We took our pup to Furst Choice as soon as she got all her 4 month shots, and it was the best decision we ever made! Our dog went several days a week for a year and a half until we moved away, and we loved everything about it. She would get SO excited to go see her pup friends/staff. The staff treated her like their own, were always extremely communicative, sent home daily report cards, and who doesn't love seeing silly pictures of their dog playing/getting dressed up everyday? Big plus that they're next to the vet as well. If you're not able to get on the "regular" list, then you just need to be diligent about calling a week ahead to schedule your days before they fill up. Highly recommend!!!!!

Kris and the entire staff do an amazing job with all the pups that stay here. I usually have my Boxer pup, Olive, stay for half a day on Tues & Fri. Those are her favorite days of the wk. I watch each time as she is introduced into the group (which she generally knows already) and when I pick her up, she is excited to see me and usually sleeps the rest of the day😂 Prices are extremely reasonable, with half-day stays (3-5 hours) as low as $12 /day depending on the package. That’s cheaper than a dog walk and she gets to play with other pups!! They also do an excellent job taking photos throughout the day so when I board her and am missing her sweet face, I can pull up their FB page and see her having fun. Fur’st Choice is an A++ place! I’ve been very pleased.

I'm very disappointed that my dog is no longer able to attend this daycare center after day one. He was literally kicked out on his first day, in less than three hours. We had worked on getting him in for months, paid extra for shots that other daycare places don't require, passed their temperament test, raced to call in and reserve daycare - that is, if we weren't put on the waiting list. I was made aware of their strict policy of dogs acting out: One strike and you're out. It was also his first day there and I can only imagine that my dog was feeling anxious on his first day as some children or normal people would be at their first day at anything. I'm also disappointed in hearing how they handled my dog. He's been going to doggy daycare since he was a puppy, has worked this multiple dog trainers throughout the years, and not once have I heard professionals grab dogs by their collar in the middle of a fight. We were taught by our trainers and past doggy daycare centers not to do that. This is extremely unfortunate because our dog's vet is right next door and now we'll have to explore a further option for us. I only recommend this place if you're interested in spending weeks to fulfill their requirements, pay for additional shots, fight every week to be that "special caller" that'll be granted daycare (you can only reserve a week in advance - if you're lucky), and cross your fingers that your dog doesn't get hit with the "one strike and you're out" policy. Oh, and also be fine with workers that resort to pulling a dog's collar in the middle of a fight. Just a tip, one of our dog's last daycare places used bitter apple spray before resorting to touching the dogs.

Love the staff, hate the management. Recently, they returned our dog Lily to us both sick and with fleas (fleas have never happened to her) and did not even tell us about it. $300 later in vet bills, she is fine. This was the second time she was returned to us sick and the staff never told me. The vet next door appears to own part or all of Fur'st Choice and told us they would address it. The vet is great-the daycare is not. Save yourself anxiety and money and go elsewhere. Again, the staff is caring and loving if apparently somewhat undertrained.

Recently picked up our 16 week old Golden. He was injured. We did not receive notification that he was injured (the dog would not place weight on his rear paw) When picking the dog up we walked right past the manger who did not say a word about the dog being hurt. Then once in the office and dealing with a young lady who then walked outside and spoke with the manager said hey your dog is hurt. I think you could rub it out. Its now almost 9pm and we have not been contacted by the daycare to check on our dog. I of course rushed him to the vet. His knee and hip seem fine bu the is having problems with is toes. Which I hope he will be okay. I will keep you posted on how this turns out but I would not take your pet to this place.

Been a customer for 4 years. Our highly active Brittany needs the interaction twice a week to keep him sane, and we board. Very caring staff, great coordination with Vet that shares their location. Love the Facebook postings, and individuality they maintain for each dog.

No clue who or why someone would not give these guys a 5-star review, but the truth is this is a great team of caring people who love their guests and customers. Having the vet next door is icing on the cake. Our hound dog has been going here for years and it still is one of his biggest joys. He loves Furst Choice like family.

