Cat Sitting in Sanxay

Leah and her two little people, Lily and Arthur, are henceforth to be known as The Dream Team. We don’t go away often but when we do, we want Leah to come, but she’s usually fully booked - for months! Leah is very transparent, she’s brilliant with animals and ours love her. She knows exactly what she’s doing and her organizational skills are out of this world. Leah left the house spotless, the animals are always calm when we come back and we just know that they’ve been well cared for by the three of them. I know that Krafty, Django and Newton will miss them!

Kate was totally reliable in every respect. She came when she said she would, and left when she said she would. To facilitate her and our departure she came and stayed the night before and we spent a very pleasant eveing together. She was good at sending us photos of and reports regarding our dogs, a matter very close to the heart of dog owners deserting their dogs for any prolonged period! Either or both unexpectedly came into season during our absence, and she coped well with that, hopefully avoiding any illicit and unwelcome liaisons with the boys in the area ! Despite dreadful wet weather she coped well with the house and left it looking very neat and tidy. She even washed bedding and towels which I didnt expect, but was a welcome reduction of the post holiday chores. I did put her in touch with couple of my local friends as coming to a new area can be lonely if you are a sole sitter and I think she became interested in activities going on here as much as time allowed. We would be very happy if she were to return when we need further housesitting. We certainly had no doubts about her reliability during her stay

Melanie was very efficient at being in touch before the house sit. She was fantastic and I would highly recommend her. She was very organised and kept the house very tidy and looked after our puppy really well and sent us photographs and updates while we were away. We hope to have her again in the future.

Mike and Debbie were brilliant sitters .I could see from the start that the dogs would be very happy .They looked after the dogs so well and my cat and had lots of cuddles and lovely walks .They were very good company two and enjoyed a couple of evenings with them . My house was immaculate on my return and had a lovely dinner waiting for me . I highly recommend them .

Vanessa is an excellent sitter - the best. She is calm, practical and really great with dogs - not to mention a lovely person. My young dog learned a lot from her and from her own, wonderful dog, Humphrey. Humphrey is definitely part of the team as far as I am concerned. Storm Eustice struck whilst Vanessa was 'sitting'. She dealt with the fallout brilliantly. Definitely 'self-sufficient'. Lots of initiative and energy. It was a potentially anxious time being away but Vanessa made us feel completely relaxed. We felt very comfortable with Vanessa and Humphrey in our home. We hope very much that they will come and sit for us again.

we can only tell good things about Rowena and Paul. Comunication went smoothly. They only contacted us when necessary and to send pictures and videos of our fury friends. The house was really clean when we arrived (although we told them they didn't need to clean up anything). But most importantly they have a very good knowledge of animals and are really good with them. When we arrived back home ofcourse the animals were excited to see us but also very relaxed. We could notice they had had a good time with them. I would recommend them 100% and would love them to come back for housesitting next time we are going on holidays.

Sharon and Dave were absolutely fantastic We had lots of contact while we were away and felt very happy leaving our home and pets in their capable hands We were so grateful to return home to a very clean tidy house ,relaxed contented pets ,even the grass had been mown which was a wonderful surprise We look forward to their return visit next year We highly recommend Sharon and Dave Ali

I couldn't have asked for lovelier sitters than Eva & Guillaume. Their calm, happy energy meant my two boys were soon totally comfy and relaxed with their company. Eva sent me a little highlight video at the end of each day which had me smiling seeing how happy my animals were in their company and meant I could enjoy every minute of my time away with my family knowing all was going well at home. Everything in the house, stable and field was left spick and span and ready for my return. Thank you Eva & Guillaume from me, Bob & Bizarro you were absolutely wonderful.

Audrey really bonded with Dicey and he seemed very happy and comfortable in her presence. She is definitely a cat person and we felt at ease as soon as we met her. She sent us constant updates with cute photos at meals and playtime. We came home to a very happy boy! Our house was spotless upon our return which we really appreciated as well. It was cleaner than when she arrived. We did have an issue at the start of the stay where Dicey was let out and lost which caused us extreme anxiety and stress while we were overseas and powerless to help. To her credit, Audrey followed all of our instructions to leave the front door open for him and stayed up the entire night waiting for his return. She also spent hours looking for him before it got dark. Her response to this crisis was timely, responsible and efficient and we managed to get him back. Mistakes do happen and cats are extremely smart so we are still happy with the housesit, but feel like it’s important to mention that there’s no harm in leaving very clear and specific instructions and perhaps changing certain rules while you’re gone (we normally allow our cat on the deck with us which is how this happened). Thank you again for looking after our baby.

Kelvin was a Godsend! I was coming and going from home to England , and Italy and Kelvin settled in so well. as he is such a tough athlete with his bike and running shoes, he would sprint,walk or cycle the 7kms to my garden to feed Tom,Gingernuts and Tigger and the 2 baby tortoises now in their garden pen. He is very self sufficient and explored the Hérault valley on his bike. Very calm, very quiet we would be able to work alongside each other in my office area or upstairs living area. Stan was very smitten by Kelvin and for that I was always grateful. I would love him to return one day!
