Bridget (Bee) sat for us for three weeks this summer. This was the second time she had looked after Maggie and our house, and we have asked her back again this Christmas, which I think says it all! Bee is warm, friendly, kind and considerate. Her first priority is always to make Maggie happy and feel loved, and we have come home to a very content dog, who I think is missing Bee a lot! Bee sent us photos or videos on a daily basis while we were away, telling us what she'd been up to with Maggie. She looked after our garden beautifully - we came back to a perfect lawn and a well-watered, happy garden. It was wonderful to know that she was enjoying the house and garden while we were away, and she left everything spotless. We couldn't recommend Bee enough and fingers crossed she can sit for us again! x

Trustworthy couple
Stephanie & David were the perfect house sitters. Our little dog Ocean was extremely well looked after and from all the lovely photos and videos we were sent during the sit, we can see he got to go on lots of lovely walks and adventures. Stephanie & David were also very accommodating in that they agreed to add an extra day onto their sit so that we could attend a family party back in Scotland which was greatly appreciated. They also went above and beyond by cooking us a lovely dinner for our return after our very long drive back from Scotland! The house was also left immaculate (floors mopped, towels etc were all washed for us coming home). I wouldn't hesitate to have Stephanie & David back to sit with us again and would recommend as outstanding housesitters to anyone lucky enough to have them in their home.

This was our second house sit for Inka and we were delighted with how it went. Ali and Matt were lovely and are clearly highly experienced dog sitters. They made a great bond with Inka and took her on some lovely walks and trips. She even has new toys. Both Ali and Matt were very self-sufficient. Communication was just right- not too much or too little and we were able to thoroughly enjoy our holiday without any worries. We would be delighted to have Ali and Matt back in the future.

This was out first house sit with Melanie. She came to visit prior to her stay, to meet the dogs and familiarise herself with the house. Melanie asked relevant questions about the dogs routine, feeding etc, so we left feeling very confident, the dogs and house were in safe hands. Although we were only away for one night, we were sent photographs of the dogs out walking on the beach and a message from Melanie reassuring us that everything was fine. When we returned home, the dogs were happy and well and the house was left incredibly clean. We hope Melanie and Robin will be available to house sit for us again. Thank you both.

Julie and Nick have sat for us before and will be again later in the year. As ever they are very efficient and nothing seems to phase them at all. Our boys love them to bits in fact we don't get a look in when they are around so I am pretty sure their pet care is second to none. Both Julie and Nick are lovely people, friendly and chatty and we would wholeheartedly recommend them

I recommend Caroline and Barry without hesitation. We had a phone call before we met and talked through their experience and our expectations. I had no concerns from that point forward. They messaged shortly before arrival to check all was as planned and to arrange a time. We had dinner together and a long walk with Laz to check all was OK before we left the next day. Barry and Caroline are independent, resourceful and clearly capable people. The house was as clean as we left it, towels in the wash. I couldn't have asked for more. Barry responded quickly to any messages, asked how much contact we would like and sent some lovely reassuring photos and messages of them out with Laz. Laz was in great condition when we returned after a week away, coat shiny and obviously well exercised. The photos of their days out together were evidence of how much he was included in Barry and Caroline's stay and exploration of all that mid Cornwall has to offer. Laz is a great car traveller. You don't know he is there and he is happy to go for days out, especially if there is fuss and food in with it! They are friendly, sociable and easy company. I'm really glad that they applied for our sit. They endorse all that zeewoi hopes to provide and I would be very happy if they could return another time. For those lucky enough to have Barry and Caroline apply to sit, accept! You won't regret it....

Sandra & Rick are fantastic pet sitters! They looked after Archie our ginger Tom for a week and he had the best of times. Their communication before, during and after the stay is exceptional leaving us relaxed to enjoy our hols. The house was spotless on our return and we (and Archie) will definitely invite them back. Seàn was an amazing pet and house sitter! He was super communicative and took amazing care of my dog Nala and cat Bruce. They were happy and loved while I was away- I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for the two little fur babies! He sent great pictures and checked in every day so I had nothing to worry about. On top of all that, he also kept my place immaculately clean and left my place in wonderful shape. We can’t wait to have him back to sit and I would highly recommend him to anyone and everyone looking for a sitter!

