Jeff and Norma were so great from start to finish. They kept us informed of their arrival plans and kept the house immaculately. In fact, we arrived back to freshly baked cupcakes (which my boys tell me are AMAZING - I am yet to cave in to temptation!) and freshly laundered and folded sheets. They kept us informed of everything and sent us regular updates and pictures of our dog. He looked so happy and has definitely made some friends by the time we returned. In fact, I think he has been pining for them since!! Thank yiu

Resourceful Competent Kind
Kate was totally reliable in every respect. She came when she said she would, and left when she said she would. To facilitate her and our departure she came and stayed the night before and we spent a very pleasant eveing together. She was good at sending us photos of and reports regarding our dogs, a matter very close to the heart of dog owners deserting their dogs for any prolonged period! Either or both unexpectedly came into season during our absence, and she coped well with that, hopefully avoiding any illicit and unwelcome liaisons with the boys in the area ! Despite dreadful wet weather she coped well with the house and left it looking very neat and tidy. She even washed bedding and towels which I didnt expect, but was a welcome reduction of the post holiday chores. I did put her in touch with couple of my local friends as coming to a new area can be lonely if you are a sole sitter and I think she became interested in activities going on here as much as time allowed. We would be very happy if she were to return when we need further housesitting. We certainly had no doubts about her reliability during her stay

We cannot thank Jenny and Glynn enough for the care they took of Tui and our home, enabling us to have a wonderfully relaxed trip. They are utterly professional whist being lovely warm friendly people. Efficient, calm, organised, tidy, considerate, we could not have left our home and precious dog in better hands. Nothing phased them.( tree down in the storm). Jenny cooked us a lovely lunch before we left and then left the most delicious supper on our arrival home. They were packed and left after handing over leaving us to settle back in. They sent lovely photos and news of Tui ( who had a wonderful time and was beautifully looked after). It was a pleasure to get to know them and we look forward to keeping in touch. Thank you Jenny and Glynn!

Pets 'R Us : a professional, reliable couple who will love your pets
We were very happy to welcome Susan and Peter back to our place for a second sit. Our usually very shy cat remembered Susan and was happy to see her again, we were able to get away stress free. When we returned we found everything beautifully clean and tidy and one very happy cat. There was an incident where our boiler failed and required attention from the technician. Fortunately Susan is able to speak French and had the problem solved within 24 hours. Susan and Peter made a (very entertaining) video on how to do a boiler reset, which we greatly appreciate! We would highly recommend Susan and Peter as house and pet sitters, they are reliable and trustworthy and communicate extremely well and we would welcome them back here in the future.

Mature Experienced animal owners looking to love and care for your animals
we can only tell good things about Rowena and Paul. Comunication went smoothly. They only contacted us when necessary and to send pictures and videos of our fury friends. The house was really clean when we arrived (although we told them they didn't need to clean up anything). But most importantly they have a very good knowledge of animals and are really good with them. When we arrived back home ofcourse the animals were excited to see us but also very relaxed. We could notice they had had a good time with them. I would recommend them 100% and would love them to come back for housesitting next time we are going on holidays.

I couldn't have asked for lovelier sitters than Eva & Guillaume. Their calm, happy energy meant my two boys were soon totally comfy and relaxed with their company. Eva sent me a little highlight video at the end of each day which had me smiling seeing how happy my animals were in their company and meant I could enjoy every minute of my time away with my family knowing all was going well at home. Adventurous pet-loving Student
Eugenie looked after our cat Casey while we were away for a long weekend. Communication beforehand was smooth and once Eugenie had arrived in Lund we received a daily update which was much appreciated. On return, the apartment was very clean. We did not get the chance to meet Eugenie as we left before she arrived and vice versa at the end of our trip, but everything went very smooth and I would not hesitate to recommend Eugenie as a sitter.

Chase The Sun, Feel The Freedom And The Fun
Kelvin was a Godsend! I was coming and going from home to England , and Italy and Kelvin settled in so well. as he is such a tough athlete with his bike and running shoes, he would sprint,walk or cycle the 7kms to my garden to feed Tom,Gingernuts and Tigger and the 2 baby tortoises now in their garden pen. He is very self sufficient and explored the Hérault valley on his bike. Very calm, very quiet we would be able to work alongside each other in my office area or upstairs living area. Stan was very smitten by Kelvin and for that I was always grateful. I would love him to return one day!

