I am a trustworthy and responsible animal lover and travel enthusiast!
Laura is by far the best housesitter/petsitter we have ever had! She was great with Oliver, easily managed his meal routines, and made sure to shower him with lots of love and snuggles while we were away. He has continued to look for her after she left — not something that happens often with him! Laura left our home even cleaner than when she arrived, and did an amazing job going above and beyond in keeping our home in great shape. She even went out and bought toys for both our dogs before leaving! I would happily have Laura watch Oliver and our home again because I know they will be both in excellent hands.

Experienced World Travelers and AMAZING pet lovers!
Vivian was a great communicator and left the house so tidy we barely noticed anyone had been in it. She was self-sufficient throughout the process. We’d be happy to welcome her back.

Trustworthy, dependable, & caring family of 6. We will spoil your furry family!
The Whaleys were awesome and would be invited back into our home at anytime! The house was cleaner than we left it, Rudy was happy and well care for by their family, and their updates to us were reassuring that all was well on the home front. To top it off they left us a parting gift of a candle for the kitchen. Thank you Jill and Jeremy!

Marilynne & Alan
This was the 2nd time Alan and Marilynne watched my cats for me, and I knew Sylvie and Monet would be in great hands because Alan and Marilynne had been so great the first time! They sent updates and pictures of the cats cuddling with them, and are so friendly they even had dinner with my neighbors one night! Another thing that stood out was how great they were when my cat got sick the night before/morning I left for my trip. I was so worried about the timing, but they assured me they were comfortable with anything they needed to do to help her- they went and got meds for her, kept me updated, and even called the vet when she got sick again. I've been home for several days, but I got a text from them today asking how Sylvie's doing now. These are very kind and caring people, totally trustworthy and do a great job!

Reliable * Dependable * Trustworthy
Nikki arrived early for her sit so we had a few hours to meet her and introduce her to our dog Olive. She was very pleasant and we totally felt comfortable that she was the right choice for our vacation. Upon returning home our home was in very clean shape, the bedding was washed and there was a detailed note and vase of flowers that she had left for us. We highly recommend Nikki for your pet sitting and we will certainly reach out to her next time we need a sit as well. Thank You Nikki!

Kayla was super responsive from the start. It actually went so easy that I was a bit concerned at the beginning 😅 but no, she’s just great. Highly recommend Kayla!

Responsible, Reliable, and Trustworthy - Ready to care for your home and pet!
This is the 2nd time Rachelle has stayed for a pet sit. I can’t say enough good things about her and our experience! She’s truly a gem of a human being, so great with communicating with us, checked in daily while we were gone and treated our house as her own. Left our home in perfect condition and our pups love her! She’s very hands on with walking the dogs, being playful with them and sends lots of videos and pictures. We adore Rachelle and are so thankful and grateful we found her! ❤️ She will be first on our list anytime we need a pet sitter! Highly recommended 😊

Responsible, intelligent, kind and sensible animal lover.
It was my first experience as house/ cat owner, and I’m so happy it went so well! Nanci took great care of the kittens and the house, she kept me informed and sent pictures regularly. I found this first experience very easy, thanks to her. She is very reliable and very easy to communicate with.

Mature, responsible, life-long pet owner who wants to give you peace of mind!
Our girls loved Donna! Donna was great with the girls while we were gone. She let us know everyday that they were doing well and house was just as clean as when we left.
Julia was an amazing house sitter and dog sitter! She sent me photos and updates every day, she took my pup Jordan on long walks and gave him the love, care, and patience that he needs. She was so easy and comfortable to communicate with and she left the house so clean and tidy for when I came back. Definitely recommend her!!!
I was very happy with the love and affection that was very apparent when Travis and Shannon met the pups. I received one picture on my trip and was happy to see Shannon cuddled under a doggie pile. Nothing like seeing your dogs being loved by others as their own. Every thing was in its place when I return which was nice. I also received a welcome home gift handmade by them which was very lovely and made my day. I highly recommend them as trustworthy and reliable pet sitters to anyone.
From her promptness to schedule a pre-sit call to her truly thorough tidying of our house, Stella was an amazing housesitter from start to finish!! She read all the info we put together ahead of time, and asked for clarification on just a few things which made us confident that the pup and the house were in good shape :) Stella was really gracious when we admitted to not having a coffee pot, and handling things calmly when there was an incident with street parking. Maybe most importantly though our dog Luke was calm when we came home. I think if future sitters are clear in their expectations around frequency of communication/photos and the dogs needs then Stella is the perfect person to exceed your expectations!
David was a great sitter for our dog! It was just him for this sit. He was very communicative before, during, and after the stay. He visited the apartment before we left to meet our dog and talk with us, and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and confident that our dog was in good hands. He sent us updates throughout the stay, and left the apartment in great condition. While our dog is on the older side, he can still be a handful at times, but David didn’t seem to have any problems. Would definitely recommend David for any future sit!