Hello, I want to clear up the negative comments that have been written by a few recently. My toy poodle, Theodore has been going to Furst Choice since he was 9 weeks about 7 months old. He absolutely LOVES this place which we lovingly call "his school." He has sooo many friends (both human as well as canine.) If the pups could only talk as well as post you would hear it from them. Not only does my boy, Theodore go crazzzy with excitement when they arrive, but many of his pup friends do too! With me being an "empty nester" Theodore is my baby. I have shown up expectantly on numerous occasions only to find the staff pleasant and attentive to both people as well as the doggies. They go way above and beyond to answer questions as well as kissing and hugging the pups. They have a Facebook page which they both put daily pictures up as well as send to the families so we can enjoy and show friends. So if you need any POSITIVE feedback, feel free to contact me anytime, because this facility as well as the staff are totally awesome and deserve a special "THANK YOU" from their clients aka family. Our pup has been a member of Little Dog Adventures since 2021! Kelly is the absolute best with dogs and there's no one I trust more than her with our own. She is extremely professional, easy to communicate with, and flexible. Her facilities are immaculate and she works diligently to make sure everything is cleaned regularly and that the dogs remain illness-free. She also provides picture and video updates daily. If you are lucky to get into Kelly's pack you won't be disappointed!

Little Dog Adventures and Kelly have been the absolute best for the past 2 years. Piper loves going to "school" and loves all of her friends. She even has a BFF. We hate to move and leave Kelly. She really does treat my little one like her very own. And the pick-up service is the best. I never worry about my little one.

Kelly at Little Dog Adventures is awesome. She cares for these dogs as if they are her own. I never have to worry about my dog when she is at Little Dog Adventures. Having this doggie day camp in the shore drive area has been so great to have. Georgia always knows what day "school" and is always excited to see Kelly and all her friends. Our little pups Buji and Winnie love Little Dog Adventures! They have so much fun at "school" and we appreciate the extra love and care that Kelly gives to them. Kelly cares about the girls as if they were her own. We also love that if we travel, the girls can spend the night at an environment where they feel comfortable and we know that they will be taken care of as if they were spending the night with a relative. We cannot speak highly enough of Kelly and Little Dog Adventures. She's a natural dog person and really does take care of your pup like she does her own. She's so easy to work with and makes dog care a breeze! Knowing that Teddy is happily playing with other dogs in a safe and caring environment makes it so much easier to leave him for workdays or vacations. If you need a few days of daycare, boarding, or anything in between, Little Dog Adventures is the place to go, and you can't beat the price!

I cannot say enough good things about Kelly and Little Dog Adventures! I feel so fortunate to have found this daycare for my dog, Charles. Kelly is absolutely wonderful; it is clear that Charles adores her and spending time with his friends at LDA. The group size is small enough that the pups get ample individualized attention, and the backyard is the perfect set up for playing. Plus the pick up and drop off couldn't be more convenient! Kelly takes the time to upload photos and videos daily of each dog in addition to putting together the cutest photo shoots during holidays. I am very sad to be moving and leaving LDA. I would recommend Kelly and LDA to anyone.

Panda is our baby and we were very picky about where we were going to send her to day care. From our first meeting with Kelly, Panda took right to her. Kelly is so smart and intuitive with the dogs. Panda is a happier and more even-tempered doggie ever since she started going to Little Dog Adventures. She gets excited when I put her collar on because she knows Kelly is coming to pick her up. Kelly is very trustworthy, cautious, and caring, and has a great indoor / outdoor play area in her home. Panda gets lots of exercise and has become a very social, playful pup. Kelly is so considerate when it comes to our fur baby and treats her like her own. She creates a Google Photos album for each dog and we get daily updates with awesome photos and videos! Without a doubt I would 100% recommend Kelly and Little Dog Adventures.

My pup absolutely loves going to see her friends at Bark. Everyone is always so welcoming and happy to see her. She sits by my car in the morning waiting to go to doggy daycare at Bark. She comes home happy and exhausted. As a busy family with an energetic puppy, we are so grateful to have such a fantastic place for her to go play while we work. You can really tell the staff are all animal people.

The BEST doggie daycare/boarding facility I’ve ever taken my two rescue dogs to! The entire staff at Bark are always extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Love that I’m able to drop off my two dogs for daycare and have them bathed while they’re there as well! Such a great business in all aspects.

