Rob has been walking our dog Toffee for over 6 months now and I couldn’t be happier with him. Toffee loves his walks and always comes home worn out. Rob lets him have off lead time whenever possible and makes a conscious effort to make his walk locations are varied. We’ve also had Rob feeding our cats when away for the weekend. He’s very honest, trustworthy and an all round good guy.

Rob has looked after our cats Remus and Rosa on a few occasions since we moved to the area! He updates his Facebook page when visiting so we know the cats are being well looked after with lots of play time and he is great at getting in touch regarding visits, changes of plans and payments. Thank you Rob!

Rob is wonderful and we’d be lost without him! Peggy loves going out with him and flys down the stairs when he gets here! She loves him so much! He takes her to different places and I know she’s in safe hands. Very reliable and also very accommodating ( we’re always asking last minute requests and he always makes it work.) 100% recommend!

Our little fur baby Nugget absolutely loves Rob! Seeing how excited he is to see Rob gives me such piece of mind that he is looked after and cared for as well as knowing he is having fun with all his new paw pals. Thanks for everything Rob you’re doing an amazing job! Highly recommend!!!

Boston Gates is the Savoy of boarding kennels. The dogs are so well cared for by James and Bev (who does the grooming side). The dogs' day is spent under supervision in the company of other dogs in an open run. Overnight accommodation is in a "dog room" within the house. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

We’re delighted to highly recommend Boston Gates. Our young lady is always so excited when we drive towards Boston Gates having been a regular happy visitor since being a puppy 4 years ago. She loves visiting whether for a longer stay, day care or grooming. We received a lovely photo of her - blissfully chilled out after her ‘spa session’! Bev and James are wonderful and we know that Skye’s always very welcome in their safe, caring, secure home.

We have used Boston Gates since we got Murphy as a pup 2 years ago for grooming as well as doggy daycare and boarding. Bev and her family treat Murphy as if he was their own. He stays with them in the house and loves being there with the other dogs. Murphy can get grumpy when being brushed and washing him is a task that takes 4 of us, but Bev is patient and he always looks and smells amazing after being groomed. I would definitely recommend Boston Gates to take care of your dog.

What a fabulous setting for my Border terrier to go to stay, when we go on holiday. It’s a home from home experience, where he now has his spot in the sofa! He always hops out of the car with enthusiasm when we pull up to drop him off. Bev also does day care and grooming. We even get sent photos when we’re away of our happy pooch. All in all I couldn’t recommend Boston Gates highly enough.

I have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending Boston Gates for looking after and caring for your pet whilst away. My dog Sandy stayed there on a number of occasions and was always really well looked after. He loved going there, jumping out of the car enthusiastically when I arrived. My new 8 month old Labrador pup, Safra stayed there for over two weeks just before lockdown. She absolutely loved it - no doubt cared for and in fact came back far better socialised, had stopped jumping up and much better behaved! And I received photos and videos whilst I was away to stop me from needlessly worrying about her!

Excellent doggy day care, home boarding and hairdressing services! I can leave my dog without any hesitation and without any worry, as I know he'll be well cared for. He has loads of fun playing and socialising with the other pups. It's located in peaceful and rural surroundings and very safe. I would highly recommend.

Couldn’t recommend Abs more! She went above and beyond when she looked after our cats - they made a mess knocking things over repeatedly and the house was spotless when we came back! Abs is so professional and thorough and we felt so reassured that the cats would be really looked after while we were away. Not only does Abs feed them and make sure they have everything they need - she spent an hour with them (they’re house cats) every day playing with them. When we came home they were so chilled out - we will definitely be using Kitties Staycation next time we go away!

Abs did a great job of looking after our cat whilst we were away. It was such a joy to receive daily photos during her visit and to know that Poppy was receiving love and attention from Abs. I would highly recommend her and she offers a very professional service.

Spa Barks have been fantastic in looking after my boy both overnight and on dog walks. I love the fact they send me photos of him out on his adventures with them. Spa barks are so friendly and welcoming. I was looking for an alternative to a kennel for my puppy Maisey, so that I could feel more comfortable leaving her overnight, and Found Spa Barks to be the perfect fit for me, as I got to leave her with another loving family. I was very happy with the excellent service and value for money.

