Leslie took care of our dog, koi fish and kept our hummingbird feeders full. Her dog Benny was a great companion to our dog. She even checked in on my mother in law in the cottage. Thank you Leslie!

California House Sitter
Kirsten was amazing, from our first interactions with her to the day she left. We were in contact with her several times while we were away and enjoyed all the pictures and updates with the dogs and the house. Kirsten went over and beyond with watering our plants in the front and back yards. We have a drip system but it was extremely hot while she was here and all the plants looked great. The inside of the house looked amazing when we got home. Very clean, bed made and everything fresh and wiped down. That was really nice since we didn’t get home until after 10 pm. Kirsten was great with the dogs and contacted us immediately with any questions and concerns about them. We really appreciate everything she did while staying here. We highly recommend Kirsten and hope to have her stay here again in the future.

Shannon is a wonderful house/pet sitter. She recently sat for us for three nights to take care of our indoor/outdoor cat, Fergal. She took excellent care of him and our house looked as if no one had been there. Very professional, excellent communication skills, very independent and totally self-sufficient. We were delighted.

Happy Pets. Happy Home.
I had the pleasure of having Mindy watch my four dogs for the first time, and I couldn't be more impressed with the level of care and attention she provided. She was able to take my last minute booking request and I couldn’t be happier. Mindy was incredibly active in her communication, which instantly put my mind at ease. Coming back to four happy dogs was such a relief, and I never once worried while I was away. I truly hope to have Mindy dog sit for us again in the future. Thank you, Mindy, for your exceptional care and dedication to our furry family members!

Mature, artistic, organized, well traveled sitter. Looking to discover new lands
Wow! Amanda was nothing short of outstanding! She was flexible and came a day early/stayed a day late, great communication, on top of things with the house (and understood our somewhat complex instructions immediately) really great with the dogs - and the house was beyond spotless when we got home. As in cleaner than we left it! And she had baked us a loaf of sourdough bread! Honestly, we want her to come as often as possible!

From her promptness to schedule a pre-sit call to her truly thorough tidying of our house, Stella was an amazing housesitter from start to finish!! She read all the info we put together ahead of time, and asked for clarification on just a few things which made us confident that the pup and the house were in good shape :) Stella was really gracious when we admitted to not having a coffee pot, and handling things calmly when there was an incident with street parking. Maybe most importantly though our dog Luke was calm when we came home. I think if future sitters are clear in their expectations around frequency of communication/photos and the dogs needs then Stella is the perfect person to exceed your expectations!
Diane and Les were excellent pet and house sitters. Jet was a very happy dog when we returned and Diane had shared many photos of their days together while we were away on holiday. The house was very clean and tidy when we returned and some milk , bread and sweet treats had been left for us, which were very welcome after our 2 long flights home. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Diane and Les as sitters for your home and pets, everything was done to a high standard and Jet was happy in his usual environment , which is all we wished for. Many thanks to you both.
I've always been lucky with my sitters through zeewoi, and this time was no exception. George, Larissa and their four lovely children were the absolute perfection in house guests and I cannot praise this wonderful family too highly. They did all the usual things you'd expect, gave my beautiful girls all the love and care I could wish, walked them at least once every day despite the best the British weather could throw at them, and sent me regular updates and photos so I could see how much love they were getting. They also left the house cleaner and tidier than I think I've ever seen it! I'm a bit worried that all they did for the week was walk and play with the dogs and then clean the house - I'm beyond grateful, the place looks amazing! They really are the very nicest people too, George has a hilarious sense of humour (thanks for the funny texts George!) and Larissa is calm, kind and an inspiration as a mother. I really can't wait to have them back to look after the girls again in the summer and wish the whole family a wonderful trip until then. If they come and house sit for you then you are in for a real treat!
Theresa is a reliable and experienced pet sitter in addition to being great at keeping house! She was very accommodating in meeting me & the dogs in advance of our sit, which proved she is a true pet person: attentive to my dogs and eager to know how they should be cared for. She kept me posted while I was away & I returned to a tidy home & happy dogs! I highly recommend her!!
Robyn was a great pet sitter and house sitter. She went way over and beyond my expectations!!!! She sent a photo of her and my dogs and they were looking at her like they were in love. And my cats are not very friendly, but she won them over also. I would highly recommend Robyn as a pet sitter and house sitter. She is a very sweet lady. I would love to have her watch my babies again and again.
Brian is awesome - he is simply the best pet sitter and house sitter that we have EVER had and we've had a bunch. He is experienced, thoughtful, respectful, loving, appreciative, helpful, enthusiastic...the list just goes on. Started with our initial call - it was our first sit with zeewoi and he immediately instilled confidence in us in how he talked about his experience and how he saw his role. In the pre-planning, he had great questions for us and helped us to get organized. He was thorough through the instructions, came in a day early to make sure he understood everything about our house and our dog and then followed through on everything. He even drove us to the airport and picked us up on the return. Along the way we were gone, he sent us pictures and kept us updated - always making us feel good about being away and knowing Jorge and the house were in great hands. We had workers coming to fix a fence while gone and some other activity at the house - he was helpful, available, and willing to do whatever was needed to be done. He was self-sufficient and when it came time to leave, he had everything organized and cleaned at the house - he left it in better condition than he received it. We would love to have Brian sit whenever we are away (and in fact will invite him and hope he says yes!) - any one would be lucky to have Brian as their house and pet sitter.