This is our second time with Jamie and she’s really a great sitter for our dogs . She’s a trusted person, smart. You can leave her your house and pets. Can’t wait to have Jaimie back next summer
Cristina is simply the best house/pet sitter that we have ever had. She is responsible and dependable and an experienced dog owner. Our Wheaten, Bridie, adores her and misses her when she leaves.
Robyn was a great pet sitter and house sitter. She went way over and beyond my expectations!!!! She sent a photo of her and my dogs and they were looking at her like they were in love. And my cats are not very friendly, but she won them over also. I would highly recommend Robyn as a pet sitter and house sitter. She is a very sweet lady. I would love to have her watch my babies again and again.
Shannon and Travis stepped up at the last minute when an earlier sitter canceled. Shannon and Travis took care our our large brood of animals for two weeks while we were out of the country over the Christmas holiday. They kept us informed about what was happening with the animals and our home. Our dog Pepper doesn’t like most people, but loved Travis and Shannon immediately. I would not hesitate to welcome Shannon and Travis back for another sit. They are very honest and friendly people. Their dog Dime is also awesome.
Stephanie, Brian and baby Martin took fabulous care of our home and pets for two weeks. From the outset, communication was quick, smooth and friendly and it was clear that both Stephanie and Brian are reliable, professional and warm sitters who take all the various elements of a sit seriously. They kept us up to date with photos and messages, dealt proactively and competently with any unexpected issues that popped up, and most importantly showered our dogs and gerbils with attention and care throughout the time we were away. We returned to a spotlessly clean home (with thoughtful touches of fresh milk, bacon and bread waiting for us) and happy, settled pets. In short, we would recommend Stephanie and Brian to anyone looking for reliable, attentive and proactive sitters for their pets and home. We would be delighted to welcome them back for another sit, should they ever find themselves in the area again.
I cannot thank Jenny and Geoff enough for stepping in at the last minute after the original sitter cancelled. They are a great couple, friendly , organised and extremely capable. Also they LOVE animals. My dog and cat have clearly been given a great deal of care and attention in my absence. Jenny kept in touch with notes and lovely photos, Geoff cut my grass and I came home to a spotlessly sparkling house ! Thank you so much! Jenny and Geoff are welcome back anytime and I would not hesitate to recommend them as excellent sitters.

We’ve been using this kennel for about 1 1/2 years and our dogs seem to love it. The staff communicates well and are responsive to our dog’s needs. We’re going to try doggy daycare next for our young doodle. When we have to go out of town, it’s comforting to know that our dogs will be taken care of well!
I really don't want to write this review because I want to keep the best kept secret of dog boarding in Cincy to myself. Alas, A Dogs Life is too good of a facility and people and cost to not let other people know. I've been taking my two large dogs here for over a year, and they are always happy when they get there and happy when they leave. The staff pays attention to detail, especially when we started boarding our nervous second dog, they watched over him the whole time. In addition the staff is responsive, flexible on availability and have SUNDAY pick up! It's not a fancy dog spa facility, but my dogs do not need a TV, or a spa. They need an attentive staff who care for the animals every day and that is what Dawn and her team do. I highly recommend!
A Dog’s Life is incredible! Dawn, the owner loved what she does and you can tell her staff feel the same. They are so kind and they are wonderful with all the dogs. With a pup that has a lot of energy, A Dog’s Life has been an a absolute blessing. It’s a great feeling to drop her off and know she’s going to have a dog’s best day!
I should have known better than to pick the cheapest daycare in the area but all the good reviews had me hopeful. When I started taking Buddy earlier this year we had no issues. He’s a high energy boy but very dog/people friendly and has completed obedience class. One day a worker told me he was “a big problem” and “always causing fights to break out”. They assured me however that he was not aggressive, just “too playful.” This was the first I heard of any problem and it sounded like it was withheld from me for a while. The next time I picked him up a different worker told me he just has a problem with one dog that he’s “infatuated with”. I was getting 2 different stories. They suggested a trainer and socializing him at dog parks more. This didn’t sound like my dog, but I believed them and agreed to their suggestions. I continued to see no bad behavior when I took him to dog parks and the trainer I used also saw no problems and hinted that the workers just don’t know how to handle him and redirect him. A few weeks later I decided to bring him back. Within 1 hour of drop off I got a call I needed to pick him up now. They said “he’s playing too much” and the dogs he’s playing with are “not playful and are picky” I asked why he’s being punished for playing too much (is that not one of the main purposes of daycare?) and why it’s his fault these dogs aren’t playful. I wasn’t given a real answer but went to pick him up. When I got there I was not determined to argue, as I can’t prove to them what I know to be true, that’s he’s a good dog who would do well at any other daycare in town. I just asked if I would be refunded for the day as he was there for less than an hour. The owner Dawn said no because they “worked too hard in that hour” I then asked if they could just charge for a half day (per their policy this is a stay less than 5 hrs). They still said no. I was shocked. At this point they were just being spiteful. A few days later I did get a full refund so I don’t know why they acted so rude and unreasonable. I truly believe these workers are lazy and incapable of handling a high energy dog. I think Dawn is taking the side of the other dogs who’ve been there longer over my dog although he did nothing wrong. They apparently don’t have a way to separate high energy and low energy dogs and should be more upfront about their limitations at the beginning. They also don’t have cameras so who knows what is really going on there. I’m so glad my boy will never again have to step foot in a place where he is not loved or accepted. I would not recommend bringing your dog here.
