Providing Pet Sitting in the West Yarmouth, Massachusetts
Experienced Responsible, Retired gentleman seeking to enjoy our beautiful country and beyond!
John came on his own and seemed perfectly happy to hang out with the dog. They bonded instantly and I had no qualms Bertie wouldn’t be well cared for. We gave John the use of our car and he enjoyed exploring areas where Bertie would be able to enjoy lots of smells. John checked in with us on a daily basis with photos and reports. The house was in good shape and he’d even done linens and remade the bed. Very thoughtful. John is a very nice fellow who really loves animals.

Love cats--conjuring up the next travel adventure!
Lesley and Tim were truly wonderful cat sitters- they showed up prepared with notes and questions, hit it off with my cats immediately, and were communicative throughout my trip. I came home to a very clean apartment and happy cats! They would be more than welcome to stay again.

Aunty Jayne's House/Pet Sitting
Jayne was an excellent house sitter for us and the pups really appreciated her! She was careful to understand all that our dogs needed when were gone and made our trip out of town stress-free. We highly recommend Jayne to anyone needing a reliable and trustworthy sitter for their pets!

We are a non-smoking, reliable, clean couple who love both animals and travel.
We couldn't be happier with the care that Tim and Cathy gave to our dog, Winston. We received photos daily with information regarding Winston's daily routine. They cared for my home and we were very pleased when we returned. I highly recommend them!

Delightful and Dependable Duo :)
This was the 2nd time that Sandra and her son Noah sat for our cat Homie. They are so easy- Sandra is a great communicator, they left the house in better shape than they found it, and most importantly, Homie is happy and well taken care of. I think Sandra and Noah may even treat him better than we do- always finding great new spots to set up lounge areas for him. He’s especially fond of Noah and seemed to remember him from over a year ago!

Susan was a delight and we could of not wished for anyone more perfect for Shep. After a long disruptive journey for Susan , with flight cancellations and delays getting here,Susan was a ray of sunshine. Shep adored her and is now slightly down that she has gone.We came home and noticed lots of treats bought for him and a bone.He had been out all the time which we didnt expect and he loved it.Would not hesitate again to have Susan look after Shep.Thankyou for being you 😁

Susan Nannette
Susan was fantastic. We needed to do a virtual handover and so took a few additional calls prior to her arrival and messages. She gave me extra confidence by the questions she asked about Baci and clearly taking notes. She sent regular updates and some with pics showing that Baci was truly enjoying being the only child and getting all of Susan’s attention. All in all it was a great experience and would recommend Susan for your sit.

Seàn was an amazing pet and house sitter! He was super communicative and took amazing care of my dog Nala and cat Bruce. They were happy and loved while I was away- I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for the two little fur babies! He sent great pictures and checked in every day so I had nothing to worry about. On top of all that, he also kept my place immaculately clean and left my place in wonderful shape. We can’t wait to have him back to sit and I would highly recommend him to anyone and everyone looking for a sitter!
This was our first time using zeewoi and we were a little apprehensive, especially as we were going away for almost 5 weeks, but we really didn’t need to be. Mary and Kevin were fantastic from the start. They had excellent communication and put us at ease straight away. They looked after both our cats with lots of care and we came home to two very happy and content kitties. Mary and Kevin struck the balance just right whilst we were away by keeping us informed of how the cats were and sending pictures of what the cats were up to every couple of days. It was so lovely to know that the cats were enjoying themselves and being so well looked after whilst we were away. Mary and Kevin also looked after our house extremely well and we came back to a very clean and tidy home. We would definitely recommend Mary and Kevin to anyone needing a house sitter and would love for them to sit for us again if they were ever back in the area.
Hannah and Joseph were brilliant sitters - totally reliable and trustworthy. Quick to respond to queries and their past experience with dog/ housesitting was very apparent. Our 2 dogs and 1 cat were well looked after and the house was spotless on our return. We are totally happy to recommend them.
Kimberly was absolutely wonderful, and we couldn't have had a better sitter for our first experience with zeewoi. Marshmallow loved Kimberly instantly and our cats (who can be a little standoffish) opened up right away with her. She asked great questions that helped us tailor our Welcome Guide to make sure we could be good hosts. Thank you, Kimberly!
