The most important thing for me to go away on holiday with peace of mind is know that Finn is being well looked after, and that he’s safe and happy. I know I can count on Jess, she’s the best I could wish for, and I know Finn thinks so too! Jess also has a fantastic team of girls who work with her, totally trustworthy and caring. Have no problem recommending them all 100%!!

We discovered CoCo & Barley 4 years ago before we even had Bella. I contacted Jess for advice regarding socialising a new puppy etc and her advice was invaluable. Jess and her lovely team of ladies have been a constant in Bella’s life! She goes to Daycare and boards with Jess when we are on holiday which was something very important to us that we knew she was safe and being cared for in a home from home environment and she certainly is!

We spent months looking for somewhere that our rescue dog Stanley would be cared for and would feel at home when we needed holiday boarding & day care. We came across Coco & Barley and after reading the reviews and seeing so many photos of happy pups in their care I knew nowhere else would compare. Stanley had his first visit today and I was more than happy to leave him knowing how much fun he'd have. Jess made it all so easy and has been really welcoming and helpful, I'd recommend them without hesitation!

Leaving my anxious rescue girl with someone was a massive step for me but I'm so happy with the service at C&B. Jess is so kind to Badger and sends me pictures of her having fun on her holiday. It's a huge weight off my shoulders knowing she's well looked after and I can have a social life again!

Our very giddy pup goes to coco & barley every week (both for day care and walks) and has done for 2 years now. Bailey absolutely loves it and comes home shattered every time. Jess & the team are all absolutely lovely and the service is brilliant, collecting/dropping off, letting themselves in and out of the house to collect Bailey (who is always raring to go) while we’ve been at home with a newborn has been so helpful but also while we have both been in the office. Personal favourite is the photos on insta so we can see what she’s been up to. Definitely recommend and 100% worth the money.

The best doggy day care and dog walking service in the area, well in the country if you ask me! I used Jess and her team when I loved in the local area and they are the most professional dog walking service that I have come across. They go above and beyond to care for your precious pooches, they spoil them! The day care service is amazing, Jess has created an amazing atmosphere for the doggys and they have the best time whilst there - I know my little pup did. I have since relocated to York and I have still not found a service that is anywhere close to what Jess offers. FIVE STARS *****

Coco and Barley have been nothing shy of extraordinary. I trust them to look after my frenchie no end. The genuine care, passion and love given to all the dogs I have seen is incredible. We went on holiday for the first time for just over 2 weeks and before hand I was worried about our dog been away from us for such a long time. Whilst away we did not worry and knew our dog was loved and safe. The minute I met Jess I was put straight at ease. She interacted with my dog with love and knowledge of his breed. I will never stop recommending Coco and Barley we will never go anywhere else. Outstanding services with people who care!

We have sent our Cocker Spaniel (Sweep) to Animal Magic Family for just over a year now and we have found Vicky to be very reliable and her new venue / facilities are outstanding. Sweep goes to day care 2/3 days per week plus he stays over when we go on holiday which is great for us and for Sweep as he is in an environment he knows and is not anxious about being left for a length of time. Sweep clearly loves going as he jumps straight into Vicky’s car when he’s picked up in the morning, when he gets dropped off later that day he will sleep most of the night so he clearly has been happily playing all day, we can see from her Facebook and Instagram photos that Sweep is having a great time. We have no hesitation in recommending Vicky as we feel safe in the knowledge that Sweep is looked after properly, he’s exercised and socialised with other friendly dogs. We trust Vicky implicitly to look after our pet.

We recently left our 11 month old Cockapoo for 2 weeks of home boarding, and it is safe to say that he couldn't have had a better time! Vicky clearly loves animals (and they love her too) and he couldn't have been in better hands. Animal Magic Family is set in beautiful grounds where the dogs can play freely, and the quality of care they receive is second to none. I will definitely be getting in touch for future stays and couldn't recommend the service highly enough. Thank you! : )

We ordered a Mad Hatters Tea Party for a birthday lunch for 4. It was delivered to our door and all we could do was say 'wow' each time we opened a box. Animal Magic Family is a wonderful place. Vicky can not do anymore for you and your dogs. We have two beagles that stay regularly when we go away. Our boys love staying with her and almost don’t want to come home!! I highly recommend her for home boarding or doggy day care 😊 …

We have used Victoria for a number of years. Our crazy lovely boy is exceptionally looked after in both doggy day care and doggy stay over. He absolutely loves his time there. Victoria cares for our boys as if he were her own. It such a comfort to know, not only is he enjoying himself so much, but he is so well looked after. It has actually made him a better doggy citizen being socialised and being so well stimulated during his time at AMF.

