Bridget (Bee) sat for us for three weeks this summer. This was the second time she had looked after Maggie and our house, and we have asked her back again this Christmas, which I think says it all! Bee is warm, friendly, kind and considerate. Her first priority is always to make Maggie happy and feel loved, and we have come home to a very content dog, who I think is missing Bee a lot! Bee sent us photos or videos on a daily basis while we were away, telling us what she'd been up to with Maggie. She looked after our garden beautifully - we came back to a perfect lawn and a well-watered, happy garden. It was wonderful to know that she was enjoying the house and garden while we were away, and she left everything spotless. We couldn't recommend Bee enough and fingers crossed she can sit for us again! x

Thanks to Zeewoi for introducing us to the most wonderful family! Emily and Elliot are absolutely lovely, kind and communicative, and we couldn't have asked for a more suitable match for our home and Oggi. Nothing flummoxed them, and they were incredibly accommodating with our timings and house. Our baby boy clearly adored them and has welcomed them as part of the pack, and I hope they will be back for another sit if they'd like some more Oggi cuddles! They are also very experienced house and pet sitters and seem to not be phased by anything or any pet, so I think any home or pet owner could be absolutely confident leaving their homes in their care.

Cynthia was a perfect pet sitter for our little kitty. We knew from her extensive experience with cats that Nala was in good hands. She was extremely responsive via texts when we were away, ensuring us that the 2 of them were having a great time. She went absolutely above and beyond by scrubbing our bath and toilets to remove our mineral deposit rings that we haven't been able to get rid of! She even left the name of the product she used so we can get more in the future. The house was cleaner than when we left. We'll have her back anytime!

Brian is a very professional sitter that does a good job, pays attention to details and is easy to work with. I have a lot of plants. A lot. He suggested me do a video for the plant care so he could be sure of which ones needed what. Brilliant! I’d never thought of that. They were in great shape when I returned. I explained that I needed some flexibility with travel dates, he agreed and rolled with the punches like a champ when my dates did indeed change. Unfortunately, he was a bit allergic to my cat but made it work anyway. He was really awesome about everything including a tree that fell next door in a storm and blocked the road for three days. I appreciate that he appreciated how funny and how much personality Boo has. They got along well and I received some great videos. I returned home to a happy cat and a house well taken care of 😊. Lindsey was super communicative, friendly, responsible, and an excellent sitter for our two cats. When we returned, our home was clean and our cats relaxed and happy as if we had never left ! She sent us photos and updates every day, as requested, and when a random mishap occurred in the apartment, she let us know right away and was proactive in handling issue. She regularly checked in with updates on moon while we were away on a two week vacation, and seemed to give her plenty of attention, play with her, etc. Communication was easy and she left our apartment spotless after departing. Wow, what a find Justin is! I feel as though I won a lottery. As I was revelling in the communication we were having during his stay, I looked over his profile and realized either that he had updated it during his stay OR I never even read it. I was so impressed with his initial application that described multiple stays taking care of cats in Turkey that I knew he was going to be a great choice. So I'm not sure that I even read his profile or reviews. Turned out...he was more than I could have EVER hoped for. Justin is VERY organized and clear with his communication. Just as--or maybe more--important, he is a poster child for what zeewoi can be: more than just an economical way to get a pet sitter or a place to stay. Justin embraces the barter economy and the opportunity it presents to get to know people. Although we only met the day that I turned the house and my 2 cats over to his care, we had delightful communication throughout his stay. He wanted to be sure he was providing the right care to all living and non-living elements of my home as well as just chat beyond what we'd had an opportunity to cover when we were face to face on the handoff day. Bottom line: I'd have Justin back even if I wasn't going anywhere! I've met a friend. And my neighbors did as well! Oh yes, and my two cats were well looked after, the house was in ship shape, and Justin was able to brief the next sitter in person (I'd had to extend my time away and Justin already had another commitment). To say I felt confident leaving my pets and home in Justin's care is an understatement. Justin is a real adventurer and believer in the power of both human and animal connection. Greetings Pet People, I am a bit late leaving my review for Kristine who is local to us and has taken care of our kitties Max and Luis a few times this year. After COVID-19 was announced in March, our travel plans came to an abrupt halt. We had to cancel a lot of trips we had planned but decided that it was safe to go camping a couple of times this summer. We called on Kristine as one of our favorite sitters on this site. We discussed safety protocols and agreed to cleaning that we would do to leave the house safe for her to enter. She shared protocols that she had taken with other homeowners and had sound processes to make us feel safe leaving our cats and our home in her care. She even purchased batteries for our automatic cat feeder when it failed to let one of our confused kitties to eat. Kristine is a smart, humorous and a thoughtful person. I would not hesitate to recommend her for your sit. She truly loves animals and taking care of your home. Highly recommended! Thanks Kristine!

Our house was in good order when we got back and Steven was kind enough to give us a lift to and from the airport. He was very flexible, arriving day early so we could show him around.