Joe arrived some days before I left, so I could show him some nice places in Switzerland and he had enough of time to learn all about the dogs and how to handle them. He is an amazing nice and an animal/natur loving person who took care of my dog with incredible affection when I was in vacation. I could really enjoy it, because I knew, everything is ok at home. He sent me picutres and I could see, how much fun they have together. He cooked for the dogs, mad a lot of nice hikes with them and huged them, when they need it - so he even got the trust from Artu (as a man really not easy). And not only that, he made woodruff punch for me and sowed my tomatoes and spoiled them with melt water. And he helped also the women which looked after the horses and helped her to going walk with them. Generelly he is super friendly, so everyone in the village likes him. He is considerate of your belongings and has handed the house back neatly. He is just the best. I'm so gratuful he was here. So, if you have a chance to get him as a sitter, take it. Your animals will be grateful to you and have a good time while you are on vacation. Joe, you're not just a dog sitter for me. You were so familiar to me from the first moment. We had a lot of fun and we already miss you sooooo much. I'm really looking forward to see you again in some monthes.
Truly The Best House sitters Ever!!! Shannon, Travis and their son were absolutely terrific. I’m so lucky to have had the genuine pleasure of meeting them. Very warm, generous, open and loving people. My dog Wolfie usually barks at men who come in the house and I was a little worried about how he would be with Travis, but I had nothing to fear because within seriously 1 minute from Travis walking in the door, Wolfie was giving him kisses on the lips! I was so happy to receive their updates and photos and videos of my pets while I was away. They really went above and beyond taking terrific care of my many, many furry and feathered friends. When I got home, the place was sparkling clean, all linens laundered and beds made and they even left me sweet little surprises. I would welcome The Exums back with open arms anytime and highly recommend them.
Christina handled Bridie's first-ever time without us perfectly. We returned after 5 days to a happy, well-cared for and well-exercised pup --- and an emaculate house. Christina knows dogs and helped us with a few Bridie issues. We got photos and some updates while away. She was flexible and very sensitive to all of our needs. Chrisrina is the best sitter that we have ever had.
Alia is truly the most wonderful, loving and kind dog sitter I have used. My husky LOVES her. Not to mention whenever I travel and return home, my apartment is neat and orderly. She even baked a treat for me on my return! I highly recommend Alia. She has sat for me several times and I can't wait to use her again. Thanks Alia! Me and Grey love having you:)

Excellent and affordable doggie and cat day care and boarding! I am so thankful for the excellent service, kind staff, and superior dog/cat care at Rivers Edge Pet Lodge. The staff is caring, take very good care of my pet and I always am confident that she's safe and happy- having fun!
My high-energy puppy LOVES rivers edge for daycare! He’s been going for several months now and has come home every day fulfilled and calm from a days worth of play and attention from the staff. Every morning he waits by the door for me to take him to “school” and is a ball of energy and excitement the entire ride there. Today, he had his first bath. Although he hates bath time at home, he clearly enjoyed his bath at rivers edge and came home a happy and clean puppy. We recommend rivers edge to all of Bruce’s friends, and if you’re reading this review we recommend it to you too!
The best part about this place is the staff. Buying their packages makes it easy to come in go quickly. The large one comes with a bath. It's strong suit is daycare. Overnight is OK because of the price. The Weekend is boarding only, and I would not recommend because of limited pickup windows, price, they don't get enough exercise.
My experience was great! I bring my dog and cat here. It’s only their second time coming here and I know this is different for them but they seem to adjust well. The first time I boarded them, I didn’t ask questions about how they did but this time I asked questions and the staff had no problem answering my concerns. Everyone I meet there is very friendly. I hope in time my dog will get to hang out with other dogs there when he’s being boarded, but he’s not always very social. We already have two more vacations planned for next year so maybe my dog will come out of his shell. I know my pets would rather be home but Rivers Edge is a second home for them. Thank you for the ease of making arrangements for boarding and for picking them up.
My pup loves River’s Edge. Staff takes exceptionally good care of my dog. My pup is always so excited to come! Day care, boarding, and grooming services are all excellent. They even celebrated her birthday!
Our dogs came home happy, healthy and, by adding the bath for each, not stinky! It's so nice to know your furry family will be well cared for. I love having both dogs in the same space because they are very much a bonded pair. One is 90lbs, the other 25lbs and there is more than enough room for them to be content. Lots of outdoor time, a staff that is always so nice and the ease of drop off and pick up makes this a great choice for boarding.
I take my 3 huskies for grooming , their staff is friendly and professional, my 3 dogs love them, reasonable prices , highly recommended.
I was a non-believer! I giggled at the thought of doggy daycare, but when I saw that my 4 month old puppy was terrified of other dogs I knew I had to do something. I tried introducing him to other dogs at Surf Beach and he would physically shake in fear and/or anxiety while hiding behind me. I had friends highly recommend this doggy daycare to help bring Tank out of his shell. So off I go, to doggy daycare where Christine gave me a tour, pricing information, and answered all my questions and concerns. Next day I drop off my fat little guy and hope he doesn't get bullied, attacked or that he doesn't give himself an anxiety heart attack. Few hours later I watched a video the daycare posted on Instagram of my little guy playing with the other dogs and having the time of his life. That night was awesome Tank was so tired he went to bed early and snored so loudly I had to double check it wasn't my husband. I was so pleased I drove him to daycare again in the morning and he couldn't wait to get inside. Highly recommend!
Staff is extremely friendly and do all the can to accommodate their guests. Bummed it took me so long to take my two dogs for daycare. Positive experiences.
