We are always very happy, reassured and relaxed when the two sit our house and cat. We know that everything works 100% in accordance with our ideas. They always are extremely reliable, uncomplicated and leave the house in an extremely tidy and clean condition, which we greatly appreciate. Two Sitters in search of happiness, satisfaction, peace and the urge to explore.
This was the second time Oliver and Isobell have sat for our three dogs. They stayed in our home two years ago and did such an amazing job we had them come back knowing we could trust them to do another brilliant job of looking after our precious girls despite a few changes with their feeding and care. This they willingly did. Our oldest is now 13 and needed a bit more time and patience as she had daily physio exercises for her hips, plus shorter walks etc. that they happily followed. The girls loved them so much. They sat for ages looking down our lane, waiting for them to return after they said goodbye. We would have Oliver and Isabell back in a heartbeat. Vaso was an excellent sitter for Freida and Floki. Before the sit, there was plenty of communication regarding travel plans and pet care. While Floki is outgoing, Freida is a little shy. Freida immediately warmed up, demanding pets and cuddles. Freida is getting old and required medication during the sit, along with getting weighed daily. Vaso had no problem giving Freida her medication. I received daily updates and videos. My apartment was clean and tidy when I returned. I highly recommend Vaso to pet sit, would gladly have again. 10 Stars! 😊

"A relaxing and long time away from home made possible by the best pet & house sitters we could have asked for!" Judy and Steph went the extra mile over their entire one month stay at our home. Both our cats became fast friends thanks to the care and dedication provided for them. We were routinely updated with spectacular photos of our furry girls throughout our leave that helped us be anxiety-free the entire time. Even our older shy cat spent time sleeping on their laps or hanging out on shoulders. As for the house, Judy and Steph left it even cleaner than when they arrived! We had a few tasks to maintain the lawn and potted plants outside, which were completed perfectly. They even tended to our vegetable garden where needed! During a 'risk of severe hail storm' alert, Judy and Steph kept us in the loop and went even further to place potted plants under shelter out of harms way. In summary, we recommend Judy and Steph and would happily have them return again if our schedules cross paths.

I'm delighted to have found Lisa as a sitter and hope to have her back again! She was detail oriented and clearly cared about my cats' well being. She asked good questions about the cats' routines and needs and about the house to be sure she'd meet my expectations and have a comfortable and successful sit. I was helping my father Steven (whose profile it is) manage all the emails + try + find a great house sitter + came along Gretchen’s profile! Not only is she a cool cat + someone you might want to get to know, I found myself quickly talking to her. I shortly found out her profile is just a glimpse of how interesting she is but talking to her was so much better! She is a world traveler with many experiences + stories to share. We quickly became conversationalists who could talk forever + probably will continue to do so! Thank you TH! She is easy to communicate with + continued the consistent communication all along our journey of having her as our *first* guest after my mom’s passing. It was clearly a time filled with anxiety + sensitivity so there were some sensitive topics to go over + Gretchen got it right away. A few of our rooms in the house were off-limits (as they housed my mom’s things) but we reassured her the house has ample space for her to enjoy + there are many lovely outdoor spaces to boot! When she arrived she felt she was in paradise + really relished in the outdoor beauty + the indoor coziness. We were happy to share it with someone who appreciated it so much! She also was very understanding with the fact that both my dad + I would both be involved as we both handled different parts of the stay. Me, writing + setting up the Welcome Guide + would go over the situation but then upon her arrival my dad would take over + answer any questions mostly during her sit. The good part of having 2 people is she had accessibility to us both, in the case she needed it + sometimes it came up! She juggled all the communication oh so well. My mom usually handled most of the logistics so this being our first time we were nervous something would come up we might not know but it didn’t! It was new territory for us + we wanted to make sure she had everything. Gretchen handled it all with such ease, seamlessly, really respecting our wishes/desires + taking all the information into her hands + making it seem easy on her end to do so. She was easy to coordinate schedules with! There was a gap in her 1st + 2nd sit but everything went seamlessly even when my flight had a day long delay. She was able to coordinate schedules with me arriving in between, then leaving, my dad arriving different days + us extending the trip too. It all worked out! We were all a good team! She absolutely loved our older cat, Benny + he fast + furiously fell in love with her oh so easily. When I saw him, he looked oh so loved + after saying hi to me went over to ‘her’ bed + slept there waiting for her to come back. She sent many pictures, videos + even cute creations + toys she made for our Benny + it was obvious the house + our Benny were her first priority. She even asked us if she could help prune our flowers/shrubs, something my mom used to do + honestly it was an honor to hear her ask that. She was welcome to set up her art studio + play away. She was very communicative when our house cleaner, landscape gardener + house manager showered up for different reasons. When I arrived back for a short stint before she came back the 2nd time our mail was so well organized it was an assembly line! She also offered to take down our xmas tree (as we were a bit behind in taking down our xmas decorations) + she was sensitive to the fact that we were adjusting to a new normal. Thank you so much Gretchen! You made our first sit in a long time so seamless + such a relief that we are ready now to host again. We only wish we could have more Gretchen’s! (She’s also a super talented artist!) Written by Steven: Overall, Gretchen has been an absolute treasure. She has fulfilled our goals for a house sitter perfectly - she took good care of the house, great care of our treasured pet, Mr. Benny + took care of the grounds such as watering a few plants + trees. Young was the perfect house sitter for us. From the moment you meet her, you can tell she is animal person and is detailed oriented and will take great care of your house and pets. She exudes a peaceful and grounded energy. She was comfortable with each our pets from the high energy dog to the shy skittish cat. She played with the dog in the yard every day and took him on walks. And she was also very attentive to our cats and figured out how to maintain the equilibrium in the relationship between the cats and dog. She is an excellent communicator; she asked questions when our directions weren't clear and kept us updated on the pets. She is also an amazing photographer. She sent us pics of our pets every day that totally captured each of their personalities.

