Loyal, trustworthy, independent gal. Loves animals. Local to OC, able to travel.
Kari was absolutely fantastic! Her communication was top-notch throughout, always keeping me updated and reassured. When I returned, my house was spotless, a testament to her attention to detail. It's clear she loves pets, and my pets adored her in return. She went above and beyond in every way, making sure they were not only well cared for but also happy. I will definitely have her back in the future. Highly recommend!"

Experienced 5⭐️ house & pet sitter who loves to travel. Quiet, clean, vaccinated
Yammy was a wonderful sitter, and we were lucky to have her here. She and our cat Puccini clicked right away, and based on her frequent updates with photos to us I think Puccini sat on or near her every minute she was here😄! She was here for five+ weeks, and anything that came up needing attention she took it in stride and and kept us informed so we never had to worry about a thing. And when we returned the house was immaculate — if it hadn’t been for the pictures she sent we would hardly know she’d lived in the house for five weeks! We’d love to host her again, any time, and if she applies to sit for you you should absolutely grab her before someone else does.

Happy writer offers you peace-of-mind while you're away.
McKinley was great in every aspect. She has been doing pet sitting for a while and it shows. She was well prepared ahead of time, knew the right questions to ask and was great with our dog Libbey. We would be happy to have her back anytime.

Your home and pets will be cared with much love
This was our first time using zeewoi, and Gaby made us feel reassured about leaving our 2 dogs behind to travel. She spent most of her time with them and sent pictures every day. It is clear Gaby loves animals deeply, so we were very happy to know our dogs were not just being looked after, but loved on in our absence. She took the time to get to know their individual personalities and quirks and give the specific type of care and attention needed for each pup. One of our dogs can be shy and insecure and very attached to me, but Gaby earned her trust in a matter of hours. Gaby allowed us to travel without worrying about our dogs, and we would have her sit for us again in the future!

Responsible and Perceptive Animal Lover
I had a last minute trip come up, and was relieved Valerie was able to take care of my kitties in a pinch. I liked her immediately upon meeting her, and felt her great energy would be a perfect match for my shy kitties. As far as I could tell, Valerie took good care of the kitties while I was away. The communication was just okay. She eventually replied to my messages about this and that, but didn't really initiate or share little updates or photos of the kitties and how it was going unless I reached out first. When I came home, I discovered that an item of mine was missing and asked her if she had seen it anywhere, thinking I must have misplaced it before I left. She acknowledged she had taken it, but didn't actually apologize, incredibly, and then it was a real struggle to try to get it back or at least have her send a replacement. After much persistence and pursuit on my part and quite the runaround on her part, she eventually replaced it, but I was a bit taken aback by her blasé attitude about taking it in the first place and then casual avoidance to resolving the situation. All very surprising, and an unfortunate disheartening footnote to the petsit. All that being said, she left my house very clean and tidy, and the kitties seemed very calm and content when I returned.

Midwestern Gal in LA LA Land
Natasha is an excellent dog sitter. We met her before going on our trip, and she took note of everything! She was super independent while staying at our house and sent us lots of daily pictures of our dog. It was clear they got along very well, and she was very dedicated to his walks and care. She also watered the plants. When we came home, the house was very clean. Thank you, Natasha, you're a professional! We hope you'll take care of Tego again in the future.

Hari did a great job taking care of my two cats and seems to have made good friends with both of them while I was away -- something that's not always that easy with my kitties. She was also really good at communicating, sending me updates and pix regularly. And best of all, my place looked great when I got back home. Thanks Hari!

There are not enough words in the English language to express my deepest gratitude to Teresa and all the amazing love and care she showed my sweet cat Milo. From the moment she met Milo, I knew there was going to be a very special bond. He instantly relaxed when he first met and already looked so happy and at peace with her. The bond between the two of them only seemed to get stronger and stronger with every day that I was away. This two-week trip was so important for me as it was the first real "vacation" I had taken in a few years. I was in desperate need of a mental and physical break and knew that in order to have a true "time off', I needed to feel completely at peace with Milo being well-taken care of. Well my prayers were answered as Teresa was the "cat whisperer" I was hoping for. I could not have asked for a better, more compassionate, self-reliant, and intuitive sitter ! Teresa was also so diligent in sending me her daily picture and video updates of my cat. With every picture and video I saw, I knew that Milo was so happy being with her and I never worried for one minute while I was away. What a gift ! Teresa was also a serious life-saver for me as literally an hour before I was leaving for my trip, I found out my cat's tracker app was not working and after a few emails and phone calls, we found out the tracker's server was down. Teresa took the initiative to follow up with getting the tracker to work again which was a HUGE stress-relief for me . She is not only wonderfully savvy with animals but also with technology as well ! I feel so fortunate to have Teresa in my life now, not only as an amazing sitter for Milo but also as a wonderful friend for life! Thank you, Teresa for everything.... Milo and I so appreciate you .....
We literally cannot say enough positive things about Susan and Miranda! They are the best! From start to finish, they did an amazing job communicating with us, giving our 3 (somewhat needy) cats extremely high quality care and tons of attention, and keeping our house clean and plants watered. They took adorable pictures of the cats and sent them to us several times a day, played with them and gave them so much love and affection, and when we got home the house was even cleaner than when we left. We even asked them for some tips on how they were caring for the cats because our cats seemed happier and more relaxed than ever when we returned home to them! This was by far our best cat/house sitter experience to date. We hope Susan and Miranda are available again in the future to sit for us and would invite them back without hesitation.