I have been bringing my little guy here for years! I live out of the area now, but when I am in the area, I feel that my pup is in the best hands! A special thanks to Chrissy 💝 she and her team love my pup as if he was their own. …
Debbie is very professional and very caring. The dog play areas are very clean and well kept. The price per stay are extremely reasonable. My baby loved it.
Five Stars ✨ for Springdale Pet Ranch!! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Springdale Pet Ranch! My dog, Starlight, absolutely loves his time there, whether it's for daycare or boarding. Every time I pick him up, he's happy, tired, and full of fun. It's clear he's had a blast with all the activities and attention from the staff. The facility is top-notch, and the team there truly cares about the pets. I feel completely confident leaving Starlight in their hands, knowing he'll be safe, well-cared for, and most importantly, enjoying himself to the fullest. I recommend Springdale Pet Ranch to everyone I meet at the dog park and the beach. There's no other place I would consider for my boy Star—it's simply the best!
Doctor Who and I love springdale pet ranch. The staff is wonderful and very kind. I feel comfortable leaving her there for the day or for boarding. Doctor Who enjoys playing in the yards with friends and hanging with the staff. I feel pricing is reasonable.
My pup Pierre has been going to Springdale Pet Ranch for almost 2 years and I highly recommend them! Pierre goes to daycare 5 days a week and has boarded twice at SPR, most recently last week for 5 days/nights. The staff is highly trained and really understand dogs and take such good care of our fur babies. They are really friendly and helpful and truly love the dogs. They take the time to get to know each dog and their personalities, and will discuss any concerns or issues that might arise with your pet. There are different packages available for both boarding and daycare, so you can customize your pet’s experience to meet your needs and budget. SPR has obedience training during which they teach your pet basic commands and manners, which is great especially if you’re a first time pet owner. They have treadmill sessions where your dog is supervised walking on a pet treadmill—great exercise and also good mental stimulation for your dog. They also have bike training sessions where your dog runs alongside a trainer riding a bike. There are enhanced daycare packages where you will get a report card with photos of your pup enjoying his time playing with other dogs in his group and also getting one on one time with trainers. Dogs are put in groups with other dogs of similar size and temperament, and they have supervised play sessions with the trainers. SPR has recently added grooming services so you can schedule a bath or nail trim during your regular daycare session, at a reasonable price. Pierre is always so excited to go play each day, and he’s tired when he gets home. I love SPR and enthusiastically recommend them for both daycare and boarding!
We are huge fans of Springdale. We use them both for boarding and daycare for our fur baby Coco. She's always excited to go and we know she will be well taken care of. When we travel I look forward to getting her report cards because she always looks so happy. All the staff members have been super friendly both in person and over the phone. Thanks for all you do.
I can’t say enough about Springdale - the facility is remarkable - spotless and utterly pristine. Everyone who works there is delightful. They send the best photos every day of Wilson playing with his dog friends (I actually keep a ton of them!) and the cutest selfies with his human friends along with daily report cards, which are personal and detailed and honest about how he is doing. We look forward to them every day while we are traveling! Thank you for keeping our boy safe and happy when we go away. We are SO grateful! - Yvette & Fred
Professional staff. Caring attitudes. Competent and compassionate. Personally, Springdale Pet Ranch, reaches beyond just a business. Their a beacon of hope for any K9 owner who wants the best results -- a disciplined, loyal, and friendly dog. Thanks Jack and Springdale Pet Ranch staff for being 'there' after my wife's recent scheduled surgery in Southern California. Lucy was just three weeks out of the Santa Maria Animal Shelter. Thank you for your professionalism and five star care!
Tiago enjoys his time at Springdale pet ranch. Whenever I have to leave him here, I feel at ease knowing he will be well taken care of. I am truly grateful for the friendly and attentive staff!
I absolutely love Springdale. Since I travel for work, I’ve had to use different daycare places, but Springdale is my dog’s home. She did a board and train and goes weekly right now. The staff are so incredibly patient and sweet and Jack is really knowledgeable and helpful. My dog sometimes struggles with other dogs and they have ALWAYS accommodated her and tailor her time to make her a better dog. Truly a gem of a business and animal care provider.
Springdale pet Ranch is the best place to take your pet, hands-down. My dog loves this place so much, she always has so much fun and when we drop her off, she is so excited to see everyone and go play. I love getting her “report cards” when we go on vacation, they always make it easier for me, seeing how much fun she’s having at Springdale. I also have to mention the fantastic job the groomer does on bathing my dog. She’s always clean and fluffy and perfect when I pick her up. I truly love this place for my pet. Thank you Springdale!
My sister has her pup at this daycare. I got to visit her and this location recently. I love how they play with him and now they have agility training. He has way too much energy and they help get his ya-yas out. They know each dog and are really caring about their welfare. They have different areas for different size dogs and activities. Great place!
We were very happy we found Lucky Dog Pet Resort. We were on a long trip and able to bring our dog on most of it, but we had to find a place for him for two nights. All the boarding facilities we'd used before required a trial daycare run before booking any over night stays, but Lucky Dog let us just bring him in and treated him great. They don't take drop offs mid day, we almost missed the morning window, so be sure to plan around that.
I recently got a dog and then shortly afterwards needed to go to LA. These guys were highly reviewed so I called them to book an overnight stay. They require a a trial day (at no charge) to see if my dog could handle being boarded. My dog (especially when I first got him) doesn’t like being left alone. I paid extra for walks during the day. At every step of the way I was impressed with Lucky Dog Pet Resort and I have since taken him here for days that I need to. It is scary to trust someone with my special guy and these kind folks honored my trust.
