Retired couple wanting to see the world.
What a blessing meeting and getting to know Kevin and Cindy. I hope they will want to return to care for Gracie and allow us to enjoy their company.

Seasoned traveler and pet companion seeks house sitting opportuities
Jane was outstanding as a pet sitter and as a person. She coped with Irish bad weather and not so great public transport with ease and good humour. She maintained our house perfectly and left some nice food and a lovely gift for our return. Our cat was in the best form ever following our trip and told us that Jane was his favourite and could she come back again sometime…

We treat your pets like our favorite grandkid.
Julie and Greg were great pet sitters for our 2 cats, Harry and Ron. They communicated their travel plans and arranged to come to our house a couple of hours early so we could introduce them to the pets and their care, and show them around the house. During the sit, they sent us regular updates and pictures, which was greatly appreciated. They kept meticulous care of the house, and even mowed the lawn for us while we were gone. I would definitely like them to return and feel totally comfortable recommending them to others.

Adventurous, reliable mom & registered nurse seeking next journey.
Heidi arrived after she had to experience major delays in airports, flight cancellations and and rerouting. She never gave up! Totally committed from start to finish of the sit she was looking after our horse and she also made friends with our dogs and our parrot. All our animals are rescues and it usually take them some time to accept strangers but Heidi with her calm demeanor had them eating out of her hand in no time. I can only recommend Heidi highly and she is welcome at our place any time.

This was our first time using zeewoi and we were a little apprehensive, especially as we were going away for almost 5 weeks, but we really didn’t need to be. Mary and Kevin were fantastic from the start. They had excellent communication and put us at ease straight away. They looked after both our cats with lots of care and we came home to two very happy and content kitties. Mary and Kevin struck the balance just right whilst we were away by keeping us informed of how the cats were and sending pictures of what the cats were up to every couple of days. It was so lovely to know that the cats were enjoying themselves and being so well looked after whilst we were away. Mary and Kevin also looked after our house extremely well and we came back to a very clean and tidy home. We would definitely recommend Mary and Kevin to anyone needing a house sitter and would love for them to sit for us again if they were ever back in the area.
Sharon and Milton were outstanding sitters and if I could give more than 5 stars I certainly would. Reliable, communicative, helpful, self sufficient and tidy, they took great care of my home. More importantly my cats were lovingly cared for and extremely content when we returned. I highly recommend Sharon and Milton without reservation and hope to have them return in the future.
Kerry and Megan were wonderful sitters and took great care of our two cats while we were on vacation for two weeks. They were responsive, gave us regular updates, and seemed to really care about Tumba and Cappa. When Tumba was more timid toward the beginning of our trip and not eating her meals fully, Kerry was sure to ask for additional suggestions from us on how to coax her to eat more. Kerry and Megan also left the house just as we'd left it for them. We really appreciated them going the extra mile to ask about additional cleaning products so they could clean our bathrooms. It felt great to come home and just relax without needing to remake the bed. Thanks for everything, Kerry and Megan! We would certainly entrust our home and kitties to you again in the future.
Cung is a diligent and communicative cat sitter and house guest, and we'd highly recommend him! We hope to have him back again soon
Brian is a very professional sitter that does a good job, pays attention to details and is easy to work with. I have a lot of plants. A lot. He suggested me do a video for the plant care so he could be sure of which ones needed what. Brilliant! I’d never thought of that. They were in great shape when I returned. I explained that I needed some flexibility with travel dates, he agreed and rolled with the punches like a champ when my dates did indeed change. Unfortunately, he was a bit allergic to my cat but made it work anyway. He was really awesome about everything including a tree that fell next door in a storm and blocked the road for three days. I appreciate that he appreciated how funny and how much personality Boo has. They got along well and I received some great videos. I returned home to a happy cat and a house well taken care of 😊. I would definitely recommend Brian.
Nathalie and John were great! They were great house sitters to watch our two dogs, 2 geckos, our old cat and bull frog. Their two girls took good care of the animals as well. The house was exactly how we left it. We really appreciated their help!