Quinn was an amazing sitter for my cat Moon! She regularly checked in with updates on moon while we were away on a two week vacation, and seemed to give her plenty of attention, play with her, etc. Communication was easy and she left our apartment spotless after departing. Highly recommend her as a pet sitter!
Daniel and Vasylyna were incredible house sitters and we would welcome them back to sit for us again any time they are available! They were fantastic communicators, making sure to work out details far in advance and they sent frequent picture updates of our animals which made us so happy while we were away. When the power went out in the neighborhood while they were here leading to a technology issue with our alarm system, they handled everything well. Upon our return, the house was clean, the garden was thriving and well cared for, and our dog and cat were clearly very loved while we were away - in fact our dog was sooooo sad to see them leave! I had the pleasure of getting to know them a bit before I left, and they are such a kind, adventurous, and great couple. I would highly recommend having Daniel and Vasylyna take care of your house, plants, and animals!
Kathy and Ron arrived at our home with a most fantastical toy for our cats and a giant apple pie. Need I say more? They are very experienced sitters and brought personal items that they prefer. We knew we were leaving out cats in good hands. A large part of their 'job' was hand watering our garden and Ron took that in stride. Everything is thriving. Our cats are usually distant with new people but we received photos of them keeping Kathy and Ron company in various situations which was reassuring. They clearly won our cats over. Although Ron and Kathy had a ferry to catch on their last day, they took time to wash their linens and hang them on the clothesline. They also left us a gorgeous plant for our garden. We would very much like to have them back for a longer sit if possible.
Oh wow! Everyone should be so lucky to have Nicholas and Veerle watch their house and pets. These lovely people are pros! They communicated early and often, were super accommodating to some last minute changes (it was originally going to be only our cats to watch but we decided to keep the dog home as well so that added to the schedule and care needs) and they left the house spotless and all set up for another sitter who came in after them. We didn’t get the chance to meet because my departure and arrival times but I dearly hope I get to in the future because they were just great! I even heard how nice they were from My neighbors who say them out walking our dog. :-) They also sent regular pictures of the pets which look like pro-photography! Cannot recommend this couple enough! Your pets and house will be in good hands!
Jenima is an excellent sitter! She is organized, communicative and flexible throughout the stay. We needed a sitter at the last minute because Jazz got sick, and Jenima saved us. We left a little worried about him, but Jenima took care of him really well and kept us informed. Cats love her! We definitely recommend her to take care of your pets!
Danny and Jo did a great job caring for our 3 cats and fish AND lots of plants (and home of course) while we were out of town for 3 weeks. We came back to a very clean house, sheets, and towels all clean and folded and fresh sheets on the bed they were using. The plants were all alive too, which is a first for us (again, we have a lot of plants!). The cats were happy to see us and they were all accounted for (a past sitter lost a cat for a week - they escaped outside as a non-outside cat). Everything was in its place and looked great. We received regular updates (via text) with photos of the cats lounging about which was important for us. Danny asked good questions when they visited us before the sit, and when reviewing our pet/house sitting instructions. The only thing we noticed that was different was that our 2 young cats were a little lighter (not necessarily a bad thing) but we understand that being gone for that length of time can be stressful on our furry family, which almost always affects their eating habits. All in all, we would definitely have them again!
Tonya was great and filled in after our other sitter had to cancel. She was very self sufficient and navigated acclimating herself to everything since she arrived after we left. She gave thoughtful updates on my cat and I could tell she really enjoyed her, so that means the world to me! She left the place immaculate and we will certainly have Tonya back!
Steven was a great sitter for our black lab Souris and cat Pinot. They were well looked after and really liked Steven. Our house was in good order when we got back and Steven was kind enough to give us a lift to and from the airport. He was very flexible, arriving day early so we could show him around.
Is it better to board cats or leave at home?
Veterinarians advising to leave cats at home with a pet sitter who will stay overnight in your home, boarding is not recommended for cats as they are stressed in a new environment, you can find a sitter who will care for your cats and home for free at Zeewoi.
How much should you pay someone to watch your cat?
At least $20 per visit, $38/day per overnight watching in your home, otherwise you can find a free sitter at Zeewoi.
What do people do with their cats when they go on vacation?
Inviting a cat sitter to your home, boarding the cat with a local business, asking a friend, family or neighbour to feed and check the well-being. The most efficient way to leave your cat during your vacation is with Zeewoi cat sitters for free, in this way, you will save cat sitting costs and make vacation not only for you but also for your cat sitter!
Michael is great with all the dogs and all of the employees seem to genuinely love each of the animals. This is the only place I’ve ever left any of my dogs where they almost seem to want to stay there instead of coming back home with me. The home is set up in a manner that caters to the animals and along with whichever other pets might be staying there at the time, Michael’s dog Bella is such a sweetheart and you can rest assured your dog has a friend with them at almost any time whether they prefer another 4-legged friend or a human companion to pass the time while they eagerly await your return. I would recommend Golden Days to anyone who needs somewhere safe and fun for their pet to stay whether you’ll be gone for just the day or you’re taking a long vacation but can’t bring your pet along with you. Give this place a try whether you need it or not, your pet will love it and will thank you for taking them somewhere special.
Michael is fantastic! He was very professional and detailed which I appreciated. When we dropped our pup off he was very welcoming and instantly gave so much attention to our pup. Our pup instantly loved him. When we picked him up I knew our pup had a good weekend because he didn't pee all over himself and did not look fatigued and famished as he usually presents after being boarded. He truly looked happy. I was able to maintain contact with Michael throughout the stay asking how our pup was and he sent pics which made me happy. We have used Michael/Golden Days many times and feel blessed to have found such a wonderful care giver for our baby. Highly recommend.
