Well what can I say about Alyson at Poochee Care ! She looked after our gorgeous cats recently, Daisy who is 21yrs & on medication & Poppy who is 16 yrs, diabetic & requires an insulin injection twice a day. We totally trust her & she is absolutely fanatical about the care she gave them & the importance of their needs. This is the second time she has cared for them & we have already booked her for our November holiday. She is trustworthy, caring & goes above & beyond to show how much she cares for animals, she know they are not just pets, they are family. We would not book anyone else as it takes a lot to leave our beloved cats as they are house cats, very spoilt & so loved. We cannot praise her enough & can highly recommend her. One tip for you all if you read this review, book her quickly as you wont find anyone else as good! Thank you Alyson, Angela, Gary, Daisy & Poppy.

Our Boston Terrier, Domino, has had three 'holidays' with Poochee Care. Domino loves Alyson, Mark and their family as much as her own. She is loved, pampered, indulged and cuddled. Alyson sends us regular photos so we can see how happy Domino is while we are away. Poochee Care provide more than 5 star service! They offer good value for money, are highly professional and 100% reliable. We can't recommend them highly enough.

My dog is 4 and its first time had to consider a boarder. I decided to get to know someone before I needed to use. That way I was happy more importantly the dog got chance to get to know boarder and the person looking after him got to know him. Poochee care ticked everybody. A meet and greet then a 2 hour visit. After that we decided on an afternoon then as it was a first time with staying we did a trial stay over. All went well so now it I need to leave my dog we are all happy. I would never and you should never just dump your dog and go. They are like children and poochee care understands that. Heres to a happy future. Thank you!

I am so thankful to have found Alyson of poochee care to take care of our boys while we are away. It really is a home from home bespoke service with regular photos, videos and updates we felt at ease knowing they were happy and content. However, I did expect a better reaction when I arrived to pick them up 🤦‍♀️ 😂 but it just proved to me that they had felt at home and so comfortable with the care they had received. I wouldn’t leave the boys with anybody else.

Would 100% recommend Alyson to any dog owner. She is incredibly thorough and takes great care of your dog with a settling in session before overnight stay. Milly had an amazing time with her and we will absolutely use her again in the future. Thank you again!

Alyson looked after my cockapoo for 8 days whilst I went abroad. Although Alyson had previously looked after Barney for a couple of nights, I was apprehensive leaving him for just over a week as this would be the longest time I’d left him. My concerns were completely alleviated by Alison’s regular updates with photos and videos showing Barney having a great time. Knowing Barney was receiving one on one care with such an experienced dog carer made such a difference. I highly recommend Alyson and her fantastic business which is unique offering solo home from home boarding care. Thank you from Barney and me 😃🐶.

We had a fantastic experience with Alyson. This was our puppy’s first night away from us and so wasn’t sure how she was going to react to this. Alyson put us at ease straight away, offering a short settling in visit a few weeks before her stay and keeping us updated with photos of how she was doing. Our puppy looked content and happy throughout her stay and when we picked her up the next morning she was her usual happy self. This made our trip away so much more enjoyable knowing she was being so well looked after and I will definitely be taking her back to Alyson in the future.

Alyson is fabulous, we are so lucky to have found such a reliable, lovely lady to help with our dog care. She started out by providing puppy visits which lead into regular weekly walks, really boosting our pups confidence & helping with her development. Alyson also provided a warm caring home when we went away on holiday, our puppy was just a few months old at the time. We received regular updates & photos to put our mind at ease. Poochee Care is our number 1 choice for home boarding and dog walking!

We decided to try home visits for our cat while we were on holiday rather than using an cattery and are really pleased we found Alyson. She came round to introduce herself and meet Lyra before hand and then visited every day to feed and play with her. She sent us regular updates and photos. Lyra was really well looked after by Alyson and so much happier staying in her own home than she would have been with the stress of going in a cattery. I would definitely recommend Alyson and use her services again.

This is the 3rd time Carrie has looked after my little Teddy boy and this is the best place for him while we're away. Carrie sends us multiple photos and videos of teddy's adventures while he's there. They go on lots of walks everyday and Carrie has become his 2nd mum. It's so nice to go away knowing Teddy will be having an even better time than us so I never have to worry about him. Would highly recommend to everyone

So pleased that we found Carrie to have our dogs. One of our dogs had separation anxiety, so much, that other boarders wouldn't take her. Was dreading the same happening again, but Carrie was brilliant with her, and our other dog, who had no issues. Carrie said they would have a ball, and she was right !! Daily videos and pictures, showing how happy and settled the dogs were. We were able, for once, to relax on our holiday 100% knowing they were getting loads of love, attention and lovely daily walks. They were treated as part of Carrie's family. We will definitely use Carrie for all our holidays now . In fact, already booked for next year. I highly reccomend her.

