Julia is fantastic. On first visit discussed what I wanted and what she would do. Prices are very reasonable. Two of the best things about Mutts Manor is that my dogs like going there which is the most important for me and they smell so good afterwards!

I cannot speak high enough about Julia and Mutts Manor. Our 2 labradoodles (sadly now 1 RIP Brucey age 13 a great age for a big doodle) have been staying with Julia for quite a few years now and they love it. Our dogs are part of our family and I have full trust in Julia when it comes to looking after them, Julia will message us with photos whilst we are away and tell us how they are. They always come home very happy and smelling nice as we always have them groomed when they stay with Julia. The gardens are all very secure and where they sleep is inside the house and all very clean. Thank you Julia you are lovely I wouldn’t want to leave Oscar with anyone else.

An excellent 5* doggy hotel that our dog Humphrey loves going to! He runs in with a big waggy tail and lots of kisses for Julia which means we go on holiday without any worry or separation anxiety. The new website is a comprehensive showcase for the best facilities for pooches around!! Humphrey can’t wait for his next stay. Well done Mutt’s Manor team 👏👏😀🐶

I have been using Honey Hole Dog walking services for a few months now and it's been fantastic. Lisa a dog lover and is very professional in her work. She is great with my retriever Dexter who seems to be more excited for Lisa's arrival than my own arrival home. Lisa handles Dexter's possessive traits towards tennis balls excellently and ensures that he is well exercised. I would certainly recommend Lisa to all dog owners.

Been using Lisa’s services since we got our greyhound. Ray absolutely loves Lisa and I think the feeling is mutual. She’s a complete professional whilst also showing she clearly loves what she does and going the extra mile. She cares for his safety and happiness, always keeping us updated on weather forecasts and giving us options of a house visit rather than a walk if it gets too hot. Couldn’t recommend her enough!

I found Lisa on Google and she was able to do some Pet Sitting for us while we were away. Our dog quickly felt right at home with her which was amazing because usually he is wary of new people. We kept in touch while away and Lisa even sent us the odd photo, video and update which was great and made us feel really at ease. Now he starts getting excited when he knows she's coming! Lisa remains the only person we would entrust our lab Max to for any extended period. Max is young, lively and sometimes boisterous but she kindly and calmly keeps him in his place! She demonstrates her love of dogs and animals of all kinds again and again. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Honey Hole Pet Services.

Used Lisa @ honey hole pet services to walk our dogs whilst we were away on holiday and the dogs were staying with my elderly parents as well as days when work got in the way. Lisa was great as we didn't need her on a regular basis but by giving her a list of dates well in advance she was able to accommodate. Receiving photos of the dogs on their walk is also really reassuring especially when using a new service

I have used Honey hole Pet Service for several years. Lisa takes exceptional care of my rabbits and they are happy and well looked after in her care. She is reliable and flexible even when I have had to rearrange at short notice. I would recommend Honey Hole pets and will continue to use this service in the future.

Lisa is a fantastic dog walker/pet sitter. She genuinely cares about every animal she walks or looks after. My dog runs her down the path as he loves his walks with her so much. Would recommend to anyone.

I used Honey Hole Pet services for over 2 years and will again should I need help looking after Alfie my Westie. I have been using Honey Hole Dog walking services for 1 year now. Lisa clearly loves what she does and approaches her daily walks with passion and has a fab relationship with my two fluff monsters Arla and Torrin. They look forward to their walks and always come back happy. They like to present her with challenges which she manages with calm professionalism. Lisa is reliable, professional and an honest professional. She will often go that mile above.

Lisa has been a very reliable dog walker. Barks is at the back door waiting for her every Thursday and she never fails. She will always go the extra mile when I need additional sitting and I am very grateful for that flexibility. Her crafty things are great too. My favourite is my dog jigsaw but she has a super selection of small personalised gifts.

We had not even considered placing our puppy in kennels , but after being let down by our planned home boarder the day we were due to travel to our holiday, after many frantic distressed phone calls we came across posh paws . Honestly , they were just so lovely as we were so distressed at leaving him in kennels . We had no need to worry we returned today to a very happy clean well adjusted puppy who clearly had great affection for the staff there . They looked after him superbly. They very kindly sent us some messages and video's while we were away . We missed his first snow so to receive a video of him playing in the snow was priceless. Would definitely recommend and despite us being against kennels initially we would send him back to posh paws . Thank you for everything x

This was the first time for our 10 months old dog. It was the cleanest, warmest and the brightest of all the kennels we have seen. They are a luxury dog hotel so my expectations were high. Our dog spent 9 days there and came back happy, clean, well fed ( we opted for our own food ) and he don’t smell of kennels at all. During his stay he was booked for two one hour sessions in daycare to play with other dogs which was a great addition to his stay. It is rather expensive but you get what you pay for so worth every penny. The only thing that can be done better is sending daily updates to the owners. Just one picture a day with a happy dog can make a day for a worried owner ( or crazy dog maniac in my case ) I can highly recommend this place.

