Looking forward to caring for your home and pets
Gary and Carol were great, very friendly , enjoyed them staying a couple extra days with us! Did a great job of taking care of pets!

Full time traveling couple wanting to hang out with your cool pets!
Shauna and Craig kept in touch every day with pictures of kitties and how they were doing even though no expectation was set for an update, so they did that of their own accord. They were easy to communicate with and very friendly. House was immaculate when we returned and one of our kitties sheds a lot. They even left us a little gift. We would love to have them return again!

Responsible house sitter that will care for your home/pets as if they were mine.
I would highly recommend Tracey. She is kind, caring and easy to work with. This is the second time Tracey has come to stay with Boz. Like before, she was responsible, dependable, clean, self sufficient, and Boz was a happy girl when I got home. The garden was also well taken care of. Thanks so much Tracey. You are welcome back anytime!

Animals are such agreeable friends. They ask no questions & pass no criticism.
Dawn and Greg were the perfect sitters from the start. We had a great FaceTime with them since they were coming from a different time zone, which immediately put us at ease! We ran into a bit of an issue night one (our fault) and they were flexible, adaptable and SO gracious! Dawn was great about communicating with us, sending pictures and keeping us apprised of how our kitties were doing. We would gladly have Dawn and Greg again.

Retired educators will provide ownership care
Chris and Barb were great pet and house sitters! Our dog Arthur was sad to see them leave and us arrive! They left our home even cleaner and tidier than when we left, and we appreciate all they did to look after Arthur.

Retired Trial Attorney-Trustworthy, Compassionate, Friendly, Caring and Tidy!
We were lucky enough to have Dede sit our house and yellow lab for a little more than two weeks. She treated our house as if it were her own and did an outstanding job looking after our three year old yellow lab, providing the requisite exercise for her, as well as the love and attention she so craves. Our home was spotless upon our return with everything in order and although our pup was happy to see us, she may have been a little sad to see Dede go. We would reccomend Dede, with our highest praise, to anyone who is seeking a responsible, caring, communicative and considerate sitter, you will not be disappointed!

Responsible, considerate, and well-traveled couple seeking short and long stays
Lauren and Jeremy were wonderful house sitters. I would ask them back or recommend them without hesitation. They communicated clearly, and took wonderful care my pets, house and garden. They left the place cleaner than it started and generously offered to help in ways that I hadn't asked but that were very kind and thoughtful. I felt very comfortable with my animals and home in their care.

I'm a quiet, clean, responsible nurse (and animal lover).
(The English version follow) Tout était parfait avec Elise! --------------------------------------- Everything was perfect with Elise! As soon as she entered the house, I felt her interest and gentleness towards Anna and Boris. She was very attentive to my expectations and asked good questions to make sure she understood how the house worked. I would have liked to receive more news from Anne and Boris during my absence. I will make sure that this aspect is clearer during my next house-sitting. The house was super clean... beyond my expectations! Elise even left me fresh strawberries and chocolate for my return. What a sweet thought! For all these reasons, I highly recommend Elise!

