Erica watched my senior dog and cat for 12 days while I was traveling internationally. She was organized, responsive, and took excellent care of both my animals and my apartment while I was away. She sent me photos during the stay and my pets absolutely adored her. She has watched my pets before and I always trust her to take excellent care of them. Traveling internationally and leaving my pets in the care of a sitter always makes me a little nervous, since I won't always be immediately reachable. However, Erica's communication and obvious competency made me feel very comfortable about leaving my pets in her care while I was away. It's very obvious she adores spending time with the pets and caring for them. I came home to a clean apartment and very happy and healthy pets. I would highly recommend Erica for any of your sits!

I’m sure most folks say the nicest things about their sitter, but honestly, if there were a “super star” status available then Denise would win the prize as sitter of the year! From the start, Denise was an excellent communicator. While we were still in the decision phase, Denise was always available to chat either by FaceTime, telephone or text. It was so easy to choose Denise; as you can see from her countless 5 star reviews, she truly is the only pet sitter you’d ever need and the one everyone hopes to have. Denise came to our house eager to meet us, our pets and the quirks of our house. Denise has an excellent sense of humor and immediately put us all at ease. Our pets took to her as if she was a long lost friend (even our finicky Siamese cat was loving on her from the start). While we were gone, our dog had a non-emergency health issue come up and just like that Denise was taking her to our vet, and administered the dog’s meds like a champion (Denise is also a nurse BTW). Additionally, Denise brought our pup to her scheduled groom appointments and even made future appointments for us to make our return home as seamless as possible. Denise was even above and beyond helpful to our neighbors and they appreciated her giving them access to our refrigerator when theirs broke down on Thanksgiving Eve! When we got home we were super impressed by how perfectly immaculate our house was! Most sitters leave the house clean, but Denise met and may have even exceeded our military standards of clean and orderly. Seriously, our house felt like we never left it. Everything was spotless, shinny and clean. She didn’t miss a beat!! Our pets were so happy to see us but honestly, I felt like our pup and kitty were disappointed when we walked in the door (I believe they were expecting to see Denise!). Haha. If you are ever fortunate enough to have Denise apply for any of your sits then I can’t recommend her enough. Seriously, you can stop reviewing applicants and just go with Denise. She was awesome in every sense of the word and I hope she’ll come back and stay with our pets again.

Joanna and David were wonderful sitters for our dog Broderick and our apartment. Before starting to sit for us they took time to come and meet Broderick which we were very appreciative of. During their time sitting for Broderick we got great updates every day and wonderful photos of our pup, and they were very responsive whenever needed. When we got back home we found a happy puppy, healthy plants, and a spotlessly clean apartment - they had even taken the time to wash sheets and towels and left us a kind thank you note. We would have them sit for us again in a heartbeat!

They took very good care of my pets which involved feeding cats twice daily, fish once or twice a day and filling up fountain for birds. Animals were healthy and happy when I returned. Nothing was lost or broken, and Diane even found a lost grinder part that had fallen into the cats food while I was using it. They are a pleasant couple. They were invited from Wednesday to Sunday. They arrived on Monday so had 3 days instead of one to learn the pets routine. They also informed me that they wouldn't be leaving until Monday morning, but that worked out well since I was mistaken about the end date of my cruise and couldn't get home until Monday. Everything was left neat, but I had minor housekeeping to do (clean sink, fingerprints off glass table, sweep floor). They are older than stated on the profile, which they said only allows 65 as a top age. 68 and 73. Bruce has health problems that requires he sleeps sitting up in a chair that has a leg lift, which luckily I had, so he slept in my living room. They are fine caring for cats, but my friend with a dog decided to find another sitter rather than leave him with them (she was going to pay) because they seem somewhat frail.

