Dog Sitters in Black Walnut

I left my dog here for a little over a week and they took such good care of him. I called and they gave me updates on how he was doing. The staff is very kind! I recommend to anyone who needs to board their pet!

Recently I boarded “My Dog” Leroy at Baronwood Kennels. He was well cared for. They also groom and train dogs which was something that I did not know and I have just found out about. I am going to look into having Leroy groomed there as well. Many years ago I boarded “My Cat” Andre at Baronwood Kennels. They took good care of Andre too. I am pleased with their service. They go out of their way to make sure that your pet is comfortable and feels at home. JJ is great to work with.

Baronwood Kennels is a great place to take your dog. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. They treat Dice like he is one of their family members. JJ is always nice and accomodating. Sharee(sp?) took the time to give Dice a little extra exercise because I told her he wasn't resting at night. He came home from day care and slept all night. I really appreciate them taking care of Dice and I feel comfortable leaving him in their care. I also appreciate the other staff members who escorts him to and from his suite at drop off and pick up. Kat and the previous groomer who is on leave make sure Dice is groomed well which includes, bath, brush and nail trimming.

Left my dog there for a week. Picked her up she was thin, smelled like pee, and was sick. Cost me alot of money to get my dog back well. The owner is rude and unprofessional. I would NEVER recommend!

I love the Baronwood staff, they’re friendly and so welcoming to our Henry! I trust them to take care of him and provide him with a safe, caring environment.

We have read the reviews and excited to drop our babies off. My stars are based off the friendliest of the staff when I called and how welcoming the call was. We feel like they will treat our babies like we do! We feel at ease while we go on vacation, knowing they will be well cared for.

My Dog Susie was boarding at Baronwood Kennels and the service was so professional and caring for my dog I would recommend there service to anyone who needs boarding service, they was so friendly and kind they showed so much love to my Dog.

My puppy, Moon, came there 2 times. All staffs are friendly. My puppy really loves to be there. When I came to pick up my dog, his smell is so good and look clean. High recommend there and I am planning to let my dog there more times

If you love your pet(s) and want to guarantee that they are well taken care of than there is no better place, period! These people that work there are the type of people that if something like the apocalypse or anything happened they are straight sharing their last food and water with the animals ya dig. As a matter of fact they would help animals before people.And there is cameras all over, inside and outside and the owners physically live on the property. Their prices are extremely fair especially considering the types of people that you get around your dogs. Such as employees in school to be a veterinarian. And employees who have taken CPR classes for animals. These are not just employees that call themselves having a job. This is their way of life. They are involved in various animal organizations and rescue groups and rescue homes and their foster parents. They are truly involved in the animal, especially dogs, world. Them being an animal lover is who they are not just a position at a job. If you love your animal, like your child and you would take the time to pick out a good daycare then Baronwood Kennels is the place for you. I guarantee you will not find another place that would love your animals the way they would, which is comparable to how you love them yourself. Baronwood Kennels is more than just a kennel. It is literally a second home for your furbabies.

Our 70 lb rescue mutt had a rough life before joining our family and is highly reactive and often afraid. He has broken out of two crates so cannot be crated. The folks at Baronwood went out of their way to make it possible to get his nails trimmed. They were loving with him and did a wonderful job!

As we are moving and it's our pups last day, we have to give happy tails the raving review they truly deserve. This place is his home away from home. I always run into employees who are possibly more excited than I am to see my own dog. They take the best care of the pups here and have the best service in town. I would gladly recommend happy tails to anyone and everyone around St Louis for doggy daycare and boarding. Thank you so much to everyone at happy tails for all the love you've shown Balto over the years. We will miss this place more than you could possibly know.

Always take the girls here. The groomers do a good job and the people all genuinely care about your pets. Only complaint I can say about “grooming” categorically is that the costs are just getting way too high . It’s not a Happy tails specific problem, it’s a widespread problem. I hope that costs come back down soon. I recommend a hat you check this place out and see if you appreciate the people as much as I do.

