I could not have asked for a better first experience with zeewoi! Jordan and Nataki were great at communicating from the very start, and they sent me pictures and updates every day. I didn’t have to worry for a moment that my cat Anya was feeling lonely because I could tell she warmed up right away, even though she’s usually quite shy! They also went above and beyond making sure my apartment was tidy for when I got home. So grateful and would definitely be honored for them to sit for me again any time!

Misti
Misti was wonderful! She was able to come by before I left town to meet my dog, Grace, which I really appreciated. She sent daily pics or videos and made sure that Grace got tons of snuggle time, which is a major requirement to keep my dog happy :) Cats and skateboards are evil enemies to Grace and it sounds like Misti experienced both and handled it flawlessly! Misti was a great communicator, left everything tidy for me when I got home and Grace was super mellow and relaxed, which tells me she got all the care she needed while I was gone. I highly recommend Misti - I'll definitely be asking her to sit again!

Lilly and Thomas stayed at our house and cared for our dogs for a month. I think they took the dogs to the beach nearly every day. Seeing pictures of our dogs on the beach made our time away from them feel so much better. Our house was immaculate when we returned, and we felt so fortunate to have such kind and loving people step in for us in our absence. Anyone would be super lucky to have them in their home.

Marlen was such a blessing. We had another sitter cancel just a week before our vacation date so I was so relieved that she was able to step in at such short notice. She came to meet our pups a few days in advance so they would recognize her. While we were away, Marlen sent picture updates and made sure the dogs were cared for. Denise was by far the best pet sitter we have ever had! She watched our two pups while we were gone for 3 weeks and took amazing care of our dogs and home. She took the time to ask questions and make sure she understood each dog’s needs as well as how to take the best care of our house before we left. She sent videos everyday updating us on how the pups were doing. We were so happy to see how much quality time she was spending with them and how much they loved her. Our dogs were so sad to see her leave and we can’t wait to have her back. Denise made sure that the house was in perfect condition when she left and treated our home as if it were her own. Brian is awesome - he is simply the best pet sitter and house sitter that we have EVER had and we've had a bunch. He is experienced, thoughtful, respectful, loving, appreciative, helpful, enthusiastic...the list just goes on. Started with our initial call - it was our first sit with zeewoi and he immediately instilled confidence in us in how he talked about his experience and how he saw his role. In the pre-planning, he had great questions for us and helped us to get organized. He was thorough through the instructions, came in a day early to make sure he understood everything about our house and our dog and then followed through on everything. He even drove us to the airport and picked us up on the return. Along the way we were gone, he sent us pictures and kept us updated - always making us feel good about being away and knowing Jorge and the house were in great hands. We had workers coming to fix a fence while gone and some other activity at the house - he was helpful, available, and willing to do whatever was needed to be done. He was self-sufficient and when it came time to leave, he had everything organized and cleaned at the house - he left it in better condition than he received it. We would love to have Brian sit whenever we are away (and in fact will invite him and hope he says yes!) - any one would be lucky to have Brian as their house and pet sitter.

Care and compassion for my dogs was at the top of the list of John's attributes. He was the first sitter I have used through zeewoi that was close enough to come meet the dogs before the sit. John not only came for an initial meet and greet, but he made time to meet the pups a second time prior to my departure to better familiarize himself with both the dogs and my home. Having put the fear of God in him about Penny's reactivity (I might have been a bit over the top, but better more attentive than less!), he was cautious with her in the beginning. Later in the sit, they trooped off to the beach on multiple occasions - all good! My 10-yr-old was on some meds for a serious battle with arthritis, and John managed Cooper's needs beautifully. John even made a call and a trip to the vet to re-up Coop's prescription when it was clear he needed to continue the protocol. I received daily updates by text, including photos and video; communication is hugely important to me. I feel blessed to have had John care for my fur-babies.