Teacher/petsitter dreaming of making petsitting and traveling a reality!
When we select a sitter, we read every review in addition to conducting some sort of video interview. We really rely upon the experiences of past hosts, so that’s why I believe it important to be honest in this review. I love giving out 5 star reviews and do quite frequently, but I also need to share any less-than-positive experiences as well for those hosts who rely upon reviews such as we do. As such, I’m a bit ambivalent about writing this review of Katie, as there were some really good things Katie did while here. She is a lovely, energetic woman who responded immediately to the concerns I voiced to her during the time she watched our pets; however, the “negatives” we experienced speak to the heart of the importance of having a dedicated pet sitter. For the most part, our home was left tidy and neat – which is no small feat as ours is a large house and I appreciate the care Katie took in ensuring we walked into a clean home. That said, Katie failed to notice my dogs had urinated in both of their dog beds and on the floor of our downstairs office, which we believed happened in the first part of the sit and resulted in the downstairs smelling of stale urine. Further, because she didn’t notice the urine, my pets, when downstairs, had to either sleep on the bare floor or in wet beds, neither of which is a satisfactory option. Also, my dogs don’t generally urinate in the house as they have access to a doggie door, and this seemed more a sign of their distress or discomfort. I believe this incident was part of a larger problem I experienced with Katie and that was in the manner in which she approached this sit. I advertised dates of July 6 – July 22. We generally ask our sitters to come in a day or two early as to walk them through the schedule for both our animals and our many plants, as well as to give them time to get to know the animals and experience a little of the town we live in. We also provide a very detailed introduction and welcome guide which outlines our expectations. Katie came in late in the day on the 7th, without personal transportation, which necessitated us picking her up and then my neighbor taking her to a rental cart company the next day because we left very early on the morning of the 8th. This abbreviated introductory time didn’t allow us to fully prepare Katie for the sit and allowed for some apparent “misunderstandings.” The “issue” for me was for the first five days of our 13-day trip, Katie was away from the house for up to 13 hours at a time – leaving our two, older rescue dogs, who have some separation anxiety - alone and with an extended time between meals. It was clear Katie was using this opportunity to visit many of the beautiful areas which surround where we live – hence using our home as more of an Airbnb to vacation – than a house sit dedicated to caring for our animals. Our dogs are fine with being alone for up to six hours but even that, for multiple days in a row, is, frankly, distressing to our animals and to us, as owners. To Katie’s credit, when I called and brought her daily, extended time away to her attention and reiterated my wishes the dogs not be left for more than 6 hours, she changed her schedule and while still gone every day, capped her time away at six hours. And, as I said, she is cheerful and responsive; hence, the ambivalence is positing my concerns with this sit. I think if Katie is provided with very clear expectations prior to the sit and understands exactly what is needed and expected, she will absolutely deliver. For whatever reason, from the start, this sit was rushed, there appeared to be too many misunderstandings, and it ended up being frustrating for us in ways other sits have not been.
Kelly was an excellent sitter for us. She communicated well, before the sit and during the sit. When we got home, the dogs and our guinea pig were happy and well. Kelly was dependable and showed up exactly on time. The house was well maintained and clean when we arrived home. We would definitely host Kelly again.
Joe and Casey were very easy going and reliable. We organised the sit way in advance with a video chat and we had adequate communication leading up to the sit. We handed over the house and animals after a fairly swift explanation of everything. Being experienced sitters Joe and Casey didn't need us to over explain anything (hopefully they felt the same) and we could see very quickly that they were animal lovers. They asked us how much communication we needed whilst away and we said "no news is good news". So we received just the right amount of updates along with the most adorable photos and reassuring words about all the animals. It was clear that they quickly understood the character of each of the animals. We forgot to mention that Tipper likes to dig dirt beds around the garden which creates quite a mess and it was obvious that these were kept under control. The garden and pool were well cared for. We enjoyed a relaxing couple of weeks away knowing that the animals were being loved and the dogs definitely looked for Joe and Casey when we arrived home. Our pets, home and garden were well respected and cared for and we would not hesitate to invite Joe and Casey to sit for us again.
Sharon was an excellent sitter who I knew was taking great care of my two dogs while away. She walked them, was a clean guest, and sent regular pictures and updates. I’d recommend her to anyone.