I boarded my dog here for about 9 days while I was on vacation. The first day as a trial day went well the staff seemed friendly and things went fine. I was explained this would be free and what the cost per day to board would be. I scheduled the time and the day I dropped her off the staff who now seemed to be distracted talking by her co worker while checking me in instead of asking me to wait while she assisted her would ask me if I wanted play time and then continue her conversation with the co worker. This was my first time boarding her so I just said yes to play time and pool time thinking this was included. I was facing the wall on the right hand side where the computers were not behind a desk and the staff member did not communicate to me that these would be an extra charge. After the very cluttered interaction I left and my spouse told me to double check we would not be charged extra. I called and was then informed that it is 15$ for 15 minutes of play and around 40$ for a pool day. This information should be relayed to the customer at the time of discussion. When I told the woman on the phone this was never brought to my attention her response was “oh you should have gotten some paperwork with pricing.” I let her know I had received no paperwork at all. This was extremely unorganized, unprofessional and careless. It made me very nervous about my dogs stay there but I had already started to leave the state and could not make other arrangements. I picked her up and she seemed to be okay but then she ended up getting sick. At about the same time I received an email saying their facility had kennel cough. This experience was extremely disappointing and I will not be taking my dog there or recommending this place. It’s clearly minimum wage staff who do not prioritize animals.
My dog Loves it there! Just wish there was online cameras to watch him sometimes. Everyone is super nice!
My experience here with my two pups have been pleasant! They gave me a tour of the facility, explained all of the services they offer, and also discussed potential symptoms of my pups having a hard time adjusting to a new environment (blood in stool, hunger strike, etc) You can also pay for yard time, cuddle time, walk time and the pictures are posted on their Facebook page. It helps me feel better about being away from my pups and knowing that they are receiving human/dog socialization, interaction and attention instead of being stuck in the dog run all day. I can call anytime of the day to get an update on how my pups are doing/adjusting and they are flexible pick up/drop off times for your early morning trips or late evening pick ups. I also like that their dog runs have an indoor/outdoor feature with a heater. Their communication skill is perfect & I enjoy coming here and definitely recommend to others looking for a doggy daycare
A home away from home for our boy. Lucky Dog provides good safe and clean care. With plenty of play time with other doggie friends. IWe give Lucky Dog 5 Stars
I know my dog is in good hands at Lucky Dog. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the check in process is a breeze. I never have to worry when I drop my pets off.
We love Lucky Dog! We have been taking our dogs here for since they opened around 15 years ago in their current location. The staff is outstanding and our dogs are always excited to go. They are awesome for grooming, boarding and offer many great activities. Always feel great with their care for our dogs!
My dog loves daycare days and yard time with resort staff. Extended pick-up and drop-off times allow me to work without worrying. We are so lucky this business exists!
My dog truly enjoys her visit. Staff are very helpful with the checking in process. The pool parties are fun.
We couldn’t be happier with our Harley’s cut. He is not the most cooperative when getting groomed and the ladies here know how to handle him. The facilities are so nice and clean. 100% recommend.
Beautiful pictures and marketing, it looks great! On the other hand, living next to this place is an absolute nightmare, and that's saying it nicely. These dogs bark, wine, screach, and howl consistently all night long. It sounds like a property of anxiety, anxiety, and anxiety. It's mind-blowing how these humans on this property are able to sleep at night with these dogs yelping and echoing all night long. It's enough to drive somebody crazy. I feel sorry for the dogs that just want to sleep at night.
Proceed with caution in leaving your pets at this boarding facility. If you value a place where they take care of the employees, good ethics, and a safe environment, you will need to go somewhere better. This is first-hand experience. They discriminate against employees with disabilities. Passive aggressive responses and no accountability. There is a serious lack of communication, which then results in chaos when emergencies arise. The staff works hard to please the customers and the pets, but the owners do not support them and rather berate them. The employees are overworked and undertrained. The facility is run without proper training, especially when it comes to dog attacks or dog fights. If you are considering boarding your cat, please do not. The owner has thrown items at cats she thought were "vicious" so she can exist the boarding area. There have been many times when cats had no water prior to a shift. They will pretend like they care, but it’s not the truth. The only goal is to be the most profitable in the area, even if that means risking the health and safety of staff and animals.
Our muttsky loves it here. We've been daycare customers for about two years, with visits a once or twice per week. Their drop in policy is very accommodating. Our dog gets lots of exercise with compatible dog friends and comes home clean, frisky and (importantly) tired. We've had good experiences with the grooming and kenneling as well. We always recommend Creekside for doggy day care.
The Staff is great, very attentive understanding and always takes care of my Pup! I wouldn't go anywhere else.
Apollo who is 14 years old tried their Dog Grooming Service today. He's so happy, he likes Amanda alot. He's clean, smells soogood, and wags his tail alot.
I would give 0 stars if I could. This place changed my dog forever. Me and my dog are still scarred from this experience from Creekside. I started to notice he was extremely anxious when I picked him up, he was super desperate to jump in the car. He was between 4-7 months old. After a week I started to notice burns on his feet and neck. I knew they were shocking him and putting a shock collar on him. They never talked to me about any behaviors or asked if they could put a shock collar on him. When I went to complain they said he was being rowdy and was barking a lot and was stirring up the other dogs. Creekside admitted they used a shocking device on my dog. They also mentioned that the owners were having marital issues and that the one that kept the boarding place was having "depression" problems. I don't care, I don't know how this was relevant. I was paying for a service to have my dog watched, not be abused. He was a puppy dog - he is supposed to be energetic. To this day, he doesn't trust strangers and I have to be super aware of where I take him. He hasn't been the same ever since. I didn't take him back even though I still had a week paid left. I have pictures of his burns that I will upload once I find them. Also my friend had a bad experience at this place as well. Do not trust them with your beloved pets!
