Full time traveling couple wanting to hang out with your cool pets!
Shauna and Craig kept in touch every day with pictures of kitties and how they were doing even though no expectation was set for an update, so they did that of their own accord. They were easy to communicate with and very friendly. House was immaculate when we returned and one of our kitties sheds a lot. They even left us a little gift. We would love to have them return again!

Caring, Clean and Dependable Traveler Who Would Love To Take Care Of Your Home
Elizabeth was fantastic and we would absolutely have her again. She is a great communicator, checked with us if she wasn't sure, took good care of Lulu, and was overall wonderful.

Active 38 years old travel Nurse that loves animals, and has a flexible schedule
I would higly recommend Rachel for pet sitting. She took great care of my elderly, highly social cat, who needs extra love and attention in addition to requiring daily medicine in her ears. She handled everything beautifully and sent me great updates throughout the week. I'd definitely invite her to sit for me again!

Retired educators will provide ownership care
Chris and Barb were great pet and house sitters! Our dog Arthur was sad to see them leave and us arrive! They left our home even cleaner and tidier than when we left, and we appreciate all they did to look after Arthur.

Responsible, considerate, and well-traveled couple seeking short and long stays
Lauren and Jeremy were wonderful house sitters. I would ask them back or recommend them without hesitation. They communicated clearly, and took wonderful care my pets, house and garden. They left the place cleaner than it started and generously offered to help in ways that I hadn't asked but that were very kind and thoughtful. I felt very comfortable with my animals and home in their care.

Teacher/petsitter dreaming of making petsitting and traveling a reality!
When we select a sitter, we read every review in addition to conducting some sort of video interview. We really rely upon the experiences of past hosts, so that’s why I believe it important to be honest in this review. I love giving out 5 star reviews and do quite frequently, but I also need to share any less-than-positive experiences as well for those hosts who rely upon reviews such as we do. As such, I’m a bit ambivalent about writing this review of Katie, as there were some really good things Katie did while here. She is a lovely, energetic woman who responded immediately to the concerns I voiced to her during the time she watched our pets; however, the “negatives” we experienced speak to the heart of the importance of having a dedicated pet sitter. For the most part, our home was left tidy and neat – which is no small feat as ours is a large house and I appreciate the care Katie took in ensuring we walked into a clean home. That said, Katie failed to notice my dogs had urinated in both of their dog beds and on the floor of our downstairs office, which we believed happened in the first part of the sit and resulted in the downstairs smelling of stale urine. Further, because she didn’t notice the urine, my pets, when downstairs, had to either sleep on the bare floor or in wet beds, neither of which is a satisfactory option. Also, my dogs don’t generally urinate in the house as they have access to a doggie door, and this seemed more a sign of their distress or discomfort. I believe this incident was part of a larger problem I experienced with Katie and that was in the manner in which she approached this sit. I advertised dates of July 6 – July 22. We generally ask our sitters to come in a day or two early as to walk them through the schedule for both our animals and our many plants, as well as to give them time to get to know the animals and experience a little of the town we live in. We also provide a very detailed introduction and welcome guide which outlines our expectations. Katie came in late in the day on the 7th, without personal transportation, which necessitated us picking her up and then my neighbor taking her to a rental cart company the next day because we left very early on the morning of the 8th. This abbreviated introductory time didn’t allow us to fully prepare Katie for the sit and allowed for some apparent “misunderstandings.” The “issue” for me was for the first five days of our 13-day trip, Katie was away from the house for up to 13 hours at a time – leaving our two, older rescue dogs, who have some separation anxiety - alone and with an extended time between meals. It was clear Katie was using this opportunity to visit many of the beautiful areas which surround where we live – hence using our home as more of an Airbnb to vacation – than a house sit dedicated to caring for our animals. Our dogs are fine with being alone for up to six hours but even that, for multiple days in a row, is, frankly, distressing to our animals and to us, as owners. To Katie’s credit, when I called and brought her daily, extended time away to her attention and reiterated my wishes the dogs not be left for more than 6 hours, she changed her schedule and while still gone every day, capped her time away at six hours. And, as I said, she is cheerful and responsive; hence, the ambivalence is positing my concerns with this sit. I think if Katie is provided with very clear expectations prior to the sit and understands exactly what is needed and expected, she will absolutely deliver. For whatever reason, from the start, this sit was rushed, there appeared to be too many misunderstandings, and it ended up being frustrating for us in ways other sits have not been.

Friendly, Responsible Pet Sitter looking to Travel while Working Remotely
From a pet sitting aspect we were not unsatisfied with Sara. Our dogs seemed happy and our chickens were also tended to well. However, from a house sit I will say we were disappointed with a few things. There was a bad storm the day before we left and we requested some photos of the damage to our property that was done. I asked multiple times and never received what I asked for after saying she would send it. We also agreed to daily updates in form of text or pictures of the animals and I did go the first couple days without reliable communication which didn’t sit well with me. As for the state of the house upon return, while it was mostly clean, one of our curtain rods was ripped from the wall. I wouldn’t have been upset had we just been notified of the repair that needed to be done but she never even told us that she broke anything in the house it was just left. She also very clearly rummaged through our drawers and took brand new unopened toiletries from areas that we did not specify she could use and she never reached out asking if it would be ok to take.

