Amazing place for your fur babies, our dog who usually doesn’t like kennels or dog daycares LOVES Ashley. He’s always excited to leave us when we drop him off, I highly recommend leaving your fur babies in their hands.

As refugees from Lake Charles after Hurricane Laura, it was at least consoling that Wink, Lucy, and Bunny (3 years older and hundreds of pounds bigger now :-) had such a great refuge of their own. The beautiful and professional couple who run the place made all of us feel safe and at home.

This was my first time using them. I’m glad I decided to use them. I was very satisfied and will use them again. When I picked up my dogs they were there usual happy self

Super clean, plenty of shade, nice spacious indoor/outdoor kennels and plenty of yard to run and play for your furbabies. Very secure. If you're traveling towards Texas from Baton Rouge area, under an hour drive but along your route, why not board your beloved furkid(s) here. Very nice people and you can definitely tell they love furkids.

My wife & i were told about this place from my brother & sister-in-law. They have used them for quite some time & were pleased with their services. We have used them on 2 occasions with our Maltese puppy Bijoux. Our puppy LOVES this place, he did not even notice we were leaving or when we got there to pick him up. We call it the Party Place. The owners took exceptional care of him & you can see they truly care about the animals. Unfortunately our lil man passed away this past weekend suddenly, so we will no longer be able to take Bijoux to them.Sincerely, Karen & Oneil from Scott

I have used this boarding kennels for 7+ years boarding all 4 of my dogs and sometimes 5 dogs they are very nice reliable people and very personable. They truly love dogs and treat them as their own. Ashley and Andrew are very good at their business and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We have been coming here for about 16 years! Love the indoor/outdoor kennels so our dog has a choice. Our dog is always treated like part of their family!!! Real home town love given to the pets here!!!

Jack loves doggy daycare here! Ashley and Andrew are so good with the dogs. They've been doing this 20 years and every visit they greet us with genuine enthusiasm.

We have been bringing our dogs here since about 1999. First our Boxer Oscar, now our Boxer Buttercup. They do an excellent job. Both dogs loved going there.

We have been using Woofs n Whiskers for boarding and grooming for a while now and really enjoy it. I can feel at ease when leaving my baby dog to stay with their caring staff. The manager Keith is also very friendly and exceeds expectations when it comes to customer service. I wouldn't want to bring my pet anywhere else unless I absolutely have too! Their prices are also very decent compared to other spots.

I have boarded my dog there twice and have been very pleased each time. The first time boarding I was very nervous as she was only 6 months old and it was her first time away from us. The staff were great, I called to check in a couple times and when we went to pick her up she wanted to stay and play!

The staff were sooo sweet to my dog. They were able to accommodate us last minute and were responsive to our special needs with our dog. We used them for boarding and daycare. Highly recommend!

Extremely impressed with the care our dog was given while we were on vacation. This is the first time we boarded our dog and went with the recommendation of our friends who use them a lot of the time. Our German Shepard is very shy and is very timid around people. They worked with her, played with her and she came home a different dog. I recommend this place because they treat your dog with great care and love. Had to call all day to even get somebody on the phone and they don't even do cat boardings anymore even though it said so on their website.

One of my dogs required medication. They handled it without problems. Both dogs were groomed and had a great haircut. Staff very nice.

Twice they have cut off all my dogs hair and when they were just supposed to blend him . The groomer is never there when we pick him up to discuss why she shaves our dog. Been with them four over five years. This place is not what it used to be.

Took very good care of our baby Lucky. Staff was extremely friendly. They have a wonderful place for our fur babies.

This is the second time I've picked my dog up after boarding for a weekend and found infected wounds. Not sure this place provides a clean and safe environment for overnight stays. Haven't had problems with their daycare service though.