Happy Tails lost my dog for almost 48 hours. I have been a loyal customer for four years and what happened to me this past weekend is ridiculous. I brought both of my dogs (yellow lab and black lab) to Happy Tails on Friday, June 28, 2024 at 5:45am for boarding. I was scheduled to pick them up on Sunday, June 30, 2024 before 1pm. On Sunday at approximately 12:45pm, I arrived at Happy Tails to pick up my dogs. I paid for the boarding and then they brought, what they believed to be, both of my dogs out. They successfully brought my yellow lab out, however, they brought me the wrong black lab... I informed Happy Tails of the mistake and was told that they would get my dog and that this happens sometimes with German Shepherds and Labradors. After waiting for about 15 minutes, a worker came up appearing to be flustered and nervous. The worker and a few other workers had a meeting behind the gated area and when she walked out to the waiting room, I was informed that my dog was no longer at Happy Tails. Long story short, I dropped my dog off on Friday, June 28, 2024 at 5:45am, Happy Tails gave my dog to someone else on Friday at 2:30pm, and the person that took my dog on Friday at 2:30pm didn’t return my dog until Sunday, June 30, 2024 at 2:15pm. In other words, Happy Tails gave my dog away for 47.5 hours. I was told Happy Tails would give me a refund, however, as of the time of this posting, that has not happened. Regardless of whether or not they give me a refund, they gave my dog away. It is important to note that the person Happy Tails gave my dog to assured Happy Tails it was his dog, and he initially refused to return him when they informed him of their mistake... I will not be bringing my dogs back.

I trust Happy Tails and my 2 large babies love going here. They are a 24/7 business not only looking out for your pets but also you. If they don't pick up on the first call, please wait and call back it due to all the amazing customers they are happy to serve that sometimes you have to call back or walk in. 5/5 recommend!

I have been using Happy Tails strictly for grooming for years. I cannot say enough about the stellar customer service. The people are what make Happy Tails so great. If you are considering using Happy Tails for any of their services, i highly recommend you do.

I can’t say enough about how amazing this place is. My dog has gotten groomed here twice now and every single time I am beyond happy with how she comes out. CHLOE is such a sweetheart and so talented, she spoke with me about what we want and I felt so comfortable leaving my dog with her. My dog is usually shy but she came back like a new woman.

We left our dog with them perfectly healthy, he came back with a terrible limp on his back legs. Found out today he developed intervertebral disc disease and will be paralyzed the rest of his life. This develops from being dropped, or falling. We called Happy tails and their response is we’re not responsible for any injuries that happen during our care. BEWARE ABOUT LEAVING YOUR ANIMALS HERE!!!

My 8 month old puppy absolutely loves this place! We take her here 1-2 days a week, and she gets the socialization she needs. It is really nice to have someone else tire her out because she has boundless energy. They have also handled COVID safety measures very well.

Love everyone there! They have been so attentive to my puppy even tho we are not there every week!! The orientation was wonderful and my puppy loves everyone she has come in contact with! One day I left her for a little bit, been house hunting in the area and they were more than accommodating to take her for a short time. Thank you so much for the love you have shown to my big baby Daisey!!!

Brian has been nothing but flexible and understanding while walking my dog Hooch. Hooch's temperament is a bit on the anxious side, and having Brian walk him has made a big improvement in how relaxed he is in the evening. Brian has also been very accommodating with shifting his walk schedule from time to time due to my work schedule. Great communication, and has always let me know how my dog was for the day if I ask.

Brian has been amazing! Brian has been walking my Chocolate lab since I was relocated to St. Louis in January. He is great at communicating how your pet is doing and any changes he notices. He has been super reliable and adaptable to my work schedule. I would recommend STL Happy Dogs to anyone looking for someone who cares about the care of their pet.

Brian really helped me out during my travels through St. Louis. I had tried several larger dog sitters and all were either booked, didn’t return my calls or required a meet and greet prior to my dog spending the day. Upon meeting Brian, he was immediately aware of my dog’s anxiety due to traveling. She willingly went with him which made me feel at ease about leaving her. I am so glad Brian was able to keep my dog as active as I was while we visited St. Louis. His prices are reasonable and his service was greatly appreciated.

I agree, Brian was a lifesaver! He was able to watch my dog Riley when I had some last-minute plans. We did a meet a greet and my dog loved him, she was immediately at ease! Brian was super easy-going and nice to work with. He even took care of Riley's upset stomach after getting into the trash (sorry!). I felt horrible that she got sick at his place, especially bc I was running late picking her up the next day! But he was so nice to take care of her and was not upset that I was late or at the fact she got sick at his place! He even said she was welcome back :)

Brian with STL Happy Dogs watched our 3 cats when we went on vacation recently. He was responsive and made sure they received lots of pets, food and a clean litter box. Our travel plans were disrupted and we had to stay an extra day and Brian made time to stop by and check in on the cats that extra day. It's clear he really cares about the pets he is caring for. Would highly recommend!