I thoroughly enjoyed working with Kathryn! I needed to extend dates for the sit after we had set it up and she was able to accommodate this so was actually here from 10/4-20. She was timely and communicative throughout - and she is a very nice person. She kept the house really tidy and followed all instructions well. My cats took to her quickly. When I returned, they had been very well cared for and seemed fully content even though I'd never left them for long before. While away, I reached out to Kathryn by text several times regarding deliveries, etc. She was very prompt in responding and adept at handling issues as they arose. I highly recommend Kathryn as a house sitter - and would happily work with her again!
Karen was able to step in a sit for me on short notice after another sitter canceled. She was very thorough and communicative and I felt I had left my apartment and cats in good hands with her. I came home to a clean apartment and happy cats. I definitely recommend Karen as a sitter.
Heidi was an outstanding cat sitter for my Luna! She was very communicable via calls or texts. She followed all my guidelines for feeding and care of Luna. Luna was very content when I arrived home thanks to Heidi! My home was immaculate when I arrived and she did some snow shoveling. She even pulled a large broken tree branch off my roof following a windstorm. I hope Heidi is available for my next trip because she is awesome. Jim
Tonya was great and filled in after our other sitter had to cancel. She was very self sufficient and navigated acclimating herself to everything since she arrived after we left. She gave thoughtful updates on my cat and I could tell she really enjoyed her, so that means the world to me! She left the place immaculate and we will certainly have Tonya back!
Cat and Paul were wonderful sitters - our cats were contented and calm when we returned. And the house was spotless. Plus Paul mowed our entire yard including the back meadow - what a surprise! We very much enjoyed visiting with them as well and getting to know them. Highly recommend :)
Super nice sitters and extremely flexible. Really enjoyed their company and I only regret that I was too frazzled to chat with them more and get to know them! Kept the house super clean, pets loved them. Dog especially. Had a little problem with my new kitten not meshing well with the older cats (which was not too surprising since cats can be territorial). Pennee was very patient and gave me constant updates and tips. And the older cat was much more calm when I came home. Highly recommend and welcome back anytime!
Is it better to board cats or leave at home?
Veterinarians advising to leave cats at home with a pet sitter who will stay overnight in your home, boarding is not recommended for cats as they are stressed in a new environment, you can find a sitter who will care for your cats and home for free at Zeewoi.
How much should you pay someone to watch your cat?
At least $20 per visit, $14/day per overnight watching in your home, otherwise you can find a free sitter at Zeewoi.
What do people do with their cats when they go on vacation?
Inviting a cat sitter to your home, boarding the cat with a local business, asking a friend, family or neighbour to feed and check the well-being. The most efficient way to leave your cat during your vacation is with Zeewoi cat sitters for free, in this way, you will save cat sitting costs and make vacation not only for you but also for your cat sitter!
Well managed, extremely clean and staff is well trained and friendly. My dog grew up in multiple daycare environments and when he comes home from PETiculars he is clean, doesn't smell, and isn't stressed out. You can tell he's well cared for, and has been given individual care and played with. The cost is straight forward with no hidden fees and I love that there are a clear number of staff to dog ratios that makes me feel safe dropping off my dog and know he's being watched closely and not getting lost in a mix. Every holiday it feels like there are adorable "school pictures" shared, and every time I pick my dog up I get a personalized and detailed update on how he did that day from a staff member. If something new is going on, customers are updated by management, and I feel everything is very upfront, straightforward and transparent. Highly recommended!
PETiculars is an amazing daycare for dogs. It is very clean, never overcrowded and the staff is always friendly. There is plenty of space so that dogs with different levels of energy can each do their own thing. Amber enjoys relaxing on a cot in the sunshine while other dogs are running around and having too much fun! Pictures and videos of the dogs are posted throughout the day. Boarding and nail trims are also available.
Best staff!! They treat my pup like family! Very accommodating. 10/10 recommend!
This day care center is excellent! 5 stars across the board, from the owner/operator who goes to the greatest lengths to make sure the dogs are happy, safe, clean, and taken care of from a-z. It is a meticulous, cheery place with an outstanding owner. Can't say enough great things, after many years of experience with the owner...excellent all around.
I took my pup Tobie there many times and he loved it..Last visit was in 2020... I was so glad to see that this business is still doing well..
