Cooper has stayed at Little Paws for a number of times and is always very happy to go. Angie and Pete are a really lovely couple and ensure Cooper is spoilt during his holiday. They treat him as their own. We receive many photo’s during his stay which is really appreciated. We would have no hesitation in recommending Little Paws whether for a day or a week.

It was Bertie’s first time with Angie and Pete! After looking around before hand and meeting you both. We was so happy and comfortable to leave Bertie in your capable hands! He had the best week with you all.. You could see in the photos that you’d sent, just how well looked after and happy he was!! I don’t think he wanted to leave you 🥰 we have found someone we trust with our dog and someone we know really genuinely cares about him too! Thank you so much for putting us at ease whilst we was away and looking after our Bertie so amazingly xxxx

Teddy absolutely loves going to Angie’s. He has been going as a daycare and a boarder for quite a few years now and is totally spoilt by Angie, Peter and Ollie. He has the run of their beautiful house and totally makes himself at home. I never have any worries when I leave him to go on holiday and Angie sends me regular photos and updates. It’s like he’s having a little holiday of his own. He loves playing with Angie’s dogs so he gets plenty of socialising. I have no hesitation in recommending Little Paws Retreat.

Our Bonnie LOVES going to Angela’s and is always made so welcome. It’s definitely a home from home experience for her, she gets constant cuddles and attention. She’s always so content when we pick her up & we never have any worries whilst we’re away. So pleased we found you! Bonnie can’t wait to stay again next year. :-)

Our mini Daschund has had trouble settling in with other dog sitters, but not here. She was right at home from the off. Little Paws gave such great care and regular updates on how she was getting on. Will definitely use again

Angela has looked after poppy many times in the past. Her home is real doggy paradise. Poppy has always been well cared for and is treated like one of their own.

So spoiled were our two dogs that they actually sulked when we finally got them home again! They were beautifully looked after and loved and I would not hesitate to use Little Paws again.

I can not recommend this facility highly enough my dog louie has been quite a few times, he is always so happy when he arrives there and is so well looked after and spoilt I have no qualms leaving him there at all .

Our Buddy had a wonderful time at Country Canines both during his trial day visit and two night stay. He was so excited when we arrived for his second visit and couldn't wait to get out of the car. Kate was lovely with him and he clearly felt safe and happy in her home. I collected a very happy boy on both visits.

I just wanted to compliment you on your excellent daycare. Ernie was EXHAUSTED Saturday night and still today has spent much of the day in deep sleep. I’m sure running around your beautiful property and his long walk contributed to this! Thank you so much for providing such a stimulating, wonderful environment for Ernie.

What a wonderful place for your beloved dog to go & stay, she was extremely well looked after & in a beautiful setting & with lovely home comforts, highly recommend it.

My dog is so happy here. The dogs day is spent playing together with the other dogs and being played with and looked after by the staff. It is excellent environment for dogs and puppies. My dog has been coming a day a week since they were a tiny pup. It taught them to mix well with other dogs. It has helped my dog be the social, happy friendly dog he is now. He is always eager to go and exhausted when he gets back from all that play. Even though this is a doggy hotel and daycare, not a kennel, it is such amazing value. The staff are amazing, and you can really tell they love the dogs, and I trust them. Thank you so much.

My boys absolutely love going to Rachel's doggy lodge! They've been going there pretty much since they were a year old and still get so excited every time we drop them off. Rachel and the team are the only people I trust to look after the boys when we go away and I cannot thank them enough for always going above and beyond for us. I honestly wouldn't take the boys anywhere else

Gracie loves coming here. She bounds in without a backward look and comes home exhausted after spending all day playing with her doggy friends. She has also boarded at times which has got us out of a fix! The lovely staff are always super helpful.

The beagles love it! Every time they come home they spend three days sleeping :D The biggest difference between the doggy lodge and a typical boarding is the noise. When you drive up to a typical boarding you can hear dogs barking non stop from a mile away. That’s not to say the dogs at doggy lodge don’t bark but the difference is clearly they play with other dogs, run around and do dog stuff. They seem a lot more relaxed and more like a playing field or a mini holiday rather than just boarding. All of the guys are great as well very considerate of different needs of the animals. Overall it’s always been great here the beagles love it couldn’t be happier.

Rocket has been using occasional day care and going on his holidays at Rachel's Doggy Lodge for 4 years now. He's a velcro dog who can be a bit nervous around other dogs but I never have to worry about him when he's there. Everyone takes great care of all the dogs and socialising has done him the world of good. Couldn't rate the team more highly.

