Absolutely recommend fir tree pets hotel, it was our first time leaving our Frenchie when we went away for 2 weeks. They made us feel so welcomed and made us feel at ease knowing he was going to be well looked after. They kept us up to date with how he was getting on and sent lots of photos. Very happy and highly recommend would definitely use them again.

Just picked up our dog after our holiday, it's was Lunas third stay at Fir Tree Pets Hotel and she is always happy to stay and I'm confident by the way she is when we collect her she has been well looked after and enjoyed her stay. Would recommend to anyone looking for a boarding kennel for their pet.

My two dogs stayed here last week whilst I was on holiday and they were looked after brilliantly. I was kept updated with how they were and they were truly spoilt there to ensure they were happy. Definitely recommend and will be leaving them there again without a doubt.

This was the first time I used fir tree but it definitely won’t be the last. My 9 year old jack Russel seemed very comfortable and very well looked after. The staff are lovely and put my mind at rest from the moment I met them. Thoroughly recommend

Not very good, I won't be using again, my dog absolutely stunk of old urine and his bed had to be thrown away when I picked him up, I have used other kennels before and never had this! My first time using this one and never again! Also my dog was very stressed when I picked up! Never using kennels again, he will be coming on holiday with us in the future. I just had a email saying this is fake! I can assure you that it not! We had our dog stay in September

Our beautiful girl stayed for a few nights and had such a fantastic time. She was so relaxed under the experience of the lovely staff. They were very helpful in guiding us on preparation to the stay and kept in touch with updates. We were thrilled with the conditions and the love they showed our girl. She came home very relaxed and a happy dog. We’re so grateful to the team for their fantastic work. She’s all booked in for her next stay!

Our two dogs spent a week here. They aren't used to kennels but they warmed to the team at Fir Tree and the whole stay went very smoothly. Dogs now snoozing on their sofa 😂 …

We booked our 8 year old rescue in for his first ever stay in kennels for a 2 week stay( holiday booked way before we adopted him) with the previous owners, so I was very surprised when I took our boy for his holiday to find Lauren ,Charlie and Kirsty to welcome us. We'll...what a lovely welcome, Lauren,Charley and Kirtsy seemed pleased to meet and welcome him into their care. While he was staying with them we had regular updates and photos too to help put our minds at rest, which we were very grateful for. Communication was excellent and on our return they were very accommodating due to our flight was being a little delayed, we couldn't collect when we had first agreed. Lauren was so helpful and seemed to take a real shine to our lovely lad. We are very thankful, we will return and we highly recommend. Thank you Fir Trees Pet Hotel. put a neurotic new mum(me) at ease.

Our two dogs stayed for two weeks , they both seemed very well when we picked them up , but they both smelt of stale urine , and so did their beds . We had to buy new beds for them , as the smell did not wash out of the beds , even at 60 degrees !!! Overall a very expensive experience . We won’t be using this kennel again .

My dogs have been going for walks with Zoe at Happy Hounds, for the last four years. Zoe is an excellent dog walker, and genuinely cares about the dogs, and gets to know them well. I trust Zoe with our dogs,and they love her, and her dog too. The joy they show when they are with Zoe, and the other dogs is heartwarming. Zoe goes above and beyond for the dogs, and to make any changes, if required. Her communication is excellent. Zoe has driven to our house, some miles away, and carried out drop in visits, and also fed our two cats, who also love her. Zoe has also carried out drop ins on our dogs, and taken them out for walks, whilst we were at a wedding. Nothing is too much trouble. Zoe is very accommodating. What we love too, is that Zoe keeps her Facebook page, up to date, so we can see pictures and videos. Zoe is a great photographer, and may only use her phone, but really does get some fabulous snapshots of the sessions, and the walks. We would wish for none other than Zoe, and we all love Zoe and Happy Hounds, and it’s a very big part of our family.

Highly recommended!! We trust Zoe implicitly with our Doug!! She has been walking him since he was a puppy and he absolutely adores her and the other happy hounds!! Zoe has also done home visits for Doug when we’ve been out at work!! 💛 …

Debbie recently looked after our ducks & chickens for 10 days whilst we were abroad. We got daily updates with photos, which really put my mind at ease as I was so worried about leaving them. She was amazing, and she really did look after them for us. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for pet sitting services.

I highly recommend Pet Sitting Bridgwater. Debbie is the most caring person I have ever met. She took great care of our two cats while we were away, giving them the best care, treats and lots of petting 🥰 I was so impressed by her professionalism and reliabity. She was sending us daily texts about how our furry babies are doing, she even went the extra mile and bought them treats and toys. Special bonus the chocolates waiting for us when we returned home. Debbie is caring, efficient and professional. I have a nervous cat, and was worried about leaving her. I had no need to worry, as 'Moomoo' was very happy with Debbie... and she loved the cat treats! Debbie sent me daily updates and pictures. I will definitely be asking Debbie to look after Moomoo in the future.

