Loyal, trustworthy, independent gal. Loves animals. Local to OC, able to travel.
Kari was absolutely fantastic! Her communication was top-notch throughout, always keeping me updated and reassured. When I returned, my house was spotless, a testament to her attention to detail. It's clear she loves pets, and my pets adored her in return. She went above and beyond in every way, making sure they were not only well cared for but also happy. I will definitely have her back in the future. Highly recommend!"

Reliable & experienced. Will care for your pet and home with love and respect.
this is the second time I entrusted Georgia with the care of my two cats, Tagger and JoeBob. It was almost two months and she regularly sent updates and news from home. I love how responsive and attentive she was to the cats. They already miss her.

I had a last minute trip come up, and was relieved Valerie was able to take care of my kitties in a pinch. I liked her immediately upon meeting her, and felt her great energy would be a perfect match for my shy kitties. As far as I could tell, Valerie took good care of the kitties while I was away. The communication was just okay. She eventually replied to my messages about this and that, but didn't really initiate or share little updates or photos of the kitties and how it was going unless I reached out first. When I came home, I discovered that an item of mine was missing and asked her if she had seen it anywhere, thinking I must have misplaced it before I left. She acknowledged she had taken it, but didn't actually apologize, incredibly, and then it was a real struggle to try to get it back or at least have her send a replacement. After much persistence and pursuit on my part and quite the runaround on her part, she eventually replaced it, but I was a bit taken aback by her blasé attitude about taking it in the first place and then casual avoidance to resolving the situation. All very surprising, and an unfortunate disheartening footnote to the petsit. All that being said, she left my house very clean and tidy, and the kitties seemed very calm and content when I returned.

Jewels was a wonderful housesitter. She looked after our dogs and pony superbly. She paid attention to detail and their welfare and they were all happy in her cares she also looked after our vegetable beds and pots and left the house looking great. Thank you Jewels.

Melanie was honestly amazing! She’s so kind and reliable, she gave me regular updates about maple, was very self-sufficient and not only did she keep my place super tidy, she washed my bedsheets before I arrived back from my vacation! I would definitely have her pet sit again

Midwestern Gal in LA LA Land
Natasha is an excellent dog sitter. We met her before going on our trip, and she took note of everything! She was super independent while staying at our house and sent us lots of daily pictures of our dog. It was clear they got along very well, and she was very dedicated to his walks and care. She also watered the plants. When we came home, the house was very clean. Thank you, Natasha, you're a professional! We hope you'll take care of Tego again in the future.
Toby and Chloe were amazing pet sitters. It wasn’t the easiest sit - a nervous dog and 3 cats with various ailments and medication to have, but they took it all in their stride and cared for them so well without any issues. Our nervous dog Zelda warmed to them in just 2 days which is a record for house sitters so far! I also really enjoyed getting to know them over dinner the night before I left, they’re very easygoing and positive people. They also left the house spotless for when I came back. I would love to have them sit for us again. You can rest assured your house and animals are in safe hands with this lovely pair!
I was fortunate to have Hillary return for a second sit. She took excellent care of both my cat and my home. She got on well with my neighbors and even allowed my friend to come visit Suley while she was there. I especially appreciate how flexible and accommodating she was regarding arrangements for a sitter who would be taking over for the second part of my very long absence. All in all, Hillary is a gem!
We were so pleased to meet John and Trisha! We had them come in a day before we left and enjoyed a nice meal with them and they got to meet Delilah (even if she didn’t seem interested) but she soon warmed up to them - except for the Cat Videos - she wasn’t very interested 🤣 When we returned our home was so clean (probably cleaner than we left it)! We got frequent pics and updates on our Princess! They also left us with a Progress Report with Delilah’s activities and what they did at the house before they left. We would highly recommend John & Trisha if you are lucky enough to have them apply for a House Sitters job! Bill, Kathy & Delilah 🐈⬛❤️
Elisabeth was an excellent sitter for our cat. We were away for two weeks and received daily photos and notes from her about Catman's activities (i.e., sleeping and eating). She is definitely a cat lover and that was evident from our cat's calm behavior when we returned.
Wow, what a find Justin is! I feel as though I won a lottery. As I was revelling in the communication we were having during his stay, I looked over his profile and realized either that he had updated it during his stay OR I never even read it. I was so impressed with his initial application that described multiple stays taking care of cats in Turkey that I knew he was going to be a great choice. So I'm not sure that I even read his profile or reviews. Turned out...he was more than I could have EVER hoped for. Justin is VERY organized and clear with his communication. Just as--or maybe more--important, he is a poster child for what zeewoi can be: more than just an economical way to get a pet sitter or a place to stay. Justin embraces the barter economy and the opportunity it presents to get to know people. Although we only met the day that I turned the house and my 2 cats over to his care, we had delightful communication throughout his stay. He wanted to be sure he was providing the right care to all living and non-living elements of my home as well as just chat beyond what we'd had an opportunity to cover when we were face to face on the handoff day. Bottom line: I'd have Justin back even if I wasn't going anywhere! I've met a friend. And my neighbors did as well! Oh yes, and my two cats were well looked after, the house was in ship shape, and Justin was able to brief the next sitter in person (I'd had to extend my time away and Justin already had another commitment). To say I felt confident leaving my pets and home in Justin's care is an understatement. Justin is a real adventurer and believer in the power of both human and animal connection. Without a doubt, I would recommend him as a sitter...and a friend! Thank you, Justin for a great example of how to wrestle so much more meaning out of zeewoi.
We knew that we would have a good experience with Carole & Ron from the moment we first had a video chat with them. They are very experienced house sitters and it showed in the questions they asked about our cats and our home. We were so fascinated by them that we invited them to arrive a day early so that we could all go out for lunch and then dinner to hear about their travel stories and share a few of our own. When we left, we felt very confident in our choice and took off on our trip with confidence that our dear kitties would be well cared for. We were not disappointed as Carole & Ron sent us photos and an update the very next day to let us know that all was well. During the next two weeks, we never had a moment of concern and fully enjoyed our vacation knowing that these seasoned sitters were both looking after our place and also enjoying themselves exploring our wonderful city of Philadelphia. We came home to two very happy cats, a clean house, and even a full bowl of fresh fruit on our kitchen counter. We would absolutely have Carole & Ron sit for us again and we wish them the very best of fun and exploration in their future adventures!
