Older woman ready for newer experiences
Melanie was a dream dog/housesitter! The Mary Poppins of zeewoi. She was fabulous with the animals and very conscientious of the house and yard. We came back to a spotless home and happy creatures! So grateful. Would be so happy to have Melanie again.

Ensure your pets are lovingly cared for, plus pictures and/or videos sent daily!
Teresa is the best of the best of zeewoi. Our dogs love her and welcome her when she comes in the house. She send pictures and videos and keeps us informed. The house had a little problem and she dealt with it easily. We give her the highest recommendation.

Clean and responsible, pet & plant loving young professional
Gabby and her partner were very thoughtful sitters. They took great care of Buddy and made sure he got all his walks and potty breaks. I wish they were a bit more proactive wirh updates but they did respond when I reached out. Overall I had a great experience with them.

Positively Purrfect Pet & House Sitter
Riley took good care of our pets and was reliable. He was friendly and communicative. He did leave some dirty dishes, and forgot a couple of belongings he had to come back for. Overall, it was a positive experience!

Mature, professional, reliable house sitter: looking for pet interaction!

Kind and Helpful
This is my first time using zeewoi and I couldn't be more pleased with Peggy. She was such a joy to have in my home and took such good care of Max & Beau for the 10 days I was out of town. The puppies were walked at least twice a day - what a trooper Peggy was for taking them out at 5:30 am. She kept me informed if there was anything going on. I know my puppies were loved and would definitely have Peggy back again. Thank you so much Peggy!

Shaina was a great sitter for my cat Lionel. She was great with communicating before the sit and was willing to come meet me in person before the sit. She also kept me updated throughout the sit, with photos and little notes. When I returned home the flat was tidy and Lionel seemed happy!
It was my first time using zeewoi so I was slightly apprehensive, but as soon as I heard from Kendra I knew both my cat and my apartment would be in safe hands. Kendra was great with communicating and coming back quickly, very friendly and clearly experienced with sitter jobs. Whilst staying at my place she sent me regular updates. Once I returned home the flat was spotless. I would highly recommend Kendra and I would certainly use her again. She’s great!
Florence and Robert were outstanding sitters. We asked them to arrive a day early as our guests to learn the routine on our farm. In getting to know them we found them to be good hearted, down to earth people with a love of animals and diligent in learning our routines to care for our poultry, cats and dog as well as our garden and orchard. Not a typical or easy sit. We travelled with ease knowing our critters were being well taken care of. Arriving home, the house was very clean and looked well cared for. The animals were healthy as were the garden and orchard. Out pets missed them when they left – our dog stared down the driveway after them until their car was out of sight. It is nice to find sitters we would like to hang out with and we look forward to having them sit for us again.
Kathryn was amazing. She helped me figure plans out after another sitter dropped out at the last minute and saved the day! My cat and fish were well taken care of, and she was super communicative when my tank had a problem child moment. Would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, helpful, and caring sitter!!
After seeing the numerous positive reviews, I knew Cung would be an easygoing and professional cat sitter and house guest, and he was :-) Easy communication, prompt updates and clear concern for Boz & Artie's wellbeing, and pictures of cozying up on the couch together all made our time away secure and stress free. Upon returning home, the cats were chill and the apt was left spotless, as though he hadn't even been there.
Amanda is truly our trusted sitter "find"! She comes back regularly, so much so that our kitties think she is their secondary owner! Always reliable, clean, responsible and most of all loves our cats as much as we do! Good communicator, self reliant - all in all a perfect "10"!
Brian is a very professional sitter that does a good job, pays attention to details and is easy to work with. I have a lot of plants. A lot. He suggested me do a video for the plant care so he could be sure of which ones needed what. Brilliant! I’d never thought of that. They were in great shape when I returned. I explained that I needed some flexibility with travel dates, he agreed and rolled with the punches like a champ when my dates did indeed change. Unfortunately, he was a bit allergic to my cat but made it work anyway. He was really awesome about everything including a tree that fell next door in a storm and blocked the road for three days. I appreciate that he appreciated how funny and how much personality Boo has. They got along well and I received some great videos. I returned home to a happy cat and a house well taken care of 😊. I would definitely recommend Brian.
Kimberly was a wonderful sitter who watched our two cats for us while we were out. She was willing to come a day early to help acclimate herself with the animals, and this was exceedingly helpful in making sure the cats would be comfortable with her during our absence. I would highly recommend Kimberly if you're looking for a responsible, caring sitter.
Lindsey was super communicative, friendly, responsible, and an excellent sitter for our two cats. When we returned, our home was clean and our cats relaxed and happy as if we had never left ! She sent us photos and updates every day, as requested, and when a random mishap occurred in the apartment, she let us know right away and was proactive in handling issue. We felt like both our cats and our home were in very caring, capable and respectful hands. Excellent! Thank you Lindsey!
Rick and Sally are marvelous cat sitters and we would gladly have them back anytime. We highly recommend them to any and all pet owners. They arrived when they said they would and were ready to go when we returned, making sure our cats were present before departing. Our home was left spotless, undoubtedly better than we left it for them. We can't urge you enough to engage them if you can!
Is it better to board cats or leave at home?
Veterinarians advising to leave cats at home with a pet sitter who will stay overnight in your home, boarding is not recommended for cats as they are stressed in a new environment, you can find a sitter who will care for your cats and home for free at Zeewoi.
How much should you pay someone to watch your cat?
At least $20 per visit, $10/day per overnight watching in your home, otherwise you can find a free sitter at Zeewoi.
What do people do with their cats when they go on vacation?
Inviting a cat sitter to your home, boarding the cat with a local business, asking a friend, family or neighbour to feed and check the well-being. The most efficient way to leave your cat during your vacation is with Zeewoi cat sitters for free, in this way, you will save cat sitting costs and make vacation not only for you but also for your cat sitter!
