Third sit for us from Craig and Lesley. Like the previous two, the sit was straightforward from organising the sit, to arrival and right through the sit until we came home. We were kept updated throughout and when one of our cats unusually stayed out all night, they kept looking for her until she showed up again which really put our minds at rest. Craig and Lesley are very reliable, calm and a safe pair of hands. We’re so lucky to have them sit for us and highly recommend them! Thanks Craig and Lesley hope you can come back for a fourth sit 😊

Fiona was so very kind, we had an unexpected family funeral a few days before she was booked to arrive. I contacted her on the of chance she could come earlier which she did, a godsend to us . She then went off in her camper van for a couple days and returned to let us away as scheduled. We felt very relaxed leaving our boisterous whippet in her care, Dezzi loved her and we got lots of updates from their walks. I would thoroughly recommend Fiona for future sits.

Emma Jane took care of our little dog Ella just after we’d all lost her brother Kenny, and so we were nervous about leaving Ella just a few weeks after Kenny had died. Especially given that this was our first experience with Zeewoi. Emma Jane put our minds at ease as soon as we met her and Ella warmed to her very quickly. We received plenty of updates while we were away, and we came home to a very happy Ella and a very clean house. Thank you Emma Jane. Thank you Duncan & Lisbeth for being our first housesitters. A new experience for us so was not sure what to expect or do. Minty adored you both, so much so she wanted to leave with you in your car when you left and then sulked for the first 24 hours. Minty was not at all happy to see her mum and dad home who deserted her home again. Things have returned to normal again in our household. Thank you for leaving our home as you found it. Teddy absolutely loves Dave. Within minutes of him arriving he has come down from his hiding place and is circling his feet. They are best buddies. Dave did a lovely job taking care of our home and kept it lovely clean and tidy. He also sorted out an ant problem we weren’t aware of and was careful to buy pet friendly products.

Penny sat for us for 2 weeks looking after our collie. I couldn’t really be happier with the way it went. She did exactly what she said she’d do and was flexible enough to work around our plans. Cynthia was a perfect pet sitter for our little kitty. We knew from her extensive experience with cats that Nala was in good hands. She was extremely responsive via texts when we were away, ensuring us that the 2 of them were having a great time. She went absolutely above and beyond by scrubbing our bath and toilets to remove our mineral deposit rings that we haven't been able to get rid of! She even left the name of the product she used so we can get more in the future. The house was cleaner than when we left. We'll have her back anytime!

I'm delighted to have found Lisa as a sitter and hope to have her back again! She was detail oriented and clearly cared about my cats' well being. She asked good questions about the cats' routines and needs and about the house to be sure she'd meet my expectations and have a comfortable and successful sit. She communicated very well before and throughout the sit and even though I was unreachable for much of the time I was confident everyone was in good hands. Lisa left the house in immaculate condition and the cats were relaxed and happy when I got home. What a delight!

There are not enough words in the English language to express my deepest gratitude to Teresa and all the amazing love and care she showed my sweet cat Milo. From the moment she met Milo, I knew there was going to be a very special bond. He instantly relaxed when he first met and already looked so happy and at peace with her. The bond between the two of them only seemed to get stronger and stronger with every day that I was away. This two-week trip was so important for me as it was the first real "vacation" I had taken in a few years. I was in desperate need of a mental and physical break and knew that in order to have a true "time off', I needed to feel completely at peace with Milo being well-taken care of. Well my prayers were answered as Teresa was the "cat whisperer" I was hoping for. I could not have asked for a better, more compassionate, self-reliant, and intuitive sitter ! Teresa was also so diligent in sending me her daily picture and video updates of my cat. With every picture and video I saw, I knew that Milo was so happy being with her and I never worried for one minute while I was away. What a gift ! Teresa was also a serious life-saver for me as literally an hour before I was leaving for my trip, I found out my cat's tracker app was not working and after a few emails and phone calls, we found out the tracker's server was down. Teresa took the initiative to follow up with getting the tracker to work again which was a HUGE stress-relief for me . She is not only wonderfully savvy with animals but also with technology as well ! I feel so fortunate to have Teresa in my life now, not only as an amazing sitter for Milo but also as a wonderful friend for life! Thank you, Teresa for everything.... Milo and I so appreciate you .....

We are thoroughly pleased with and impressed by Daniel's kind, generous, and careful care of our cat and our house. He is a committed and experienced sitter who completely understands his role and responsibilities and also how to gently win the confidence and affection of a pet. He is an excellent communicator, and he kept us regularly up to date on our cat's well being--sending us texts and photos at least once/week as we requested. Our cat who is a little afraid of new people, grew fond of him, and we have returned to a very calm, contented cat. We highly recommend Daniel, and we ourselves would be thrilled to engage him again when the need arises.

Angel was absolutely the best house sitter we could have hoped for. She is a very warm, open and diligent person and our two cats adored her. She looked after our house and garden with really conscientious care. She won over our very timid cat, Billie, and sent regular photos of both cats looking supremely content which gave us perfect peace of mind. The house was completely spotless on our return and the garden was fabulous... no mean feat since there was a heatwave while we were away and she kept everything watered and in great condition. We would have Angel back at the drop of a hat and cannot recommend her highly enough.

We can not exaggerate the care and love Juliet and Laurent gave to our cat, Piero, during his the last few weeks of life. While we left for our trip thinking he merely had a bladder infection, his symptoms turned for the worse a weeks into their sit and later revealed he had cancer. No one would wish their sitter to need to hospice their cat but Juliet and Laurent showed such compassion for Piero and volunteered to be with him when we made the decision to put him down. It was an emotional time for all of us and we will be forever grateful to our two caring cat and house sitters. We have had many fantastic housesitters through zeewoi but Juliet and Laurent top the list. Their professionalism, constant communication and compassion were exceptional. Should you have the opportunity to have them in your home, do not hesitate to book them, you will have no regrets. We do, however, regret that they had such a short time with Piero and had to experience such a painful event.