Natasha and Jonathan take such great care of Mara. When I drop her off with them, she doesn't look back for one moment - and that gives me such peace of mind. I even completely trusted them to look after Mara after she had a little surgery and was still wearing her medivest, and they did a wonderful job of ensuring she stayed clean and comfortable all week. They send me an update or two a day when they have her, which I so appreciate. And when we walk past their house, Mara always tries to cross the road to go and say hi! Thank you so much for giving us somewhere that we're so happy to leave our baby girl - would recommend you to anyone!

Our two puppies love spending time with Natasha and Jonathan. They really look after the dogs and we are happy to leave them there - without Spa Barks we would really be stuck!

I can not recommend Paw Dayz highly enough. Richard, the dog walker is brilliant. He has walked our Labrador for over a year now and Percy is absolutely ecstatic to see him. Richard sends us daily updates and lots of pictures throughout the day. Richard also let us know if Percy wasn't being himself and always cared for him as if he was his own. If you are looking for as good, reliable and trustworthy dog walker Paw Dayz is the one for you!!

Richard was brilliant with Nellie. He was able to have her at such short notice and she loved her weekend there. I got regular updates of pictures of videos. Nellie is already booked in for another weekend stay. Highly recommend!

Rich has been incredible this weekend with our little Roxy!!! ❤️ first time having her, she boarded for 2 days and she had the holiday of a lifetime. She can be a handful at times but Rich has clearly made her feel so at ease and part of pack…needless to say she is shattered now! Richard is a wonderful dog Walker. He started walking my dog Poppy when she was about 3 or 4 months old. Poppy adores him. Richard will always go out of his way to help as he did when she was in season. He found the time to walk her round the block on a lead on her own in his busy schedule. Richard is absolutely fantastic, and we count ourselves very lucky to have found him! Cannot recommend him enough. Our rescue dog loves him and all the Paw Dayz 4-legged friends on his group walks. We feel 100% comfortable with our dog under Richard's care, knowing he is completely trustworthy, professional, reliable, flexible and super friendly with all his dogs and clients. We receive video updates and photos whenever he is on a walk, clearly having an amazing time. Over his time with our dog they have formed a great bond, and we would recommend Richard to anyone!

Our dog has been walking with Richard for several years now and it’s honestly the highlight of his week! He is so excited when he gets collected and has the best time running around with his friends. What can I even say, Nero loves Richard, he situates himself by the window longingly waiting for his buddy to come get him for his lunchtime walk. I can tell Richard is amazing with dogs by Nero’s excitement Everytime he sees him. They also offer dog boarding too, which has been invaluable for when I need to travel. My fur baby is in the best hands, he gets to socialise with other dogs, gets a good walk and as an added bonus Richard takes the best pictures of Nero. Thank you paw dayz team ♥️

Richard has been our dog walker for years now, he is great! reliable, professional, he really enjoys his time with the dogs and we really trust him with ours. he sends us walking pictures and i'm slightly worried he may ditch walking for professional dog photography!

Julie looked after our dog when we were away for a week on holiday and she did a great job. Dash was made to feel very welcome, immediately befriended Julie and had lots of fun. Julie updated us regularly and shared some photos so we could see what the dogs were up to. I will definitely use Maddie’s Retreat in the future and would highly recommend for a professional and homely stay for your pup!!

Just came back from a week away on a family holiday having never left my dog with anyone other than friends before. It was lovely to see how well settled and looked after he has been at Maddie’s Retreat. I got plenty of updates throughout his stay with pictures showing all the fun he was having. I would not hesitate on recommending Maddie’s Retreat and will certainly use their services again.

We recently used Maddie Retreat for our dog Evie. She had a great time being walked with lots of new doggy friends & being looked after in a lovely home environment. Maddie's Retreat really is a home from home for our dog. He absolutely loves going to stay with Julie and gets really excited when we mention her name. Julie and her family treat the dogs in there care as if they were their own and they want for nothing. I would highly recommend them.

My little Yorkie loves to go to Julie’s and I feel reassured when she goes there that she will be looked after really well and surrounded by other little dogs. Julie has extensive knowledge of animals and is very committed to her job and looking after other peoples pets making sure they feel at home. She’s very patient with my dog and very careful and aware of safety issues. Highly recommended.