We have been taking our dog Dave to Rachel’s doggy lodge for 7 years. Dave loves going for a full fun packed day. All of the team look after the dogs as if they are their own. We also use the boarding too when we are away & we know Dave is well looked after and has his perfect holiday! If you are looking for daycare or boarding Rachel’s doggy lodge has it all. Having an 8 year old Velcro Cockerpoo who has never been left with anyone other than family I was definitely worried about where I could leave her for our holiday this year now that circumstances had changed. Well I needn’t have worried! Rachel and her team worked hard with our precious Ruby introducing and reassuring her in her trials before we left. Rachel reviewed and monitored Ruby and didn’t think she would be very confident staying overnight at the lodge so instead took her back to her own home every night where Ruby evicted Rachel’s own dogs to the floor and slept in Rachel’s bed instead! When you find someone who loves your dog as much as you do you know you have found the right place. Couldn’t recommend this place more absolutely amazing!

Our lab has regularly been going to Rachel's Doggy Lodge for the day and as a boarder since she was a puppy and we wouldn't send her anywhere else. She is always so excited to see her doggy and human friends, instantly standing up and wagging her tail as we turn down the familiar road. Rachel and her team take good care of the dogs in their charge and have helped us out of some sticky situations when public transport has stopped us getting home after time away. Thank you to all the team for looking after our pup so well!

My dog loves this place - he treats it like his second home! The staff are truly wonderful and go above n beyond to make his stay comfortable and enjoyable. We look forward to seeing you all next year. X

My partner enquired regarding boarding our dog. He was polite to start then when he found out we have a bull breed dog he became extremely rude. Shocking considering he promotes as a dog trainer. Fair enough if you don't board certain breed and choose to discriminate but at least be professional about it.

The staff here are just amazing. Always helpful, always professional. Been looking after my dog for years now and she loves it here. Absolutely love taking our dog to High Barn Hall Kennels, Andy the owner is A1 when it comes to putting you at ease on your very first visit. All of the girls are fantastic too and you can see that everyone is happy to be there and seeing the dogs going in and out for walks with their tails wagging all the time just puts you at ease. Our boy always comes back well exercised and happy. Best kennels we have ever used and we travel quite a way to have our boy with a kennels we trust 100%.

Our rescue dog has been going on holiday here for a few years now. He loves it excited when he gets there. Plenty of walks socially this kennals is great for our dog too. Medication is not a problem either.

I have taken my lab Zeus here twice, once for day care and once overnight. He loved it! It was recommended to me and I will always use these kennels now.

I use these kennels every year for my chocolate lab, she absolutely loves it here and doesn’t want to come home, staff are always so friendly and helpful. It’s always reassuring to know my dogs is well looked after while we are away

I want to thank Paul and Sam for the great care they have shown both of our dogs . To be able to drop your dogs and know they come back so happy is amazing , especially as I have been unwell and this day without the dogs was a good break , my dogs are my world so I really appreciate how Paul and Sam treat our dogs like they are their own . I can highly recommend this Cattery I have been taking my cat here for a while now and my cat is always so happy to stay here. I usually see Paul who is always so friendly and helpful and you can see he has a great love for cats. My cat stays here’s a few times a year and I feel she is safe and looked after very well. ⭐️

Just wanted to say hello from your boy Bully here in Thailand....he's doing great and has adjusted well. I wanted to tell the world about how you made my emigration so easy and catered to my changing plans like true professionals. I left Bully with you for 6 weeks whilst I arranged my moving and found accommodation etc and I had no worries about my prize possession 'Bully' infact I truly believe he saw paws n claws as a holiday himself. Once again a huge thanks to Sam and Paul for looking after our Malani ! They always give the dogs so much attention and love and our little girl loves her time there , they really are a lovely couple who always go the extra mile to make your pet settled and comfortable . Malani literally runs to them once we go in !!! We used to take our previous dog Ciro there also before he unfortunately had to be put to sleep due to a sudden health issue last year . We therefore had to cancel a block booking we had arranged but Sam and Paul were so kind and understanding . They really are a caring couple who will always make sure your pet is well looked after .

Our dog Nala has been going to Paws and Claws for over 3 years and absolutely loves her holidays with Sam and Paul. They always greet her with a smile and lots of cuddles. The level of love and care they put into the care of all their guests is what has always put us at ease and we are so grateful for them looking after Nala so well. They always answer emails quickly and try their best to fit us in when we have an emergency. Our highlight is always seeing their Facebook posts on updates of Nala when she’s visiting which we appreciate so much as I can imagine it takes a lot of time for them to collate and post. We wouldn’t trust anyone else with her as we are so picky. Thank you so much Sam and Paul! We’re lucky to have you guys.