Brian has been amazing! Brian has been walking my Chocolate lab since I was relocated to St. Louis in January. He is great at communicating how your pet is doing and any changes he notices. He has been super reliable and adaptable to my work schedule. I would recommend STL Happy Dogs to anyone looking for someone who cares about the care of their pet.
Brian really helped me out during my travels through St. Louis. I had tried several larger dog sitters and all were either booked, didn’t return my calls or required a meet and greet prior to my dog spending the day. Upon meeting Brian, he was immediately aware of my dog’s anxiety due to traveling. She willingly went with him which made me feel at ease about leaving her. I am so glad Brian was able to keep my dog as active as I was while we visited St. Louis. His prices are reasonable and his service was greatly appreciated.
I agree, Brian was a lifesaver! He was able to watch my dog Riley when I had some last-minute plans. We did a meet a greet and my dog loved him, she was immediately at ease! Brian was super easy-going and nice to work with. He even took care of Riley's upset stomach after getting into the trash (sorry!). I felt horrible that she got sick at his place, especially bc I was running late picking her up the next day! But he was so nice to take care of her and was not upset that I was late or at the fact she got sick at his place! He even said she was welcome back :)
Brian with STL Happy Dogs watched our 3 cats when we went on vacation recently. He was responsive and made sure they received lots of pets, food and a clean litter box. Our travel plans were disrupted and we had to stay an extra day and Brian made time to stop by and check in on the cats that extra day. It's clear he really cares about the pets he is caring for. Would highly recommend!
I had a great experience with Brian when I was a student and needed someone to care for my new cat over school breaks. He was very professional and accommodating to the specifics of what I needed, including playing with and spending time with my cat. He took great care of my neighbor's dog, too. Would highly recommend Brian/STL Happy Dogs for any dog AND/or cat care.
Brian was a miracle worker from day one. His response time was impeccable. We struggled with getting control of our rescue dog for nearly three years before we reached out to Brian & STL Happy Dogs. His presence was immediately helpful with finally integrating our dog into the household as a real family member. We have also used his boarding services when we travel and I wouldn't trust my dog more with anyone else.
Brian did a nice job taking care of my 2 kitties over a weekend. He was calm and quiet so they took to him instantly! He has reasonable prices, sent pics of my cats at his visits and he kept their food and litter bucket areas immaculately clean. I really appreciated that. I would use his services again .
Brian was very responsive when I contacted him on-line for pet sitting on short notice. He came right out to our house to meet the animals. While we were away he kept in communication with us about how it was going, especially with our dog who can sometimes be reluctant. It so happened that our neighborhood lost power due to a storm while we were away, and Brian let us know and was making sure it didn’t get too warm in the house for the animals. He visited several times a day, and was very flexible when we let him know we would be returning later than originally planned. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Brian and STL Happy Dogs, LLC again, and actually plan to in the very near future! Thank you Brian!
Brian has been my families "dog-guy" for years. It's wonderful to know that I'm leaving them in good hands when they are under his care. From my special needs Pug (blind and deaf) to my 110 pound pitbull mix powerhouse, he's got the experience and understanding to handle them all. From basic walks to overnight care, Brian provides the peace of mind to allow my wife and I to travel with the knowledge that the gang back home is being well cared for. Thanks for everything, Brian!
Brian has been walking our doggie Bruce for almost a year and he has been very dependable. He comes twice a week and will check in to see how Bruce is doing with training. We discussed with him walking Bruce for 30 minutes and Brian will walk him for a longer period of time many times. This gives Bruce more exercise while we are at work. Brian has also helped us in a pinch when we needed boarding. We highly recommend STL Happy Dogs!
My 4 year old goldendoodle just finished a 3 week training session with Kailee and saw tremendous progress. My dog is an anxious, reactive dog (yay Covid puppies) that needed some serious work and Kailee is simply a magician. Within three weeks of working with Kailee, she now can walk really well and can ignore most of the distractions that made walking her a nightmare. She's also learned a few other commands that help her control her energy and anxious tendencies. She truly exceeded my expectations and we are continuing to work on them and look forward to some periodic refreshes with Kailee. My dog does not love humans she doesn't know, but absolutely loves and trusts Kailee and we simply cannot recommend her as a trainer enough! Well worth the time and cost and would do it all again in a heartbeat. Not to mention, the rest of the staff here is amazing and treated my dog so well.
We have been taking our King Charles Cavalier there since he’s been about about five months old so for about a total of 3 1/2 months. I wanted to see the facility when we got there just to see what it was like and they said that wasn’t allowed, but I still went ahead and sent him one day a week until today. The facility now has cameras where you can see your dogs so that may be happy that I could check in on him. When I checked in on him today, he was kennel and I wasn’t sure why while the other dogs ran around and played. I called to see why he was kennel and was told that he had been trying to mount some of the other dogs. Now we have never been told that he tried doing this in the past and we’ve had him at other facilities with dogs and friends and training classes and he never has attempted to do this with another dog or us but of course there’s always a first for everything so I was like OK what’s your Policy for handling this situation and they said we create them for an hour and then take them out and if they do it again, we create them for another hour and so. First of all, I wasn’t happy that he had been being created without me knowing it and then using that as a form of punishment as all our trainers we’ve ever had with our dogs have said do not use the crate as a farm a punishment.. So I also asked if this was an ongoing issue and the one girl said yes and I said well if it’s been an ongoing issue why have we not been told about this in the past. So I went to go pick him up and I talked to the people in charge. One gentleman agreed with me that that was a little rash for him to be kenneled up And then the general manager said no that’s their policy which which it’s their right to have that policy, but I think it’s also my right to be notified as a pet parent that this has been an issue however, the gentleman that worked there said he looked back in the files and it’s never been documented that our dog has done this in the past. So I’m not sure what to believe but I don’t like the idea that he’s being created and not given any explanation to us, nor would I I know, except for the fact that I saw him and asked why. I’ve decided to take him out of this facility because I’ve taken him the multiple training classes and he’s a very well behaved dog and I’m not just saying that cause he’s mine and usually if you correct him something once or twice, he is really responsive. I called a pet trainer who’s really high qualified pet trainer and she said she would not take him there either as that should not be a form of punishment. Just wanna make anyone that’s going to take their dog there to make sure they watch the cameras and see what’s going on because they don’t communicate anything to you. They just make it sound like everything’s fine and take your money and then when you see something they tell you it’s been an ongoing issue. I kind of doubt it, but who knows .