Amazing 5*! Would highly recommend Carrie and her family. They made Alfie feel a part of the family and loved and cared for him exceptionally, during our recent holiday. I was kept uptodate with very frequent photographs and videos giving us complete piece of mind whilst away. Carrie and her family welcomed our two dogs into their home over the Christmas period. From the first communication with Carrie we found her to be very professional and friendly. During the stay we had a constant stream of photographs and videos as updates, it was was wonderful to see how our furbabies were doing and it was obvious that they had the best care and attention while we were away. It is plain to see that Carrie and her family are true animal lovers. Carrie is extremely knowledgeable and caring and we feel so fortunate to have found her to look after our dogs. I can wholeheartedly recommend this service to anyone looking for home boarding services or dog walking.

Our boys stayed with Carrie while we were on our honeymoon. We had never left them but soon realised that they were in good hands. They had THE BEST time and were like part of the family. We were updated daily with walks and lovely photos which we loved. Thank you, our boys had a blast!! Xx

With an "older" 7 year old dog, I am always anxious about how my collie will settle in with a new dog sitter. On first meeting Carrie, I was put at ease on how Henry would be treated, and I could see he felt at home immediately. We left him for a weekend, and Carrie send loads of updates such as the attached photo, I really enjoyed seeing how much of a good time he had, and he really was treated as part of the family. I can't think Carrie and her family enough for looking after him and I'm sure Henry is looking forward to many more visits in the future!

My girls love going here, they are part of the family when they stay and I get up to date photos and videos of all their adventures, I honestly wouldn’t let them go anywhere else

It was the first time for us to board our cockapoo puppy Ziggy so we were very anxious. Carrie reassured us that Ziggy would have a fab time and would settle in. Ziggy is very mischievious and Carrie must have had loads of patience. It was lovely having daily photos and videos keeping us informed. We could see that Ziggy had a blast and made new friends. This allowed us to chill and enjoy our holidays. It was obvious that Carrie loves dogs and is very knowledgeable. We will definitely be booking Ziggy with Carrie again. I would highly recommend Carrie as your pets are treated as part of their family.

Honestly 5 stars isn’t enough! Friends for pets Cwmbran are absolute angels in anoraks! My sassy schnauzer loves his days with his furry pals and auntie Tracy or Auntie Sam, he gets so excited when I say their names and he gets even more excited when he here’s the van coming into the road! Our Ralph stayed with them for almost a week and he had the best time. We got daily updates as well as pictures and videos. We saw that he went on plenty of adventures and even learned a new dance! We could not recommend them enough and I know that Ralph cannot wait to go back :)

Fantastic all around! Gutted we didn’t come across Marie at Lead on sooner, Marie has gone above and beyond to help us feel relaxed and gave us daily updates- pictures/videos of our dog. Marie took our dog out exploring the local area and visited forests and other scenic places exposing our dog to new excited environments. It was his first time in boarding and we were anxious leaving him but honestly I can not find a fault with the service that Lead on provides it is amazing! Marie was extremely professional and was super friendly and went out of her way to make sure our dog was relaxed and comfortable in her care. Marie was able to train our dog just in 2 days to do multiple tricks and showed us how to continue these with him at home. Our dog returned home happy, relaxed and trained. Thanks so much 5⭐️

Lead on is an amazing service ! My doggy Oliver and Izzy have all be treated as on Marie on family ! They always love forward seeing hear and always come back happy ! She treat them all family ! They have free run home with loverly and my doggy even had a cup of tea with they love ! U trying the rest now try the best ! She never let now ! Love animal ! Care caring ! Absolutely brilliant. My golden retriever was almost hesitant to leave and come home! Marie kept us up to date by sending pictures and telling us all about what they have been up to. They went on several walks and kept busy. 100% recommend this dog sitter, they will give your pet a blast!

My baby girl Mitzy has just returned from a couple of days boarding with Lead On. She had a ball and I was kept fully up to date with all their activities via photos and videos. Some are attached. Mitzy is a 15 year old shih tzu and was so well looked after. I am already looking at the diary for my next work travel dates to book her back in. Done the reactive rascals course with Marie today, she provided great knowledge in depth about reactive dogs. I highly recommend people to sit this course, with lead on and get the proper training by someone who is qualified and experienced in this feild.