Michael took such great care of my beloved senior cat! Everything was purrfect when I returned home and I really loved the little status activity notes he left every day! I highly recommend Golden Days Pet Services.
I've been using this service for over a year. I can always count on Michael even for last minute requests. I love the report card he leaves behind and the videos describing the details of his visit and interaction. My dog loves him. The best ever!!!
Michael is very knowledgeable with dogs and takes great care of my pup when I’m away. Hes always happy to go back.
loved Getting picture updates. The only thing I did not like is when we picked up our dogs they reeked of urine. They smelt so bad It was nauseating.
I researched so many places to board our furbaby and I am so glad we found Passionate 4 Pets. Linzy is an absolute angel and our baby fell in love with her from day 1. The love and care she took of Daisy went above and beyond anything we could have hoped for. From the pick up of Daisy to drop off everything was perfect. Absolutely worth the money for the 24 hour attention Daisy received. I could go on and on but if you want to go on vacation without worrying about your furbaby Passionate 4 Pets is the best place to go.
Our pups have had great treatments there in both Santa Ana hospital & CC Costa Mesa location.
Rita has been absolutely wonderful with our dog Cali and a godsend for my husband and I! She's been watching our now 11 week old puppy for 2 weeks and we're so thankful to have found her. She's incredibly responsive, on time, knowledgeable with dogs and keeps Cali engaged and happy when she's watching her. Highly recommend hiring Rita for any dog sitting needs you have!!
Wally and Tillie (my two 13-year-old cats) love Rita. They always come out when she takes care of them, which is saying something because they hide from any other cat sitters or visitors! Rita sends me photos while I’m away and my kitties are always happy when I get home so I know she has taken good care of them. I recommend Rita unreservedly! She is a gentle soul and it’s obvious that she loves animals.
If you are tired of your dog walkers not showing up -- or rescheduling on you -- and need a reliable dog service who really cares about your animals, this is the dog walking/sitting service for you. Rita has been walking and taking care of my two dogs AND my two cats for about three years now. She is honest and reliable. I don't often do reviews, but when it comes to my animals, I feel that others will benefit from the amazing care my babies get from Rita. I am sure you will be as happy with her services as I am. :-)
Rita is a neighbor’s dog walker - so when I needed one, she was ready & willing. She was professional, and patient with my senior dog, and even able to help on a last minute call. We will definitely use her services again. My dogs Love her too ;)
Newport Dog Care does a wonderful job taking care of our two dogs. We are very happy with the services and our puppies adore them.
Rita did a great job taking care of my two dogs over a long weekend. She truly cares about dogs, is professional, and was easy to work with. I will use her services again.
I thankfully found Rita after I had back surgery and wasn’t able to walk my dog. My dog instantly loved her and happily went along with her for his walks. Rita was very easy to work with and I highly recommend her.
Rita has been a responsible and professional dog Walker and I have appreciated her service. She always sends pictures everyday of my dog and I find it very comforting. Thank you, Rita!
Everything I could ask for in a dog sitter! She answered her phone right away -- I appreciate that, as I hate having to leave messages for people I want to give my money to. We found a time to meet me and my dog, go over our needs while I was away, dates and times for her to visit. She was very agreeable. She kept in contact with me while I was away, sending me texts and pictures of how my dog was doing so she's obviously very trustworthy. I was so glad he had Rita to visit him. She is lovely, I highly recommend!
Rita is a class act! I met Rita through my nursing coworker at CHOC, she went above and beyond watching my two old puppers. Being new to the area it is always hard to find trustworthy help, but Rita knocked it out of the park. I highly recommend her.
This place is amazing. My 11 mos old standard poodle loved his first visit and the prices are reasonable. The staff is great with the dogs. Also, we love that we can watch our dog live online all day. We will definitely make the Dog Ranch our dog's permanent day care and boarding moving forward.
Located in lagoon canyon is secret getaway for your pets to have a better than great day at the ranch. The entire grounds are always very neat and clean. The players are very well shaded it's trees resting areas platforms large pool with waterfall surrounded by the deck and entire ground play yard is carpeted with astral turf That's what I like no dirt. We have special care needs for your pets be a therapy massage hair trim or nail trim or just plain cuddly they're here for your pets shuttle service is available, thanks to the owner for developing such a great pet resort & spa
Dog Ranch Bed & Biscuit is a wonderful place to take your dog for day care and overnight stays. They take incredible care of your pup and keep the place immaculate. It is like Disneyland for dogs with wading pools, lounge chairs, spritzers in summer and lots of places to relax and run. It's perfect for young and old dogs. We have taken all of our dogs over the past 18 years to Dog Ranch but our youngest husky Roo is absolutely crazy about this place. He was an abused rescue dog when we got him and the Dog Ranch staff worked hard to slowly introduce him so he felt comfortable. Now when we pick him up, he doesn't want to leave! We also have great confidence in the way the staff takes care of our dog overnight. If your dog needs special care with health issues, they will give them supplements and multiple feedings. We HIGHLY recommend Dog Ranch Bed & Biscuit to everyone!