We love Peticulars The staff is caring and pleasant The facility is accommodating and clean The feedback is always prompt and in detail Always a smile Maggie is happy there
Clean facility. Some of the best staff. Pups are treated like family. Highly recommend.
If you are planning to do dog daycare in Cape Cod during summertime- make sure you reserve a spot few months before. It is a lesson for me to learned. One of my dogs have separate anxiety. It has been stressful for me to leave him home alone. Lucky, I found Peticulars. Owner showed me around their cute daycare first. Workers are so friendly and welcoming. They are very communicative. My level of stress went down to 0%. They spoke highly of my dogs. It’s like they pay attention to my dogs. Also, one of them were able to trim my Teddy’s nails with no problem. My local daycare in my hometown couldn’t do this. Highly recommend! I will be back when I am back to Cape Cod. Thank you!
I spend a lot of time on the Cape with my daughter and grand kids. Our dog is a rescue and we take him everywhere with us. But I needed a place to leave him on days when it is too hot or cold for the car: a place I trusted, a place where he would be properly and well taken care of. I found that place at PETiculars. I called them one morning, went over within the hour to tour the place, and was able to leave my dog that same afternoon for a few hours. He loved it there. And he came home happy and tired. The staff were friendly and informative. They clearly knew dogs. I recommend PETiculars highly. Of course, I'd rather keep them a secret so I can be sure of an open spot for my pup! It is a small facility, so call ahead. These guys are so good, they will become very popular. Prices were very reasonable. One drawback, they don't do overnights right now. Thanks for taking such good care of Sebastian!
We absolutely love Peticulars! Pups (Chloe - a 14 lb. Yorkie and Chaz - a 84 lb Doodle) love coming to play! They don't look back once they go through the doors and guaranteed to be exhausted when they come home! The staff are loving and caring and owner, Linda, is the best! I trust the pups here cause they treat them like our fur babies, with love and care! Highly recommend!
Training at Howl-a-Day. This is the last thing I want to do. But I feel compelled to write this review to save even just one person from spending way too much money on a subpar training experience. I was quoted a price—in person by Matt, the owner—of $1400.00 for 10 training sessions. After 6 sessions, I was told that they would not be providing any more lessons because I opted not to use e-collars. I had told Matt on day one that I wasn’t sure about using e-collars on my dogs. He assured me that he could still train without the e-collars, but that it might just take a little longer to get them there. On the day of our sixth training, his employee told me we were done, then followed me to my car to get the e-collars back. I was shocked! I reached out to Matt, upset and confused, only to be told that he would not be doing further training with us because we weren’t using e-collars. For $1400.00 my dogs learned basic puppy-class skills: sit, down, stay, heal, and come. I could have learned this for free on YouTube, or for a fraction of the cost at a puppy training class at Pet Smart! My dogs already knew sit, come, and down before I ever took a class. Matt has promised me a refund, but months have passed and no refund has been given. He has told me I was threatening him because I told him I felt obligated to write a review. He lied to me about what he told me on day one. He also had me sign paperwork that was not filled in at the bottom. He later used that paperwork against me after he filled it in to fit his narrative. I questioned his integrity which really upset him. But honestly, who would pay $1400.00 with little to no results?! My advice, and what I learned through this experience is, get everything in writing! Take pictures of everything you sign! Don’t trust blindly. And do more research. Had I asked around, I would have never gone to Matt for training. This is your sign to make a better choice for yourself, your dog, and your wallet! He doesn’t care about you or your dog. He only cares about the money!
I adopted a 2 year old dog from Aruba. They are highly intelligent and very observant. My Ellie was a challenge and I wasn't sure I did the right thing by saying yes, I'll take her. Howladay came to the rescue. They are a great group of people who know what they're doing. Once a week I went with Ellie for her Miss Manners training. Each time I pulled into the parking lot she became very excited and couldn't wait to get started with the next class. It was definitely the positive energy and we both felt it.
Our Boston Terrier, Lucy was boarded with Howl a Day for the last two weekends. She was great when we picked her up. A little tired but healthy and happy. We are happy to have Howl a Day available for day care or boarding when needed. They do a great job and take good care of pets in their care. Thank you.
