Diane (Bogie) gave EJ lots of attention and took him for many many walks during my absence. She also froze some of the leftovers that I had prepared so that I would have food upon my return--again, much appreciated without having to go shopping immediately. Her compassion did not go unnoticed!!

As a first time Housesitters user, I didn’t really know what to expect. That being said, Charity set the bar really high! My home and my pet were taken care of just as if I’d been here myself. She sent pics and videos frequently during our trip. Daisy was having so much fun, I was worried she might want to leave with Charity. They went on walks and nature hikes and played with acorns every morning. And lots of snuggles every evening. Charity organized our mail and packages. cleaned the house, washed the towels and bedding - basically left our home in the same condition we left it. I would highly recommend Charity for a sit and plan on having her stay at our home again in the near future.

Tammy was incredible with communication. She asked and took daily photos and texts of our pets while we were away. We came home to an immaculately cleaned home (I can't even clean it to the level we came home to!!!) Tammy had dinner ready for us when we arrived home. The night we got home my dogs were calm and confused where to sleep, hence I KNEW they loved her being with them. I cannot recommend her enough! We were truly blessed to have her care for our dogs, chickens and home.

Kristine is amazing! She has a ton of experience with large dogs and I felt so comfortable leaving our dogs in her care.. I can't believe we got so lucky to have her spend time with our pups. She made sure our dogs stuck to their normal schedule and went above and beyond, working with them on their training and leash skills. We came back from our trip to dogs that were happy and better behaved and to a house that was cleaner than we left. She was very communicative the whole time and took some beautiful pictures of the dogs. I would have her back in a heartbeat!

My dog had a medical emergency while in John’s care and I credit him with saving my pup’s life. You couldn’t ask for a better sitter in a pressure situation. He also communicated regularly during the stay, keeping me posted on how my pup was doing. Would recommend John to anyone who needs a sitter they can trust.

Eliza was my first sitter after signing up on zeewoi. I’m Soooo happy to have had her in my home watching over my dogs. David and Elynn were fabulous pet sitters and house sitters. Our dog and rabbit were well-taken care of, the house was left even cleaner than when they arrived! I would highly recommend David and Elynn, and would happily have them again! David and Elynn took excellent care of our dog Cosmo and our rabbit Oreo. They made sure they were happy, well-fed, and got exercise and fresh air! We were very happy to receive several photos of our furry friends while we were away. They took amazing care of the house and yard, and were very open with communication. If they were uncertain of anything or had a question, they were very open about reaching out! David and Ellyn were wonderful houseguests, who left the house even cleaner than they found it! I would highly recommend David and Elynn and their two adorable children. Kelly was an excellent sitter for us. She communicated well, before the sit and during the sit. When we got home, the dogs and our guinea pig were happy and well. Cleo is a very lucky puppy dog to have been cared for by Matt & Lisa! We’ve had quite a few sitters over the last 2 years with TH, and I have no reservations saying that they were the best! First, communication was fabulous from the start. They put me at ease before they ever got here. Throughout the sit, there were regular updates and pictures. They were so very attentive to Cleo, and even ventured out with her on trail walks (Cleo’s favorite thing in the world). They handled her medications with no problem. It was obvious that my nervous pup was at ease and loved them, as she ended up sleeping with them! I’d have Matt & Lisa again in a heartbeat, and would recommend to anybody!

They took very good care of my pets which involved feeding cats twice daily, fish once or twice a day and filling up fountain for birds. Animals were healthy and happy when I returned. Nothing was lost or broken, and Diane even found a lost grinder part that had fallen into the cats food while I was using it. They are a pleasant couple. They were invited from Wednesday to Sunday. They arrived on Monday so had 3 days instead of one to learn the pets routine. They also informed me that they wouldn't be leaving until Monday morning, but that worked out well since I was mistaken about the end date of my cruise and couldn't get home until Monday. Everything was left neat, but I had minor housekeeping to do (clean sink, fingerprints off glass table, sweep floor). They are older than stated on the profile, which they said only allows 65 as a top age. 68 and 73. Bruce has health problems that requires he sleeps sitting up in a chair that has a leg lift, which luckily I had, so he slept in my living room. They are fine caring for cats, but my friend with a dog decided to find another sitter rather than leave him with them (she was going to pay) because they seem somewhat frail.