Julia was an amazing sitter and we couldn't be happier with our experience! From our first contact to when we arrived home after our trip, communication was excellent and we were able to enjoy our time away with complete peace of mind that our pets and our home were in good hands. Ally was great! We got to meet for a few minutes before I headed out and I felt super reassured that both Goose and my home were in good hands. My cat is picky when it comes to strangers, but he was comfy in Ally’s lap right away the first night! She communicated well and sent cute pictures while I was away. My home was clean and Goose was happy when o got back. I highly recommend Ally as a sitter and she’s welcomed back anytime!

Kathy and Ron arrived at our home with a most fantastical toy for our cats and a giant apple pie. Need I say more? They are very experienced sitters and brought personal items that they prefer. We knew we were leaving out cats in good hands. A large part of their 'job' was hand watering our garden and Ron took that in stride. Everything is thriving. Our cats are usually distant with new people but we received photos of them keeping Kathy and Ron company in various situations which was reassuring. They clearly won our cats over. Although Ron and Kathy had a ferry to catch on their last day, they took time to wash their linens and hang them on the clothesline. They also left us a gorgeous plant for our garden. We would very much like to have them back for a longer sit if possible.

We can not exaggerate the care and love Juliet and Laurent gave to our cat, Piero, during his the last few weeks of life. While we left for our trip thinking he merely had a bladder infection, his symptoms turned for the worse a weeks into their sit and later revealed he had cancer. No one would wish their sitter to need to hospice their cat but Juliet and Laurent showed such compassion for Piero and volunteered to be with him when we made the decision to put him down. It was an emotional time for all of us and we will be forever grateful to our two caring cat and house sitters. We have had many fantastic housesitters through zeewoi but Juliet and Laurent top the list. Their professionalism, constant communication and compassion were exceptional. Should you have the opportunity to have them in your home, do not hesitate to book them, you will have no regrets. We do, however, regret that they had such a short time with Piero and had to experience such a painful event.

My husband and I reached out to Toby & Chloe after reading their profile and impressive reviews only a week before our trip, since our scheduled sitter had to cancel at the last moment. They were very friendly and quick to respond to chat from the very beginning, and ended up exceeding our expectations during their two week stay. It was evident they had thoroughly read our Welcome Guide beforehand, as they arrived knowledgeable and prepared to care for our home and pets. They were very willing and happy to take the necessary time with us to walk through the house and meet our cats, as we got them acclimated with our daily routines and answered any questions. Shortly after we left, our city had a heat wave come through, and after immediately notifying us, Toby went beyond the call of duty and inspected our struggling AC unit to pinpoint the issue. As far as cat care is concerned, we have two seniors (who have more sensitive tummies) that can get irritated after a fur ball or swallowing anything out of the ordinary. When this occurred, Toby & Chloe stepped in and took wonderful care of our cat duo; softening their food and even cradling while hand-feeding them for extra comfort. We truly could not have asked for more affectionate and responsible sitters. We returned to a spotlessly clean home, happy cats, and well maintained plants and pool. (They even cleaned our dusty Kitchen pendant lighting, which requires a steady hand and is definitely a time-commitment …We felt like professional housecleaners had been there!) On our way back, Toby & Chloe stayed in communication with us to monitor our arrival time, allowing them to care for our cats until just before we got home. Overall, they are very reliable and trustworthy sitters whose genuine goal is to provide a top-quality sit, while maintaining your household and seamlessly transitioning to your pets daily schedule.

Kristine was wonderful again as our local sitter from just down the street. The boys take to her like she is their best friend whenever she comes to sit with them. She sent us photos of them playing, relaxing, drinking water and eating so we knew they were well taken care of. The house and the cats were in excellent shape and excellent hands while we were away. I whole-heartedly recommend Carly and her partner Fanny to sit for you! They were fabulous and reliable house sitters from start to finish. Carly was timely and thoughtful in all of her communications and let us know the state of affairs in our apartment with our cat and plant babies while we were away.