Wonderful place to board your dogs! The staff really cares about making my pup comfortable, and he always comes home happy and safe. Highly recommended if you are taking a vacation and want to make sure your dog is safe and well cared for. I can't recommend them enough!!! I trust Creekside!
I dropped off my dog here for a weeklong vacation and the staff were so kind and helpful. They helped alleviate any fears and offered to send my kiddos text picture updates to show my dog was doing okay. I would recommend this place to anyone!
They did a great job of taking care of our dogs. I appreciate that they got play time with other dogs
Lola joined our family through a temporary foster arrangement and instantly bonded with me, never leaving my side. I walked her, fed her, and spent time with her. When her original owner realized she couldn't provide Lola with the needed attention and surroundings for her physical and mental health, she made the selfless decision to give Lola to me. I love Lola deeply. When she first arrived, she was anxious and fearful of other adults, staying close to me while being skittish around my husband and son. Lola didn't know how to interact with other dogs and was even afraid of toys like frisbees, squeaky toys, and stuffed animals. She didn't know how to play. I learned about Love Dogs Camp through a friend. After seeing the impressive progress my friend’s dog was making, I wanted Lola to have the same positive experience. I felt confident in trusting Love Dogs Camp and Carolyn with Lola. Since joining Love Dogs Camp, Lola has truly blossomed. She is now comfortable with other adults, often approaching them to say hello. She plays with other dogs and eagerly seeks out playtime. The daycare program's focus on socialization has allowed Lola to come out of her shell and I am thrilled with her transformation into a happier and more well balanced individual. I greatly appreciate how Carolyn and her team check in on Lola's progress at home and provide updates on her behavior at daycare. It feels just like picking up my child from daycare. Love Dogs Camp is very welcoming, supportive, and fun for Lola. Paula Scott
Our fur baby Obi-Wan has been going to Love Dogs Camp for daycare for the past 2.5 years and he loves it there! He wears an activity tracker and gets much more activity there than at other doggie daycare places that we tried. He comes home happy and tired, ready for a long nap! This routine was very helpful during the stressful postpartum period when I was unable to take him on our daily walks. Getting used to having a human baby in the house was challenging for all of us, but going to camp twice a week really helped him. It gave him a chance to get out of the house and go to somewhere familiar and comfortable, get some good exercise and loving attention from the staff. He always came home more relaxed and better able to handle the changing circumstances. We didn’t have any behavioral issues with him after the baby came home and I know it is because of Love Dogs Camp! I recommend that all parents-to-be get their dogs into a good daycare routine before bringing a new baby home. And having the peace of mind that our dog had somewhere safe and comfortable to go while we were in the hospital was priceless. My husband was able to stay with me the entire 4 days we were in the hospital, and we came home to a relaxed and happy dog who was eager to meet his little brother!
Hoshi has been a regular at Loves Dog Camp doggy daycare for over a year. He needed more exercise, socialization, and playtime with other dogs than we could provide at home. Hoshi is always thrilled to go. Hoshi has made many friends and loves playing with other dogs. He has a special bond with the team at Love Dogs Camp. He is thrilled Carolyn comes to greet him. It's heartwarming to see. Love, Fun, and Kindness best describe Love Dogs Camp. They genuinely care about the wellbeing of the dogs and their families. Love Dogs Camp has exceeded all of our expectations. Lisa Ramirez
Home Away From Home... Love Dogs Camp has made a big difference with our dog, Pugsley, since we moved to the area 6 years ago. He was rescued from the streets of San Jose at the age of 1. Before moving to Nipomo, we researched and visited many places offering daycare and boarding, but Carolyn at Love Dogs Camp gave us the most confidence. It offers Pugsley a great environment with no kennels, freedom to roam on 5 acres and the ability to socialize with both big and small dogs. Carolyn has a wonderful trainer - Brett - who's very knowledgeable about dog behavior and nutrition and helped Pugsley become less fearful of other dogs. Supervision is a priority and he is never left alone. Carolyn does a great job vetting new dogs and their owners to ensure compatibility with her existing clientele. She also provides healthy home cooked meals for the dogs at least once a day. Whether it's for just a day or a couple of weeks for vacation, we have no concern bringing Pugsley to Love Dogs Camp. It's his home away from home.
I bring both of my dogs to Love Dogs Camp for the past 6 months or so 3x a week and they absolutely LOVE it! They come home tired and happy everyday they go and sometimes don’t even want to leave can you believe it! I have 2 young very active dogs and the time they have spent at love dogs camp has helped tremendously with not just their physical enrichment but mental as well they are very well socialized and get along great with new dogs! I would recommend this facility as Carolyn cares so deeply for dogs and all of her staff share that same love for these wonderful doggies!!! Thank you love dogs camp!
Arlo, a two-year-old Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix, was my granddaughter's dog. When she moved away, Arlo suffered from extreme anxiety. He wouldn't enter the house or walk on a leash. I searched for dog care services nearby, but no one was willing to take him. Some even suggested putting him down, which I couldn't fathom. Fortunately, I found Love Dogs Camp during my internet search. Carolyn met with me to understand Arlo's situation, and we decided to enroll him in their Board and Train program for accelerated training and socialization. After three weeks, Arlo was transformed. He developed a close bond with Brett, the dog trainer. Arlo started listening and following directions, stopped jumping, and for the first time, socialized with other dogs. He became calm, happy, and even appeared to be smiling. Love Dogs Camp helped Arlo build confidence and recover from his anxiety. Love Dogs Camp is the best place for any dog. Brett takes the time to understand each dog and works patiently with them, no matter what. The Board and Train program gave Arlo the comprehensive care and training he needed, every day. Robin W.
