Deirdre stayed in our home for three weeks watching our cat. Deirdre is a clear communicator. We hopped on a call before confirming the sit and since that call we had confidence in her ability to watch our home for an extended period of time. During the stay we had a few unexpected house issues that needed attention. Deirdre was excellent at communicating the issue and coordinating with contractors as needed. Deirdre was also wonderful with our cat. Deirdre had questions about our cat's personality the first few days as she got to know him and I am glad she asked us. We received frequent pictures/videos and we came back to a stress free cat.

Cynthia was a perfect pet sitter for our little kitty. We knew from her extensive experience with cats that Nala was in good hands. She was extremely responsive via texts when we were away, ensuring us that the 2 of them were having a great time. She went absolutely above and beyond by scrubbing our bath and toilets to remove our mineral deposit rings that we haven't been able to get rid of! She even left the name of the product she used so we can get more in the future. The house was cleaner than when we left. We'll have her back anytime!

I am struggling with naming our top adjective to describe Michael and Jeanne. "Conscientious" will likely be it but then again, "personable," "reliable," "organised," and "animal-loving" are top contenders. If you are reading this review and contemplating inviting this couple to watch your pets, then look no further. We have had a number of excellent house sitters but this pair was next level in terms of the love they showed our cats, Maxx and Nala. When we came back, we could our animals already missed them. These cats, who have never slept with anyone other than us, were getting in bed with them each night -- and that meant climbing stairs! The day before our trip, Nala got an ear infection and had to be put on steroids for asthma. Michael and Jeanne did not sign up for that when the sit was booked but they took it in stride. In the last-minute rush, I relayed that Nala needed her oral steroids morning and night. Michael read the RX label, indicating one dose a day, and contacted the vet to clarify. So you can see why "conscientious" is right up there. They saved Nala from an overdose! We were gone three weeks and they sent us just the right amount of pictures and videos. They bought cat toys (I forgot to put ours out!) and actively engaged with them, including 20-minute massages for Maxx. I truly believed them when they said they fell in love with our fur babies. The house was spotless (which was not important to me but truly appreciated) but I smiled when all six water stations in our yard were filled. They took seriously my love for and the needs of the wildlife in our yard. Our plants were all in good condition as well. Sensing they were "next level" when I met them, I predicted they would want to leave a meal for us upon our return. I asked them not to but they found another way to bow out with class. They made a donation to a nonprofit I work with instead. This I learned from the lovely thank you note they left. I hope they will consider Charles and I friends because we certainly feel that way about them now. What special people. If you book them, treat them well because they are going to do that for you for sure.

Anna was an excellent sitter - she took great care to understand all of the intricacies of taking care of the house and cats, asked lots of questions, and arrived on time and ready for the sit. Wow! Just wow! We cannot say enough about the care and compassion Trisha and John provided to our cats and our home. We are always somewhat nervous about a new pet sitter in our home, but that all faded when we met this wonderful couple. They provided daily updates as requested, complete with pictures, videos and personalized captions. Upon our return, we were greeted by happy and content kitties. There was no sign of anxiety in Tika! Yea!!! Our home was clean, the sheets and towels were washed and bed remade! They even left behind thank you notes and little gifts! What a breath of fresh air these two individuals are! We hope to have them back again soon.

Amazing sitters - I feel so fortunate to have had them stay. Chapeau was treated to daily walks and belly rubs, and my cat Tica was overflowing with contentment from having been taken care of so well. The house was cleaner than I left it and I was treated to a nice note and a lovely candle upon my return. Also, they left a checklist of item that they had done while here. Truly above and beyond!

