Shirley has been talking care of our to cats Heidi and Lola. We have arrived home and the house and cat tray , carpets are all immaculate. My two girls are very furry and leave hair everywhere, when we were away Shirley sent me pics and update all the time. If anyone needs a pet sitter, I can highly recommend Shirley. I've used clarkston pet services for the past 2 years. My dog is a staffy who was very reactive and nervous around other dogs, Carla completely changed this, helping my dog to become socialised and very playful with other dogs. My dog is now a very happy and contented girl who loves the company of other dogs. This has made life a million times easier, we can go anywhere and meet other dogs with no bother at all. I would highly recommend this service to anyone .

FANTASTIC - what more can I say. Carla is my regular dog walker (even the mention of her name sends the dog looking out the window desperately seeking the Clarkston Pet Services van). When we go away, the dog has always been boarded on a farm, so we stick to hte routine.... but our other pets still need cared for .... Carla comes in takes care of our cat, hamster, fish and budgies, deals with the mail and waters the plants..... What a star!

CPS has been walking our pooches for a couple years now and I couldn't recommend the service highly enough. One of our dogs is very apprehensive of new 'human' friends. Carla went out her way to introduce herself in our back garden a few times (with chew toy) instead of braving the wilds of Rouken Glen with an uncomfortable dog.

Carla is brilliant with my bulldog and treats her like her own, going to auntie Carla’s is like home from home. Would recommend her to anyone 🐶💜 …

Our dog has been going to Leigh since she was 4 months old and I wouldn't want her to go anywhere else. I feel 100% comfortable with Leigh having access to our home & he takes such good care of our dog. He is friendly, accomodating, trustworthy and his family are all so lovely too. Leigh sends photos and videos or posts on Facebook which is always fun to watch while I'm working. A sleepy dog at the end of the day is a happy dog! I highly recommend Sherlock hounds

My rescue dog, Buddy, was in dire need of socialising with other dogs, so after putting the feelers out, Leigh from Sherlock Hounds came highly recommended. From the very first meeting he gave me confidance that my wee pup would be in great hands. Leigh took into consideration some issues Buddy had with being a rescue and took things slowly to build Buddys trust in him. It only took a short while to do that as Buddy now runs around happily with the other dogs and his tail wags like crazy when he sees Leigh. Its such a joy for me to see Buddy trust and love another human in his new life. Super caring, super professional, super friendly, so much more than a dog walking service. Thank you Leigh I 🙂

Leigh.. Where to start! I could spend all day writing a review on how fantastic your Dog Walking and Pet Services are and i dont know what Luna and I would do without you! Luna started walking with you at just 12 weeks and i wanted her socialised as early as possible - I was incredibly nervous about her leaving my side however as soon as i had met you and the way you responded to Luna, i knew instantly that you were the right person to look after my precious lady! You showed me all your insurances etc were in place and that also put me at ease as i knew she would be safe with you and the other dogs! I have Luna out 5 days a week with you and she just waits by the door for you arriving and cannot wait to get out and run about mad.. This is satisfying to see and all thanks to you taking her on excellent, safe and secure locations on the walks. She always dives right into her bed and i know she had a great time. More importantly the help you give owners is enormous just by taking the dogs for a few hours lets us have a break and get on with work if people are working from home, so thank you for that!! Thank you for all you do Leigh its amazing!!

We have used It’s a pups life for nearly 9 years now, from when our first dog was a puppy. Ronnie and his team are fantastic and our dogs love them. They are reliable and flexible too- whenever I have needed to switch my work days or work extra, they have always managed to walk my dogs for me. I highly recommend them .

We have used It’s a Pups Life for 2 years. Ronnie came round met us and our Goldie George. Told us about himself and the company and then Christine came round after and met George as well. We have never looked back. They have since expanded and bought a field which has exclusive use for the dogs. This is great for the them and allows us to know George is getting a proper free run and is safe. My interactions with Ronnie, Christine and Craig and have been excellent and they have been extremely accommodating to any situation as well. Couldn’t recommend them more! Fantastic, dog loving people and company.

We have used It’s a pup’s life for around 9 years now and consider them to be the best there is. It’s a pup’s life now also have access to their own large field/woodland area to walk the dogs which is fully secure for the dogs to run around safely. My dogs love it and it’s clear to see when Ronnie comes to collect them as they can’t get into the van quick enough to go out on their walk. Ronnie and the rest of the It’s a pup’s life team treat my dogs like their own which is obvious to see from how my dogs greet them on their arrival. I can highly recommend It’s a pup’s life and wouldn’t choose anyone else.