Carter loves this place! After a bad experience at another facility I was worried to try again, but SO glad we did!!! The girl who did his temperment test was so kind to him and made it the best experience for him! It is so great to see how happy he is when he knows he is going to see all his friends for the day! I have peace of mind knowing he is safe and having a blast! He always comes home sooo exhausted, but wagging his tail! I cannot say enough good things about this place and the wonderful people who work here!

Sansa loves her doggie buddies there. She comes home happy and tired. The team there is always interacting with the dogs. Also every night around 10 you can go on thier Facebook page and see lots of photos from that day. Always fun to see what your pup is up to. Update. Sansa is staying overnight. Love that pups stay in a cabana not a crate. Her BF is staying too. Bark let's them stay together so they won't stress out. Still the Best at Bark!!

I’ve always been paranoid boarding my babies, but I like the socialization aspect and when I do need to leave town without him I’d like to know my boy is safe and comfortable somewhere. I found that with Bark. Recently I had to go out of town to a wedding. Took him to Bark for the night, he always gets excited to arrive and greet his friends (both people type and furry.) So we arrived and he went back to play with the other pups. The handlers called me in the morning to let me know that my boy was not feeling good, he was acting irregularly, barely eating or drinking. Since the onsite vet wasn’t in that day they told me they could make an appointment for him later on that I could take him to, and that’s what we did. About a half an hour later I got a call from one of the owners who told me that my boy couldn’t wait so she called the vet and took him to be seen right away. I was about an hour drive away and I was on my way. The owner not only took him to the vet but was still waiting there when I got there. I was so pleased to know that Bark cared enough about my boy to make the moves that very well could have, and probably did save my boys life. I will forever be thankful to Bark and the staff for not leaving my boys side. He’s my baby and I felt terrible not being with him when he didn’t feel good, but Bark had my back, they showed him love. My pup ended up at the pet hospital getting emergency surgery and is now home fully recovered! Bark VB has a customer for as long as I’m in the area, I’ll always recommend them as well! Thank you!

The staff at BARK is incredible! They are so caring and very observant. We trust them for boarding our 2 dogs every time we are out of town :) Thank you for taking such great care of our sweet pups!

The staff at Bark VB is INCREDIBLE to say the least. This post is long overdue - we initially brought our dog in for a meet and greet for boarding as the need for boarding came up quickly due to emergency. After the meet and greet went so well, we decided to bring our dog in for daycare - he goes every day because he loves it so much. He whines and begs to see his friends, staff and pups alike, every day. We are so grateful to be able to have a safe and fun place to board him when we need to travel. It’s been a great place to have him socialized - we’ve also started to have his grooming needs tended to here because he is so comfortable with the staff (our dog is skiddish about baths and nail trims). We always get comments about how well-socialized with people and other dogs our dog is and we know a lot is due to how careful and highly trained the professionals at Bark are to manage interactions. They call us with any concerns right away and are always on top of it when they notice anything off about our dog (ie fabric in his poop from eating toys at home). Our dog is one of kids and we are so incredibly grateful to have been recommended to the care at Bark VB. Thank you Mary, Jerilyn, and all the staff at VB for looking after our dogs so well and not only giving us peace of mind, but making it fun for our puppy day in and day out.

I’ve only come here for self-service dog bathing and private gym. Every experience has been amazing! My dog and I have so much fun here! He absolutely loves getting to run through their agility equipment with me in their gym. It’s excellent stimulation for him as well. We will continue to use their services as long as we’re in the area!

Our pup Pretzel absolutely LOVES doggie daycare here! When we tell him he’s going to “bark,” he immediately perks up and starts to zoom around until he’s in the car! The staff is so friendly and always welcoming! I highly recommend this place for doggie daycare!!!!

First time we left our babies for a week. K9 did a great job taking care of them. Process from drop off to pick up was seamless. They looked great at pick up , happy and tired from playing with their new friends. I was able to briefly see them on a K9 posted video. Although I didn’t ask, I wish they sent me a short video of them during their stay. Overall we are very pleased with K9 Luxury Resort.