We have used Posh Paws for 2 years and use them regularly for our beloved German Shepherd. We drive an hour to get there and wouldn't leave him anywhere else .

We don't usually kennel our dogs, but had no choice due to a family wedding. They were returned to us happy, clean and well fed. I'd only ever choose Posh Paws again, it's worth every penny. Loki and Scooby would agree! Thanks to Posh Paws for caring for our dogs so we'll xx

Can't express our gratitude enough to these guy's. Our Staffie Belle who's extremely anxious had a great time! When we picked her up, she looked well, obviously eaten which at another kennels she refused to eat. Lola our beautiful rescue which we've only had since November and came from Bosnia and we were really nervous as she's been through a lot in her 3 years. Also the kennel was spotless, they had a television too! They kept us up to date on how they were getting on, we had video's of them playing and running. Excellent dog hotel, beautiful fields for exercise and a field to be let off for a run. The dogs hotel rooms are pristine clean, big, cast iron bed with duvet, windows with curtains, under floor heating, TV and radio. Very highly qualified staff Anyone reading these reviews can now add reviews also to Trustpilot. Beautiful and super clean, no doggy smells, and my Alaskan Malamute loved it. We can’t express our gratitude for the amazing care of our two babies, this is our first time leaving them with someone who’s not family and from the first visit we were so impressed, the staff are all so welcoming and helpful, we were sent daily updates and photos, we have collected them today and they are happy, they have eaten all their meals which is a big indication they were relaxed and happy, we would definitely recommend and will be using again in the future, Thank you to all the team at Posh Paws for taking such good care of our fur babies

We love the guys at posh paws, our boy is super nervous and Sarah, Scott and the team listened to us and treated Riley like one of their own. He looks forward to going and we can't thank them enough for making him feel like home away from home!

Our dog stayed for 3 weeks with Posh Paws. We got regular updates on how he was with videos, pictures and messages. He was looked after so well by the staff, giving him play time in their outdoor obstacle area and walks etc. The staff clearly love their jobs and being around the animals. This is the second time he has stayed here and he loved it both times and was super happy throughout. Couldn't be happier with the service, highly recommend.

We have been using Posh Paws since November 22 for our GSD, Clyde, and when we arrive at the kennels he jumps out the boot and runs up to the office to see who is there to welcome him. He loves all of the team and is quite happy to walk off and leave us to go to his room! I am so glad we found Posh Paws and know Clyde is so well looked after by everyone. Thanks.🐾🐾

Vickie has been walking our 3 dogs for over three years. Can’t recommend Vickie enough to anyone looking for a dog walker as we would be lost without her, I’ve never seen our dogs as excited as they get when Vickie arrived to pick them up and she goes over and above each and every time

Vickie is by far the best! The cats love her and they can be a bit selective on a good day. Its brilliant that I can go away with the peace of mind that someone else is looking after them just as well as I would if I were home. I 100% recommend Vickie to anyone, she's really affordable and I dont think id trust anyone else to do as good of a job as she does. Thanks a lot Vickie!! A+++++ service!

Auntie Vickie looked after Ben the cat for a week. He wasn’t stressed when we got back, most probably enjoyed a lot of fuss and attention. We had updates regularly. Ben would definitely recommend.

Vippies is without a doubt the best dog care facility I have ever come across. These people cannot do enough for you and your pet! I leave my darling boy with them for weekends of foster care - the updates are constant, the carers are truly so committed to ensuring your dog is happy, walked, and loved the same way they would be at home. Denny loves his holidays to Cathy's or Vippies HQ and always comes home happy, or sometimes devastated to be leaving his friends!

The most amazing team. Sheena, Jade and Jasmin and everyone associated with Vippies are honestly so amazing. They are all so caring and go above and beyond, they’ve made me feel so at ease leaving my pup with them since I’ve moved to the area. With constant updates/ reassurance with pictures on WhatsApp, I almost thought at one point my dog wouldn’t want to come back after having so much fun! Sheena, Jade, and the team are always welcoming, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. They have always taken the greatest care of our dogs and have already done wonders for Ted (our black labrador) who lacked socialisation as a puppy. What amazing place. My crazy cocker spaniel has been going more or less daily while I feel better. Sheena & Jade and their team have been fabulous, and fitted us in around the rest of their dogs. I have been using Vippies for a few years. Rob is our main worker. He is trustworthy and on most times visits Bella and Lilly my British short haired twice a day. . He follows care plans and always does that bit extra sending photos and messages. Thanks Rob. And He leaves a treat there favourite Dreamies.