Dogs Day Care is one of the best decisions I’ve made for my pup! Winnie LOVES attending and is so excited each time she goes. Karen is amazing and is so caring towards every dog there. I was a little anxious when my miniature sausage dog went for the first time at a young age but Karen was very reassuring and sent me regular updates and pictures to let me know Winnie was doing okay. The area of which Dogs Day Care is located is beautiful and there is lots of land for the dogs to go for their daily walk. A life of luxury! I couldn’t recommend Dogs Day Care enough and I wouldn’t send Winnie anywhere else!
My dog absolutely loves going to Dogs Day Care. Fantastic location for the dogs to play - acres of private fields for walkies as well as their own garden to enjoy throughout the day with great facilities doggy sandpit and pool for the summer as well as Indoor areas that are just like being at home. Karen is great with the dogs and my boy always come home tired out and eager to go the next day. Highly recommended Dogs Day Care to anyone!
Our dog Coco has been attending daycare for 5 years now & has loved every session. She jumps out of the car and makes herself straight at home. Karen & Jim treat her like a princess, she enjoys the long walks, paddling pool, playing with her friends, and her favourite bed under the heater in the winter. We would highly recommend this amazing doggy daycare & have done to all our friends who now also attend, keep up the good work!
I highly recommend this doggy day care. Karen and Jim are friendly and welcoming ensuring the doggies are well looked after and tired when you collect them. My Labrador has been going for about 6 years and our recently rescued spaniel has now joined the crew. Both absolutely love running around the fields and playing with the other dogs. Fabulous place.
My Springer Spaniel, Milo, has been with Karen and the team for around five years now. I honestly wouldn't leave him with anyone else. From the moment I met Karen and saw the beautiful land the dogs can enjoy, paddling pool, sand pit and cozy beds, I knew it was the best place for him and that he was in the best hands. Milo loves turning into the drive and cries with excitement the whole way down to Day Care, then snores the whole way home! Thank you so much to the whole team for looking after him so brilliantly, and for tiring out my Dartmoor Beast!
Great location for any dog owner to leave their dog. Dogs day care is set on private land with plenty of room for dogs to run around. My dog loves going to day care & always comes home tired. I wouldn’t go anywhere else! 100% recommend Karen and the team to look after your fur baby!
Very professional set up. The dogs are cared for as if they are their own whilst also not being allowed to just ‘free roam’. They introduce new dogs calmly to the group and restrict numbers for safety of all. Large green site with a controlled dog walk included. Very rural and not a concrete play park like some others locally.
Dudley has been going to Dogs Day Care with Karen ( and Jim) and all his doggy friends, since he was 12 weeks old ( and his predecessor, Dillon, before him) He always leaps out of the car and is delighted to be there. He has lots of walk, games of ball and cuddles and usually doesn’t want to come home! Many are the days when I would happily stay there and send him to work in my place - he definitely has the better deal!
Karen and her team have been looking after Big Norm for a fair few years now, and they do so as if he was their own. He loves it there and always comes home shattered from all the exercise (sometimes muddy too - but that's mostly his own doing!) , but always desperate to go back. It's a fabulous facility, all the dogs are so well looked after and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dogs Day Care to anyone who asks!

Having both retired, we planned a once in a lifetime 6 week trip to Australia, but were very anxious about leaving our pets, particularly our dear dog Barley. Jenny juggled schedules in order to fit around our dates, so that Glenn and Mandy were able to cover the whole of the time. They took excellent care of our home, our cat Chip's, and our precious boy, communicating with us regularly via WhatsApp, attaching pics and videos to reassure us.
Glenn & Mandy were excellent pet sitters. They visited us before our trip to meet us and our two spaniels. While we were away they kept in touch with photos & videos. We returned to two happy dogs who had been very well looked after. We have booked Glenn & Mandy again for next year and Jenny for our autumn trip. Highly recommended.
Instantly took to everyone concerned at the Running Duck Pet Services. Jenny is incredible at communicating and arranging cover, and Glenn and Mandy are fabulous with all our pets. We see the delight when they arrive on our Pugs faces, and it's non stop love, care, attention and frolics from the minute they arrive. We are kept up to date with pictures and communication daily whilst we are away. The Running Ducks are our absolute favourites, and they are now part of the family. All of them are such lovely genuine people. Highly recommend, although don't book them up too much please, as we need them free to cover our pets!!!
We would highly recommend Glen and Mandy. Our English Foxhound is a rescue and can get worried when new people first come to the house, so we were a little apprehensive at someone coming to stay. Glen and Mandy kindly came over one morning before the holiday and in no time Buddy was wagging his tail and Glen was his new best friend. From then on, we felt confident that Buddy would be very happy with them and we were right. Just back from holiday and Buddy has had a great week, with lovely walks, games and being spoilt and is his happy, relaxed self. Thank you for understanding our boy.
Glenn and Mandy looked after our 2 dogs and cat for 10 days. One of our dogs takes medication twice daily so it was important to us to feel comfortable with the people looking after them. Straight away Glenn put us at ease, he discussed everything we would need and reminded us of things we had not even considered, ie informing vets etc. We got daily updates from Mandy, enough to ensure our minds were at ease but timed perfectly so as not to bombard us during our time away. Our plants are in better condition than when we left due to Glenn's green fingers. Cannot recommend them enough, and have already booked next year's holiday!
We recently nipped off for some sun, leaving our two Lardy Labs in the very capable hands of Running Duck. This is our second trip since moving to Wiltshire and because Glenn was already booked, George came up from Dartmoor to attend to their every need 😆 We got regular photos of their hikes and chill out sessions, but we never worry about them when away as we know how much love and attention they are showered with. The house is always clean and tidy on our return, which is an added bonus. We would not hesitate to recommend Running Duck for not only your Fur Babies, but your home too.
This was the first time we had left our 2 year old lab overnight and we were apprehensive, mainly due to her suffering occasional seizures and needing daily meds, but from the start Jenny was great, she put our minds at ease. Communication was clear and responses speedy. Skye warmed to Glenn quickly and we have felt confident in booking a holiday for next year, so thank-you Running duck services, we would highly recommend Glenn & Mandy :)