Angela was fantastic. She came a day early to meet us and our dog Bella and to get the lay of the land and we so enjoyed meeting her and getting to know her! She took care of our home and Bella with the utmost care and attention. She was great to communicate with throughout the sit and we felt confidant being away knowing our dog and home were in such good hands! We returned to a clean house and she even prepared dinner for us! It was clear that Bella was happy, well taken care of and very fond of her!! We would definitely recommend Angela. Julie is THE BEST. We like to go on regular snowboarding trips, road trips, and other adventures and always feel like our two kitties are in good hands while we’re gone. She sends updates, takes care of literally everything (food, water, play time, litter boxes), and even brought our trash bin up from the curb when we were gone for trash day. Plus, our cats warmed up to her right away, which is a whole testimonial in and of itself. Julie’s easy going, super easy to work with, and really just great all around. Great boarding facilities, grooming, and day care. I recently started bringing my 3 dogs here. The staff has all been fantastic to interact with. My dogs have all been well received and are well cared for.
My dog absolutely loves going here. They have a great facility and atmosphere for both daycare and boarding. The staff is very professional, nice, and communicate well between each other. My dog is always treated well and I can tell they truly care about the dogs. Highly recommended!
Wasn't the place for me, although I know people who speak highly of it. My old boarding place ran the dogs with daycare dogs, so they got lots of exercise, plus the last walk for boarded dogs was at 9 pm, not 6 pm like this place. Their cheaper pens are likely too small for my 2 dogs, so I'd have to upgrade to the premium pen. Then, there's a charge to have them with the daycare group. That is just too expensive for me, and they touted their clean-up process, but there was poop in 2 empty lots. My recommendation is to tour the joint yourself and see what your opinion is.
We are obsessed with Dogwoods. We used to live in Olympia and would bring Rocket to their daycare all the time. Every time he came home exhausted and happy. We have moved to Seattle and haven’t found anywhere that we love as much as Dogwoods. When we work in Olympia we always make sure to bring Rocket so he can see his old friends at Dogwoods. Even when weeks or months go by since Rocket has been there, they always remember him and he’s always thrilled to be dropped off. We even make the trip down from Seattle for boarding at Dogwoods when we travel because it’s so nice to leave him with trusted people he loves- even worth the 3-4 hour round trip to drop him off. We are so thankful for the folks at Dogwoods for loving Rocket as much as we do! ❤️
Dogs seem to be happy. The areas look big and my dogs return tired. Prices are good, especially with the packages. Staff is nice. The only thing I will say is I hope they come out with an app so you can see dogs through the cameras like Camp Bow Wow has. That would be amazing! Overall, really great but the cameras would put it over the top and we would come more often.

This is the most amazing dog day care I have ever been too. I’m visiting from out of town and I wish something like this existed back home. The staff is so friendly!
My pup loves coming here for daycare--she greets all the staff happily every morning and is always in a great mood coming home. Staff clearly love the dogs and treat them well--they even recently let me know they noticed something so I could get it checked out with my vet. Prices are good and the indoor and outdoor dog areas are great, but it's the dog-loving staff that really make this place.
I went to pick up my dog and was able to see them grab him from the kennel via the surveillance cam in the lobby. When they opened his door, he jumped up and down and snuggled and was so excited to see the staff member. He was clearly treated well and happy while we were away. Everyone I've interacted with has been so kind and friendly and seems to go the extra mile to make every single dog feel safe, secure and loved. They're also VERY reasonably priced for everything that you get. They're the only facility where I'll board my dog. Can't recommend their services enough.

The BEST boarding and spa in the area. Our Poppy can be a bit sensitive and have GI issues with boarding, but we finally got into here and she had no problems. On top of that she seems so happy and we love how the groomers made her look cuter than usual. The employees were so nice and attentive, even as I observed with other dogs, they truly love pets. The daily reports and pictures were so important when it came to my own nerves. I can't imagine a better place to board or groom our precious Poppy.

Friendly Grove did a great job taking care of our cat for a few days before he traveled abroad to meet up with us in Europe. They work closely with Across the Pond pet shipping so they know all the procedures and paperwork required. Friendly Grove has a wonderfully tranquil facility and I'm sure they will care for your pet just as well as they did ours.
I have been coming here for years and I love the customer service and fun monthly theme parties. This includes a variety of theme birthday/moving away parties! In addition to enriched daycare, Friendly Grove offers boarding and grooming. Below is a picture of my dogs in their theme birthday party and their favorite staff Madison.
They are really an awesome facility. The staff is awesome and does excellent grooming on my dogs. The facility is huge and has the ability to groom and board and the grounds are huge and beautiful! Highly recommend them.
Our canine friend enjoys his time at Friendly Grove. We sure do enjoy the beautiful environment he gets to participate in all day. Over the past year, they've really taken care to ease this puppy into the lifetime of grooming needs he'll face as a Groodle. Lots of breaks, playtime, going potty, and staying hydrated. They've trained him for their own practices and procedures. They will give him the food I provide for his lunch. They take the time to go over the cut before hand, at the drop off. They are very busy, very well scheduled, and managed quite well. Their price is a fair trade for services rendered under the conditions he enjoys. They commit the time to our hairy friend, and he's always happy to see them. That speaks volumes to his excellent treatment while attending day spa therapy. ;)

We have used Friendly Grove for our dog for the past four years. They have done an exceptional job taking care of Bo. They take great care of her. They contacted us once to let us know she had some stomach issues (most likely something she ate prior to dropping her off) discussed care options and provided treatment. Then they followed up to let us know she was fine so we wouldn't worry during our vacation. Bo enjoys going there and playing with her friends. We are able to enjoy our trips knowing she is being taken good care of.