Absolute worst experience at Paws and Paw Paws! I paid $60 for a full groom on my 25 lb dachshund mix, and what I got was a soaking wet dog shedding all over me and my car. To top it off, her nail polish was still wet and ended up staining my car seats and clothes. This was Cashew’s first professional groom after being done at home for 1.5 years, and I’m furious I trusted this place. When I called to complain, they had the audacity to say I was paying for an “experience,” not the actual groom! How does that even make sense? Who takes their dog to a groomer for the “experience” and not for an actual service? They didn’t even blow-dry her, just towel-dried and sent her home, claiming she was “nervous.” Funny how they conveniently forgot to mention that when I picked her up. They only said something AFTER I called to discuss my concerns! Then they admitted they don’t check if the dog’s nails are dry before sending them home. Unbelievable. So, not only did I pay for a half-finished job, but I also had wet nail polish all over my belongings. They offered a pathetic $5 refund, which is a joke considering the disaster they caused. If you care about your dog and don’t want to be scammed, stay far away from this place! *Update* As the owner seems to be misconstruing the situation at hand— I was told cashew was nervous at pickup, yes. I was not told she was *extremely* nervous nor that parts of the service would be incomplete due to her being nervous. Which is the entire principle of the situation. As I stated before, Cashew has been dried before. Maybe not by this grooming salon—however, it’s not her first time being dried. To think it’s okay to not finish the job and think it’s “vanity sake” is insane. I want my “vanity sake” money back then for that part of the service. If cashew is too scared of the dryer, you wait then—until she is completely dry to tell me she is ready. You don’t give a soaking wet dog back after paying $60. Seemed like this place wanted to rush her in and out and collect a fat grooming fee and just hide behind some line about caring for her! I deserve more than a $5 refund for this mess.

I called to make an appointment to get my maltese groomed. She said they were booked for almost a month out. I said I wanted that appointment and I waited. I gave her beds the night before to calm her and when I took her the day of the appointment. The girls in front said they had no record of it. Plz plz follow up the day before u r scheduled for an appointment.

I was scared when i dropped Smokey off. His head had burn marks from the last place. I was so WONDERFULLY SURPRISED. They did an amazing job and followed my directions on what I wanted. I loved his cut. That staff is so awesome and friendly. Smokey wont be going anywhere else.

Can't imagine boarding my girls anywhere else! I have two rescue pups and one is very old. I love being able to check up on them via the cameras and when they do daycare, they always come back happy and tired! The owner is very passionate about dogs and her dedication shows through her work and company. ♥️ Also, I work for a digital marketing company and feel compelled to let everyone know that it is literally impossible for a business to have negative reviews deleted off of Facebook and Google. It doesn't happen - trust me, I have had a lot of clients ask.

I have been bringing my dog, Scottie, here for daycare for the past few days. He has come home every day with his tail wagging and absolutely exhausted from a long day of play. I’ll let the photos speak for themselves. I’m very pleased so far with their service, and I think Scottie is, too.

My wife and I switched from Camp Bow Wow to here after our dog came home sick on multiple occasions. Let me just say we LOVE Paws and Paw Paws as well as Paws Midcity! Anakin has learned that he gets to go to daycare every Wednesday and now he whines every Wednesday morning like he’s begging for us to take him lol. The staff at both locations are so professional and you can really tell they care about the dogs. His best friend, Zeus, is a little smaller than him but the staff still accommodate and allow the boys ample time to play without putting anyone’s safety in jeopardy. I cannot recommend this place enough!!!

Thanks, Paws and Paw Paws for taking such great care of my, Roscoe. I know he loved his time spent there with y'all because he slept for nearly 3 days straight after his week long vacation there. I'll definitely will be back. Thanks again!

We have had to board our young doggo now a few times and we are so impressed with Paws and Paw Paws. You can tell they are passionate in their love and care of your canine companions and after his second visit, our dog is completely over his nervousness. You can also stream the play areas and see your pet, which is a good thing since I think we end up missing him more than he is homesick! They do also offer additional grooming services, are great with communication, and the prices are super reasonable. Definitely recommend!

Not only did our standard poodle come home with one of the best haircuts he's ever had (in record time), but he came home completely happy and exhausted from the daycare services provided before his cut. We had a great experience and will definitely be using Paws & Paw Paws as our go-to from now on.

We travel a lot and are always looking for a day care for our Havanese dog. We looked at reviews and this place rated well….plus, it was close to our destination for the day. I emailed the vaccination papers up front and registered online so when I showed up, the check in was easy. The office is a little loud, probably because of the hard walls and ceiling. Nice young man came and took our Katie in his arms and back into the pet area. A nice feature is that they have video feed so, while we’re out and about, I can view Katie and, as usual, she sits in a corner for hours. Not much of a social butterfly. Price was lower than expected. I would come here again.