Jack and his associate did a fantastic job looking in on my cat while I was away for a week. She is used to my almost constant presence, so it is hard for her when I am not there. But, she adapted to Jack and Michelle very well, which helped her to be less anxious. They are consummate professionals, and I would recommend them to anyone. My wife and I have a cat who, while adorable, is rambunctious to say the least. He's friendly around people but is picky about play and how he is petted. And I would certainly hate to leave him alone! But Jack, Michelle, and Asher take such great care of him that I've been coming back ever since we first tried out Your Pet's Best Friend while we went on a vacation. I particularly appreciate the communication I receive--daily texts, videos, and questions about what to do in certain scenarios tell me that my little furry guy is being taken care of each day he is visited. I also really enjoy that during the warmer months, Jack will water plants. Thanks to him we had some very successful tomato yields! I also appreciate that traditional peak times--Thanksgiving/Christmas/etc--are not a problem for checking up. Last minute availability is also not a problem; I've given Jack sometimes as little as 24 hours notice and he's been able to accommodate watching our cat. Jack was exceedingly professional at our first meeting, and he asks all the questions you would hope that someone watching your pet would ask. You can't go wrong if you need a sitter for the day, for a weekend, or even for a month (all lengths of time I've used him for). I highly recommend if you're looking for someone to care for your furry friends.
I have been using Jack for midday visits to my home since January of 2018. I remember when he came over for the first time to meet me and my animals. I was interviewing a few different people, and Jack was the one that exuded confidence and professionalism. I felt like I could trust him with my two rambunctious pit bulls, which required a higher degree of responsibility. The choice was pretty easy. Not only does he provide great care to the resident dogs, he is always accommodating to the many senior foster dogs that I have had over the years. He texts me after every visit, and his narratives are detailed and frequently humorous. He is proactive about holidays and asks if he is needed or not, and always gives plenty of notice for his vacations. I have no reservations about recommending Jack for pet care needs.

I should be embarrassed to admit this, but since I don't have children, it's fair to say I treat my dogs as if they were my kids. Jack has been there for all our dog walking and pet-sitting needs. If I'm working late, it's comforting knowing our pups are getting a walk and fresh air during the day. Jack's fantastic and has always been flexible if we need a sitter for the day or overnight. Jack's affordable, quick to respond (even when I have a last-minute request), and he takes his work seriously. You can tell his love of animals is genuine and he provides little notes and updates on our pups (who took care of business, where they went) and is reliable and trustworthy. My dogs love him! And they love only the best people (actually, they love everyone and Jack is no exception).

I can’t say enough good things about Weather or Not. As a former vet tech, I am admittedly extremely picky about the caretakers I choose for my dog. I am happy to report my dog has always been happy, healthy, and very well taken care of here. We’re given frequent updates and pictures and Lisa isn’t afraid to reach out to ask about something if she isn’t sure, which is such an important quality to have! She takes the utmost care and always wants to make sure she’s making the best choices for our girl. We moved out of state a couple of years ago and still make the drive all the way back here when we’re going away because we don’t trust anyone else with our girl. Simply the best!!

Weather or Not is outstanding! We have used Lisa's company for pet taxi, dog walking, and overnight boarding. Every service has been outstanding. Our dogs absolutely adore Lisa...so much so, that our pup, Piper, was totally happy to trot off for overnight boarding without even looking back once when we dropped her off. All Creatures Pet Care is first-rate. Brooke has taken care of my golden doodle since he was a puppy, sometimes for up to three weeks when I have traveled. The care is exceptional! Brooke and her team are literally the best. They will treat your pet as if it were their own. I’ve used them for about two years now, and I will never look elsewhere. They are extremely professional and will handle any of your concerns with the upmost importance. As a busy dog mom, I can assure you that they are the most reliable pet service in our area. They pick up and drop off for almost all of their services and they make it a seamless process through their app. All Creatures will communicate with you one on one and they are always more than willing to answer any questions for you. They provide pictures throughout the day, and you can even track your dog walker through their app. Brooke was a vet tech for years and warned me about an issue with my dog that saved me thousands. I was given faulty advice from my former vet and after leaving them, Brooke recommended a vet who I absolutely love. I also have a very dominant, alpha dog and I wasn’t sure if my training was effective or not so I consulted with Brooke and her team and they were able to provide effective solutions to correct those behaviors. I could honestly go on and on about how much I have benefited from All Creatures. If you are stuck between services or if you are seeking a pet service, I would highly recommend this company. My dog Sadie goes here for regular baths and nail clipping. She is always happy to go so I know they treat her well. She comes out smelling and looking well groomed and wagging her tail! The staff is always friendly and genuinely care for your furry baby!
Our Dalmatian, Neuhaus loves his visits so much when he sees me packing up his food & toys the whimpering begins. He really enjoys the play time with his friends and we love the Pet Cam! It makes our vacation less stressful knowing he is having fun in a safe loving environment.
My Shih Poo George came back happy and tired from his first time boarding for two days and was very soft and fluffy from his exit bath. The staff was friendly and fantastic! I will become a regular customer going forward!
Staff was welcoming as soon as I walked into the door; pleasant, greeting, and top shelf hospitality. Tabby, our calico cat, was not stressed or scared as she entered the cat boarding area. Will definitely use again!