K9 Resorts are top notch. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Provide updates good and bad on how our pup did that day. We have a 7 month old golden retriever and he loves going on Tuesdays and Thursdays. He comes home exhausted from playing with his friends. We had a good experience. The staff was very friendly and patient with my concerns and the facility is very clean. We will use them again, the only baby negative is I would have preferred if they reached out to me at least once a day with an update and photograph. Every time I called they were very friendly and receptive but it would be nice if they reached out to me for a daily report instead of me having to call them, even if it was just a note on my account to let me know if my dogs were eating, etc. Also, a photo would have been nice. It was overall great. I wasn't allowed to leave a blanket bc of choking hazard 😪 I understand that though. I do recommend them! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I thank k9 hotel for dog's ! My service dog stay with them for two day's, he was clean and he must have had a ball ,he was tried like they told me. Paste my child name slept for two days. He was just fine. When I'm in the virginia beach area, I will always used this company fir my son who us 8years old. Again thank you so much. Sincerely, your customer for life! My almost 2-year-old chocolate lab had so much fun at K9 Resorts VA Beach! The staff was so welcoming, and it seemed like they loved my dog almost as much as I do. And the best part was that my dog came home happy and exhausted! I can't wait to bring Escher back next week!

Our Jack Russell had the BEST time at K9 Resorts. How do I know this??? He was high spirited when we picked him up and has slept for two hours since we got home. There is no doubt that he played and socialized the entire time he was there. We were impressed by the procedures K9 goes through to make sure that he was safe and able to play with the other dogs there that day. The staff was warm and welcoming while professional in representing their facility. I will definitely choose the Virginia Beach K9 Resorts again and would highly recommend to others.

Everyone was so nice and so thoughtful and so helpful. Our boy was immediately excited and happy to leave our side. The whole process was very smooth organized and the lobby was very clean. Jax, Our GSP , really enjoyed his stay there. We were grateful for him too have really good care that gave us some peace of mind:)

I absolutely loved it and so did my Dane. This was his first daycare experience and is usually a pretty nervous wreck. His first day jitters were nowhere to be found when I picked him up. And he was so pooped after. Love this place

Top notch customer service and quality! Our dogs boarded here for the first time a few weeks ago. The staff was very communicative when one of our pups was having feeding issues and took special care to ensure she ate and remained healthy. Our 3 pups had the best time! As far as the facility - BEAUTIFUL! The grooming services are also are absolute gold. I even had to email back and ask what products they used because my dogs were so clean and smelled amazing. Use them! :)

I recently boarded my dog at K9 Resorts Luxury Pet Hotel Virginia Beach, and overall, I was pleased with the experience. The facility itself is well-maintained and looks quite nice. It was clear that the dogs were well-cared for and seemed happy during their stay, which was reassuring. However, I do wish there had been more communication from the staff about how my dogs were doing while I was away. It would have been helpful to know if they were eating, playing with other dogs, and settling in. While I trust that they were in good hands, a little more feedback would have provided additional peace of mind. In summaryK9 Resorts in Virginia Beach, is a good place to leave your dog, but a bit more communication with pet owners would make the experience even better.

This was my first experience dropping my dog off to ruff house (va beach) for Labor Day weekend because we were going out of town. I picked this facility based on the great reviews. I didn’t tour the facility with my husband b/c front desk staff stated there was a certain time that we would have to come in and we had to work. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary upon dropping her off. We did elect for play time for one day which was an upcharge. We never received pictures or updates regarding my dog. However we called Saturday and was told everything was going well and that she’s wagging her tail. She seemed happy she just wasn’t eating a lot. On Sunday we picked her up and she was panting like she was hot or didn’t have water. She looked a sweaty mess. I thought let me take her home in bathe her she might be overly tired. She slept all day Monday like she was depressed. As an update I called to speak to the manager Tuesday. The manager never came to the phone only relaying messages to the front desk staff that Asa wasn’t outside Sunday and they’re not sure why she was sweaty and panting. She seemed fine on Saturday when she was playing. Also I asked about room temp in the kennel and they stated it was 72 degrees which is a little in the warm side in my opinion. I will not be bringing my dog back. Unprofessional that the manager didn’t want to listen to my concerns.

Thank you all so much for taking care of our boy Milo. I was nervous at first leaving him for the first time since we've had him but with the staff taking pics of him everyday (I made sure to check lol) gave me and my family a warm fuzzy that he was being taking care of. I like the little report afterwards thats lets me know how he did as well. I look forward to bring him back for a future doggy daycare session to get accustomed to other pups. Thanks again!