We were concerned at first about using a service and a stranger to look after our nervous cat Mia, but we couldn’t have been more wrong. Debbie soon put our fears to bed and we couldn’t have asked for someone better to look after her. It’s a fantastic service and I’m so pleased that I didn’t have to leave Mia in a strange cattery. When we returned from holiday Mia was happy & chilled, all her food bowls were clean and plenty of water in her bowl. We will certainly use Debbie & pet sitting again and can’t recommend this service highly enough.

I have a nervous frightened rescue lab and the Cheddar team have been amazing with her - Liz takes her out about three or four days most months and has built an amazing rapport with her. Having used their dog walking service regularly for at least 18 months I thoroughly recommend them. Amy and team very flexible, responsive and utterly reliable. Thankyou

We have been using Friends for Pets for a number of years now and have always been pleased with their service. We have Cats, Rabbits and Aquatic Turtles, so a range of animals and nothing is too much trouble. Our Carer always goes the extra mile, whether it's picking dandy's for the bunnies or sending a text to say everything is ok. Without their trusted service a longer family holiday wouldn't be an option and we always come home to happy, well looked after pets.

Hi It was a real relief finding FRP when we moved to this area. We are very pleased with our experience. The ladies that we have are lovely and always leave us feedback on their experience with our pet. (Liz & Margaret). Due to our jobs and short shift changes, we often have to cancel and/or ask for somebody really quickly to help us out. We have been really lucky with this and find them really reliable. Often if they have no staff available the girls step in themselves and help out. We really appreciate this. They are honest reliable and trustworthy. I thoroughly recommend them to others.

I have used Friends for Pets on a number of occasions and always found them to be reliable and conscientious. My two tabby cats - Coppi and Willow - enjoy their visits and although Coppi is nervous(being a rescue cat)he has accepted the visits very well and will even allow grooming. I would highly recommend Friends for Pets.

I absolutely rely on Friends for Pets every time we go away. I have known the organisation for 3 years, and cannot fault the care and professionalism of the staff, they are simply wonderful, and very affordable. And of course, most importantly our pussycat Miss Millie is much happier when we return. She does not like to leave her territory, so it is a win-win deal :-)

The entire staff team take the best care of our dachshund ( annie) we get pictures of her on her walks and when she is at doggy day care. We feel they love her almost as much as we do.

We have used FFP for several years and have found them wonderful and the dogs enjoy their walks when we go away for a weekend or holiday and cannot take them with us. Would highly recommend them. Best of all the dogs like them.

Wish could give Avery 10 stars!!!! Maria accommodated my 2 dogs at extremely short notice and the level of service from the 1st point of contact was 1st class. The kennels are brilliant and safe, also Maria and Co walk the dogs (even sent me videos) which is reassuring to know that your loved pets are getting the same care at the kennels. The best staycation in north somerset by far and couldn't recommend Avery enough. My sharpei and cavapoo had the best time, thank you so much 😊

Both of my dogs recently had a trial stay at Avery, they were absolutely knackered when they returned home so they must’ve enjoyed themselves. Maria and Dave are great! Have booked in for another 2 stays later on in the year. Would definitely recommend. Nice to receive a video during their stay too, gives you that little bit of extra reassurance!

A really lovely, family run small kennels. I had full confidence our dog was having a lovely stay. Plenty of exercise and socialisation, and reassuring updates with videos of our lovely pup having a brilliant time! Would highly recommend.

We have used Avery & Co twice now for our two labs and would highly recommend them. Maria and Dave look after the boys so well, even sending us a picture of the boys enjoying themselves whilst we were on holiday. It’s sometimes stressful leaving your pets behind but with Avery @Co I know they are being looked after and we can enjoy our holiday with peace of mind.

Can’t recommend Maria highly enough! Due to various personal circumstances our dog had to stay here for over 6 weeks. Bailey is very nervous with new people so Maria accommodated a few meet and greets beforehand and went out of her way to make her comfortable. We got regular photos and videos and Bailey was clearly having an absolute ball and felt completely comfortable there. It was so reassuring to see and gave us complete peace of mind.

What can I say? 100% would recommend Maria and Avery Kennels. Above and beyond service, updated regularly, and my pooch came home happy and chilled! She’s hated kennels in the past, not eaten and returned home a ‘bag of nerves’ . Not this time! It is so reassuring to go away knowing the pooch is happy! For the first time, I didn’t waste my holiday worrying that she was stressed. A small family run kennels beautiful setting, a huge area for play time and beautiful countryside for the walks. Thank you soooo much Maria!

So happy with the service provided by Maria and Avery Boarding Kennels. She provided a real home from home for our nervous boy after we were badly let down by our previous kennels. Our dog was really well looked after, enjoyed several walks and even bonded with the gorgeous resident dog! Thank you guys! We will definitely be using you again in future! xx

Monty stayed at Avery Kennels in august, his first time in kennels! . Maria and gang were amazing, loads of love, care and attention given to Monty he came back home after his little holiday the same happy content dog he went. Thank you, will definitely be rebooking.

I had an operation and had to find somewhere for my 2 dogs for 3 weeks. Wow did I find the perfect place. Marie and her husband are dedicated to looking after your furry best friends like they were their own. Exceptionally clean kennels and a large enclosed play area for them. Long walks daily and video updates. I virtually had to drag them out to come home. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you.