We are SO GLAD WE FOUND THIS PLACE! We have a super friendly, super playful 80lb pit bull, and we tried several other daycares prior to finding Dog Ranch. Here are the three things that make Dog Ranch stand out from most other daycares: 1. Their facility is mostly outdoors. 2. They offer assistance with routine vet care (for a very reasonable fee they will take your pup to get routine immunizations, etc.) 3. Most importantly, their staff seem to ACTUALLY LIKE AND CARE ABOUT DOGS. The other daycares that we tried for our pup first were indoors, the staff was young and did not seem to particularly like dogs or care about reinforcing good behavior or any other behavioral training…and our pup would come home more wound up then when we dropped him off. Upon further investigation (watching the cameras) we realized that they were just putting our dog in “time out” which was an isolated kennel for the majority of the day, presumably because they didn’t want to deal with his energy level. At Dog Ranch, the staff seem knowledgeable about dog care and handling, and it was very obvious they were taking the time to work with our dog during the day. His behavior actually improved as he spent more time there. Bottom line, if you have a large dog with high energy, this is the place for you. Also, if you have a dog you care about and you want to leave it with other people who will care about it, this is the place for you :) Shout out to the awesome staff, Jose, Vicki, Ashley, Eric, and everyone else!! We <3 you guys!!
We love the dog ranch. I’ve been taking both of my dogs there since they were puppies and they love it there. The staff is amazing and I never have to worry about the kind of care they get after dropping them off. They have plenty of caregivers and it’s great that they offer overnight stays and grooming services as well making it a one stop shop. It’s also great knowing that I can travel without worrying about what to do with my dogs. They know everyone there really well so they don’t feel scared, abandoned or worried while I’m gone. I’d give this place 1,000 stars if I could!
At first you have a good impression of this place because is well located, nicely done and clean. But once an emergency happens with your dog, at a place that you at least hope to be a "safe dog environment", it really changes the picture. During a family trip, our dog suffered a serious "attack". "Attack" because still not clear of what happened but I am having my conclusions based on the veterinary report, provide by the veterinary clinic, which Dog Ranch has a business agreement and I am also a costumer of the same clinic. There was only a call from Dog Ranch, a day after the incident saying our dog felt and hurt his back. We got desperate for the last minute call, because it was a Saturday afternoon and they were closing in few hours. Fortunately, I was able to book a charter and we arrived on Sunday morning. Eric (the facility bouncer) made even more difficult for us to get our dog of that place, because he wouldn't open the door on Sunday for us. Even having staff at the location and of course this was an emergency case. Our dog should also stayed isolated because of risk of infection and because he had a SERIOUS injury. But instead, they kept him running around 30 dogs, a day after his surgery. I would assume this was at least part of their protocol in case something like that happened but apparently not... So on top of all stress, we still had to find a person available to pick our dog in 2 hours and board him overnight. Our friend was able to get our dog on Saturday and stayed safe until we arrived. Dog Ranch took all decisions, did all procedures and released our dog from the vet facility without our consent or authorization. Dog Ranch also "tried" to contact our number right after the incident but they had a "wrong number". Luckily because of a act of God, they find our number and called us a day after all happened. Long story short, we go hit by a vet bill and a bill from the boarding. Bottom line, keep your dog out of this place.
Place is nice. But if you leave them overnight the people that work their leave the dogs no water in their cages for your dog. That's illegal. Someone should investigate them. I would never leave my dog overnight again.
I used to provide IT services to this company, and I can truly say that the staff loves their jobs and the animals. They take great care for the animals and overall I'd recommend the place. Stephanie and her team are amazing!
OMG our dog has such a great time interacting with other dogs....swimming in the pool...and the staff was exceptional!! What a great experience right out the door, will do this at least once a week!
I was extremely impressed with the dog ranch. Very friendly, competent and well organized. My 9 year old German Shepherd loved it.
We absolutely love Bark Collective! Our golden retriever goes here for training, pack walks, baths, and daycare, and it’s been an incredible experience. We met with Jillian for a private training session, and she was amazing—patient, knowledgeable, and so great with our little guy. I spent a lot of time searching for a daycare that not only truly cares about the dogs but is also super convenient, with a shuttle service and flexible, last-minute bookings. This place is hands down the best in Orange County! Highly recommend for anyone looking for top-notch care for their pup!
Bark Collective in Newport Beach has been an absolute game-changer for me and my dog, Olive. She’s a sweet but nervous/shy girl who takes a bit to open up, yet loves people and other dogs. I hadn’t found a place that felt quite right for her—until now. I discovered Bark Collective when I saw one of their shuttles during a walk in my neighborhood, and from that moment, everything changed for the better. The staff at Bark Collective are nothing short of exceptional. They are truly warm, patient, and incredibly kind-hearted people who immediately made both Olive and me feel at ease. Their love for dogs radiates in everything they do, and I could instantly tell that Olive was in the best hands possible. The facility is spotless—truly immaculate—and every single dog I’ve seen coming or going looks happy, well cared for, and stress-free. I can’t even begin to express how grateful I am for Bark Collective. They’ve given me such peace of mind, and knowing Olive is cared for by people who genuinely love what they do is priceless. We are so lucky to have found this gem of a place, and I wouldn’t trust my shy, slow-to-open-up girl anywhere else. If you’re looking for a place where your dog will be loved, cared for, and treated like family, Bark Collective is it. They are beyond exceptional—100/10, and there’s truly nothing else like it! Thanks Bark Collective, so happy to be a part of your pack truly!!
