We're responsible, kind, pet lovers who'd love to care for your pets and home.
This was always going to be a difficult sit looking after 2 very mischievous 5 month old kittens but we had a really good video call with Viv so we were confident that everything would be fine. Then on the day that Viv & Graham arrived one of the kittens got sick and had to go into hospital for 2 nights meaning we had to cancel our departure. Viv & Graham very totally calm about this and just checked themselves into an Airbnb for a couple of nights. They were due to come back to our house after that as we were leaving early in the morning on newly booked flights and then our water main exploded leaving us with no water. Once again this was no problem to Viv & Graham and they found themselves somewhere to stay for another night. We finally got away 4 days late and from that moment on everything was plain sailing. Viv sent us photos and videos of the kittens every day, as we had requested. Graham fixed a big sunshade that had fallen down and the cats got lots of love and attention. We came back to happy, healthy cats, a spotlessly clean house and a delicious traybake. We would happily have Viv & Graham back to sit for us again and highly recommend them to anyone else.

Hannah and Joseph housesat our three kitties for a week and a half while we were traveling for the holidays. They were very communicative and conscientious. We received daily updated on our cats with cute and funny pictures. When they noticed our 17yo cat, Amber, wasn’t eating very much, they let us know and we were able to resolve the problem quickly. They were also very resourceful and understanding when we ran out of some cat supplies. Hannah and Joseph took great care of the house. Everything was very clean and tidy when we arrived back, and we had a short time to get to know them on our arrival. Wow! Just wow! We cannot say enough about the care and compassion Trisha and John provided to our cats and our home. We are always somewhat nervous about a new pet sitter in our home, but that all faded when we met this wonderful couple. They provided daily updates as requested, complete with pictures, videos and personalized captions. Upon our return, we were greeted by happy and content kitties. There was no sign of anxiety in Tika! Yea!!! Our home was clean, the sheets and towels were washed and bed remade! They even left behind thank you notes and little gifts! We can not exaggerate the care and love Juliet and Laurent gave to our cat, Piero, during his the last few weeks of life. While we left for our trip thinking he merely had a bladder infection, his symptoms turned for the worse a weeks into their sit and later revealed he had cancer. No one would wish their sitter to need to hospice their cat but Juliet and Laurent showed such compassion for Piero and volunteered to be with him when we made the decision to put him down. It was an emotional time for all of us and we will be forever grateful to our two caring cat and house sitters. We have had many fantastic housesitters through zeewoi but Juliet and Laurent top the list. Their professionalism, constant communication and compassion were exceptional. Should you have the opportunity to have them in your home, do not hesitate to book them, you will have no regrets. We do, however, regret that they had such a short time with Piero and had to experience such a painful event.

If you are looking for someone to take care of your fur babies and your house while you're away, Daniel is your guy! I had discovered zeewoi just a couple of weeks before I was to leave on vacation and I was not only apprehensive if the website was too good to be true, but also under a real time crunch. I reached out to over 100 local sitters and several possibilities fell through. I was confident I would find the right sitter and when Daniel applied for the sit and I started to text and converse with him, I knew I had found the perfect sitter for my two cats! Daniel was upbeat and positive, articulate and personable, warm and caring, and he asked all the right questions about Lilly and Eli (I hadn't had the time to complete my Welcome Guide, yet!?!). I shared that I had an easy cat and problem cat -- Lilly, who is sweet, social and eats dry food, and Eli who is skittish, was periodically pooping outside the kitty litter box and was eating prescription canned food twice a day mixed with a probiotic and stool firmer. I asked if he thought he was up for the job and he happily said he was. Since he flew all the was from Chicago, I thought the least my husband and I could do was pick him up at the airport. When he arrived, he pulled out his notebook. He patiently walked with me as I reviewed kitty care, showed him around the house, and where he would be sleeping. He immediately picked up Lilly who was excited about meeting her new friend and Eli bugged out and down the stairs to the basement (his favorite hiding place!). We got Daniel connected to the internet, set him up at our dining room table and headed off to airport, leaving our house and kitties in the best of hands. Daniel wanted to make sure I felt comfortable and assured while we were away. He made sure to text with me every other day (he had asked my preference earlier), sent photos of Lilly being her cute self while Eli hid during the day although he gave me assurances that he was eating his food and using the litter box (there were a few accidents, but Daniel never complained about these additional duties). When we returned from our vacation, the house was also spotless and well cared for and Daniel had even washed the sheets for me! It is with utter happiness and complete confidence that I recommend Daniel as a fantastic Sitter. He is trustworthy, responsible, caring, and competent, and you can rest assured that both your house and sweet pets will be watched over and treated with TLC -- and will truly be in the best of hands while you are away!

