Gelli Kennels were absolutely fantastic. Molly and Fred didn't even fuss us when leaving, that's how you just know that they enjoyed. Incredibly well priced too! Highly recommended and will definitely use Gelli Kennels again!

We bought our puppy from Ron and Rosie in October 2020 and he is perfect. Ron and Rosie were on hand at every opportunity to offer advice and guidance and were fantastic to work with. They put us at ease at a difficult time (Covid restrictions etc) and made us feel very welcome on both occasions that we were able to visit Gelli Kennels to meet and pick up the pup. Premises were warm, welcoming and well maintained and we were delighted to meet both Mum and Dad to our little puppy. Both gorgeous Mini Schnauzers, lovely temperament and well looked after. Very happy with service given, would fully recommend.

Our golden retriever Honey spent 5 nights here. She's normally nervous with strangers, but was quite happy to be led off to a kennel. It made us feel reasonably happy leaving her, as she's only ever been in kennels 3 times before in her 9yrs. She's on medication for spondylitis and this was administered to her while we were away. No hesitation to use Gelli Kennels if needed again.

My 14 mnth old Labrador Tau, spent 8 days at the kennels. We were very nervous about leaving him for the first time. We really didn't need to worry. The owners were very friendly and put our minds at rest. I will definitely take Tau there again. He looked amazing when we collected him.

Had a lovely puppy from Ron & Rosie at Gelli Kennels. She is such a lovely puppy so well behaved & loving. Ron & Rosie have been so professional throughout & weeks after collecting the puppy they was still happy to speak for advice & see how she was doing. Highly recommend Gelli Kennels, the way our puppy is a true credit to Ron & Rosie.

Ollie our boxer spent 9 nights at Gelli kennels and can highly recommend it. Owners were very friendly and Ollie obviously enjoyed himself there as he looked healthy and had even put some weight on. Thankyou very much we will definitely use again.

The kennels have now been taken over by a lovely couple who are much better than the last family and really care for the animals. Just to clarify the previous comment I wrote was for the previous owners. The new owners are amazing with the animals, such kind people. I wouldn't have any concerns about leaving my dogs in their care.

I cannot thank Neil and the team enough for the fantastic care and attention they provided for Molly and lady last week. From the fantastic grounds to the clear love of dogs thus is by far the best kennels we have ever used. Lady us normally quite a nervous dog and the photos and videos posted shows she had a fantastic time and we had no need to worry at all. Neil even messaged me with update which was such a lovely personal touch. Molly and lady loved their stay thank you all.

We were extremely fortunate to get a space for our beagle, Casi, whilst we went on holiday. An initial meet and greet of the lodge and the owners put us right at ease. The facilities were of a very high standards and we could see that Casi loved playing in the woods, indoor turf and outdoor areas. It was important for us that Casi had the opportunity to socialise and run around with other dogs at the lodge. We could see from the daily Facebook posts that Casi had a lot of fun playing with the other lodgers which put us at ease to enjoy our holiday as much as she did! Diolch Neil and the rest of the team at the Luxury Dog Lodge, we’ll definitely bring Casi back!

Fantastic kennels. My two pups stayed there for a few days last week, their first time staying away. One is very excitable whilst the other is very nervous so I was a little anxious. Neil and the team were fantastic with them and they has a wonderful time. They were completely shattered coming home and having seen them on the videos on Facebook I can see why, they did nothing but play whilst outside. Would highly recommend Luxury Dog Lodge to anyone looking for a safe friendly place to board their dogs.

Had a recent visit to view the Kennels and meet Neil, fantastic set up. Neil has got such a vast knowledge of dogs and a fantastic way about him, loved how he was with my boys, they are booked in for our forthcoming holiday. This place is so well set out and the dogs truly are spoiled for space and all round care.i am totally confident leaving my boys with Neil and his staff

I was lucky enough to get Vernon looked after by Neil and the team at very short notice. He was extremely well looked after and I can't praise them highly enough. Vernon is already looking forward to his next stay Vernon says thank you.

We put our puppy Peggy on Luxury Dog Lodge for a week as we were going to Lapland. She had a great time. Lots of dogs to socialise with, which was what she needed. Neil posts videos of the dogs regularly so we could see her having fun. We will use Luxury Dog Lodge again when we holiday with peace of mind that she’s being well cared for. Amazing kennels, highly recommend. We have two large dogs that are like children to us, unless we found Luxury Dog Lodge we would not be going on holiday. Neil is extremely friendly and you can tell he loves the dogs. We get regular pupdates from the Facebook page and can see the boys enjoying themselves. Compared to kennels in the past they are hardly excited when we collect them which shows how much they enjoy their time away! A holiday or them as well as you!! As others have said, unless they can go into Luxury dog lodge then we wont go away! 5 Star.