Carolyn and her staff are extended family to us. They have done so much to help raise and train our dog to be a sociable and loyal companion. She loves playing with all sizes of friends and we get thorough reports from the staff when we pick her up. Whether you’re new puppy parents like us or seasoned dog owners, this place will always communicate and strive to provide a fun and safe environment for your dog(s).
You know when you want to take your dog to the dog park, but you’re wary because you don’t know what kind of dogs will be there or how they’ll behave? Let’s face it; not all dog owners are conscientious dog owners. Maybe they just let their dogs loose, and then sit down and look at their phone. Carolyn Leighton might have thought about just this when she wanted to create a place for dogs monitored only by people who know and love dogs. I was lucky enough to reach Carolyn as the first person on the list I’d taken down from the internet. We had just lost a dog with behavioral issues and wanted to make sure we started off on the right foot with our new miniature Dachshund, Maverick. She spent a long time talking with me about what I was looking for, what type of dog I had, what my experiences had been so far, and more. I know now that it’s important to her to really know her clients, because when you really know your client, you will know something about their dog. Hidden among the unpaved backroads of Arroyo Grande is a place called Love Dogs Camp: acreage where the dogs can run and play together, watched and constantly related to by professional dog trainers. As the dogs interact, behaviors can be noted and corrected on the spot. Play is geared not only toward using energy, but also toward learning. During a six-hour session, the dogs play and learn, have lunch together, and then kick back and relax. No crates, no isolation! Since learning about their meals of real food, I have started feeding Maverick differently at home, too: unseasoned chicken, potato, rice, carrots, or apple might be chopped up into his kibble. When I pick Maverick up at the end of the day, Brett tells me about the activities of the day, and I take home lessons that I can practice at home. I’ve learned housetraining tips, how to stop Maverick from “marking” indoors, how to handle the evening “zoomies” when I’m exhausted from my day, and how to work with walking Maverick on leash. Knowing that my dog is being happily and lovingly taken care of, not isolated in a crate for hours at a time, allows me to manage the rest of my life and home and even have some time for myself to engage in community activities like my book club and hiking group. I can go grocery shopping without concern about leaving my dog unattended. At the end of the day, little Maverick comes home relaxed and content, and I have a dog that integrates seamlessly into my home life.
I have brought my dogs, Deiter and Maya, to Love Dogs Camp for more than eight years. Love Dogs Camp is truly special. Carolyn and her team are passionate about the wellbeing of dogs, and they engage Deiter and Maya based on their unique personalities. The Staff closely monitors the dogs, and the environment is safe. They do not spend their time in kennels. I never worry when Deiter and Maya are in their care. I use daycare, grooming, and boarding services at Love Dogs Camp. Deiter and Maya attend daycare twice per week. They get unstructured running and digging and playtime with other dogs while at camp and enjoy Carolyn’s special lunches. I am not able to do this for them at home. I credit their time at camp with their manners and ability to interact with dogs of all sizes and personalities. It’s very convenient for me to have them groomed and bathed during their daycare. I have needed to board Deiter and Maya – sometimes for extended periods of time. It is a relief to know I can leave them in a safe place they know and enjoy. Maya and Deiter love going to Love Dogs Camp, and it is now part of their routine.
We are new to LDC but a great experience so far. While more expensive than other daycares, it is worth it for our pup to be playing all day, cage free and with plenty of space to run. He is excited to go and loves the staff. He comes home tired from a day playing with friends!
Our dogs know when they are going to the kennel. They start barking as soon as we are nearing the area. The barks are happy barks. (We can tell the difference) they cannot wait to get out of the truck wagging their tails running as fast as they can. The place looks clean and enough space for the dogs.
I boarded my cat there while my house was under construction, they have a very nice set up for cat and she was happy and well taken care of.
Last minute needing a place for our Nute. Thank you Happy Tails. First time stay for our Nute. Girls are awesome. Pleasant, giving, caring & loving staff. Thank u for making our Nute feel at home Gene & Teresa & Nute Greeley CO
My puppy Dusty had his second day there and he loves it!
They did a great job taking care of our two dogs. I appreciate that they get playtime every day.
Happy tails was not our first choice but happened to be the available boarding facility for our cats. They are the priciest I found but we were desperate. Our home was having mold remediation done for weeks and I couldn't find a place to accommodate our 3 cats for at least 2 weeks. I can't speak for the cats personal experiences, they survived the stay at happy tails, but they came home with a flea infestation. After over $100 in topical and home treatments on top of our over $800 stay, I'm feeling extremely frustrated. We were so relieved to finally be back in our mold free home with our cats and then had this huge stress punch us right in the face as we returned. I don't anticipate ever having to board our cats again but after happy tails response I would choose elsewhere and also give preventative flea medication ahead of time.
My female 9yr old Beagle Mix is very shy and skeptical. Happy Tails took excellent care of her while I left on a trip for four days. On the day of pickup my all my fears were squashed. My girl was happy. She received a bath and nail trim. The rates were excellent and they served her the dietary food I provided. We are now scheduled for another four day stay and I have every confidence my little girl will be taken care of by the best!!!!! THANK YOU HAPPY TAILS!!!! Us pet parents need places like Happy Tails to keep us at ease while we travel.