Awful rude owner. she is a bully with extreme over the top test and vaccine demands. Facility looks super make-shift and dirty. But the paperwork and demands are extremely elaborate. She violated my right to privacy with my vet. Only to find out everything I told her was true. I did everything she asked and then she asked for more. One can only hope she treats the dogs better than their owners but I am not certain. One of her dogs seems very aggressive but she had someone in the yard calming him down to not show his true colors when I was there. I do not think he is safe to be around. I was not allowed to stay and observe for the first time my young pup was to be there. She thinks she is extremely smart because she was once a vet tech... not a vet.. just a vet tech... alas dumb and small minded people think they know it all....and think they have some moral and intellectual superiority. I assure you, none there. Use at your own risk.
Love this lady and she loves dogs so much that they are treated like family. No cages for these pups! There's a large fenced-in yard to play in and a living room-like heated structure to lounge around in, complete with a couch for visitors and bean bag chairs for the pooches. You will not regret leaving your fur-babies with Leslie if you live in the area.

Peaceful Paws is truly home away from home for my pup. He gets plenty of exercise with other wonderful dogs and lots of love and care. Room to run, space to chill, "friends" to socialize with. I have used other boarding facilities before but this one is hands down the best!

What a treasure to find a dog lover to watch my dog while I’m at work each day, she runs around with her pals and gets exercise, socialized and I get to love on her in relax time after work. The plus is vacations are a breeze, she is accustom to her doggie day care so overnight is a welcome vacation for her and me. Beccie was great! She was kind and worked with me on drop off and pick up times because of my non-traditional work schedule. The space she has for cats was fabulous, it was clean and there was no animal smell or dirt anywhere. She made sure my cat was up to date on vaccines and had me fill out paperwork describing her food schedule. I'd absolutely use The Cat's Pajamas again and highly recommend it to anyone who cares about their cat.
I can't say enough good things about Beccie at Cats Pajamas! This was our first time boarding Pistachio here, and it couldn't have been a better experience. Right from the start, Beccie made us feel like family. She greeted us warmly and showed genuine care for Pistachio's well-being. The place itself is spotless and has such a cozy vibe - you can tell Beccie puts her heart into every detail. With Beccie's years of experience, we felt completely at ease leaving Pistachio in her care. Meeting the other cats staying there was a bonus; it felt like a little cat community! What I really appreciated was the lack of pressure. Beccie gave us space to settle in and didn't rush us at all. It was clear she genuinely loves what she does and cares deeply for all the cats she looks after. Beccie the owner is so kind and accommodating, you can definitely trust her to take good care of your cats. The building/facilities have many toys, beds, and other items to enrich your cats. she lets them all out to roam around so they don't feel cooped up. Great experience every time I bring my two cats to Cats Pajamas!
My cat Scooter stayed here for 2 weeks while my husband and I traveled for our wedding/honeymoon. After reading the reviews and speaking with the owner I knew Scooter would be well taken care of. The owner’s friendliness and kindness was consistent in every interaction I had. When picking him up I was given time to give Scooter some love and see the other cats. Scooter seemed very pleased with his stay. The location is cute, calm and quiet. I’d stay here if I could. We will always use The Cat’s Pajamas for our boarding needs.
Amazing place for your cat! I almost wanted to not post so I could keep it a secret, but Beccie and Terry are so fabulous, and your cat deserves to enjoy this place if you need to be gone, that I just had to. Terry took extra effort to build a ventilation system for the cattery and there isn't one whiff of litter boxes in the place. There's a lot of space for the cats to roam, and it's a wonderful environment for your cat! Highly recommend!!
These guys are the best in the state by far...these people are kind and really care about cats. 5 stars. Owners recently had to coordinate with one of my cats vet when my poor baby got sick from an earlier dental operation while I was out of town and cats were boarded at cats pajamas...she got the kitty meds and even tricked my cat into taking them for 3 days:)... we are all healthy now and I will continue using cats pajamas for my 2 kitties :) cats love it there...
Wonderful facility! We used their boarding facility during our move and it was extremely well priced, the owners are super friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere was very calm. We have a kitty who stresses out REALLY bad during boarding and was previously not allowed to return to two other boarding places due to his aggression under stress. They accepted him with open arms and respected his space while he was there. I highly recommend this facility over others in the area due to better accommodations and quieter atmosphere.
I am Rocky and a 10 year old slightly undertall cat. First I want to say Cat’s Pajamas is the place to go when your human goes on vacation. I had lots of sleeping room, and my cubical had lots of fresh air through a carefully made ventilation system, I barely noticed the fine friends around me at the beginning. The human (I hear her name is Becky) cleaned the box three times a day, gave me the pills I needed to keep my food down (got a little gastro issue) and generally loved and cared for me. The best part, big screen TV with tropical fish rolling around around all day and night. Not even pay per view. Definitely getting my own TV when I am home. I am looking forward to going here again next time my humans go away.