The atmosphere was incredibly friendly and inviting. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted Sadie with genuine warmth and care, making her feel right at home. Their attention to detail and personalized approach made the entire experience exceptional. It was clear they prioritize customer satisfaction and go above and beyond to ensure everyone feels comfortable and valued.

We’ve been coming here for over 3 years. We’ve boarded our senior dogs with special needs, our super shy, skittish dogs, and our super active pups. All of them come back super happy and healthy. Staff is very helpful treat the pups with such love!

We boarded our two guinea pigs and we were so pleased with how clean their cage was when we picked them up. Their hay bag was full and there was food in their bowl so we know they were well taken care of. I also appreciated them being in a quiet area. We will definitely be back! We have boarded at another kennel previously and the difference is night and day. We highly recommend The Ruff House for your small animal boarding needs.

I was really worried about taking my dog to boarding/daycare for the first time but ruff house was nothing but helpful, accommodating, and kind. They were very quick & helpful when responding to all of my questions throughout the “onboarding process” & during my dogs stay! He tested into daycare and I’m so excited to see him grow and be properly socialized with other dogs in a controlled, safe environment. When I first received pictures of my dog playing with others, my heart melted. Thank you ruff house!!

It was my first time ever leaving my fur babies at a doggy boarding facility. The atmosphere is very clean. The staff is very nice and relaxed. They treated my babies really well and made sure that I knew they did well while I was gone. They’re very alert when it comes to their boarders and I love that. Will definitely be using them again in the future.

We had a wonderful grooming experience with Judy! Our pup came home happy, healthy and looking so handsome! We would highly recommend the Ruff House for their grooming services!!

Boarded our pup for the first time and we are so happy we picked Ruff House. The pictures taken during his stay shows how much he enjoyed it. They took such good care of him! We will definitely use them again for both boarding and grooming services.

I really wanted to love this place. I’ve taken my dog here twice. The first experience seemed great.. he was super tuckered out, and they took a ton of photos. Based on that, I decided to bring him back. This time, things were different. I didn’t really get much with the photos which I'm not too worried about, but he came home with an unusual amount of energy and INSANELY thirsty. He sprinted to his water bowl and i had to refill it twice.. which confused me. He’s not the kind of dog that requires constant stimulation to relax, so it felt odd. I had also requested a full groom for him, but when I picked him up, he didn’t smell fresh, which made me question if he even received a bath. At first, I let it go, but only a week later and he's showing signs that his anal glands are full. Now I’m wondering if I was charged for services that weren’t provided. To make matters worse, he has kennel cough. I don’t understand how dogs get sick in facilities that require updated vaccines. He’s never been sick before, and I feel awful for him.

Our little Ben Gardner loves coming to doggie daycare. The staff is wonderful and so caring and patient with all the animals. They go on field trips they do crafts and go swimming. They love our pets as much as we do.

Have been taking our dog here for 13 years. Management has change once to my knowledge. Our dog is well cared for, their practices are honest and their facility is well constructed and clean. We get pictures and reports on our dog’s activity EVERY stay. Their computer scheduling system makes it easy to request daycare and overnight stays. We tried a few other places when he was a pup and had no luck finding any one else who cares for our dog even close to the excellent care provided my Hopes Garden resort. Highly recommend.

Hope for Life and Hope's Garden Resort are basically the same place, especially with all of the rescues always hanging out in the resort. You aren't safe in her facilities and neither are any of the animals. Also, any bad review she receives on Google gets flagged by her, so that her rating doesn't lower and her corruption isn't exposed. Please help stop the corruption here.

We brought our little Lincoln here for Labor Day weekend while we were out of town for a wedding. I was so nervous since we had adopted him a few months prior (from Hope for Life!! 😊) and we didn’t know his history. We brought him for a meet and greet right after we booked and the staff members were so nice. When we dropped him off, I left them with a note about his personality/behaviors and they were so amazing. All weekend, they posted pictures and updates of Lincoln having fun. I could tell when we left him that he was in great hands, but I didn’t expect literally every employee to go above and beyond for him. Lincoln had so much fun, and I had fun checking his updates all weekend :). Thank you Hope’s Garden!!! We will never use anyone else.