Lynn and Matt are the kindest owners. I work and have four kids and really needed doggie daycare for my energetic puppy Millie. Once carefully checking her vaccines and an evaluation they determined she could join the other dogs, and she had a fantastic time. I can’t recommended this Diamond on the Cape enough to dog owners more highly. I wish there were 100 stars!
Matt and the trainers at Trainer K-9 are A+. They did an amazing job transforming our shy and skiddish dog, Willow, into a confident pup. Willow was so fearful of loud noises, people, dogs barking, and the general noises of living in the city. After 3 weeks of boarding school, she came back way more confident. Though she still gets fearful at times, we now know how to handle those instances and she is trusting us more. We’re now able to go on walks and to places we never could before! The best part is Willow is still her silly self, just smarter and less fearful. She continues to improve each day and we appreciate the follow up training sessions to keep us on target!
The team here is absolutely incredible, you can tell they run a well-oiled machine and take care of the dogs so we’ll. We boarded our 3 dogs last weekend and asked if they would be able to send us a few pictures and they were happy to oblige. Dogs came home pooped and happy. We’ll be using their services again during our next trip to Cape Cod 😄
Tried these folks recently for boarding. Place is clean, well run, etc. Rate is $100 a day for my 2 dogs to board. Dropped them Friday at 4PM, picked up 1155 AM Sunday. Received a quick lecture on making sure I am there by noon for pickup, which I was. Then told I owed another $65 on top of the $200 I already paid. Charge was for day care? Asked if they were there less than 48 hours, why the extra. Was told if I dropped at 8AM on Friday and picked up by 11AM Sunday (51 hours of their time) it would only be $200. Because I picked up after 11AM (44 hours of their time) I had to pay extra. That math doesn't add up.
Always comfortable leaving my small dog Murphy at the Holiday inn, they did not disappoint this time as well. They were there to greet him and very happy to see him, they led him away from me nicely and with his confidence in their ability to take care of him. I did not worry about his well-being while I was away for 4 days. Very happy to see him and well taken care of during his trip. I would recommend them wholeheartedly
Best place for your dog to be when they can't be with you. Hands down best care you can get for your furry family member.
We needed to board our dog for a week whilst we were on the Cape, and were so happy with Howladay Inn. Our dog loved it, got taken well care of and overall, had a super time.
We are visiting the Cape as we do every summer and needed to board Stella for three days. We visited Club Canine and did the meet and greet. Everyone was very friendly and so we left Stella and went off to be “kid” free and go places that dogs can’t go. Stella doesn’t really eat when we leave her at our regular place in Virginia and they never comment on this. I only know because her food bag looks the same. Well at Club Canine they want the dog to eat and so when a called to check on her they were concerned and asked if they could give her some chicken. They also gave her a very nice bath for a little itchiness. Can’t say enough about the caring attitude!!
Changes here from old to new owner have been absolutely amazing! They truly care about your pet here. The consistent upgrades to the facility and extras truly show how much your dog is loved and cared for. ❤️
we have 3 dogs and have been going here since our oldest was a puppy. Even with the change in ownership, the quality of pet care has never changed, it's excellent every single time. We had a baby and she unexpectedly came a week early and Deb and the crew were gracious and helped us set up immediate boarding for all 3 while we were in the hospital. I don't know what we'd do without them! There can't possibly be a better place to take your dogs.
They are very attentive to my pups needs. Great package deals. We love this place!
Been bringing my pup to Kota's for years now. I drive almost an hour out of my way to bring her here. Everyone is super responsive and takes good care of her. It's such a comfort knowing she's safe and happy.
We were in town for vacation and needed to board our three miniature Schnauzers for a few days. I arranged a Meet & Greet with Molly before we arrived and she was very prompt in returning my call, and she was friendly and efficient. She reached out to our vet and had the vaccination records in less than 24 hours. The pups enjoyed their stay and we were sent pictures/video of them...we could see they were happy and well cared for. We even received a report at pick up telling us how they did :). It is very evident how much Debby, Molly and the staff care about the dogs staying at Kota's Place!
Deb is horrible. She fired me because a dogs nail broke and she blamed it on me. Wayne (the previous owner) is a sweetheart and he gave me my w2. Deb was mean to me on the phone even though I was just calling for my W2 and she mentioned my review after I told her I was just calling to get my documents. I worked there for about four months and I wouldn’t want to let my own dogs stay here. If you want your dogs taken PROPERLY cared for then get someone to dog sit in your own house.