Toby and Chloe were one of the best house sitters we have ever had! As a small animal vet I have seen many types of pet sitters and these guys are top notch. Our pets are not easy either. We have special needs dogs, cats on medication, dogs with behavioral issues, horses, chickens, goats and a large (100 lb) Sulcata tortoise who needed close monitoring of the temperature in his barn. Everyone was thriving and happy when we came home. They read through the packet and asked thorough, thoughtful questions. They went above and beyond grooming, mucking and grazing the horses and goats everyday. They chopped greens and fruit daily for our tortoise. If we had known how amazing they were we would have booked a 3 week trip instead! Can't recommend them enough.
Caroline is an amazing sitter ! We were far away, had never left our cat for such a long period of time and we felt really confident with her. She took great care of our cat Honey as well as she did for the house, pool and garden. She was even able to handle the end of the refection of the bathroom which was a last minute surprise… We felt Caroline was reliable and self sufficient. We had a great communication with her during our stay abroad. We even found many nice intentions when we came back from our vacations such as fresh fruits and bakeries for a nice and welcomed breakfast after a night in a plane ! We definitely recommend Caroline for your sittings and we will obviously call her back !
Jinnie was an excellent house sitter for me and my cat Felix. Completely responsible and reliable and helpfully flexible. She was willing to work with me as I dithered on whether I was actually going to go on my trip (which was dependent on good weather), and when I finally decided on making my trip one day shorter. House was clean and organized on my return, and, more importantly, my cat was calm and relaxed on my return. I would happily have Jinnie come sit for me and Felix again.
Is it better to board cats or leave at home?
Veterinarians advising to leave cats at home with a pet sitter who will stay overnight in your home, boarding is not recommended for cats as they are stressed in a new environment, you can find a sitter who will care for your cats and home for free at Zeewoi.
How much should you pay someone to watch your cat?
At least $20 per visit, per overnight watching in your home, otherwise you can find a free sitter at Zeewoi.
What do people do with their cats when they go on vacation?
Inviting a cat sitter to your home, boarding the cat with a local business, asking a friend, family or neighbour to feed and check the well-being. The most efficient way to leave your cat during your vacation is with Zeewoi cat sitters for free, in this way, you will save cat sitting costs and make vacation not only for you but also for your cat sitter!
When choosing a daycare and boarding for my fur baby, it was important to me that the staff were caring, the facility was safe and clean, and that my dog would have the opportunity to participate in meaningful interaction with other friendly dogs. Southpark has exceeded my expectations. I'm very pleased. I have no hesitations entrusting my baby with them while I travel later this month. ...and I LOVE that I can check in on him via live-cam at any time....AND get adorable videos and still shots of him playing with his buddies. Thank you, Southpark!!
I will be honest, I was a little wary to put my little man in his old playcare because some yelp reviews of new management weren’t the greatest. I am so glad I went with my mom gut and not reviews this time - they were spectacular! I didn’t have to ask for updates, they updated me once per day during his four day stay with a report card, meal log, and pictures/videos! They were so sweet to my boy and I could tell he had a great time! There’s no other dog care center I have ever trusted my boy to than this center!
I can’t say enough good things about this daycare! We send our boy Reggie here for daycare and boarding and have been so amazed by how loving and conscientious they are. We get daily updates without fail, and see clearly just how much love our puppy gets. It’s been a life saver to have this resource with a high energy dog that also has separation anxiety when left at home alone. We love that we can watch him on camera and that he gets extra training for mental and physical stimulation. Reggie comes home happy, tired, and very well behaved - a big plus considering what can happen at other poorly managed daycares. The staff are all professional, friendly, and helpful. I don’t know what we would be done without this place for the last year! My only wish is that they’d have later hours on weekends, but that won’t change my review - just a hope!
My Dog loves going to South Park Doggie. She gets so excited when I tell her if she wants to go play with her friends :) As we are pulling in, she can't get a hold of herself and when I pick her up, she is tired after running and playing around most of the day. Everyone that I meet at South Park Doggie have been very helpful, polite and always have answer my many questions :). Thank you all!
My dog loves it here and the staff sends cute updates with photos and info on how much she ate. The cameras are fun to use, too.
My dog loves coming to South Park! The staff is always friendly. The hours are great and the rates are super fair. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a daycare for their pet.
I love that they know my dog’s name when we walk in the door, and they always take pictures of the dogs that are so cute. I love that they have a video camera and I can watch all the small dogs playing during the day. My dog is well cared for when he is there!
The absolute best—we’ve been bringing our dog to DWLAX for years at this point. Liz, Erica, Bianca, Logan, and the rest of the staff have that mix of kindness and professionalism that puts your mind at ease that you’re leaving your pup in safe hands. Super easy online booking process, too.
My dog, Hugh Jackman, loves Waterland. We call it his school, cause he is learning new things and just being a good dog. The crew there is always attentive to any needs or concerns I have. He hates to leave when it is time to go, and is always tired which is a good thing for me.
Love this place! Our dog Mika loves the staff so much especially Nephi and Jailene! They give her so much love when she does board and care with them. Lots of cuddles, playtime, exercise and fun! I highly recommend this dog board and care and its even better they are super close to LAX!!
Glen's Dog Inn has been caring for my dog Shadow for 5 years now. Four of those years I traveled extensively for work, and this was the perfect place for my energetic, and sometimes challenging Border collie/Shepard mix. She gets to play in the big dog pack and be a real dog there! Glen has so much experience with training and caring for dogs and has given me great advice over the years when it comes to training, and diet. Armando is one of Shadow's favorite people. She can sometimes be untrusting with men, but he became her BFF right away. When I leave Shadow at Glen's, I trust that she is being well cared for and having a great time. The pricing is also probably the most reasonable out of all of the dog boarding places in L.A.
We have been boarding our dogs at Glen’s since 2020 and never want to go anywhere else! Glen and Armando are the best and show so much care for Honey (Labrador) and Beef (German shepherd). Our dogs are both super high energy and we appreciate how much time they get to play outside when they’re with Glen. If you board with them, your dogs will be in very good hands!