The staff and facility is wonderful. They are super accommodating and clean! When touring the establishment all the animals seemed to be having a wonderful visit. My Luna is usually nervous around other dogs and she has already made some friends. Highly recommended.

Horrible experience, hope for life and hopes garden are supposed to be a place for rescues and dogs and cats who are accepted, unfortunately the new girl in charge after the manager who just left didn’t want to “deal” with my large breed dog and wanted to just put him in a run. I have owned rescues and worked at the SPCA for 6 years. Would not recommend at all. I picked my dog up, he smelled and hasn’t stopped crying since. Mind you he was only there an hour before they called me to pick him up. I am disgusted. Will never recommend and will be sure to let you everyone I know- to never go there I agree with the other reviews. If you want your dog left in a run take them here. Because they will not be taken care of well. I have a shaking crying dog now and I have no idea what happened to him there

Hope's Garden is such a wonderful place if you are looking to drop your furry friend off for a stay or even just for the day. They get plenty of playtime with the staff and the other dogs. The manager is even awesome enough to send you pictures and videos of them playing during the day!! I find that to be such a thoughtful touch when you are missing your buddy.

I recently left my daughters dog Jasper here for a week as he was a little too much for me to handle. I was very impressed with the kind and caring staff the cleanliness of the facility and the dedication to the well being of all the animals boarding at the facility. I checked on Jasper throughout the week and he had a blast !! Highly reccomend

They take great care of the cats and dogs wether they’re boarding or there during daycare. The facility is always clean and the staff is always attentive to the clients as well as their pets. They always make sure you and your pet(s) get the quality of service and care that you pay for and deserve. They always go above and beyond the expectations of their facility and I will definitely always recommend them to other people. They are better than any other facility i’ve seen and been to.

Staff cares about your pets a lot! The facility is clean and the rooms are nice and big, on a tour of the place all the animals looked happy and cared for. The resort funds an amazing animals shelter too so your money is used to save other animals in need All around a wholesome place

Claudia is amazing! She has been so kind to work around my unpredictable work schedule for daycare and boarding when I'm out of town for work. My 1 year old corgi, Daisy, absolutely LOVES going to Claudia's and playing on her backyard toys! I always get photos and videos on how Daisy's days are going, which I love because then I know Daisy is happy and well cared for the entire time (see attached photos). Claudia has also been very helpful in improving Daisy's training and very open to implementing the techniques I use at home. Claudia is a blessing to Daisy and I! Claudia is incredible! We couldn't be happier with our dog-sitting experience with her! From the moment she met our dog Murphy, it was clear she has a natural gift with pups. She immediately connected with him, which made him feel at ease right away. Every day of the three months she cared for Murphy, he came home exhausted from a full day of play, socializing, and receiving lots of love and attention. The obstacle course play/training and fetch were particular highlights. He really had a maxed out fun day every day there. Claudia was also incredibly accommodating with a few schedule adjustments that popped up, which made things so much easier for us. Murphy was in great hands—and it showed! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Claudia. We travel a lot and she is by far the best dog care pro we’ve come across. Claudia is a true dog lover, kind person, and all around caring guardian of fur babies. I do not worry at all when I leave my dogs with her days or sometimes weeks. She sends me photos and frequent updates on how they’re doing. My dogs are lap dogs and love the attention from her kids. They walk right inside when I drop them off, like they’re happy to be there. Highly recommend her as a boarding option!

Claudia is amazing with our pup! When we drop her off, she doesn’t look back because she is so excited to spend time there!! Our dog has dietary restrictions and Claudia is ALWAYS able to accommodate!!! I get lots of updates but honestly I don’t have anything to worry about, my dog is in great hands!! I am so happy I came across her daycare! I will only use her for boarding our pup!

I cant recommend Claudia enough! She is incredibly flexible and you can tell that she really loves what she does. She communicates wonderfully and sends pictures while your pet is with her and I can tell that my pup had a great time during both stays. It’s a gift when you don’t have to worry about your pet while you’re gone and that is absolutely the case with Claudia!

My dog loves going to Claudia’s, he wags his tail and pulls to get in her house every time! Claudia takes care of him as if he was one of her own. It’s comforting to know that my dog is in a loving home getting lots of attention, instead of sitting in a crate all day like most boarding places. Claudia also sends pictures and updates while your dog is there to put your mind even more at ease. I would never want to board my dog anywhere else!