We have been taking our husky mix here ever since we adopted him and the employees here have made it so stress free and incredibly convenient since we live in an apartment with a dog who adores other dogs and human company. We will continue bringing our canine companions here for as long as we can!
We recently brought in our dog, Timmy, for training, and No Leash Needed was phenomenal! Always extremely communicative and flexible, and every staff member is so kind. We had a phenomenal experience with our trainer Kaylee, who set an excellent obedience foundation with our dog in just two weeks. Would recommend No Leash Needed Hampton and Kaylee to anyone!
I really cannot say enough great things about No Leash Needed Hampton! We boarded our dog, Morgan, for the first time, and I'm so happy it was at this location. We had an emergency trip come up and the time I had to find someone to watch him was very short notice. Being that we are fairly new to STL, it was hard to find a trustworthy caretaker. 1) because he is a pit and 2) because he doesn't do well with other (male) dogs. Being that it was such short notice and Hampton doesn't normally do individual play time, the staff was very understanding and kind to our situation, especially after I called in 3 other No Leash facilities, but they were all booked up. We were able to do a temperament test and regardless of him failing, they took him in and let us board. We were gone for 10 days and did not feel worried at all! In addition, the staff was super friendly, nice, and knowledgeable, which really put us at ease. I can tell that Morgan was well taken care of and really loved on. I love the final report cards that they sent us at the end too! I hope that you'll let us stay with you again No Leash Hampton!!!
Both of my dogs came here for daycare and got kennel cough. I called to see if they had anyone recently in there with kennel cough and they go “yeah we recently had an outbreak a week or two ago.” Literally no one notified me or bothered to let me know about this. Now I have two very sick dogs!! On top of that they are very expensive, so the least they could do is notify the pet parents when there is an outbreak so we can get our pets the care they need!! I’m so disappointed and frustrated with this facility. I will not bring back my dogs here. BTW this outbreak just happened so be aware!!
My sweet Rue had her first experience recently with daycare at No Leash Needed on Hampton. I appreciated their attention to detail in making sure all of her paperwork is in order before accepting her. That is really important to me because I want to make sure she’s in a safe environment. Check in went well and my sweet girl had such a good day. I also appreciate it that when I brought her for the next time, they graded her by name, and seemed excited to see her . She was definitely excited for another day to play with other dogs. The facility is very clean and the team members are very friendly. I am a fan!
We took our puppy Mischa here for puppy preschool. She loved it and we loved it. The trainers and staff I can tell honestly care about her and she REALLY loves going there. From a training standpoint, she is a much better listener and I think we’ve learned some good ways to work with her at home too. Know that you, the human, also have to put in some work too! I would highly recommend them for training.
When we came in for the first time, staff already knew his name. They also reassured me that my baby would be fine! And he was... He played (exercised) lots & was tired and slept very well! I am very picky but I can say I was truly impressed! Tyger went in willingly the next morning!
My two dogs can be quite a handful, and the staff here is wonderful. I have done boarding and daycare here and they always come home exhausted. I trust that my Piper and Willow are in very good hands here!
Our dog was a pandemic pup, and a 5-year-old when we rescued her from a shelter, so she’s not very socialized. They warned us that she did not like going to the vet or the groomer. But from the first time we took her to get groomed at Kennelwood at Bar K, she was fine, apart from some very minor grumbling. They treat her well and I think she knows she’s being cared for. Big paws up from us!
We took our dog here to get trained, trying to understand the root cause of his jumping issues and Brittany was phenomenal! She was able to diagnose and give us tools in order to help train our dog. Definitely recommend.
**UPDATE: Manager called to discuss my concerns about this appointment and were very attentive to the concerns! - Customer Service is noted and we will be back to give them another grooming try in the future!* :-) Recently took our dog to get groomed, and the check in was smooth and we discussed preferences, I explained how he has knots on the fur under his belly and legs...upon getting my dog picked up, we were not impressed. The fur on his legs was barely clipped nor brushed, along with the knots were still under his belly. I had to cut them.out and brush him when getting home. The dog cut overall just looked incomplete and/or rushed.
We were in STL for the day and needed doggie day care. Bar K was close to our destination, looked good online and convenient, so we took our dog. It's GREAT! Quick to check in, great staff, Olive seemed very happy. And, they have a bar/restaurant attached with a bigger dog park, that we had a beer in after our day. Highly recommend
Bar K is FABULOUS!!! Great concept and fulfilled to the limit! Can’t think of anything they didn’t address! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, this place! Great for dogs and their people! My Dog belongs to the Country Club and I get to go too! Soooo much fun! 💥❤️👍🏻💥 …
I have brought my dog to play several times! Staff is always friendly and attentive. I brought her for her first professional grooming today and Ky’ara did a fantastic job. We will be back for maintenance brushes and future grooming. Thanks a million Ky’ara!
This review is of their obedience training. While on the surface it may appear our dog learned some skills. It became apparent in the last week or 2 of her training something happened. Stella Blue went from a happy go lucky pup to an anxious and scared pup. Which after hundreds of dollars spent with behavior specialists, we will spend hundred if not thousands more with a DVACB doctor. Likley will cost more than the almost $2k we spent on training and unintentionally breaking her. :(. So buyer be ware. Their training isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
I am very pleased with the service I was provided on my first visit. They let me tour the facility and showed me where my pup would be hanging out during the day while I toured the city when passing through. Highly recommend! We even got a little report card at the end describing my pups day!
