Short review: sniff spot rental was great. 5/5 would recommend. Will be back again. Long review: this was my first time using sniff spot, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Google maps led us right to the place, and then the signs directed us to the entry gate. Once inside, there's plenty of room for dogs to run free. There's a few sticks around for throwing. Make sure you bring water for yourself and dogs. There is a walking trail on an adjacent property. It's outside the fenced area, but can be seen from inside. When closing the gate, make sure it's secured tight. Otherwise, small to medium dogs may be able to get out. Waste bags are provided near the parking lot, and also inside the fence. 2 chairs are provided inside the fence as well. Overall, it's great. Plenty of room to run. The fencing is plenty tall enough for most dogs. The area is clean. Plus, no pesticides are used. Would definitely recommend.

Sweet Paws is a very nice place for your pets daycare needs . The staff is very caring and they show lots of love for the animals that stay at their retreat . Norton was very anxious the first week of his two week stay and the staff contacted us regarding what they could do to make Norton feel more comfortable during his stay ! They kept in touch with us with how Norton was doing during his stay and sent a daily report card with pics! Great care and would highly recommend !

Nuela loves her time at Sweet Paws. She comes home happy & sleepy. She’ll never let us take Jae anywhere else. Everyone there loves their jobs & all the dogs & they post pics of their visitors ❤️

We absolutely love everyone at Sweet Paws! They greet us and our dog when we come in, and they have fun monthly activities for the pups! Our dog can get very anxious when she leaves home, but she doesn’t hesitate to go back with the staff when we drop her off. It’s so nice to know that our pet is in good hands whether it’s for the day in daycare or a week in boarding while we’re away!

Well, I… As the dog mom, thinks you guys are all amazing. My dog Ashley says you’re spectacular and she thinks that your place is supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. 🐶💕. When I go on my many many trips, I don’t ever have to worry about if she’s being taken care of… My dog and I both get severe separation anxiety, and that helps me so much knowing that everybody there at Sweet paws is truly amazing!

Just alright. There's better boarding options locally. The staff isn't very communicative or friendly, dogs do not get as much outside time. Dropped my dog off with her crate, which I confirmed could be in the room with her. It was not used at all in the 8 days she was there.

We needed to board our 2 cats for 9 days during a trip. They are on a special diet, so we didn’t have many options. We never boarded our cats before and knew that cats are very easily stressed. While we were away, I received several photos from Sweet Paws of our cats eating, exploring their play area, etc. our kids liked seeing the cats in the photos. When we got back a day earlier than expected, they were able to adjust the price to accommodate the missed day. When I brought the cats home, they needed no time to reacclimatize themselves, even though I insisted on separating them for the day. They were calm and back to normal immediately. I’m glad we chose Sweet Paws for our cats, and we will be using them again in the future when we travel.

It was our first time here for some Sniffspot’s time, and we had a blast! The place is big, secure, and quiet. We live in the city, so it's quite a ride, but we'll definitely be back! The owner was responsive and nice.

I haven't been here in a while due to my work schedule, but I'm excited to come back. The fence is tall enough and the area is will maintained. 10/10, you can tell that the owners care.

Sweet Paws is Murphy's happy place. The animal care staff are so attentive and caring. I am always eager to pick up Murphy to learn about some funny story they have to share about him. Murphy comes home so exhausted, happy and content after a full day at Sweet Paws.

My dog loves going to Zooomies day care. The staff is very nice and the facility is very clean. Brutus always comes home worn out so I know he had a good time. They also post pictures and videos so I can see how he spent his day.

I love Zooomies so much! They have a friendly staff who seem to truly love your pet, I love that you get daily pics & report cards that let you know how & what your pet is up to, and I love that the dogs are not kenneled all day like most daycares! They are out in the open with other pet friends playing & socializing. One of my dogs is not socialized and he gets one on one play time with a staff member several times a day and has a blast chasing balls. So thankful for a pet center that actually exercises your pet, it’s been hard to find a place like this outside of Naperville. Zooomies also has great prices which really makes a difference. Been using them for daycare & boarding and couldn’t be happier!