I would suggest people avoid at all costs. The owner "looks after" your pets/family by leaving them alone to bark all day and or night long. Last time it was for over 4 hours. Constant barking. Clearly an animal in need. The RSPCA have been notified for neglect. I hope the full weight of the law is exacted. Edit: Mavis, I will not contact you privately. This has been going on for years. I moved to Tarrant Monkton in 2001. The dogs you "look after" were, and are frequently left outside in all weather whilst you used to go out to the pub, (before you fell out with the Landlady) or out in general. Leaving them to bark at all hours until you return to them. I would be livid if you treated my dog this way. You are lucky so many people have given you leeway this long for living in the village. Being woken up at all hours, the peace of the village broke consistently for no reason other than your lack of commitment to those pets. My review is factual and others will confirm this. If you don't want bad reviews, don't act in a bad manner. ****AVOID**** Second Edit: Geraldine, perhaps you should come down from your home two villages away sometime and experience it first hand. If you doubt myself, please feel free to knock on doors in Tarrant Launceston and or Tarrant Monkton to ask for others experiences. Experiences not opinions. Unfortunately your ignorance is not an excuse. It is common knowledge that you and others including Mavis don't support the local pub, or charity events. Mavis at Homestead Per Care has been lovingly looking after my “forever friends” for the past 15 years and I trust her explicitly. Be it for the odd day care whilst I’m working to weeks of boarding whilst I’m away, I’m absolutely confident that my dogs are being lovingly looked after. I could not recommend Mavis enough, both of my spaniels have adored her and can not wait to return!

Our dog has ad-hoc walks, sitting & she has been to stay at Rebecca’s when we’ve gone away. She is always so well taken care of and comes home very happy. The prices are fair and we know our dog is in safe hands. They’re not a ‘one size fits all’ outfit which can be quite hard to find. Highly recommend.
Jackie and team organised home boarding for my 3 year old Labrador, as well as providing pet sitting services for my two cats and rabbit. The service was incredible. I got updates on my pets daily which helped ease some of my anxiety about leaving them, as well as coming home to healthy and happy animals. I would highly recommend using them. Jackie has recently looked after my 3 dogs and my tortoise, she was also asked to housesit for two days . One of my dogs is a rescue dog and is extremely nervous. This is not the first time I have used We love Pets, Jackie is very professional and extremely caring I can go away knowing that my pets will be well looked and loved. I met a few dog walkers before I met Jackie. Straight away I knew she was who I wanted to care for my puppies, she was professional, organised and genuinely cared for and interacted with my dogs. Jackie has been walking my dogs daily for 10 months now and I have no complaints and our dogs love her. She gives me regular updates and nothing is ever too much trouble. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
A late review, sorry, however I'm happy to leave a positive one. Jackie provided a Cat Stting service for me whilst I was away on holiday for a few weeks. My cat is very homely and loves having people around, especially me. I was therefore concerned about her. So I employed Jackie's services. Everything about Jackie, her service and her care for my cat and home whilst I was away, was reassuring and professional. Jackie even sent me texts messages to say how my cat was whilst i was away, nice touch, and reassuring. Would happily recommend.
We Love Jackie! Our dog, Poppy, LOVES Jackie. Jackie is Poppy's favourite person! Jackie arrives with treats and sometimes fellow dogs suited to walk with Poppy. Amanda did a wonderful job looking after my menagerie and gave me complete peace of mind whilst we were away. Amanda has cared for our cat, Emma, for over a year now, from when she was just a little kitten. We feel relieved when we go away knowing Amanda is there to make sure Emma has everything she needs. The most important thing to Emma is play time and Amanda always ensures there is plenty of that. I sometimes wonder if Emma would prefer we go away more so she can have more Amanda time! I also love the updates, photos, videos, while we are away and missing Emma. It’s all so easy to deal with and the communication is outstanding. I can’t recommend enough!