Took out 1yr old Cockapoo for his first stay over and have subsequently booked in for more. Great to see him running around with other dogs and they even showered him before his return! Great service and see you again soon.

Lilly our 3 half yrs old Vizsla goes to Vicky one day a week on ‘Day care’. To give me a break plus Lilly loves having to whizz or fun play with other dogs. She absolutely loves going there. She also had stayed over during our wedding plus holidays as home boarding type. Lilly hates Kendals as she only went once as lost so much weights. She’s so much happier in home surrounding type of boarding. Animal magic family by Vicky is highly recommend. Lilly been for over 2 years now.

My dog went here on a sleepover for the first time, he returned happy and settled, he will be returning. They offer a wide range of services to meet all dogs needs. They show love and support to animals.

We went on holiday for 10 days and our 2 huskies had a 10 day holiday here! I was so worried leaving them for so long but they’ve absolutely loved it, come back happy fed and exercised! I would definitely recommend Morton villa pet hotel to anyone. Thank you to the lovely staff!

I wish I could give more stars to Liz and her team. We sent our reactive rescue German Shepherd here for just over 2 weeks who is known to display signs of aggression towards people and who doesn’t like strangers going anywhere near him or interacting with him. We was so nervous to send him to the kennels however, when picking him up he came out the happiest dog ever, who just wanted to be cuddled and stroked by Liz during his time at Morton Villa. Our boy, who was so scared of the world who once wouldn’t let anyone near him let Liz handle him without a muzzle on or a care in the world. Honestly an amazing team who know exactly what they are doing. He came home looking all nice and groomed and smelling nice. Couldn’t recommend enough and will be booking our dogs back in next year.

Well maintained housing for the dogs and cat, which were well looked after and were in good condition and happy when we picked them up. The staff were helpful and friendly.

We have kept our two lurchers here a few times over the past 12 months after being disillusioned with where we kept them prior. The last time was a two week stay over new year into January 24 . The staff here are superb and they definitely go the extra mile to help if there's any specific needs for your dogs. Our dogs always come back to us happy and with no weight loss ( unlike the last place) I think the paddocks make a massive difference with our dogs as they are a very active breed and need the space to run about. I would highly recommend Morton Villa for your dogs ,we will definitely be giving them a few more holidays here ,whilst we have ours!!! Dave and Jacqui Ellis

First time leaving our dog with someone else for an extended period of time. Our dog has had numerous health issues and has displayed some anxiety based aggressive tendencies before, so when we were ready to leave her for a family wedding we wanted to make sure we gave her to a kennels who were understanding and specialised with those behaviours. Morton pet villa has really been great and when we picked our dog up she was really happy and loving to the staff! We are taking her back to them in a few weeks for a longer stay and we feel so relaxed. Will definitely be repeated customers :) thank you!

Fantastic 5* care given to our very nervous whippet Blue. Nothing was too much trouble. We travel approximately two hours to drop him off and pick him up but this boarding kennel is worth it. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with him. Thank you Morton Pet Villa.

Absolutely love these guys. Best care our dogs have ever had, ever. I would never have anyone else look after our pups now. All of them have different needs as they are all at different life stages and have had injuries. Nicki and Chris totally zone into each client human and pups to make sure the dogs are happy and content and well looked after. They are well equipped and they now have their own field which is a great safe spot for dogs to run around in. Your canine family are truly in good hands with these guys.

Nikki & Criss are excellent, our dog Murphy has been challenging over the years! but they are so patient with him and he loves going on his walks. He also holidays with them when we’re away and it’s like his second home! I can’t recommend them enough.

Great place for the doggos to run around off lead without fear they will run off. Met by the owner as it was my first visit and he was absolutely lovely! Gave all the information and my boy loved it! I will definitely be returning! Thanks for providing this safe space!

You couldn’t leave your dog in better hands. They really pay attention to each one and have fantastic facilities for dogs to run around safely.

First time we have put our dogs in kennels and I’m so glad we chose Croftmount they looked after our two French bulldogs amazingly, nothing was too much trouble, they also sent photos to show us they were ok lovely spacious kennels , TV, radio , lovely secure field to run around off lead in and not mixed with others Can’t thank Croftmount enough for looking after our boys .