We’ve been boarding Ally with Glen for over 6 years. A good sign that she enjoys her stays is that she leaps up the entry stairs when we arrive. Happy dog in / happy dog out. Armando and Glen are very attentive and I’m so grateful to have found them.
My dog Pancho is so happy here. He is a rescue that required a lot of training around anxiety. We tried multiple places on the westside, near to where I live, but he would not do well in big crowded places. Glen and Armando were amazing, we started with a few hours of daycare, and now this place is my go-to when I travel. Pancho loves it here, and even made a bunch of new friends. And I have peace of mind knowing that he is in the best hands.
I've been leaving my dog with Glen for the last 2-3 years, as it is very convenient when traveling (close to LAX), and the hours of operation are very accommodating. They are very flexible and from a cost perspective, I don't know if they can beat. My dog is always excited to go, and I have peace of mind when I go on trips
I've been boarding my dog at Glen's for years and he gets so excited to go there every time. I always know he's in good hands with Glen and Armando. They are the best! Couldn't recommend enough.
Glen and Armando are wonderful. My dogs enjoy the inn, and I don’t have to worry about them while I’m away. Thank you for always taking good care of my dogs! Edit: I just saw a negative review about someone’s dogs being hungry and dirty after picking them up. I’m baffled by what some expect from dog boarding. Dogs are hungry and dirty? Yes, please! Of course they’re hungry and dirty from playing outside, burning a ton of calories and energy. I love Glen’s Dog Inn just for that reason. Better than being stuck in a kennel or indoors all day.
We have been boarding our dod with Glen and Armando for years and have never once had an issue, despite our dog needing some extra attention. She loves going there, hates coming home. They are super easy to work with and conveniently located. Highly recommend!
Our dog LOVES Glen’s. When I tell him that he’s going to Glen’s he jumps around in circles and herds me out the door. I think he would drive the car if he had his way because he whines like we are going to his favorite park and basically pulls me through the gates to get inside. I even get a little jealous that he’s so happy leaving us, but he’s also happy to see us when we come back to get him, so I know it’s a good sign. He’s a high-energy rescue, so it’s amazing to see how happy and comfortable he is at Glen’s. The team there knows how to handle him, and I can tell that he plays hard when he’s there. Not only is he pooped his first 24 hours back home, but when we get to the park he seems very accustomed to having all humans at his beck and call to throw balls and play with him. Not only does our dog have a great time at Glen’s, we appreciate that Glen has been there for us to take care of him through holidays and big events and we so appreciate his and his team’s communication and flexibility.
I have been bringing my Shepherd here for about 6-7 years, and Armando & Glen are always terrific. They take great care of my boy. They are always reliable, observant & always have my boys best interest in mind. Great people & I’m so glad I found them.
My pup Louie and I love Doggie Goddess! We have been going to the amazing women of Doggie Goddess for about a year now. Not only does Louie spend two days a week there, but he has boarded with them a few times as well. Each member of the staff is so kind, and I can tell they love my dog as if he’s their own. Regardless of the location, Louie comes home each day exhausted (in the best way) from playing and socializing with his pack! It’s incredibly special to find a business in which you can trust the staff to watch over an animal you love, especially one that is cage-free. Thank you to all the women who care for my pup while I’m unable to do so - you are such a huge and great part of Lou’s life!
Doggie Goddess is our dogs home away from home. They treat our mini schnauzer like family. Additionally they are extremely professional and go above and beyond. The facility is extremely clean and our dog has never come home sick after her visits at Doggie Goddess. Traci and her team are amazing. Definitely should recommended 10/10
Can’t say enough. My pup is always happy to see his pup friends and staff at doggie goddess. Everyone is so genuine and enthusiastic about spending time with all the dogs. This place is 10/10. By far the best daycare I have found in LA as they take care of my little drama queen as if he was their own.
My dogs have been going to Doggie Goddess for 10 years. If I could give Doggie Goddess more than 5 stars I would. Traci and her team are amazing. The dogs are always supervised, there is a very balanced pack mentality so the dogs get to have a great time but safety and balance is always happening as well. Traci and her team know all of the dogs, their personalities , quirks and what makes them happy. My dogs can't wait to go there and their sleepovers are the best. There is someone who sleeps with the dogs( which I love). If you are looking for a safe, fun place for daycare and/or boarding, I highly recommend Doggie Goddess.
We love doggie goddess and we won’t take our pup anywhere else. The level of care, love, and attentiveness Traci and her team give my pup is so apparent. My pup is always so tired after a day at doggie goddess because they play and enrich him!! We cannot recommend DG enough and always recommend them to our friends!
I truly would trust Traci and her team with my pup daisys life! They are the absolute best and Daisy loves them with her whole heart. They take the best care of all their pups and love them all like their own
The amazing team of beautiful souls at this business are always sweet and fun; they go above and beyond to have a great time with all the pups. Couldn't recommend their services more. The hours are great. Their rates are worth it. And their location is pretty central from the Westside to mid City.
We love the folks over at Doggie Goddess! Our pup enjoys his time there, and they are super active on socials - which means lots of pics throughout his stay!
I forgot about this place until I get an email from them, so let me warn future pet owners: The worker, Yadira, is a case in unhinged behavior. When I went to pick up my dog, I heard someone angrily yelling at the dogs to be quiet. This worried me so I started filming. From the moment this worker greeted me and opened the door, she had a nasty attitude, was rude, would not listen to my questions, and basically acted like an angry immature high schooler. I had to use de-escalation skills and try to reason with her. Luckily, she didn't see the camera, so I was able to record her behavior without her putting on a mask. She would not let my dog out for almost 4 minutes after I went to pick him up. While my pup whined to come out, she angrily told me that he had tried to snap at her AFTER SHE PULLED HIM BY THE COLLAR. When I asked her why she did this, because I've heard you never do that with a dog you don't own, she proceeded to give me more attitude, giving pseudo-explanations that made no sense. She even lied telling me she's told my husband about my dog having issues (My dog has never had issues at any other day care). When I asked my husband about this, he said he had no idea what she was talking about. She probably had the wrong dog in her deluded mind. I got a call from the owner that day to complain about me. After seeing the video however, the owner did apologize to us and told us Yadira just had a bad day. Unfortunately, I don't want to leave my pup with humans who act psychotic when they have a "bad day." That said, we decided never to bring out pup there where a crazy lady with rage issues will yell at the dogs and pull them by the collar whenever she wants just because that's probably the only time in her day she gets to feel some sort of power.