We absolutely love Emily’s Wood Pack for our two dogs. Our dogs needed some socializing after the pandemic and they were nervous, but they made sure to communicate what days had calmer dogs, and always update with pictures. I would say they are even more affordable with boarding than other locations in the area considering how much love, attention, and space they are given. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. You can tell all the employees love the pets. Honestly amazing!
We are so happy with the care our puppy gets at Emily’s Woof Pack! It’s affordable, high-quality dog care that our pup absolutely loves. He always comes home happily exhausted after his visits, and now he even cries with excitement whenever we drive by the Walgreens nearby. The staff is incredibly professional and friendly, and I love how dog-centric the check-in and check-out process is—it makes everything easy and stress-free. Plus, the location is super convenient for anyone near JBLM, Lakewood, or Steilacoom. Highly recommend Emily’s Woof Pack for your furry family members!
Emily has always been professional, prompt and friendly. She is incredibly knowledgeable about dogs and supportive of her pet sitting community, providing resources and referrals if she isn’t available or the right fit for your pet. She gives her heart to each dog in her care and will love them like her own while they’re in her home. She is the ONLY person we trust to care for our cats, in our home, when we travel. She sends video updates and pictures so you know your babies are happy. Bring your dogs to Emily, you won’t regret it! Emily went above and beyond answering all of my nervous dog mom questions before booking. Upon arrival, Alex and Sierra were patient with Sunny while he got accustomed and they sent several photo pupdates throughout the day. Best of all, Sunny is less nervous with new dogs and people after his ONE day running with the pack. Seriously, bring your dog to Emily’s Woof Pack.
Our Doggo loves her time at Emily’s! She made it super easy to find a day that we could come out and do a trial for a new daycare. Our dog had a great time! And Emily sent us an update on her first day to let us know she’s doing ok. Love that they have outdoor space for the doggos. Will definitely be back!
Emily has been amazing with our fur baby, Diesel. She has sat for him dozens of times over the last few years and he always comes home happy. She is great with text updates when we are out of town. Emily Wolf Pack has been the best decision we ever made for our dog. Our dog went to day care once a week for a few months and he was the happiest. He was always excited they day he was picked up and came home happy and tired. We never had any trouble with the team working there or with our dog while he was taken care. They are very attentive, Professional, flexible and have great communication. I will for sure recommend this place!!
You will not find a better Doggy Day Care experience than EWP. The Pack Leaders engage with the pups continuously during the day and my two come home happy and tired. This team cares about each dog individually - they are a joy to leave my fur kids with.
I am so greatful for my coworker and fellow nurse telling me about Emily's. She brings her Pups and Cat here and she could not have been more spot on for a great daycare for my Archie. He will be 5 this year and we have had our share of not good experiences at 2 other places and then we found Emily's. Professoinal, carring, kind, just the best people. You will have no worries. I would definitely recommend Emily's Woof Pack to anyone looking for a daycare or boarding for their pups! We adopted our dog about a year-and-a-half ago and he was quite the handful. He didn't do well at a large daycare facility, and I was nervous to try again and leave him with anybody. Emily was willing to work with him and now he loves going over to her house! I love that she does overnight trials and a thorough screening process to make sure all of the dogs will get along before their first day of daycare. 10/10 would recommend 🥰🐾
Emily is a wonderful pet sitter (and human being!) and I trust her to the moon and back to give my pup excellent care. We had a lovely conversation before giving my dog a trial run at her house to figure out if my rescue dog's personality would fit in with the other dogs in the Pack. With my initial concerns about my dog's nervous and anxious behavior put to rest, I was able to leave her with Emily for 24 hours to test the waters. Emily sent photos and gave updates and determined that my dog was ready for a longer stay. Now, I'll leave my dog for her "vacation" with Emily this Christmas while I travel to visit family. <3 Emily came on high recommendation from my rescue, and I'm so glad I heard about her!