It took us a few tries to find the right spot for our hyper one year old puppy and we couldn't be happier with her experience at Bark Collective! Every week, she eagerly anticipates her time there, and it's heartwarming to see how much she enjoys playing with other dogs and interacting with the staff. They even celebrated her 1st birthday which meant the world to us. We just started training with Piper, and the support we've received has been invaluable. The trainers are knowledgeable and encouraging, making us feel confident in our journey with her. It's a joy to watch Piper learn and grow, and we're excited for what's to come. Overall, the daycare and training experience have been a perfect fit for us, and we're so grateful for the community we're becoming a part of!
I recently took my toy Australian shepherds, Batman and Bowser, to The Bark Collective for training, and it has been a fantastic experience. The staff is not only knowledgeable but also incredibly attentive and friendly. They create a welcoming environment that both dogs and owners appreciate. The training methods used are effective and easy to follow, making the learning process enjoyable for both me and my dogs. I’ve noticed significant improvements in Batman and Bowser’s behavior and responsiveness. It’s clear that the staff genuinely cares about the dogs and their progress. Overall, I highly recommend The Bark Collective for anyone looking to train their pets. The combination of expert guidance and a positive atmosphere has made this a valuable experience for us. Batman and Bowser love the staff, and I can see how much they thrive in this supportive environment.
i took my rosie girl here for daycare and as i was leaving and the owner came out to tell me what a smart dog i had and suggested we do a lesson with her. they've helped me so much teach her how to properly walk on a leash! i feel so welcome when i walk in and they all love my rosie. it's also beautiful aesthetic and i wish my home looked this pretty! i'm a big bark collective fan!
I toured a few places before finding Bark Collective. I am so happy I kept looking! Their space is beautiful & clean. Everyone is warm & welcoming. We love receiving photos while he’s at daycare. Thank you for making us feel like our pup is loved & cared for while he’s at Bark Collective !
We started taking our pet here a few months ago, and it has been great so far. The staff is kind and helpful, sweet to our pet and sends daily photo updates to us. We have used the training services and day care, and we already see lots of improvements in our pet and her behavior. She comes home tired and happy!
We had Winston, our 10 month old Frenchie stay for the 3- week board & train. The staff were so helpful and loving. We are so happy with the results!!! Actually amazed would be a better description. His trainer Abby was fantastic and Winston loved his stay. I would highly recommend Bark Collective for all your dog needs❤️
We love Bark Collective. They are so wonderful and hands on. Toffee loves her pack walks and the picture updates are the highlight of my day. Abby, their trainer, has done an incredible job helping Toffee understand appropriate play. Her recall is also infinitely better than it was when she first started training. Thanks for everything you do and for helping Toffee be her best self!
Absolutely in love with this place! I take my dog here for daycare and I can't say enough incredible things. Like most, my dog is my baby, so to know that the staff is beyond caring and attentive, is so comforting to me. He always has a BLAST and comes home exhausted. Finally, my issue with other doggy daycare places is it has felt like the staff didn't really watch the dogs that attentively or keep track of vaccines, etc. THIS IS NOT THE CASE HERE! They are so on top of making sure dogs are healthy, well behaved and always watched
My family and I are so grateful to have found Sylvia! She just watched our one year old chihuahua for 5 nights and we couldn’t be happier. Our girl, Ivy takes some time to warm up to new people and within a day, Sylvia had her walking on a joint leash with another dog and living her best doggie life. She bonded with Sylvia and her daughter and I feel comfortable leaving her with OC Pet Nurse next time we are out of town. Thank you for your patience, kindness, and amazing pet knowledge, Sylvia!
Sylvia was absolutely amazing with our two-year-old cat, Parker. I was anxious about leaving him while we were on vacation, but Sylvia quickly put my mind at ease. She not only took excellent care of Parker but also went above and beyond by sending regular photos and videos, so we knew he was in great hands. Her genuine concern for Parker’s well-being was evident, and she even offered helpful suggestions to improve his care. Unfortunately, we've recently moved out of the area, so we’re no longer able to use her services, but we highly recommend Sylvia to anyone looking for a reliable and caring cat sitter!
We did extensive research and visited several providers before using the services of OC Pet Nurse. We selected Sylvia to board our Border Collie as we felt that the attention and services provided were the closest to the experience that our dog has at home. It was important to us that our dog had a "family" environment, minimum of two walks per day and human supervision. Sylvia also provides daily photos and videos as well as a brief status of how our dog is doing. We wholeheartedly recommend her.
OC Pet Nurse Sylvia handled our rowdy boxer puppy with care! She will be our new puppy sitter going forward. We had a great meet and greet first and she got to know our family and out puppy's needs. So far we have had pet sitting at Sylvia's home for a very long Disney day. Then we did a 3 day stay for a work conference. It was so much easier to leave her at their safe home environment and we got pics throughout the day to know she was having fun and getting tired. I wish we knew Sylvia when we had our older boxer before he passed, as she would have been very familiar with his complex medication regimen. We will definitely board our puppy here if we need to go out of town. When she gets older, we would hire Sylvia for walks as well. Sylvia had some great training suggestions for us as well. Highly recommended pet sitting and boarding from OC Pet Nurse!!
I am SOO lucky I found Sylvia!! I was taking a week long trip and was nervous to leave my dog at a regular boarding (I've had bad experiences before). But Sylvia's place was AMAZING!!!! Her family is incredibly welcoming and they are all so sweet to their pet guests . I received multiple pictures and videos of my dog every day to let me know how he was doing. Above all else, Sylvia looked out for my pet's health. She made sure that the other dogs were friendly with my dog and if one was ever aggressive, she would make accommodations to avoid any incidents. After the full week, my dog is in perfect health and had so much fun playing with the other doggies and her kids! Sylvia is a hidden gem! The absolute best!
