickly. Fantastic service, and I'll be using FurKidsPA again.
Where do I begin with this review? Since moving to the area as a single person with no relatives around, I needed someone to help me with my puggle while I was at work. After meeting with two other people I decided Karen was the best option. Over the course of the last two years, I switched jobs a few times with different schedules. Karen was always able to accommodate us. Sometimes I needed her help in the evening or sometimes early in the morning. Regardless, she was always able to help, I am sure it wasn’t always easy for her but she made it work for me (thanks Karen!). Currently, Karen stops by Monday through Friday weekly and neither my pup nor I would want it any other way. My boy also loves his Karen time. He loves when she comes to visit, sometimes I feel like he’s looking for her at her normal time even when I am home. I also enjoy the pictures she sends me from their meet ups. This isn’t just a job to Karen , she really loves coming to see my boy. Part of me did not want to write a review. Reason being, I thoroughly enjoy Karen being a secret only a select few know about. However, due to how wonderful of a person and worker she is, I have to help spread the word of FurKids of PA. Your pets will be happy as will you.
Karen at Fur Kids is an amazing pet sitter! We've been using her for more than 7 years. She's cared for our cats, our fish, and even our hamster! She always goes above and beyond to make sure our property is cared for while we are away, from bringing in the mail to watering the plants! Karen has bought treats when we've run out, fixed our cat feeder, and several times has extended her services for additional days with little notice when our trips have run long. She's incredible! Karen is wonderful! She's taken care of our three dogs when we were out of town and takes them on their regular walks as well. The pups always complete their walks with big smiles on their faces and they sense, as I do, that she is a real dog person and cares for them and all animals which is very important to us. Karen is professional and conscientious. She texted me pics of our pups when we were away and she sends updates on how they are doing which sets our minds at ease. I highly recommend her.
My beasties (2 cats) are my babies and when my friend who took care of them for me moved away, I didn't know what I was going to do. Karen is amazing. We received daily texts letting us know how each visit went. When we came home, both cats were happy, content and very well cared for. Now, when we have to travel, we can do so secure because we know there is someone taking care of them who really cares about the animals she watches. Highly recommend!

Mende is reliable, loving, and understanding. She has been walking my dog Max for about a year now and I can always trust her to be communicative, show up consistently, make sure that Max is safe, and show him love as if he is her own. I love receiving pictures and updates from her on their walks, and she’s flexible if timing needs to be changed or if there’s a special request (like to feed him after his walk). I love that I have someone I can trust to care for Max when I’m at work during the day so I don’t have to worry. Mende has also watched Max overnight once as well, which was great experience.

I always get a little nervous when leaving my fuzzy buddy behind, as I'm sure anyone does. Mendé really helped ease that anxiety by keeping up regular communication and even videos and pictures! Mende is great! She has taken care of our dog, Wrigley, several times; she is communicative and easy to get in touch with. As hard evidence: My wife and I got married in Prospect Park, and entrusted Mende to bring Wrigley over for post-wedding photos.