We’ve tried several L.A. area dog daycare and boarding centers for my high energy, XL girl and BY FAR, HANDS DOWN, we are happiest with Doggie Goddess. The owner and her staff obviously really love and understand all dogs. I feel most relaxed and assured that my baby is in good hands when I drop her here! No time outs or cages, just redirection, when needed! True Pros!
I contacted Kennel Club LAX to bring my dog to the US from a high-risk country. Dylan was very helpful, promptly answering my emails and verifying all the documents before my flight. He also provided detailed instructions for when I landed. Brady picked up my dog on time and sent me updates and pictures, showing that my dog had food, water, and a comfortable spot to stay. Despite my initial worries about leaving my dog overnight, she was happy, not stressed, and very clean when I picked her up in the morning. The staff was friendly, provided updates about my dog's stay, returned her belongings clean, and gave me a new rabies certificate. They also encouraged me to contact them if I needed any further assistance. I was concerned about the process and the overnight stay, but Kennel Club LAX made it a great experience. I couldn't be more satisfied with their service.
Kennel Club LAX is top notch. I never worry when I leave my 2 Dobermans here. They love it and the staff. I recently left them for 7 days and when I picked them up yesterday they were both whining to stay.... That's when you know they are loved! Thank you KCLAX!!!
I have been bringing my 2 pups, Foxy and Onyx, to Kennel Club LAX for about 5 years. And they love it. Last year I’ve started bringing my 19 year old blind and deaf senior kitty, Squishy, since I can no longer leave her home alone for long periods of time. I’m very comfortable leaving her with such a remarkable staff at Kennel Club LAX. The other day I took her for boarding, had the pups in the car because they were going on a short road trip with us, and they got very excited to see us arrive at Kennel Club LAX(as they always do). But looked so disappointed that they didn’t get to stay. That says everything to me. The staff there go above and beyond to take care of our loved furry family members! I highly recommend Kennel Club LAX!
After searching for and touring various kennels around LA to leave our dog for the first time, we settled on the Kennel Club because of their VIP offering. I was glad that Franklin, my frenchie, was able to hang out for a few days without being confined to a kennel. He typically has a dog sitter so I was hesitant to leave him somewhere new. The staff was very friendly and helped ease my nerves! They followed each instruction I left about his food allergies and wrinkle cleaning routine. LAX Kennel Club even sent me photos of Franklin throughout the weekend to let me know how he was doing. By day 2 I could see that Franklin was getting so much love and attention! In addition to the great service, the facility was able to accommodate a late drop off for us when our flight got changed at the last minute. We would absolutely leave Franklin there again! Thank you again for taking great care of our baby!
Our fur-kids Mochi and Sumo were transferred to Kennel Club LAX after their trip from Amsterdam. The trip was long and receipt documentation went much quicker than expected - certainly quicker than baggage claim and rental car collection. They were well cared for and pampered for their short stay. And, in the end, due to all of the confusion that led the kids there, Kennel Club LAX released them with no charges incurred. Thank you for helping out!!
Nothing but praise for Kennel Club LAX, Never need to worry when boarding Kona there when we travel to Europe for a few weeks each year, knowing that she is getting the best care and attention.
I worked with a pet transporter to get my puppies to Ireland. They stayed overnight at Kennel Club LAX, when the flight was missed by transporter, the pups boarded another night and then due to flight cancelation, they flew back home! I got photos of the pups the first night in the kennel, and that calmed my heart. We will attempt one for flight, and I am comfortable with the pups' handling and care at this kennel. Elaine spoke with me today, we have details worked out with special food and blankets. Thank you to the staff at KCLAX in advance!
My pup loves this place! I have been taking my dog here for years for both day care and boarding. He is always thrilled to go in and I always have to drag him away when I pick him up. The staff is super friendly and professional and they truly care about the animals they board!
The staff here are really friendly and you can tell they love animals. They do take care of the cats, though for the play area I came and put my cats inside each day. In saying so, my cats were really stressed out from the flight, and maybe wouldn't have allowed others to handle them. Otherwise they seem calmer and happier now. So yes, I do recommend Kennel Club for a few days if you are away.
This place is amazing and I never have to worry about my pup with them! They are meticulous, the staff is extremely pleasant, caring and communicative, and my pup always seems happy here! They provide an excellent service every time - I board my dog for overnight stays frequently with them when I travel and they always make a point to check in with me every now and then to let me know how he’s doing if its a long stay, and are always responsive to my texts or calls looking if I have a request while away. Not once have I been disappointed with their services. It looks like their staff are truly animal lovers and genuinely care for your pet’s wellbeing. Cant recommend this place enough!
I have two large huskies who are very attached to me + my boyfriend, so traveling has always been tricky when leaving them behind. We discovered Spoiled Pooch from a friend of ours and it changed the game. Our dogs had the best vacation ever at ANGEL Jessica's house with her wonderful family. We received daily updates with photos and adorable anecdotes. We felt so connected to them and so happy that they were having a fun adventure while we went on our trip. Jessica treated our babies with so much care and love! We feel so grateful to have found this service and will be using Spoiled Pooch for all upcoming travel. Highly recommend.
Spoiled Pooch is the best dog walking and sitting company ever! Beau is a literal dog whisperer. He was able to bring our reactive dog along on group walks without incident and took amazing care of both our pit mix and husky when we needed him either just for an afternoon visit or for when we were traveling. I recently moved out of state and I’m so sad to not have spoiled pooch anymore. We trusted them completely with our pups because we knew they were treated like family. I also appreciated their super easily online booking portal. 10/10 best on the west side!
