Fabulous, Faultless Five Star sitters! We were treated to daily photos, videos and anecdotes about our much loved pet, which our whole family could access, and we had absolute confidence that our dog was being loved and cared for as always. It was as if a family member was at home. Local friends saw them out on walks and our dog always looked happy, under control and well cared for. We didn’t meet this lovely couple unfortunately, but they were totally reliable and communicated efficiently to advise of their arrival and departure times, they are super organised and didn’t ask any unnecessary questions. The house was spotless on our return despite the fact our dog moults at this time of the year, all areas were thoroughly clean and tidy, and we had a helpful handover note. We couldn’t have asked for more, and don’t hesitate to recommend Claire & Mike!

We met with Gill and Clive prior to our trip and were very happy. They were very friendly and engaging and our dogs instantly bonded and played. Gill and Clive arrived on the day of our trip as planned and provided updates every couple of days during our trip, putting our minds at rest. Upon our return, our house was very clean and tidy and Gill had very kindly provided us with some basic essentials (bread, milk & eggs). Our dogs were happy and it was clear they had been very well cared for. We could not recommend Gill and Clive any higher to other zeewoi members.

This was our first time using zeewoi and we were a little apprehensive, especially as we were going away for almost 5 weeks, but we really didn’t need to be. Mary and Kevin were fantastic from the start. They had excellent communication and put us at ease straight away. They looked after both our cats with lots of care and we came home to two very happy and content kitties. Mary and Kevin struck the balance just right whilst we were away by keeping us informed of how the cats were and sending pictures of what the cats were up to every couple of days. It was so lovely to know that the cats were enjoying themselves and being so well looked after whilst we were away. Mary and Kevin also looked after our house extremely well and we came back to a very clean and tidy home. We would definitely recommend Mary and Kevin to anyone needing a house sitter and would love for them to sit for us again if they were ever back in the area.

Florence and Robert were outstanding sitters. We asked them to arrive a day early as our guests to learn the routine on our farm. In getting to know them we found them to be good hearted, down to earth people with a love of animals and diligent in learning our routines to care for our poultry, cats and dog as well as our garden and orchard. Not a typical or easy sit. We travelled with ease knowing our critters were being well taken care of. Arriving home, the house was very clean and looked well cared for. The animals were healthy as were the garden and orchard. Out pets missed them when they left – our dog stared down the driveway after them until their car was out of sight. It is nice to find sitters we would like to hang out with and we look forward to having them sit for us again.

Ally was great! We got to meet for a few minutes before I headed out and I felt super reassured that both Goose and my home were in good hands. My cat is picky when it comes to strangers, but he was comfy in Ally’s lap right away the first night! She communicated well and sent cute pictures while I was away. My home was clean and Goose was happy when o got back. I highly recommend Ally as a sitter and she’s welcomed back anytime!

Young was the perfect house sitter for us. From the moment you meet her, you can tell she is animal person and is detailed oriented and will take great care of your house and pets. She exudes a peaceful and grounded energy. She was comfortable with each our pets from the high energy dog to the shy skittish cat. She played with the dog in the yard every day and took him on walks. And she was also very attentive to our cats and figured out how to maintain the equilibrium in the relationship between the cats and dog. She is an excellent communicator; she asked questions when our directions weren't clear and kept us updated on the pets. She is also an amazing photographer. She sent us pics of our pets every day that totally captured each of their personalities.

Susan and Miranda are amazing! I've had the pleasure of working with many sitters and they are truly exceptional. They were great at keeping in touch, sent lots of updates, asked good questions, really bonded with the cats, clearly very experienced working with animals and understanding their needs, and generally lovely to deal with. They were really patient putting up with a whole bunch of deliveries and even assembled a spare bed! They also left the place spotless with clean sheets on the bed. I'm pretty sure the cats loved Susan and Miranda more than us by the end of their stay! I'd highly recommend them to anyone and would love to have them stay again any time.

Sharon and Milton are two of the nicest people I've met in my life. This is my first time having a sitter fly in from out of state and it was so simple, stress-free, and didn't affect any part of me getting ready for my trip, leaving for my trip or returning from my trip. Sharon was very communicative before, during and after I returned. It just couldn't have been more wonderful! If you're considering applicants stop looking and choose Sharon and Milton. They are just delightfully wonderful wonderful people!! They go above and beyond just housesitting and pet sitting! Tidy, clean, respectful down to earth and the most kind and loving people. I do believe Milton really is a cat whisper!! They slept with my sweet babies, and even followed silly grooming instruction on one of my cats. Would have them sit for me absolutely anytime.

