Providing Pet Sitting in the Waldo, Minnesota
Retired firefighter ready to assist you! Tidy, organized, reliable.
Erik is an *expert* housesitter. He was the utimate peace of mind for us as we took a long vacation and left our 1 year old rambunctious pup behind in the safety of his care. Not only were the preparation and interactions leading up to the sit highly professional and comprehensive, the sit itself was the most at ease we have been since getting our pup. During our holiday, we had a medical emergency while away and it was immensely helpful to know that Aurie and our home were in good hands. We also received the most beautiful photo updates which brought light to us while away. Can't recommend Erik enough - we feel luck to have met him!

Sharron and Andrea were fantastic, I know Holly loved being with them for she wasn’t overly concerned when I got home! Hello, I’m going outside now!

Pat and I recently retired from over 30 years of international development work.
Pat and Joe housesat for our dogs for about 2 weeks each in March and April of 2022. They are a very energetic, on the go couple. They are very experienced with all facets of housesitting, having owned their own bed and breakfast and traveled the world. Our house (and our pool and plants) were perfect upon our returns and the dogs (12 year old and a puppy) were well cared for and happy.

Special Education Teacher Seeks Travel and Animal Care
Leah and her friend were super. We had a FaceTime call early in the process so she could meet our pets. When her flight was delayed, she texted and called to make sure we knew. During their stay she sent us a picture of our dog on an adventure with them. After we got home our neighbor told us they were super polite and walked our dog regularly. This was the first time we used Zeewoi and the first time our pets were taken care of by someone other than us. Leah did a great job especially since they did not get the benefit of an in person introduction. Because their flight was delayed I sent Leah a video going over the commands and gestures we use for our dog. Leah said she was comfortable with our commands and suggested we leave some of our dogs favorite treats out for them. Leah reported our dog was responding right away. When we got home all the pets were happy and showed no signs of being stressed. Perfect and comfortable! I really appreciate Leah helping out family.

Emotionally intelligent human seeks new pet vacation buddies!
Kali took good care of Toma and Finn for a week while I visited family. I appreciated the communication and updates from her about my cats, which gave me peace of mind about the whole sit. Finn is a Siberian and a big people person, which Kali was attentive to and gave him the love and affection he wanted. Both cats seemed calm and happy when I returned, and the house was very clean! I’d love to have her back as a sitter for my next travels.

Florence and Robert were outstanding sitters. We asked them to arrive a day early as our guests to learn the routine on our farm. In getting to know them we found them to be good hearted, down to earth people with a love of animals and diligent in learning our routines to care for our poultry, cats and dog as well as our garden and orchard. Not a typical or easy sit. We travelled with ease knowing our critters were being well taken care of. Arriving home, the house was very clean and looked well cared for. The animals were healthy as were the garden and orchard. Out pets missed them when they left – our dog stared down the driveway after them until their car was out of sight. It is nice to find sitters we would like to hang out with and we look forward to having them sit for us again.
We literally cannot say enough positive things about Susan and Miranda! They are the best! From start to finish, they did an amazing job communicating with us, giving our 3 (somewhat needy) cats extremely high quality care and tons of attention, and keeping our house clean and plants watered. They took adorable pictures of the cats and sent them to us several times a day, played with them and gave them so much love and affection, and when we got home the house was even cleaner than when we left. We even asked them for some tips on how they were caring for the cats because our cats seemed happier and more relaxed than ever when we returned home to them! This was by far our best cat/house sitter experience to date. We hope Susan and Miranda are available again in the future to sit for us and would invite them back without hesitation.
Laura came across the country to sit for us. She arrived a day early and from the moment my pets met her our Lokie was smitten. We have one shy cat Luna and she was out and about on the first night. Laura kept us updated and shared her Adventures as well. We do live in a small hideaway of a town so seeing that she was able to enjoy herself was nice. We returned to a clean home, laundry done also, and very content pets. Lokie was sad for a few days as he missed his friend. We would recommend Laura as a sitter to anyone and would have her back again. 5 plus stars. ⭐
Kathryn was such nice and kind sitter that both of my boyfriend and me were grateful to have, including my cats!! My cats seemed having great time with her, being around her, chilling on couch with her, or even sitting on her. I got several photos of my cats from her with whort updates. I’m thankful that she let me do facetimes with her when I missed my cats. The house was clean and tidy when we came back. I definately will ask her again to sit my cats and house when I need. Thank you Kathryn!!:)
Florence was a great sitter for my cat Lily. I booked her a bit last minute, as a previous sitter had to cancel, but was very happy to have her. She was reliable, prompt to respond, and sent picture updates daily at my request. Judging by the pics, Lily warmed up to her nicely and they spent some lounging time together - which is high praise from a cat! Would recommend Florence for your next sit.
Oh wow! Everyone should be so lucky to have Nicholas and Veerle watch their house and pets. These lovely people are pros! They communicated early and often, were super accommodating to some last minute changes (it was originally going to be only our cats to watch but we decided to keep the dog home as well so that added to the schedule and care needs) and they left the house spotless and all set up for another sitter who came in after them. We didn’t get the chance to meet because my departure and arrival times but I dearly hope I get to in the future because they were just great! I even heard how nice they were from My neighbors who say them out walking our dog. :-) They also sent regular pictures of the pets which look like pro-photography! Cannot recommend this couple enough! Your pets and house will be in good hands!
Lindsey watched our cat and dog for a long weekend when we went out of town. She was a very communicative sitter sending frequent pictures and voice notes with updates. She did a great job of following their schedules and giving them attention. The animals seemed to be happy and relaxed when we returned home and I believe Lindsey enjoyed getting to discover all of the eateries our town has to offer. A win-win for everyone!
Tracy was an ideal pet sitter when we left for 12 days. She was communicative, friendly, and most importantly took perfect care of our two cats and our house. I would highly recommend her for any sit!
Jinnie was an excellent house sitter for me and my cat Felix. Completely responsible and reliable and helpfully flexible. She was willing to work with me as I dithered on whether I was actually going to go on my trip (which was dependent on good weather), and when I finally decided on making my trip one day shorter. House was clean and organized on my return, and, more importantly, my cat was calm and relaxed on my return. I would happily have Jinnie come sit for me and Felix again.
We've had many pet/house sitters over the last few years and Cat and Eugene will reside at the top of the list of favorites! From my first email with Cat I knew I liked her. She has all of the qualities of a good house and pet sitter: Reliable, a good listener, organized, flexible, caring, and honest. She and Eugene arrived exactly on time for our pre-sit visit, where they got to meet Maya and become familiarized with the house. It was a delight to visit with them and become comfortable knowing Maya would be in good hands. Our scheduled dates changed somewhat and they were extremely flexible and easy going about the changes. Upon our return home, we found the house pretty much in the exact condition we left it in. I can tell that great care was taken for Maya and for the house. Maya seemed to still be looking for them the next day, wandering around the house wondering where the other people who loved her went. I would recommend Cat and Eugene for anyone looking for reliable, kind, respectful, caring, tidy, and honest sitters. If I am lucky, I will get to have them back to sit for me again.