I started bringing my 4 month old mini aussie Finn to Kota's about 3 weeks ago. I had never used a dog daycare before so, needless to say, I was a little apprehensive but honestly this place is wonderful. Finn was always a little nervous and shy but since attending daycare at Kota's he is so much more confident and relaxed. It's so obvious that he has had really positive interactions with all the staff as he can't wait to see them and he's always a little sad to keave. I would recommend Kota's without hesitation to anyone. They have been wonderful with my guy.
We took our 8 month old puppy here for a month while visiting family on the Cape and she couldn't have loved it more. The staff is excellent and took the time to explain the entire process to us. You can tell the people working here love dogs. Our dog is very shy when first meeting new people and it was so heartwarming to see her warm up to everyone at Kota's Place. We really appreciated hearing how she was doing from staff and knowing she was in good hands! Thank you!
Kota’s Place is awesome! My Golden Retriever loves it there! The staff is so friendly and attentive! Debbie goes that extra mile for you and your pup! They have room to run, kiddie pools and can go inside if it is to hot. My dog goes in wagging his tail every time!
Cape Pups Playcare is a great place for your canine companion to hang their leash! The staff members are always friendly, caring and helpful. I have NEVER come away with ANY concerns while my dog, Rizzo, has been in their care. The staff conduct a thorough assessment/evaluation prior to enrollment, and dogs are organized in play areas accordingly. We live on Cape in Centerville and find the Cape Pups location very convenient, including drop off/pick up when we are traveling off Cape. I have used both daycare and overnight services and the prices are very reasonable based on some personal comparative research that I’ve done. We really like the am/pm half day option…also very convenient! Although I have not yet taken advantage of the ”spa menu,” they also offer basic grooming services. Cape Pups has both indoor and outdoor play spaces, a nice plus. My pup typically spends the night in a comfy crate, however, I have upgraded him to one of the suites recently. It’s nice to have options and, either way, he’s always a happy camper when we pick him up! I started taking Rizzo to Cape Pups in the spring of 2022, not long after they first opened for business. Over the past year, I have watched the clientele grow by leaps and bounds… and barks! And that may be the best testimonial of all! We highly recommend Cape Pups Playcare 🐾🐾
We love it here so much!!! The staff is amazing, the pick up/drop off flexibility is the best, and the prices are great. My dog Indy loves it here so much. He gets SO excited to get there and at pick up time I can’t get him to leave ! It has a beautiful and clean area and I love that they post pictures and videos unlike most daycares🥰 this daycare is a rare gem and I can’t recommend it more
Our puppy Mara LOVES going to Cape Pups. She is normally very well behaved until we pull up to the entrance where she loses her mind (and manners!). She absolutely can’t contain herself! She is not only excited to be with other dogs but she also loves the kind and caring staff. At the end of her stay we rarely make it out of the parking lot before she falls asleep. Can we give 10 stars?
Cape Pups Playcare is a great place to bring your pup!. The space is very clean and bright, and they are always welcoming and happy. Our dog is so excited when we drop her off and nice and tired when we pick her up! Ashley, Jamie and their staff are awesome!
Toys are really expensive for no reason .. places have the same ones in all stores but other than that love the family and the atmosphere inside . Their special made cookies are amazing too and not too pricey for how well decorated they are
Cape Pups Playcare is a great place to bring your dog to daycare. The staff is very kind, caring and I am always able to drop Dixie off without a problem! They have a great indoor and outdoor space for the dogs to go in and out as they please and in the summer, they even have a doggy pool and sprinkler for the dogs to enjoy! Dixie loves the attention that she gets throughout the day, not only from her new dog friends but also from the amazing staff here.
Cape pup playcare is awesome!!! Our dog Aidan absolutely loves loves loves heading over in the morning for his day camp and his overnights. Ashley and the staff are phenomenal and are always very accommodating. If we call on a moments notice they do their best to accommodate our last minute request for Aidan.. we could not be happier to have found such a wonderful place for our pup.