My doodle and I love A Dog's Life. They were so accommodating when we moved to Cincy 3 months ago. I can tell they watch and take care of my baby and make sure he is happy when he stays with them. I get a report anytime I ask with details of what he has done and who he has played with - which I love!!! Our move was difficult for my pup and they made sure his transition was as smooth as possible. He now gets super excited anytime I tell him we are going. It's super clean and friendly and all the employees are friendly and inviting. We are so glad we found "A Dogs Life"!!!!
We love taking our baby here! It is very obvious the whole team loves and cares for our pup like she is one of their own! As soon as I walk in, Stella runs to whomever is working with such excitement!
There is no other place we would take our dogs! They love daycare and the employees really care about the experience every dog has. It is not the most beautiful of entries, but don’t let that fool you. Our girls have tried, nearly, every boarding and daycare facility on the east side. A Dog’s Life is the only place they forget about me and run in to.
I left my dog for boarding for the first time ever this week. This place was a great choice. Booking her was easy, and the girl was super sweet and genuine. It shows that they love dogs. And I could tell my girl had a good time when I picked her up! If I am ever back in an office, I will consider day care for sure and I wouldn't hesitate to board here again.
This is the best daycare! Dawn and her staff love the dogs and treat them like family. It is such a comfort knowing my dog is in good hands here. I also use them for boarding and haven't had a moment's worry leaving my dog overnight here.
Dawn and her staff are fantastic. We have run the gamut on dog daycares over the past decade and couldn't be happier with A Dogs Life. Our Bobo went to daycare there every Monday until his recent passing. We couldn't even mention the word "daycare" without him crying at the door, wanting to go be with his friends. We recommend them for both daycare and boarding. They took great care of our older girl who only did boarding there. We are so thankful for all of them and their sincere care for all the dogs!
Affordable and local canine show dog trainer... Our 2-year-old, 75 lb, mixed breed, rescue had boundary and anxiety issues... After 4 days with Blue Dog K9, Daycare/Training, there's already a definite change in his disposition and he's much easier to handle. Max is more attentive to our authority and commands. I think the play time interactions with the other large breed dogs was very beneficial to Max's confidence and socialization. We will be taking Max back for probably 2 day care stays/training a week as follow up and reinforcement.
Bobby has been amazing with my Bear. Bear is a very sweet but very high strung pittie. After one session at Blue Dog k9 care- Bear was significantly calmer and more content than ever before. I have never trusted anybody with Bear without me nearby. Bobby was very reassuring and made me comfortable that she would be ok. Bobby is friendly and makes scheduling easy. He helps her and, more importantly, me with leash training as well as smart recommendations regarding leash options, feeding habits, car restraints etc. Bobby cares about his dogs and I feel reassured knowing Bear is in his care!
Bobby is amazing with our dogs. We have two rescue pups who love going to day care 5 days a week. They have been with Bobby for almost a year and their behavior has improved as a result. Bobby is great at understanding what dogs need and taking care of them. Both our dogs have had a history of abuse and neither have reacted poorly to anything he has done. It's clear that he genuinely cares about what is best for your dog. There are a few reviewers saying that he is rude/unprofessional. I've never experienced this. Bobby is much more focused on the dogs than the pet parents, and that's exactly what I would want. He is reliable, flexible, and very accommodating. He is casual, and always texts to communicate. He is fast to respond and will schedule your drop-off and pick-up times with you to make sure it works for his schedule and yours.
My dog loves going to daycare at Blue Dog. I have been taking him here for several months after he developed separation anxiety, and I can tell that he is comfortable and always has fun here. Bobby runs a great facility and it is obvious he cares for all of his dogs. Highly recommend!
Our experience with Blue Dog has been amazing. Bobby saved the day in assisting us with a sitter on such short notice. The information he gave us was clear and concise which, in turn, made the process that much easier for us. To add, since it was our first time ever leaving our Charlie in the care of someone else, we weren’t sure how we would feel. Once we stepped into Blue Dog K9 Care we felt relieved and could tell he was in great hands. Definitely looking forward to doing business with them in the future!
Bobby is amazing! He does an awesome job looking after my pup and is very responsive. I'm new to the area, but he is my go to pet sitter now. My puppy also seems very happy and calm when he returns. I would 10/10 recommend Blue Dog K9 care in Cincinnati
I don't trust a lot of people to take care of my pups, but Bobby is one of the ones I completely trust taking my dogs to when I go out of town. He treats my dogs like his own and takes very good care of them. He really knows what he is doing and has helped out on the obedience side of things of well. I highly recommend Blue Dog K9 Care.