My dog has been with Ronnie, Christine and the gang since she was 12 weeks old and loves going out her walks with him. We ve been with It’s a Pup’s Life for nearly 4 years now and Scout always comes come tired and happy. I particularly like that they have a large area of land that only they use as I know she ll always be safe.

We have used It’s A Pup’s Life for the past 2 ½ years. Ronnie visited to meet our new puppy prior to taking him out on solo puppy walks until he was ready to be with to be out with the big boys & girls in the daily gang. We can see how much Seve looks forward to his walks with Ronnie and we are grateful to Ronnie & the team for looking after him so well. The addition of the new woodland for their exclusive use makes their service unique. Seve sleeps for hours when he arrives home – job done!

It's a Pup's life is the most fantastic dog walking service. Everyone is so kind and caring towards my fur baby. She is so excited knowing she is going with her gang of friends. They were also fabulous with my cocker spaniel when she was unwell. Couldn't ask for anything more. I recommend them to everyone I meet. 5* .

It's A Pup's Life have been walking our dog for years, and looked after our previous dog too. Our dogs have always been well exercised and socialised. The team are always friendly and accommodating to our needs. It's been great peace of mind to know the dogs are so well taken care of when we're at work.

Ronnie, Sammi and the team have been walking my crazy beagle Crosby for 10 years! Crosby is very well looked after on his walks and although he's getting slower in his old age he still enjoys getting out. Ronnie and Sammi have gone above and beyond to help us out when we've been stuck for someone to look after him, when we've gone on holiday or during house moves and we know he's treated like he's one of their own. It’s A Pup’s Life are brilliant! Our Westie Winston is always wagging his tail when Craig arrives to pick him up and is usually black by the time he gets home... both good signs that he enjoys his time out with his four-legged friends! Highly recommend 🐶

It's a Pup's Life provides a brilliant service and have put a great system in place to deal with covid distancing. My dog Maui absolutely adores Christine and comes back from her walks full of beans. I highly recommend them.

My dog has been staying at Mearns Lodge for 8 years, usually once a month, and loves it! The team are so welcoming and take special care of his extra needs as a senior dog. I feel so reassured knowing how well he’s being looked after (and spoiled!)

Great kennels, good space and plenty of exercise, friendly caring staff too

Review is based off of a visit and “tour” of the facility we took last month. We did not choose to board our dog here. One star for the facility itself, which was quite nice. Looked clean and tidy, and lots of room to roam for the dogs. However, 4 stars have been docked for their unfriendly demeanor, unclear communication, and disinterest in our actual dog. We initially spoke to a friendly woman on the phone who told us we would have to come for a visit and tour of the facility before booking our dog in for our holiday in February. She explained that the visit was for us to see the place, and for them to get a feel for our dog's demeanor. She also advised that we should book a one night stay in late January, close to our holiday, so our dog would feel more comfortable during the longer stay, which made sense. However, upon our arrival with our dog for the tour, we were immediately made to feel unwelcome by the 2 women in the front office, without even a hello. Instead we were told quite bluntly that dogs are not allowed on tours….of the dog boarding facility. If that had been communicated to us beforehand, we absolutely would have left him home. But the woman on the phone had encouraged the dog's presence. After that unfriendly welcome it was decided that one of us would stay with the dog, and the other would tour, and then we would switch off. The “tour” itself was a 3 minute walk down a hallway, with little time to ask questions. We were also not allowed to go into any boarding rooms, even though most were empty at the time. My partner got the short end of the stick by going second, his “tour” was only about a minute and a half in length. Following that, we were told that January was far too late to book a one night stay, because the stay was not only for our dog to feel comfortable, but also for them to decide if they wanted him there. Further, we were told that we might need to book *2 or 3 one night stays* prior to our holiday, and *then* they would decide whether they wanted to board our dog…(Also neither woman had much interest in even saying hello to our dog. Do they even like dogs here??) Overall, definitely go and visit (but DON’T bring your dog…) because maybe the vibe will be to your liking. But we left with a very bad taste in our mouths.

Firstly I would say this looks like a great facility - lovely clean kennels and great set up, its just that we were made to feel very unwelcome. We booked in a visit as potential boarding for our lovely rescue dog but from the start of the visit, we just felt very unwelcome and blockers put in our way to proceed - everything seemed to be problematic. It's a real shame as I think the boarding would have been a great environment for our boy and he would have adapted brilliantly but from the start of the visit we felt very excluded and it was clear that they did not want to proceed - we really felt that they did not want to take our dog (I would add our dog has no behavioral issues and successfully boards and attends daycare in another location - we just wanted to have another option due to how busy our normal kennel/ daycare is)

Fantastic place! My dog has been for both day care and boarding and seemed to really enjoy it. I know when I leave him he's being well looked after by very friendly staff who are knowledgeable about dogs.