I think my little tucker was more happy than I was after his grooming. When I first got my poodle miniature he was in bad shape. I bought some puppy grooming supplies to try to clean him up. But even with the aftermath Bar K did a good job. Dispute all the bad reviews I used to work here so I know how they handle and treat our puppy kiddos. Nothing can go wrong when it comes to Bar K. I would pick them over Pet Smart any Day.
The groomer was amazing for my puppy’s first grooming. The groomer was very informative and the outcome was better than I expected! I’ll definitely bring her here again.
Puppy is always happy to be dropped off for daycare and always returns ready to sleep after. When we need to board him the staff has always kept us informed of any issues and posts photos so we can be happy he's well cared for. Have always trusted Happy Dog Spot with our dogs care. 👍 …
The Happy Dog Spot is the best of the best! Our dog boarded for four nights and was very well taken care of. He has boarded many places, but the Happy Dog Spot is the gold standard. The team gave us a thoughtful overview of how they care for the dogs during their stay and provided an overview of the facility. Beyond that, the team was extremely easy to communicate with and answered all of our questions. Their love for dogs is evident and much appreciated. I would recommend Happy Dog Spot to any and everyone. Thank you again to the team for such a great experience - we'll be back!
I absolutely love this place !!!!!! I was so upset with Mavericks last groomer. When I reached out to Krystal she was so kind and patient with Maverick. She informed me on exactly what Maverick needed and not only did she do an awesome job he felt really comfortable with her. Thanks Happy Dog Spot !!!!!
Great experience here, my dog enjoyed playing and getting a wonderful groom.
Happy Dog Spot is an absolute gem! My puppy absolutely loves it. The staff is caring, the facility is clean, and Doge's tail never stops wagging. Highly recommended! 🐶🏠💕 …
I have been using the daycare for about a year. I tried several and this is the only one my dog wanted to come back to - he absolutely loves it! They have a huge indoor space and ample outdoor space, wonderful staff to dog ratio, super clean, attentive and professional staff, grooming and boarding as well.
My dog and I always have a great experience at Happy Dog Spot! They offer boarding and daycare so I've always got somewhere to take him. My boy always has so much fun and comes back worn out ready for the next day.
We have used them for years and have had a consistently great experience. Friendly and responsive, really care about the dogs.
We love Happy Dog Spot and so do our pups, Biff and Bella. They always come home tired from all of the playtime they get.
Premier dog day care and boarding! They love dogs. They have a dog-to-person ratio so they have enough people to watch the number of dogs they're caring for, and they evaluate each dog to make sure it's happy there. Love this place!
My pup, Elbie, has been going to the Watering Bowl for over 6+ years. She started at 6mo old. It is her home away from home and she absolutely loves it. The staff are amazing and always go the extra mile, they are some of her favorite humans. She regularly attends daycare at Hanley and I trust no one else for boarding. She occasionally visits Dog Grove and they are just as wonderful.
My 8 month old lab puppy seems to love it there. As an over protective dog mom so far I’m happy we have had issues in the past at another daycare with them not know about an injury she had. I love when I pick layla up I get notes on how her day was who she played with and even when she gets into trouble it’s nice to know. I also love that they have late pick up and you don’t have to bored them if your a little late. The staff is always SUPER friendly. Only 2 down sides I have found is I wish they had cameras the other daycares that she’s went to had cameras and I loved being able to watch her. I also wish I seen her in more Facebook photos since theirs no cameras just making sure she’s having the fun I think she is having. But overall great place with great staff
We have two Great Pyrenees that love the people working at The Watering Bowl! They frequent the Hanley location - I highly recommend that you schedule time to sniff around and your fur baby to have a day of fun. They post pictures and videos of the dogs daily.
We love the Watering Bowl, we have been taking our pup there since he was under a year! The staff is amazing they take such great care of the pups! We love them and we are so glad to have them in our lives!
Our pup Sasha frequents TWB weekly. She LOVES coming, and wiggles her way up to the front door. We are always greeted by name in the morning. I truly feel like my dog is family to the staff and I know she’s having a good time! We love Hanley!
I love the Watering bowl. I have a senior dog that happily goes there everyday for daycare while I work. They are so caring for the animals it gives me peace of mind knowing she is well cared for.
The Watering Bowl (Hanley) is my favorite place for day care and boarding. My owners have been taking me there for years. The staff are super nice to me and ensure I have a great time playing with all my friends. Lady
Read the fine print, and don't rely on staff to give accurate information about hours and services. Also, if you buy a package, know that they are location specific. They seem to take good care of my dogs, with the exception that they don't do a good job of cleaning their ears. They will charge you for every little thing, even if it's their fault, and point to the fine print of their website if there are any questions. Not very customer friendly. Examples below. The first time I utilized The Watering Bowl, I dropped both of my dogs off at the Brentwood location for boarding while I was out of town. My mom had to pick them up because one of my dogs will occasionally cough due to allergies. OK, they're cautious about kennel cough. I understand that. Inconvenient for me and my family, but I had the vet confirm he just has allergies. The second time I dropped them off at the Grove location for boarding, bath, nails, and ears. We walked in to pick up at 10am (pick up cut off time). After speaking with the front desk and them having issues with their card reader, the invoice was time stamped at 10:07. I was charged for half a day of daycare due to being "late." When I called and said I was there at 10, admittedly cutting it close with our long drive, but was there on time, she referred to the 10:07 time stamp and said even if you're 2 minutes late, you will be charged for daycare. OK great, I'll be sure to pick them up at 9:30 next time and pray there is no line. In addition, my dogs ears had a bunch of ear wax and it didn't even look like they had been cleaned. Yesterday I dropped them off for daycare and a bath at the Brentwood location. The girl checking them in said I could pick them up whenever. I asked for clarity on the pick up time and explained that I would be going out to Ste. Gen until at least 5:30pm, and I'm not even sure what time I would be getting back. She said oh, that sounds fun, yeah you can pick them up any time. When I got back into town and went to pick them up, there was no one in the lobby and the door was locked. I called twice and no one answered. While I was standing there, a worker just happened to walk into the lobby and explained that they closed at 4pm, and that they had tried to call me. He told me I could pick them up at 8am, because the night crew can't check anyone out. Okay, well why didn't the front desk inform me of this when I was dropping them off? I could have arranged something at that moment or planned better with the correct information! To add insult, they charged me $200 for boarding and when I asked if I could use a boarding package I already purchased previously (at the Grove location), I was informed I could not because packages are location specific. Wonderful. Like I said earlier, they will do EXACTLY what their fine print says. Nothing more, nothing less. Do not expect any flexibility in their policies or any accommodations if emergencies or sudden changes occur. Do not expect the front desk staff to give you correct information and always read their policies and their website yourself.