We’re so grateful for the love and care Vanessa gave our two dogs while we were traveling for a weekend. During our trip, she sent us pictures and our dogs always looked happy and at ease. Even during a thunderstorm she cared for our scared older dog who unfortunately had a little accident, and she cleaned up with no complaint. We didn’t have to worry at all which let us truly enjoy our weekend away knowing our dogs were in the best hands! Vanessa was clean and tidy. We returned home to a neat house and happy pups! She even did the laundry without us asking. We would highly recommend Vanessa as a sitter for anyone. Thank you so much!!
Evan and Maria were fabulous. They are experienced sitters and it shows in their independence. They sent regular updates, but not too regular and were totally self sufficient. Most importantly both the house and dog were perfect when we returned home.
Liz was a fantastic sitter for our boys and took great care of our home. She was a great communicator and kept us informed of what was happening and how our dogs were doing. She also kept our home clean and tidy. We would be grateful to have Liz sit for us anytime!
We initially accepted Deirdre and Jason for a long stay to look after our dogs. We were very happy they accepted. A few weeks later we realized we needed another sitter for another trip we had planned. So, we posted more dates on zeewoi. To our happy surprise, Deirdre and Jason reached out to us saying they could also look after our dogs and home with the new dates we posted. This made our life much easier and we were very confident to have Deirdre and Jason stay longer with us and care for our dogs. We were definitely right!! D&J have countless experiences on zeewoi with very good reviews from all of their previous sits. They are very experienced with all aspects of a house/pet sitting. D&J are very self-sufficient, have the background knowledge and education of pet care, and most importantly a genuine love for all animals. This is most important for my wife and I. We knew from the first meeting with our pups they loved animals. Communication was excellent. The process before and during our sit was stress-free for us. We were given daily updates on our dogs including photos and videos. Any concerns D&J had were vocalized to us. D&J are also problem solvers and know how to react many challenging situations. Our routine for our pets was followed immaculately and all dogs were very happy and connected with them. Even our female dog Kinki grew close so quickly with D&J which is very rare. We had ZERO issues while we were gone and we were able to really enjoy our trip while we were away. The dogs definitely love being around D&J. Homecare: We are very pleased with the condition of our home when we returned. It was clean, free of clutter, and exactly how we had left it for them, if not even better! D&J even mowed our grass and took care of our yard! Our yard is not a small garden. It is very big and takes hours to mow. So we were very surprised and excited to know they did that for us even though it's not expected of our sitters!! They definitely went above and beyond what is expected. Our dogs are so very important to us. When we know we can trust our sitters it's the best feeling in the world. We definitely trust Deirdre and Jason with our most prized possessions and we look forward to the next sit with them in a few days!!! We can't thank them enough for giving our dogs the love and attention they deserve. We highly recommend Deirdre and Jason for your future sittings and you can always feel free to contact Izabela and I about D&J for additional verification from us. They are fantastic! Thanks so much Deirdre and Jason! -Allen and Izabela
Truly The Best House sitters Ever!!! Shannon, Travis and their son were absolutely terrific. I’m so lucky to have had the genuine pleasure of meeting them. Very warm, generous, open and loving people. My dog Wolfie usually barks at men who come in the house and I was a little worried about how he would be with Travis, but I had nothing to fear because within seriously 1 minute from Travis walking in the door, Wolfie was giving him kisses on the lips! I was so happy to receive their updates and photos and videos of my pets while I was away. They really went above and beyond taking terrific care of my many, many furry and feathered friends. When I got home, the place was sparkling clean, all linens laundered and beds made and they even left me sweet little surprises. I would welcome The Exums back with open arms anytime and highly recommend them.
Christina is the best house and pet sitter that we have ever had. She leaves the house immaculate. She is independent, reliable, and totally professional. Communication is excellent. In terms of pet care, Christina is special. I think that she is a dog whisperer. Bridie, our crazy Wheaten, adores her and is sad when she leaves.
Jim sat for my extremely shy rescue pup and new kitten for two weeks -- my pup struggles with new people, and is very fearful of men in particular. And yet, Jim was more successful with her than any sitter I've ever had: I can't recommend him highly enough. He has wonderful patience, a calm energy, and is a great communicator. He consistently updated me with photos and videos of my sweet girls enjoying the world with him, taking my dog on hikes and adventures to her favorite streams. He went above and beyond both for her (in meeting her needs and taking the time to get to know her personality), and also in caring for my home. I returned to such a cozy environment, a repaired wood stove, an organized wood pile and an at-peace dog and cat. Choosing Jim as a sitter is ensuring that your pets and home are getting the best of care, and his actions exemplify his kindness, generosity and thought taken in consideration of others. I hope to have him return many times in the future; the experience was a privilege both for myself and my pets.

