As this was our first arranged sit we were understandably a bit nervous, however, our confidence grew throughout the process. When choosing Anna, her profile was such that it gave us some confidence that our fur babies would be well looked after whilst we were away. We needn’t have worried, right from the start communication with Anna was excellent and fairly early on we had a video call, which was really helpful, coincidentally Anna had a cat which was very similar to our Lucy, even down to both having a damaged right ear. Arrival arrangements were confirmed but sadly our timings were such that we were unable to meet in person. Sit date arrived, as did Anna and her son, and from the start pictures and videos and message updates were sent, again providing us with total confidence that the cats were not just being looked after, but being spoiled with lots of attention. On our return, again sadly our timings meant that we couldn’t meet in in person, the house was super tidy, and a load of bedding washed, even though we said not to bother. We could tell the cats were happy and had been well looked after and we didn’t get the normal cold shoulder from them like we used to get on our return. Anna also left us a gift which was a lovely gesture. Following this our first sit, I would not only welcome Anna back to our home with open arms but would totally recommend Anna and her son to sit for them and their fur babies. We have found the whole process very straight forward, but the key to it is good communication Final words to Anna, thank you soooo much.

Sarah was a really clean and tidy guest! Our cats unfortunately got diagnosed with mild cat flu just before we left on our trip but Sarah took everything in her stride and was able to feed them their daily medication without any issues. She was also able to provide text updates when we asked and also sent us a video and some photos of our babies which made our day! Both kitties seemed to be able to open up to her quite fast and were pretty relaxed when we returned home so it seemed they had a pretty good stay with her! Our only (very minor) issue was that our auto litterbox bin was too full which caused the excess clumps to be smashed and fell back into the clean litter, but we also understand our bin was hidden and it might be difficult to see that it was full and to replace the litter bag. Overall, we really appreciated Sarah's stay and would recommend her to others as a petsitter!

Chenny was an absolute gem as a pet sitter for our cat Dusty! From the get-go, she made us feel at ease with her warm approach. She planned her trip according to our requirements to meet Dusty and get a feel for our place before our departure. She came prepared and had studied our guide before her arrival. Throughout our time away, Chenny kept us updated with adorable photos and videos of Dusty, which was such a treat. It was obvious from the updates that Dusty was content and well cared for. When we returned, our home was spotless and Dusty was as happy as ever. Chenny was super reliable, a great communicator, and really flexible with our specific needs. Steffs and Lisa are a treasure! They’re loving, reliable, and radiate a calm, harmonious energy that gave us peace of mind from the start. This was our first long trip away from Singapore, and with our Chewbie now a senior with stable but delicate health, we were a little nervous. Steffs and Lisa carefully reviewed our instructions and asked for clarification when needed. In our absence, they were autonomous and precise in maintaining Chewbie’s routine. They gracefully managed the tricky task of giving him a diuretic medication that requires seven pee walks in a day every two weeks. Chewbie, who’s quite the expressive dog, looked happy and relaxed in the regular photo updates we received, his eyes shining with friendship. When we got back, he was content and chilled out. Our plants were thriving with new growth and blooms, way beyond our expectations. We had asked Steffs and Lisa to water our indoor and outdoor plants just enough to keep them alive in the hot weather, but they clearly have a green thumb! Everything in our home showed their heartfelt care. Without us asking, they left our apartment clean and welcoming, with freshly laundered bedsheets. Their communication was clear, respectful, and just right. Steffs and Lisa didn’t just pet sit; they earned our trust as deputy pet parents to our beloved Chewbie. We’ll definitely invite them back in the future. If they apply to sit at your place, consider yourself very lucky!

Joshua and Rebecca were excellent house sitters. They sat our two cats while we were away in the UK for 2 weeks. They were very communicative during the period, with photos and videos of our cats and even sending us a virtual card to congratulate us on our wedding. They had to apply medicine to one of our cats during the sit and did so with no issue. Our flat was immaculate when we came back and they were self-sufficient during their stay. Would recommend them to anyone and would happily welcome them back - they are a great couple!

Kira was the best sitter we have ever had! I chose Kira because of her reviews, ability to sit during the dates I needed and willingness to communicate with my daughter/neighbor who co-parents Colby with us. I am always a bit anxious about having someone in my home and trusting them with our fluffy son. Kira put us at ease almost immediately. I received photos and videos everyday throughout the stay. I got updates on Colby’s activity and the fun they were having together. My heart felt full knowing that Colby was being well loved and cared for. Additionally, Kira was so kind to keep us posted on any deliveries that arrived at the house. Finally, when I arrived home, the house was tidy and clean! Wow, what a find Justin is! I feel as though I won a lottery. As I was revelling in the communication we were having during his stay, I looked over his profile and realized either that he had updated it during his stay OR I never even read it. I was so impressed with his initial application that described multiple stays taking care of cats in Turkey that I knew he was going to be a great choice. So I'm not sure that I even read his profile or reviews. Turned out...he was more than I could have EVER hoped for. Justin is VERY organized and clear with his communication. Just as--or maybe more--important, he is a poster child for what zeewoi can be: more than just an economical way to get a pet sitter or a place to stay. Justin embraces the barter economy and the opportunity it presents to get to know people. Although we only met the day that I turned the house and my 2 cats over to his care, we had delightful communication throughout his stay. He wanted to be sure he was providing the right care to all living and non-living elements of my home as well as just chat beyond what we'd had an opportunity to cover when we were face to face on the handoff day. Bottom line: I'd have Justin back even if I wasn't going anywhere! I've met a friend. And my neighbors did as well! Oh yes, and my two cats were well looked after, the house was in ship shape, and Justin was able to brief the next sitter in person (I'd had to extend my time away and Justin already had another commitment). To say I felt confident leaving my pets and home in Justin's care is an understatement. Justin is a real adventurer and believer in the power of both human and animal connection. Without a doubt, I would recommend him as a sitter...and a friend! Thank you, Justin for a great example of how to wrestle so much more meaning out of zeewoi.

Kathy and Ron arrived at our home with a most fantastical toy for our cats and a giant apple pie. Need I say more? They are very experienced sitters and brought personal items that they prefer. We knew we were leaving out cats in good hands. A large part of their 'job' was hand watering our garden and Ron took that in stride. Everything is thriving. Our cats are usually distant with new people but we received photos of them keeping Kathy and Ron company in various situations which was reassuring. They clearly won our cats over. Although Ron and Kathy had a ferry to catch on their last day, they took time to wash their linens and hang them on the clothesline. They also left us a gorgeous plant for our garden. We would very much like to have them back for a longer sit if possible.