I will recommend Blue Dog to anyone in need of care for their dog. My dog has separation anxiety and I was really hesitant to leave him for an extended period of time. Blue Dog was incredibly accommodating of my special requests and gave him his supplements with no added charge. Additionally, my travel plans changed several times and the owner was very flexible with that as well. My dog came home happy and tired from all the playing he did while he was staying at Blue Dog. It was a great experience for both my dog and I, the treatment was much more personal than what I would’ve received at another dog care facility. Thank you Bobby! Beau and I appreciate everything you did for us.
Bobby is amazing! We went in for a meet and greet yesterday, and he trimmed my dog's nails. This is a huge victory. Many groomers and her vet have failed to complete this task. She hates having her nails trimmed. Bobby is truly a dog whisperer! He was great with our dog, and we look forward to her upcoming boarding stay with Blue Dog.
Great boarding facility! Was coming into Cincinnati for a wedding and bringing our German Shepherd..called the facility a week ahead to book and the owner was super friendly. He asked multiple questions about our dog and got our vet information. Owners very knowledgeable and familiar with all breeds. Upon arrival, the facility was very clean and a great layout. There was very large kennels for each dog, large play areas, and nice outside turfed area. Absolutely recommended!
Our dog Oliver is always well taken care of are of while at Best Friends. He comes home well bathed and happy. Kudos to the ate staff! Thanks for providing a safe place for Oliver when we need him to be boarded.
We having been sending our pets for boarding and care to Best Friends Pet Hotel for years now. The staff is awesome, our dog loves it there and we always have peace of mind when we can't take our four-legged roommate with us somewhere. I cannot recommend more highly their services!
Best Friends- Cincinnati has been great! Our Rottie is nervous, actually scared of new people, but he loves his visits to Best Friends! We used to have to drag him out of the car to go inside and he now jumps right out and heads straight to the door. They treat him with compassion and give him space when needed, which he doesn’t anymore. He loves his play time with the other dogs and comes home wiped out! We ask for a bath on his pick-up dates and he comes homes smelling great.
Our appreciation for Best Friends is next to impossible to overstate. We were apprehensive about how our 5yo rescue pup would do in dog daycare because he is not fond of other people or dogs when we are around. But, we were in need of help because we receive medical care out of town and had a need for extended care for our dog. The team at Best Friends reassured us, gave him time and got him expertly socialized and secure. We are so grateful to the whole wonderful team at Best Friends!
Abby did Amazing Job looking after Vader in Outdoor Camp with the big dogs. It was only his second day at dog daycare ever. Erica , Abby and the staff is very good and attentive with each dog and there needs at daycare. I'm glad that this daycare was recommended to us for him. They Are doing an Awesome Job.
My dogs Molly and Maggie love to come they get so excited! They are always taken good care Of and are happy when we pick them up. They do a great job!
My pup has been going to Best Friends since she was 4 months old in the midst of the 2020 pandemic. Four years later, she is a regular at camp. They truly care about all of the fur babies in their care. They are truly THE BEST EVER!!
We have used Best Friends for years! I cannot recommend them enough! They care about our dogs like they are their own family. They remember their names. Having cameras is awesome, you can see your pups during the day when you miss them.
I recently went on vacation and they kept my two dogs for about a week. My bully mix is very unsure and anxious around dogs. The staff at Best Friends Pet Hotel made sure that he was comfortable and he was even introduced to camp and loved it!! The were very understanding and took great care of my dogs very knowledgeable about dogs and helped me with some tips and tricks. 10/10 would 100% recommend it’s a wonderful boarding and day camp facility.
Absolutely love this place! The team is wonderful and spoil my kiddos just like I would at home. The boys especially enjoy having positive interactions with the other dogs. Best Friends has different daycare events and photo ops for the kids and there's grooming! BONUS points - you get a cool report card after boarding! Thanks for always loving my furbabies. They LOVE you!
I have been taking my little guy, Hendrix, to Pet Life in Cincy for about 8 months now and he LOVES it. Maria is so responsive and she posts and sends pictures of your pup all day while they are playing. She walks them, takes them to the park, and is always planning special little outings for them. Maria loves on Hendrix like he is her own dog and I can tell that they have a special bond. If you are considering sending your pup to daycare this is the perfect place! Look no further.
There is no one I trust more with my dog than Maria! We have been sending Charlie to Pet Life for almost two years. He was initially a clingy, shy rescue dog who just liked to sit on laps, but now Charlie runs right into Maria’s without looking back. And he has become is so playful and energetic with the other dogs - something we’ve never seen before! Maria is constantly sending updates throughout daycare and boarding, going on park adventures, and taking a lot of cute photo shoots. All the dogs are treated like her own!