Kathy and Ron arrived at our home with a most fantastical toy for our cats and a giant apple pie. Need I say more? They are very experienced sitters and brought personal items that they prefer. We knew we were leaving out cats in good hands. A large part of their 'job' was hand watering our garden and Ron took that in stride. Everything is thriving. Our cats are usually distant with new people but we received photos of them keeping Kathy and Ron company in various situations which was reassuring. They clearly won our cats over. Although Ron and Kathy had a ferry to catch on their last day, they took time to wash their linens and hang them on the clothesline. They also left us a gorgeous plant for our garden. We would very much like to have them back for a longer sit if possible.

Kathryn was such nice and kind sitter that both of my boyfriend and me were grateful to have, including my cats!! My cats seemed having great time with her, being around her, chilling on couch with her, or even sitting on her. I got several photos of my cats from her with whort updates. I’m thankful that she let me do facetimes with her when I missed my cats. The house was clean and tidy when we came back. I definately will ask her again to sit my cats and house when I need. Lindsey watched our cat and dog for a long weekend when we went out of town. She was a very communicative sitter sending frequent pictures and voice notes with updates. Picked up our little lab after 8 nights with Brad & Gemma and it's safe to say he had the best ever time. They have created something pretty special, a super safe, fun environment allowing dogs to do what they do best...be dogs! You will not be disappointed leaving your pooch here :-)
Brad and Gemma are both so lovely and they have created the most amazing dog hotel! After visiting with my puppy on the weekend I immediately booked her in for doggy day care and for a longer stay in the summer. They have created a calm but fun environment for the dogs and my puppy Mika absolutely loved them both. It's most certainly not a kennel. Instead there huge enclosed fields, doggy tv and beautiful beds for the dogs to sleep and chill out on after all their running about. I hadn't ever really considered doggy day care but I will now most certainly do it for when I work in London. Thank you Brad and Gemma for the wonderful home you have created for the dogs.

Our two dogs love going to Butt Sniffers. They come home exhausted from a fun day playing with their pals and getting all the love from Brad and Gemma. One of our dogs is quite shy and nervous and he's really grown in confidence since spending time there. We only moved to the area recently and were worried about finding somewhere suitable nearby. We needn't have worried, from the moment we first dropped them off we were at ease, it is obvious that Gemma and Brad absolutely love dogs and love what they do. We wanted somewhere where the dogs are treated like part of the family and that is what we got. They are always quick to respond and really flexible, which has been so helpful for us whilst we're having work done on our house, as we don't have to worry about the dogs because we know they are in great hands. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Butt Sniffers!
Wow! Really lovely people and fantastic facilities. Our 7 month old pup went for doggy daycare and came back tired and very waggy - she had even had a good brush. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to any dog lover - look around for 2 minutes and you will be able to totally relax about leaving your pet. We will definitely be back!

Amazing service, our dog loves his visits to Hayley and Craig at Fido & Friends. We know he will always get a great walk, and being very needy, he gets plenty of attention and cuddles throughout the day! During his stay Hayley provides WhatsApp updates of photos and videos which we love as it's always lovely to see how much fun he is having. Would highly recommend!