After I lost one of my little dogs and didn't want to put my other one into kennels Julie stepped up for me and took my little dog into her home. She did a check first to make sure she fitted in and after a successful visit i felt comfortable leaving my little dog with her. When I came back from my weekend away it was quite apparent she'd settled in well and was comfortable there. I know she was well looked after and would definitely use Julie again in the future and would recommend her, thanks Julie

What amazing doggy boarding. Julie and her team took fantastic care of Dougal whilst we were on holiday. Paddling pools for him in the hot weather and plenty of walks. He was sad to leave after having made so many new doggy friends. The dogs really do just play together and relax together under Julie’s supervision. I was sent regular updates on Dougal which was very reassuring. He was even groomed several times. Fantastic care from someone who clearly adores dogs.

Alfie has just started to go to Maddie’s retreat and he loves it! He has fun with the other dogs and is very well looked after ! I feel so reassured that he is having a great time! I will definitely be using Maddie’s retreat and Julie on a regular basis including boarding !

First time at this dog park with my 3 wire haired Dachshunds. They loved it, enough longer grass to snuffle through, tyre sandpit to dig in and other activity bits and bobs. Safe and secure. Bit open to the elements but obviously drains well. Public footpath one side and horses on two sides. Bin for poop bags, water and seats for the humans.

Our dog has just spent 10 days here & he absolutely loves it. He has eaten very well and had plenty of exercise and enjoyed his stay thanks to Ryan & his team. Also booked him in for a bath prior to collecting him wow….. did he smell good. Highly recommend this place

Brilliant service. Clifford Moor are our only choice when it comes to our Doberman. The staff are Friendly and helpful and they know him and his personality well, plus he likes them too. Helps put our mind at rest when he's there, we know he's safe and being looked after properly. Would highly recommend them.

My spaniel Charlie has just had an 11 night stay at Clifford Moor. Facilities good, nice safe open paddock areas for the dogs to exercise. Staff friendly and nice with dogs. He seemed happy when I collected him and hadn't lost weight (sadly😅) . Recommended, Will use again. Thank you 😀 …

I have been bringing my dog to this kennels for over 8 years and the last few times he has been it hasn’t been up to standard especially the latest visit, so much so it left me in tears at how he was treated. Clearly he had a bad stomach whilst he was there as he had dried poo on his butt but it had just been left and not cleaned. I hadn’t been contacted to advise of this or consulted for any actions to be taken to treat it. When I brought him home this continued for a day or two, he was incredibly lethargic not himself. I don’t believe he was fed the food I provided as when he came home as soon as I fed him after couple of days his stomach went back to normal. He also had a lot of crust and dirt around one of his eyes and being part pug you have to keep their eyes clean as they can get infected easily. This was clearly not done. I’ve also had to take him to the vets for medication and pain relief as his paw has become inflamed which was bothering him since I picked him up. He was there only 6 days, was in great health before he went and none of these issues were there prior. We’ve raised the issue with the owners and asked for an explanation, they offered nothing of that and just said ‘sorry you feel this way’. I will not be bringing my dog back as I feel the standard of care has dropped over the last couple of years and I now don’t trust they look after my dog properly.

We have used Clifford moor for many years and my Pug has just spent 15 nights there. He was happy and healthy when we picked him up. He had also had a bath prior to us picking him up. We would highly recommend. He always comes back well looked after. Thanks to all of the team.

My pets appeared well looked after and happy so I have no complaints about the care, however, when I emailed asking how my pets were getting on, I got a fairly useless reply that didn't answer my questions and when I asked a few days later, did not get any reply at all. I feel that communication with owners is important, esp. when the owner has concerns such as if their pet is eating or not. I would still recommend and use them again, but I will be requiring better communication.

We dropped Riya off Christmas Eve and were greeted with very friendly and very welcoming staff as is always the case at Clifford Moor Farm. Riya is a very nervous dog and we always find the staff to be very understanding and very caring. Thank you.

Clifford kennels are the BEST kennels we have ever used. The personal service my pups receive is perfect, one of my dogs needs daily medication and they always ensure this is completed. They have a huge paddock for my dogs to exercise in and even if we haven’t been for 6 months they always remember my dogs names and show a genuine love for them. Even send us photos when we are on holiday!! I cannot recommend them highly enough, 5 huge stars!!!

Debs and Mitchell at Hartley Wood Kennels looked after Oscar my cocker / springer spaniel superbly this August. This included taking Oscar to the vets when required and keeping me fully informed, giving me full confidence and assurance. I would not hesitate recommending Hartley Wood Kennels.

First experience of putting my rescue dog in kennels but we used to use Hartley wood many years ago for our family dogs. Was a bit worried about him in case he totally shut down. However, after initially being told he was a bit worried, he settled in ok and, when I picked him up he was pretty relaxed and happy.