Maria treats her daycare dogs like just like they are her own! She sends constant updates throughout the day, pictures of adventures and playtime, and a daily summary of each puppy’s day with her. Maria helps to reinforce positive behavior’s with her daycare pups, and is a safe place where dogs can feel relaxed and enjoy a stress-free day. Our pup loves Maria and her days spent at Pet Life in Cincy!
Maria is the BEST! Our dog, Izzy, has been going to Pet Life In Cincy for several months. She absolutely loves it, so do we! I have such peace of mind when our dog is with her. I know she’s getting the best care. We love the updates and pictures she provides during the day. Maria tailors the day to meet each dogs needs. I highly recommend Maria and her service. 🐾
Maria is an excellent and very reliable sitter. She takes care of our fur babies like they're her own. She sends updates and pictures throughout the day so that we can have peace of mind, and know how much fun they're having. Maria is really good at making sure that our pups get plenty of exercise, cuddles, nap time, and love. Our boys really love spending time with her and we only trust her to take care of our boys.
If you are looking for a pet sitter this is the one for you. Pet Life in Cincy provides the peace of mind and professionalism to help us feel at ease while being at work or on trips away. She allows our fur baby to enjoy being in a home environment where she gets love, comfort, care and snuggles as if she was home. I can now relax at work knowing my girl is in the best hands. I am kept up to date throughout the day with photos and videos. Pet Life in Cincy takes the best to photos and I enjoy truly enjoy looking at the other fur babies photos on her social media. She is attentive to all of their needs and my Mollie looks forward to her visits. I really can’t say enough good things about Pet Life in Cincy. María always delivers the most compassionate care. Thank you for always being the best and for loving my fur baby! We are forever grateful!
This is truly the best doggy daycare in Cincinnati! I always know my dog is safe and loved when she is with Maria. Maria provides excellent care to her daycare pups and provides constant updates on their day. Highly recommend!
My puppy was out of control because he had way too much energy! I started taking him 2-3 times a week for doggy day care and he is a completely different dog! The best part is knowing that he is being cared and receiving the same love he gets from me while he's there! I highly recommend!!
Holly and her crew was real good with our dogs they took great care of them like there own. Price was reasonable also . My shibas loved visiting. Thank you Ruff House. They really care for your Family 😊 …
In all fairness, I did not use the services here. But I can speak to the character of the owner. She is very involved in local pet rescue
Holly and Ruff House took such great care of my dog Max. Each picture he looked very happy. Can’t thank them enough for taking such good care of my pup.
Very happy to recommend the groomers at Ruff House! Our border doodle is skittish of new humans but they are calm and caring. They do a great job!
Ruff House is awesome! They take wonderful care of my pet and the groomers are fantastic!
So happy to have found this place. My 2 dogs loved staying for boarding over Thanksgiving week. Felt sad leaving them during the holiday but the staff made sure to give them extra special love. They have a Facebook page and post pictures frequently. It was great seeing my dogs on their page and happy. My senior dog was even playing and enjoying his time there. My foster was hesitant at first but ended up not wanting to leave. They were attententive to her as she was a foster and had gone through some trauma before. Great place to send your loved fur babies! The price is also very, very reasonable.
Our dogs LOVE it! They attend several days a week and are always so excited to get in the car for daycare and weekend sleep-overs. Holly and staff are exceptional! We love being part of the Ruff House family!
My dog loves to go to daycare here. I take her Ruff House a couple times a month when I have to go into the office. It is reasonably priced and I will be using them for boarding and I travel. I would recommend it for any dog that loves to socialize.
We had a GREAT experience here! We have been looking for a groomer for our puppy and could not have loved it more! When I called to get more info they were so friendly on the phone and answered all my questions. The lady at the front desk even had the groomer call me personally to go over things more! They were very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about grooming and my specific dogs breed and what she needed! Our pup was done in a reasonable time and the price was the best rate around! Highly recommend Olivia, she was the groomer we used and I can’t say enough good things! If you’re hesitant, don’t be they did great!! Already booked our next visit.
We love Dogtown and so does my pup Violet! It’s a relief knowing that my dog is being cared for by awesome staff while we’re away at work. Violet has made so many friends and enjoys her time there. I cannot say enough positive things about Dogtown and the people that work there, I feel so fortunate to have found them.
My dog loves Dogtown, and so do I!!! He is there 3 days a week and he drags me through the doors every single time! Having a place for him to get energy out and socialize is amazing. Plus knowing he is safe and well taken care of really eases your mind when you’re not with your pup!!!
I love Dogtown, and so does my dog Rosie! Rosie has a membership, and goes to daycare at least twice weekly, sometimes more. Every time I drop her off at daycare, she bolts through the door. My dog is very social, and Rosie loves to be around all the dogs and employees at Dogtown. I also exclusively board and groom Rosie at Dogtown. As long as I live in Cincinnati, Rosie will be a member at Dogtown West. I cannot recommend it enough!
Our pups love going to dog town. They get lots of attention and have so much fun when there. They are worn out from continuous playing. The friendly staff loves the pups like their own.