Our dog has been attending daycare here for about a year, she absolutely loves it, she is very well cared for and it has benefitted her enormously. We also use their dog field at weekends to give her a good run in a safe place. Really glad we found this place.

Just picked my dog up from the lodge and the people working there could not have looked after her any better very helpful and polite people would highly recommend mearns canine Lodge if you are looking for boarding kennels

Mearns Canine Lodge is very good all the staff are lovely and welcoming our dog Angus has been a few times and he's very happy there the grounds and facilities are very nice and I know Angus is getting looked after and I don't need to worry they also put videos on fb of the dogs playing with the other dogs in the fenced area on the grounds I just look at it Angus is going his we holiday when he goes to Mearns canine lodge and he enjoys it. If I could have given more stars I would have 5 isn’t enough. My boy had been to another kennel before we started using Mearns Canine Lodge and horror story is an understatement. Hugo is my baby he’s a typical daft staffy who loves his cuddles and loves a good run about he wasnt the same dog when we brought him home from last kennel he was so skinny couldn’t stop shaking and wouldn’t even come up for a cuddle (won’t name them but they just outside Glasgow) whole different story when we came here. I worried the whole time we where away but I can hand on heart say this place is amazing. Hugo had a ball he had been eating he was happy and comfortable and went in to his kennel no bother. The kennels are very clean and well run you can see the day care dogs in the garden all playing and happy aswel. They have out door runs aswel so if your dog is like Hugo who forgets to come home when he’s out this is great they can run about and get a good stretch. This is our go to kennel now but book well in advance as they are busy. Well done Mearns Canine Lodge one happy dog = one happy mum thank you

I was really impressed by PetStay Glasgow from the start - Jane is very professional and inspires confidence. She asked for a lot of information about our lab Grace before matching her with a sitter. Grace was with Eleanor and family for 2 weeks and she couldn't have been better looked after. Eleanor was very good at keeping in touch and sent daily news and excellent videos and photos of Grace. Grace was also given a variety of walks and activities (she even 'helped' with the recycling) and looked happy and very much herself. Eleanor clearly cares about the dogs she looks after and does an amazing job. We will certainly be using PetStay again, and would love to have Eleanor and family look after Grace again.

Martin and Kelly and their children welcomed Austin and Gladys back to their home and treated them extremely well. They kept us updated with photos and messages. They even threw Austin a birthday party while he was there with cakes and presents. I couldn’t be happier with their care🤗 …

Our dog Meg was fantastically looked and cared for by Lorraine and family , Lorraine kept us updated with pictures and videos of her stay with her family , Meg looked like she was from home to home , out every day playing with her new found friends Lorraine's daughter and son , especially she loved Lorraine, the service we was giving was 100%+ as I was not sure leaving Meg with anyone as she was used to family members looking after her but Lorraine made memories and security in my heart , would recommend this company Pet stay to anyone they would not let you down and ensure your pet is suitable with the right person like we had , only thing that we can say is that Meg is missing Lorraine and family thank you again Pet stay and Lorraine for looking after Meg and she woofs you all.

This was our first time using Petstay and won't be our last. Our 18 month old cockapoo Rico stayed 7 days with Joanna and her terrier Roger. I was really worried about leaving Rico but could see Joanna loved dogs , she continued with Ricos routine, ensuring he had plenty of exercise each day and Roger was happy to have a friend . Joanna sent us videos/ photos each day which we all loved getting, he's going back again in a couple of monhhs for 2 weeks . We had such a fantastic experience using PetStay - from the get go Jane put us at ease and explained how the process worked. She took as much information as she could about our dog Chase to ensure she matched us to the perfect carer. We were matched with Lorraine and her family. On the first visit with Lorraine we knew Chase would be in safe hands. When dropping him off for the week we felt anxious as this was the first time he had stayed anywhere except family but that settled very quickly when we seen how happy he was to see Lorraine. Every day we received pictures and feedback of what he got upto that day and lets just say he was definitely on his holidays too. Eleanor and her whole family made our petstay experience amazing. She and all of her family gave our collie Dornie the most amazing care while we were on holiday. We got regular updates as to how he was settling in, which was extremely reassuring for us and laid our minds to rest so we could enjoy our holiday. Eleanor took gorgeous photos and sent us loads, we really appreciated this! All in all, I think Eleanor has been our best dog sitter ever, and we would love to have her and her lovely family to look after Dornie again. We liked the company Petstay too, it was easy to set up our pet care, our sitter was very well matched to our Dornie. All in all, a great service, I would give 6* if I could! Many thanks :)

I can’t rate PetStay Glasgow highly enough. Jane paired our dog up with a lovely family to take care of our dog while we went on holiday. The service from PetStay is exceptionally professional and thoughtful from start to finish, and our dog had a wonderful time when we were away. He was paired with a perfect family. The family he boarded with sent us a photo and an update each day, which put our minds at rest and we could see how happy our dog was. He even went to the beach! I am extremely grateful to Jane and the family who took exceptional care of our pup when we were away. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend PetStay and I would be very happy to use them again in the future.