I couldn’t recommend this company highly enough. Marie is reliable, caring and very trustworthy. She has never let me down and always fits me in at very short notice. My tortoise and cat adore her and to them she is part of the family. She goes above and beyond on a regular basis and I would be lost without her! Thank you so much for everything!

Our young Sprocker is an anxious boy and we're very fussy about who we're prepared to leave him with. Marie and her husband took such good care of him and he had a great time with them - long walks, learning new tricks (for treats of course!) and plenty of cuddles. We got lots of photos and film clips sent to us during the weekend so that we were reassured that he was enjoying his stay. Marie was also very accommodating about the fact that we couldn't give a precise time for picking him up until the day of our return. Highly recommended.

I can’t recommend Lead On’s services enough. My dog Poppy had an overnight stay for the first time recently and she absolutely loved it. Marie is wonderful with dogs and you can tell she really loves them and treats them like one of the family. It’s a real home from home experience and I felt completely comfortable leaving Poppy there. I had constant updates via photos and videos of her stay and that reassured me further on how happy Poppy was. I’ve already booked Poppy in for further stays as I wouldn’t use anyone else now. Cannot recommend enough. My rescue springer was so timid and aggressive towards other dogs when we first had her. Since attending Doggy Daycare with Glen and his pack she is a completely different dog. She plays with the pack and when I walk her now she can be trusted with other dogs, and she listens too. I cannot thank Glenn enough. Amazing ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ your only regret is not giving your dot time with Glenn!!! X

Our puppy 8 month old spaniel has changed completely having been going to Glenn for the last few months. He was 4.5 months when we first took him and needed recall training. He was soon recalling like a dream, he loves it if he hasn’t been for a few days he’ll come find his day care rucksack and wait by the door. It’s to cute - Glenn is patient, consistent and kind and has a natural way with dogs they respect him and he respects them. Wouldn’t send our pupster anywhere else. It’s not doggy day care quick walk and food. It’s a family pack... 🐾🐾🐾

I've been training two pups, mostly from my own research & trial n error. However, when it came to lead training no matter how long I tried I couldn't crack it. I could sense my frustration having an impact on the pups and our walks. Glenn was brilliant. Such a calm nature and the pups were literally eating out of his hands. Within an hour he taught me how reduce pull on a lead as well as promote position whilst on a lead. I spent the day practicing what I'd learnt and was relieved to see positive results so quickly. Glenn is everything I aspire to be. The time spent with him is priceless. Highly recommended

Spectacular results with our German Shepherd. Comes back each Wednesday a happy, and calm dog who clearly benefits from being with the pack and an excellent trainer. Would highly recommend.

We have been using Sam and the team at Friends for Pets' services since 2020 for our Tilly. We trust that Tilly is well looked after and regularly book her in to have half day adventure daycare, as well as hour long walks and overnight boarding. Tilly absolutely loves Sam and gets so excited to go out with her for her walks. We really appreciate the above-and-beyond care that Tilly receives. We especially appreciate that she comes home clean, despite all of her rolling and making it her mission to get 'absolutely stinking'! We get to see photos and videos of Tilly with her doggy pals when out on walks. We highly recommend Sam, Tracey and the Friends for Pets team, they are really fantastic.

We couldn’t be happier that we found Friends for Pets! After trying several dog walkers in the area, I’m confident in saying they’re the best, hands down! It’s so evident that our dog Lucy loves her adventure walks. Plus I get to see photos and videos of what she’s been up to while I’ve been at work. It’s so reassuring to know that she’s in safe hands. Friends for Pets (Newport) are simply the best! Their love, devotion and care for their work is exceptional. My Mini Myla has the best time with Auntie Tracy and the other dogs in her care on their adventure daycare walks; and whenever I go on holidays I know Tracy provides a home from home for Myla too, in fact Tracy spoils her more than we do!!!! Meet Sam and Tracy, the dynamic duo of serenity for humans and pure joy for four-legged pals. Rain or shine, they're the guardians of our little princess and her furry comrades, even if it involves a strategic bed scoop (or two, who's counting? 🤪). Distance can't dampen the delight of daily updates, and as for those envy-inducing Welsh walks, well, gratitude kicks in when the weather report includes more rain than rays! ☺️ Thank you for being there for all of us.

Sam and Tracy are absolutely brilliant with moo, she can be quite a nervous girl but I have never seen her be anything but ecstatic to leave with them, they are brilliant and seeing all the fun she has on her walks with the videos they share with all the pup parents are awesome, we absolutely adore them both!

