I could not have asked for a better first experience with zeewoi! Jordan and Nataki were great at communicating from the very start, and they sent me pictures and updates every day. I didn’t have to worry for a moment that my cat Anya was feeling lonely because I could tell she warmed up right away, even though she’s usually quite shy! They also went above and beyond making sure my apartment was tidy for when I got home. So grateful and would definitely be honored for them to sit for me again any time!

Misti was wonderful! She was able to come by before I left town to meet my dog, Grace, which I really appreciated. She sent daily pics or videos and made sure that Grace got tons of snuggle time, which is a major requirement to keep my dog happy :) Cats and skateboards are evil enemies to Grace and it sounds like Misti experienced both and handled it flawlessly! Misti was a great communicator, left everything tidy for me when I got home and Grace was super mellow and relaxed, which tells me she got all the care she needed while I was gone. I highly recommend Misti - I'll definitely be asking her to sit again!

Lilly and Thomas stayed at our house and cared for our dogs for a month. I think they took the dogs to the beach nearly every day. Seeing pictures of our dogs on the beach made our time away from them feel so much better. Our house was immaculate when we returned, and we felt so fortunate to have such kind and loving people step in for us in our absence. Anyone would be super lucky to have them in their home.

Toby and Chloe were one of the best house sitters we have ever had! As a small animal vet I have seen many types of pet sitters and these guys are top notch. Our pets are not easy either. We have special needs dogs, cats on medication, dogs with behavioral issues, horses, chickens, goats and a large (100 lb) Sulcata tortoise who needed close monitoring of the temperature in his barn. Everyone was thriving and happy when we came home. They read through the packet and asked thorough, thoughtful questions. They went above and beyond grooming, mucking and grazing the horses and goats everyday. They chopped greens and fruit daily for our tortoise. If we had known how amazing they were we would have booked a 3 week trip instead! Can't recommend them enough.

My husband and I are so grateful for Cendy staying with our ~1yr old cat for nearly a full month. We were nervous to leave her for so long but Cendy had Wilma literally eating out of the palm of his hand and snuggling with him in no time. Cendy was incredibly communicative with us and attentive to Wilma consistently for the entire duration of the sit which was such a relief and gave us the piece-of-mind needed to fully enjoy our trip. We returned back to an impeccably clean apartment and a very content kitty. For the first few days back Wilma was definitely looking around for Cendy, missing her buddy. We (and Wilma!) would welcome Cendy back any time, especially for a longer stay knowing how responsible of a sitter he was. Couldn't recommend enough!

Jenny was an absolute delight, lovely to speak to and patient with last minute changes. I have had bad experiences with trusting people with my cats before so was really anxious as Jenny is the first house sitter I have used from zeewoi. But, I felt at ease as soon as I spoke to her, she has a lovely manner and she came round the day before the sit to male sure she had every detail right. But I think the thing that helped the most was her regular updates about my cats. I could see from the videos she sent they were given lots of love and attention. My cats don't usually play with people but my little girl seemed to love her! My flat was immaculate when I got back as well, I am so grateful to Jenny for all her help and really hope to have her sit for me again!

My feisty rescue, Tara, absolutely adores going to Samantha’s whether it’s for daycare, home boarding, or the both of us joining in pack walks and training sessions (either as part of a group or on a 1:1). Samantha has enabled me to make changes to my interactions with Tara and understand how I was triggering unwanted behaviours in my dog. She has helped me to understand more about breed fulfilment (Tara is a real mixture of tenacious terriers, strong willed Lhasa Apso & feisty Chihuahua) and how to meet these needs in a constructive manner. Tara is on a strictly managed diet to control a health condition. Samantha has been very supportive in ensuring Tara only has her “safe foods” as treats/rewards. After moving to the area and doing some research, Sam came up as the person to go to for help with my reactive Aussie Shepherd. I've worked with a few trainers over the years, some I've never gone back to after the first session and some imparted such helpful, practical advice, it became everyday practice to use it. Sam definitely falls into the second category. In our 1-2-1 training sessions, she listens to what we need and adapts the training accordingly. She helps us understand how our dog views the world and work with him to make his life less complicated and she gives us homework for which we see visible results and she's always on hand in between sessions to offer help and support. She's also introduced us to a network of training support up here.
Samantha has helped me with many aspects of my GSP’s training. Recall, obedience, boundaries. All done with care and compassion. Samantha’s knowledge is top class. She is my first port of call for all things dog related.
We got in touch with Samantha after struggling with the training of our cocker spaniel puppy. We did one to one training with her which was followed up by useful videos and tips. This progressed onto recall training and under Sam’s expert guidance we now have a dog that we can walk off lead. Sam is so enthusiastic, knowledgeable and nothing phases her. She is one remarkable lady and so glad we found her.
We started working with Sam when we first got our 12 week old puppy. She taught us everything we needed to know to set her up for success. Sam & Tez continually create opportunities for dogs & their owners to learn, practice (and fail!) in a controlled and supportive environment. Through their support, insight and patience we now have a very easy going, content and well balanced border collie. Working with Sam & Tez over the last 1.5 years has made owning a dog an absolute joy ✨
I first met sam when she helped me with my husky to tighten up his recall and work on prey drive. He enjoyed several wonderful offlead years thanks to her guidance. My next dog was a Caucasian shepherd who was seriously dog aggressive. Without the knowledge Sam passed on to me we would have been totally lost. Working with Sam and on my own dog made training a joy. We saw constant progress and these days my dog regularly goes on pack walks and has a wonderful life. She has shown me how to work my dog around his triggers and change his behaviour patterns without having to hide away from them for years on end. I would highly recommend Sam for any and all issues you may have with your own dog.

Playful Paws is one of the most magical places you could take your dogs, and I could not recommend a visit enough! Our Labrador absolutely adores it and gets to fully burn off his energy with his best friends. We get feedback on his day and see photos of what he gets up to. The staff are friendly, attentive and nothing is too much when it comes to your dogs. Our dog used to get too excited on walks when meeting other dogs (he wants to be everyone’s friend) but since visiting PP, he is calmer, much easier to walk, and less overexcited at the site of any other walkers/dogs. He is more calm at home and means he still gets a good bit of exercise in on those busy days when it’s hard to get the time to give them a decent walk! Reasonably priced with block sessions available also! Definitely give them a try!
We had a funeral in Inverness and had difficulties finding care for our two dogs at short notice. Phone call to Playful Paws and it was sorted. Took the dogs along and was very impressed by their set up. Good inside and outside facilities and while I was there there was 1 member of staff to 3 dogs. The real above and beyond service was delivering the dogs back to our hotel. Very tired which was a great sign of the day they had. Will recommend this place to anyone staying in, or visiting Inverness with dogs.