Retired Fiduciary (trusted lifelong) and Adjunct Professor - Animals love us.
Alan and Inna took the time to come to my house for a meet and greet prior to my trip which makes it so much easier to go over the house and pet’s routines, along with getting to know each other and them getting to know my pets. It also helped me to be more comfortable and relaxed prior to leaving. While I was gone Alan and Inna took great care of my 3 cats and dog. They kept me updated on how everything was going while I was away and sent cute pictures. Alan went above and beyond when it was raining, and he noticed my front porch gutters needed cleaned, so he took care of it. It was a tough time for me and my dog Bella since we had just lost my 9-year-old dog to cancer days before leaving on the trip. Alan and Inna were very comforting and understanding of our sadness. I highly recommend them.
Maryna was an excellent pet sitter and houseguest! Communicating with her was easy, and she always responded to my messages quickly. She was also incredibly self-sufficient! Moreover, Maryna graciously agreed to check on my neighbor's cat for a couple of days as well. My dog bonded with her quickly and was happy and healthy when I returned. The house was also spotless. I would happily have Maryna sit for me again!
Brian is absolutely amazing. This was his third time sitting for us and the dogs love him, he left the house immaculate, and is totally reliable and communicative. We can’t imagine a better sitter and hope he’ll come visit and stay in touch now that he has moved to the area.
Anita was a wonderful dog sitter for Balto! They were super tentative, made sure to ask any and all questions before we went away, and they sent the best updates about Balto while we were gone. I felt so much better knowing my dog was in great hands, and I could not recommend Anita enough! Quality care, and our apartment was spotless when we returned home.
I’m sure most folks say the nicest things about their sitter, but honestly, if there were a “super star” status available then Denise would win the prize as sitter of the year! From the start, Denise was an excellent communicator. While we were still in the decision phase, Denise was always available to chat either by FaceTime, telephone or text. It was so easy to choose Denise; as you can see from her countless 5 star reviews, she truly is the only pet sitter you’d ever need and the one everyone hopes to have. Denise came to our house eager to meet us, our pets and the quirks of our house. Denise has an excellent sense of humor and immediately put us all at ease. Our pets took to her as if she was a long lost friend (even our finicky Siamese cat was loving on her from the start). While we were gone, our dog had a non-emergency health issue come up and just like that Denise was taking her to our vet, and administered the dog’s meds like a champion (Denise is also a nurse BTW). Additionally, Denise brought our pup to her scheduled groom appointments and even made future appointments for us to make our return home as seamless as possible. Denise was even above and beyond helpful to our neighbors and they appreciated her giving them access to our refrigerator when theirs broke down on Thanksgiving Eve! When we got home we were super impressed by how perfectly immaculate our house was! Most sitters leave the house clean, but Denise met and may have even exceeded our military standards of clean and orderly. Seriously, our house felt like we never left it. Everything was spotless, shinny and clean. She didn’t miss a beat!! Our pets were so happy to see us but honestly, I felt like our pup and kitty were disappointed when we walked in the door (I believe they were expecting to see Denise!). Haha. If you are ever fortunate enough to have Denise apply for any of your sits then I can’t recommend her enough. Seriously, you can stop reviewing applicants and just go with Denise. She was awesome in every sense of the word and I hope she’ll come back and stay with our pets again.
If we could give 10 out of 5 stars for Candace, Brian, and Chris, we would! They were amazing house and dog sitters for Brown Dog and Scout. They were so accommodating with our timeline and had read our welcome guide to a tee! It was so reassuring being gone for 2 weeks and knowing our pups were in amazing hands. They sent us daily updates and pictures and it was clear the dogs were so well cared for! They left the house very clean and even had all of our bedding and towels washed for us when we arrived home. Would absolutely recommend them for a sit and would love to have them back again any time!
Robyn was a great pet sitter and house sitter. She went way over and beyond my expectations!!!! She sent a photo of her and my dogs and they were looking at her like they were in love. And my cats are not very friendly, but she won them over also. I would highly recommend Robyn as a pet sitter and house sitter. She is a very sweet lady. I would love to have her watch my babies again and again.
Katie & Kevin jumped in last-minute, as our sitters had to cancel. And what can I say: We couldn't have chosen better even if we would had more choices and time. Katie & Kevin were so easy to communicate with and the first meeting and handoff were so easy and smooth. We could go on vacation with peace of mind knowing our dog and 2 ponies are in the best hands. Katie & Kevin: Thank you so much for looking after our animals so well !!!
Christina is the best house and pet sitter that we have ever had. She leaves the house immaculate. She is independent, reliable, and totally professional. Communication is excellent. In terms of pet care, Christina is special. I think that she is a dog whisperer. Bridie, our crazy Wheaten, adores her and is sad when she leaves.
Lynn and Ray were fabulous sitters, going above and beyond to take care of our home, yard, and rambunctious pup. Leaving him for three weeks was very difficult but we felt confident once we met them. They are great communicators, very professional, capable of handling any situation, and personable. Since they are fully self-contained in their van, they arrived a day early so we could show them the place, have our dog Bailey get comfortable with them (that was immediate ☺), and get to know them over dinner together. While on our trip, they sent us daily photos of Bailey, which we really appreciated, and updates on their activities. They took him hiking almost every day and kept him well exercised. Any issues that came up (e.g., our irrigation water ran dry a couple weeks in) they communicated to us and we were able to resolve them quickly. They also harvested ripe berries and squash for us and even harvested and dried tomatoes in our dryer. We spent our entire trip feeling assured that all things were being taken care of and feel ever so grateful that we found Lynn and Ray through TH. We returned from our trip to a house that was thoroughly cleaned (better than we left it ☺), with fresh sheets on the bed, and a happy dog. Five-star sitters for sure!
Ryan is a great house and pet sitter and I definitely recommend him. He took excellent care of my apartment and my dog for peace of mind when I was away. He is professional, friendly, and experienced.