Jamie was a lifesaver! Our confirmed sitter canceled just greater than 2 weeks out from our trip, and after just a short chat I could tell that she was ideal for our home and dogs. When we had a Covid exposure just before leaving for our trip Jamie didn't miss a beat. We did a hand-off of the dogs and home outdoors to keep her safe. We unfortunately had another exposure just before returning home, so were bummed that we couldn't spend some time with Jamie before she left us. Jamie is dependable, organized, and flexible with scheduling. She is an excellent communicator and sent us the cutest pictures of our dogs. We knew Teddy and Bella were in very capable hands while we were away. Jamie left our house very clean and with all the linens washed. She even left a plant and thank you card, so thoughtful! The two-leggeds and four-legged members of this household give Tess a 5-star rating! We think she's one of the best sitters you will find - highly communicative, friendly, competent, reliable, and great with pets. Tess was also flexible about start and end dates to accomodate possible winter weather complications. For this sit, Tess was able to bring along her mom, Cathy. Tess introduced me to Cathy during one of our Skype conversations prior to the sit. It was a bonus to have her here with Tess. Their travel to Marquette was complicated by weather. A fierce winter storm swept across Michigan just before the sit. It took Tess and Cathy two days to drive here but they arrived, as promised, in time for us to fly out early the next morning. We even had time for a lovely dinner together and to introduce them to the dogs and house. We left the next day and never had a moment's worry while Tess and Cathy were caring for our pets and home. Tess sent us regular updates and photos. The dogs immediately accepted them as great new additions to their pack of friends - even our cranky, old chihuahua, Nike! We returned to happy pets and a spotlessly clean home. We plan to invite Tess (and Cathy if available) to return for future sits. Thank you, Tess and Cathy!

I cannot thank Jenny and Geoff enough for stepping in at the last minute after the original sitter cancelled. They are a great couple, friendly , organised and extremely capable. Also they LOVE animals. My dog and cat have clearly been given a great deal of care and attention in my absence. Jenny kept in touch with notes and lovely photos, Geoff cut my grass and I came home to a spotlessly sparkling house ! Thank you so much! Our gang of 4 cats Jack, Tink, Bella and Barney stayed with Laurie at Maple House Cattery just recently. The service we received and the care and attention my cats were given was just amazing from the start. Laurie has been extremely helpful and professional, inviting me to visit the cattery before booking to see the facilities and has been very understanding of everyones needs, including my own - THANK YOU!. Tink is a very nervous traveller (had a wee accident on route) and Jack requires medication twice a day but neither was a problem to Laurie who helped me clean Tink up on arrival and was more than happy to administer Jacks medication as needed. Bella was very nervous and stressed for the first day but Laurie soon had her coming out to say hello. We received an inital update and daily pictures, which was fantastic to see how well they were all settling in....some maybe enjoying the lovely cosy beds Laurie provides a little to much 😁. The cattery is kept impeccably clean. The facilities are new and warm with the cats getting out daily in a secure area for play time. We will most definitely call on Laurie at Maple House Cattery again and would without question recommended to anyone else looking for cat boarding facilities. We truly felt our cats were cared for and engaged with throughout their stay - this is not just your regular cat boarding facility! So thankful of your understanding through a difficult time for us and the time you have taken to look after our gang. Massive thank you to Laurie and all at Maple House Cattery 😻
Our boys had their first stay ever in a cattery. We are so glad that we chose Maple House. The boys settled in straight away and we were spoilt with photos & updates each day. Had our cat Hamish stay here recently from Monday-Friday. Hamish was incredibly well looked after and Laurie kept us up to date regarding his eating etc. We also got plenty photos which was fab as we could see he was happy! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Very friendly service and nothing is too much hassle communication was great. The cattery itself is spotless and very well equipped and a fab size.

Our half Siamese cat who likes company and is very inquisitive was very happy at this fantastic Cattery. He received love and attention and was kept warm and snug in high quality modern cubicles. Angus was let out to play in two areas with cat tunnels and toys. The service and efficiency was excellent. We received WhatsApp posts with photos. There was even calm music in background ! I highly recommend Maple House and Angus will become a regular customer.
Maple House Cattery looked after our Zinc when we were away for a period of 3 weeks, from start to finish they were very informative, and kept us up to date mostly every day with pictures or information on how our cat was, which helped us both with being away for so long, we were so thankful. For future occasions we will most definetely be using their service and would recommend this 100% to anybody else thinking about it and willing to use this facility. No faults or complaints, we are both very appreciative of the time being taken to look after Zinc, A big thank you to Maple House Cattery.