We love everyone at the watering bowl. My girl can’t wait to get in there and they also do a great job on her nails (and she is a tough customer!)
Roots loves going to the Watering Bowl Hanley. He runs and drags me to the door as soon as we park
Thank you so much Dan and the Holly Hills Pet Hotel team for taking care of my baby boy like your own! I can’t appreciate enough the photos and love you have given Duke as well as the safety and assurance to our family. You have a client for life and will always praise your services to all my neighbors, family and friends!
I love this place. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. The couple that own HollyHills Pet Hotel are truly dog lovers. I send 2 dogs and I know they are safe and happy when they are there. The first day I sent them to daycare I got multiple updates, which I greatly appreciate. The dogs are always supervised when in a group. The facility is clean and secure- they have outdoor play areas and multiple play areas indoors which is nice with winter coming. I can honestly say I am completely comfortable with the idea of them staying for a week when I go on vacation.
My first experience with Holly Hills Pet Hotel and I am SO happy to have found a place I can confidently leave my baby. I will definitely be a returning customer. My puppy did not want to leave. That's the best testimonial
Love Holly Hills Pet Hotel. The owner is a true dog person--he loves and understands them. I feel very comfortable leaving our dog here, whether for daycare or an extended stay. I'm so happy to have found this place.
I can’t praise Dan enough for the loving care he gave our dog! He gives daily updates with pictures and is very attentive to the dogs’ needs. I recommend Holly Hills Pet Hotel very highly.
We love the Pet Hotel! Our dog Jolene goes several times a week and can’t wait to see her pals. Dan always sends updates with pictures and videos of the dogs having fun and wearing themselves out for a peaceful night. You definitely know your dog is well taken care of so I highly recommend bringing your pups here
We first met Dan & Shelly through Rover and were so impressed with how well they took care of our pup when she boarded with them. Then when Dan told us about their pet hotel, coincidentally opening right before we left for our honeymoon (how serendipitous!), we knew that was the perfect place to care for our girl Blue while we were gone. We got tons of adorable pics and updates throughout Blue's stay and we could tell she was having a fantastic time! We will definitely be booking Holly Hills Pet Hotel again :)
My wife and I adopted a new dog a couple of weeks before Christmas. I realized we weren't going to be able to take her with us to visit out-of-town family, so I scrambled to find a place to board her. After Googling around, I landed on Holly Hills Pet Hotel. We took Maizie there for a two-day stay. I was a little worried she'd be sitting in a pen for two days. The owners, Dan and Shellie, sent us photos and she seemed to be doing just fine and having fun with a couple of the other dogs. About a week later we took her there for doggie daycare. I was wondering if Maizie would be resistant to going back—nope! She practically pulled my wife's arm out of the socket she was in such a hurry to get inside and then jumped into Dan's arms with excitement, she was so happy to see him. All worries gone. She absolutely loves coming here. Dan and Shelley are both awesome dog-loving people. The facility is wonderful: very clean with roomy boarding crates, and indoor and outdoor play areas. I highly recommend Holly Hills Pet Hotel. Very, very happy we found this place.
This place is amazing. It is the only place I send my 2 beagles. I know they are getting the same love and care from Dan and Shellie that they get at home. The daily photos at no extra cost is such a great perk. I would give 10 stars if I could!! Here are just a few of the pics sent to me from their last stay.
Went on vacation feeling nervous about leaving our dogs behind. But holly hills immediately sent me pictures of our happy dogs playing around. They REALLY care about providing safe and supportive care here and LOVE dogs. We were so delighted with this place. Will book again!!
Amazing place for dog lovers... and their dogs! Really like the quality of grooming. Our four year old Cockapoo...Arlo... really does well here. They really connect with the dogs and it lessens the anxiety of grooming. He stays for doggy day camp. Clean. Fun. Nice people. Fair pricing. Good location. We go to Page n Lindbergh so I can drop off on way to work and p u after. Arlo has been a guest 3x. Many more lay ahead.
I normally have a pretty good experience especially at the page and Lindbergh location but for some reason when I picked up my pets from a 6 night/7 day stay, I was given back 5 meals worth of food for my cats, which shouldn’t have happened because I individually packed each meal for each pet. The staff went over feeding instructions with me as normal when I dropped off so I thought we had everything settled. Everything else about the stay was fine but I’m concerned that no one mentioned anything to me about the food, or thought to question why there was so much left.
Hunter has trained Clark several times and has done a great job! Clark listens well to commands, is gentle with new people and loves other dogs - well socialized! Kennelwood has been so great!!
Moving back into the area after a 22 year absence, Kennewick didn't disappoint. I had my two large mix breed dogs groomed. They did an excellent job. They are not the cheapest, but in my opinion, they're the best!
I have full confidence in Kennelwood. They really care about their furry friends and my dog was so happy to go in to stay and happy when we picked him up! They follow directions very well. They give great treats too! The care is consistent and reliable at different locations as well.