The most horrible experiences I ever had. We tried to give them chances so many times, but all they did just made us disappointed and upset. First time, One night my husband picked up our dog, any of employees there didn’t tell him my dog got a cut on her face. Until I got home, I figured out that. My husband called them next day, what the manager’s answer was “they forgot to tell us that night, but they actually wrote it down in the journal. This won’t happen again.” Ok, that’s fine. We tried to understand. But honestly, that’s their everyday work, how come they can forget? Not even professional about their service. Second time, we checked on the camera. Quite while I couldn’t see my dog. So we called. They said my dog was at the hallway, she didn’t want to go into the room and play with dogs. Actually it’s kinda scary if you can’t see your baby for some time. The last time, which totally ruined our trust to this team. From the camera, we saw our dog was put into a smaller cage compared to other bigger ones. She is a German shepherd, a big dog, when she was in the cage, she couldn’t even straight her back and stand up and barely turn her body around. We kept checking on her about an hour, finally we called. The manager said “from our angle maybe looks smaller, but actually it’s not.” When my husband asked the reason why they put her into the cage for so long, they said ”just give her space for nap, we only let her in like 15 mins, every dog have their turn.” You can see the pictures, the dog at the corner is my dog. Look how uncomfortable she was. And the pictures with their cages, smaller ones are on the chair, bigger ones close to the window. The sizes you can count by the floor tiles/squares. I think maybe they think I am blind or a fool, so they tried to convince me I was wrong. Well, anyway, maybe because the price is cheap, we only deserve this service quality. If you have no choice to accept this team for your daycare, don’t forget to check on camera as much as you can. My advice.
My dog peaches loves dogtown. She is always super sleepy when she comes home. The dog groomer Skylar is very nice and accommodating. I highly recommend bringing your dog here for daycare, boarding, and grooming.
Our family loves dog town and our sweet husky gets so excited when he knows we are heading there! The socializing he gets with other dogs has really helped him have the best SOCIAL SKILLS! Super important with big dogs. I love that we can check in on him throughout the day on live webcams too! He went today and is so tuckered out! Helps with his behavior at home too! I'm glad we found this place and HIGHLY recommend it!
Thank you DogTown for taking care of my fur babies 😊 I am recommending this place to my friends. I was totally comfortable leaving my little dogs for 5 days. The employees I had contact with are very kind individuals…loving all dogs! One of my dogs needed medication twice a day and they were more than willing to handle this. However, my chihuahua wouldn’t take her pill (in a pill pocket) from anyone other than me! I did get a phone call concerning this issue. They did manage to get her to take the pill one time! I was fine going to the facility in the AM and PM to give her the pill. They followed my feeding instructions perfectly. When I decide to go on a trip, I will definitely bring my fur babies to DogTown West!!!
Our dog has been going to Dogtown West three days a week for the last year. He loves it! As soon as I say it's a DogTown day, he bounds down the steps and leaps into the car. We were a bit anxious at first as he is a bit introverted, but the staff has been incredibly kind to him. My college-aged daughter enjoys watching him on the webcam. I highly recommend them!
I wish I had done more research 😔 the video and the waiver they make you sign..I thought was just a formality but as it turns out...there's a good reason. While on vacation, I called because I could not see her on any of the video monitors. The lady I talked to said they put her in a hallway because she was being noisy and keeping the other dogs awake. The second time I called.. she was literally being chased by two much bigger dogs and they were trying to mount her. She was CLEARLY PANICKING.. all the while the worker was on his cel phone. I asked the worker that I was speaking to if it is a requirement for the dogs to be spayed or neutered and she said yes. I asked for her to be moved to a room where she could rest. They did that. I have screenshots of her being mounted by a pitt..and pictures of the worker asleep. Oh and they must have forgot to tell me about the gashes on her stomach and leg that apparently bled at some point . I feel horrible.🥺 she won't be coming back.
Updated 2024: I have three cats that I board here. Each time has been as satisfactory as the first. Highly recommend! 2022: I have been boarding my cats here for four years, and have always felt relieved to have a place that takes such good care of them! The cat room is kept apart from the dogs with a windowed closed door. Each kitty condo has room for a litter box, a cozy pillow, and tiered shelves for the cats to climb and perch within it. They have big windows to look out of and can watch the dogs play outside without fear. Rob and the staff come across as happy to provide this service, and always ask for updates on feeding, medication needs, and if my cats need anything special.