We had our first experience at Zooomies this summer when we boarded our very active, but anxious dog. He had a blast all day, and when his anxiety kicked in at night, the night staff bent over backwards to help him. They were so communicative, sending videos and photos, and responding to my questions within minutes. Awesome experience, only place still go from here on out…AND very affordable! Highly recommend!

I am new to the Yorkville area and my pup has been going to daycare since I have adopted him! I brought Henry in ( my pup) today and the staff took the time to know him before accepting him! I honestly could not be happier that I picked Zooomies! I feel completely confident that Henry will always be well taken care of by Lyn and her staff! I also love love love they have open play too!

My pup just had a good day at Zooomies! She is almost 8 months and pretty timid with other dogs but Lynn and her staff are so patient and kind, letting her take her time to adjust. The facility is immaculately clean and well appointed. My family has known Lynn for a while now and she helped us with our last dog that had major anxiety and other issues. She is a true animal lover and a passionate animal advocate. I trust Lynn, and by extension her staff, completely to care for our fur baby.

Our Henry boy absolutely loves going to Zoomies!! He now wants to get in the car because he thinks I’m taking him to daycare and will drag me inside as soon as we get there! They are very attentive and so good with the pups. Glad a found a place I can take Henry to and feel comfortable doing so!

Both my chihuahuas settled in and I believe they had a great time. One is reserved and observant, the other is a social cuddle bug and they both found their place. I felt confident that Lynn and team were caring for them. They were able to eat their normal food and the team worked to keep them on their schedule. I feel confident in returning both of my babies in the future. Thank you! Thank you!

Lynn is the most caring dog lover you will meet. Her dog care goes beyond the very nice set up at Zooomies. She and her staff treat each dog as if they were their own. Our dog loves her as well! He enjoys the facility as well as his many friends he makes while there.

We boarded our senior dog at Zooomies for the first time and I am beyond impressed with their care and attention to detail! Lynn and staff went above and beyond for our pup, who requires multiple accommodations as well as daily medication. Lynn spent over 30 minutes with me discussing the specialized care needed due to his age and illness. They stuck to his feeding schedule, administered his medication on time, and most importantly kept him calm, safe, and loved. We appreciated the daily "report card" sent via text and email, with details on his demeanor, health, activities for the day, and pictures! Zooomies does boarding right, providing a true home away from home. Thank you Lynn!!

The BEST doggy daycare! Our pup loves going here and is so eager to go play the minute we pull in the parking lot. We love thay they post pictures and videos of their day! They also offer so many enrichment and different activities for the dogs. We know our furbaby is in great hands and having the best time when he goes here!! The staff is amazing!

We finally found a great groomer who understands our dog’s needs. Pet Groomer Jess is really knowledgeable, attentive and has that talent that transformed our fur-baby to a show dog. She did a very fantastic grooming and she knows how to handle pets with care and love. She has a vision on how our dog should look his best. I highly recommend her for her 10 star service! If you want the best groomer in town please book her and you’ll never be disappointed.

NEVER TAKING MY DOODLE ANYWHERE ELSE! Jess did an AMAZING job grooming my labradoodle. You can tell how knowledgeable she is and how much she cares for the dogs she grooms. It was very affordable for everything you are getting with a full groom. She knows her stuff and was able to demat my furry guys tail without having to shave it! I was VERY impressed to say the least, any groomer I went to previously would’ve just shaved it. She was also able to grind his nails down perfectly, which other groomers always said he was too hard to use the nail grinder on. He came home smelling great AND looking amazing with his teddy bear cut. Needless to say TAKE YOUR DOGS TO HER! You will NOT be disappointed.

The dog groomer Jess is exceptional! She takes extra special care of our dog and treats her like one of her own. You will definitely be satisfied!!

My 3 spoiled dogs were scared to get left here but they are super excited to come back! I think they really have a good time. We got them baths last visit and they looked and smelled amazing! Staff is exceptional!