Sylvia is WONDERFUL!!! We are able to travel with peace of mind knowing that Sylvia is providing loving and great care for our two dogs. Finding Sylvia has definitely been a blessing to our family! She is knowledgeable, kind, and reliable; and you can tell that she genuinely loves animals! She is very loving to the dogs and genuinely cares about their best interest. Plus she even watches our tortoise as well :) She sends pictures regularly, spoils them with healthy treats, takes them for walks, and cares for their overall wellbeing. Plus, she's a very nice, warm, and honest person! Sylvia is gifted at what she does, and we are so thankful for her!
To sum up Sylvia's service in one word: wonderful!!! I met Sylvia through my community chat group when my puppy was barely 5 months old. I was looking for someone reliable and trustworthy to watch my puppy because a number of dog sitters I had worked with just didn't work out too well. The benefit of having your dog in Sylvia's care: - socialization - exercise and stimulation - and a lot of TLC ** And Sylvia is a trained veterinarian nurse ** My puppy loves Sylvia's two cats (adorable by the way) and her children (adorable that goes without saying). I felt having my puppy spending time in a family with children and pets was very important for her development, and Sylvia's family was perfect. Don't just take my word for it. Check it out for yourself. I trust my puppy in Syliva's care and looks forward to the updates I get. Whether I was away for weeks or just at work, I can relax knowing my puppy in good hands.
OC Pet Nurse is the absolute best! I have too many stories to list of Sylvia helping me out in a bind, giving me training advice, taking my dog to the vet, doing overnights, and offering a wealth of information about all things animals. Sylvia and her family have the biggest hearts, love animals, are so kind. Sylvia has been helping us for almost 2 years now. We’re lucky to know them!
Sylvia was very professional, responsive, and patient in answering our questions about care for our dog. She provided frequent updates during our dogs stay with her, administered his medication, and provided such a caring environment that he was almost reluctant to come back home. Nice work!! We will be a repeat customer.
We are so glad we found Sylvia. After a bad experience at a pet resort we were desperate to find an option for boarding our little Izzy. Izzy had the best time with Sylvia who always sent us plenty of updates of pictures and videos. We honestly weren't sure if Izzy would ever want to leave! So happy that we have a safe and reliable option for Izzy 😁
Susan is so caring and an amazing pet sitter. I’ve used her services several times. And will continue. She is very trustworthy and caring
Susan is a person whose love for animals is apparent the moment you talk to her. She was very serious about taking great care of my cat and my cat warmed up to her immediately! I am so happy I found Susan. She is delightful!
This has been our dog's home away from home for the past three years! We take her for day care and occasionally boarding, and she LOVES it! She is loved and cared for and gets to play, and she's always so happy and excited when we drop her off. Sherri and all of the staff are wonderful, they truly care! Plus they are pretty flexible and affordable, especially compared to other places. Could not recommend them more!
We are going on two years of bringing our dog for daycare and occasional boarding at about Animal’s Best Friend and we wouldn’t take him anywhere else. He loves Sherri and her staff and is always eager to go. The staff has taken the time to get to know my reactive dog and has helped him socialize to the point where he has many doggie friends. I always feel our dog gets the best and most consistent care at Your Animal’s Best Friend. I highly recommend.
YABF is a great place to take your dog if you’re looking for a cage-free daycare filled with loving staff and great prices. My dog goes here twice a week and enjoys making new friends. She also gets spoiled because of her big sad cow eyes. I know that she’ll be safe and happy while I’m working. When I first brought my dog here, I was worried because she’s shy. When I picked her up they called her a “social butterfly”. I was in shock. I didn’t expect her to love daycare so much. The open plan/couch and bed set up was incredibly helpful in getting her out of her shell. Sherri and Dan are both responsive if I have questions or concerns. They are happy to give me updates with photos during the afternoon.
This family is dedicated to supporting and protecting and loving your pups. Sherri is a dedicated and fiercely loyal person to the health and safety of your dogs. You don't want to vaccinate or train your dog? Cool, you can't come here, she is strict about medical records and behavior of animals. We live in FV now and still come back for top level love and support after moving from HB. If you don't believe that these animals are something special talk to Sherri about their not so subtly message to her and saving her, it's a testament to why we don't deserve dogs.
After looking around for a professional dog care service for our wedding, we found Your Animal's Best Friend. My dog is like my child, since I don't have any children, and it was enormously important for her to be in our wedding. We got married on a Sunday on Labor Day weekend 2014 at Hyatt Huntington Beach. While most dog care services were closed Sundays and/or the holiday weekend, Your Animal's Best Friend was not only open, but provided handling services and transportation for my dog Penny to and from my wedding! Sherri handled Penny with care and professionalism my entire wedding ceremony, and before & after for photos. She was dressed professionally in case she appeared in any photos while handling Penny, and even got Penny dressed in her flower girl outfit for us. I dropped Penny off with Sherri in the morning with her outfit and food, and let Sherri know that Penny is afraid of larger dogs and is more comfortable around puppies or a small group of mellow dogs. Sherri showed me around and where she would have Penny, and I even met the other dogs Penny would be around to make sure I was okay with it. She arrived with Penny at the hotel right on time, and handled her while we took photos. She stayed with Penny the entire time, even when my family was handling her or she wasn't needed at that particular moment. My cousin walked Penny down the aisle, and Penny stayed with the groomsmen during the ceremony. We had Sherri sit in the front in case she needed to take Penny, and she walked Penny back out when the ceremony was over. She stayed for as long as I wanted after the ceremony to take pictures and pose her. She then took Penny back to the facility where she stayed the night until we picked her up the next morning. Sherri even sent me text message updates that Penny was okay upon their return. Sherri was everything we were looking and hoping for and more to make it possible to have Penny in our wedding. I can't say enough great things about how caring and professional they were in such a milestone in our lives!