Just been to visit this place. What a lovely guy Neil is and "luxury" says it all. It's immaculate . Plenty of room for the dogs with fields they can run loose. I can see how this place is constantly full. Luckily we could book Toby in as we are going away in November. Thank you Neil for you time. Looking forward to seeing you soon. Tracey

This is an a fantastic place where they care about the well-being of your pets. I was reluctant to leave our dogs anywhere but Neil and his team did everything to reassure us and kept us updated regularly. The dogs came back happy and I would have no hesitation recommending this to other reluctant dog owners, they really do care about your dogs 😊

Our boy had an amazing time with Neil in Luxury Dog Lodge so much so he didn't want to leave haha thank you so much again for looking after him whilst we were away loved seeing all the videos even if linc was like a rocket most of the time haha but will definitely use luxury dog lodge again in the future Neil was very friendly and welcoming and put us at ease at the very first time of meeting him. Linc was well looked after and he absolutely loved it . See you again soon 😀.

Janine is so welcoming and friendly. Our dog Barney went to stay with her whilst we went away. He had not stayed before and is quite a clingy dog. When we arrived, Janine came out and welcomed us and greeted Barney by name and took him and us into her home to show us around so that we could see where he was staying. We went away with peace of mind that he was being well looked after. During the visit, Janine let us know how he was doing which was good. On return Janine handed over Barney, taking time to tell us how he had been and not just rushing us off. Thank you Janine…. We will be back soon xxx

Janine is just wonderful we needed a home boarder for our 10 year old black Labrador whilst we went on holiday for a week and nothing was too much trouble we had regular updates throughout the week.. and although he was happy to have us home he was in no rush to leave!! would 100% recommend and will definitely use again in the future. thank you so much for taking such great care of Hendrix!

Janine, from cwtches and cuddles, was kind enough to take our dog on extremely short notice. Perfect from start to finish. We were let down by someone who was going to stay at our home with cookie. We were told about cwtches and cuddles by our friend. We phoned and talked to a lovely lady called janine We arranged everything with her and she made it very easy for us to be put at ease about our beauty. While we were away we were kept in touch via wats app with photos videos showing how cookie was looked after and integrating with the other dogs. It was a relief to see and watch our dog being v well cared for and looked after. When we collected cookie she was well groomed and smelled beautiful. Thank you janine for putting us at ease. This is the second time we have entrusted Alfie, our King Charles Cavlier spaniel, to the care of Janine. It was very obvious that he was pleased to see her again, and the videos she sent to us showed that he was very happy in the company of her and her own dogs. Janine has a gorgeous, secluded and safe garden, and we know that Alfie was well walked and fed (a King Charles lives for food!). Thank you, we were able to relax, confident that Alfie was in the very best possible care. We will leave him with you again - he would never forgive us if we did not.

My dog has never stayed away from home ever !! When I met janine I could see that she is a perfect dog lover . My little milo was besotted with her . She made our holiday and little holiday extra special. I Will highly recommend CWTCHES & CUDDLES . It is what it says in the title . Home from home ! . My dog buddy has just returned from a 10 night stay and what an amazing experience it has been for myself and buddy. A real home from home where buddy was treated like family. The regular updates and pictures made leaving buddy so much easier knowing he was happy, walked, cwtched and loved. Pet Pals R US are a wonderful dog walking/boarding service. It gives your much loved pets a home from home experience when you're away. Our dog Poppy loves going there. She is so well cared for and spoilt for attention, (which Richie knows well) there have been times she's loved being there so much , she's been reluctant to come back with us, which for me that's a wonderful sign of great care and attention our dog Poppy gets while with Richie and his family. Poppy is given opportunities to socialise with other days, well exercised and her routine is maintained the same from our home. Which makes it far easier, as Poppy is relaxed and feels at home while away from us. We feel that is important to us. We couldn't ask for better and will continue to use this service as it's so beneficial for Poppy.

Pet Pals R Us have looked after our Labrador a number of times, from a weekend to a period of a fortnight. Richie and his family are amazing with her, regularly updating us with photos and videos when we’re away - whether it’s a walk around the village or a day out at the beach & swimming in the sea. Our dog is cared for so well and becomes part of their family when she stays with them, which we love. We wouldn’t take our dog anywhere else.

I recommend PetpalsRUS 100%. Lucy has stayed there several times since October, after they were recommended by a friend whose dog had already stayed there. Lucy is there again as I am writing this review, no doubt cwtching on the sofa with the family and any other dogs there! Richie takes excellent care of her and she clearly loves going there. He obviously treats each dog as an individual and it’s a relief to know your dog is in such good hands while you are away or working.