We use Sam to walk our 8 year old Cavachon, George! She and Tracey are absolutely brilliant and George loves his time with them. He does like to sniff out the dreaded fox poo but he always comes back clean! Photos of the walk are uploaded on social media so that you can see the whole pack walking together. I highly recommend their services, nothing is ever too trouble. Thank you, friends for pets!

Sam and her team (Tracey takes our dog Rosie) have been outstanding since we were lucky enough to find them! They take Rosie out twice a week on an adventure walk. Tracey is friendly and reassuring especially as Rosie is quite nervous when meeting new people. Tracey takes her to different places and posts updates and videos. It's wonderful seeing what a fabulous time she's been having. Rosie has become rather anti social since going out with Tracey as she's so tired of an evening she has her dinner then takes herself to bed for the rest of the night! What a find, thank you Sam and Tracey!!!

Sam is absolutely wonderful, not just with our two dogs but a wonderful caring person and we are so pleased we found her to help us with walking times and separation work. Sam, Tracey and Maria are such an amazing team. In six months Ted has gone from being a nervous pup who didn’t want to be away from his mum for a one hour socialisation walk, to a super excited dog who cannot wait to get out the door for a full day of adventure daycare! The team are so caring and really listen to your dogs quirks and needs and treat them as if it’s their own. They have helped so much with Ted’s confidence and separation issues. I highly recommend them!

I have a Doberman puppy with severe separation anxiety, I contacted Ben who introduced us to the lovely Laura who has been walking and sitting with my pup for a good few months now & I could not recommend this company and its employees enough, they go above and beyond to provide 5+ star service! They are all so friendly, kind & compassionate and above all put the needs of your animal first! They’ve also provided me with a lot of support through the struggles of my dog’s separation anxiety and more training than I could’ve imagined! No request is too big or too small for these guys and always have a solution for everything! Absolutely brilliant 🤩

Had PAWSitive Pet Sitting &Dog Walking look after my two boys Bertie and Basil. They were fantastic, it was reassuring to see daily photos of what they were up to. Special dietary needs were taken care of and both my dogs were able to stay in their home environment rather than go into kennels. Ben is a lovely guy and really reliable. We left him to care for our 2 cats while we went away for a little holiday. Throughout our trip we had daily updates and pictures which was really reassuring. The little touches also add up, Ben will open and close the blinds, collect mail, water plants, put the bins out, to name a few. These small touches really made us feel comfortable while away. We would 100% recommend this service, so much so we have more bookings with Ben for layer in the year :)

Brilliant service, very friendly & caring. PAWSitive cat sit for me when I go away, everyday twice a day morning & night he feeds & gives my cat attention for half an hour before leaving. My cat is very relaxed with the sitter. Yes I would definitely recommend.

Sadly I have a nervous dog that I informed the walker of before any walk was conducted. Now after only 2 1 hour walks they have decided they no longer want to walk my dog which i guess us thwre right but given they have a diploma in behavioural training I was hoping they would help but, instead, they have blamed my dog for making the other dogs misbehave which think is a bit off . I am gutted but we move on

Where do I start? Becky has allowed me to relax while I'm away from my puppy at work. I fully relax and trust her as I know how much Walter loves seeing her. Becky has followed all my intense training and commands and it definitely shows as when I get home Walter is so well behaved. I highly recommend Becky. She listens and follows through and cares for him like he is her own. Becky is a very lovely woman too. ☺️ I will use her doggy services forever now. ❤️

Becky has been walking my dog since July this year, to begin with was very satisfied with my walks. I left my previous dog walker as Becky stated her walks start from the moment she starts walking with my dog which my previous walker didn’t (plus Becky was half the price). Every time my dog was taken out he was brought back early, half hour early sometimes when I’m paying for an hour. After I left a good review and Becky found out I had a camera in the house to watch my dog whilst he is alone (always had it from before Becky started walking him) things felt different. I got the impression that she no longer wanted to walk my dog. I payed a day or 2 late a few times but ALWAYS paid for the week in advance. The one time I forgot to pay before his walk she cancelled our agreement without any warning and said she will no longer be walking my dog. Even though I was made to sign an agreement that myself and Becky had to give a weeks notice for termination of agreement. The same day she locked herself out my house with my dog and couldn’t get back in (I was in work no where near my house so that was stressful), brought another dog into my home (very bad idea as my dog can be snappy with other dogs at the best of times and has never had another dog in my home so not sure how he would react?) all because my driveway was taken up to which Becky confirmed she would not take on a dog which didn’t have a driveway? which is ridiculous if you ask me. Excuse after excuse and very disappointed with the service.