They are a very caring and clean. We are comfortable leaving our dog there.
We have been taking our little, very old, deaf, and now going blind dog to Happy Tails for several years. Drop off is easy, as is pick up with early and fairly late hours. They get to know each boarder and cater to their needs. Smaller dogs, like ours, stay in Toy Town. They offer bathing services; nice to come back from vacation to a groomed pet! We will continue to entrust our furry family member to the crew at Happy Tails.
Our dogs love coming here for daycare and it's great to have the staff seem genuinely happy to see them too. They go in excited and come out exhausted and we wouldn't have it any other way. Boarding has been a breeze and the dogs seem to like it too, and have come home smelling great after their bath. Just hope all the new neighbors do not give them a hard time over the noise of excited pups - they were there first after all!
Had my sweet Mora Kitty stayed here for six nights and it was a phenomenal experience for her and us. They sent many photos of her which really helped us relax while away. The people working there are warm and love animals. Pricing is very fair and seemed very willing to accommodate food scheduling. Would definitely come back for any pet housing needs.
Our dog is super-friendly and high-energy - to the point of sometimes being obnoxious. TH figured out the best practices for him to have a positive stay without negatively affecting the other dogs there. We have boarded and done daycare here multiple times, and are always happy with our experience.
We call this place dog ranch, and boy does our dog love dog ranch! We bring him here whenever we have to go on an overnight trip that we can't bring him on. He loves playing with the other dogs all day, and we love seeing the pictures they take of him. Our dog is a social dog who loves all humans and dogs, so it's a good environment for him. Highly recommend!
Excellent kennel care for our dog while we visited San Luis Obispo and were unable to keep her at our lodging. Very friendly staff, not only to us, but to the animals. Nice clean facilities. Lovely location. Nice large common area, and thoughtful placement with other animals. Highly recommended.
The people are so friendly the dogs have a great time every time they go to day care
Thousand Hills took such great care of my two cats! It was my first time boarding them and I was nervous about it, but the staff at Thousand Hills updated me with pictures and a "report card" (I've attached an image sent over by them during their stay) and was very accommodating when I wanted to check in over the phone during their week-long stay. The staff was attentive and my cats really enjoyed themselves. The staff even notified me after check out when they realized I had left a toy I had brought for my cats behind, and they held it for me for a month until I could pick it up since I had just moved out of town. Also very very affordable and great for last minute boarding! In summary, Thousand Hills has an amazing staff and I couldn't be happier with my experience boarding. Thank you!
Our dear Corgi (Fig, 18 months old) came back a few days ago from Thousand Hill Pet Resort. It was his first boarding experience in his life (one week) and it appears he had a REALLY good time. We also had him bathed right before pick which was really nice. We could not have been happier with the staff and how well Fig went right back into his routine with 0% evidence of stress. Thanks!!!!
Thousand hills pet resort is a must for pet owners who want to go on a trip. Or need even just daycare day. Care is a low cost amount and they can save cars on file for you and have information about your pets under their file for easy drop off. And pick up and payment. They are very professional and take good care of every dog that they board or watch for daycare. My 2 Jack Russell terriers are always happy to go there and get excited once they know where we are. What is nice is that you can leave feeding instructions. Toys measures feds and other things when you need to have them boarded for when you are going on a trip or out of town for several days. This has always been a pleasant experience for me. Using thousand hills pet resort in San Luis Obispo, California.
They treated our dogs great during their overnight stay. It's a cute place with very caring and attentive staff.
Wow! We are staying nearby from out of town, and used Thousand Hills Pet Resort for daycare for our two poodle mixes in their first daycare experience. From tip to tail, everything was perfect. The online portal was easy to navigate and get all of our information uploaded. We talked to Collin the night before we came and he was so helpful and didn’t mind our many questions. He assured us our dogs would have “the best day of their lives.” Drop off was easy, and our dogs happily trotted off with Collin. Pick up was similarly a breeze. We didn’t need to remind Collin who our pups were, and he got them right away, and gave us a report card. The are currently passed out, exhausted and happy after definitely having one of the best days of their lives. We will be back!
Justin layed out all the options for puppy/dog training for our 8 month old yellow American Lab. He was realistic about training goals for an AD/HD puppy, and my wife and I chose the best training package for our long term goals, just to get him started. We have evidence that their methods work.
Michael, Justin and Stacy are truly incredible people with a love for YOUR pet! I brought my 13 pound Mini Schnauzer mix dog into their boarding facility for just shy of a couple weeks and they took excellent care of her. The activities are plentiful for the all the dogs and their kennels have A/C. Had some food restrictions but they were kind enough to accommodate. Had a bit of a dilemma but they helped me sort it out! Check them out! If you have any questions, they’re very friendly and like any other business can be reached via the phone. I want to thank each and every employee there for the work that you do! The Ruff Ranch is a terrific place for your pet if you want safety and fun activities with the other dogs And (yes), they have earned my business in the future!
The Ruff Ranch did an excellent job training our Aussie youngster. He spent 2 weeks there doing obedience training, socialization playtime with other dogs, and muzzle training. They also take excellent care of him when we have needed to boarded him. Their trainers are consistent, and best of all...you get a video of your dog learning new skills everyday they are in the board and train program.
I recently boarded my 8 year old Brittany spaniel at Ruff Ranch. I had to book him for a 2 weeks stay at a last minute notice due to a family emergency. I am so thankful he was able to stay there. The owner and employees were so friendly, professional and very organized. When I went to pick him up he was happy, clean and the same as always. I have tried other boarding facilities in the area but Ruff Ranch is my favorite.