It was our first time leaving our vizsla with Bridge house, we have tried a few other kennels with "luxury" facilities but our dog has not come home in better shape and condition than when he went here. The positivity started when they owner wanted to meet Axel, we got a full guided tour and I could see how much they cared for dogs. I was spoken through all my options in regards to food and told how his day would pan out. I was really pleased to hear that Axel would be visited regularly and given a couple of small walks per day. In previous kennels he has not been walked and as a high energy dog he needs exercise. Axel came home after 10 days in top condition, I was ready to bath him and give his bedding a good wash.... but their was no need! He had been given a bath and smelt amazing and was super soft, his bedding and toys had also had a wash!. I was so impressed with this , and I have never experienced this before even with "luxury" high end kennels. The staff made sure he was given his filled kong every day and his evening bone (we provided these). As I saw Axel being bought out for collection, prior to him noticing us he was trotting along with the staff, so happy. The owner even called the next day to apologise for not being on site during collection and a few miscommunication regarding pick up time. I would 100000% recommend and leave my dog here again. He has come home, happy, healthy and smelling delightful. Thank you x

Our dog was very well cared for and his coat looked beautiful when we picked him up. You can see how much the owners love the dogs They are very accommodating to try and fit you in even last minute. Good pick up times and reasonably priced.

Was very nervous about leaving my dogs in a kennel for the first time, but they came home very happy and in a healthy condition. They seemed to have enjoyed their stay very much. Highly recommend

I would not recommend using these kennels. The lady managing the place treated us with suspicion and arrogance from the very moment we arrived. They did not accept our dog, despite previously telling us they had availability, leaving us in deep trouble as we had an international trip scheduled. Our dog can be a little nervous/excited at times, but he has never been aggressive toward people or other dogs. We made that clear before going there and simply asked them to approach him slowly, as advised by our dog trainer. Nevertheless, they were unwilling to do this, as they decided on the spot that our dog would have given them trouble. We believe the staff may simply be unprepared (or unwilling) to deal with different types of dogs hence why we suggest not wasting time with this kennels also to avoid being treated poorly and finding yourself in trouble with no place to leave your dog.

We have used the boarding kennels many times over the last 8 years. My dogs have always been happy to be there and have remained in good condition and happy, they are exercised regularly and very well cared for. We would not hesitate to recommend these kennels for your dog.

Our black lab, Murphy, recently stayed at Bridge House Boarding Kennels for five days and we couldn't have been more pleased with his care whilst we were away. Being 12 years old, he can be a little nervous at times or even grumpy but we had nothing to worry about and, when we picked him up, it was clear that he had enjoyed his stay. Many thanks to Phil and the team.

Bridge House Kennels looked after our puppy as a one off for the afternoon while we attended a funeral locally. They were very responsive to our enquiry, incredibly friendly and, most importantly, were amazing with Buster during his stay. He trotted off very happily when we left him which made us confident that he would be well looked after for the few hours he was there. I would highly recommend Bridge House Kennels.

I booked my dog in here as we were at a local festival. He had the most amazing time and was so happy when he was collected. He smelt amazing and I would most definitely use them again. I wish my local kennels were this good x

Sky has been going to Pippin’s for over a year now and she loves every minute she’s at day care. We wouldn’t trust anyone else with our girl. Mark and Judith care about Sky’s wellbeing as much as we do, as she is a very excited doggy and loves to play all the time she is not restricted to this when she’s at day care. We couldn’t thank Judith and Mark enough for always being there for our fur baby! 🐶

Dougie has the BEST day at daycare and I wouldn't trust anyone else to have my dog. Judith has always been so flexible with my crazy schedule and I have always felt that she puts Dougie first. I know they genuinely care for my dog and send me regular videos and pictures of him playing and running around as well as snoozing when he's had a full day. I recommend Pippins to EVERYONE I know with dogs and will continue to do so for a loving environment where your dogs can thrive.

Both my dogs love going to Pippins, my older lab, Henry is given time out to rest and my dachshund puppy, Tiger is socialising with other happy dogs. Judith has created a home from home environment with a large garden for them to play in and games to keep them occupied plus regular walkies. I can’t recommend Pippins highly enough, so pleased we found it. 🐾💕🐾

I have sent my two dogs to Pippins for 18 months and I can highly recommend them! Our dogs are always well cared for and I know that their safety and happiness is as important to Judith and Mark as it is to me! I can tell that they are happy to go to Pippins from the wagging tails as they go down the path...and from the scratching at the gate to get IN!! Both dogs are very sociable with other dogs on walks and I put this down to them having spent time at Pippins where they mix with other dogs in a safe, supervised environment. The photos and videos from the day are an added bonus!