Our pooch loves Best Friends like it's her second home. We've been boarding our dog here for about 3 years and the staff has always been phenomenal. Everyone is very friendly and it's a very welcoming environment. I admittedly get nervous when my dog and other dogs "meet," but she always does great at group play at Best Friends. I don't know what kind of magic they work but I get a little bit of a "training session" myself each time I chat with the staff at Best Friends when I pick her up. They're all great people and willing to provide helpful tips.
From my experience Best Friends always keeps our dog happy safe and well fed during his trips there. Anytime I have a concern or question or change in schedule they always try to accommodate. They love seeing Charlie’s face when he arrives and their new groomer has bonded with him which is not easy to do!!!
Over the past few years I boarded my dogs at Best Friends for weekend or week long stays. Having the opportunity to “check in” via video is a terrific addition to the boarding service. My dogs have always been happy when they realized they were going to spend time at Best Friends. Their reaction as we entered the doors made me feel they had a good time during previous visits. I highly recommend Best Friends!
Best Friends is our ultimate doggy destination! My German shepherd Moon is so excited to attend the day camp at Best Friends, he practically pulls me through the door. Moon has such a blast playing with his furry friends and the staff who clearly adore dogs, and always comes home happy and ready to conk out for a well-deserved nap. And thanks to the clean environment - NO doggy daycare funk!! We have also used Best Friends for longer stays, and Moon always comes back the same tired, happy pup. Knowing that he is having fun and being well cared for allows us to relax and enjoy our time away.
My two golden doodles were well taken care as first time boarders by very experienced staff that were highly responsive to the individual needs of my dogs. Planning, drop off, and pick up were well coordinated and timely. I will definitely be using Best Friends Pet Hotel in the future and highly recommend their services.

Heather is the best!!! We went away for a family vacation and she came over 4x a day, she fed , walked and played with our crew of cats and dogs. She also took our one dog to his daycare. We got emails and pictures of everything that was going on during each visit. I can't say enough about how at ease we were, knowing that our fur babies were in her hands. She got to know each one of them and knew their likes and dislikes. If you are going away and need someone to watch over your "crew" ( that's what she called them) Heather is the one to call.

I have a very anxious, older dog, who is unable to be kenneled. With a family trip to Disney coming up, I needed to find an alternative to a traditional boarding facility. Terry has provided us with so much more than just that. She gave us comfort and peace of mind. We did weekly daycare visits leading up to our trip so that my dog could get to know Terry and get comfortable with her. This helped so much with her anxiety. When it came time for our trip I knew that my dog was in good hands and that she would feel comfortable and safe with Terry. Terry took care of her, like she was her own and sent me daily updates letting me know how she was doing, which I loved. I will definitely continue to use Terry’s services and recommend her to everyone!
We left our 4 year old hound pit bull mix cookie with Terry knowing she will be in good hands and we could relax during our vacay . Cookie walked eagerly towards Terry - whenever we drop her off so we know she’s happy there with someone who truly cares .