Jinnie was an excellent house sitter for me and my cat Felix. Completely responsible and reliable and helpfully flexible. She was willing to work with me as I dithered on whether I was actually going to go on my trip (which was dependent on good weather), and when I finally decided on making my trip one day shorter. House was clean and organized on my return, and, more importantly, my cat was calm and relaxed on my return. I would happily have Jinnie come sit for me and Felix again.

They arrived when they said they would and were ready to go when we returned, making sure our cats were present before departing. Couldn’t be happier with We Love Animals. Spent two weeks away from flat and our cat and they were perfect. Not only did they care for our cat’s food and litter but they made sure she was happy and played with. It really was apparent that she loved spending time with Mew. The fact that we knew someone was caring for our home while we were away was also a bonus. Angela dropped us an email everyday with pictures just to keep us up to date and keep our minds at ease. Before we left we had an issue with accessibility to the main building, and she was great when dealing with that slight curve ball. We Love Animals were open, communicative and professional before and throughout our holiday, allowing us to actually enjoy our time away.
Would give 10 stars if I could. Angela is the most reliable cat sitter, doing all you would expect and more. Our cat adored her, and Angela is also on hand in case of cat-related emergencies. Would 100% recommend her to anyone. Daily photo updates, and has been just super professional. Thank you Angela!!

Angela has looked after my kitty for two years and has been absolutely incredible with her. Arya has behavioural issues and needs daily meds; Angela was amazing with persevering giving these to her despite the occasional cat attack! Angela's service is amazing value for the amount of care you get - I'm nervous about leaving my pet so I get daily texts with photos. Plus free plant watering etc, and when there's been a flurry of fur Angela has even vacuumed so there's not a mess to come home to. I'm sorry to have moved away from Edinburgh as I'm sure I won't find another cat sitter as caring and thoughtful (and who my notoriously suspicious cat will trust!) as Angela. 10/10 recommend!
An amazing service. I was very nervous leaving my cat while I went away but after I met Angela in the pre house visit I was put at ease. It is clear how much she loves animals and my usually timid cat went to her straight away...even climbed on her back. My cat was taking medication which was no problem for Angela and they sent me daily updates including pictures. I would not trust any other company to look after my girl! A***
To be able to leave my cats at home instead of taking them to a pet hotel is really great!! I’ve been really lucky to find We Love Animals. My cats love Anne and when she visits them sends me updates so I can be relaxed that they’re well looked after. I feel I can totally trust her and Angela and the system is very convenient.
Searched for years for a cat sitter we felt we could trust and came across We Love Animals last year and they have been sitting our cats ever since. From the first meeting they have been extremely professional and quickly earned the trust of both our cats - not the easiest of things as they have studiously ignored everyone else who has looked after them for us! Appreciate the daily emails and photos and all the other little touches they provide. We have no hesitation in recommending them for pet sitting duties.
Candyfloss Cats have been brilliant both times we used them. Their online booking and profile information work really well. It's lovely to see photos and have daily updates about how your pets are doing while you are away. I have to give them special thanks for stepping in at the last minute this Christmas too when our plans changed.

I can't even begin to describe how wonderful Anne and Angela have been! I desperately needed a pup sitter multiple times while staying in Edinburgh but usually do not trust anyone to look after my precious pup cargo. Thankfully, I was lucky enough to stumble upon these ladies. I and my pup, Penny, absolutely loved them on first meeting with them. I have anxiety; my dog has anxiety...and there was nothing but a complete feeling of relaxation and assurance with Angela and Anne, trusting that they would take excellent care of my fur baby. Penny was always happy and excited to see them! And they went above and beyond, arriving early, staying late when I was running late, taking Penny all over Edinburgh for walks and exploration, snuggling with her, feeding her, and sending a smorgasbord of photos of Penny's adventures to me. I would use their dog-sitting services again in a heartbeat! If you have any apprehensions about leaving your fur babies with a stranger, dispel them now. Anne and Angela will quickly become your and your fur babies' friends. Anne and Angela are the sweetest, kindest, funniest women around, brimming with Scottish charm and energy, and I literally can't thank them enough for helping me out and loving my wee lil Penny like I love her. I can’t recommend Gareth’s dog walking and home boarding enough. He walked my spaniel for several years, frequently returning him ‘dog tired’. He also boarded him at home, and my spaniel was very much at home. A dedicated dog walker who delivers excellent service.
Our pup would give Gareth ten stars if he could! He greets Gareth as though he is a member of the family, and absolutely loves his walks (we can tell from watching him on the daily clips Gareth posts!) Gareth is always professional and reliable, and will always try to help if you need an unexpected extra walk or visit. Our pooch has also had several holidays at dog tired HQ when we have been away, and is looked after like a prince (we have seen photo evidence of him sleeping upside down in front of the log burner, clearly very comfortable in his holiday home!)
I am full of praise for Gareth. He's such an enthusiastic and caring individual who really cares about the dogs he walks. Willow is very happy to go for her walk and Rosie, the pup, can't wait to join the pack. 5 star recommendation from me and the dogs!
Couldn't recommend Gareth highly enough to anyone needing their dogs looked after, our dog ollie has been going walks with Gareth for years and has also spent time at dog tired HQ being looked after and spoilt.