Karen is so kind and knowledgeable and her own dogs are absolutely beautiful and a real credit to her. I would 100% recommend them for dog care / dog walking. I'm so glad we found out about Karen as I felt so comfortable knowing our dog Finn was well cared for the week we were on holiday. It was clear how happy and relaxed our dog was was upon collection.
Karen is clearly extremely knowledgeable with dogs, you just have to look at her own. Karen was extremely easy to deal with and although we only booked our dog in for a couple of days whilst we were on holiday in the area she was lovely to us. I highly recommend her services.
Wonderful service! Karen and Steve has been brilliant right from day 1 with our young dog and acknowledged he was a playful and excited so have done a brilliant job and making sure he is settled in which he has thoroughly done now. Our dog enjoys going each week and always comes home happy and exhausted. We have even trusted them enough to leave him overnight there with no concerns at all. We feel our dog is so very well looked after with Karen really a home away from home! Would recommend to anyone :)

It’s become a home from home for my dogs . Karen is so professional and in demand though that she tends to get pretty fully booked up . But I appreciate the security of being able to go away and know my dogs are so well looked after . Dog and animal welfare are always at the top of her agenda
Pup/dog was there for a couple of days, when picked up the owner(s) were obviously stressed, he’d been a little bit of a pain, keeping the family awake apparently which I told the lady who took him (he’s an anxious dog, nothing major). He came back with a couple of marks one on the knee (looked worth away) & a scratch/Bute mark on the leg. I’m more than aware how a pack of dogs can play etc & I’m more than aware that the marks were not there when he was dropped of at the house. The owner/manager just denied any responsibility, not that it was a huge deal but since then we have not been able to settle him in another boarding house/kennel. I’m pretty certain he had a run in with one of the many smaller nippier dogs & as he doesn’t react to violence etc would have just dealt with it. Far from happy about the service & after specifically saying he was a liability around open doors & roads it was a little worrying when we turned up to pick him up & the front door was open due to her daughters boyfriend (I believe). Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, quite the opposite. Edit & response to ‘Steve’. I live in Amesbury, Steve I have a 7 year old Doberman, I doubt you get many of them so I assume you know who I am. Feel free to pop round to varify the marks & don’t just flat out deny it as Karen did. She was quick to tell me how he’d disturbed you for the majority of the night, sorry about that, I made Karen very aware of his anxieties. Don’t use the old ‘it’s some competition’ etc you know fully well that your service is a) not top notch for any large dog (imo) & b) you’re running it from your house, this isn’t a professional kennel/stay over for a dog. Would highly recommend Sue. Our pooch recently stayed for a week and he was made to feel right at home. He had the most fantastic time playing with the other dogs and enjoyed the lovely walks. We really appreciated the updates and felt so relaxed knowing he was in such safe and caring hands.
We have a rescue golden retriever who is anxious with new people and dogs. Sue has cared for her several times for short stays and we have just returned from a week away where she has been so settled with Sue, enjoyed the lovely regular walks, made new doggy friends and clearly had all her needs met. We were able to relax and not worry about her as we could see from the lovely updates that she was very happy. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sue to other dog owners looking for care.
We would absolutely recommend Sue to look after your dog. She was amazing looking after our Cockapoo at short notice after we’d been let down. You can see how much Sue loves all dogs and we felt very reassured and comfortable leaving our dog in her capable hands. He had a lovely time! Just wish we lived nearer so we could use Sue more often!!
Highly recommended Sue. She looked after our pooch whilst we were at a wedding for the weekend, there is a big garden space for the dogs to run around and they get regular walks in the nearby field. Sue was lovely and made us feel comfortable leaving the dog with her.

Wonderful place for your dog to stay for both day care and boarding. Top rate care with walks and care as if at a family home, which it is. No kennels or caged runs. All comforts in a secure environment and individual needs catered for. I will always ensure I can book my Cocker spaniel in there. Good to book in plenty of time.

My dogs have been going to Jans for the last 5+ years. I have used weekly day care as well as holiday cover. It’s so reassuring when they jump out the car all excited to be there and run down the garden for a play and sniff about. It means i can leave them assured that my doggy babies are in good hands. Jan has always been a pleasure to deal with. I have no hesitation recommending her and have done so to friends who now use the service.
Jan is absolutely fantastic. From her knowledge, to her clean, spacious, calm home, she is welcoming and caring. We have left our 10m old Reggie with her 4 times now and he LOVES IT! When he returns, he is happy and relaxed. Have taken him to a dog day care previously but Reggie comes back exhausted and extremely thirsty. It's like he hasn't been able to relax. When he comes back from Jans, he's a lovely calm happy do. Jan has excellent knowledge of dogs and has shared some really useful tips with me. Fair to say Reggie has a friend for life with Jan. We won't go anywhere else!