I had a great experience with Brian when I was a student and needed someone to care for my new cat over school breaks. He was very professional and accommodating to the specifics of what I needed, including playing with and spending time with my cat. He took great care of my neighbor's dog, too. Would highly recommend Brian/STL Happy Dogs for any dog AND/or cat care.

Brian was a miracle worker from day one. His response time was impeccable. We struggled with getting control of our rescue dog for nearly three years before we reached out to Brian & STL Happy Dogs. His presence was immediately helpful with finally integrating our dog into the household as a real family member. We have also used his boarding services when we travel and I wouldn't trust my dog more with anyone else.

Brian did a nice job taking care of my 2 kitties over a weekend. He was calm and quiet so they took to him instantly! He has reasonable prices, sent pics of my cats at his visits and he kept their food and litter bucket areas immaculately clean. I really appreciated that. I would use his services again .

Brian was very responsive when I contacted him on-line for pet sitting on short notice. He came right out to our house to meet the animals. While we were away he kept in communication with us about how it was going, especially with our dog who can sometimes be reluctant. It so happened that our neighborhood lost power due to a storm while we were away, and Brian let us know and was making sure it didn’t get too warm in the house for the animals. He visited several times a day, and was very flexible when we let him know we would be returning later than originally planned. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Brian and STL Happy Dogs, LLC again, and actually plan to in the very near future! Thank you Brian!

Brian watched our cat for two trips and we’ve been very happy with the service. He came by ahead of our first trip and learned our cat’s needs and routine. He sends text updates with a photo with each visit, which we appreciated and keeps everything tidy.

Denise and her crew gave beyond exceptional care to our pets and we couldn’t be happier with the care they got! It feels good to leave on a vacation and know they were well cared for . I highly recommend them!

I don’t think I could ever express how great Denise and her staff were to my two little jerk babies Cooper and Kirby. I have two Maltese, Copper who is 3 1/2 and Kirby who just turned 2. They aren’t the friendliest of puppies due to them being very sheltered. They bark a lot and are very annoying, but God I love it all🥰Going on my family cruise this past January 2024 for 8 days, I was left with a dilemma. My mom is the only one besides my husband and myself that can deal with the puppies, or who they will let deal with them and she was going on the family cruise also. My vet was set to board them but it was just always an issue up until the month before when she cancelled all together due to a surgery. I was in a panic and started googling professionals to come to my home and care for my puppies while gone. I came across Denise and her company. She was very professional, communicated up until our meet and greet. And did I mention very reasonable. But yet I was still scared because my dogs aren't “dog people”. The meet and greet went well with Denise and one of her staff members Jill. Cooper was being his usual ham self while Kirby was a little standoffish. I was worried but, what was I to do. I had to trust them and they made me feel as though I could trust them. The first visit when I got and update and pictures my heart immediately was at ease. And as the days went on and the videos and updates came, I knew I had made the best decision ever. My jerk babies were so taken care of and loved on by Denise, Jill and Michelle. I could never thank them enough for treating my babies so good and making me feel so great about the decision I made to hire her. And did I mention they came out in an ice storm. Denise and her team are nothing short of amazing! She and her lovely staff have taken such exceptional care of our two dogs numerous times while we’ve been out of town. Bark’n Good Time is an absolute gem in north county. Our dogs have a blast while Denise and her team are in charge, and we get detailed and timely updates and lots of great photos. Denise approaches every dog individually and is incredibly accommodating and reassuring in meeting every pup’s individual needs. We love BGT and highly, highly recommend their services!

Denise was wonderful in caring for my dog plus my friends 3 dogs and cat while we were away on vacation. She was punctual, friendly, professional, took the time to get to know each of them, and our fur babies seemed to really like her. I really appreciated how she without fail managed to send a bunch of photos of our babies at every check-in and give us a nice rundown of how they were behaving. My own dog Brix is pretty anxious in general and especially around new people but Denise was wonderful with him. She was so patient with him. You always have a fear when someone else watches your dog for you, hoping that they’re kind and will treat them as they would their own. I would definitely use Denise’s services again in caring for Brix because of that.

