Susie and Gary are a great sitting team! We left them to care for our home and pets for 6 weeks while we went to South America. It was the longest sit we had ever had so we were happy that we felt so comfortable leaving our pets with them. They arrived the day before our departure so that we could acquaint them with our pets, home and property. Our pets include a very senior dog so it was important for us to know that she would be in really good hands. We couldn't have asked for any better care for her and for all of them. Susie and Gary were very much in tune with our old girl and kept us in the loop as to how she was doing. I really have to stress that we were nervous to be leaving her for so long at her advanced age but once we met Susie and Gary, we felt completely comfortable that all would be well and it was! On our return, they met us at the airport with our car and we had a quick lunch and update as they were flying home later that same day. We arrived home and were met by happy and healthy pets and an immaculate house. I know they had to be up very early in the morning to accomplish this due to the time of our flight arrival so we truly appreciated this. We would recommend Susie and Gary in a heartbeat. As happy as our pets were to see us return, I think they are also missing them. They were their people for 6 weeks! These two are real pros at sitting and provide top notch care giving you a worry free vacation. Thank you Susie and Gary!

This is the second time we’ve had Dereta and Hugh as housesitters. They are a delightful, caring couple and they are very professional and conscientious. Again they did a wonderful job housesitting for us and taking beautiful care of our two elderly dogs . Our very needy poodle cross even bonded particularly well with Dereta. Communication was great with photos of them having a wonderful time. It was very reassuring knowing our dogs and home were in such good care while we were away. We had plenty of communication beforehand to organise everything, ask each other questions etc. they arrived on time and we were able to do a full handover. We left the next day feeling fully assured that the dogs were in safe hands. We had a few updates while we were away too. The dogs were happy, house was clean and tidy when we got back. The best cat sitters ever! They loved our cats and spent so much time playing with them and making sure they were happy! We had photos and videos every day with funny little messages and we came home to two very happy, healthy cats. The house was spotless and they even washed the linen and towels! They left us some cute Easter presents and breakfast shopping in the fridge, as we were returning after a long flight. We would definitely recommend Michael and Jeanne to anyone and hope they will come back to Teignmouth in the near future. Thanks very much for looking after our beautiful cats and our home x

Sabre is a sweet, honest person who stepped up at the very last moment (after the prior sitter flaked out) to watch our dog and cat for 17 days. When there were a couple minor accidents, she informed us of them right away. One involved a burnt pan (easy to do if you’re not familiar with an induction stovetop) which she offered to replace. Sabre also washed the towels and sheets, and made up the bed before we got home. The yard was pooper scooped and litter box was clean. Pets seemed well-cared for. When she had to leave town for several hours one day, she made sure to arrange for our neighbor take care of the pets. Additionally, I appreciated how she didn’t assume that it would be ok to bring her cat. When we found out she was going to keep her cat in a kennel during her stay here, we told her she could bring him which worked out fine. Overall, I would confidently recommend Sabre to watch your pets and house.

Quinn was an amazing sitter for my cat Moon! She regularly checked in with updates on moon while we were away on a two week vacation, and seemed to give her plenty of attention, play with her, etc. Communication was easy and she left our apartment spotless after departing. Oh wow! Everyone should be so lucky to have Nicholas and Veerle watch their house and pets. These lovely people are pros! They communicated early and often, were super accommodating to some last minute changes (it was originally going to be only our cats to watch but we decided to keep the dog home as well so that added to the schedule and care needs) and they left the house spotless and all set up for another sitter who came in after them. We didn’t get the chance to meet because my departure and arrival times but I dearly hope I get to in the future because they were just great! I even heard how nice they were from My neighbors who say them out walking our dog. :-) They also sent regular pictures of the pets which look like pro-photography! Cannot recommend this couple enough! Your pets and house will be in good hands!

We left a little worried about him, but Jenima took care of him really well and kept us informed. Cats love her! We definitely recommend her to take care of your pets!

She was willing to work with me as I dithered on whether I was actually going to go on my trip (which was dependent on good weather), and when I finally decided on making my trip one day shorter. House was clean and organized on my return, and, more importantly, my cat was calm and relaxed on my return. I would happily have Jinnie come sit for me and Felix again.

I whole-heartedly recommend Carly and her partner Fanny to sit for you! They were fabulous and reliable house sitters from start to finish. Carly was timely and thoughtful in all of her communications and let us know the state of affairs in our apartment with our cat and plant babies while we were away. They followed our directions to a 'T.' We came home to find a happy cat, thriving plants, a spotless apartment and laundered linens.