I could not be happier with Cape Pups Playcare. I have a small senior dog and a 'teenage' bigger dog. Both get the same attention and love from the staff who treat them like their own. The facilities are clean, staff is attentive, hours and location are great. Both my dogs look forward to going to daycare, which I cannot say was always the case at other places we have tried. Ashley and Jamie have created a safe, loving, playful environment for all the pups.
Cape Pups Playcare is a wonderful place for dog daycare or boarding! The owners and staff are thoughtful and kind. The facility is clean and well equipped. Our dog, Cruz, absolutely loves going there and comes home happy! We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a safe, clean and happy place for their dog to be cared for while away.
We are so HAPPY we found Cape Pups Playcare!!! We struggled to find any place with hours that worked for us, especially when we need to travel off Cape for sports. The hours and flexibility are amazing. We have been gone all day and were able to grab her at 7:30 pm on our way home. Winni never really enjoyed going to any doggie daycare and only after a few days and overnight stays at Cape Pups Playcare.....she LOVES it. When we walk in she goes right to the door to get in with her friends. When we pick her up, she is asleep within 3 minutes of leaving. Thank you, CPP for opening an amazing place with friendly workers and flexibility to meet so many needs!!
Wonderful experience! They took great care of my dog Lucy while I was on cape for a family vacation! Lucy was racing to get in on day two which shows how great they are! I felt safe and comfortable sending my dog and the photos and fun themes were a great bonus!! Thanks Paws Dream!
Love Paws Dream and Ellie does too! They provide a safe clean environment for her to play. She's typically snoring on the ride home :) Thank you to the whole team!
Excellent! The good folks at Paws Dream have taken great care of my pup for many years. She loves going there and I never worry about her when I drop her off. They are loving, professional and caring.
They were unfathomably rude to my partner after he made a reservation to have our dog housed over the 4th of July weekend. They took the name down last week and insisted our dog get a flu vaccine. So of course days later we went to the vet and got her the vaccine. The day before our reservation we called to confirm and they said there was no such appointment, they were completely booked, and hung up. When we finally got someone to pick up the phone for an explanation they hung up on him again. Who behaves like this? Next time start with an apology, figure out the discrepancy and try to fix the problem. Really unprofessional.
Awesome care if my furbaby!!
Went to bring my dog here for day care, the whole building reeked of dog pee, and when I asked if we could see where the dogs would be they said no. Not worth leaving my dog there when there's another doggy day care down the road that's cleaner and would let me see the place where my dog would be.
Friendly staff. My dogs love it here! Very helpful facility
Our pup loves this place and the people are awesome.
Grover loves all his friends at Paws Dream!
Excellent care for your dog
I have had a fantastic experience while boarding my cat here for three separate trips. It’s always hard to leave a pet behind while away but I have complete peace of mind. Lisa is such a lovely person and takes beautiful care of both her boarding cats and entire business. The space is immaculate and perfectly maintained. I received updates twice a day with careful attention to my cat’s eating and litter habits to make sure he was happy and healthy. I cannot even begin to express my gratitude to Lisa and her staff for their wonderful care. It means so much to know that my cat has such a great place to enjoy himself when I can’t be home with him 💕 If you are looking for somewhere to board your cat, I can highly and enthusiastically recommend Upper Cape Pet Services with zero hesitation
I have been with Upper Cape Pet for years and have always had nothing but amazing experiences. Most recently I have needed their service a great deal. I have been fortunate that I am able to meet my dog care specialist daily. Each and every person I have had the pleasure of meeting is kind, loving, timely, a great communicator and most importantly my dogs love when they pull up. They go over and above to ask if I, personally, need anything and make sure every little detail is taken care of before they depart. I am very fortunate to have Lisa and her crew in our lives to help out in times of need and also for the dogs pure enjoyment.!
First time customer likely turned permanent! Heather was fantastic with my doodle. We came in 10-15 minutes before his appointment so he could get accustomed to the area. Heather came right out in a couple minutes and greeted us. My dog was very excited/hyper (also anxious) - she met his energy with calm but playfulness and he warmed right up. NO grabbing by his collar to get him to settle, no yanking him or dragging him to the back. She was very receptive to his behavior and needs. I let Heather know what I’d like and she estimated 1.5 hours. He was done in a couple minutes past 1.5 hours; excellent estimation! My dog came out looking like my teddy bear. She said he did great & removed the dematting service I originally added because he was fine (I wasn’t sure if he’d need. Usually doesn’t but in case so they have the time.) The salon is open and quite clean; not overcrowded with numerous dogs at once. They have a sort of gated area like mini stalls for pups - I did not see any kennels/cages. It was $90 (without tip) for his mini groom, which was exactly what he needed. I live about 45 minutes away but am definitely coming back to see Heather!! I ended up booking his next 2 grooms before I left. Thank you for a great experience.
