Lynette and Randy as well as Lynette's friend Janyce have house sat for us a number of times in the past, and once again they exceeded our expectations in every way. From the first communication with Lynette, it is clear that she is dedicated to the well being of your pet. Since she began sitting for us, we have added a new puppy to the mix and three dogs, one being a puppy, has not deterred her. In her mind - it adds to the fun of the stay. Lynette is well experienced with dogs and we never worry when she is at out home. Not only are our dogs well loved and cared for, the house is spotless and in perfect condition when we return. She communicates well and is self sufficient. She takes everything in stride and is truly excited to spend time with our dogs. They love it when she is at our place! This time she gave us a treasured keepsake by having each of the dogs create a lovely piece of art. The clever technique involved acrylic paint on canvas, a ziplock bag, peanut butter and dogs licking the peanut butter. lol The result was amazing and the video she sent was so fun to watch! If you get a chance to have Lynette and Randy or Lynette and Janyce come to stay at your place, do not hesitate. Lynette is a superstar sitter and we are fortunate to have her in our lives and the lives of our dogs! Thank you once again Lynette; you are a gem!

Julie and Lou were wonderful pet parents to our puppies while we were away. When my husband and I arrived home, I'm sure the dogs were looking forward to seeing Julie and Lou, not us - and this is a good thing, clearly the dogs were emotionally attached to Julie and Lou. When we returned the house was spotless, cleaner than when we left. The dogs were very happy, very much themselves, and not at all perturbed by our absence. I think Julie and Lou followed all the suggestions we made for dog care and this is made everything run smoothly. Julie gave us some useful hints on preparation for their arrival, this was very helpful. While we were away, she sent regular updates and pictures. Based on the pics, it was clear the dogs were having a really good experience. We feel very lucky to have found Julie and Lou, and highly recommend them to any pet parents who need someone to care for their fur babies. 10 out of 10!

Joanne was an excellent house and dog sitter. She was very reliable, and kept me informed while I was away, by sending pictures of my dog Sam. He looked very happy and content, and he enjoyed the long walks. On return , I found a clean and tidy house and Joanne had thoughtfully left supper for me. I would definitely give a 5 star rating, and would want to have Joanne in the future.

It was a pleasure to host Marilyn and Brian for a second time! Having repeat sitters makes travel so much easier and our time away so much more enjoyable. Cynthia was a perfect pet sitter for our little kitty. We knew from her extensive experience with cats that Nala was in good hands. She was extremely responsive via texts when we were away, ensuring us that the 2 of them were having a great time. She went absolutely above and beyond by scrubbing our bath and toilets to remove our mineral deposit rings that we haven't been able to get rid of! She even left the name of the product she used so we can get more in the future. The house was cleaner than when we left. We'll have her back anytime!

Kendra was a great cat sitter to Genepi and she truly is a cat whisperer. Genepi usually takes 4 days to make friends with a new person but she came out and made friends with Kendra Day 1! Kendra regularly sent wonderful videos and pics of Genepi purring happily. The apartment was neat when we returned and our garden was blossoming. Would absolutely ask Kendra to sit again and highly recommend her. Thanks Kendra!!

Young was the perfect house sitter for us. From the moment you meet her, you can tell she is animal person and is detailed oriented and will take great care of your house and pets. She exudes a peaceful and grounded energy. She was comfortable with each our pets from the high energy dog to the shy skittish cat. She played with the dog in the yard every day and took him on walks. And she was also very attentive to our cats and figured out how to maintain the equilibrium in the relationship between the cats and dog. She is an excellent communicator; she asked questions when our directions weren't clear and kept us updated on the pets. She is also an amazing photographer. She sent us pics of our pets every day that totally captured each of their personalities.

Sabre is a sweet, honest person who stepped up at the very last moment (after the prior sitter flaked out) to watch our dog and cat for 17 days. When there were a couple minor accidents, she informed us of them right away. One involved a burnt pan (easy to do if you’re not familiar with an induction stovetop) which she offered to replace. Sabre also washed the towels and sheets, and made up the bed before we got home. The yard was pooper scooped and litter box was clean. Pets seemed well-cared for. When she had to leave town for several hours one day, she made sure to arrange for our neighbor take care of the pets. Additionally, I appreciated how she didn’t assume that it would be ok to bring her cat. When we found out she was going to keep her cat in a kennel during her stay here, we told her she could bring him which worked out fine. Overall, I would confidently recommend Sabre to watch your pets and house.

We were so pleased to meet John and Trisha! We had them come in a day before we left and enjoyed a nice meal with them and they got to meet Delilah (even if she didn’t seem interested) but she soon warmed up to them - except for the Cat Videos - she wasn’t very interested 🤣 When we returned our home was so clean (probably cleaner than we left it)! We got frequent pics and updates on our Princess! They also left us with a Progress Report with Delilah’s activities and what they did at the house before they left. Kathy and Ron arrived at our home with a most fantastical toy for our cats and a giant apple pie. Need I say more? They are very experienced sitters and brought personal items that they prefer. We knew we were leaving out cats in good hands. A large part of their 'job' was hand watering our garden and Ron took that in stride. Everything is thriving. Our cats are usually distant with new people but we received photos of them keeping Kathy and Ron company in various situations which was reassuring. They clearly won our cats over. Although Ron and Kathy had a ferry to catch on their last day, they took time to wash their linens and hang them on the clothesline. They also left us a gorgeous plant for our garden. We would very much like to have them back for a longer sit if possible.

Ann Marie was an excellent house sitter who went above and beyond. She flew in a day early and stayed at a local hotel so we she could meet my cat and get the keys before my early flight the next morning. When I returned, she and Tryke were best friends and the house was immaculate. She even washed the sheets and towels, and remade the bed. I strongly recommend Ann Marie for any future sits!

Greetings Pet People, I am a bit late leaving my review for Kristine who is local to us and has taken care of our kitties Max and Luis a few times this year. After COVID-19 was announced in March, our travel plans came to an abrupt halt. We had to cancel a lot of trips we had planned but decided that it was safe to go camping a couple of times this summer. We called on Kristine as one of our favorite sitters on this site. We discussed safety protocols and agreed to cleaning that we would do to leave the house safe for her to enter. She shared protocols that she had taken with other homeowners and had sound processes to make us feel safe leaving our cats and our home in her care. She even purchased batteries for our automatic cat feeder when it failed to let one of our confused kitties to eat. Kristine is a smart, humorous and a thoughtful person. I would not hesitate to recommend her for your sit. She truly loves animals and taking care of your home. Highly recommended! Thanks Kristine!

Tonya was great and filled in after our other sitter had to cancel. She was very self sufficient and navigated acclimating herself to everything since she arrived after we left. She gave thoughtful updates on my cat and I could tell she really enjoyed her, so that means the world to me! She left the place immaculate and we will certainly have Tonya back!