I am so very disappointed to have to write this review of what I believed was a good cattery/kennels with genuinely nice people owning and running it. I booked my two cats in only 6 days ago for what would have been a week’s stay at the beginning of July (next week). My daughter was due to have a major surgery and I had to stay in the hospital with her, hence why I booked my cats in. I had booked the cattery at late notice as I was unable to get family to look after my cats. Her surgery got postponed last night due to her pre op blood work showing up a serious problem with her blood making it unsafe to go ahead with the surgery. I called and spoke to Paul at the cattery and explained I needed to cancel and the reason. I obviously knew that my deposit would be kept because that’s what a deposit is there for! He told me as it was less than 14 days notice I’d have to pay the full cost of what it would have been for the cats to stay! I explained that I couldn’t possibly have given 14 days notice as I only booked 6 days ago! He said he would only charge me for the one cat instead then!! I refused to pay as he already had my deposit and surely that was why I was charged a deposit! But, no he was very condescending and not empathetic at all with my situation. Very unprofessional way to deal with a person that was clearly upset due to the situation I am now facing with my daughter’s life threatening health. So be warned, these people are so overly nice when they are taking your booking and money but clearly have no moral compass.

All lovely until you have a problem. Taken on too many animals and cannot may attention to them all. One of our dogs had an accident and no medical attention was given and we have received various different stories of what happened. Can not trust these kennels

We have been using this excellent kennels since it opened.Both Sam and Paul are totally committed to the care of our much loved pets .They have always gone out of their way to ensure that our pets are treated individually.Late last year our beloved Saphy was with them whilst awaiting an MRI .She was on bed rest and Sam and Paul went out of their way to take good care of her .Due to being confined to her kennel Sam would sit with her every night .Our darling girl loved them and was always reluctant to leave .We cannot stress how fantastic they have been over the years and we're very supportive when we had to put Saphy to sleep 😭I have no hesitation in recommending this kennel.

Highly recommended. We left our 2 girls in the care of Paws and claws for almost 3 weeks and fully expected to come back to stressed out whiney doggies( this has been the case at previous kennels) and were so happily surprised at how stress free they were and how we could see from looking at them how well looked after they were. We also had great peace of mind from seeing the almost daily photos that are put on the site. These guys are genuine dog lovers.

Our dog has never stayed in a kennel. We always send him to a home from home sitter but we couldn't get him in with our lady so choose these kennels from a friend who recommended them. We really were worried but didn't need to be. He was walked into woods twice a day, off lead( our preference). He had a heater over his bed at night. Chloe who looks after the dogs sent us regular updates on Buddy. Short videos & pics which was really reassuring. Definitely recommend.

My little dog was smelly and her blanket only there for 1 night the food I supplied was not put in fridge and no one there so I could walk in and take any dog not locked and my dog in dirty kennel with no water

Denise looks after our girls (two cats) whenever we go away and she is fabulous, very trustworthy and completely reliable. I love the fact that she always sends me little updates and pictures when we are away and I know they aren’t just being fed, they are being cared for and loved in our absence. We often end up asking her at short notice because I’m always last minute confirming trips away to see family and she has never let me down. When we come home she always leaves us a little card with a note as well which is a lovely personal touch. In all the years I’ve been relying on her there has never been a price increase so it’s very good value for money and we go away with peace of mind that our girls are in safe and caring hands. She is absolutely made for this role - so caring with our pets and I can tell she gets a lot of pleasure out of looking after them. I highly recommend her services.

Denise provides such an amazing service, friendly, very accommodating even at short notice. Loves our pets like they were her own, daily updates every time with lovely photo’s . Would be truly lost without the service Denise provides. A++++ a genuinely professional, trustworthy lovely lady.

I can’t recommend Denise enough. Our Romanian rescue Rosie loves her and loves her walks with her doggy friends. Rosie now walks so well off the lead since going out with Denise. There is no one I trust more 😀

Without Denise I wouldn't have been able to rescue my greyhound, midweek breaks if I'm out at meetings and she goes to stay over when I'm holiday. I would highly recommend her to anyone... and I know Emma would too!

Used the kennels a few times now and have always had a good experience, Archie seems to enjoy his time and always comes back happy, if not a little tired. The staff are always helpful and often post pictures on their Facebook page, so you can keep up to date whilst away. All round good kennels and would recommend.

Our 2 dogs love staying here. We'll looked after and it's obviously that all that work there love the animals that stay and love their job there

We found Alpha a couple of years ago. We found them very accomodating. Our Greyhound is a bit shy and afraid of men, but Alan gets on well with her. When we took her to other kennels she used to refuse to get out of the car. But here she cant wait to get out and get into the field. They also offer a pick up and drop off service.. would recommend..thanks Alpha

Great boarding kennels, my dog Oscar loves it here. The other great thing about this kennels, is they post pictures and videos on Facebook, which is great because you get to keep up with how your dog is doing...

Both my dogs seem to enjoy their stay whenever I leave them there, and I have no hesitation in recommending these kennels. They are clean, spacious and warm, and are looked after by caring owners.