Hayley has looked after our little rescue dog a few times now whilst I've been away on holiday and I know he is always having a brilliant time. Hayley is super attentive to the needs of each individual dog to make sure they are happy and safe, so I know my boy is getting the same level of attention and fuss he would do at home. He loves playing and exploring with the other dogs, especially Little Dave! And Hayley sends lots of photos and videos so you can see what they are getting up to! This was buddy's second staycation with Hayley, Craig, little Dave and Charlie ( the dogs) he was very excited to return. Hayley runs a very organised and professional pet care service. *** Awesome service! *** My dog has been walking with Hayley and her dogs for a few months now and she absolutely loves it. It’s nice to see the videos, photos and updates after her walk. :) She gets to play with lots of dogs on a regular basis which is lovely to see. On the odd occasion we need to change the day, Hayley is very accommodating and offers alternative days if she can. It’s nice to know she is local and only does this side of Chells Manor Stevenage which means my dog isn’t in the car for long. Hayley gives plenty of notice of her holidays book which means I can sort alternative plans out well in advance. I know my dog is safe, happy and well looked after when she is with Hayley. I would definitely recommend her services :)
My dog loves her time she spends with Hayley, Craig and their lovely dogs at Fido and Friends. My dog is a Romanian rescue and Hayley has spent so much time getting to know her and now she has flourished in their daycare and boarding. They go on lovely walks and countryside adventures followed by rest, fuss and lots of attention in their lovely home. I don’t know what we would do without Hayley and Craig, my dog sees them as her second family and gets very excited when the car pulls up outside their house!
My dogs love going for a. Adventure with Hayley and co! Hayley sends great pictures of the walk and the dogs are always tired afterwards. I get a report on how they have been and it has really helped with their confidence and being more social with other dogs. My anxious dachshund Timmy stayed at Crabbs Green Farm for a week. The kennels are spacious, very clean and lots of opportunities for exercise. Timmy loves female attention, so this was perfect for our fur baby. Sam and Steph adored him, which made me feel so relaxed and I was able to enjoy on my holiday knowing he was in safe hands. It was really reassuring to have updates during his stay to know that he was eating well and that he was happy and excitable. Timmy came back looking super healthy and eased back into our home routine quickly! I am so thankful to have found Step and Sam and would defo recommend, thank you again.

After loosing our older dog we decided that our other dog wouldn't cope with being in kennels by himself, so looked for a home boarder. We love pets was recommended to us. We did an over night sleepover and then a day visit to find the perfect match. We went away for a few days knowing our dog was being looked after and cared for like their own. With updates and photo's the whole time reassuring us he was happy and safe. We will definitely be using our home boarder again and would highly recommend we love pets!

We have an elderly golden retriever with mobility problems . We knew we couldn't put him into kennels and luckily found We love Pets , they were so caring . He was looked after in a family home, which we visited beforehand so they knew him , his needs & medication etc. Whilst he was there they updated us with photos so we knew he was happy and we could relax in the knowledge he was being well cared for. We would thoroughly recommend their services to anyone looking for home care for their fur baby !
We used WLPS to look after our 3 cats while we were away for a week. All our requests were taken care of and I have already booked them again for the next time we are away. It's nice to have found reliable and trustworthy people to look after the cats.
WLP have been fantastic in looking after our tortoise. Since we go away a few times a year, it’s a comfort to know there’s someone reliable and friendly available. Our tort is on good hands!
We have been using the pet sitting service for a year now and we could not be happier. Thor loves going there every week and he alsways comes back home a happy boy. Charlotte is always very responsive and willing to help with requests and the sitters are wonderful with Thor, so I feel peace of mind when he is there. The only thing I would change is having a more flexible cancellation policy, hence the 4 starts.
For our 9-month old dog first night away we had been very pleased with Charlotte and her team. Tasha has been great and did a wonderful job at caring about our dog like it was hers. She’s kept me informed regularly how she was doing through quick chat and photos sharing. Our dog had a great one night stay and we peacefully enjoyed our night out. Thanks a lot Tasha!