Imagine an iconic doggie destination retreat complete with fun, tail-wagging friends and the best-trained training staff ever! That and more is what you'll find at Ruff Ranch. The grounds are gorgeous (there's a lake!), the accommodations are spacious and well-appointed, and doggedly clean and safe. I've often wished I had whiskers and a tail so I could hang out at the ranch, too! Justin and the Ruff Ranch team bring a quality of professionalism that is unrivaled in this business field and rare in others. We and our dog so appreciate the patience, skill, and professionalism this team combines in caring for and training our rascally border collie and all the other pups who have the good fortune to cross the Ruff Ranch threshold.
Everyone at the Ruff Ranch is so kind and genuinely loves dogs. I have used many doggy day cares over the years and this is the only one that my dog happily runs into. All the staff greet him by name and remember him (even when he hasn't been there in weeks). I love that they take the time to get to know your dog and their temperament and gently introduce them into the right play yards and don't overwhelm them. It is also the only place I have felt comfortable boarding our dog, especially since I know they get lots of playtime and and attention.
The folks at Ruff Ranch are wonderful! Michael at the front always is on top of our drop offs and pick ups, even surprising me with his efficiency. Anthony has been super patient with our dog Skye who always needs a bit more time acclimating to a new daycare. Nani is loving her playtime and special attention from her new human friends. We are thankful to have found Ruff Ranch during our move to the Valley!
The Ruff Ranch is fantastic! They are very thoughtful about the initial intake and make sure your dog will do well there. They clearly care so much for the doggies. Our rescue pup did great the first day and now loves going for a day here and there. She comes back so happy and tired it's amazing. Cannot say enough great things about them.
The staff is awesome and make Ruff Ranch what it is. Even though my dogs don't go to Ruff Ranch regularly, I've met the owner and most all of the Staff. They are a friendly, positive bunch willing to help you with any issue. Reception area is welcoming, pleasant and professional. I haven't had the opportunity to use any of the optional services yet, but they will even take your dog to vet appointments if needed! Other services include grooming, nails and dispensing meds. Ruff Ranch is the most complete daycare and boarding facility for dogs in the area.
I brought my 3 year old rescued black Labrador retriever named Kobe to Ruff Ranch for a week long training. Kobe had a lot of behavioral issues, as it was clear from the moment we adopted him 5 months ago, includes counter surfing, not responding to 'come' and wanted to sit at the dinner table to eat our dinner! he was a bit of a mess and after two months we decided to take him to Ruff Ranch. Kobe has come a long way since then, and with the tools and lessons they provided us, to continue training, Kobe is much easier to work with and has transformed into an amazing loyal dog. Maureen and Justin are certified AKC trainers and go above and beyond with your dog and they do it with love. They have an amazing caretakers that are part of a synergistic teamwork. In addition to training, they offer daycare and overnight boarding, and even have Pajama doggie parties. I give them 10 stars.
I was very nervous to leave my two older dogs. I found Lisa on the internet. I called her and we immediately set up an appointment so she could meet us and our fur babies. I could tell right away that all was going to work out by the way Lisa interacted with the pups. We just returned from our trip and I had 2 happy and well-cared for dogs. While I was gone, Lisa posted pictures showing the dogs eating, playing, getting petted and loved on. Those photos put a big smile on my face. Will I have Lisa come back...you bet!!! She was perfect for my guys and me.
Lisa is amazing! She was great with my pets! I found her online and was nervous leaving my fur babies. While I was on my trip she took great care of them! She sent me pictures of dogs playing and getting pet. When I got back the dogs were doing great. I will always go to Lisa when I need pet sitting.
My two spoiled cats, Cali Coe and Tiny Dancer were treated so well I worried they would demand to move in with Lisa and her daughter. I can't thank her enough, it made my trip better!
UPDATE: It has been over a month and the drama continues. The owner initially refused to respond to requests despite them having my house key for a month without my consent. Whenever she responds she accuses me of harassment. She has tried to dodge all responsibility for losing my house key, even claiming I signed an agreement where Posh Pets is not responsible for any keys they lose. I requested the reference (as I have missed paragraphs in the past, it was possible I missed it now). She seemed pretty happy to do so. Honestly, so was I, so I could close this drama out and block all associated contact information. However, when I checked my phone after work, I found I was yet again being accussed of being too emotional and committing harassment...all because I am not, as far as I can tell, acquiescing to her demands. ORIGINAL: Very unprofessional. I'm absolutely floored by this experience. Multiple states and countries using pet sitters and have never experienced this. I should have known but I ignored the red flags. Over an hour late for the first meeting with no notification. Told I would get photos/touch points (my words) every visit. [I was told at the end this is not a guarantee and she didn't know who told me that....]. Had to constantly ask for pics during every trip. This was how I discovered they forgot to feed my cats one day- was never refunded but it drove me to get some auto feeders so they would at least have dry food if forgotten again (silver lining). But then they weren't sure if they missed the day or not. The icing was three days before leaving on a work trip, they can't get in the safe to get my house key and, apparently, it is MY problem to solve. I found this out at 8:30pm. After confronting them with their unprofessionalism, my service was cancelled, and oh...I can't get my only spare key back for a couple weeks (I rent so I can't go making random keys). This is after my upcoming work trip. Great position to put my cats and me in. Appreciate it. I will say they did dig out some litter from some boxes when I first moved to the area, was sent on a one week work trip immediately, and thought one bag would work since I had recently purchased a litter robot. So according to PPS, because I made that mistake, it's okay for their unprofessionalism.