Just want to say I have been a customer for well over 10 years now. Even though I have grown from one dog to five now, the customer service and love they give and gave my dogs over the years is unconditional. Just want to give a shoutout on how they went above and beyond this past Friday. Normally I drop my dogs off every Friday morning before 9am and pick them up in the evening. Well my job called me for a job and it would put me getting back real late after business hours. The owners and groomers went above and behind in making sure my dogs were well taken care of and coming in after 9pm so that I can get my dogs and take them home. Just the fact they understood my situation and was willing to come back in after hours so that I can pick them up meant a lot.

Dianna and her team have care for both of my dogs, first my girl Fifolet who we lost at the age of 3 to kidney failure. And now my boy Gumbo. There is no one I would trust more with him than these ladies. He frequently goes to daycare and goes for his monthly grooming. And if I need to go out of town he goes home with his Nanny, Dianna. 🥰 They are professional, caring and dedicated to their dogs (and their dog families lol). They go out of their way for all of their customers, which you don’t find every often anymore. I can’t say enough about them but I’d be lost without them. You won’t regret going with them as your dogs care team.

Horrible experience…she judged me before I even walked into her business and then has the nerve to keep my two babies all day long and gets upset that I’m calling . I brought them at 9 am and never heard word about them and I was concerned at 4 pm. She called me and told me that I was problematic

When you walk in you can automatically know she loves every dog that enters that place and knows them. They love her! I trust them with my fur baby Kylo. They take excellent care of him! The staff is Awesome as well. Everyone is kind & gentle w the dogs & clients. Very welcoming atmosphere. It's like a perfect Daycare for Dogs. My first dog has been coming here for six years and my second dog over a year now. I recommend anyone to bring their pet to Critters Spa & Day Care for grooming & boarding. The atmosphere is family friendly, their grooming, and boarding are not expensive. Anyone that bring their pets here can be sure your pet will be in good hands. Everytime I go you can tell the dogs really enjoy being there and they interact with all dogs treating them like there own. I love this place!!!!!!!

I contacted Sarah for walking my dog a few years ago (when my pup was a puppy and she will turn 5 next month!), then got another dog over 2 years ago and she doesn’t hesitate to walk both my puppies! Last week we had to go out of town and my son has a bearded dragon, so she walked my dogs and fed and hung out with the bearded dragon. I’m giving anyone that has a dog (or cat or bearded dragon or fish) her info cuz she takes care of them hands down. Nothing but love!

Sarah has been pet sitting/house sitting for me since Dec 2022. I go out of town often. I have 5 dogs and 3 cats. One of which is diabetic and requires 2 shots a day. She's caring and playful with my pets and trustworthy. I have complete confidence in Sarah to care for my dogs, cats and home. Sarah is the very best! She has helped me, and my fur babies, with so much... from potty break drop-ins for my puppy to daily walks for all three of my dogs, which is not always easy. I also love when she comes to feed and check on our cat while we are out of town. Sarah is incredibly attentive and professional, and I trust her with my pets and our home. She is flexible with scheduling and is in constant communication, with photo updates each time she comes to the house. She really goes above and beyond and it is very evident that she loves what she does! I can't recommend Sarah enough!

These folks always go above and beyond in caring for our pets (2 cats and an elderly dog). The business part is super efficient and user friendly with the portal and online scheduling, but the heart of the company is their extreme live and devotion to animals. They come when they say they will. They quickly get to know and love your pets. They send reports with photos each visit, so you know they've been. Shout out to Sarah who has typically cared for our pets and is wonderful. If there is any concern they raise it and have good ideas. When they cared for our elderly dog who wasn't eating, Maddy cooked chicken breast and rice ti coax her to eat. They offered to put out a baby pool with water one day this summer when it was super hot. They always offer to water pla ts, bring in mail. Always responsive to messages or texts.