I do not recommend this place whatsoever. We brought our dog last summer while we were on vacation and he came home limping with a swollen paw. No one said anything or called. And had no explanation when we asked. We had to take him to the vet for antibiotics. Fast forward to this summer, we made last minute plans for another vacation and tried the place again. Figured the first time was a coincidence or a fluke. Wrong. We go to pick him up and they tell us he “came in with a paw pad falling off” and was kept from the doggie daycare/play area the ENTIRE week. Kept in his crate except for “private bathroom walks” with one employee. He had a full vet check up 4 days before being dropped off and a full grooming session the day before drop off and was fully healthy with normal/healthy paw pads. We have the vet records and grooming notes to prove that. We had dropped him off on a Friday and called on Tuesday to check on him. The gentleman on the phone said “oh he’s doing great, running around and playing!” Even though the woman employee at pick up says they noticed this issue the first day he was there. When I asked the woman employee why that gentleman didn’t tell us, she said “well that was probably Rob, the owner, and I can’t fire the owner unfortunately.” So basically calling to check on your dog is pointless. And the employees don’t even respect the owner, who obviously is oblivious to all that goes on. I also asked for pics while on vacation, and got zero. To top all of this off, they didn’t call me all week to tell me, and proceeded to give him some medicine, without asking, to “fix the paw pad”. The woman swore he “came in to their daycare with this issue”, which is a lie. Also, she seemed completely indifferent and not apologetic whatsoever. I have a feeling most 5 star reviews are from relatives or friends. Don’t bring personal items for your dog from home; we sent a blanket with him and they said “they lost it”. We will be finding a new place to board our dog. Edited to add, after being home, I see three of his paws have cuts on the paw pads; he’s bleeding, crying, and actually lost his voice and can’t bark, because he must’ve been going crazy there when in pain. They did eventually say sorry and offered us “three free days of doggie daycare”, but no thank you.
Love the staff and everyone there. My dogs love going there ! So glad I have found such a great place and a ton of new friends. You are family with everyone there.
I boarded my baby Marlo while I went on vacation. I am a first time dog mom and I was nervous but the staff made me feel so comfortable. They sent me pictures and kept me updated on how she was doing! She looked like she was having so much fun. I now take her for doggy daycare. I would highly recommend four paws for not only boarding but doggy day care as well.
This place is fantastic. They really really care about the animals. We brought our dog here multiple times and she is always happy when we pick her up. Love the staff. We will be back.🐾 …
I have been boarding my Great Dane Bodhi at Four Paws for about a year and it has been a fantastic experience. Most recently while I was out of town, Bodhi required medical attention. The staff at Four Paws notified me and they took him to the vet and then picked him up and continued to care for him until I arrived home 2 days later. They kept in contact with me with frequent updates and administered his medications ( at no additional charge). Bodhi gets so excited to "go play" and drags me into the facility every time we go, sometimes even carrying his own leash in his mouth. Often his excitement is a spectacle and kind of embarrassing, haha! He has had a couple of incidents of "misbehaving" and they handled him appropriately and with Love and understanding. Big Bodhi loves all of his friends at Four Paws. We can't recommend them enough.
I think my dog loves Four Paws more than he loves me. He cries to go to daycare daily. He is greeted by name from so many staff members. He runs to the yard without looking back. When I pick him up, he is all wiggles and always gets a treat from the office staff. He is dead asleep about 90seconds into the drive home. My dog’s behaviors tell me he is treated well and loves this place. I’d absolutely recommend 100%
My dog almost didn't want to go home. That's how much fun he had with his stay. The staff was friendly and very helpful.
They always seem to take good care of our dog. Their rates are reasonable, the staff is always friendly and polite, and they are really easy to work with. I worried a lot when I first started using them because there always seems to be an awful lot of dogs there and I had read reviews that mentioned that as a negative, but our Josie girl is always happy to go and she always returns home from them happy, healthy, and wore out from playing all day. Would definitely recommend them.
Rosie, my red heeler, loves spending time with her friends at Four Paws. It has helped her come out of her shell and be less fearful. I love this place and the people who work there are great.
Amy does a great job grooming my Goldendoodle. She always takes the extra time to get any mats out of his fur and avoid having yo shave him down. Other groomers at other salons have just shaved him to avoid having to put in that extra time. After she grooms him he always looks beautiful! Thank you, Amy!
Our groomer retired so we tried here. Our dog is a miniature schnauzer. She is a retired show dog but we still get her hand stripped to keep her coat. This was a place that does hand stripping. I brought her in for a consultation first to make sure. Showed pictures and groomer looked at coat, etc because it is a bit more expensive. She agreed she could do it in 2 hours (full grooming and stripping as I try to strip at home for maintance). Made appointment. Drop off 8:30 pick up 10:30 or so. Dropped her off, groomer said I will call you in 2 hours. By 11:30 I was getting worried they didn't have my number so went there. Called first and no one answered. The person at the desk checked the groomer's schedule and said the groomer had 2 appointments at 8:30 so my dog didn't start until 10:30 and would be ready at 12:30. OK, 2 hours grooming still and maybe I misunderstood drop off times. I picked her up at 12:30. They charged me 4 hours of grooming, from 8:30 to 12:30 at $300. Despite what I was told at the desk. A girl brought my dog out so I had no chance to talk to the groomer about why she said 2 hours and what happened. Even when my dog was getting show groomed, IT WAS NEVER 4 HOURS. My dog is a miniature schnauzer, not a giant poodle. She is well kept up and I have photos that she wasn't an overgrown, matted dog that needed special attention. Despite that and showing pictures, they cut her eyebrows off and short beard, nothing like the photos I shared. I paid, didn't complain, will never go back.