I would 100% recommend Serena for her services at Poochie Mumma. Both Serena and her daughter care for my dog as though she were their own. I have a 15 year old Yorkshire terrier who no longer enjoys long walks and is frightened of dogs, so Serena visits Lulu whilst I am at work to let her out and spend some time with her. It is clear that Serena totally loves the dogs she looks after. I receive a photo for every visit which brightens my day at work and puts my mind at ease that she is ok. Serena has also made emergency visits if I am stuck in London or if I need emergency dog cover. Serena is kind and very reliable, Lulu absolutely loves when she visits!
Serena took care of our dog Max when we travelled to Australia for a family wedding earlier this year. She is very professional and you can see how much she loves her job. Whilst looking after Max we received videos on a daily basis showing how much fun he was having out walking 2 or 3 times a day with other dogs. He had the time of his life. Also while we was away , our flights home were cancelled due to covid 19 and Serena was extremely supportive and looked after max while we was stranded. I couldn't recommend her enough and we will definitely be using her again.
We left our 11 month old cockapoo with Serena/Poochie Mumma for a week. We had looked at a number of other dog minders as we were very worried about leaving our baby for the first time but as soon as we met Serena we knew she was the one for us! She treated our dog to a 5 star service....like a member of her own family. We were very pleased to have daily updates on our dog, lots of amazing photos and videos of her not missing us at all! I She really enjoyed her time with Poochie Mumma and we have already booked with her for next year!
I recommended Poochie Mumma to my elderly neighbour who needed dog care whilst she was in hospital. Serena came to visit my neighbour and meet her very anxious Jack Russel Harry. Serena was very patient and oozed a calmness that settled Harry and made my dear friend and neighbour comfortable about her taking care of him. Serena had Harry for a week and from what I heard it sounds like he had a great time. The best thing to come from this is that Harry is now happy to leave my friend for periods of time without becoming distressed. Serena has continued to walk him 3 times a week and I often see her come to pick him up... his tail is always wagging and he is excited to see her. My dear friend is relieved to have such a reliable warm and kind person to take care of her little Harry. So this review is from us ... Margaret, myself and a very happy Harry!! Poochie Mumma is without a doubt a 5* service.
Serena & her daughter both came round to meet my dog before looking after her for the night. She immediately warmed to them and I knew she was in good hands. I was able to keep my dog at home which suited her perfectly as she’s 13 and loves her home comforts. Serena sent pictures of my happy dog out for their morning walk which was a lovely touch! I can't recommend Poochie Mumma highly enough. I spotted her branded van parked up at the exact time I was looking for a reliable local dog walker. Serena visited to meet Sophia (our mixed breed rescue dog) and immediately Sophia took to her. Initially Poochie Mumma would pick Sophia up on the day to take for amazing, fun & long walks (sending me photos of Sophia enjoying herself). A change of job meant that our dog now goes to Poochie Mumma for several hours each day and she always has a fun time, receiving plenty of exercise, love and attention. My dog Ernie has been walked by Serena and stayed with her on occasions when work has taken me away from home, Serena has always been reliable and makes Ernie a big part of her family. I always receive daily photos of Ernie enjoying himself which is fantastic for me to see. I whole heartedly recommend Poochie Mumma!!
I only have left my dog with family, but this time no one was available to have my staffie, she is a spoilt dog , so I was worried about leaving her, as she doesn’t like me leaving her. After being recommend by a friend from work. I met , Serena , and felt happy my dog will be well looked after. And My dog seemed happy once collecting her and she said she had been on some great adventures, so my dog, tells me lol . I will be using her for future holidays 😃
Serena is fantastic with the dogs. My nervous pup took to her straight away and is always so happy to go on her walks and to go stay with her for the day. I'd highly recommend.
My two little dogs absolutely love their visits to and from Poochie Mumma. Serena is so flexible and accommodating and can walk the dogs if I get stuck at work even at short notice. If I could leave more than 5 stars I would... Great service!

I’m not one to leave reviews but they are so fantastic I had to! They helped an elderly lady and looked after her dog when she was taken into hospital at short notice and they were incredible. Great policies and procedures in place and you can tell they love dogs and animals! Constantly updated me on the little dog and returned her fully loved, nails trimmed and cared for. Amazing service, you couldn’t ask for more when leaving your family pet with people!
My dog Teddy loves his daycare! He can't wait to get in a see his "friends" dog & human!! They have fun enrichment activities & even "school trips" to an enclosed field! The team take excellent care of my Teddy & I am happy to go to work knowing he will have a fun day!
The ladies here are the most lovely people and I have complete peace of mind when leaving my dog with them. He's been going since 20 weeks old and he couldn't be more excited every time he goes. They go above and beyond and I would and have, recommended them to everyone! ❤️
Chris is so great with dogs her knowledge and experience is so vast she is a true dog lover - her team are fabulous at what they do always showing love and providing fun for the dogs at their day care. It really feels like a bunch of kids having fun in the playground when you walk in with all the toys and different activities and breeds they have in!
We work closely with Chris and have sent lots of our customers to her for day care. I have had everyone who’s used Chris personally come back into the shop to tell me how lovely her setup is and their dogs have not only been really happy but also helps their dogs to be better socialised.

Christina's brilliant and the dogs she looks after become like part of the family. She's very experienced and knows and understands dogs perfectly. I've used Family Pet Care extensively for dog daycare and boarding over the past three years, I trust her completely with my dog Rosie who always loves going there and I recommend her wholeheartedly.
Our labrador has known the Family Pet Care crew most of her life. She had home visits when she was a puppy and now goes to day care twice a week. The team love, know and understand dogs and we trust them completely to look after ours. Couldn't recommend highly enough!
Arthur goes to Family Pet Care once a week and, honestly, when we drop him off he can't wait to go in and see his friends. Often, at home time, he's having a lovely cuddle with one of the staff and we really feel that the time he spends there is a really enriching and enjoyable part of the week.