I drove 106 miles, one way, when I saw a recommendation on an Alaskan Malamute FB group that I follow. They had a challenging dog who Jess worked wonders with so I figured it was worth a try with our newly adopted Chow Chow. He was still a challenge (especially his nails and any work near his back end) But Jess got it done. It took two of us to hold him for his feet, but they had to be done. I had been to 2 groomers and 3 vets, all unwilling to put in the extra effort to get them trimmed. We found Jack behaved better with me distracting him, and Jess was fine with me standing there the whole time. Will make the trip again, for sure!

Jessica did an amazing job on our fur-baby after another well known, self-proclaimed “Top Groomer of the area” did a terrible job on our little guy. She was so awesome in understanding what we wanted and needed. She did great work and super quick compared to the old groomer. We found an awesome groomer and will be coming back for years to come. Great work, Jess!

I've never boarded my dogs there. However, Jess grooms our little special needs pomeranian, Gary. Jess does an amazing job taking care of our little guy. Jess and the girls absolutely spoil and adore Gary. We are very pleased with Jess.

We had a wonderful experience boarding our greyhound for twelve days. The staff was responsive to my email check ins and even waited for us a few minutes after closing so we could get there from O’Hare. Our boy was relaxed and settled right back in at home after our trip. This to us was evidence that he had a nice stay!

We have a MaltiPoo/Shih tzu that has been terrified to be groomed. We were turned away the last time we tried before we moved to Plano. The website gave me hope that we found a nice place to take Gracie, and the groomer asked that she not be tranquilized because she knew sometimes the dogs don't breathe easily while sedated. I was amazed and thrilled when we picked up our newly groomed Gracie! This is a lovely place for a little dog or cat to be! BEFORE AND AFTER!

We recently entrusted our two small dogs to The Pets' Home for a week-long stay, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment we dropped them off, we felt confident that they were in good hands. Our dogs returned home happy! It was clear they were well cared for and enjoyed their time at The Pets' Home. We were very impressed with the team's attentiveness and their genuine care.

my dog absolutely loves coming to the pet’s home for both daycare and boarding! the staff here is amazing! they update me constantly via report cards, texts, pictures, etc. when my dog stays overnight. everyone is incredibly kind and helpful. my dog always comes home really happy and tired (in a good way :))

Today was my first time at The Pets Home. Laura Mae was super friendly. She made me feel so comfortable and took me on a tour of The Pets Home. All the dogs looks so relaxed and at home. It was my 3 month old dog Simbas first time at a grooming service and he LOVED it. He came home super happy and smelling amazing! My puppy loved it so much he hid behind Laura Mae’s chair when we came to pick him up! Thank you so much for making me feel at ease as it’s my first puppy and you really have a great heart!

Our dogs have always loved going here. Laura Mae has been caring for our dogs for almost 20 years. She has loved them and has mourned the ones we lost. Our newest dog loves playing with friends at The Pets’ Home.

Boone had a blast! Our first experience went off without a hitch! He didn’t want to come home :) The Pets home is clean , welcoming, inviting, and accommodating! I loved the personal touch of a report card and photos!

Our 3yr old Collie had a wonderful time at Daycare. The staff kept us updated with photos, and a video. We will definitely bring her there again.

I absolutely love this place! Everyone who works here is ALWAYS upbeat and happy. My dog absolutely LOVES coming here. He loves this place so much that anytime he gets in the car he is excited knowing that he is going to The Pets' Home. The fact that they allow the dogs to walk freely in a supervised area lets me know that my pup is safe and having tons of fun. I love picking up my sleepy puppy at the end of the day, because he is so exhausted from running around and having so much fun. I can not express how amazing this Daycare is. This is the Cadillac of Daycares, you will find nothing better.

My 3 year-old Australian shepherd had the best time at The Pet’s Home for his week-long stay! We received daily report cards that were a highlight as we heard about his behavior, his friends, and his day. I love the facility’s attention to detail and the little extras that they offer (Ice cream day in July? My dog loved it!). We will be back for day care and boarding.