Our cat has boarded a few times now at Hartley Wood and been very well looked after. Its clear the owners care a lot about all the animals, I feel very confident leaving Martha in the care of Malcom. Would definitely recommend.

My dog has been to these kennels before and was very happy, so we took her again. She obviously was at ease with the owners, but unfortunately came home very thin due to an error. They were feeding her based on information on her registration form from when she was a bit younger( 3 cups), which my husband signed at that time. We verbally updated the increase in the amount of food she now has,( 4 to 5 cups ) stating we usually just keep her food bowl topped up as she's not a greedy dog. For whatever reason this was not followed or recorded. I could not recommend this kennel .

Used these kennels for years now and wouldn't use anywhere else always well looked after my dogs jump out of the car when we get there so I know they are happy going

Sam absolutely loves visiting Hartley Wood kennels. His tail is wagging as soon as we arrive and is still wagging at the end of his stay. The team clearly love dogs and give Sam plenty of attention while he’s on holiday! Would highly recommend. 🐶

Used this cattery for the first time and couldnt be more pleased. My cat has just come home from nearly two weeks stay and looks really happy and well cared for. The owners are lovely, friendly people and the cattery is in a beautiful setting. Im sure my cat enjoyed watching all the birds and wildlife! I will definately be booking again and would highly recommend them.

We have used Hartleywood Cattery several times a year for the last 10 years. Our cats, Scout and Tillie, are always very well looked after and it's easy to tell they are pleased to see Malcolm again when they arrive for another visit!! We would wholeheartedly recommend Hartleywood Cattery- even though we live 25 minutes away we bring the cats back time and again because we know they will be happy and safe.

We have been with Debbie for a number of years. It was for both Lou lou and Jack. Sadly we lost Lou lou during covid, but Jack (our little terrior or terror) is our baby. We have suddenly encountered an emergency due to a serious accident abroad in the last few days. I called Debbie and she immediately asked how she can help us with Jack. She is taking him on for time while we are away. Debbie and her family are brilliant and I cannot thank her enough at this really tough time. Hartley Kennels recommended 100% for caring, reliability and always being there. Thanks again Hartley Kennels.

My Hamster Gus Gus was regularly handled and such well cared for will definitely use Charlotte again whenever we go away! We were consistently updated with pictures, so happy with her services!

Charlotte is amazing at looking after our little piggies, we've never had to worry about them whilst they've been in her care. We've used Charlotte's services a few times now and can't fault her. We love getting regular updates and pictures of our piggies and will continue to use Pippin Pet Boarding for the foreseeable future.

Our rabbit, Puddles, has stayed with Charlotte three times. She is always very well cared for and we receive regular updates. We are always very happy with Pippin holidays. Charlotte clearly loves animals.

My bunnies Nibbles and Isabelle have stayed at Pippin many times, most recently in the new luxury lodge which is a whole summer house and garden for them to roam freely. But it is the care and love that they receive from Charlotte who apart from being highly experienced in small pet care obviously adores animals which makes it more than just a business. I wouldn’t send my beloved rabbits anywhere else. Prices are more than fair for the level of service and you will get regular lovely photos and updates. Highly recommended in every way.

I would highly recommend Pippin Pet Boarding. Charlotte has been looking after our hamsters for the past few years now and we have always received an excellent service. Charlotte is really friendly and from the first visit we knew our hamster would be in safe hands. Charlotte always sends us photo updates throughout their stay so we can see how they are getting on which is great!

My two little Russian Dwarf hamsters, Pudding and Crumpet, have just spent 10 days with Charlotte at Pippin Pet Boarding and they had an absolutely amazing time ! They were looked after with the utmost care and attention . I received regular updates and some really cute pictures of my two girls which was sooo nice and comforting as I missed them a lot ! Charlotte was very friendly and professional , and was sooo considerate and flexible when arranging drop off and pick up times ! Charlotte looked after my canary "Biscuit" for two weeks and he was very happy and healthy when I returned to collect him. Pipping Barding is just first class accommodation for small animals 🥇Charlotte is very dedicated and cares for her charges with 100% dedication my two girlie guineas Wendy & Daphne have been twice for two pretty long stays I have no hesitation at leaving them .The updates while you are away are fabulous we all know small animals can suddenly go downhill it’s something we always discuss but thankfully it’s never happened .Makes going away on holiday so much easier !