Becky is very professional and you can just tell she loves and cares for the dogs in her care! She has recently taken on our 6 month old puppy and we feel safe and confident leaving him in her care! She provides updates/photos and videos whilst looking after Lenny and it’s such a nice touch! I would 100% recommend Becky, a brilliant service and Lenny loves his time with her!

A professional and reliable service: Becky was recommended to us by Wilson’s Mum (see Becky’s Facebook posts about her work with that adorable hound). Our Labrador, Millie, and our special needs Greyhound, Flynn, had the pleasure of her company at lunchtime whilst we were away on holiday. I understand that Millie power walked Becky on the first occasion, but Becky soon turned that around! Perhaps dog and owner training would be the natural next step for Becky, as we can’t get Millie to walk like a lady no matter how hard we try! We look forward to working with Becky Happy Tails again. I’d wag my tail, if I had one!

I would love to write a essay on how impressed I am at the professionalism and care shown to our dog which was looked after for 8 nights. Lots of walk and play made for a lovely time for her. If you want to be sure that your dog is in the best place possible then there is no where else to consider. We highly recommend Becky both for her professional approach and for her obvious love of dogs. She walks Katy who is disabled and is on wheels. She has also developed a relationship with Cauli who is very nervous and reactive dog. Very happy with the service.

I took my 4 month old Rottweiler to visit Becky and her husband at their house and instantly everything felt right.. the environment was lovely and homely, everything is done methodically and professionally (in terms of looking after the dogs, when they go out, what dogs are suitable with others etc.) but at the same time so relaxed and laidback. I received pictures/updates throughout the day. When I collected pup I could tell she was happy and by her eyes closing she’d had a very stimulating day. I was given all possible information about her day and since being home she has been flat out asleep..much to my joy! From being professional to caring to being wonderful people it’s 5* from me and I know my pup will enjoy her weekly visits for the upcoming future!

Highly recommend the Dog Spa. Picked up Flora this morning after her 2nd stay here and she was so happy. The staff are so friendly and Flora was all over them which shows she's thoroughly enjoyed her time there again. She is a cardboard chewer and they ensured she had a regular supply 🤣🤣. Knowing that our fur babies are enjoying their holidays means we can relax and enjoy ours. Thank you Dog Spa.

We visit the dog spa regularly for hip dysplasia treatment. This consists of two hydrotherapy sessions a week and one physiotherapy session. All of the staff are absolutely wonderful. Mylo is extremely nervous in this type of environment and they are doing absolutely everything they can to make him comfortable. Its incredible to see his anxiety decrease as we go more often, he's only been going for 2 weeks but it's already changed him for the better. Thank you The Dog Spa!!

My labrador Nala went to her first Hydro Therapy session at The Dog Spa today. (Hip dysplasia treatment). Norah was absolutely amazing with her. I highly recommend this place. Thank you so much for making my girl feel welcome and at ease.

Not for me really but fantastic for my hound. Burt is a real gentleman made my dog feel at ease.

Great staff, very knowledgeable and treated my dog as if he was their own, made me feel relaxed about leaving him there again if/when I need too

Fab place great layout, beds have heated lamps, plenty of room to run around even when they are in cages, they cater for your dogs need, feeding times ect. Will definitely be using again ☺️

Just been to take our dog for his first physio with Denise, we were very happy, she was very good with our dog, he was relaxed, she explained things well & has given us exercises to do at home. he's booked in next week for physio & hydrotherapy. Would recommend.

Wonderful place to board your furry friend for the holidays. My two quite nervous dogs strain on the leash to go in and return home happy and settled. Possible option of a bath and groom too! Highly recommended.

Great little business offer kennel service, training, doggy health treatments and a little shop lovely staff. Nothing to much trouble and great advise from a very knowledgeable seasoned dog lovers, these guys have so many awards including crufts.

Michelle took great care of our two cats while we were away on holiday for a week. She fed and watered them, cleaned the litter trays, let them in and out of the house and spent time playing with them. Excellent service!

Michelle is a very reliable and caring person who clearly loves animals. I feel totally secure and happy leaving my cat Wolfie in her capable hands when I go away on holiday. She spends time with Wolfie, playing his favourite catch game with him and that's just what he needs when I'm not around. Michelle writes a very detailed report about Wolfie which I love to read it when I get back. I know she takes excellent care of him. Michelle will water your plants, and bring in your refuse bins if you request that. Michelle is an absolute treasure and I don't know what I'd do without her. I would highly recommend using her to look after your pet..

Amazing care for our cats. They love the fuss she makes of them. Michelle always looks after our house too & gets the important milk in for us after our holidays.