Wow, what a place. Our dog Fletch goes weekly and has the time of his life. Social and interaction with other dogs and the human are great too. Picked up from home in the Hilltop Bus, fantastic day and then returned home. 5 star service and 5 star care!!! He sits in the window ever week waiting on the bus and gets so excited when they arrive.
Hilltop are amazing, all the staff I've spoken with or met are extremely kind and helpful, my dog Boba loves going there, I actually believe he thinks he's their dog too. They take amazing pictures of all the dogs and treat them all like there a part of a giant family. I couldn't recommend a better service, team and group of people. Also you get to enjoy a hilarious update of what your dog has been getting up too.
I started Nala off at Hiltops puppy school from approx 16weeks old and haven’t looked back since. She always so excited to go and has grown into a well rounded, super sociable, loving dog. All the staff are amazing and very attentive to ours needs. I would highly recommend to anyone.
Our Golden Retriever Finn has been going to Hilltop once a week since he was a puppy and we couldn't be happier. The team there are incredible, they've taken the time to get to know Finn helping him grow into a well rounded and confident dog. We love that we can ask any staff member how his day went and get a detailed report, a fun story, or even helpful advice on what we can work on at home. We're beyond thrilled with Hilltop and we know Finn is too!
Our dog has been attending Hilltop since it started, and our experience of it is consistently excellent across the board. From pick-up and drop-off (even when we're not at home) to hearing how he's doing, getting in touch with the staff to ask for extra days, swaps, etc., and seeing photos at the end of the day, every aspect of our interactions with Hilltop is first class. Far more importantly than that, however: it's so clear to us how much our dog loves his time there! He utterly adores the staff that pick him up, spend the day with him, and drop him off again, and it's crystal clear that the staff really care about and know the dogs as individual characters. He's got some really good pals amongst the doggies too, and we've seen him grow in confidence and sociability. We feel that he's in such safe hands, and we absolutely trust Jon, Mhairi, Claire, Carly, and the rest of the team to make sure that he has a joyful, enriching (and tiring!) time. Thank you Hilltop, and I'd highly recommend!

Our Springer, Archie loved Hilltop Doggy Day Care, from his very first visit for his trial session. He always seems to know when it’s a Thursday, he sits looking over the back of the sofa out the window, waiting for Carly to come & collect him. Then he can’t get out the door quick enough to see her and get in the van. One of our main reasons for sending him, is his lack of recall, daycare gives the freedom to have a good run around & play with other dogs. Can’t recommend them highly enough, we know that Archie is well looked after & enjoying himself.
Amazing day care. Harris starts his morning being picked up in the doggy bus by Carly. Always so excited to see her and cant wait to leave with her! Fabulous company - clearly care deeply for dogs. Our fur babies can’t wait to get into the van when collected! Great to have a photo slide deck of who they were playing with and what they got up to after their ‘school day’ . Hilltop are careful about the group mix to ensure that personalities/behaviours are a fit. Great to know that they are safe and having the opportunity to play with dogs of all sizes. When they come home, they are just exhausted and very laidback. Big high 5 from us !!

Both my dogs were boarded here for 17 days while I was on holiday. I was getting a wee bit anxious before they went but Alison was very helpful. They can’t tell me they had a good time, but I know with the way they were behaving when I collected them that they had a great time. These kennels were recommended to me and I have no hesitation in recommending Alison and her staff to others. 5 stars

Iona is great! Short stays, dog walking, nothing is too much! Our 2 dogs love staying with her - a real home from home.
My dog loved staying with Iona. She was accommodating with times for pick up and drop off and very reasonably priced. My dog must have had a great day playing as he instantly fell asleep when he came home.
I started using Iona when she stared up as my little jack russell couldn’t be out at a yard I worked on so on a longer day to break her day up I got Iona to walk her. After a change in circumstances I wasn’t at the yard but asked if Maple would be able to go for home boarding when I’m away. Maple has enjoyed her first stay, went away happy and came back happy. 110% recommend Walks4Paws as I don’t have to worry or think when I’m away.