BEST DAYCARE EVER! I have been a client of YABF for six years now. Previous to finding YABF I used an independent dog sitter when we had only one dog who crated and left my baby all day until I came to pick up. So I was on the hunt to find the best, and I did with YABF! Like many paw-parents our girls (we have two corgis now) they are our babies. I can not say enough good things about Sherrie and her team. She not only is sensitive to my fears when we starting bringing our dogs to her, she is very thoughtful whenever I need extra help to come up with solutions. I write this because there are a lot of options for boarding and daycare, but it's when you need true help with a schedule or extra love for a pet that you see the true colors of people in this industry. I love her custom approach to pet care as not all families or pets are the same. I love that our girls are treated as though they were the pets of the team there. Our youngest (Ffion) was a Covid puppy. Since we couldn't leave the house she was not socialize or learned to be away from us. She has separation issues and the team is great with her. My dogs run to the gate to go in, and that's a good sign! Sherrie thank you for all you do for me and our family. Nia and Ffion are very fortunate to have you and your team care for them I can't recommend Sherrie and team highly enough. I need more stars. Please more stars!
We are ecstatic that we found Sherri, Dan, and family at YABF! We were planning for months to add a puppy to our family in April 2020. Then COVID hit, so we got the puppy (Blue) a bit earlier and developed a "pandemic puppy" who was extremely resistant to crate training. As things started opening more in 2021, we got a second puppy (Belle) to keep Blue company since he'd never been home alone. My husband and I have year-round commitments and travel spanning all hours. A few pack walk friends highly recommended Sherri for daycare needs at highly flexible hours. I was nervous because Belle had developed overexcitement and leash aggression on walks. Blue had some quirks of his own. We are SO GLAD we went by to meet Sherri and Dan. The environment they have created at YABF is beautiful. There are no crates and their expertise with dogs is amazing. Sherri gave me regular updates regarding their progress slow socializing with other dogs, including sending pictures. When it's time to go to YABF, we tell Blue and Belle they are going to "school" and the excitement is incredible. They run to get there and come back beautifully exhausted. Sherri has been super flexible with scheduling. I had a vet emergency with Blue and she was able to take Belle for daycare on minutes notice. If either dog is on special restrictions, they take great care. I trust them 100% with my pups. I've referred several friends here and they have had similar incredible experiences. I literally cannot say enough about the caring first rate service provided at Your Animal's Best Friend. My only regret: that I didn't go to them sooner! Thank you to everyone there for taking such fantastic care of my babies when I'm away!!!
edit 2/22 we had been boarding our beloved senior lab here for the last year. never longer than a week. we decided to leave her at YABF recently while we were out of the country for 2 weeks and weren’t contacted once throughout the trip to be notified that her behavior or eating habits changed. the only update received was that she was doing good a few days into the trip. when i picked up my dog on february 20, she was barely able to get up to greet me. her ribs and spine were completely visible and her abdomen extremely swollen. unprovoked, but seeing the look on my face, a staff member simply said, “we tried to get her to eat more.” charged me and i left. when we took her to the vet, she had lost 3lbs even with the swollen abdomen. sadly we had to put her down less than 24 hours later as we learned she had been suffering from internal bleeding due to a tumor that ruptured during her stay. this rendered her unable to walk or eat and was completely obvious to me upon returning to pick up the dog i left . yet all we got was “she seemed fine” “how could we have known” “sometimes we see older dogs act like that when they’ve been here a while”. i will not place blame with YABF for the passing of an aging dog, but it is unforgivable not to notify an owner of behavioral changes when that dog is in your care. i took additional care with each visit to leave specific medical contacts and instructions, knowing that anything can happen. i overlooked the unanswered emails and requests for updates. i truly believed she was taken care of and they were just too busy to get back to me. i took that risk with YABF in good faith that at least 1 person would keep a closer eye on an ailing animal and thought to call me or her vet if she stopped eating or showing any signs of distress. i had faith that in my absence, someone here would notice the weight loss, bones sticking out, limping that wasn’t there previously, or in our case, being almost entirely unable to get up. i regret that my beautiful animal spent the last couple weeks of her life here and in pain. that no one noticed or cared enough to see her suffering. we will forever be heartbroken and have to live with the consequences of that decision. senior dog care is not for the faint of heart, and as owners we should all do better to guarantee our pets just a fraction of the love they bestow on us during their short times. i stand by my previous statement that this facility is not responsible for the cycle of life, but i can’t condone any level of negligence to someone providing a service that advertises care. based on my devastating experience, i offer 2 stars and a strong recommendation to use extra precaution if leaving your animal here more than a few days, or however long they can get by on their own. you never know what will go unnoticed. i advise against bringing a senior animal here as well.
We have been taking our dog, Poppy, to Your Animals Best Friend, since she was just a puppy. Before her, my parents have taken their dogs here too, and have used their cat watching service when going out of town. We would not trust our pets with anyone other than Sherri and her helpful team. Poppy is always so excited when she arrives, and tuckered out from a long day of playing when it’s time to come home. We can tell they have her best interest at heart, and always makes sure she’s fed and has taken any allergy medications she needs. We feel better knowing that Poppy is not caged when we leave her there overnight and can snuggle up next to someone like she does at home.