Our dog just loves to go to day care, and spends the night sometimes. The owner is very nice and helpful!
Snoop 100 percent loved wagging tails and so did we 6 stars for my review ❤️🐕🦺 …
This is the only place I trust my fur babies to stay at. Christy and her team take such good care of the dogs. I feel as if they treat my dogs like they were their own. I like that it is a smaller, family owned kennel. You can just tell they have a passion and really care about the animals well-being.
I can only talk about boarding over night as we haven’t taken Trooper there for play care. They are fantastic! Their facilities are very nice, well maintained and supervised. Lots of play time for the dogs. Trooper loves going so I think that kind of says it all. Highly recommend Waggin Tails
Waggin Tails Retreat is amazing! We are camping nearby and wanted to take the kids to the zoo for the day, so we wanted to leave our dog somewhere! He was there for only a few hours but you could tell he loved it! I definitely recommend Waggin Tails! Thank you!!!
Waggin’ Tails is simply amazing, my dog Duncan loves to go there. In fact he hates to leave when I pick him up. Simple the best place in Battle Creek.
I have left my girls here 2 times and my dogs have always been taken well care of. The owner even took the time to show me a few tricks on leash training. I am booking my dogs for 2 more stays this year. It's nice to go on vacation and know that my dogs are in good hands!
We’ve been bringing our dog her for a while now. We are very satisfied with the care she receives. Staff is friendly.
ABSOLUTELY Unprofessional! Was literally in tears over how rude the owner was to our family, upon arrival. She was dismissive, uncaring, and made us feel very uncomfortable!! The owner did not want to show us where our dogs would be housed during their visit. Decided to NOT LEAVE OUR PETS THERE!!! Would NEVER leave our fur babies there!
Waggin Tails is a phenomenal place!! They treat our dogs like family. This is the only place we will take our dogs to board.
We love Camp Sally almost as much as our dogs do! It's great knowing we have a place we trust that the dogs can go play while we're out of town. Jeremy does a great job with the dogs and is very easy to work with. I can't recommend Camp Sally highly enough
Absolutely amazing people who I would trust with my dog always. Their love and passion they have for dogs is truly a blessing. It’s a beautiful boarding facility with lots of play room and lots of room for outdoor play. They are dog angels, my boy loves them and as you can see, they love him too.
Our dogs absolutely go nuts once they see this building! They love coming here so much. They get dropped off full of energy and come back beyond tired. It’s a huge win for us to find this place! I highly recommend it and am so grateful Jeremy truly cares about our dogs.
Camp Sally was able to help us out in a pinch & they were fabulous!! We have two German Shepherds that are a lot to handle at times and one who has never been to camp before. It was great knowing that they were taken care of. At pick up you could tell they bith had a great time!! 10/10 recommend Camp Sally. They were amazing & wonderful!!
My little golden retriever was here for 6 nights and loved every minute of it! Jeremy posted videos and 📸 pictures on Instagram for me to see her, and he was very responsive when I would text him during my vacation to see how she was doing. She will be back for our next vacation 🖤😊💛 …
Best dog boarding facility I've ever been to. Very friendly and caring owners who will accommodate almost any schedule for their customers. My family leaves town alot and this is the only place I will board Benny Brown. The owners very obedient team of greeters seem to rub off a little each time on my sometimes naughty dog. It's very close to I-94 which is so convenient for drop off on the way out of town. Great job Sally and crew. See you soon.
Best place in town! My dogs love it there, they have so much to do! The owners are dog experts...so knowledgeable and care for the dogs like they are their own. Only boarder I'll ever use, Thank you Camp Sally!
We just picked up our 6 month old lab from Camp Sally. She had a blast with the other dogs! It was wonderful to leave town and not worry about our fur baby.
Our Max stayed here for a week. He did really well and was able to play with the other dogs. Now I can feel comfortable taking him around other dogs.
Open area for the dogs , inside and out. Dogs came home happy