Justine at Spoiled Pooch is the BEST! Our one year old puppy, Quimby, watches out the window for her arrival everyday. She and Quimby have such a special connection (although I suspect she has a special connection with all the doggos!) Justine has become an invaluable member of our household. She is prompt, reliable, and thoughtful. I look forward to the adorable pictures she sends after each walk - she should add pet photographer to her resume! We feel so lucky she is a part of our lives.
I literally cannot say enough good things about Spoiled Pooch and, Ana, specifically. I have a senior pitbull who is quite stubborn and insanely attached to me. I have not traveled with my boyfriend for years as we couldn't find anyone we trusted enough to watch her. Our friends recommended Spoiled Pooch and it has been a lifesaver. Ana is so patient and kind with my dog who doesn't warm up to everyone but her reaction to Ana makes it clear that she adores her. I honestly can't say enough positive things about Ana and the Spoiled Pooch process. The owner, Jeanetta, is so helpful and responsive. The app makes scheduling, payment and getting updates on your dog's day so easy. I am so grateful for them and I recommend them to everyone I meet with a dog because I feel so strongly about how terrific and trustworthy they are. It is such a relief to know that she is safe and happy while we are gone.
We have had the best experience with Spoiled Pooch. Specifically, Marion - he is the best and loves our dog so much. I have never been able to trust someone with my rescue dog who has a lot of anxiety and leash issues. Marion is the absolute best and I know she’s safe and happy when she’s with him.
Spoiled Pooch is seriously a godsend. They love our dog so much and take amazing care of him and have even helped him become better at walking on the leash without pulling. He is SO excited to see them when they come to pick him up and it makes us feel so at ease to be able to fully trust a group of people with him. I cannot recommend them enough and if you need doggy daycare / walking / sitting this is the best option by a landslide. We're so grateful for all their love for Doug and support for us when we have hectic work weeks or go out of town.
Spoiled Pooch is AMAZING. They pick up my dog (Millie) twice a week for 4 hours so she can get out of the apartment because I work from home and don't have time to tire her out. This is a picture that Maddie (Our Spoiled Pooch rep) sent to us the other day. Our dog was bad at interacting with other dogs and now, after 3 weeks, we have seen drastic improvement with her sociability. Would recommend to anyone who needs help with pup-care.
This is a long overdue review. We worked with Spoiled Pooch for two years until we moved out of their service area. I was extremely stressed about finding a dog walker for my anxious, shy, stubborn, dog-reactive rescue. I researched lots of companies/walkers. Thankfully, we found Jeanetta and Spoiled Pooch. They provided consistent, reliable dog walking and occasional overnight in-home care for 2 years. Bianca was our dog’s first walker, and she was very patient with letting our dog come out of her shell. We worked with multiple walkers, Austin, Channen, Brenna, and Jeanetta herself, over the years, and all were great. The communication with Jeanetta and her team was always clear and easy. We never had trouble getting care if we had a one-off request or our regular walker was unavailable, and overall, the team was easy to work with! Many thanks to Spoiled Pooch forshowing our dog such kindness and for peace of mind that our pup was in good hands!
Beau at Spoiled Pooch has been a true gift to our family. We found him to walk our puppy, thinking our older dogs were too old and grumpy to make any new friends, and within a couple days he had won over the whole pack. Beau is kind, gentle, and genuinely loves the dogs he spends time with. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a little help with their dogs… He is real professional with a heart of gold!
Spoiled Pooch has been an amazing service for my German shepherd! Jeanetta is so great with communication and the way she has the app set up makes it really easy to book sittings. All of the walkers and sitters we’ve worked with on her team have been fabulous with our dog as well!
Scheduling with Ariana was easy. I met the pet sitter, Michelle, in advance and she is awesome! She sent texts every morning and evening with photos of my dogs. She even washed the bed sheets the day I was returning!! Truly above and beyond and just a great person!
As a single professional and mom to a 200 pound English Mastiff, the most important person in my life is my dog's caregiver. For 5 days a week, this is someone I must trust with access to my home and with the health and wellbeing of my dog. If you're looking for that same 'someone,' I highly recommend Ariana of Playa Paws. Forgive the lengthy review...hope this is helpful. I randomly met Ariana at Bluff Creek Dog Park in Playa Vista and observed her taking care of 'her' dog who was happily playing with mine. We struck up a conversation and, after telling her I was new to California, asked if she could recommend a dog walker. As it turned out, 'her' dog was a client's pup and I realized I'd struck gold. How often do you get to see how someone will treat YOUR dog when you're not there? I hired her on the spot. Ariana has been taking care of Betty Rose for a month and I highly recommend her. Business Basics: Reliable, trustworthy, communicative, true to her word, focused on the dog when together, delivers value. I can count on her. If you book a half-hour, you get a half-hour. Critical Caregiver Attributes: 'Loving Alpha' - Ariana is clearly the leader of her pack and does so in a gently assertive, loving manner. English Mastiffs are tough...you need to give them a reason to do whatever it is you're asking of them. Like all dogs, they're extremely sensitive to the energy of the person holding their leash. As with any new relationship, my dog was a little hesitant at first. Fortunately, Ariana is patient and understands the importance of building trust and connecting with the dogs she cares for. It was only a few days before they were in an easy routine and I was coming home to a noticeably happier dog. Dog. Whisperer. - Most people lack the know-how and confidence to effectively handle a 200-pound dog. It boils down to mutual respect earned by showing the dog that you speak their language. Ariana has that in spades so I am confident that she can keep my dog and everyone they encounter together safe and happy. She also understands how dogs crave routine and prioritizes that for her clients. My Dog LOVES Her - I recently had the benefit of seeing what my dog does when Ariana comes. Unbeknownst to Ariana, I was working from home and was sitting in another room when she came in. My dog went from snoring in a stone-cold sleep to excitedly jumping up, tail-wagging, and barking with delight the second the key hit the lock. Seeing her sheer joy said it all. Capable With Special Needs - Betty Rose has mobility issues and needs assistance getting around which takes both brawn and patience...Ariana handles her masterfully. On the day we first met, the dog in her care had stitches from surgery and she watched closely to ensure he played safely. Ariana is also comfortable with administering medicines and ensuring care is rendered, need be. Avid Photographer - Ariana doesn't just take pictures of the dog, she does lots of selfies that allow me to see how they interact together. I can see the genuine love between the two of them. Finally, My Neighbors Give Ariana Rave Reviews - Not a day goes by that a neighbor doesn't mention seeing Betty Rose with Ariana during her daily visits. I love that Ariana has taken note of my dog's friends and encourages socialization and playtime. Too often you see a walker hurridly dragging a dog out for a quick potty break...no time for fresh air or interaction. Ariana's special gift is understanding what her pups need on any given day and her willingness to make sure they get it. Highly, highly recommend.