Your Animals Best Friend is a hidden gem among doggie daycares, and I'm thrilled to share my experience with this remarkable establishment. A perfect word is "enrichment" center! As a seasoned rescue enthusiast with a long history of seeking out the best care for my furry companions, I've encountered numerous doggie daycares across different states. However, none have come close to the exceptional care provided by Sherri and her dedicated team at Your Animals Best Friend. Don't be deterred by the unassuming industrial building; this daycare is a slice of doggie heaven. Sherri and her crew not only welcomed my troubled puppy and me with open arms but also took on the challenge of addressing his severe separation anxiety. They worked tirelessly to rehabilitate him, and the transformation was nothing short of miraculous. My once-anxious pup now eagerly anticipates his visits, earning him the nickname "Wiggles" due to his sheer excitement upon arrival. Your Animals Best Friend is like leaving your dog with an extended family that genuinely loves and cares for your furry friend. Their unique business model sets them apart, making it the best doggie daycare I've ever encountered. This well-kept secret deserves recognition for its unwavering commitment to our four-legged companions. They do it all - just ask!
Hands down, the best dog boarding facility in the area! I’m always worried about my pup after she’s been there for X many days cause she’s so exhausted after… but still, every time we bring her back she’s pumped up and wagging her tail! So until the day she refuses to walk through those doors is the day we will think differently. We have yet to see that happen. They get to roam, option to swim, play all day and have staff sleep in bunk beds with them at night and I can spy on her during the day when I miss her with their cameras. Idk how it could get any better! We love all of the staff we have met. We’ve also brought our dog there a couple times for swim lessons and seriously, I don’t have anything negative to say. It also gets extra points for being so close to SNA or on the way to LAX! We LOVE this place!
This is the best and friendliest groomer I've ever used. They're super good about getting my dog in quickly. They're so sweet to my dog and he always looks amazing. They're also very flexible on drop off and pick up times unlike some other places that only give me short windows and want to charge all kinds of fees. I moved and still drive to Bone adventure because they're amazing
Wonderful staff & great faculty. My two cardigan corgis can't wait to get in the door for their 4 hour play time. This time, I was able to add swim time for an additional fee. The pups really enjoyed their visit.
We LOVE this place! We just got back from our third doggie swim session and my pups are super happy, enriched, and passed out for well deserved naps. The staff is amazing, my female dog is a very nervous girl and they are fantastic with her.
We waited for so long to get into this daycare for our blue heeler. They have way too many dogs. I had an employee tell me that our heeler was aggressive with the other dogs and kept herding them. Our herder doing want comes natural. Our dog became depressed and stressed to go in. I would not recommend this business to any one with a working dog. Lesson learned. We now have been at one in Laguna and our heeler has never been happier.
The staff is perfect. My dogs can’t wait get in the four which is very telling! It’s a bit pricey but worth it!
The best loved dogs in the world come here for the absolute best care away from home! This facility blows my mind. The wonderful owner Di has thought of everything: pools, shade, grooming, nap room and fantastic staff of dog fanatics that put serious into every interaction. Super clean, diligent attention to diet, meds and behavior. AND great access for commuters: easy on/off freeway access.
My dog loves coming here... They have a small doggie pool to keep themselves... Just a bit overpriced though
Place is really nice since it’s so close to my work. The staff is always extremely friendly and knew my dogs name after the first visit. It’s a little pricey but so is most day care. Cameras are a nice touch can log in and watch from anywhere. My pup loves water so their play fountains are perfect for him. Highly recommend this place.
Our Bella (cockapoo) loves Bone Adventure on Bristol! 🐶She has been going for probably 8 years or more and gets excited when we talk about her playing there. The owner Diane has been very welcoming and personable. Her staff are so attentive and fun! Their groomers have been wonderful. I’ve told friends how it feels like Disneyland for dogs🌈 Their fairly new pool has been a nice bonus to their backyard shallow pools/ponds 🐕 They are very accommodating and flexible. They have food if needed as well. Nice packages to keep prices reasonable. Big thank you to everyone there!👏
My dog loves it here! We found Rebel Run about 2 years ago. They treat my dog (and me) like a part of the family. As soon as we turn into the neighborhood, he perks right up... Once we get out of the car, he runs in and never looks back. It is nice to have finally found a place that gives me a piece of mind when I am out of town because I know my dog is happy and safe.
I used to take my Jack Russell here almost daily for daycare and occasionally for boarding when I lived in California. She absolutely loved this place. Highlights include a dog pool, outdoor space, great staff. I miss you all!
I have used Rebel Run for years. Our dogs get out of the car and run into the building. Kathy does a GREAT job...
The most excellent place for your pet, away from home! Loving, kind, caring, gentle and considerate of all their needs‼️❤️🤍💙
They really care and take excellent care of your dogs. I know they pay attention.
Our dogs love them!
Our dogs love and are loved as if they were home. Home away from home attitude is obvious to our pups.
Caring, loving, clean...my dogs love it here!
Wow....I just picked up my dog and she was covered in feces and urine! Of course, I didn't notice until she jumped into my car. But, who cares about the car when your pet has been mistreated. I came home, gave her a bath and she was whimpering the entire time. Literally, feces and dry urine was caked and matted into her fur! My wife called Rebel Run and they offered up a lame excuse, saying that she had an accident and they had hosed her off. If that was the case, why not offer a bath/grooming, or, at least tell me before she jumped in my car. Such horrible treatment of our dog.....never again. Check my Yelp review for pictures.