We brought in our newly adopted, 200-pound, adult Saint Bernard, who desperately needed grooming, and they did an outstanding job. The hardest part for them - in addition to his dirty matting and gigantic size - was my mistake of over-tranquilizing him prior to the appointment. 🙄 He is in a totally new environment with us as it is (four days only), then he went to the vet the day before (freak-out), then to the groomers. Poor guy was overwhelmed. So, I gave him too much medication, and they ended up with a 200-pound hairy blob. 🥺 They worked on him all day and then had to contend with his coming out of the fog later on. He was none too pleased by that time. But, he is so clean and good-smelling! They even called the next day to see how he was doing. We will definitely make it a regular habit to take him there. (Hopefully, that's okay with them!)
I was somewhat concerned that you fed my little dog all of the dog treats I had included in the bag. Way too much!!! I always include extra meal bags and treats …. Just in case something should happen and he needed to be there longer. I would think that your staff would have a better sense of what is appropriate to feed a small dog. Hopefully this comment gives food for thought. Otherwise I know he was treated well.
Overall a good experience. There was a lot of missed info I didn't receive. Especially, since this is my 1st time owning a dog and using kennel services. Didn't realize any uneaten food would be tossed. My puppy barely ate during her visit so about 3 days of food was just thrown away. She was constipated from holding her bowels and urine because the area they go is all concrete. She is used to going on grass so I knew that would be a problem. But I was told she would be walked in a grassy area if she wasn't going. Upon pickup she was clean and in good spirits. No hidden or unexpected fees were added to my bill. All the staff, especially Debbie and Amie, were so nice, polite and answered my questions fully. I would recommend and use this establishment in the near future again.
We use Kennelwood regularly to give our dog a bath and nail file and throw in a doggie day camp. The staff is very friendly and works well with the animals. They remember my dog's name even though he doesn't go that often. We also use them for boarding our dog and cat when we are away on vacations and they do an excellent job. When I take my dog there and we turn on Kratky road the light bulb goes off in his dog brain and he gets very excited when he realizes where we are.
We were visiting from our of town and needed daycare for our dog. Kennelwood was great. It is a big facility with lots of outdoor and indoor space for the dogs. We also took care of bathing our dog while he was there and Kennelwood has a discount option for daycare if you do grooming ☺️ The staff was very friendly and good with our dog and we got a report from daycare and grooming when we picked him up. My only complaint was the check on process and check out process were not very good. Stations are not labeled well and I was rather frustrated with this situation. They need better communication and direction in this area. Overall it was a good experience and I would use them again
We’ve been bringing Ginger Wigglebutt, to the Watering Bowl for some time, and we can confidently say this is the best spot for dogs in St. Louis! The quality of care, the cleanliness of the location, and the overall atmosphere are unmatched. Ginger absolutely adores coming here—she knows all the staff by name (well, as much as a dog can!) and wiggles her way straight to them. The front-end customer service is phenomenal, always welcoming and kind, and they have an incredible way of putting anxious dogs (and owners) at ease. It’s clear how much they care about every pet that walks through the door. From the daycare to the boarding experience to the adorable Pawdecure we have always left feeling confident that Ginger is in the best hands. Thank you for being such a reliable, clean, and caring place for our furry family member. We wouldn’t go anywhere else! As you can see from the pictures our (and your) dog will leave happy and tired with all the fur and human interactions they will receive ❤️
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff at Watering Bowl Dog Grove! Over the past five years, they have consistently provided exceptional care for our beloved Dalmatian, Charlie. From the very first day we boarded her, it was clear that the team is not only incredibly friendly but also highly knowledgeable about dog care and behavior. Every time I drop Charlie off, I know she is in safe hands, and it brings me such peace of mind. The environment is always welcoming, and it's evident that the staff genuinely cares for each dog like their own. Charlie always comes home happy and well-exercised, and I can’t thank them enough for that! It's also great to see that they go above and beyond to accommodate all types of weather, ensuring our furry friends are still getting their playtime and socialization. Thank you, Watering Bowl Dog Grove, for being an amazing place for Charlie and for all the love and care you provide. We truly appreciate everything you do!
I’ve been bringing Mateo to The Watering Bowl for boarding since he was a puppy, and it has become his second home and family. The staff here has always been incredibly loving and attentive, making sure he’s happy and comfortable every time he stays. We’ve also worked with their trainer, Laura, and it’s been amazing seeing his confidence and happiness levels grow since starting daycare. Beyond the care they provide for Mateo, the staff has also become an extension of my own family. I’ve built friendships with them, and it’s clear that they care not only about Mateo but about me as well. I have complete peace of mind when I leave him here, knowing he’s in the best hands with people who truly understand and love him. I highly recommend The Watering Bowl to anyone looking for a safe, loving, and supportive environment for their pup!
The Watering Bowl is always convenient, easy and such a friendly staff. My dog thoroughly enjoys himself, makes friends and burns off most of his energy. I highly recommend the Watering Bowl for daycare and all the other services they offer.
I recently took my Airedale puppy, Winnie, to The Watering Bowl in Tower Grove, affectionately nicknamed "Dog Grove," and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming and clearly passionate about dogs. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and offers plenty of space for dogs to play and socialize. Winnie goes absolutely crazy with excitement whenever she walks through the door of that building because she is so excited to be back. The team at The Watering Bowl made sure she felt comfortable and engaged, providing her with lots of attention and care. I was particularly impressed with the detailed updates and photos they sent throughout the day, allowing me to see how much fun she was having. The boarding services are equally outstanding. When I needed to go out of town, I felt completely at ease leaving Winnie in their capable hands. The staff ensured she had a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I could tell she was well taken care of when I picked her up. Overall, The Watering Bowl in "Dog Grove" is a fantastic place for both daycare and boarding. Their dedication to the dogs' well-being and their excellent facilities make it a top choice for any pet owner. I highly recommend them!