We always take our dogs with us but feel so fortunate to have found Claudia to care for our 2 Dobermans and golden retriever. She’s beyond amazing - very experienced, conscientious, always keeping us up to date on how the dogs are doing. They just love her - get great exercise, playtime and are well taken care of. Layla had a fun day being introduced to the large playgroup today. I didn’t think it could happen because she has no other dogs to play with where we live and she can be bossy at times. But we both had an amazing experience today. The staff was very courteous and knowledgeable in answering my questions and assuring me that they would keep a close eye on her . I won’t have any stress or anxiety leaving her here when I go on vacation. I highly recommend the facility in VA Beach and their staff.

My Alaskan husky has been attending daycare 5 days a week since Thanksgiving 2023. I never figured I’d be someone who trusted a daycare setting with the care of my dog but we began out of desperation and need for an immediate, safe place for her to be during the day while I worked and we’ve stayed because they’ve become family! My girl loves her time at Cosmo’s and I’ve felt 110% safe with her in their care during the days and most recently with her first boarding stay with them. Communication is EXCELLENT, care is only second to my own, and service and value are both exceptional. I love Cosmo’s but more importantly so does Jip.

Our young golden had his daycare intro today and we were slightly nervous as we didn’t know what to expect. The staff are wonderful, friendly and kind, answered all my questions and called to give us an update mid day. The facility is super nice, well taken care of and clean. We will definitely be using Cosmos again for both day care and boarding.

We boarded our 5 month old Golden Retriever here for 5 days. She came home with a bit more manners than when we dropped her off. She slept so well that evening, clearly from so much fun and play! We loved getting the daily report cards with photos!! The photos they took were such high quality, they almost looked like she had a photo shoot every day! We loved that they told us who her favorite pals were that day and also sent photos of her with her fur friends. We can’t wait to bring our Summer back for more fun! Cosmo's Corner has amazing attention to detail and I always feel good about having my dogs here. I love the report cards that get sent especially knowing who our dogs have made friends with whether it be canine or human! They take great photos and our dogs look so happy every time. We know our dogs had a great time while we were away on vacation and that gave us peace of mind. Everyone in our family uses Cosmo's Corner and will continue to recommend this amazing place to everyone.

We love Cosmo’s! The staff are absolutely wonderful. They are very attentive and call you with any questions, concerns or updates. We are never worried about leaving our pup with them! The crafts, pictures, and parties they do with the dogs are also super cute and fun! Highly recommend :)

We’re so happy with our experience! When my dogs have boarded elsewhere, they have come home seeming a little anxious and with upset stomachs. Not the case here! They came home in great spirits. They stayed clean and well cared for. And I love that there are little extras you can add on. Helps me with my guilt for not being able to take them with the human family for the holidays!

Cosmo's is great for both of our dogs! Our rescue gets private care since she isn't great around other dogs, but our little corgi loves playing in group with the other little breeds! We requested report cards for both of them, which came with photos and full paragraphs about their day. The folks at Cosmo's clearly love what they do, and we are so happy that we get to leave our doggos in such good hands. :)

I am so impressed with the professional service I've received with Beach Dog Walking! They are trustworthy, honest and truly LOVE animals. I love that I receive an email as soon as they check into my home (they scan a code on my refrigerator); then I receive a photo or two during the walk. My dog couldn't be happier!! I also receive a notice when they leave and I can track where they've gone on their walks. They are also very flexible with scheduling. I found Brenda's name online when my regular dog sitter was unavailable. She came by for a consultation and to meet our dogs. They immediately took to her and seemed very comfortable. While we were away, Brenda voluntarily sent photos of the dogs on thier walk to my phone, both the evening we left, and the next morning. She emailed a funny story that had happened with one of the dogs. I was very impressed with her. We've hired her another time since then and will definitely hire her again. Emily and Teresa took my 3 Setters for a nice walk every day while I was on vacation and then sent pictures of each (with their tounges hanging out!) after the walk. I absolutely love Brenda and her staff. In order for me to relax and enjoy my vacation it is critical that my fur babies are well cared for while we are away-and let me tell you, my fur babies are not always a walk in the park. They have a tendency to be on their worst behavior when we are away. They require a lot of special care as one of my babies is a senior and my youngest is as ornery as they come. This group of ladies go above and beyond what I would have ever expected. They are on time, they do exactly what I ask them to do and they send me a picture after each visit. I ended up booking with Top Dog Walk after my previous dog walking service stopped working in the Ghent area and recommended I switch to TDW. As a person who sometimes requires a last minute booking, I was apprehensive about their "two day prior" scheduling policy. However, they were always very accommodating and it was never an issue. They are a wonderful group of people who gave me much peace of mind about my unruly dogs! Plus, I love coming home to a little note about what they did that day. ❤️