I've been taking my "special" dog Abe, to Pippins for 8 months now. I can honestly say that it's the best thing I could have done for my reactive, sensitive and slightly neurotic Bedlington Whippet. He adores Jude and Mark, plays happily with all of the other dogs that he meets and generally has a whale of a time every week. He's always tired out and his behaviour has improved so much. Jude and Mark have created a haven that is happy, safe and caring and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Mark and Jude just love all the dogs in their care like they were their own. They have created a very special place and environment for the dogs they care for. We have been taking Sammi our 3 year old spaniel to Mark and Jude (Pippins) as she was not very confident around other dogs. The change in Sammi has been fantastic. She is still cautious but that is no bad thing - but she does want to say hello and has even started to play. Can not recommend Pippins enough and the humans - Mark and Jude are just the most lovely of people. Thank you for all that you do.

At Pippin’s, Judith and Mark are brilliant and offer a fantastic daycare service. I’ve been very lucky that my dog has been with them since they opened, and she loves it there so much that when I drive into the village to drop her off, she starts whining with excitement, straining at her car-harness to get there sooner! She loves playing with their two dogs and all her doggy pals who also daycare at Pippin’s. She’s a very active dog, and not only does she get 2 walks a day, but also lots of playtime in the garden, so it’s excellent for socialization in a friendly home environment (with space for rest and naps too). They take care of all the dogs as if they are their own. They know all my dog’s quirks and her personality, and it feels like they care about her almost as much as I do. When she has boarded with them for overnights she’s been so well looked after, she settles in instantly - while I’m away she has her own little holiday camp! I even get regular photo updates of her at doggy day care, which always make me smile. Judith and Mark are professional, efficient, and also flexible when something comes up that means I can’t drop off/collect my dog at the normal time. I couldn’t ask for a better doggy day care – my girl adores her time with them and comes home a happy and wonderfully tired pup.

My dog Winnie has been going to Pippins for over 4 months, she gets very excited when I take her out of the car and she sees either Jude or Mark. Brilliant place for your dog, pleased with the recommendation I was given. Owners are great with all the dogs they send photographs and videos at the end of the day so you know Winnie has had a good day. Paula G

I’m so pleased Pippins were recommended to me. My dog is nervous and can be reactive but he seems so settled. They really care about the dogs and provide a safe, stimulating environment that my boy loves. He comes back after his busy day and sleeps which is no mean feat when you’re a hyperactive cocker spaniel!

We would highly recommend the grooming parlour at Slaney Kennels we took our dog for the first time and they were brilliant our Mea is old and a can be a bit grumpy but she looked a picture well done.

My cat Marnie spent a night here as one of her two taster sessions for when I go to Croatia soon. I chose it because of its high ratings and really chose right. To begin with there were checks Marnie had up to date vaccinations. This reassured me she would be in an environment with other healthy, vaccinated cats. Eve was also very kind when I WhatsApped her to advise I'd be arriving later than planned. The reason was I couldn't get Marnie in the carrier despite my efforts at introducing her to it that week. Eve reassured me Marnie wouldn't hate me for putting her in there, either. I planned to stay with Marnie till she was settled but this only ended up being a couple of minutes. She loved exploring the pen and was allowed things from home in there. The pen was very well equipped and spacious with lots of room for roaming and climbing. I know Marnie will have a great time when I'm away and I've been promised photos of how she's doing then, too!

Always greeted by friendly staff, leaving us with confidence our cat will be well looked after.

Cannot recommend Paw & Co enough, could not have felt better leaving our puppy Bess in Erica's safe hands. You can see what your dog is getting up to on the Facebook page and staying with Erica at a young age has helped Bess come on leaps and bounds! Such a nice holiday for your dog!