Our dog has been a regular at The Watering Bowl Dog Grove almost from the point when we adopted him in 2019. We have had obedience class, we have boarded him, and he is also a regular at Monday daycare. The staff love him and he adores them. Within a couple of weeks of attending, he started recognizing landmarks on the way and wagging his tail like crazy as we got close. The staff are caring and responsive and also patient with his occasional quirks and sensitive to when he might need a break. The one time in years that we had a hiccup with scheduling logistics, management went above and beyond to make it right. They must have been scrambling since the facility maintenance at another site, but you would never know it in the staff’s demeanor and care. Our dog is a little guy - under 20 lbs with shortish legs - and I have always felt that he is safe and cared for even though he is sure in his own mind that the big dogs are his ideal playmates (they often are!) His weekly visits to the Watering Bowl make our guy a happier, healthier, well socialized pup and I always feel welcomed and cheered by meeting the staff. Oh! And they are also very talented photographers and videographers. They’ve taken some of the best pictures we have of him:) TWB is the Best!
The Dogs love going to The Watering Bowl. They are treated with kindness and love. They play all day with dog friends and come home extremely happy. We love the pictures and video they post as well.
My dogs always come back EXHAUSTED. I take them frequently to this location and the STP location. Staff is starting to know their quirks. They’re so thorough on the meet n greet (sniff around) more so than any day care I’ve ever brought them too. I shopped around the STL area and The Watering Bowl was the best I found. Also love you can go in their Facebook page and see pictures of your dogs!
If you love and care for you animals, please do NOT bring them here! My boyfriend went to an interview for a potential job at this Manchester location a bit ago. I planned on writing a review as soon as it happened, but it completely slipped my mind. After talking about the absolute disgusting and insane things witnessed with friends recently, I'd like to share it also to any customers who want to protect their pets. They did not hide the ways they abused the animals in the slightest the entire time he was there. The stories he told me made me genuinely sick to my stomach, and I couldn't fathom letting my dog go anywhere near here after. First off, these off-leashed doggy day cares are already extremely dangerous to begin with. Sure, maybe your dog is very well behaved around animals, but that doesn't guarantee that other pets there are. Dog fights occurred basically the entire time he was being interviewed. This is the real kicker. The employees do NOT know how to handle these dogs. They used BOOGIE BOARDS to hit the dogs when they aren't behaving. Yes, of course these dogs won't behave! They are in an enclosed space, off-leash, surrounded by other dogs. These employees will scream, hit, and push dogs. If they are doing all of this in front of a potential new hire, just imagine what they could possible be doing behind closed doors. Do NOT pay, what I'm sure is an outrageous price, to have your dogs neglected and hit here. After hearing this I needed to write a review to warn any pet parents are are either contemplating bringing their dogs here, or who might already. Consider taking them to a daycare with proper kennels, no off-leash play, and preferably sound proofing to prevent stress or the possibility of your dog being hurt. This business should be ashamed of themselves, and anyone who works there who is either participating in or complacent with the blatant animal abuse hidden behind closed doors.
My dog has been going here for a couple years now, after another location had to shut down temporarily because of summer storm flooding. I think he really enjoys it. He's excited to go to "school" and has definitely bonded with multiple folks on staff. Reservations are easy to make. The location has been really flexible with me. My dog does regular daycare a few times a week and is also boarded a few times a year. It may not be for every dog. But it's worked very well for my dog and for me.
The best doggie day care in St. Louis! Huge playground, friendly staff, and my pup is always excited and happy to go. So thankful for their care!
Started taking my pup here once a week when my obedience trainer recommended this local family-owned business. Sold already. He sleeps a good amount of the evening afterwards, so I know he gets a lot of playtime. They seem to really like my crazy Lou and I'm so glad he is in great hands!
Bax and Max are exhausted after their first day of doggy daycare. We cannot wait to go back every week! Everyone was so nice and helpful! Don’t listen to the 1 star “Karen reviews”, this place is very reasonable and the people are welcoming and caring! Def try them out!
Our two dogs have been going to Kamp K-9 for over 2 years. They absolutely love it and get so excited when they are going to play with their friends all day - and we love it since they come home worn out! Stacy and the rest of the crew are such a pleasure, really care about the dogs, and really know the dogs and their personalities. Their hours (6:30am-6pm) are such a huge benefit for us as well. HIGHLY recommend Kamp K-9!
My dog Finn loves it here. He is always so happy to go to daycare. At pickup, he always looks like he just had the best day ever. He has been discriminated against at other places because of his breed. Everyone at Kamp K9 treats him so kindly, just as they do all the dogs.
My dog gets so excited when I tell him we are going to doggy daycare. He can’t stop wagging his tail once we arrive. Kamp K9 was recommended to us by our dog trainer and we are not disappointed. My dog comes come happy and very tired!
Best Doggie Daycare in all of St Louis. The ladies of Kamp K9 take wonderful care with the dogs. They are the dog whisperers of Doggie Day Care. I know of horror stories of other daycare places. This place is so well managed, they don't have to split big dogs from Little dogs. My Italian Greyhound was scared of people when she first started here. She loves to play wit the big dogs and love the ladies of Kamp k-9. Now she is learning to like strangers too!
Most places turned down my dog due to crowding, Kamp K9 took him in with open arms. I can trust them with my dog ever single day and know nothing will go wrong. During events like birthdays, my dog sometimes comes home with a little goodie bag. Also, during other holidays I was given a mug with my dog on it and photos. I consider myself so lucky. Also, a costume contest for the pets on Halloween?! Count me in! So grateful and appreciative for Kamp K9...they will keep you updated if needed and give the pups so much entertainment such a pools, and little playground things.
Our dog goes to Kamp K9!! She Loves it there! She has made friends with other dogs. Plus she gets to use her energy which is very important when you are a young dog.
This by far is the WORST doggy daycare.... I needed some place safe and welcoming for my Bella. The manager Stacey and Jessica is by far the most disrespectful people I've came across in my life. They didn't afford me the chance to voice my concerns about my Bella before rasing their voices. They say pay attention to your child/ren to know something is wrong and in this case even though it's my dog she's still my baby and they were mistreating her because if they wasnt they wouldn't have been so quick to over talk me and be so dismissive about my concerns. VERY rude, unprofessional just down right HORRIBLE!!!!