I've been using Top Dog Walk for several years now whenever we're away for long weekends or vacations. They take excellent care of our large, energetic dog! The owners (Dana and Vijay) are well-organized and you can tell they really care about what they do. Prior to the first visit, they set up a meet-and-greet and send out email confirmation of your scheduled visits. They post Twitter updates and leave a "report card" at each visit, which I just love. We tried several kennels in the area before finding Top Dog Walk and our dog always seemed so sad when we dropped her off, and was stressed out afterward (she actually broke out of her cage at one place!) Needless to say, I feel so much more comfortable leaving her at home knowing that she will get long walks and lots of attention from Top Dog Walk! I highly recommend them!

She's always content after Top Dog has made a visit. Dealing with a tunnel to and from work I can have peace of mind, even when traffic is impossible. After an initial snafu with scheduling a consultation, Dana worked diligently to regain my confidence in Top Dog Walk. My husband and I met with her to discuss our pet sitting needs over the holidays and we are incredibly glad Dana didn't give up on us as easily as we gave up on her. Her pet sitting service did an AMAZING job. Our Butkus can be a handful but, Dana and Paige were great with him. They were very patient and attentive and did a great job of sending us updates on how he was doing while we were away. We are very thankful they took the time on Christmas Day to care for our pooch and will definitely work with them in the future.

I have used Top Dog for over a year and have been thoroughly impressed with their services. Not only to I find them to be extremely professional but I am also deeply touched by their personal care when caring for my dogs. I have an elderly chocolate lab that requires some help getting up and down the stairs and other older dog aliments. Top Dog Walk has always made a point to care for my dogs just as I would and I greatly appreciate them for that.

I've had Sitters by the Sea sit my cats twice now. Both times were excellent. One of my cats takes meds for a seizure disorder. Having someone you can trust with this type of care can't be underestimated. Great care and accountable.

I gladly recommend “Sitters By the Sea” to pet owners looking for an alternative to doggie day centers. We own a 9-year-old rescue beagle named “Biscuit”. We placed him a couple of times in a doggie day care center earlier this year and Biscuit always seemed stressed when we picked him up. I don’t think it had anything to do with the staff or the care but more to do with the environment. It was lots of dogs and very noisy. I had to go out of town for three days this week and decided to try something different. I called “Sitters By the Sea” and was able to set up with a meeting with Joee, the owner, that same day. I loved receiving daily update emails with photos. Biscuit was much happier staying in his own home and now has a new friend. I will definitely use their service again!

Sitters By The Sea is amazing. We’ve used them several times over the last year and a half. They are reliable and amazing with our dogs. They take them for walks, play with them in the backyard and of course give them lots of love. Shortly after moving to Virginia Beach and right before Christmas we had a family emergency and had to find a petsitter for our 2 cats. Fast. It was a busy time, but they squeezed us in. When I met Joee her warmth immediately put me at ease. Not a natural state for me. I knew my old cats would be in good hands. Joee is an animal lover and a great businesswoman. She spent lots of time with my dogs and cat and sent detailed reports with pictures. I think they had more fun with her than they do with me. She allowed us to go out of town and not worry about our pets. The dogs and cat were healthy, happy, and unstressed when we got home.

Joee is one of the most attentive customer service professionals I have ever encountered. She communicated very well and came out for a "meet and greet" all prior to our first visit. She showed up on time and sent pictures and texts about each time she saw our two dogs from Friday night till Sunday morning ....the dogs were calm and happy when we returned home. House is clean and everything in place. Highly recommend.