So well organised,ultra caring and homely. Our dog can be anxious away from home ,but after settling in he clearly loved his time at croftmount. He was calm and happy when I arrived to collect him.

Absolutely delighted to have had this place recommended to me by my dog trainer. We have an incredibly anxious cockapoo and I never really believed we'd be able to leave her happily. She had a day visit to Croftmount followed by just a one night stay to see how she got on before we booked her in for longer. She ate well, looked relaxed in the photographs of her outside and even enjoyed cuddles. When we went to pick her up she went over to the lady who'd been looking after her to give her a nose bump first before she enthusiastically greeted us. I feel 100% confident leaving my dog at Croftmount and recommending it to others.

A friendly, safe, comfortable place that was clean and welcoming. The staff were knowledgeable, accommodating and friendly. The accommodation was first-class and roomy, they even have TVs in every room. The graden is large and secure, our dogs are always happy to stay.

Our two 🐕 dogs Bandit a Collie Labrador cross age12 and Angel our 2 year old Jack Russell stayed here whilst we went away in May. We we're so impressed with the care they received and the regular updates and photos were 👏 amazing! We will definitely be using these kennels again. Thank you for taking great care of our babies.

This place is absolutely amazing. Last minute booking to get my fur baby in and they managed no problem and was accommodating from the 1st moment of contact, when dropping Arya off the place looks amazing and super clean. It was clearly a holiday for our girl. She had the most amazing time and was given regular updates on how she was doing. Couldn't of asked a better place to look after her. Thank you so much. Fantastic kennels! Would recommend to anyone. Our 2 very energetic Weimaraner’s are always very well cared for with lots of walks and attention! Huge field out back which is great for them to safely run off their energy! Never any issues and always kept updated whilst away with photos of them playing outside and enjoying their stay. Great and friendly staff and extremely clean! 5* stars!

My 2 ' babies ' have stayed at Croftmount several times from when it first opened. They have always been well looked after in clean, comfortable and spacious kennels. And always looked very happy when we went to collect them. I know they are safe there and can rest easy whilst I am away. The staff and Janette the owner go the extra mile for the dogs if they need special food or medication. I even have then groomed at the Resort too. Highly Recommended.

Merlin and Cooper have just returned from a 2 week holiday at the pet resort and they loved it. I was fretting on holiday but was updated with pictures and they were having such a good time. The staff are lovely and the place is brilliant especially the secure outdoor space which they loved. Well done Croftmount they will definitely be staying again xx

My 1 year old C, Spaniel stayed with Natalie over Christmas for 11 nights. She seemed to have a fantastic stay. Natalie sent pictures and videos to show just what a wonderful time she was having. Natalie has a lovely spacious garden with easy to clean artificial grass. She kept the doors open to her house so the dogs could come in and out as they pleased with access to their water bowls. I was completely at easy leaving my fur baby with Natalie and would recommend her to friends and family . 5,🌟 rating from us.

Over the past few years 3 of my dogs have stayed with Natalie and I've always been extremely happy with the service she provides. Natalie knows how to handle and look after dogs, and my cockerpoo Charlie loves staying with her. Natalie is also very professional in her approach, which gives me the comfort and reassurance to be able to enjoy our holidays without him.

My dogs have stayed with Natalie numerous times since they were puppies, and they always come back looking like they've had a good holiday themselves. Pugs are sensitive dogs, and at Natalie's they trot out of the car, through her garden and settle themselves down in her kitchen pretty quickly! It is their second home. We always receive a photograph or two of what they have been up to.

After having a dreadful experience with another dog kennels near to where we live we were happy to find:- 'A Home From Home For Dogs.' Our little Shi Tzu is a nervous little dog plus she is blind in one eye and I had to know she was happy when we had to leave her or go away on holiday. Natalie has been a godsend to us our little Shi Tzu loves her to bits and really enjoys going to stay with her. We started her with just a day to see how she got on but before long she was enjoying her holidays like it was her second home. Natalie has a great empathy with dogs I wouldn't hesitate in recommending her to anyone and knowing your Dogs are safe and well cared for, to me is paramount. Natalie is like my Dogs second Mum X

Used this service for our special needs dachshund for a one-off daycare while we were on holiday. Natalie provides a very professional service, was quick to respond to messages and her home was clean and well setup for dog daycare/boarding . Would definitely use her again.

