Denise was one of the best dog/house Sitter’s we have had. She stayed at our home for 4 weeks. She adored the dogs which was mutual and I really noticed how much they missed her when we got home. She also took great care of our two bunnies. Denise would always be up early taking the dogs for a morning walk before she started her at home on line job and then always made sure they had another lovely walk in the evening. We received daily gorgeous photos and videos and lots of voice mail messages especially if she had any concerns so we could resolve them for her. She also got on really well with all our neighbours who loved her. She went out of her way to borrow our neighbours lawn mower and took great care of our Gardens making sure all our outdoor and indoor plants were watered and the garden looked amazing when we came home as well as the house which was completely clean. She even went to the trouble of washing and changing her own bed so her bedroom was spotless when we came home. We would love for her to come again when we go away next summer. Louise & Nigel were great and we really appreciate the way they looked after both our pets and our house. Louise was an excellent communicator and we felt completely relaxed knowing everything was in their care . We came home to a spotless house with the sheets and towels washed which was very kind and thoughtful. There was a problem with the lights in the kitchen and Nigel and Louise dealt with it without hesitation or missing a beat. Mino, Dash and Flick were all looking wonderfully well and Min had particularly appreciated all the walks and trips to the cafes in the village! I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them and am REALLY hoping they might like to come back at some time in the future!

Wendy and Fred were absolutely amazing! We started with a video call to learn more about each other and the needs of our dogs. From that very first video call I knew they would be great. We remained in contact right up until they arrived, which put me right at ease. We agreed that it would best if they came the day before we were set to depart as a way to acclimatize the pups to having them in our home. The following day we gave them a tour and they asked all the right questions. The dogs were immediately comfortable with them which again put us at ease. While we were away, Wendy and Fred kept us up to date on how the pups were doing with lots of pictures. Its no surprise they were doing just fine!! More than fine actually, Darcy and Fred Bonded, which was easy to tell from all the pictures. The kittens were well taken care of as well, with Wendy giving them some personal TLC. Heading back home is always a pain, as we live 2.5 hours from the airport but Wendy and Fred assured me that they wouldn't leave the dogs until they knew we were safely on the road. When we arrived home, the place was spotless and the dogs were relaxing on the couch. I cannot give them enough praise. They were absolutely amazing. Loving our dogs as if they were their own. I highly recommend them both. Your pups will be lucky to have them

Reliable, cheerful & low maintenance sitters!
Sarah is an excellent sitter and I will have no reservation about inviting her again. We had a hiccup in that the airline cancelled her flight and she wasn’t able to arrive until the following day, but she kept us updated the whole time so we knew what was happening. Fortunately we have a lovely neighbour who was able to step in for one night, so every thing was fine in the end. Sarah sent us lots of lovely pictures and Nina was completely content, only ignoring us for a short time on our return! The house was clean and tidy and the bed was stripped. Jadhe and Marcelo are very lovely, honest and reliable people. They are fantastic petsitters, they love animals as if they were their children. Young, enterprising and courageous people to whom I wish all the best. The only negative note that I unfortunately have to admit is that they are quite messy and above all they need to learn to keep the house cleaner. Their young age, perhaps, leads them to other priorities. Despite everything, I hope to see them again in the future, because they have done a really good job for my animals. Catarina did a very good job. It wasn't easy for her to manage a big house on her own in such a short time. But it was like an old saying - "if my dogs like you, I like you". Stuart and Emma are a lovely couple, warm, friendly and relaxed. They are fantastic pet and house sitters! The communication with Emma and Stuart was great, we had a video call beforehand and I felt straight away at ease with them. They came out the day before to get acquainted with the dogs and us. It was lovely meeting Emma and Stuart, it reassured us that the dogs and our house would be well looked after. They sent us every couple of days updates and photos of Penny and Rosa. When we came home we got a warm welcome, our "girls" were happy and relaxed and the house was tidy and clean. I would ask Emma and Stuart back any time and recommend them to anyone looking for a caring and reliable petsitter! Our dogs will miss them, they had a good time with them. It was my first time using zeewoi so I was slightly apprehensive, but as soon as I heard from Kendra I knew both my cat and my apartment would be in safe hands. Kendra was great with communicating and coming back quickly, very friendly and clearly experienced with sitter jobs. Whilst staying at my place she sent me regular updates. Once I returned home the flat was spotless. I would highly recommend Kendra and I would certainly use her again. She’s great!

Cung was a wonderful cat sitter and housesitter and we would happily invite him back again. He was excellent with our cats and sent plenty of photos, and also left the house impeccably clean. We had to come back a day early and so we got to spend some time with him which we enjoyed as well. 10 out of 10 recommend!

Chris and Julia were our very first sitters and are the most perfect house/pet sitters anyone would ever want!!! Julia sent video/pictures of our fur babies everyday and we noticed early on that our animals were very relaxed and happy!! This made our trip so enjoyable and stress free knowing that our animals were safe and being spoiled and loved the whole time. They even trained our dog to sit while her leash was being attached and was able to pet and hold our cat that is somewhat nervous around strange people he doesn't know. When I got back from the trip, the house was very clean along with Julia/Chris had washed the bed sheets, bath towels, vacuumed, dusted etc., and even washed the pet bedding. They also left some SE Asia treats for us to try which so sweet of them. Definitely the perfect house sitters!!!