My dog Buckley is 12 years old and has never stayed with anyone except my brother. I was concerned he would be unhappy and worried staying anywhere else. He was very content and happy with Kat at Barks & Parks and seemed to bond with them right away. She sent pictures every day and updated me as to what she was doing with him. I felt very good knowing he was being taken care of and enjoying his stay. I would recommend Kat to give your fur baby a home atmosphere while you are away.
Kat was amazing with Noah during his 3-day boarding. I was immediately comforted when talking to her the first time, hearing about her experience and ambition in transitioning to animal care full-time. Her place was clean, spacious, with a quaint outdoor patio. Noah has separation anxiety so I was very nervous and picky about where he would stay. He was wagging his tail and happy when we picked him up. A 5-star experience! Thanks Kat!
This was our first time boarding our furbaby, Nala, so we were naturally a bit nervous. From the first moment we met Kat, she put us at ease and left us with the impression that she would love on our dog..and we were right! Every day, she followed our instructions and suggestions to a “T”; taking our dog on two walks a day, spoiling her rotten. I think Nala still misses her! 😂 if we are in need of boarding again, Kat will be our first choice and would highly recommend Barks&Parks Pet Services!
Kat took care of my dog as part of her doggie daycare service. She kindly both picked him up and brought him back to my home. While under her care they took several walks, and she shared pictures via a dog sitting app, which was awesome. When my pup returned, he was was happy and clearly had a great time. Our dogs love Kat and her boyfriend. One of our dogs gets excited anytime she gets in the car now, thinking she’s headed to daycare. 5 STARS!!! VERY Happy with this service! My dog Deanna is 10.5 yrs old and recently started having seizures (in March of 2022). We went on vacation in May and booked her with a local kennel (NOT this one). I couldn't confirm that they were or were not giving her her seizure meds, as when we returned & picked her up she had a seizure that night and several more a day afterward. Needless to say when it came time to go to Lancaster PA for a vacation in July which is 2.5 hrs from home, I was VERY worried on where I would leave her and what I would do if something should happen. THEN I found Barks & Parks Pet Services!! We drove out, dropped her off with Kat, and then went to our hotel which was 10 minutes away! Talk about convenience! Deanna had a WONDERFUL TIME there!!! She got along with the other dogs (which is not the norm!). When I first dropper her off the 1st day she seemed apprehensive which I expected. I did NOT expect to hear how well she was getting along with her new friends and how after a few days was fitting right in to her old routine! I wish I could leave her there ANY time we go away! This is a WONDERFUL alternative to a regular kennel. It is a regular house, where the dogs are in a more home-like environment as opposed to in a kennel. I highly recommend barks & parks!!
Kat’s service through Barks & Parks was exceptional!! Our little dog was walked and cared for so well, we were afraid she wouldn’t want to come home. We received twice daily updates on how she was doing along with the cutest pictures. We were incredibly pleased with Barks and Parks and would definitely use this home-like dog boarding service again!!!.

Happy Trails is the best! It can be so stressful leaving pets behind but I never have a single worry knowing they’ll be here taking care of my fur babies. From fish to cats, dogs, chickens etc. they do it all. They even made sure my wilting plant was watered. Everything was sparkling clean and all pets were happy and healthy when I arrived home. I didn’t have any stress coming home from my trip because there was nothing to catch up on - it was all done! I have recommended them in the past and will continue to do so. They are amazing.

Happy Trails took the best care of our Storm girl while we were away on vacation. We’ve always boarded her in the past while away and she’s never really thrived in those environments. She’s always stressed herself out to the point of getting sick and coming home to a sick pup is never fun for anyone. Steph and her team were on top of everything…super communicative, responsive, followed all instructions and most importantly took great care of our pup. I’ll for sure be using them again when we go away!

My older doodle has boarded w Julie’s families for several years w good success. Her families are carefully vetted. Also important to me is that Julie checks on the dog’s well being throughout the duration of the stay.

We have had a great experience from everything to pre-meeting our host families to logistics including drop off, pick up and payment. What a great experience ! We had to go out of town and I was so stressed out because our usual dog sitter was on vacation, I called Julie because I needed someone the next day , Julie was so helpful she found us someone right away, she paired our dog Millie with Judy who was also absolutely amazing , Millie stayed with with Judy for three nights. Julie and her team are not only professionals they are true animal lovers. Our sitter Alex went out his way to make our shy dog comfortable! Our house was kept clean and organized and our pets were calm and happy when we got home!!

Julie has been helping me find a friendly, loving, comfortable home for my dog Rocky for the past six years. It makes taking a trip so easy. I never worry about Rocky when we are out of town. He is cared for just as he would be in his own home. He has stayed with a few different families over the past years and each one has been wonderful! Sharing lots of pictures and letting him snuggle next to them on the couch just like he enjoys doing with us at home. Julie knows what she is doing and offers a valuable service!
We are very happy with the family Julie placed us with. We continue to drop off our dog, Boomer, with them when we travel. We have gone on 3 trips and have already booked them for a trip in September. The family is very nice and takes great care of Boomer. We highly recommend Julie and her boarding business.