I love Bark N Good Time, they have been taking care of my babies for several years, whenever we are out of town. They seem to love my babies more than our family does, and we love them more than from here to eternity. My babies love the care that they receive from all Denise’s employees. We receive an update at every visit while we are away, with pictures of our pets taken and shared with us three times a day until we return home. I don’t have to ever worry if they are ok because I know they are well taken care of. Thanks to the whole crew for all you do!!

Denise and Shelby took great care of our precious TJ. Our kitty is a shy and quiet type with others and we were worried that our little kitty wouldn't open up to strangers while we were out of town. Turns out we were dead wrong, Denise and Shelby came by a couple days before our trip to see TJ and get to know him by giving him a few of his favorite treats. After that we were all worried during the trip how our boy would be. When we got the updates with pictures all our concerns went out the window! TJ was so friendly and talkative! Bark'N Good Time is one of the rare local businesses that is a treasure. We will be repeat customers and recommending them to our friends. We were so impressed with their service, they went above and beyond and even did other tasks like washed TJ's plates and checked our mail. So happy we found Denise and Shelby!

Denise has been walking my two fur babies for over 6 years. She also takes care of my geriatric cat and other critters( rats, guinea pigs, geckos, etc) when I go out of town. Being a veterinarian and a pet owner, I have very high standards. Denise and Bark N Good Time always surpass my expectations. She does a phenomenal job going above and beyond my expectations. I will never use anyone else. I recommend her to my clients and my friends.

I've been using Denise's dog walking services for several months now and she's been great! My dog Walter absolutely loves her and my other dog Ava, who rarely likes anyone because of high anxiety, has become very comfortable with her. She's very loving with the dogs and takes the cutest pics of them after their walks. I love seeing these pics and they always brighten my day!

Denise and team took fantastic care of our Buzz. They bent over backwards to accommodate us during a holiday visit to North County. Denise and her team were incredibly attentive to our dog's needs in our absence, and made sure each walker was prepared to work with Buzz (a stubborn and recalcitrant puller). Bark n Good Time was recommended to me by MO MinPin Rescue, where we adopted our little chihuahua/dachshund mix, Cosette (after previously adopting our chihuahua/MinPin mix, Heidi.) Cosette had been rescued from an abusive home and was very skittish and sad at first, but had made tons of progress to now being a happy, sweet, loving dog (as is Heidi.) Heidi didn’t do well at a good kennel the last time we went out of town. They said she was crying a lot and scared. We knew Cosette was much more emotionally fragile, and didn’t want to kennel either of them because we thought it would be harmful emotionally for them. We had never used pet sitting before. However, Denise came for a meet n greet and we felt very comfortable with her and they have great safety precautions for your home when you’re out of town, including managing the alarm system. She came over several times before we went out of town to make sure both dogs were comfortable with her, which was so nice, and it really reduced their anxiety about being with a stranger. She sent us updates with pictures every day we were out of town, and both dogs looked happy and energetic. It was so nice to not have to worry that they were unhappy. Denise made sure we were back home on time in case she needed to come over to take care of them again if we got held up coming home. Both dogs were happy to see us, and both were their normal selves and didn’t have any problems after being pet sit at home for 5 days. Prices are reasonable, and the care is excellent. We give them the highest recommendation. I’m sure everyone will be satisfied, especially if they have a pet who can be nervous/stressed because of an abusive background. Thanks so much, Denise!!!

We were skeptical about using a "service" to watch out cats instead of family, friends or neighbors. However, my husband and I travel extensively for work. Finding StL Critters and Creatures Care has been wonderful. We have been working with Cheryl and the sitters for around 4 years or so and we always comment to ourselves how lucky we are to have them. We get emails & pics of the kitties while we are away and I feel such a sense of relief knowing that they are being well cared for in my absence. I trust them 100% and highly recommend the services. Michelle is taking care of our dogs this weekend and we are already in love with her! You can tell she is a real dog lover and a very responsible person.of course the dogs love her too and snuggle up to her at our house. We feel very lucky to have found her!