Would absolutely reccomend to anyone. A much nicer environment than kennels. We were provided with photos throughout our holiday and updated with messages on how our dog was. Been to Natalie. Today with our two westie's Dexter and daisy And it was a waste off time She never really made dexter and daisy feel at easy with her. Well daisy never went near her. And daisy always goes to people . Natalie then said she was happy with dexter and daisy. Said about picking dates for them to come to her. So thought everything was good. Then with him 15 minutes She texted and said that dexter and pee on her curtain s. He never does anything at home. I would say to any one. Don't go to her

Our dog Maximo always has a wonderful time. We can leave him there safe in the knowledge that he will be loved and looked after. Highly recommended.

Our dog Bear has been staying regularly... He is always so relaxed when he gets back, straight back into his usual routines, but when ever we drop him off he's so excited to come back.

Josie is so professional, reliable, trustworthy and kind. My little Vinnie loves his playtime and is so much more sociable with other dogs than he was prior to Josie taking him out. Would definitely recommend this business if your looking for someone to trust with your fur baby.

Josie is the best in the business! Honestly could not ask for anyone better to look after our dog. She goes out of her way to make owners and more importantly the dogs feel comfortable. Our dog, Nala, loves going to Josie’s for doggy daycare, but loves an over night stay where cuddles are always on the cards. Communication is incredible, couldn’t ask for more. Regular updates, photos and videos that let you know how your little puppy is getting on. Josie has been walking our dog for a little over a year now. Having a high energy dog, it has been very important that she gets enough exercise on days I am working. Josie has been more than accommodating of our needs and always makes sure our dog is well exercised, well socialised, and well trained. It is clear Josie goes above and beyond to take care of our dog from how excited our dog is to see her, and how much her behaviour has improved on her walks. We receive regular updates and pictures from her, and it is so lovely to see our dog spending meaningful time out and about with her pals. I am so grateful to Josie, and cannot recommend her enough - she provides a fantastic service and with her I am certain my dog is in safe hands and having a blast.

Could not recommend Josie enough! We feel so lucky to have found Haworth Hounds; Josie is super flexible, gives JJ the best, most fun walks and he is so happy to be with her. We love the videos that she sends with JJ having fun on his walk and we love how she mixes up the destinations to keep it interesting. You won't regret booking!

Josie is so lovely I would always recommend her. We were able to get a puppy due to Josie offering her puppy services which included checking on him, playing with him feeding him and cleaning up after him during the week for our little puppy. She came to meet him before hand and Rory loves his Josie visits. She is so lovely and professional and always sends little pup dates so we have peace of mind at work. Josie genuinely cares which is so reassuring to know someone you can trust is looking after you pup.

We use Haworth Hounds for boarding and Josie is fab. We know they're safe and happy with someone who loves dogs, and that it is a home away from home for them while we're away.

Blue loves her humans and dogs friends at Haworth Hounds. Josie always commumicates about pick up/drop off and sends regular dog updates (pictures and videos) from Blue's walks and sleep overs. Josie is really flexible and always helps out, even at short notice. I never worry about Blue when she is with Haworth Hounds, I know she is loved and part of their family.

Initially, we were looking for a reliable dog boarder for our border collie to stay with whilst we were on holiday. When we found Josie, we agreed that it would be best for her and Chief to create a relationship before his stay. Well, after only one session we could see the bond was reciprocal in love and affection. Chief adores Josie and runs to the door ready for his walks. They've created a lovely bond and you can really see the love she has for all animals and not just our pup. We feel lucky to have found someone so understanding and patient who is helping us out more than she knows! I love seeing the videos and photos of him and getting updates on his doggy behaviour! He always looks so happy with Josie! Couldn't recommend Haworth Hounds enough!!

Ruby has been staying with Joe for a number of years, she was recently diagnosed with diabetes and has lost her sight. I cannot thank Joe and Andrew enough for their excellent care of Ruby and administering her insulin. They are amazingly helpful and I feel fully reassured that Ruby is getting the best care possible.

We just had our 2 dogs stay with Joe for 8 nights. It was the first time we’d ever had any of our dogs at kennels so were a little apprehensive. Joe sent us videos and pics whilst we were away which reassured us they were happy and doing well. When we got back it was clear the dogs were happy and comfortable and had a good time. They were healthy with wagging tails so what more could we ask for. They even had a bath before coming home which is a really nice touch. Thanks Joe for looking after them so well and we wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Ashwood to anyone.