Kathy and Ron arrived at our home with a most fantastical toy for our cats and a giant apple pie. Need I say more? They are very experienced sitters and brought personal items that they prefer. We knew we were leaving out cats in good hands. A large part of their 'job' was hand watering our garden and Ron took that in stride. Everything is thriving. Our cats are usually distant with new people but we received photos of them keeping Kathy and Ron company in various situations which was reassuring. They clearly won our cats over. Although Ron and Kathy had a ferry to catch on their last day, they took time to wash their linens and hang them on the clothesline. They also left us a gorgeous plant for our garden. We would very much like to have them back for a longer sit if possible.
Toby and Chloe were one of the best house sitters we have ever had! As a small animal vet I have seen many types of pet sitters and these guys are top notch. Our pets are not easy either. We have special needs dogs, cats on medication, dogs with behavioral issues, horses, chickens, goats and a large (100 lb) Sulcata tortoise who needed close monitoring of the temperature in his barn. Everyone was thriving and happy when we came home. They read through the packet and asked thorough, thoughtful questions. They went above and beyond grooming, mucking and grazing the horses and goats everyday. They chopped greens and fruit daily for our tortoise. If we had known how amazing they were we would have booked a 3 week trip instead! Can't recommend them enough.
If you are looking for someone to take care of your fur babies and your house while you're away, Daniel is your guy! I had discovered zeewoi just a couple of weeks before I was to leave on vacation and I was not only apprehensive if the website was too good to be true, but also under a real time crunch. I reached out to over 100 local sitters and several possibilities fell through. I was confident I would find the right sitter and when Daniel applied for the sit and I started to text and converse with him, I knew I had found the perfect sitter for my two cats! Daniel was upbeat and positive, articulate and personable, warm and caring, and he asked all the right questions about Lilly and Eli (I hadn't had the time to complete my Welcome Guide, yet!?!). I shared that I had an easy cat and problem cat -- Lilly, who is sweet, social and eats dry food, and Eli who is skittish, was periodically pooping outside the kitty litter box and was eating prescription canned food twice a day mixed with a probiotic and stool firmer. I asked if he thought he was up for the job and he happily said he was. Since he flew all the was from Chicago, I thought the least my husband and I could do was pick him up at the airport. When he arrived, he pulled out his notebook. He patiently walked with me as I reviewed kitty care, showed him around the house, and where he would be sleeping. He immediately picked up Lilly who was excited about meeting her new friend and Eli bugged out and down the stairs to the basement (his favorite hiding place!). We got Daniel connected to the internet, set him up at our dining room table and headed off to airport, leaving our house and kitties in the best of hands. Daniel wanted to make sure I felt comfortable and assured while we were away. He made sure to text with me every other day (he had asked my preference earlier), sent photos of Lilly being her cute self while Eli hid during the day although he gave me assurances that he was eating his food and using the litter box (there were a few accidents, but Daniel never complained about these additional duties). When we returned from our vacation, the house was also spotless and well cared for and Daniel had even washed the sheets for me! It is with utter happiness and complete confidence that I recommend Daniel as a fantastic Sitter. He is trustworthy, responsible, caring, and competent, and you can rest assured that both your house and sweet pets will be watched over and treated with TLC -- and will truly be in the best of hands while you are away!
Cat and Paul were wonderful sitters - our cats were contented and calm when we returned. And the house was spotless. Plus Paul mowed our entire yard including the back meadow - what a surprise! We very much enjoyed visiting with them as well and getting to know them. Highly recommend :)
Is it better to board cats or leave at home?
Veterinarians advising to leave cats at home with a pet sitter who will stay overnight in your home, boarding is not recommended for cats as they are stressed in a new environment, you can find a sitter who will care for your cats and home for free at Zeewoi.
How much should you pay someone to watch your cat?
At least $20 per visit, $15/day per overnight watching in your home, otherwise you can find a free sitter at Zeewoi.
What do people do with their cats when they go on vacation?
Inviting a cat sitter to your home, boarding the cat with a local business, asking a friend, family or neighbour to feed and check the well-being. The most efficient way to leave your cat during your vacation is with Zeewoi cat sitters for free, in this way, you will save cat sitting costs and make vacation not only for you but also for your cat sitter!