Pet Pals r us are the best ever 🐕 care .. our beautiful Jac has had a wonderful few times with Aunty's Stacey and Uncle Richie .. spoilt rotten with them. Jac has enjoyed overnight stays also week holiday with Aunty's Stacey and Uncle Richie and their lovely children, who treated him like their own

Lola had the best time staying here, it was the first time for us to leave her and she settled in quickly. Richie also saved the day as we had been let down by the person who was going to have Lola and he made sure that she had a place with them and settled well. We also had lots of updates during her stay to put our mind at rest. Thank you 😊 💓

Such a warm welcome every time, where I know he is very well cared for and loved to bits by the whole family. He certainly has the home from home experience every time he’s with Richie and his family. I’m always sent videos, photos and updates throughout Tedi’s stays. Tedi absolutely loves going there and if he’s happy then I’m happy 😜. Wouldn’t dream of leaving him anywhere else now. Diolch 😘

Sarah looked after our dogs and our home wonderfully. She came to meet and spend time with our dogs before 'pet sitting' whilst we were away. She is extremely professional and also so kind and attentive with our dogs. Our two whippets have just spent four days at Hound Minded Sighthound Hotel and I can honestly say it was a fantastic experience (for the dogs and us!) We were really anxious beforehand about having to board them for the first time ever, but Jon and Minty's genuine care and dedication really shone through from the minute we dropped them off. They took time to understand the dogs needs and preferences and it was clear that they had lots of experience with sighthounds which immediately put our minds at ease. We received daily updates and photos which was a lovely touch and so reassuring for us. It was clear that the dogs weren't missing us one bit! They had regular, varied walks and it was so great to see how much they were enjoying their stay. Jon and Minty's commitment to keeping us informed really allowed us to enjoy our time away without worrying about the dogs too much at all. We couldn't be happier with the service provided. Our dogs were so happy during their stay and it was such a positive, stress-free experience. We can't recommend Hound Minded Sighhound Hotel any more highly to any sighthound owner looking for an exceptional, safe and caring environment for their dog. Thank you so much for treating Marvin and Marilyn like family (and for sharing your hammock, rocking chair and bed with them!) They can't wait for their next holiday with you already! ❤️

Minty and Jon were absolutely fab with our two boys. One of our dogs can be anxious around new people but he took to them straight away which gave us reassurance they would be well looked after. Other reviews have said it’s a home from home for sighthounds and it really is. They take time before the stay to understand your dogs routine and any little quirks they may have. They provided us with lots of lovely updates of walks and sofa cuddles. We would definitely use them again in the future.

The most perfect place to leave your hound, we went away on holiday knowing Sammy was content and safe having his own perfect little trip snoozing with his new friend. Cannot recommend Hound Minded enough !!

Our Greyhound always has a fantastic time at Hound Minded. Minty & Jon take such good care of her, she's always reluctant to come home! It's so reassuring to know we can relax on our holiday knowing she's having a lovely time.

Never been so happy to leave my girl anywhere! Dotty is a really nervous girl, so I'm really anxious about leaving her anywhere, but from the off, Jon and Minty make you feel so comfortable and that they ways have your dog's best interests at heart. They make sure they meet you first, to make sure your dog is ok with theirs and that they're a good fit, they take on board everything you say about your dog's wants and needs and particular quirks and foibles, and they take into account the fact that sometimes, a strange house and strange people has an effect on your dog's anxiety and reactions, so they adjunct routines accordingly (always with the best of communication) to make sure your dog has the most comfortable and amazing time without you. I cannot recommend them enough; I know my dog is... Quirky! And anxious, and very fussy with her food and with the company she keeps, sometimes, and Jon and Minty have really gone out of their way to make sure she has the best of times with them, and I'm so, so grateful. They're worth their weight in gold, it's literally home from home, probably even better, because Dotty wasn't as thrilled as I imagined her to be when I went to pick her up 😂 Massive thanks to Hound Minded Sighthound Hotel. And for offering a taxi service next time, too. Amazing, they truly love the hounds ❤️

Very friendly, caring, and experienced hound lovers - my whippet cross had a wonderful holiday with Minty and Jon and their own hounds. He enjoyed long walks, playtime in the garden and lots of snuggles on the sofa. Sighthound paradise :-)

Hound Minded are extremely experienced and trusted professionals. They have looked after our dogs on a number of occasions and have never let us down. Their in-depth knowledge of the needs and behaviours of our lurchers has meant that they were able to look after both our dogs who have complex behavioural issues. We met Jonathan through a rescue organisation and so we knew we could trust him with our dogs explicitly. The boys always enjoyed and came back exhausted and happy. We were kept up to date with pictures and messages which put our anxieties at bay. They are fairly priced and communication was quick.

What a wonderful find it was when I spotted Hound Minded when looking for dog carers for my much cherished whippets. They go from home to home (in their opinion home to better home!). Exceptionally caring service; both Minty and Jon are born dog whisperers.. Highly recommended

Great guy who takes care of our little pup twice a week. The trust was immediately right at the first meeting so we went ahead and booked Marcus in there and then. We get regular photos and videos on the days that he comes to visit which makes us feel at ease knowing that our dog is in good hands whilst we're at work. We think that Marcus is communicative and professional and most importantly, Archie the puppy really likes him too.... and his laces