Our first time sending our Chloe here for 9 days and we were extremely happy and satisfied with the care she received. Chloe was well taken care of and we received frequent reports and photos on how she was doing allowing us to relax while we were away visiting family. I love the different options that are provided in terms of sleeping quarters and activities. Everyone was so sweet and Chloe felt very comfortable and had friends to play with. We are definitely bringing her back!

We visited The Pets' home before we took our 5 month old puppy for a weekend stay. I was so impressed with Laura Mae. The dogs are living in her home/business. The dogs live like they are in their own home. No cages like they would be at other kennels. They have areas for different size dogs can play small, medium and large. Pool outdoor area. I was missing Buster so I inquired how he was doing...I was sent pictures of him playing and smiling 😃 I was so relieved. Laura was very accommodating and allowed me to pick up my dog after hours. We will bring Buster back as he was so well loved in her care. Thank you, Sue and Nick

We learned more in a few training sessions with Shannon, than we did from six months working with a trainer under contract. Thanks to Shannon’s clear instructions we were able to stop our adopted 7-year-old GSD from resource guarding. I was struggling with walking our dog who is reactive on and off lead. Shannon walked with me and our reactive dog several times for ½ hour. These walks improved my leash walking skills (I had a lot to learn!) and gave me strategies to use in different situations. This has helped me relax and has improved our walks considerably. Shannon also explained how we can use different commands to redirect our dog’s behavior within our home.

Shannon was the best trainer we’ve had. So kind and calm and spot on with her advice. We finished our session feeling very hopeful. Can’t wait to have her back to see our progress.

We had our first private training meeting with Shannon for our six-year-old mini poodle, and we could not be more impressed. She was patient, asked excellent questions, explained so much of his behavior to us, and had clear-cut ideas on how to approach his issues. We have clear homework, understand why we’re doing what we’re doing, and we are excited to see his progress. I wholeheartedly recommend Wild Pups!

We adopted Darwin about 7 weeks ago and he's mostly great but there were a few things we needed to work on. Shannon was very responsive and was able to meet us quickly. She explained everything very well and we are already starting to see results less than a day later! Would highly recommend!

Very disappointed in the follow up and communication. One moment weve a training session then we've gone weeks with no follow up or explanation but just been ghosted.

Shannon is very knowledgeable and helpful. Her instructions were clear and easy to follow. She really helped our puppy to get past his fears and some bad habits!

Shannon is an awesome trainer. She worked great wonders with our puppy. Highly recommend!!

Our sweet basset squad has been so loved here. Even our 15 yo girl is enjoying her adventure. We are so grateful they have been well cared for and kept safe by such caring staff.

Cozy Corner has been such a blessing for me. I bring my two dogs here, one of which is incredibly high needs due to his fear and anxiety issues. After trying a few other places I found Cozy and they handled him perfectly. I knew they would have experience with his issues as they are also a Rescue. It's been two years now and I've boarded them here several times - from as short as one night to as long as 10 days. I know my dogs are safe and very well cared for here.

Update: I’m not sure if there has been a management change but I no longer recommend this kennel. My puppy came back with a significant injury and I was told no one noticed or knew what happened. They did not offer to pay the vet bills and it ended up being infected. I’m very sad and disappointed. Oh my goodness, I hardly even know where to start. I’ve had many bad experiences with kennels because my dogs can be intimidating to some. However, Nathan was like an angel and called me to communicate about my dogs several times. He even referred to them as his babies. Omg ! I hardly ever travel because I couldn’t find a good place to keep my big dogs! But now I was able to visit my family in Florida for 10 days! I didn’t worry at all about my dogs. There is no other place I will EVER take them again! Thanks to Nathan this kennel has my 100% complete trust with my precious dogs. They came home clean and calm . They were obviously extremely well taken care of while in Cozy Corner’s hands. Wow hands down the best kennel ever. Thank you so much for taking care of our family members. I highly recommend !!