Maddie & Sarah were fantastic. Maddie put me so much at ease leaving my dog behind for the first time while we went to a wedding & vacationed for a week. I was so nervous. We have a large inside German shepherd (Sadie) with lots of energy. I thought she would get lonely & begin to destroy things. They exercised her daily & let her swim as desired. The daily pictures proved she was well taken care of and actually having fun! They even went above & beyond: took in the mail, watered the plants, etc. I will definitely have No Meaux Worries next time I need to leave Sadie behind.

Maddy is the ABSOLUTE BEST!! I have a 17 year old dog that is not the easiest to take care of and Maddy is fabulous with her and does it with a smile. Maddy has always been the first one I ask to take care of my pets, even before she made it a business. I couldn’t think of a better job for her. Even when I say to just let my dog out and give a scoop of food and then she can leave- she goes above and beyond (takes pictures with her, plays with her, gives her treats) because she truly cares about the well being of the pets. Her employee, Hunter, has also care for my pets numerous times and gives them the same Love and attention that Maddy does. My fur babies get to stay in the comfort of their own home and be loved on by someone who truly cares about them- I couldn’t ask for more!

Oh my gosh I cannot say in enough words how great this place is. I went in crying my eyes out so worried about my dog thinking he was dying. I was greeted with compassion and assurance that they would take great care of us and they 500% followed through. The doctor and staff were so informative, sympathetic, caring and settled my heart. They were able to exam my baby without him getting crazy. 1st time ever in 11 years that I have brought by dog somewhere and he did not try to attack them, growl or fight them.. They were very patient and loving with us. Very clean and organized clinic.The bill was very reasonable and they did not take unnecessary tests just to get more money. 500% recommend!!! Great experience. We had a sort-of-emergency as our dog was bit on the chin but weren’t sure by what. We called ahead and although we had never been there, we explained the situation and they assured us we would be seen. Within about 5 minutes of arriving the vet was examining him. She was very courteous and very through. The aids were as nice and showered him with love. If you are looking for a veterinarian clinic I recommend this one highly.

We brought our lab in on a Sunday because she was having seizures. The staff, doctors, nurses, techs were so kind and compassionate to our pups needs and to to us. They tried everything medically possible to save our 14yr old girl. Even though we had some idea that our outcome was not going to be what we wanted, we left there feeling confident she was in good hands. This place is amazing, they are caring for you as much as your furbaby. She had round the clock care and was not alone. They have doctors and nurses along with techs. We highly recommend going here for all your needs. It was clean, professional and caring.

I brought Riley in for an emergency visit on Sunday. Dr Patrick and his staff were very thorough and responsive. They were very caring when dealing with both Riley and me since I was a wreck. Dr Patrick figured out why Riley was having breathing problems and monitored her until she was stable. I would definitely recommend Lafayette Veterinary Care Clinic and would not hesitate to bring any of my fur babies there.

Always a pleasant experience here. My two dogs have always been well taken care of and doted on whether we’re in for routine wellness exams, emergency injuries, or illness. It can be more pricey than other places but the cost is worth the extra peace of mind that we’ll have top notch service. I’m never pushed to pay for anything that isn’t absolutely required but a realistic list of options is always given to me. Dr. Zac is one of my favorite vets I’ve interacted with as well!!

We called on a Sunday afternoon with concerns about our 6 week old puppy. They were super sweet on the phone and were able to take us in in the time it took us to drive there. The staff were so polite and informative during the visit. Prices are reasonable. We will definitely be taking our baby back there for future visits!

We took a week long vacation and needed a great place for our dog, Stanley. Stanley stayed in a suite and got the royal treatment. When I picked him up he was bathed with nails trimmed, etc... This is a great place to leave your family member ... if you love them.

They took care my of Black Cat Millie and gave me everything I needed to treat her type 2 diabetes. I recommend Dr John and the staff were really great too! Best Veterinarian Clinic I ever went to and they are open late for all your pets needs. They even have a Pet resort and a groomer which is pretty low cost as well. Thank you for everything. We absolutely LOVE Lafayette Vet Care Clinic!!!! We moved vets due to an emergency caused by our previous Veterinarian. Your office saved our Blazes left paw!!!! We love all of the staff!!! Everyone is very kind and so helpful!!!!!