We have had a great experience at this new location! The facility is great and the trainers offer amazing feedback on our pup. They were even able to accommodate a last minute boarding request when our daughter was hospitalized and sent her a ‘get well soon’ card - it was so thoughtful!
For anyone looking for a doggy daycare and/or boarding facility, I highly recommend Camp bow wow in Crestwood! I am impressed with how thorough they are with orientation, dog introductions, tours and how clean they keep their space. I know it’s only a month old, but I can tell they stay on top of cleanliness. More than anything I love that we have access to live video of our pups to see how they are doing throughout the day! I’ve been hesitant for years to take my dogs to a daycare because so many of them feel too crowded in a small space, but this facility has a good amount of space for a crowd of bigs dogs! They offer enrichment, training, baths, and grooming as well! I can tell the staff love spending time with the dogs. I’ll definitely continue taking my two fur babies there 🐾🐾 Tomorrow is their open house and pictures with santa! I highly recommend neighbors to check it out!
Love this place. My two younger dogs enjoy daycamp here multiple times a week. They always come home with the energy burned off and ready for dinner and cuddles. I also have used Abigail the groomer for my older border collie. She was so patient and kind and gentle with him. I can't imagine taking him anywhere else. The haircut also turned out exactly as requested!
My dog attends Camp Bow Wow Crestwood regularly and loves it. The staff are amazing and very knowledgeable. She comes home excited and exhausted. I can no longer say the word “camp” without her getting excited and looking for her lead.
Have used Camp Bow Wow in several locations where we have lived. This new location is among the best we have experienced. Other dog daycare facilities simply don’t compare to Camp Bow Wow and this one is best in class! Thank you for taking such good care on our pups!
My dog drags me to the door, she loves CAMP BOW WOW In Crestwood so clean staff is always friendly. When we walk into the door she forgets I exist. Cameras are great to see her during the day. Just a great place.
The only place I will ever bring my dog for day care and boarding. Extremely trustworthy staff and immaculate facility! So happy this place came to town!!!
Lobby was clean, staff was nice, they really love dogs and I felt comfortable leaving my dogs there after the evaluation process
Abby groomed my 12 year old Border Collie Timbre and I couldn't be more pleased with how he came out! She was sensitive to the fact he is older and has hip/joint issues and took her time to ensure his comfort was at the forefront of the whole process. The finished product is absolutely the best and exactly what I asked for. I could not more highly recommend someone to take care of your pup.
I recently had a chance to check out the new Camp Bow Wow in Crestwood. It looked amazing and smelled better than other boarding places I have been to. I love the fact that my kids will spend most of the day not in kennels. I am always looking for something better for my kids. This will be my new go to when I need to board.
I trust Happy Tails and my 2 large babies love going here. They are a 24/7 business not only looking out for your pets but also you. If they don't pick up on the first call, please wait and call back it due to all the amazing customers they are happy to serve that sometimes you have to call back or walk in. 5/5 recommend!
I have been using Happy Tails strictly for grooming for years. I cannot say enough about the stellar customer service. The people are what make Happy Tails so great. If you are considering using Happy Tails for any of their services, i highly recommend you do.
If only I could find a hair salon where I could be transformed like the Happy Tails groomers changed my Fergus! Perfect Welsh Terrier grooming every time. Kim is amazing! See our before and after pics.
I can’t say enough about how amazing this place is. My dog has gotten groomed here twice now and every single time I am beyond happy with how she comes out. CHLOE is such a sweetheart and so talented, she spoke with me about what we want and I felt so comfortable leaving my dog with her. My dog is usually shy but she came back like a new woman.
We left our dog with them perfectly healthy, he came back with a terrible limp on his back legs. Found out today he developed intervertebral disc disease and will be paralyzed the rest of his life. This develops from being dropped, or falling. We called Happy tails and their response is we’re not responsible for any injuries that happen during our care. BEWARE ABOUT LEAVING YOUR ANIMALS HERE!!!
My 8 month old puppy absolutely loves this place! We take her here 1-2 days a week, and she gets the socialization she needs. It is really nice to have someone else tire her out because she has boundless energy. They have also handled COVID safety measures very well.
Love everyone there! They have been so attentive to my puppy even tho we are not there every week!! The orientation was wonderful and my puppy loves everyone she has come in contact with! One day I left her for a little bit, been house hunting in the area and they were more than accommodating to take her for a short time. Thank you so much for the love you have shown to my big baby Daisey!!!
We have a 185 pound pain in the butt Malamute that is difficult to handle and groom. We were so lucky to have found Happy Tails because the staff always took care of our dog. The daycare options are phenomenal and allowed for flexibility with our late night schedules as well as last minute bookings. Our dog loved going to daycare and as soon as we’d turn onto Lindbergh he knew he was about to have the best day ever. He’d fight to get in the car and would cry when we’d leave. I am so grateful to Happy Tails and I hope one day they expand so we can go back again soon.
We love Happy Tails! I was impressed from our very first interview with how they made sure my dog was comfortable and reacted well with other dogs before allowing us to use the facility. It gives me peace of mind knowing all dogs in daycare or boarding have gone through the same interview process. Since then we have used daycare, boarding, bath and transportation services. Every time I pick my dog up she has the biggest smile on her face and I just know she had a blast playing! What I love about daycare is that I can call same day if I have an emergency and need to drop her off, and a really cool service they offer is pickup as well. We had a backyard wedding this summer with Cupcake as our flower girl and we scheduled a pickup for boarding that night so that she wouldn't get overwhelmed after the ceremony. Prompt, professional and kind! The driver let us finish our photos with her and then got her safely to boarding! Highly recommend Happy Tails! I feel like Cupcake is in good hands every time I drop her off.
Haven't been there yet my dog is still too young but will be there in March and we'll let everybody know my opinion... Update.. took my girl for her first haircut an she did great. So did the groomer. Will be back in 6 weeks to get her clipped again. Wonderful people an they did a GREAT JOB!!!!!