Ariana is an amazing dog walker/sitter. More so, she's just amazing with animals (and people too!). She's naturally very loving and caring. She treats my dog like her own. It doesn't seems like a "job" for her. This along is priceless and invaluable. It removes all worry from my mind, leaving my little puppy with her. I highly recommend her - she's a rare person with a genuine, loving heart.
Can't rave enough about Ariana, she's the best. She truly adores animals & they love her right back. So much so that Bella tries to go to her house when we are on walks. When she spots Ariana in the streets - she B lines it to go see her. When I pick up after boarding, Bella tries to go back to Ariana's. These pics are from a time recently when I was walking Bella (on leash) & she was so excited to run over to Ariana walking a sweet gentle group of dogs. To prevent Bella's leash from potentially getting tangled & her getting trapped - since she's 4lbs, I took Bella off leash momentarily while I was standing right there. Bella immediately joined the pack, turned & looked at me - with a posture & demeanor as if saying - "what's up mom, I'm with my crew." It was all the feels. Ariana's a dog whisperer for sure.
We couldn’t survive without Ariana! She walks our beloved Penny every week, and is so helpful when we need last minute walks. Penny loves Ariana and the pup crew. She perks up every time she hears Ariana and the crew coming to get her, and will try to join the pack even on days when she is not being walked. We couldn’t trust Ariana more. She’s truly so great with all the animals - highly recommend!!
Playa Paws is the BEST! They "Arianna " took care of my little one as if he was hers. I had to leave the state for a funeral. I couldn't find family available to care for him. I searched the internet and found Playa Paws right in my neighborhood! I dropped him off the next day before my flight. Adriana spent me videos and pictures while I was gone! He had a great time and Adriana made me feel very comfortable with her skils , how she cared for Jojo spoiled him, and the attention she gives all of her Doggy Guests! The price is not cheap but the service is worth EVERY PENNY! I would recommend Playa Paws and plan to use them again!!!! Thanks soooo much Adriana Jojo sends kisses 💋
My dog loves loves going to see Ariana. She takes such good care of him. I feel so comfortable leaving him with her. She’s fantastic.
If you think you cannot teach an old dog new tricks, you haven't had Ariana (Auntie Ari as we call her) as a pet sitter. Ariana leads with such love and care, that over time our little doxie became more comfortable with other dogs, staying away overnight, and stopped the excessive barking when family and friends come into our home. The unexpected bonuses from Ariana's care has made life better for all of us! We highly recommend Ariana for all your pet needs!
Most dog people are kind-hearted but Ariana is a top notch true dog lover and it shows. She is responsive, compassionate, professional (pretty good photographer too)and very good with all types of dogs. My Pipi took to her instantly and looks forward to her walks with Ariana. I've had several last minute-urgent requests and she has a quick response time and luckily has been available. I can't recommend her enough. 5 stars for sure.
We started using Playa Paws to walk our dogs a few months ago. We had just adopted a new dog who happened to have been born blind and were looking for a dog walker who would take care of him, in addition to his rambunctious and anxious 70 pound brother. Ariana came to our place to meet our dogs. She sat on the floor with them and took time to introduce herself to them and they took to her almost immediately. They both have a blast every time she walks them. We've been home a few times when she has come to pick them up and they both go sprinting toward the door to meet her. As a bonus to us humans, she takes the time to document their adventures and sends some pictures from their walls at the end of the day along with a recap of the walk. She responds quickly to texts and is reliable and professional. We know that our dogs are in excellent hands while Ariana is taking care of them. If you're looking for a dog walker we highly recommend Ariana.
I have been sending my dog here for the past few months and Susie, Shahid and all the staff are GOD SENT! My dog has been thriving physically and emotionally and LOVES getting dropped off and I am beyond impressed with the careful care and love they give the dogs. Kind staff who just love our dogs genuinely! You can't put a price tag on that! Thank you Howling Dog!
My pup Matcha always has an amazing time here. Susie is super nice and always shares photos during the day. I don’t like regular doggy daycares due to overcrowding, overstimulation, etc., issues, but Howling Dog is a small ratio of dogs to humans. Susie focuses on a mix of enrichment, group play, etc. with a smaller group of dogs. 10/10 would recommend!
Howling Dog is truly exceptional - there's really no where else I would trust with my puppy! The staff is so kind, incredibly attentive, and the enrichment schedule is top notch - socialization, obedience training, and fun tricks are part of each and every day. My puppy practically leaps out of the car with excitement every time we arrive and has made huge progress in socialization, reactivity, confidence, and separation anxiety since we started going to Howling Dog! The dogs are closely monitored, the environment is incredibly clean and spacious, and the owner and staff are true professionals. This place sounds too good to be true, but I promise you: it's the real deal!! So grateful to have found them!
I am beyond grateful we found Susie and her team! The staff is attentive and caring which gives us so much peace of mind when we need to drop our puppy off. We have used their daycare and boarding services and I can’t recommend Howling Dog enough!
Susie is AMAZING. They have a great facility, great ethos, and really care about the well being of the dogs. We have a nervous new dog that comes back so happy and enriched each time we drop him off. Cannot recommend this place enough.
Susie and her team are the best. I’m so lucky to have found her. She does an amazing job with my 2 year old German Shepherd. Super clean facility. I highly recommend!
Howling Dog — If you are in So Cal & looking for a “not just a dog daycare place” but a place where your pup is cared for, nurtured and even INSPIRED. Nope, it’s not way more than the other places. Susie, the CEO and owner is definitely the kind of person you would want watching over your pup. I had been to several places and while Joely loved the place so much up in WA— we were so happy to find a similar place here YAY!!! Better sign up now cause its going to be SRO soon. Mark my words. Thanks Susie. See you soon!