She's a local sitter and I wasnt' having any responses so I contacted her and she fit me into her schedule even during the holidays and right after another sit across the country. Brian is a very professional sitter that does a good job, pays attention to details and is easy to work with. I have a lot of plants. A lot. He suggested me do a video for the plant care so he could be sure of which ones needed what. Brilliant! I’d never thought of that. They were in great shape when I returned. I explained that I needed some flexibility with travel dates, he agreed and rolled with the punches like a champ when my dates did indeed change. Unfortunately, he was a bit allergic to my cat but made it work anyway. He was really awesome about everything including a tree that fell next door in a storm and blocked the road for three days. I appreciate that he appreciated how funny and how much personality Boo has. They got along well and I received some great videos. I returned home to a happy cat and a house well taken care of 😊. I would definitely recommend Brian.

Wow, what a find Justin is! I feel as though I won a lottery. As I was revelling in the communication we were having during his stay, I looked over his profile and realized either that he had updated it during his stay OR I never even read it. I was so impressed with his initial application that described multiple stays taking care of cats in Turkey that I knew he was going to be a great choice. So I'm not sure that I even read his profile or reviews. Turned out...he was more than I could have EVER hoped for. Justin is VERY organized and clear with his communication. Just as--or maybe more--important, he is a poster child for what zeewoi can be: more than just an economical way to get a pet sitter or a place to stay. Justin embraces the barter economy and the opportunity it presents to get to know people. Although we only met the day that I turned the house and my 2 cats over to his care, we had delightful communication throughout his stay. He wanted to be sure he was providing the right care to all living and non-living elements of my home as well as just chat beyond what we'd had an opportunity to cover when we were face to face on the handoff day. Bottom line: I'd have Justin back even if I wasn't going anywhere! I've met a friend. And my neighbors did as well! Oh yes, and my two cats were well looked after, the house was in ship shape, and Justin was able to brief the next sitter in person (I'd had to extend my time away and Justin already had another commitment). To say I felt confident leaving my pets and home in Justin's care is an understatement. Justin is a real adventurer and believer in the power of both human and animal connection. Without a doubt, I would recommend him as a sitter...and a friend! Thank you, Justin for a great example of how to wrestle so much more meaning out of zeewoi.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Kathryn! I needed to extend dates for the sit after we had set it up and she was able to accommodate this so was actually here from 10/4-20. She was timely and communicative throughout - and she is a very nice person. She kept the house really tidy and followed all instructions well. My cats took to her quickly. When I returned, they had been very well cared for and seemed fully content even though I'd never left them for long before. While away, I reached out to Kathryn by text several times regarding deliveries, etc. She was very prompt in responding and adept at handling issues as they arose. I highly recommend Kathryn as a house sitter - and would happily work with her again!

Jose was a wonderful pet/house sitter for us recently. We highly recommend him. He was wonderfully reliable and responsible and took such good care of our two pets. On short notice Jose drove down from Grass Valley to the East Bay for a bit of a quiet get-away while working a really hard job teaching online. We know how hard that is firsthand and partly why we needed our own get-away for a last-minute backpacking trip. We have a recently rescued pit bull and a rescued cat that we're still introducing to each other to make sure the dog doesn't eat the cat (as he seems to want to), and the cat doesn't blind the dog (as she would if he tried to eat her). That might be more background than is needed in a review but Jose made us feel comfortable about everything because of how conscientious and responsible he clearly is. We could tell when we talked to him that he was genuinely kind and eminently trustworthy. We are very grateful and hope Jose was happy with everything too because we know what a value his care was to us. Jose truly deserves any and all house-sitting gigs that strike his interest. Ours was not the easiest and he was amazing. Get him if you can.

Pennee and Bill were the BEST pet sitters and guests ever! I really wanted them to stay forever ! Our cat, Miss Kitty bonded so much to them, that she really wasn’t that happy to see me when I got home .Our cat is a finicky eater and they tried all different types of food and treats for her. They sent me regular photos of miss kitty and I knew everything was great when most of the pics had miss kitty on their lap. Our cat doesn’t take to many people but she immediately fell in love with them. Pennee sent us our mail and prescription meds on a regular basis , and went out of her way to take care of any issues . They fell in love with the neighbors and community and just made our lives so easy . We experienced the Covid 19 virus outbreak quarantine during this time and Pennee and Bill agreed to stay a month longer at our home . They were extremely flexible with their travel plans so that everyone would be safe. Upon our arrival home, we were greeted with a bouquet of flowers , beautiful hanging basket of flowers for outdoors and a beautiful bottle of wine . And our house had never been cleaner ! Bill and Pennee are a pet owners dream couple !I felt extremely lucky to have found such a great petsitter and new friend . We will be visiting each other in the future .