Upper Cape did a great job on my Chow Chow, one of the most difficult breeds. My Buddy is a senior. They were most careful about his aging issues - warts and hip problems. I was very pleased, I’ve already booked his next appointment. I also felt the pricing was quite reasonable and good smelling cologne! I would highly recommend. And look who went back to Upper Cape Pet Services and even handsomer than ever!
I brought my beagle mix in for a bath and nail clipping. I dropped my dog off at the 12:00 appointment time. I returned an hour and a half later and they hadn’t started and would text me when done. I said okay, no problem. 35 minutes later I received a text that she was finished. I arrived to pick up my dog and Crystal handed me the dog’s leash now in 3 separate pieces. She said “Your leash broke,” and handed it back to me. It’s a thick cloth leash that was in perfect condition. Apparently she was crated for the hour and a half they were running behind. No one mentioned a crate as I would have told them she is extremely crate phobic. She suffered for an hour and a half having a panic attack and chewing through the heavy leash. I keep reading about how deeply my dog’s well being is your first priority. Unfortunately that was not my dog’s experience. Crystal didn’t apologize for the 90 minute delay, or the crate, or the leash. Our dog did smell good at least. I’m hoping my review will be taken as a learning experience for the future. Perhaps let the client know if you’re running late and take some responsibility for excessive crate time and destroyed leash. It would have made all the difference and I would even have brought my pup back for another try.
I highly recommend Upper Cape Pet Sitting! Lisa and her team are so wonderful I feel like they love my dog as much as I do! It has taken me about 1.5 years to find a good pet sitter on cape cod and I am so glad I found them! They send a report after every visit with details and lots of pictures. When they are watching my dog I know I can totally relax. I also recently starting using their grooming services and they are superb. I have received soooo many compliments on the way he looked after. I have not had much luck with groomers in the past and I am thrilled to have one that makes my dog look just the way I want him to! I can’t say enough good things about this business. Even the app they use to schedule/pay/communicate is very user friendly. :)
Amazing amazing amazing! I have a 100lb dog with so much hair and these ladies always do such an amazing job with her. Macie had some anxiety after getting spayed and UCPS took such great care of her, she’s totally comfortable now! I have seen Vanessa, Amirah and Crystal and they are all so talented. I highly recommend to anyone especially if they have a large breed.
we absolutely love Vanessa. She is incredible with the dogs and the dogs. Love her.❤️
Great place! Took my cat here for a grooming - he’s pretty feisty and refuses to get brushed. Booking was super easy, convenient text follow ups. They did a great job making my cat comfortable and he looks fabulous now! Clean, newly remodeled space, very friendly and caring staff. Their cat hotel looks luxurious. Thank you!!!
We have used UCPS several times and couldn't be happier with them. We have 3 dogs and 2 cats, some of whom need medication. Care has been flawless. And the reports and pictures are very reassuring. Highly recommend!!
Dawn is beyond amazing! Our fur babies ( 2 dogs and 2 cats) loved her immediately. She took such good care of all of them in our home while my husband and I were away. She constantly kept us updated and sent pictures. We felt so at ease with Dawn. She really got to know all of them before she sat for us and treates them as of they were her own. Thank you again Dawn for being so wonderful to our kids❤️
Dawn, from Shore Pet Care, did an absolutely wonderful job with our pets! They love her and it was so comforting to get daily pictures and updates. There's no question our animals are better off staying at home with a loving and responsible sitter than going to a kennel. Dawn also took great care of our house. We couldn't be happier with her services.
Dawn and her dog sitting services are the best! She takes incredibly good care of my 2 Boston Terriers, Rosie & Jackie. I have complete confidence in her ability to handle all situations while I’m away. She is able to help out when I have last minute changes in my plans either staying longer with my dogs or returning later to check in on them. Most importantly she has a true love of dogs and it shows!