Where do I begin? We can't Bragg enough about STL CCC services! We were able to leave our 3 boys in the comfort of their home during our vacation without having to worry about whether they were being taken care of and for the 1st time after a trip, we didn't need a vet visit due to illness from doggy day care! Our boys were spoiled rotten! The staff visited 3x a day which allowed potty time, outdoor playtime and meal times. It even allowed fetch time for our "ball crazy boy" and cuddle time for our snuggler! I think the thing we loved most about this company was the communication. We were sent an email update after every visit, letting us know how our boys were doing, a checklist of what had happened during the visit and, my "favorite", pictures of my babies playing! We even received text communications letting us know when one of the visits was going to be just a few minutes later than normal, due to road closures. We haven't even been home for 24hrs and we have already booked this team to care for our boys again soon. They rocked! I also have to mention that they collected the mail, swept and vacuumed, and even left the fur babies a special doggie treat; this was top notch and very much appreciated! I could go on and on......5 stars for sure!

Hounds Town did such an amazing job watching my dog, Timber! I was away in Asia and got sick while I was there so I had to extend my stay. They did a great job of making sure Timber was taken care of until I got back. They posted pictures of him so I could see how he was doing. He had a great time! Highly recommend them.

My experience with Hounds Town has been phenomenal. I was leaving for vacation and originally booked a different boarding facility however they were not able to accommodate my dog while I was away and Hounds Town was able to take him in last minute. I loved they way they were able to work with him and get him in last minute. He had a blast! They have reasonable prices and spacious facilities. 100% recommend for boarding and day care!

Connie, Mark, and the entire staff were extremely friendly, personable, and accommodating to us and our 2.5 y/o pit mix, Reese. We expressed that Reese would need low-impact activity with an on-going leg injury he has, and they were wonderful with pairing him with a couple of dogs with lower energy levels and mellow moods as to not further agitate his leg injury. We felt completely at ease boarding him for 2 nights during Thanksgiving. It is a very well-maintained and clean facility. We highly recommend Hounds Town St. Charles to anyone, as well as any cat owners as they offer cat boarding too!

My dog Lexi was boarded here this month for a weekend and will be boarding again soon. Lexi is very shy and nervous until she warms up, and the staff was so kind and patient with her. In the past when Lexi has been boarded at other places, she would run to me so fast and be ready to go when I picked her up. When I picked her up from Hound Town, Lexi stopped to say bye to some of the staff. They called me with any concerns and I love that they post pictures on their Facebook group for us to see.- I was surprised to see her playing with other dogs and she looked so happy! Their prices are great and I would definitely recommend this Hound Town location and will be using them for any future boarding or daycare!

Super friendly and accomodating staff. Genuinely saw how they were happy to work with my Super High and Over the top Energy American Bulldog. I was overjoined and appreciative of that. Our young boy is out cold, exactly what he needed. Thank you so much Hounds Town!

The whole team at houndstown has loved my pup since he was a little guy! We love the staff and the owners are incredible. We love Connie and Bill! Dash has fun every week! Even though it started because we didn’t want him to be crated for 10+ hours when I worked 10+ hours, he now is house trained and we still bring him 2 times a week just to play!

They watched my dog for a week while we were on vacation. She has a ton of anxiety, but they were so warm and understanding; they accommodated her so well at her trial that she was excited upon being dropped off! We got daily photos of her playing with dogs and having the best time. The workers (particularly Macy) really set my mind at ease and clearly love all of the dogs in their care. Will be coming back :)

The absolute best! They know my dogs so well and my dogs love it there. Facebook pictures daily are so fun to see and really put my mind at ease. I would never board them anywhere else!

My dog spent a week here. Went to pick her up today and got home she was acting different. Found red spots under her neck area. She also drooling alot and breathing heavy. Gonna have to make a vet appointment because something ain't right with her. 12-20-2024 update. My dog still not right. She still not right. She has a rash around her neck and vomit at times

Finnegan had a wonderful time. And the report card was perfect!! Such a friendly staff!! He will definitely be coming again especially in the fall!!

I’ve been here a few times and she does good job grooming BUT she quotes one price on phone then when I go pick up my two mini schnauzers it’s a higher price and I said no you quoted me this price on phone and she said well everything is going up! Really since two days before!!! I like Tina but she isn’t a good business person at all and not the friendliest person either…

We dropped our two dogs off for the weekend a while back. The lady asked for the vaccination records. They had just expired for one of the dogs and our vet couldn't fit him in that night. While my husband was on the phone with me trying to figure out what to do with our dog, the lady was on the phone calling around. She scheduled the appointment for us and we were able to get him vaccinated that night and go on our trip! Talk about going above and beyond!!!