This was our first time leaving our dog with Joe and I couldn't be more pleased. We had used our previous kennels for 11 years and unfortunately, they closed down. I was really worried about leaving our 12 year old Jack Russell in a new place but he was absolutely fine. The free bath service was a massive bonus as we didn't have to chuck him in the bath as soon as we got home. Highly recommended and we'll definitely be going back.

Great kennels , really clean and welcoming and Joe and Co are really friendly and helpful. Molly looked after our cat Aspen in November (2023) and from meeting Molly on the initial meet I knew Aspen would be well looked after, and she really was! Molly has been brilliant in helping us with our new rescue dog, Jessie. Molly's advice and hands on assistance has been invaluable in dealing with Jessie's occasionally challenging behaviours. Molly and Kate exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we contacted them (very short notice too!) we felt reassured by their professionalism and genuine love for animals. They were also so accommodating! The care and attention they provided to our baby boy were outstanding. Not only they followed all of our instructions to the letter but also went above and beyond to ensure our boy felt loved and comfortable in our absence. The daily updates and photos they sent eased any worries we had, allowing us to truly relax during our time away. Our boy Sherlock loves them and wants to say thank you for all the treats and love! Molly is the absolute best. She's very knowledgeable and always takes pics on the walks of them all enjoying themselves. She has also done pet taxi for me at last minute many a time and cheap. Can't recommend more highly. The best dog walker I have ever had!

Molly has provided amazing service going to feed and visit my cat while we have been away. She is reliable and communicates really well, including sending daily updates with photos and videos. The services are extremely good value for the peace of mind she provides for us.

Attended loose lead and recall class run by Molly. A noticeable change in my Labrador Milo in 4 weeks, he used to pull like a train and now walks calmly at my side. Molly's professionalism and knowledge shines through. Thanks for changing my boy, highly recommended.

Came back from 2 weeks away yesterday during thr time which one of our dogs became seriously ill. Carol and the amazing girls at mount pleasant have been wonderful with visits back and forth to the vets. We are truly thankful for all you did during this time. Treating our pets as if they were your own. We will forever be thankful for all you did.

We dropped our dog off for over 1 week stay, he has to have tablets daily for Leishmaniasis which can cause many problems. The staff did a great job looking after him including putting in extra effort to make sure he was eating correctly and getting enough sleep. Both very important for his condition, I rang up half way through his stay and they gave me a good update on his stay. We picked him up and he was absolutely fine and did not loose weight or have any other problems or issues after the stay. This will be our regular kennel from now, the staff did a great job and we are all very happy. Well done to everyone that works at mount pleasant kennels.

Just left our terrier for 5 days, 5 star kennels you can see the owners and their staff love animals, our dog is the most fussy eater you will come across but when we picked her up she had not lost weight, will definitely reccomend well mount pleasant kennels to anyone with the highest praise

Overcharged by £6 - website says 2 dogs sharing £30 per day (or part day- another thing to be wary of!). I was charged £66 for an overnight booking. I didn't argue at checkout, but I won't be using this establishment again.

My old dog used to come every year.but now I have a rescue dog who's never stayed here before. I was a bit worried how she'd be because she suffers from stress anxiety but she was fine well looked after. She'll be going again this year And the staff are lovely

Sandra and the team have looked after our 2 cats Jasper and Ruby for the past 8 years and they are amazing with them. Nothing is too much trouble for them including special diets and medications. The care they provide is exceptional on all levels and the team are so friendly and efficient. I would and have recommended them to friends and colleagues without hesitation. I’ve just collected my girl Frankie from here after an 8 day stay. The staff have been lovely to deal with, have kept me up to date when I’ve called to see how she was settling in. She was very happy when I collected her and has even got rid of some of her spayed weight that I’ve been trying to get off her.

The people at Mount Pleasant Kennels and Cattery seem to look after our cat really well and do a great job whenever we go on holiday.

Since getting our beautiful rescue dog in Feb, we have been using Mount Pleasant Kennels, both for short stays when I am away for work and longer stays when we have been on holiday. It was really hard leaving him the first time, but Carol put my mind at ease and showed me around where he would be staying. She said I could call to check in on him and that was really comforting. The staff are all so so lovely and give him a fuss when he arrives. I know he is well taken care of. He is excited to go and stay now, wags his tail as we approach the gates! Thanks Carol and Stuart!