My dog’s been coming here for months and every day she comes home tired - in a great way - and happy and healthy. I have the utmost confidence in Susie and her team.
Ochie seems to enjoy his time there. He is exhausted when he leaves from having so much fun!
Never before have I written a review of a service I have never used, after 2 emails and a text with no callback, I have to question Howlin Dog professionalism. Can't trust my dog to these people.
Isla (my Mini-Labradoodle) has been going to Camp Puppies since she was 6 months old and I couldn't be more grateful to have someone as amazing as Kacy as Isla's second mom. When we moved to the South Bay from San Luis Obispo, we didn't find a good fit with any of the local kennels and knew that our Isla needed more personalized attention, exercise, and love. I stumbled upon Camp Puppies on Google, and couldn't be happier that Kacy was willing to take Isla into the pack. Through working with Kacy during weekly walks and occasional overnights, Isla has become a more confident and social little lady. She always comes home super tired and I always know how much fun she had from the photos and videos sent by Kacy. I literally could never trust anyone else with my precious Isla and wouldn't leave the South Bay because of how great Kacy and Camp Puppies is! Thank you Kacy!!!
Our sweet, senior pug is treated like a tiny prince at Camp Puppies! Kacy truly loves every pup she works with as if they were her own. She is attentive, thoughtful, and gives **all** the love there is to give towards each and every dog in her care. Camp Puppies is reflective of Kacy’s genuine care for her clients and her commitment to making sure CP is a delightful experience for both dog and human.
We absolutely love Kacy, can't say enough good things about her and our dogs feel the same way! Kacy takes our dogs on great long walks often to exciting and new places nearby, which they love. If you are in the South Bay you need to use Kacy and Camp Puppies for all your dog walking and boarding needs.
We love Camp Puppies! I’ve sent my pup to Chrissy for plenty of long weekends, and even sent her to Puppies while I spent time abroad. I always receive plenty of pictures and updates so I know my pup is in great hands. Chrissy genuinely loves and cares for the dogs she is watching, and I have and will recommend her to friends again in the future.
If I could give 10 stars, I would! Chrissy is a godsend! We were introduced to Chrissy by accident by a neighbor who absolutely raved about her dog walker. We had always wanted to get a dog walker for our dog but have trust issues and never took the plunge. After our neighbor expressed her adoration and trust for Chrissy, we reached out and met with her and decided to give her a chance. We couldn't be more happy with our choice and are so grateful she LOVES what she does because it benefits us all! She is organized and flexible, which is very much appreciated. She has a great personality and a kind heart. My dog loves her and looks forward to his outings with Chrissy and the pack. She sends and posts pictures of our pup when they're out on their adventures and sends you updates when she's planning to arrive and after she drops off your pup. Couldn't be more happy with our experiences thus far and are happy to continue working with Chrissy! Camp Puppies is a legit business (licensed and bonded) that can be trusted. I highly recommend you reach out and take advantage of Chrissy's wonderful talents and services! Thank you, Chrissy and Camp Puppies, for all that you do!
Kacy has been the best bud and walker for our wiggly, reactive pitbull Lola. She also walks our dog Radar who is a shelter doggo that is still learning not to pull. Kacy takes them on long walks and trips to fun parks that they look forward to each week. Our whole family loves Kacy! <3
Kacy is a second mommy to my fur baby-she has taken such great care of our dog on walks while we work and also for overnights when we go out of town. You can tell how much she genuinely loves the dogs and I know that mine is in the best hands with her. So glad I found Camp Puppies. Thanks Kacy!!
My family LOVES camp puppies. My two dogs get to vacation when we vacation :) Chrissy takes such great care of them and always keeps us up to speed with adorable pics and messages. She is flexible and accommodating, trustworthy and reliable but most importantly FUN and LOVING!!!!!
Camp Puppies is absolutely the best. My dog, Winston absolutely adores Chrissy. Chrissy treats all her pups like her own. You know your pup is in great hands with the many photos you receive as well as an amazing Instagram page @camppuppies. 5 out of 5 stars. I would give more if I could! I love Camp Puppies! She's dependable and trustworthy. If you're looking for a place for your pup, this is it!
We LOVE Kacy and so does our pup! She has known him since he was a tiny baby and I think he may love her more than us, lol! She is kind, loving and overall amazing with him! Highly highly recommend her services! We are so lucky to know her!!
I've been going here for years. Olga loves my pup like her own. She's always excited to see him and he is always exhausted when he comes home. It's his home away from home with his special friends. Highly recommend and very reasonable in pricing.
We found our hidden gem with Olga. She is the best in keeping our Crissy (Sweet lady) her nic kname for our furbaby safe and happy during her stays. She is getting the full VIP treatment with a shampoo and cut this weekend. We highly recommend 5 Star Doggie Inn. It truly is 5 star.
I am so happy to have found Olga and 5 Star Doggy Inn. Clean, always welcoming, wonderful for daycare as well as overnight boarding. I never worry when I have to leave my pup with Olga. I love that she regularly posts videos of her happy charges running and romping together.
We could not recommend this place enough. Olga is one of the most patient and kindest boarders we have found. And that comes from owners of a teacup chihuahua with a separation anxiety problem. Anytime he goes to stay he has always enjoyed his time and comes back with new friends. His private room with his own things make him feel more secure and safe. We’ll continue to board him here! Thank you, Olga! Thank you 5 Star Doggy Inn!
We love taking our two American Eskimo dogs here. It's their home away from home and they love it. We have been coming to 5 star doggy inn since 2019 and have always had great service from them. Olga is so sweet and accommodating. Love getting them bathed here too so they are fresh and fluffy when we pick them up.
We're very happy with the care and attention our dog Scout receives at the Doggy Inn. They have indoor and outdoor play areas, and for overnights the dogs stay in private rooms (think large dressing room size) rather than in crates, which feels much more homey. The owner and staff are caring and accommodating, and our dog always seems happy for play time at Olga's. The prices are also reasonable. Love that they share pics and video on Facebook so you can check in on your pet while away! A+++
Olga is such a wonderful Lady. I always felt comfortable leaving my dogs there. I know they are always in good hands.