Meeting House Boarding Kennels and Cattery

Why does nobody know of these kennels & cattery? They are superb! You don't need an appointment to view them, which is definitely a plus. The ladies who work there are lovely and really seem to know their stuff. The owners are well known dog breeders of working dogs, so these kennels are run by experienced, knowledgeable people. The kennels are all a good size with inside and outside runs, which then lead on to a paddock for each block. My dogs Aldo & Taya came home happy, clean and seemingly loved his time there. In fact he will be going back in September as will our cat Tilly. I really recommend these kennels to anybody. A reasonable price too. 🐾🐾
We have been taking our dogs to the Meeting House for years, they dash out the car and run straight in. They love their holidays here and we love that they are so well cared for. The staff are amazing and really understand dogs. They are given access to a wonderful paddock a number of times a day, where they are free to run about and play. The staff clearly spend lots of time with our dogs as they know them so well and our dogs are so excited to go there. They communicate if there is problem and we have even had photos sent to us of our gang having fun. We have total piece of mind when we leave our dogs with the team, and honestly can completely enjoy our holidays knowing they are enjoying theirs.
First timer , left Bella 16 year old shih tzu , blind and deaf, and after 8 days we have picked up a new dog , she is bouncing around , ate all her food and a picture of health, thanks to all the staff who looked after our baby, will definitely recommend and use again

Our small dog Cosmo stayed here for 12 days. We believe he actually enjoyed staying at the Meeting House. Peter and his team are very knowledgeable, and sincere. We have no issues coming back again. Thank you so much for looking after our family dog.
We were really happy with the team and the site. We believe the price of having our cat was responsible and felt that the site is safe and well managed. The team know the animals by name and really care. We had our cat on a specific diet and they accommodated us. The parking is a bit small and both times there has been some jiggling around to get in or leave but that is expected due to the location. We will be back absolutely.
I had my cats in Meeting house for 1 month last year and my dog has just been in for 5 days and honestly I can’t fault them. From service to the care of my animals they’re amazing and they are so understanding and reassuring. This was the first time I’ve used them for my dog even though I’ve used them a few times for my 3 cats and honestly I now won’t go anywhere else. It’s a real bonus that they’re on route to when I go to Newcastle! Defo 5*! Highly recommend.
I have been taking my dog here for three years. I went to collect my dog on Monday 2nd January, nobody answering the bell or my hellos. Finally a man came out who is usually nice, rolling his eyes at me and shouting at me how they were closed as a bank holiday. I explained their website states open until 5, he went on to yell at me telling me they have closed at 1pm on a bank holiday for the last 10 years..the man then told me to get my dog. When I went to collect there were no locks on the kennels, no food or water bowls inside either. Place stunk and the dogs were distressed. If I had wanted to, I could have let all the dogs out and opened the gates for them to go off. No cctv either, beware of leaving your dog in these conditions. I will say the two ladies that work here are very nice and accommodating. Despite the the man shouting at me in front of my 5 year old, after seeing the conditions my dog will not be staying here again.
Cannot fault! I was so worried about Retro when we first left him. But he was completely fine. I can't believe his tail wags when we turn up now ! Will forever use the meeting house

Chrissy of Zen Dogs came and stayed in our home to look after our two spaniels whilst we went to Greece this summer. We left feeling relaxed and were confident that the dogs were in good hands whilst in her care. As Chrissy was staying in our home, she also looked after it, she watered our garden and vegetables and looked after the PH of our hot tub. The dogs love Chrissy and enjoyed lovely walks with her and swims in the paddling pool. Chrissy updated us with photographs and messages on the dogs progress. When she came by last Sunday the dogs were so excited to see her, you could see the genuine love they have for her. I can highly recommend Chrissy of Zen dogs to look after your pets. I can not recommend Chrissie more highly. My pets and my home are well cared for by her when we are away. The animals love her so I know she treat them well, I trust her completely to stay in my home and she sends an update to let me know all is well. Chrissie has helped me out when I’ve really needed, you can go away and totally relax as everything is in great hands.