We are so glad to have found The Pet Spot! We had our two doodle mixes groomed by Morgan. The pups' coats were in pretty rough shape, but Morgan was so kind, informative, and nonjudgemental. She did a wonderful job. We will be sure to be back in a couple months, and we're looking forward to using their boarding services in a couple of weeks!
Ryu Capone was very well taken care of for his 1st time being boarded at any type of pet spa facility. I believe they cut his toenails because they look very short. I'm fine with that. He was still a little rambunctious when he got home but when he settled down he slept real good. I would say double check the pricing because there were a few mistakes made in the pricing which makes me want to rethink some things. Overall out of 10 I give the Pet Spa a 9.
Morgan did an amazing job grooming my Great Pyrenees. Best he’s ever looked!
I used to take my dog (border collie) to a few different groomers, and when a friend recommended The Pet Spot, I thought I’d give it a try. I’ve been there for grooming twice now, and they were great both times. My dog is older and can be dog aggressive, and they are amazing at letting her have breaks during the grooming and letting her wait in a room on her own so she isn’t so stressed. The grooming itself is phenomenal, and they actually listen to what I would like instead of just doing what they think every border collie should have. They are also very quick and do a great job with communication. I highly recommend The Pet Spot, and I won’t be taking my dog anywhere else if they continue to be this amazing.
First time visit for my tiny Shorkie. She’s not easily handled. Other groomers didn’t quite style her as requested. But Pet Spot communication made it easy to get the look I wanted for my dog. I am beyond satisfied!
I highly recommend The Pet Spot! Our previous dog Josie went until she passed. We have 2 dogs now Bruno and Vinny who go. The people are caring. Our dogs love going. We have also used their boarding service. They are the best!
I was in town for a few days and scheduled day boarding for my Luna remotely from another state. . The entire process was very convenient. I uploaded her shot records to the website and brought them with me just in case. I am very pleased with the service we both received and they took care of my Luna like she was part of their family. I will definitely use them again when I come back to the Cincinnati area. The price is reasonable and . I was able to work during the day knowing Luna would be cared for.
After having a bad experience at another dog groomer for the type of dogs that I have, I took my 3 dogs here for a nail trim. They were all done within 15 minutes. Very professional and quick! We will definitely be back in the future.
Our dog goes to Buddy Boarding 1-2 times per month for daycare. He LOVES it. He comes home exhausted and happy. I love the add ons - when we first started going, he was nervous and I could add one-on-one time. I love to see that he’s having fun so I always still add on photo updates. Some photo updates I’ve gotten over time are attached to this review!
Hidden gem of a local place! I recently did a test day with Buddy Boardjng and my dog had a blast. They have outdoor areas for the dogs to play in, which is really rare, and they sent multiple photos and check ins even though it was just a short visit.
Really disappointed with our experience with Buddy Boarding. Our dogs both passed their temperament test and then we got a weird text the next time we kept them there after a few hours that said “____ has failed, you need to pick him up.” The communication was just odd all around from this place, and it’s a shame because we had heard good things. We then left 1 of our dogs there while we were on a trip (the one that didn’t need to be picked up) and have been dealing with that dog being very sick all this last week. Wouldn’t recommend.
Our doggies loved this Buddy Boarding!!! The car ride home was nap time because they had so much fun the whole day. I have 2 mini Aussies with a lot of energy, which takes a lot to put them out for the count. Lol
If heaven on earth for Dogs was a thing, it would be Buddy's. Our 1.5 year old Golden thinks it's the best thing ever to "go to the farm" to play with her friends all day and we love knowing (and seeing on their social media updates) that she is having the time of her life! The owners are fantastic and the staff is great! Our girl comes home with the same smile on her face every time! My only complaint is that it's so hard to get into as Cincinnati's best keep dog secret is becoming more well known!
Hands down the BEST place to board your furry companions. Our German Shepard has never been boarded or stayed at a facility other than with friends and family, she had a blast and made a bunch of new friends. We loved getting photo and video updates, and further reassured that she was in the best care. We are looking forward to dropping her off when we need it again, her face says it all 😁
They are amazing! A dogs heaven. You can feel how much the staff truly cares about your dog. They also don’t nickle & dime you and charge extra for playtime/extra love or attention. No other boarding/daycare compares to Buddy Boarding! My dog can smell BB in the car ride when we are miles away and can’t contain his excitement! You know it’s a good place when your dog doesn’t even look back to say goodbye!
Our pups always have a great time! The staff are friendly & knowledgeable & the price is reasonable.
My dog loves this place! They are so kind to her and she always comes home with a smile! Highly recommended!
They took great care of our old girl while we had to leave town. They even happily kept her an extra day since we couldn't make it back in time before they closed.
