Cat Sitting in Semoussac

Crème de la crème! Hands-down John and Susan were masterful caring for Karma our 8 year old Airedale who has quite the personality. They came a day early to review procedures and get acquainted with the house. They were exceptionally thorough, asked a lot of questions to gain clarify and to ensure expectations were met. And they were, in fact, they exceeded expectations! They managed Karma as if they were an extension of me. They sat with her in the middle of the night for hours during a thunderstorm. They cleaned and bathed her after she rolled in poop. They played relentless search games with her and took her for long walks daily. She looked like a happy girl in all the pictures. When we arrived back home, the house and gardens were immaculate. The plants were thriving quite well. John and Susan are amazing individuals all around They are fun to converse with, comfortable and easy to get along with, interested and interesting people. I highly recommend them for any kind of a sit with or without pets. I’ve already asked them to come back if they find themselves needing a place to stay, they’re always welcome!

Margaret and Mike were my 1st sitters and I couldn’t found anyone better. They kept posting pictures of Tilly at different venues. House was wonderful on my return. Would definitely have them again.

Julia was very kind and gentle with our two dogs and they sensed her sweet personality immediately. She arrived on time, took in all the information we gave and took the dogs out on her own to get to know them, which went very well. We returned to find the dogs well cared for and the house clean and tidy. Thank you Julia. We really appreciated your care and time.

When Frances and Anthony came to our home, I was a little concerned they would find our two boys Barney and Ross à little to big and Ross rather excitable.. Frances and Anthony were amazing they gave them lots of attention and most importantly love and time.. Thank you so much Frances and Anthony for caring for our boys.. We would highly reccomend them. Sasha was warm and reliable, and took great care of Ofi and our apartment while we were away. Communication before and during her stay were great, we loved the updates/photos she sent, and she made sure the cat was comfortable and cared for. The apartment was spotless when we returned, and Sasha even left a little lovely gift for us. Would have her stay again! Merci beaucoup :)

Nadia was an excellent house and pet sitter. I got pictures and videos of Rocky every day, she was excellent with communication leading up to my trip which really put my mind at rest. The house was left in pristine condition and Rocky seemed to have had a great time while I was away. What more could I ask for?!

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Gaelle and her amazing family! They cared for our pets as if they were their own, providing updates and ensuring their routines were followed. Our home was spotless when we returned, and the pets were happy, healthy, and clearly well-loved. Their communication was excellent throughout, giving us complete peace of mind while we were away. We highly recommend them to anyone in need of trustworthy, kind, and responsible pet sitters!

It was all plain sailing right from the start with Amanda and Barry, they were very accommodating, ensuring that they were in the country the day before I left, and even calling round for a visit beforehand, to get familiar with ‘the girls’ and everything at home. I felt that the girls were in safe and caring hands. I really hope that Amanda and Barry enjoyed their stay, even though the temperatures were sizzling the week of their stay in Cyprus!

Audrey really bonded with Dicey and he seemed very happy and comfortable in her presence. She is definitely a cat person and we felt at ease as soon as we met her. She sent us constant updates with cute photos at meals and playtime. We came home to a very happy boy! Our house was spotless upon our return which we really appreciated as well. It was cleaner than when she arrived. We did have an issue at the start of the stay where Dicey was let out and lost which caused us extreme anxiety and stress while we were overseas and powerless to help. To her credit, Audrey followed all of our instructions to leave the front door open for him and stayed up the entire night waiting for his return. She also spent hours looking for him before it got dark. Her response to this crisis was timely, responsible and efficient and we managed to get him back. Mistakes do happen and cats are extremely smart so we are still happy with the housesit, but feel like it’s important to mention that there’s no harm in leaving very clear and specific instructions and perhaps changing certain rules while you’re gone (we normally allow our cat on the deck with us which is how this happened). Thank you again for looking after our baby.

Kelvin was a Godsend! I was coming and going from home to England , and Italy and Kelvin settled in so well. as he is such a tough athlete with his bike and running shoes, he would sprint,walk or cycle the 7kms to my garden to feed Tom,Gingernuts and Tigger and the 2 baby tortoises now in their garden pen. He is very self sufficient and explored the Hérault valley on his bike. Very calm, very quiet we would be able to work alongside each other in my office area or upstairs living area. Stan was very smitten by Kelvin and for that I was always grateful. I would love him to return one day!