My Yorkie Koko is 8. He has been a customer, loved , by the staff since he was 6 months old. They have taken the best care of him! You can trust your baby to them.
I have been taking my little guy here since he was a young puppy. He is always clean, happy, and nicely trimmed when I pick him up. He seems to be very comfortable here, walking around and interacting with the other dogs. I am away right now, so we went to another groomer. She was very complimentary of how well D by D had “table trained” him. The service is also great. I highly recommend D by D!
Our first time experience! My dogs groomer of many years past away and we have been going through many groomers that did not do a good job and my little guy hated them. He felt right at home with the ladies here. We will definitely be going back
My guys first time and these ladies did amazing!!
Great service, I called the day before wanting to get my dog groomed knowing it was short notice, they weren't able to do a full groom, but squeezed him in to give him a badly needed bath and nail trim! He's been groomed there before and they do a great job! Love these gals. Reasonable rates, and pleasant service along with a job well done.
I took my dog in to Dogs by Design and gave specific instructions on how I wanted her to be groomed and how not to be groomed. When I came to pick her up, the groom was nothing like I asked to be done. She was shaved to the skin in some areas and cut shorter than asked. I called back the next day to say I was disappointed in the groom and was told “she thought she did a good job”. They offered 50% off the next groom, but I will not be returning for a future service.
The people here are amazing! Melissa always does a great job and so does Camy! Very friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend bringing your fur babies here. Good prices as well.
I have been taking my pups here since they opened and never had a complaint. They always do their best work at making my pups look so handsome! I appreciate how many times they have squeezed me in last minute :)
They were great with our puppy. Very kind people and they did exactly what we asked as far as his cut and at a reasonable price!!
We love Dogs by Design. They are extremely competent and professional. Our dogs look great and love going for grooming. We are lucky to have such a great service in Douglas!
Camp Saugapup is beyond our every hope for our dog. Diane and her team are naturally and deeply "dog-people". They love all dogs as much as we love ours. And it shows very genuinely. The setting is an amazing expanse of dog-park type space with mature trees, a sand pit, and a large temperature-controlled, furnished dog living room. Cleo comes home bathed and clean as well as happy and appropriately tired after a day of play and rest. Can't imagine a better situation for our dog. Six stars out of five.
Camp Saugapup has a professional and caring staff. I am impressed by the consistent adherence to routines, procedures, and attention to detail - all in the interest of dog safety. There is a huge, clean area for dogs to run, and a cozy indoor area with a sofa and places to rest. The knowledgable and thoughtful design of Camp Saugapup supports dogs and play and minimizes the potential for problems. We are newcomer campers (I have three dogs), but I am absolutely impressed. I never give a second thought or concern for the dogs' safety, welfare, or whether they are having fun. They ARE and they will be happily tired and sleep the rest of the day! Heaven! I would highly recommend Camp Saugapup!
Camp Saugapup is the best! Diane and her crew of canines are very welcoming. Besides Diane’s huge heart and love for dogs, the place is beyond amazing- the Four Seasons of pet care. She has cared for our child beast Harvey on numerous occasions. I’d highly recommend Camp Saugapup to anyone!!!
Everything about Camp Saugapup is genuinely amazing. Dog safety is number 1 priority. Dog fun is number 2. The care your dog receives while they're away at camp for the day will no doubt meet or exceed your expectations, they become part of the Camp Saugapup family. The owner of Camp Saugapup is unbelievably dog savvy and cares about all dogs and insuring they have great doggie adventures in a doggie safe environment. Send your dog to camp! You won't regret it, and I know they'll love it.
My dog Jace loves Camp Saugapup! The space is amazing there, and I have no doubt the the owner, Diane has my dogs best interest at heart! Between the sand digging pit and the pool, and the acreage of land for him to run and play.... so much fun for him and I don't feel bad that he's just sitting at home! I would recommend Camp Saugapup to everyone!!!
One-of-a-kind dog daycare where the pups play safely free in a large, beautiful park-like setting (under supervision) yet importantly get down time to rest as well. They treat like family and bonus star for dogs sent home clean!