Goodness, where to start. I have only very positive things to say about my entire experience using Pet Stay. From my initial contact with Jane, who was so helpful, thorough and very quickly matched my dog to his hosts. Marie and Kenny are just lovely people. They were wonderful hosts. So kind, friendly and very accommodating. Skipper settled so well and just had the best time with them. He was on lovely walks/went to the cafe which he loves and I was kept up to date via messages and pictures during Skipper's stay. I will absolutely use Pet Stay again, and would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone A fantastic experience, hence the 5 stars.

Was a bit worried as haven't left poppy with anyone for more than few days, We met Jean , Pat & jasmine before leaving poppy with them, We were sent photos of poppy & she settled well throughout her stay. When your dog is such a huge part of your life, you want the best for them. Kitkat is a sensitive dog and we knew kennels would not be a good fit for her. So imagine our relief, when from the very first meeting, Kitkat was relaxed and happy with Alice and Bernard Stuart. It was so obvious she would be happy and settled that we went home and booked the dates right away! During our holiday Kit was in a home from home environment. She was able to sit where she liked and sleep where she liked. Kit enjoyed walks by water and met the local wildlife. She was looked after so well, we could see from the photos how she was doing. The attached photos were sent to us during our holiday by Alice. I would not hesitate to recommend petstay to anyone. Jane is fabulous, very thorough and efficient. An altogether brilliant service from a wonderful team! We are looking at dates next year already!

Cannot recommend this lovely gal enough! She looked after our dog Bambi when her flight was delayed before she moved to live with us in the UAE and was absolutely fabulous. Super flexible and kind with our crazy situation and the absolute best with Bambi who is just a bag of nerves!

Amy and Anna from Cardonald dog walking are the perfect dog walkers. Nothing is a bother and they are so caring and considerate of our elderly dog. My dog is raging when I'm on holiday and it's me walking her. Highly recommend for anyone who needs a dog walker or dog boarding services.

Hamish has really enjoyed his walks with Amy. Amy always responds to our messages and keeps us informed on how Hamish is settling in within the group. Amy is trustworthy and responsible, so much so that we often get her to check-in on our rabbits when we're away on holiday.

It's been so great having Amy and Anna to walk Bailey as it gives her a really good chance to socialise with other dogs which she really missed out on in her early years. Both Amy and Anna really care about Bailey as if she was their own dog and would always recommend then.

Taylor Made Activities have been looking after our Sprocker now for 6 months and it has become his home away from home. He loves it there and is very well looked after. We receive a very high level of service and would recommend Andy and the team to any dog owner.

Andy and Alfie provide an excellent service. Our chocolate lab Bruce watches for them every day. The service they provide is second to none, the dogs get a full hour of walking in the country. Bruce also boards there while we go on holiday. The dogs stay in the house and get treated as part of the family. Nothing is to much trouble and we would like to thank you for loving our fur babies as much as we do 🐶🐶

Taylor Made Activities have been walking and boarding my English Shepherd for over four years and I wouldn't trust anyone else with her care. She enjoys long off lead walks, a safe and enclosed garden to play in and, importantly to me, becomes part of the family when she boards. Reliable, flexible and accommodating they are a great team providing a first class service.

I have had several dog walkers over the 2 years we have had our dog. Hands down Taylor Made are the best and most professional outfit. They never let you or the dogs down. My dog loves them. Andy and Alfie took care of our 2 dogs for years. Both dogs loved them and would sit outside waiting for them to arrive. Sadly both dogs passed away from old age but if/when we get other dogs, we'll definitely use them again. Would recommend them to anyone who loves their dogs.

Andy and Alfie have been walking my german shepherd for the last 3 years. She always gets her full hour sometimes longer and she bounds out of the door with excitment everytime they come. Andy not only walks and boards our dog but gives us tips and advice along the way. Nothing is ever too much trouble. 5* service.

We very rarely board our dog so it’s a challenge when we have too. However when we met Mandy and her family, including the family dog Holly, I couldn’t have been happier! Maisie was treated as one of the family and exactly how we look after her at home. She had a lovely time, lots of walks, playtime and naps- generally spoilt rotten 😀. Lots of pictures throughout her visit too. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Thank you Wee Dog Walker & family 🤩