I took my little Pup to Paw & Co when my partner and I were staying out for the evening at a wedding, it was the first time I had left her apart from with family so I was quite apprehensive, but Erica put me completely at ease and let me know that my pup was in good hands. She had her own room with her cage in for the night, was played with ALL night and taken on two walks - it's safe to say I had one tided pup that came back to me!! The Facebook updates that Erica posts are so great to see as a way to see what your Pup is up to and put me at complete ease. Also, the cost for a full day and overnight stay is more than reasonable! I will 100% be calling on Erica and Josh again for the next occasion when my Pup needs looking after! Great company ❤️🐶

I can’t praise Erica enough for her care of my ten month old cocker spaniel Ernest, who has just arrived back from a week at Paw & Co whilst I was away on holiday. We had to make arrangements fairly last minute after our original sitter felt Ernest didn’t settle and cancelled his stay... so I was obviously a little bit anxious; however we are so blessed Erica could accommodate Ernest and for his practice sleepover and the full week stay he has been treated as one of the family and has had a wonderful time!! He couldn’t have been in better hands... Erica is extremely knowledgable and professional; she loves every dog she has stay and puts you totally at ease. it made the holiday even better knowing he was being so well looked after. I think he has the post holiday blues now and misses Erica, Josh and his dog buddies!

We've got a nervous rescue dog but Erica has been brilliant with him. She's really taken the time to get to know him, we've got full confidence that Cody is in safe and enjoyable hands whilst we're at work. Fully recommended.

My mini dachshund Gilbert has been going to Erica for just over a year now for regular daycare and some overnight stays when we are away and he absolutely loves it!! He gets so excited when he sees her or gets to her house which I think speaks absolute volumes. I trust her 100% with him and have no problems recommending her to anyone! 😄

Our two Cocker Spaniels have been to day care and also a weekend. Erica is absolutely brilliant and her house is one massive kennel that she and Josh have organised so well

Our two dogs hadn’t been to a kennel before and wow I’m glad I chose this one! Carol and Shaun were so flexible, professional and kind. Their facilities are absolutely spotless and the dogs were incredibly well cared for. We have one with three legs and another with ear issues, nothing was a problem and Elderberry were more than happy to accommodate their needs. When I collected them their bedding was immaculate and even the doggies smelt fresh! This tells me they’ve been kept super clean throughout which is a must for me. The paddock area is fabulous and I could tell they’d been well exercised, it’s fab seeing the pictures of them playing each day! I will never let our boys go anywhere else, Elderberry is absolutely fantastic. Thank you both and see you next time!

First time for us leaving Willow and bluebell in kennels naturally we were anxious about choosing the right one for them but we didn't need to worry elderberry was a beautiful and very clean kennels the girls really enjoyed it and came home looking beautifully looked after we could see from the photos they were very happy we will definitely use elderberry again we couldn't have been any happier thank you for looking after our girls so well

Put our dogs in kennels for the first time, viewed a few before coming across this one and first Impressions made it stand out above the rest. Can’t express how happy I am with the service we received for our two dachshunds! Shaun tends to every need and gets to know each individual dog down the the littlest detail and can tell he has a real love for dogs! Carol uploaded some photos on their social media during their visit which is very nice to see when you miss your companions! Will definitely be using them again!

It was our boy Max’s first visit and we were not disappointed with these kennels!! A totally professional service from start to finish. We were allowed to take Max’s crate and bedding so he felt safe and at home. The kennels are spotlessly clean and there’s a big paddock for exercise, a beagle needs this!! 😂. We loved seeing the photos of Max on facebook while we were away, it really reassured us that he was happy and being well looked after. I also msg’d to ask how Max had settled in and I got an answer straight away. We wouldn’t go anywhere else now. Thank you 🙏

Harry, our 2 year old Springer stayed at Elderberry for 4 days recently. As he's so young and energetic it's great that the dogs are exercised every 2 hours and Harry seemed very happy and relaxed when I picked him up. He even wanted to go back in before we left, pulling me back towards the gate when we said goodbye so thank you so much for looking after him so well. We will definitely be recommending you.

An outstanding kennels which my dog loves as much as I do! (My dog is a rescued, socially anxious terrier so this is high praise indeed) I never worry about him when we are away. He now goes once a week for day boarding and that is proving to be an excellent experience. The squeals of delight when I tell the dog we are going to see Shaun and Carol have to be seen and heard to be believed! I firmly believe his day trips to kennels are extending his life now. From booking him in to picking him up at the end of his visits, I cannot praise this hard working family business enough. Great value for money is a bonus for me! I highly recommend Elderberry Kennels.

Just picked up our dog after a week staying here. I can't praise Carol and Sean enough. They were very patient with our extremely nervous boy, Teddy and went over and beyond to help him settle. They are obviously both very experienced, knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. I can't thank them enough and highly recommend these kennels. What a treat to have these on our doorstep!

Thanks for looking after Lyra so well. She arrived home well fed and exercised. This is the best kennels for us nothing is too much trouble for Carol and Shaun. They are happy to give medications and Lyra's usual Rich tea biscuit each day. We've always found them professional, welcoming and caring. The kennels and exercise areas are really clean and well kept. If our Patterdale is happy then we are happy.