Such a lovely lady, who clearly loves dogs. We had to attend a funeral in Galashiels at short notice and she kindly agreed to look after our dog while we were there. It’s not often you find such generous hearted people. She is a gem and I would highly recommend Arthurshiel Kennrls.

Elaine is without doubt the best place to leave our dogs. They absolutely love to see her and dropping them off I know they are in safe hands, so no longer spend our holidays worrying about them as they've been coming for 5 years now. Bertie is really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. My two dogs love their walks with her when I’m away and can’t do it myself.
Coldingham Pets cared for our dogs, whilst we enjoyed a trip to Edinburgh. From start to finish, it was an excellent experience. Bertie is organised, reliable, professional, prices reasonably and most importantly has a genuine affinity with animals. We were impressed with the questions she asked and her eagerness to provide a bespoke service. We highly recommend Coldingham Pets and will definitely be using the service again in the future.
Bertie takes care of my girl B when needed, I love the photo's that arrive when they're out on a walk, so reassuring as an owner and very thoughtful. Fantastic and reliable service, B really likes being with you, thank you Bertie xx

Would definitely board here again having 3 border collies 2 boys and a girl they definetly had a ball the 2boys had a bit of discrepancy which was sorted right away they definitely know how to handle dogs thanks Shona and Stephen and the rest of the staff
The times they offer for both daycare and boarding are not suitable to many people with actual lives. The man was rude down the phone as I didn't understand why I couldn't have my dog boarded for more than 4 hours over the weekend. This left us pretty stuck with care. Can't understand why they have business as their attitude towards potential customers and unusual open times makes no sense. I've seen many boarders and day cares over the years and this is the strangest one yet. Unhelpful and misleading in many ways. Don't take my advice...ring and work it out for yourselves.
Amazing staff, great location and brilliant price. Doyle is always happy and well looked after here. Happy to have found somewhere decent after the hell we went through elsewhere 10/10
Had my boxer in for the weekend with Stephen and his staff, he had an absolute ball and was so well looked after. Would highly recommend using these kennels for your fur babies. ⭐️
I would like to thank all the staff for looking after our wee boy Max. We have never used kennels before and to be honest we were a little apprehensive, but after picking him up and getting him home he seems fine.Still as mad as ever and no change in behaviour at all. We as a family were impressed that the kennels made sure Max was up to date with his vaccinations. Thanks again
It was a very bad experience. The guy was very impolite and rude. The prices weren’t what they were on the website page. It’s impossible to collect your dog on a Sunday. It means that you need to take an extra day off just to collect your dog. In conclusion, I don’t recommend leaving your dogs there.
More than happy to have my ageing pooch here. Good, kind people. I put 4 stars as I've used these kennels only four times so not that experienced.
My little pooch seemed to have a good time there and more importantly he liked the people if not the other dogs
Perhaps might have lost half a star thanks to confusion over our booking bit but otherwise seemed well set up.

We used these kennels for our Frenchie when we went on holiday in April. We didn’t know what to expect as we’ve never used kennels before for any of our dogs. However, Susan was great…. She showed us around prior to him going in and on our return he appeared happy to see us with no issues. We have already booked him in for another 2 upcoming holidays. 😊
Used these kennels not knowing what to expect as we don't live in the area but found them to be very friendly and understanding. I've not left Thyra our beagle more than one night before so was a bit worried but I needn't have been. She seemed to be happy when we collected her 3 days later.
While I was moving my home back from Spain to the UK I had to find kennels for my two dogs, Pease Lye was my best decision of 2016. They could not have done any more for us and our dogs, we even got a regular updates and photos. First class service
I can’t recommend Pease Lye Boarding Kennels enough , lilah and tequila had the best wee holiday with susan and David it’s the first time they have been in kennels , Would highly recommend them couldn’t Thank them enough for looking after them so welL , I felt so much at ease with the picture and video updates and was able to relax knowing they were so loved and happy on there week long holiday,

Our dogs love here, Lesley love and attention is 2nd to none as for the kennels the are absolutely spectacular and the freedom the dogs have is incredible.
First time we've used Lesley although some of our neighbours have been regulars in the past. Only a weekend away but our dog has come back unfazed by the experience - can't ask for more.
