Crème de la crème! Hands-down John and Susan were masterful caring for Karma our 8 year old Airedale who has quite the personality. They came a day early to review procedures and get acquainted with the house. They were exceptionally thorough, asked a lot of questions to gain clarify and to ensure expectations were met. And they were, in fact, they exceeded expectations! They managed Karma as if they were an extension of me. They sat with her in the middle of the night for hours during a thunderstorm. They cleaned and bathed her after she rolled in poop. They played relentless search games with her and took her for long walks daily. She looked like a happy girl in all the pictures. When we arrived back home, the house and gardens were immaculate. The plants were thriving quite well. John and Susan are amazing individuals all around They are fun to converse with, comfortable and easy to get along with, interested and interesting people. I highly recommend them for any kind of a sit with or without pets. I’ve already asked them to come back if they find themselves needing a place to stay, they’re always welcome!

Jane is amazing! She was great with my shy Persian cat (when I got home he was calm and happy) and kept me updated with photos and texts. She also cleaned the apartment for me before I got home, something that was very welcome. I would highly recommend her as a cat sitter. She's warm and kind and definitely good with animals.

Although Covid meant the sit didn't go ahead, I know from our regular zoom chats during their extended previous sit, that Janet and Terry are great pet sitters. They are very responsible and great with the cats, who obviously adored them. They had some charges with health issues and even had to learn how to do injections! I have rated them anyway based on what I saw and heard of their previous sit. Our trip was to have been a long one so we had a few meets to discuss the sit. We felt they would be perfect, and felt relaxed about leaving them in charge of our home and pets. They were responsive and really helpful guiding us in what would have been our first time using sitters. As covid started to hit we both, sadly, realised we wouldn't be going to the US and they would need to stay on in their current sit. Lots of communication and understanding as we and they went into lockdown and we've continued to catch up since. I hope we can use Janet and Terry in the future. All the best Zoë

Sandy & Ben are really lovely people and they took great care of our home. We couldn't have asked for a nicer couple to house sit. There was more to organise than we had expected which they took in their stride. When we had a leak in our roof for example, they did a fantastic job of managing the water damage and then helping to co-ordinate the repair. Between Sandy's organisational skills & green fingers, and Ben's DIY, there was no task too great. Their dog Bella is really sweet, we had serious pet envy, and they left the house absolutely spotless at the end of the sit. We would have no hesitation in recommending them to other homeowners, you'll be lucky to have them! Thanks again Sandy & Ben!

It was all plain sailing right from the start with Amanda and Barry, they were very accommodating, ensuring that they were in the country the day before I left, and even calling round for a visit beforehand, to get familiar with ‘the girls’ and everything at home. I felt that the girls were in safe and caring hands. I really hope that Amanda and Barry enjoyed their stay, even though the temperatures were sizzling the week of their stay in Cyprus!

Vint & Valentina were a joy to have looking after Finn whilst we were away for 3 weeks. They were both wonderfully caring, charming, considerate and very experienced with animals; they clearly love looking after them. Vint & Valentina seemed to enjoy exploring the area, with good walks and stimulation for Finn. They gave us regular updates and left the house immaculate.

Toby and Chloe were amazing pet sitters. It wasn’t the easiest sit - a nervous dog and 3 cats with various ailments and medication to have, but they took it all in their stride and cared for them so well without any issues. Our nervous dog Zelda warmed to them in just 2 days which is a record for house sitters so far! I also really enjoyed getting to know them over dinner the night before I left, they’re very easygoing and positive people. They also left the house spotless for when I came back. I would love to have them sit for us again. You can rest assured your house and animals are in safe hands with this lovely pair!

We were very lucky to have had Nia for our recent house sit. She communicated well before the sit and arrived as planned. We shared a meal before we left which gave us time to get to know her and tell her about the house and our pets. After we left it soon became clear the cats loved Nia and the attention she gave them. We literally cannot say enough positive things about Susan and Miranda! They are the best! From start to finish, they did an amazing job communicating with us, giving our 3 (somewhat needy) cats extremely high quality care and tons of attention, and keeping our house clean and plants watered. They took adorable pictures of the cats and sent them to us several times a day, played with them and gave them so much love and affection, and when we got home the house was even cleaner than when we left. We even asked them for some tips on how they were caring for the cats because our cats seemed happier and more relaxed than ever when we returned home to them! This was by far our best cat/house sitter experience to date. We hope Susan and Miranda are available again in the future to sit for us and would invite them back without hesitation.

strongly recommend Christine and Phil to housesit for your kitty. Our pets, Babbles and Cousin Eddy, and property, were in very good hands while we where away for two weeks. They had a fair amount entailed with two cats on different food and needs. Cousin Eddy, or Edoardo, is a barn cat we recently adopted. Eddy is very sweet and stays outside but hangs out the side door wanting to be petted and fed; Bubbles is an indoor cat. Both cats were spoiled by Christine and Phil! Christine and Phil were also very caring and attentive with the needs of our Airbnb guests. During the time we were away they kept us updated daily (including photos of the cats). When we came home, our house was perfect, with lovely fresh flowers, notes for us, and our cats had been well-cared-for. They are wonderful house sitters, and we highly recommend them. They were Five-star sitters of our house and cats!

Angel was absolutely the best house sitter we could have hoped for. She is a very warm, open and diligent person and our two cats adored her. She looked after our house and garden with really conscientious care. She won over our very timid cat, Billie, and sent regular photos of both cats looking supremely content which gave us perfect peace of mind. The house was completely spotless on our return and the garden was fabulous... no mean feat since there was a heatwave while we were away and she kept everything watered and in great condition. We would have Angel back at the drop of a hat and cannot recommend her highly enough.

Karen was an extraordinary house and pet sitter who I hope to invite back again soon. You would be extremely fortunate to have her take care of your pets and home. From the very beginning she radiated calmness, knowledge, caring and curiosity. We had a great initial conversation where Karen answered questions I didn't even know I should be asking, and asked excellent questions so she could be prepared and understand the special needs for both my cat and home. She flew into my city the day before I was leaving and stayed at a nearby hostel so that we could meet in person and do a walk through of my home. Karen sent wonderful pictures and updates while I was gone and asked questions when she wasn't sure about something. When I returned home everything was spotless and my cat was content. Chris was a fantastic cat sitter for our elderly and high maintenance kitty. Chris was the perfect combination of responsible and on top of her medication needs while also being calm and relaxed about her picky eating habits and the need to monitor her food and medication consumption.
