Cat Sitting in Slocan

Bernadette bonded very quickly with our dog Molly and took great care of her, surpassing our expectations eg she combed her even though we had not asked her to (she did ask us if it was ok first!) She was aware that Molly can sometimes be reactive and managed her as we do by being observant and avoiding potential situations. She was easy to contact, from the first zoom interview and throughout her stay. She kept us up to date and worry free and left the house in good condition. We are happy to recommend Bernadette and look forward to having her come again.

ML was a fantastic sitter for Maisie and Chester. She bonded with the dogs very quickly and looked after them so well, including needing to administer quite a few drugs to Chester for most of her stay. ML was communicative and always kept in touch with us, providing regular updates on our beloved dogs and all their adventures with her. ML also looked after the house incredible well and it was spotless when we returned. I would have no hesitation in recommending ML to house sit and we very much hope she will return to sit for Maisie and Chester again.

Andrea was everything I hoped from a pet sitter. She is caring, responsive, and trustworthy. She treated my home and my baby as her own. I came home to a house that was probably even more tidy than when I left (quite a relief after travel). I also got daily photos that were absolutely beautiful and showed me how happy my pet was in her care. I hope Andrea will sit with us again! Thank you, Andrea!

Lesley and her mom, Rebecca, sat for our 3 cats and 1 young dog. They are both upbeat and very smart. We enjoyed a dinner together before I left town, which helped reassure me that they were a great fit. Lesley and her mom love animals and hit it off very well with our VERY active 1 year old mini bernedoodle, who is very clever and likes to see if he can coerce new people to do his bidding. They were very consistent with reinforcing the training I am working on and added some of their own. I could tell he really loved them both. The cats seemed very happy and well cared for. During the week, our dog had some vomiting and Lesley set up a vet appointment and did a great job managing some meds for the rest of the week and kept a detailed log of both his feeding and medication. She communicated promptly with me when they decided it might be smart to have him checked out at the vet. When we returned, Lesley gave us a very thorough debrief. The house was super tidy and they went above and beyond (changing the cat litter, etc.) I would say that if you are someone who wants a lot of pictures and updates, you should be specific. Lesley is happy to provide same, but also is very self sufficient and does not send a lot of updates unless there is something to report or unless you request. They were great sitters and I would happily use them again.

Katie was simply the absolute best house sitter I could have asked for. She was reliable, very accommodating with the dates I needed a sitter for, and stayed in touch before and during the house sit. My dog loved her instantly and I got updates and pictures of their daily adventures during my whole trip. I came home to a happy dog and a wonderfully clean space. I can't say enough good things about the experience! I would 100% trust her with my home and dog again!

Linda is a fantastic house/pet sitter and all around wonderful person. From the moment I started talking with Linda, she was communicative, warm, personable and really cared about my cat Honeykins. Linda kept me updated with emails and whatsapp messages intermittently when I was away which was perfect. I totally truseted Linda in my home and would have her stay again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend Linda for any pet/house sit.

Brittany and Christ were very careful with our pets. They take good care of the house and outstanding care of my dogs. They play with them, take them for walks and enjoy their company. I’m very grateful to find such a good sitters for my furry babies. They send me updates everyday and everything goes great. I’ll be happy to host them again at home.

It was a pleasure having Zoey stay at my place and take care of Dan. Zoey is a warm, kind person, who is reliable and very caring. My place was spotless when I returned with new linens on my bed and garbage taken out. My cat was well cared for as well. I would recommend Zoey to anyone looking for a house sitter.

Arielle & her partner were not only so friendly and lovely but also reliable and organized. They went out of their way to help us leave for our trip ontime, which meant booking an early ferry and took Loki on all of his fav walks. They allowed me to have a total stress-free trip and I couldn’t be more appreciative! Come back anytime & I highly recommend! Loki isn’t the easiest dog in the world but they made it seem like he was 🫶 thank you so much guys!