Lou was very accommodating at the last minute for us. We boarded our dog with her for one night. She is a very sweet and genuine person, and she treats her guests with the utmost respect. We will definitely be boarding with her again in the future!
Dropped our 4 dogs off with Lu while staying in Osage Beach for 5 days. Lu was great! We have some challenging small dogs but Lu was able to get them all to warm up to her before the end of their stay. Kennel's were clean and Lu is definitely a great dog guru. Very reasonable prices, we'll be back when we visit next summer!
Lu was super helpful from the very beginning she let us know everything up front and when we got there my dog was instantly drawn to her. Our dog got a huge room where her large kennel and big pillow could fit and she still had quite a bit of room to roam. There are two outdoor areas that are very clean and the place was very nice. Lu gave us updates on our dog which made us feel much better! Hands down the best boarding experience I've had!
Ms. Lu runs a fantastic doggy-hotel! We were visiting the area from out of state and found Dogs Day Inn via Google reviews, we were not disappointed! Our dog had plenty of attention and enjoyed watching wildlife from is personal window! Ms. Lu showed great interest in our family, and even sent us pictures of our pup to help his human sibling deal with some separation anxiety! It was nice knowing that our dog was loved and not locked up in a small pen barking with other dogs all day. Thank you Ms. Lu, we hope to see you again!
Lu is Amazing--- 2 years ago I had to go on a unexpected trip and had to leave my dog at the vet boarding for 2 days. When I picked her up she was SO stressed out and upset for several days. Then last year a friend of mine told me about Dogs Day Inn and Lu the owner. I reserved a room (which she has rooms that are divided off like little bedrooms) for my dog and being the first time my dog met Lu she immediately took up with her and my dog is NOT a people person. That was very impressing to me. I left her there for 2 days and when I picked her up she was just like one little happy kid. I took her home and without any stress from being separated at all. She was her normal self. Then this last Friday I left her again overnight and again the same thing---a happy dog when I picked her up. This lady is amazing!! She really connects with these animals and treats them like they are her own. They get let out more often, get more attention unlike a regular kennel. Nowhere else but Lu's anymore. Thanks Lu Floyd and my dog Sara
Chewy Loves Dogs Day Inn Dog Boarding! My boy friend and I enjoy visiting the Lake of the Ozarks. But many of the hotels are not pet friendly and we don't want to leave Chewy alone while we are out having fun, so after searching the web we found Dogs Day Inn LLC. We visited the place and met the owner Lu before deciding on boarding here, the place was clean, no cages, and chewy made friends with a couple of other dogs playing outside first through the fence, then they all got to play together. We had a great weekend at the Lake and so did Chewy. From now on we will be boarding chewy at Dogs Day Inn anytime we are at the Lake of the Ozarks.
You can't ask for a friendlier dog sitter than Lu! From the moment I first called to learn more about her facility, to the time I picked up my little guys, Lu was pleasant to work with. She's a bit of a straight shooter, but you got to love that about her. I'd recommend her services to anyone!
We stayed at Lake of the Ozarks for a week in late April and boarded our 3 dogs at Dogs Day Inn so we could walk the state park trails with them in the mornings. Lu was very attentive to our dogs — one needed medicine twice a day — and she gave us easy access to them so we could take them out in the early evening if we wished. The kennel is very close to Lake of the Ozarks State Park, and we'd go there and walk the trails with our pups. The kennel was ultra clean and the there are no cages, just rooms. There are fenced areas where the dogs can stretch their legs. Lu seems very organized and has thoroughly thought out her setup. She checked our paperwork on arrival to ensure our dogs had their shots, including bordatella. That was comforting, too.
We always took Dakota our golden here he loved it had a great time and we would pick him up and let him swim in the lake and take him back. He always enjoyed himself. He has passed this year and we are waiting on our new puppy golden but when we visit the lake again this summer he will be staying at Dogs Day Inn LLC with Lu
Lu Harlan has kept my little rescue Chihuhua, Itsy, on many occasions. the past 2 years. Itsy is always excited to go see Lu and excited to come back home. She is always clean and well fed. In my opinion, you will not find a more loving and caring pet home away from your own home than at Dogs Day Inn.