We tried at least four other kennels before we found Gwen's. This is the only one we go to now, and have been for a couple years. Our Labrador is always happy to be here and always happy when we pick her up. With the other kennels, she was always sort of traumatized when we picked her up...she would be sad, not feeling well and it would take her a couple days to get back to normal. Not here though...she is always happy as can be and feeling great. They have fair prices, are super friendly and our dog is happy...love this place!

Most reasonable boarding prices ever! My two labs stayed here for 3 days during an in-town family visit, and they acted normal after pickup so I know they were well taken care of.

Nice facility for the dogs and the price was reasonable. My reason for giving it a low score I called months ahead to reserve a spot and I told the owner what kind of dogs I had which are 2 huskys and 1 German shepard . The day I had to go drop them off the owner tells me she cannot take the German shepard because he is aggressive. She then starts going on how she has more issues with German shepard than pit bulls and usually does not take them. Okay if you have all these issues with German shepard then why would you not tell me that on the phone when I called to reserve a spot months ago?! So then I had to rush around at the last minute to find my German shepard a place to stay. Also the lady is not friendly. I would say if you have small dogs it's a great place for your dogs to stay and great pricing. I unfortunately will not be using this place in the future.

I just picked up are dog this evening. We boarded her Friday July 14 5pm and picked her up Sunday July 16 at 5pm. We had them give her a bath and trim her nails. She is limping badly now. I'm beyond upset with this situation. Nothing was mentioned about her paws being sore. She is hobbling around the house and doesn't even want to go outside because her paws are hurting her. She had no issues before dropping her off. Are dog is like family to us and it is very upsetting to see her like this!!!

I have used Gwen's for family Vacation stays for our dog for the past 3 yrs.... The professionalism is unmatched. Gwen's Dog House is not an anthropomorphous Shangri-la. It's a nice, clean, and "no Frills" family owned Kennel and Boarding facility. If you want the Four Seasons, pay for it!! Our dog always enjoys her vacation time there. She always smells fresh and is in great spirits when we have had her in, (as long as 11days). Contrary to the other reviews, our dog is still potty trained properly. Gwen's has the best rates, flexible pickup/dropoff and is a local non-corporate business!!!

Beau just started daycare due to it being winter (cold and dark when we get home). I love that Beau gets to play a couple days a week and get some energy out. The tea dry in we picked No Leash Needed was that the dogs free play all day. Other places kept dogs in small secluded rooms most of the day with limited play time. We also love being able to watch Beau on live view. We have peace of mind bringing Beau here!

Everything about this place sends positive energy. Workers are attentive and kind and organized. I had grooming appointments for my two small dogs and I was very pleased. Drop off was easy and I felt like my dogs were in great hands. I was notified when they were ready and pickup was a breeze. The price was reasonable. I have already been telling my dog park group about this place. They are great!

Katie did an amazing job grooming my little man! Best cut he’s ever had, complete with a bow tie to match his markings <3 The rest of the staff was all very friendly and good with him as well. Thank you guys! We look forward to going back :)

Our puppy was in a 3 week training program and I’m highly impressed on how well Ayla has responded to the training. Lina, the trainer, was very personable, professional, and flexible with our schedules. We have seen amazing improvement with our puppy and would recommend this trainer to everyone!

Rescued my pittie/mix puppy and wanted to get him off to the right start so enrolled him in the 2 week puppy training classes. His trainer Lina was fantastic. Noticed his manners and skills right away. He subsequently had a couple health issues that kept him out of training for 2 weeks right in the middle of his training path. During that time he still retained the lessons he had learned the first week and then once he was back at training again for the second half he quickly built upon those skills and new training skills until his completion. I also loved how they would incorporate him into the daycare/group play during this time so he can adjust to other dogs and learn to play appropriately in addition to his training. I would definitely recommend the puppy training course and Lina to anyone looking for puppy training!

Louie is always very happy to go to No Leash Needed St Charles for day camp. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. They take very good care of him when we have to board him. We have peace of mind knowing Louie is having fun and taken good care of.