It was good until it was bad. My dog was acting out and I didn’t know. Zero communication or partnership. It came up when they decided to be closed on all Fridays for the summer with only 3 days notice! (Often don’t have staff and will close “for safety”, but just don’t count on them to be open 100% of when they say they will.) Seem to be friendly but don’t share the dog’s experience. When I began to ask questions, they had several issues about my dog that I had never experienced with her. When I challenged their approach they said I could get my money back. Then at a high point in the conversation they said they would “love” to have her stay, but when I replied I wanted a day to think about it, they got personal to me and said I was misinformed (how can I be when they don’t tell me anything?) and basically kicked us out. May be a positive experience for some dogs but would NOT recommend for a working breed or demanding younger dog.
Great staff, and a very happy place for Nutmeg, a new "client" I pet sit for. The staff is great with both young and senior dogs, giving them the personal attention they need for their age range.
Phenomenal day care experience for our pup. He came back happy, washed and tired from a full day of playing with other dogs. Diane, and her staff, are great to work with.
The best place in the area to take your dog. Staff is excellent and my dog sam loves it!!
My dogs are like my babies and Dog's Bay is the only place I trust caring for them when I can't take them on vacation with me. I boarded my Rat Terriers Emma & Mr. Darcy there when they were alive, and today I just picked up my precious Pomsky Ripley. If you want dog people who love spoiling dogs to watch over your fur baby I highly recommend Dog's Bay. The staff is amazing! They listen, they're thorough, they're knowledgeable, and they genuinely care about your dog. On their Facebook page they post pics of the dogs in their care on a daily basis so you can constantly check up on how your dog is doing. Let's face it, as a dog person you know by your baby's body language how they're feeling about a place or person. This time I could tell Ripley was having fun, just like my Ratties used to. The peace of mind is priceless! Ripley and I give them a 10 out of 10.
I took my two dogs here for the first time when we went on vacation this month and they were very tired when we picked them up! They kept could track of everything, including how much they were eating, and their behavior during play. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and we will be returning customers.
I LOVE this place! They have transformed my incorrigible 11 month old puppy! Pretty proud of her graduating "Pup Cub" school! Can't wait to start "Pup Scout" school. They are caring, kind, considerate and the list goes on!!
This was our first time boarding our dog & he loved it! They took a lot of care when acclimating new dogs to the group play and making sure the overall experience was great for our dog and us. Would definitely board here again.
We were beyond pleased with our experience and the wonderful staff at Dog’s Bay. Miss Penny loved all of the belly rubs, her warm bed, and play time with her new friends. They were flexible and let her stay overnight when we couldn’t make it in time for pickup, sent us updates each time we asked for one, and even sent us home with a goodie bag! Thank you for taking such good care of our fur-kid! We will definitely be back!
I brought 2 of my dogs here for grooming and was so happy with the results! Poppy and Georgia look so much better. They came together and it only took just under 3 hours for both of them. Abby, their groomer was so sweet and caring with my Husky girls. They were long overdue for grooming and were probably 5 pounds lighter when we left.
We have boarded our dogs here a few times now and it's been a great experience. The staff is friendly and organized, and our dogs are excited to play when we pull up to the facility. We trust them with our girls when we leave town and know they will be well taken care of.
We always board our dog, Archie, here when we go on vacation. They take such good care of our baby and really treat him like a member of the family. We always feel good knowing that he’s going to get to play with his doggy friends and not be stuck in a crate all day long. Big thanks to the Dog’s Bay team for their hard work, time and care.
We love this place. They love on and take great care of our dogs
I have been taking my dogs to Dogs Bay for over 15 years to board, and 2-3 times a week for doggie daycare. I trust them completely with the happiness and safety of my fur kids. The play areas are both indoor and out, and when out, they are not on artificial grass or concrete. They are out in nature, playing in sand boxes, taking nature walks, having pool parties in the summer. My dogs are beyond excited to pull down that drive. Owner Deb goes over and beyond to make sure her customers are happy and satisfied. The employees are all so pleasant, and their love for the dogs there shines through - many of them have been there for years and I consider them friends. Thank you, Deb and team, for providing happiness for my fur kids and peace of mind for me!