We've taken our girl to several difffent places for boarding over the years. Truly we were uncomfortable trying out a new place yet again, but Petsmart prices are increasing by the second it seems. I found this place when I was looking at Shar-Peis one day as they are also a rescue. Each time I called, whomever answered was very friendly, and I was encouraged to come out for a tour. It's not a big facilty which is perfect for my girl. We went the next week and brought my dog along just to get a sniff and she seemed to love it!! What's great is that she had her own area to be both inside and out, plus a yard to run around in as well. The day before we left her for our trip, she hurt her leg and was limping badly. We've since come to find out she has what would be a torn ACL in a human, but she was a champ while at the kennel and everyone took such great care of her. We checked in a few times to make sure she was ok, and everyone who answered knew who she was right away, which made me feel good. Kathy even sent videos to show us how she was doing after we called the first day. They did tell us when we booked that they would send like daily updates and pics, but that didn't happen which would be my one and only complaint. The prices are more than fair and we will most definitely be back.

It took me a few years to find this place but I am very happy we have. I have had so many nightmare with other boarders but no issues here. My dogs are always clean and happy when we pick them up. The staff is also very friendly and easy to deal with. This is the only boarder I will use going forward.

Jennifer was my pups Foster mom she was amazing such a loving caring person. Our puppy had no trouble transitioning into our family. Jen, the owner was so easy to work with the application process was quick and easy. So grateful to all for the amazing addition to our family. Thank you ladies ♥️.

Awesome people. They love animals and actually rescue dogs. They treated my Yorkie so well. They even sent her home with a free toy and treats.

This was our first time using Critter Sitters Pet Sitting and we will absolutely be using Sandy for all of our future pet needs! She was incredibly thorough, kind, communicative, and responsive to all of our pet needs. She cared for our elderly cat and pet hamster and took time to get to know their needs. She made us feel completely confident things were being taken care of at home. Highly recommend!

Since our former pet sitter retired in 2016, we have relied on Critter Sitters for all of our pet sitting needs. Our two dogs are able to stay in the comfort of their own home, and my husband and I can rest easy that their needs are being fully met and they are getting great attention while their humans are away. It is comforting to know that we can always count on having a written account of how each visit went waiting for us, on the kitchen counter, upon our return. In the few instances when something seemed a little out of the ordinary with either dog while we were away, we were contacted by phone and/or text to work out the situation. We can't thank Critter Sitters enough for jumping into action this past January. When our sitter arrived for the dogs' bedtime visit, she thought she heard water dripping in the basement. The extreme cold had caused a pipe to burst, and water was leaking from the ceiling, down the wall, and onto the furniture and carpet. The water was turned off by Critter Sitters and photos were taken and texted to us, which was an enormous help in getting the insurance claim started, before we even returned home. The Critter Sitters website is easy to navigate and always available. I am thankful for the scheduling flexibility of Critter Sitters. A number of times I have had to add an extra visit at the last minute, due to a flight delay. Sandy has always texted me back right away, to confirm that the extra visit(s) had been arranged. While we, of course, miss our dogs when we are away, we never worry about their well being, knowing that they are in the capable and loving hands of Critter Sitters.

We’ve used Sandy and crew at Critter Sitters for several years and always receive top notch service. We’ve been away for long trips, short trips, we’ve had to stay away extra days, we’ve had to come home early. We’ve needed medication given, messes cleaned up, doors opened, special snuggles to nervous kitties, etc. You name it Critter Sitters has handled it all in a professional and super caring way. Highly recommend!

Fabulous. We trust Sandy watching our pets and home while we are away over most of our family members! Update 5.28.21. While we were away on vacation for Memorial day, our house sitter mentioned that our cats were acting funny. My first instinct was to immediately reach out to Sandy, over any other of our family or friends, which I believe is a testament to how well she will care for your pets. Thank you Sandy for loving our pets as much as we do.

I can’t recommend highly enough. Sandy and Jill are amazing. Always putting your animals first. Sandy even got my backyard poultry to safety when she spotted a coyote circling. Goes above and beyond for your pets.