I am so pleased with the progress my dog has made since beginning training! She is a 15 month old rescue who had not been trained before. She is very energetic and playful, but was lacking even basic manners. The difference in her attention and willingness to work after only 1 week of our 3 week program is amazing. She is also able to join the play group during the day, which has helped her animal socialization skills TREMENDOUSLY! We have 2 kittens in the house that she is no longer chasing, just sniffing after playing with so many new, furry friends! I am so glad we found No Leash Needed & Ms. Lina! Thank you! Sometimes they are.a little over crowded for me. They'll have small, medium & large dogs all together and I'm not talking about the seniors area. I've seen on camera where all the dogs were in a single room. That bothers me. Otherwise the place has decent boarding.prices & they don't seem to mistreat or be impatient with the dogs.

Honey loves going to No Leash Needed! We had to board her for a 10 night stay, and we are so glad we had her there. Not only were we able to access the WebCams during the day and see who she was playing with, and how much fun she was having, but they provided us with a daily report card and photos. They really treat her like family there. We highly recommend No Leash Needed in Saint Charles!

Frankie is very energetic, smart Aussie! He did puppy preschool at the no leash needed in St Charles and worked with Lina. Lina was amazing! She’s a very firm trainer but that’s what puppies need. In addition to the wonderful training we got from Lina, we take Frankie about once a week to daycare while my husband and I work from home and he absolutely loves it! He always gets so excited he’s trying to run into the door before they get a leash on him. I highly recommend the training (especially Lina!) at no leash needed and the daycare - the entire staff is so friendly and the fact that Frankie can barely contain his excitement when we get there is a testament to how well they treat your dog!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. All the staff is amazing, especially Aaron Greenwood. I have 3 dogs (1 small and 2 large) and they were amazing with them. My chihuahua is very skittish and doesn’t come to anyone, and in a pupdate it mentioned that he came up to one of the staff members and gave kisses wanting pets. That never happens! Petropolis is a magical place where scared skittish dogs have tons of fun and get lots of love and attention. Any special accommodation’s my dogs needed they were prepared for and happy to accommodate. Thank You Petropolis! My pups love it there!

We had our little rescue dog spend the day at Petropolis. It was the first time in 6 months that she had been away from us since her adoption. She was so scared and the people at Petropolis were wonderful! They stayed by her side all day and helped her stay calm and relaxed. We will be returning for another daytime play session!

My 7 month old Rottie spent a weekend at Petropolis while I was in town for a conference. The staff made me feel like my sweet girl was the most special dog in the world. They were all so warm and the “pup-dates” were everything. They sent me cute photos all weekend and I felt like my girl was truly cared for. If I’m ever back in town- I will 10/10 go again. 💛 If I could edit this review and give this company an even higher rating- I would. The day before our second trip to Petropolis- my pups had a little accident and was unable to attend camp for the week as she as stitches, staples and a nasty wound. Petropolis sent my sweet girl a care package and we didn’t even get to stay with them. This business is warm, kind and incredibly genuine. If you are a pet parent that loved your pet like a child- I 10/10 recommend Petropolis!

Wonderful experience! Took two of my high maintenance dogs to the St Charles location for a full groom. I have nothing but nice things to say about the service. Natalie Butler was my groomer and did an outstanding job.

Took my 11 month old, 70lb Bernedoodle to Petropolis for the first time today. They did a great job and he looks great! Everything from the initial call to schedule his appointment to picking him up after his grooming went seamlessly. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I will definitely be using them again. I don't normally leave reviews so you know I am highly satisfied for me to do so and to give 5 stars. Highly recommend them.

Fantastic doggie day care center! I take my Cavalier their every week. She loves romping around with all the other dogs in the huge outdoor play area, which has little streams, waterfalls,, rocks, and other fun places to run or just sit and watch everything that is going on. Great place to socialize with big and small dogs of all breeds. The staff is caring and kind. They greet everyone with a smile when you drop off your precious pup. They love their animals. I recommend Petropolis to all by dog loving friends. :)

I cannot give this company a better review! They take wonderful care of my boxer! He gets soooo happy as soon as we pull in the parking lot. Tank is so full of energy and ready to play as soon as he steps foot out of the car. They are always happy to see him and his energy! Yesterday was Tank's birthday, and they sure did celebrate his day! They sent me a sweet pupdate and sent him home with a card and gift! I was soooo happy it truly just made my heart so happy. They had a foam party yesterday and from what I could tell he really enjoyed it! If you are thinking of taking your pup.... you should! They will be so happy!