My dog Peach has really bad separation anxiety, which makes it difficult to find a good petsitter! Dawn is the only one, other than my parents, that I can trust my pup with; She will do whatever Peach needs to feel comfortable which sometimes includes lots of talking to know she is not alone, sitting on the floor with her and lots of snuggles!
Dawn took care of our two very active dogs for a week in our home when we were on vacation. She and her team did a wonderful job. I think the house may have been cleaner than when we left, and the pups were perfectly happy and safe! I highly recommend her.
She was great with my cats while I was away. I recommend her to others who are looking for pet sitters
Since day Miranda has been fantastic with my mini yorki! Coco loves his hikes and walks and has made many friends! Miranda always sends me pictures and reports on coco making me feel comfortable while coco is out having fun!
Miranda gives the best care and attention to our pup Finn. He is always so excited to see her. Whether we are traveling for a week or more or just an afternoon, we know Finn is getting the best care possible. Miranda communicates well and is extremely professional in running her business. Miranda is a true gem here on Cape Cod for all pet sitting needs.
Our dogs love spending time with Miranda. She has watched them for us for weekend trips and long vacations over the past year. I know the dogs have as much fun as we do when we travel. They get to hang with Miranda and make doggie friends. They enjoy the nice long walks. Last time we dropped off our big guy, Koda, he was so excited he went running to jump into Miranda’s truck!! Our little dog is usually shy and timid, but with Miranda she is more confident and comfortable. We really appreciate how unique it is to find a person who seems to just have a way with dogs. They enjoy and respect Miranda. We never worry when our dogs are in her care. We are very grateful to have found someone as professional and reliable as Miranda. Thank you for providing exceptional care for our pups!!
We have using Miranda dog walking services for 2 years now and can not say enough good things about her and the way she handles our dog. He is a German Wiredhair pointer with boundless energy and always comes home after a full day with her tired and happy. The way she can handle a pack of dogs on a trail is exceptional , of all sizes and breeds, they all follow her lead. We just LOVE her❤️
We would be absolutely lost without Miranda and have been using her for over 2 years. Our 5 year old rescue husky, Mina, comes with sensitivities and is a flight risk. She also has “stranger danger” but loves Miranda and Glacier (Michael too). We live full time in Brookline but do not hesitate to drive to the Cape to drop Mina for boarding knowing it will be a smooth and worry free process. Mina also loves going to day camp and comes home happy and exhausted. Self admittedly, I am an uptight “dog-mom” and I trust Miranda wholeheartedly. Highly recommend.
Miranda is a fantastic person who loves all animals. She will treat your pet as her own. She is caring, thoughtful and reliable. I highly recommend.
We've been using Miranda's Pet Sitting services for almost 10 years now and she is simply the best. She gives our dogs a tremendous amount of exercise and returns them happy and tired at the end of the day. We also really appreciate how she takes the time to get to know and understand each dog's personality and even helped us with some of training issues we were struggling with early on. Lastly, we really appreciate how reliable and organized Miranda is. When she says she'll be there, it's a guarantee she'll be there. It's a huge comfort knowing Lily and Ocho, whom we adore, are in such capable and caring hands when we're not around.
We had an excellent experience with Miranda's Pet Sitting when we visited Brewster MA for a week in August. Our 2-yr-old beagle mix had the time of her life with regular exercise and the company of other dogs. We were able to relax knowing that Miranda emphasizes safety and is amazingly knowledgeable and caring. Lucy even made some progress with walking more peacefully on a loose leash. We will definitely visit again and recommend to friends. Thanks Miranda!
Fabulous pet sitter! Our dog took to her right away! Flexible with pick-up/drop-off; delivered our Gracie to our door. Sent us a picture of a very happy doggy mid-day. Gracie arrived back tired out from walking and romping, and in a great mood. Highly recommended.
We were lucky enough to connect with Miranda for the past two summers. Our dog, Doc is the absolute happiest to meet up with her! And, after spending the day with her hiking and getting incredible exercise and attention, he gets home and flops on the rug. His boundless energy and need for exercise is truly met during his days with Miranda. Doc’s time with Miranda is really some of his most wonderful. I can’t recommend Miranda, her love of dogs or her services enough!
