Nora and Richard were amazing house sitters and 100 % embraced our elderly dog that presented some new behaviours. Timber was happy and relaxed when we returned. Request and comment would be that you strip the bed sheets, start the laundry and do a final check on the bathroom cleanliness. Florian and Maria were great with Elliot our 13 year old dog. They were very helpful in keeping the house clean and Eliot entertained ! hello, we are a family that loves animals and travel.
Hana and family had sat here before so were familiar with the arrangements and the local shops etc. This meant the handover was very quick and I knew the dog and house were in good hands and so it proved. Despite having a family problem in the Czech Republic half way through the sit necessitating her husband to go home for a while the family made their own arrangements so I was not inconvenienced. That is the sign of committed Housesitters! When I got home the house was immaculatly clean with all laundry done and there was even a goulash ready for me. I can recommend Hana and family very highly and would not hesitate to have them back again next year.

It was great to have Mirjam and Maya at my apartment. Mirjam is really dedicated to teach well her daughter on how to treat animals, and there was no issue on having her daughter Maya playing around in the apartment with the cats. They arrive one day before for the sitting so we checked with me present how the cats behaved and all was good. I can really recommend Mirjam to look after your fluffy friends :)!

Tina arrived earlier to ensure we had a proper time for a meet & greet before we left for our holiday. She kept the apartment very clean, tidy and in perfect condition. Our dog Lizak was well taken care of, meeting his daily walking requirements and she sent regular photo & video updates. The only downside was that Tina didn't seem to refer to our help document that we prepared and sent ahead of time and we had to regularly answer questions she had that were explained in the document. She also struggled with remembering the commands (in fairness they are in Polish but quite simple and the document we shared included both phonetics & audio examples.) Due to us having limited access to internet this trip, we added a friend as an additional contact for Tina to reach out to in the event of any issues. When small issues did pop up, Tina didn't hesitate to ask for advice & clarification which we greatly appreciated. Also, even though we arrived back home later than planned due to flight delays, Tina stayed longer to ensure Lizak wasn't left alone. Overall, Lizak's needs were met and we returned home to find everything was in order.

Cung was a wonderful cat sitter and housesitter and we would happily invite him back again. He was excellent with our cats and sent plenty of photos, and also left the house impeccably clean. We had to come back a day early and so we got to spend some time with him which we enjoyed as well. 10 out of 10 recommend!

I never met Joi because due to her work, she arrived after I left and was gone before I returned home. This wasn't a problem at all. She was very self-sufficient and seemed to find all that she needed in my house. The house looked exactly like I left it and my cat seemed very content when I returned. Apparently they had a nightly routine of Luna getting brushed. Joi is a very experienced sitter and it shows.

I feel that Julia is simply the best person and pet sitter I could ask for. They really cared for our cat and gave him lots of attention. She is flexible, upbeat, reliable, considerate and great at communicating. I highly recommend Julia and Chris.

The best cat sitters ever! They loved our cats and spent so much time playing with them and making sure they were happy! We had photos and videos every day with funny little messages and we came home to two very happy, healthy cats. The house was spotless and they even washed the linen and towels! They left us some cute Easter presents and breakfast shopping in the fridge, as we were returning after a long flight. We would definitely recommend Michael and Jeanne to anyone and hope they will come back to Teignmouth in the near future. Thanks very much for looking after our beautiful cats and our home x

Laura came across the country to sit for us. She arrived a day early and from the moment my pets met her our Lokie was smitten. We have one shy cat Luna and she was out and about on the first night. Laura kept us updated and shared her Adventures as well. We do live in a small hideaway of a town so seeing that she was able to enjoy herself was nice. We returned to a clean home, laundry done also, and very content pets. Lokie was sad for a few days as he missed his friend. We would recommend Laura as a sitter to anyone and would have her back again. 5 plus stars. ⭐

Ruthee was a fabulous pet sitter for our three cats while we were gone for a month. Prior to the sit, she was consistent and communicative; she even came over early for a meet and greet to learn the routine. During the sit, she took great care of our three cats by playing with them (she made a fun cat toy!), scooping litter, feeding and watering them, and sent us text updates and pictures. We came home to happy fur babies and a clean home. She left the place very tidy which was greatly appreciated! We are so thankful for Ruthee and would recommend her should the opportunity arise. Catherine was a wonderful sitter for our 17 year old cat Zabba. She sent us pictures twice a day and kept us informed about Zabba’s daily activities. We came home to a clean home and would definitely recommend her as a pet/ house sitter. My only concern was that she doesn’t drive and with an older cat, I just prayed that Zabba didn’t need to go to the vet…. And he didn’t 🥰. We will ask her again for sure.

Oh wow! Everyone should be so lucky to have Nicholas and Veerle watch their house and pets. These lovely people are pros! They communicated early and often, were super accommodating to some last minute changes (it was originally going to be only our cats to watch but we decided to keep the dog home as well so that added to the schedule and care needs) and they left the house spotless and all set up for another sitter who came in after them. We didn’t get the chance to meet because my departure and arrival times but I dearly hope I get to in the future because they were just great! I even heard how nice they were from My neighbors who say them out walking our dog. :-) They also sent regular pictures of the pets which look like pro-photography! Cannot recommend this couple enough! Your pets and house will be in good hands!

Jose was a wonderful pet/house sitter for us recently. We highly recommend him. He was wonderfully reliable and responsible and took such good care of our two pets. On short notice Jose drove down from Grass Valley to the East Bay for a bit of a quiet get-away while working a really hard job teaching online. We know how hard that is firsthand and partly why we needed our own get-away for a last-minute backpacking trip. We have a recently rescued pit bull and a rescued cat that we're still introducing to each other to make sure the dog doesn't eat the cat (as he seems to want to), and the cat doesn't blind the dog (as she would if he tried to eat her). That might be more background than is needed in a review but Jose made us feel comfortable about everything because of how conscientious and responsible he clearly is. We could tell when we talked to him that he was genuinely kind and eminently trustworthy. We are very grateful and hope Jose was happy with everything too because we know what a value his care was to us. Jose truly deserves any and all house-sitting gigs that strike his interest. Ours was not the easiest and he was amazing. Get him if you can.