Kendra was a great cat sitter to Genepi and she truly is a cat whisperer. Genepi usually takes 4 days to make friends with a new person but she came out and made friends with Kendra Day 1! Kendra regularly sent wonderful videos and pics of Genepi purring happily. The apartment was neat when we returned and our garden was blossoming. Wow, what a find Justin is! I feel as though I won a lottery. As I was revelling in the communication we were having during his stay, I looked over his profile and realized either that he had updated it during his stay OR I never even read it. I was so impressed with his initial application that described multiple stays taking care of cats in Turkey that I knew he was going to be a great choice. So I'm not sure that I even read his profile or reviews. Turned out...he was more than I could have EVER hoped for. Justin is VERY organized and clear with his communication. Just as--or maybe more--important, he is a poster child for what zeewoi can be: more than just an economical way to get a pet sitter or a place to stay. Justin embraces the barter economy and the opportunity it presents to get to know people. Although we only met the day that I turned the house and my 2 cats over to his care, we had delightful communication throughout his stay. He wanted to be sure he was providing the right care to all living and non-living elements of my home as well as just chat beyond what we'd had an opportunity to cover when we were face to face on the handoff day. Bottom line: I'd have Justin back even if I wasn't going anywhere! I've met a friend. And my neighbors did as well! Oh yes, and my two cats were well looked after, the house was in ship shape, and Justin was able to brief the next sitter in person (I'd had to extend my time away and Justin already had another commitment). To say I felt confident leaving my pets and home in Justin's care is an understatement. Justin is a real adventurer and believer in the power of both human and animal connection. Angel was absolutely the best house sitter we could have hoped for. She is a very warm, open and diligent person and our two cats adored her. She looked after our house and garden with really conscientious care. She won over our very timid cat, Billie, and sent regular photos of both cats looking supremely content which gave us perfect peace of mind. The house was completely spotless on our return and the garden was fabulous... no mean feat since there was a heatwave while we were away and she kept everything watered and in great condition. We would have Angel back at the drop of a hat and cannot recommend her highly enough.

Paige, David, and family were WONDERFUL sitters for my crew! They were so pleasant and personable, and the pets warmed up to them very quickly. Even my rescue cat who tends to stray away from men loved David. I received regular updates and communication (before and during the sit). I truly did not have any concerns while I was away knowing that everyone had such great care and attention given to them. (I know the dogs had a good time because when I came home there was no commotion over my return.) I was away on NYE and Paige had no issues keeping an eye on one of the dogs who has anxiety surrounding loud noises. The family cleaned up after themselves and may have left the house cleaner than when I left! Truly such a great family who I would welcome back any time!

Kathryn was such nice and kind sitter that both of my boyfriend and me were grateful to have, including my cats!! My cats seemed having great time with her, being around her, chilling on couch with her, or even sitting on her. I got several photos of my cats from her with whort updates. I’m thankful that she let me do facetimes with her when I missed my cats. The house was clean and tidy when we came back. I definately will ask her again to sit my cats and house when I need. We couldn't have asked for better sitters than Pares and Mark. Since our initial contact, it was straightforward to communicate with Pares. We were lucky enough to get a chance to meet Pares with our dog Luna, and Luna got along with her immediately. During our time away from home, she kept us informed about how both our dog and cat were doing, and they were both cuddling with her since the first day. We got a lot of pictures and knew that they were safe and happy. The apartment was exactly as we had left it when we came back. Pares and Mark even ran the dishwasher and the washing machine for us. We couldn't have asked for a better sitter, and it made our trip very easy knowing they were taken care of so well. We'd have Pares and Mark back to our home without any hesitation.

Karen was an extraordinary house and pet sitter who I hope to invite back again soon. You would be extremely fortunate to have her take care of your pets and home. From the very beginning she radiated calmness, knowledge, caring and curiosity. We had a great initial conversation where Karen answered questions I didn't even know I should be asking, and asked excellent questions so she could be prepared and understand the special needs for both my cat and home. She flew into my city the day before I was leaving and stayed at a nearby hostel so that we could meet in person and do a walk through of my home. They say pets have an intuitive nature about people, and I knew Karen would be a winner when my normally very shy/nervous cat came right up and let her pet him. Karen sent wonderful pictures and updates while I was gone and asked questions when she wasn't sure about something. When I returned home everything was spotless and my cat was content.