To this list of attributes I would add flexible, capable, sensitive, extremely good with the dogs even if one of mine is sometimes a little ornery, and just a wonderful person all around. Because of constantly changing circumstances due to a move and coronavirus, my dogs ended up spending not two weeks but a whole month with John and they were so comfortable and happy. John helped them in so many ways and coordinated shipping them overseas, he went above and beyond the wildest stretches of what a house sitter entails and did it with a smile and a laugh and reassurances that all would be well. And indeed he was absolutely right - the dogs arrived so well cared for that all my fears of them being traumatized went out the window. John’s flexibility, and his kindness as well as his impeccable maintenance of my house in my absence all make me recommend him an absolute 10 out of 10. Thank you John for all your help this summer!! Liz did an amazing job babysitting our home and our pets (3 cats and a dog). Communication with Liz was easy and we felt at ease knowing that everything was being taken care of. Liz took our dog Summer for daily walks and kept her entertained. We got regular photos of our pets which were great. She even looked after and watered many of our outdoor and indoor plants! She was very tidy and our home was left spotless. If you are looking for a sitter we can't recommend Liz highly enough!

As always nothing but the best treatment . We've been using them for a few years maybe once or twice a year and our great Danes seem to enjoy and have a wonderful time. Very clean , plenty of space for the doggies to play and I cant say enough great things about Jenny. Patience of a Saint, nicest personality, clearly actually does it for the love of the animals.

Lauren is reliable, dependable and passionate about providing the best care for the animals she takes care of. We hired Lauren to dog/house sit for our two newfoundlands, 9 and 4 years old, and two senior cats. She kept us updated on how they were doing throughout our trip. We have boarded our dogs before and they have returned home stressed and exhausted. When we arrived home, we noticed they were both relaxed and comfortable thanks to Lauren caring for them in our home. She also took excellent care of our home. We highly recommend Lauren and we will use her again for our dog/house sitting needs.

Thomas did an amazing job taking care of our 2 dogs in our home. Prior to our vacation Lauren and Thomas came to our home for a meet and greet. Lauren and Thomas watched our 7 month old puppy for a week. They were very attentive to her schedule and we got a picture and text everyday. Lauren was very organized with sending paperwork to fill out prior to watching her to maintain her schedule. Pricing was excellent. Would definitely recommend and use again!
It is very evident Lauren has a heart for all pets and is skilled at caring for them. She has always been so good at gently approaching our dog and redirecting her when she has behaviors (as she is still a puppy). Lauren has recommended ideas to me for training as well, and our dog has responded well to them. Her pricing is also reasonable. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to ensure their pet is safe and treated with respect— and lots of love!
What a find Lauren is! We had been searching for someone to stay with our nine year old dog while we are on vacations. Lauren was excellent. Shelby was comfortable with her from the first meeting. She was calm when we got home nine days later and didn't seem to have missed us at all.

The staff there are always so happy to see her and sometimes give me a review of how she did and what friends she had made that day. The only thing I could maybe critique is the cameras to check on the pups aren't great quality but now that she's so happy to go every few days, I trust these beautiful humans to take care of my baby girl. We have been taking our border collie puppy Dexter here for a few months now for daycare. They always take great care of him! He gets so excited when we pull up, and is always tired coming home. The staff there are friendly- we especially love Izzy, they always gives us nice little updates on how his day went! It's really nice that they have cameras as well, where we can check on Dexter throughout the day. The last few months he has grown a lot, turning into a nice young adult dog and we have them to thank for helping with that!
Absolutely Love and Highly recommend The Furlough Dog Daycare. I have two large dogs a Husky and a German Shepard which are difficult to find overnight stays or grooming, not for The Furlough, they are amazing. I use them for a dog play day, to let them mingle with other dogs in an amazing and safe environment or more recently a few nights vacations for the family I was able to board my dogs. My dogs love this place. Grooming is great too!! Thank you Furlough!!!
After having a few bad experiences at another facility with Titan, a previous dog I owned, I decided to groom him myself. I currently have 2 Keeshond dogs, Maive and Maverick. There is NO way I could groom them! I have only ever gotten them groomed here, and don’t plan on going anywhere else! Why would I? They ask me what I want for them. They follow through with the directions I give. They do it with a smile on their face. The best part is they do a beautiful job!
I have gotten my dogs groomed there and I have bored them there. I love this place they live on my dogs and take great care of them. I won't go anywhere else!!

I read all the reviews and a family friend recommended this place to me. I needed a place for my dog to be boarded for Thanksgiving week. This place is so nice and friendly. The staff members really care for your fur baby while you are away. There are nice dogs everywhere. My little husky-mix, Plum made lots of friends both human and canine while she stayed there. Miss Plum was so happy so she and I will definitely return to the Furlough for sure.