Jango always seems chill and not overly anxious when we drop off and pick up. He got a bath and nails done and it was reasonable. Thank you for giving us a weekend away and the feeling of security that Jango is well cared for.

Absolutely loved the grooming that Stephanie did on my Bella. Stephanie took the time to ask questions and familiarize herself with Bella. Bella looks great and it took no time at all. Love the in and out option available.

Amazing place for dog lovers... and their dogs! Really like the quality of grooming. Our four year old Cockapoo...Arlo... really does well here. They really connect with the dogs and it lessens the anxiety of grooming. He stays for doggy day camp. Clean. Fun. Nice people. Fair pricing. Good location. We go to Page n Lindbergh so I can drop off on way to work and p u after. Arlo has been a guest 3x. Many more lay ahead.

I normally have a pretty good experience especially at the page and Lindbergh location but for some reason when I picked up my pets from a 6 night/7 day stay, I was given back 5 meals worth of food for my cats, which shouldn’t have happened because I individually packed each meal for each pet. The staff went over feeding instructions with me as normal when I dropped off so I thought we had everything settled. Everything else about the stay was fine but I’m concerned that no one mentioned anything to me about the food, or thought to question why there was so much left.

We brought in our newly adopted, 200-pound, adult Saint Bernard, who desperately needed grooming, and they did an outstanding job. The hardest part for them - in addition to his dirty matting and gigantic size - was my mistake of over-tranquilizing him prior to the appointment. 🙄 He is in a totally new environment with us as it is (four days only), then he went to the vet the day before (freak-out), then to the groomers. Poor guy was overwhelmed. So, I gave him too much medication, and they ended up with a 200-pound hairy blob. 🥺 They worked on him all day and then had to contend with his coming out of the fog later on. He was none too pleased by that time. But, he is so clean and good-smelling! They even called the next day to see how he was doing. We will definitely make it a regular habit to take him there. (Hopefully, that's okay with them!)

Hunter has trained Clark several times and has done a great job! Clark listens well to commands, is gentle with new people and loves other dogs - well socialized! Kennelwood has been so great!!

All the staff here are so awesome! Due to something I had to board my dog for about 3 weeks. Was pretty worried due to her not getting along with other animals. Nothing once happened. She was stressed but I could tell she loved her stay. It helped that the staff treat all animals like their own. My words and 5 stars is not enough to slightly explain how great this place is! Moving back into the area after a 22 year absence, Kennewick didn't disappoint. I had my two large mix breed dogs groomed. They did an excellent job. They are not the cheapest, but in my opinion, they're the best!

I have full confidence in Kennelwood. They really care about their furry friends and my dog was so happy to go in to stay and happy when we picked him up! They follow directions very well. They give great treats too! The care is consistent and reliable at different locations as well.

I was somewhat concerned that you fed my little dog all of the dog treats I had included in the bag. Way too much!!! I always include extra meal bags and treats …. Just in case something should happen and he needed to be there longer. I would think that your staff would have a better sense of what is appropriate to feed a small dog. Hopefully this comment gives food for thought. Otherwise I know he was treated well.

Overall a good experience. There was a lot of missed info I didn't receive. Especially, since this is my 1st time owning a dog and using kennel services. Didn't realize any uneaten food would be tossed. My puppy barely ate during her visit so about 3 days of food was just thrown away. She was constipated from holding her bowels and urine because the area they go is all concrete. She is used to going on grass so I knew that would be a problem. But I was told she would be walked in a grassy area if she wasn't going. Upon pickup she was clean and in good spirits. No hidden or unexpected fees were added to my bill. All the staff, especially Debbie and Amie, were so nice, polite and answered my questions fully. I would recommend and use this establishment in the near future again.

We use Kennelwood regularly to give our dog a bath and nail file and throw in a doggie day camp. The staff is very friendly and works well with the animals. They remember my dog's name even though he doesn't go that often. We also use them for boarding our dog and cat when we are away on vacations and they do an excellent job. When I take my dog there and we turn on Kratky road the light bulb goes off in his dog brain and he gets very excited when he realizes where we are.