Olga and her team are great. We have a 16 year old dog and Olga takes care to make sure he gets his meds and is well taken care of.
Olga is one amazing human being. They way she cares for the dogs, always remembers their names, and takes special care, letting us leave special toys or medicine is simply the best.
Our Yorkie has spent a number of "spa" days at 5 Star and loves it. Olga and her crew are great!
Rue’s Kennels arranged everything smoothly in transporting my dog all the way from the Philippines. Even with the new CDC guidelines and requirements, they were very helpful arranging from papers works to picking up my dog in LAX and even driving my dog to my hotel after her vaccination. Would recommend Rue’s Kennels 💯💯💯grateful for all the staff especially to Jill ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Very accommodating and updates you every time regarding your dog’s status (airport arrival and daiky status). I really appreciate everything they did to my dog. My dog flew from Philippines to USA. 😊 …
My dog was imported from China and stayed at Rue's to get the CDC required revaccination. they took great care of my dog. They were extremely helpful and gave assistance with finding a cage and filling out paperwork for the rest of my trip home. They were very busy though, and it was a little hard to keep in contact before arriving/picking up my dog. However, I would definitely recommend Rue's Kennel!
I had a great experience with Rue’s. They picked up the my dog from LAX and he stay with them while he waited to go through CDC’s health check before being transported a few days later from LAX to PDX, which Rue’s arranged. Jill was in regular communication with me and also shared photos of my dog during his stay at Rue’s. I felt my dog was in very goods!
With a month in planning the owner canceled the pickup just before the arrival for an incoming international dog arriving from Seoul Korea leaving us in a major situation having to find someone to receive our dog so he was not stranded at the airport. We are located out of state and depended on Rue’s Kennels to insure our dog got from the airport to a safe boarding for pick up next day. Serious failure from them. The whole process was poor communication and slow or no response to communications.
Sorry to be the buzzkill, but when a business fails on its commitment and doesn't own the resolution, forcing the customer to scramble to make alternate arrangements, that's the consequence. Short version: Owner of Rue's Kennels at LAX was committed to picking up inbound rescue dog at LAX but canceled on us hours before his arrival, and there was zero effort made to get our needs accommodated. We had to scramble to get someone (me) to the airport to receive the dog and properly care for him. Detailed version: Owner of Rue's Kennels sent this message 11 hours before dog's scheduled arrival at LAX: "Unfortunately, I had an accident yesterday and injured my hand. I’m honestly not able to pick up. Please give me a call this morning so we can try to find a volunteer. This will be also close to 10 pm this evening and I also don’t have any staff to assist. Thank you, Jill" I live in Sacramento (500 miles from LAX) and had planned to pick up the dog from Rue's Kennels the following day. Instead, I had to abruptly cancel my entire day and drive to LAX almost immediately. While I can certainly empathize with being sidelined due to an accident, it was Jill's duty and responsibility to recruit someone to meet this obligation. Friends, family, even every competitor in town should have been contacted. Utter FAIL. I'm sure the kennels and staff are lovely, but I wouldn't know because I never saw them, because Jill did not fulfill her commitment to bring the dog there as our organization had contracted them to do. Had I not dropped everything and rushed to LAX from Northern California, this poor dog would have been in a crate stranded in the International terminal after being crated for 15 hours. I shudder to think what would have happened to him. Bear this in mind as you consider who will care for your pets. Maybe their system functions fine when life doesn't present them any challenges, but you'll be wise not to count on them when the unexpected happens. Photo depicts rush hour LA traffic I endured in my mad rush to get to LAX
We've recently relocated to San Jose with our 68 pound dog Enzo. After a 15 hour flight, Johnathan from Rue's Kennel met us at the airport, was supportive, informative and friendly, easing the dog's and our own stress in this complex and sensitive process. At the kennel, Enzo was well taken care of, and Rue's team quickly processed the admin aspect. We've arrived on Friday and were an inch near leaving the dog for the entire weekend, but Jill and the team have managed to work miracles with the CDC and eventually we were out and free as early as 3PM! Their professionalism, pure love of animals and super positive and caring attitude are all beyond words. Thanks guys! from Tanya, myself and of course, Enzo.
The team at Rue’s Kennel are amazing. We recently migrated from Philippines to San Diego, CA. They took care of Solana for 2 days. Give her the love she deserves after a looong stressful flight! 🥹 Special thanks to Patty for her patience with me in answering all of my concerns in email! 😅 Also thanks to Jonathan for being so accomodating. He picked up Solana at the airport and give us an update from time to time ❤️ Would highly recommend to friends and family! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
All is well that ends well I guess. If I had submitted a review before the end of my experience it would have been a ⭐ review. A huge amount of trust is put in the company you choose to care for your pet and reliance to get them safely through customs. I followed all of their protocols to the letter, however they never could be reached. Voicemail box full... Very unresponsive which is nerve-wracking when you are transporting a pet from out of the country. Not only that, but when I came to pick up the woman, I assumed the owner... was rude and short with me. Once I finally was admitted onto the property to pick up, I could tell the woman was trying to do too much at once. I don't know if they were short handed or what, but she had her ear piece in the entire time and I could never tell if she was talking to me or the person on the phone. I sympathize being overwhelmed and trying to wear so many hats but obviously it's a recipe for disaster and not okay, especially when paying $1,400 for airport pick up, one night stay and vaccination. Communication with the client to keep them in the loop as to any issue with customs, pick up and transitions to the facility or just to put their mind at ease goes such a long way. They actually called me 2 hrs after I had picked up my dog to say I could come pick her up (I already had her down the road 2hrs away). I will say by the time I was helped at the kennel facility all I did was show my paperwork, I paid and was on my way.
Rues Kennels was the biggest blessing to my family and I. We had previously imported a dog from another country and had a very rough experience, but this time we sent our second dog to America via Rues Kennels and couldn't have been a better experience. Jill and her team communicated with me throughout the entire process, making sure I knew exactly how my pup was doing and how he was adjusting after his long flight and customs process. Jill truly loves animals and treats each dog that comes through her facility like her own, and the facility feels like a home. I would use Rues Kennels again in a heartbeat.