Terry Lynn is very much dedicated and devoted to caring for pets - her own and yours! She scheduled a meet and greet with us for all 3 of our dogs, providing a sense of relief in leaving them overnight. She has soothing music playing at all times and easy access to the secured yard. Terry Lynn was kind enough to send us pictures and reassurance throughout the pups' entire stay. She is kind, professional, and a genuine animal lover. Terry Lynn’s critters is our dog Harper’s favorite place to be! Harper has been going to Terry’s since she was a puppy and we have had nothing but a wonderful experience. Terry is incredibly accommodating to our work schedules as my fiancé and I both work in healthcare. She loves all the dogs at daycare as her own and we are so thankful to have Terry love our Harper.
Terry took care of my 3 cats while I was out of the country for 10 days. She sent me photos, in and of itself a feat because I never expected them to come out, and communicated with me frequently. She had to have a medical procedure during this time and still made sure my cats were taken care of. I highly recommend.
Terry is a fabulous, caring pet-sitter. Our dogs, Ollie and Ellie, and kitty, Tommy, love her and she treats them like family! She did at-home visits while we were away sending texts and pictures frequently. Our kitty needs medication administered twice a day and she had no problem doing that for us. She brought in the mail and even refilled my bird feeders when they were empty. She goes above and beyond. It is such a great feeling to be able to get away on vacation knowing your pets and home are well cared for. I highly recommend Terry.
Terry is the absolute best pet sitter I’ve ever found, and truly the only non blood relative i’ve ever totaly trusted to take care of my sweet, adorable and very challenging rescue bichon, Spencer. Spencer came to me as a last-chance foster off death-row, after burning his way through shelters and foster homes. He suffered from the most intense separation anxiety- a vet even suggested putting him down at one point, to end his suffering! He came a long way with training and a behavior consult, but he never was able to shake his separation anxiety…. enter Terry. This woman made it possible for me to attend law school and work, and Spencer actually enjoyed week long stays while I vacationed out of the country. I’ve moved out of the area, but have yet to find any one as sweet, kind, caring, responsible, trustworthy and knowledgeable as Terry! your fur babies will thank you.

Not only is Jenn friendly, reliable and loves Charlie as if she was her own, but she knows how to handle Charlie’s quirks and personality. Jen is truly one of the best dog walkers out there. Our dog Oscar is obsessed with her - to the point where she tries to walk quietly by our house if she's going to walk our neighbor's dog so he doesn't hear her! On Oscar's first birthday, I was traveling for work and Jen took Oscar to the store to get him a birthday cake toy. It's the smaller, thoughtful things like this that make her irreplaceable in our pup's life. She also takes super cute pictures (attached) and sends an email about how each walk went. She makes leaving Oscar for work trips less hard because I know that he'll be so excited to see her when she comes for his walk!
Jen and the Shawe's team have been walking my family's dogs for 7 years or so. They have always gone above and beyond to accommodate shifting schedules, schedule or cancel on short notice, and even pick up the phone to talk about any pet concerns we might have (unrelated to them! just for advice!). My pup Ollie loves seeing his walkers and I could not do my job without the peace of mind that someone responsible will come take him out and play with him while I work. Bonus - they take the best pics of my little guy while they visit!

We have had an incredibly positive experience with Jen and her team at Shawe's Paws! When we first moved to Philadelphia, our dog was very shy and timid around walkers that we would hire through various apps, but then Jen came and saved the day. She goes above and beyond to make Benji comfortable and now he gets excited when we just say her name. They send photos and updates during the walks, they make scheduling so easy and they are very accommodating! We have also had positive experiences with a few other members on her team! I’ve used Jen and her walkers for over 5 years now and I honestly would never use any other dog walking service in Philly. She is trustworthy, reliable, AND LOVES all of her dogs. And my dog absolutely loves her dog walkers, as I’ve been able to see a couple times when my dog will go running toward them, tail wagging if we happen to bump into them on the street. Jen uses an easy-to-use app to schedule walks/pay invoices and to see the daily walk reports which is super convenient. Also Jen makes herself available for every client and will always try her best to accommodate any late requests - I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve had to put in a last minute request for a same-day dog walk or for an overnight stay the week-of and Jen will always make it work. Aside from that, it’s great to get pictures of my dog on her walk while I’m at work - I truly never have to worry Sophie when I’m not at home because I know she’s in such great hands. Jen and her team has been taking care of our dog since he was brought into our family as a puppy! From consistent walks, amazing walkers and just all around dog people to overnight stays, she has been there for us throughout his life (and will be for the many years yet to come)! Jen is understanding and flexible with last minute changes, which for us happen a lot! Her walkers leave a note about their walk every time and even text/call us from time to time with updates. I have never noticed a thing out of place in out of place after a walker left. The Shawe's Paws team is the only team I trust to take the best care of our dog! Jen has been in my dog's life for years (even though we've since moved to the suburbs.) She and her staff are flexible, reliable, and they LOVE their charges/pets. They truly understand my quirky, sweet dachshund and he loves them for it. He even got to sleep over Jen's house!! Jen is super responsive and capable and she chooses excellent staff members.