Hannah and Joseph housesat our three kitties for a week and a half while we were traveling for the holidays. They were very communicative and conscientious. We received daily updated on our cats with cute and funny pictures. When they noticed our 17yo cat, Amber, wasn’t eating very much, they let us know and we were able to resolve the problem quickly. They were also very resourceful and understanding when we ran out of some cat supplies. Hannah and Joseph took great care of the house. Everything was very clean and tidy when we arrived back, and we had a short time to get to know them on our arrival. We would be fortunate to find more house sitters like them, and would of course love to have them back in the future! We wish Hannah and Joseph luck in their travels!

Daniel and Vasylyna were incredible house sitters and we would welcome them back to sit for us again any time they are available! They were fantastic communicators, making sure to work out details far in advance and they sent frequent picture updates of our animals which made us so happy while we were away. When the power went out in the neighborhood while they were here leading to a technology issue with our alarm system, they handled everything well. Upon our return, the house was clean, the garden was thriving and well cared for, and our dog and cat were clearly very loved while we were away - in fact our dog was sooooo sad to see them leave! I had the pleasure of getting to know them a bit before I left, and they are such a kind, adventurous, and great couple. I would highly recommend having Daniel and Vasylyna take care of your house, plants, and animals!

We can not exaggerate the care and love Juliet and Laurent gave to our cat, Piero, during his the last few weeks of life. While we left for our trip thinking he merely had a bladder infection, his symptoms turned for the worse a weeks into their sit and later revealed he had cancer. No one would wish their sitter to need to hospice their cat but Juliet and Laurent showed such compassion for Piero and volunteered to be with him when we made the decision to put him down. It was an emotional time for all of us and we will be forever grateful to our two caring cat and house sitters. We have had many fantastic housesitters through zeewoi but Juliet and Laurent top the list. Their professionalism, constant communication and compassion were exceptional. Should you have the opportunity to have them in your home, do not hesitate to book them, you will have no regrets. We do, however, regret that they had such a short time with Piero and had to experience such a painful event.

Florence is everything you want in a cat sitter! We have two cats that need a lot of human attention. One takes multiple medications twice a day and they both are used to eating on their own schedule and having people around so it is always very important to us to find a pet sitter that will be spending a lot of time in the apartment and that doesn't mind being very attentive. We were able to meet Florence before our trip and felt 100% confident that she would take great care of our cats. Florence is comfortable giving medication, she sent us photos and updates and left our apartment spotless. We were so happy that we had her come back the following week when we went away again for a short trip! We will definitely contact Florence again whenever we travel and hope that she is available!

Tonya was great and filled in after our other sitter had to cancel. She was very self sufficient and navigated acclimating herself to everything since she arrived after we left. Our puppy Lola has been going to Gus&Friends for daycare twice a week since October 2024 and we couldn’t be happier. Elena does such a wonderful job taking care of her and our puppy is always so excited to see her and spend the day with her. We find the two drop off locations really handy and also love seeing updates on instagram of Lola’s daily adventures. What I really appreciated is that before we started regular daycare, we took our puppy for two trial days to see how she would find it and also how well she would fit in with the rest of the group on that day; luckily the fit was good and it’s always so nice to see all the dogs playing together and getting on so well!

The best dog day care in Zurich! Elena is super professional, really committed, and puts lots of love and energy into her job. And you can easily tell how much my dog loves her and his day-care time, by the way he wiggles as soon as he sees her van. It feels good to know that my dog is in a safe and happy place while I’m not around. I couldn’t have asked for a better dog-sitter!
My labrador loves going to doggo daycare with Elena and Gus. She gets so excited when they come and pick her up. I love that I can follow along their daily adventures with pictures and videos that she sends me via Whatsapp. Very well recommended!

I have the pleasure of hiring Luana as a dog sitter for my dog Luna again and again and I can only say positive things. I couldn’t recommend them enough. Claudia is a super sweet, kind and caring person who really cares about dogs and living creatures in general. I send my furbaby (also my friends ) to weekly pack walks with her and the other girls who help her and it helped so much with tiring her, socialising, and training her. Claudia makes sure that the girls who help her are up to her standards and if not she will make sure to solve the issue. Communication couldn’t be better, she answers super fast, sends pictures and videos to make sure you feel comfortable and safe to send your puppy with them. My puppy also has stayed overnight with her when I needed help and she made sure to arrange a solution to make my life easier, by picking her or dropping her or by keeping her at her place. Our two frenchies were a part of Claudia’s pack for many years, and they loved her so much. Claudia and her team are very professional and care for the dogs as if they are their own. My dog Danan has been in dog care with Claudia for almost 5 years. He is now a senior, needs more rest, sleeps a lot and likes to cuddle. But when he hears the sliding door of Claudia's dog taxi from the third floor, he jumps out of his basket, barks and waves with joy and can hardly wait for the door to open and be picked up for a walk. I even send him on the walk with me when I'm at home because he's so happy. He should have the opportunity to play with other dogs and be out in nature as a small pack as often as possible.
