Ahoy, me hearties! As I approached the establishment, me trusty hound Salty by me side, I couldn't help but mutter, "Blimey, this place be fancier than the Governor's mansion we plundered last month!" A cheery lass greeted us at the door. "Welcome to Hunters Lodge! How can we help you today?" "Arrr," I growled, "I be needin' a place to stow me first mate while I'm off plunderin'... err... I mean, vacationin'." The lass smiled, seemingly unfazed by me pirate garb. "Of course! We'd be happy to look after your dog. What's his name?" "This here be Salty," I said, puffing out me chest. "The fiercest sea dog to ever sail the seven seas!" At that moment, Salty rolled over, begging for a belly rub. "I can see he's a real terror," the lass chuckled. As we toured the facilities, I couldn't help but be impressed. "Shiver me timbers!" I exclaimed, "These quarters be nicer than me captain's cabin!" The lass nodded, "We pride ourselves on our comfortable accommodations." Under me breath, I muttered to Salty, "Don't be gettin' too used to this luxury, ye mangy mutt. It's back to ship's biscuits and grog when we set sail again." Salty wagged his tail, clearly not sharing me concerns. When it came time to leave, I found meself gettin' a bit misty-eyed. "Now, ye be good, Salty," I said gruffly. "No mutinies while I'm gone, ye hear?" The staff assured me they'd take good care of him. As I turned to leave, I overheard one worker whisper to another, "Is it Talk Like a Pirate Day already?" "Nay," replied the other, "I think he's just... eccentric." With a final "Arrr!" I swaggered out, secretly pleased to have found such a fine port for me canine companion. As I set sail in me car, I couldn't help but think, "Yo ho ho!. Salty be livin' like a king while I'm off... err... relaxin' on the high seas!"

My two kitties Tillie and Daisy stayed here for a week from 16th Oct 24. They were very well looked after, the lady who looked after them was great and even found the time to give them their Licky Licks. I called them while I was away in Spain, to see if they were okay and the lady who answered knew exactly which cats I meant and was able to reassure me straight away. When I collected them at the end of their week they were looking very well and healthy. They’d never been away from home before and are only one year old (sisters) so they were very excited when we got home. I was pleased they had been so well looked after.

A truly lovely place with lots of space. Definitely feels like the place caters to dogs more than cats which is unfortunate. I didn’t really feel like my cat had a proper handover on her care (her behaviour etc) as she gets very nervous at catteries. The handover was very quick. I didn’t really get a chance to say bye before she was taken by a young girl. I ended up picking her up a day early and I had no handover whatsoever on how she did. Did she eat? Was she okay? I have no idea. The two young girls holding her bag and carrier didn’t greet or say anything to me. I also can’t find a white kicker toy that we sent her with although I’m not sure if that was lost prior to us handing her over. This establishment is truly a beautiful place and we really wanted to like it as it’s close to us, but for the price and the experience we had, we’d only come back if everywhere else was booked.

i was anxious to put my cats here while i was going abroad, but the staff were so polite and helpful when i called with questions, and when i arrived with my cats they were so helpful, kind and asked all the questions i wanted to be asked like routine, eating, medications etc. they even sent me pics while i was away and missing the cats! when i came to collect them almost 2 weeks later, they were quick, and kind again. i am definitely going to continue using Hunters Lodge for all of my trips! such a great peace of mind and my cats definitely seemed happy when they came home!

Because of an unexpected hospitalization, we contacted the Hunters Lodge just before closing time, and they kindly accommodated our dog. The team was incredibly accommodating! The kennels were impeccably clean, and the staff was friendly, showing genuine love and interest in animals. The supervised play sessions for the dogs were excellent, and most importantly, our dog was pleasantly tired out when we picked her up. There's nothing to dislike about their service. I wholeheartedly recommend them!

My dogs have been staying at Hunters Lodge for 10 years and my cats for 2 years. It was a great addition when the cattery was up and running. The care and attention from the staff is of the best quality, as are the kennels. My rescue dog is not the easiest to manage, and not every kennel would take him on. So I cannot thank Richard enough for his help with this situation. Any special requirements and medicine giving has never been a worry and my dogs get so excited as soon as we pull onto the driveway, always a reassuring sign they love their stay here. Yvonne always greets you with a smile and a chat and keeps a check on things. I could never consider taking my fur kids anywhere else. Huge thank you from Lesley, Coco, Jet, Dexter and Darcy

Our 9 month old Springer Spaniel Freddie has been at Hunters Lodge for over 3 months recovering from a broken leg. A massive thanks to Richard, Hayley, Yvonne and all the team for taking such wonderful care of him. He is now home with our other spaniels and I am pleased to say has made a full recovery. Special thanks goes out to Sophie who spent so much time one on one with him along with other colleagues. We cannot thank you enough and the service and facilities you offer to both owners and their pets are first class. Thank you again from Karen, myself and of course Freddie.

Our dog is 13 years old, Cairn Terrier, he has some health problems, we didn't inform him about it, but the hotel owner was very kind and accepted him. When we picked up the dog, he looked very happy and even better than before. Now we’ll leave him here, I think he likes it. It is also very cool that i can book days of stay through the website, we came from London, but it was good idea, because service and people was very friendly. Also I like black dog in reception area. He likes our dog, it’s a good sign, because usually our dog not friendly at all.

We have been so impressed with Hunters Lodge Kennels as it was our first time we have used them and Richard and his team came highly recommended by friends that regularly kennel their dogs there. Our Springer Spaniel pup Freddie, broke his leg in December and needed specialist care. I cannot thank Yvonne enough for her attention and for organizing his care and to Sophie who has given love, attention and stimulation for such a live wire. Freddie is happy and healthy and half way through his rehabilitation under their care. Richard and Yvonne report back regularly with updates on his progress which is really important. The facilities are great and all staff we have met are enthusiastic friendly and professional. My husband and I would thoroughly recommend the services of Hunters Lodge Kennels to anyone. Absolutely can't recommend them enough. I'm always impressed when I turn up and they know my dog by name when they greet him (Frederick!) which is so impressive given how many dogs they see. They generally seem happy to see every dog that comes through the door. My dog has early onset dementia now and they have been fantastic in supporting his extra needs. I feel really confident leaving him here and the staff are all wonderful. Absolutely worth every penny.

As soon as Richard walked in and greeted our dog we knew we had picked the right sitter! Richard made us feel so comfortable leaving our dog from the initial Zoom call to check-in to arriving at our house. Communication right through was great! We had an Whatssap update 3 mins after leaving the house which put both myself and my partner at ease. The updates Richard gives are great right through the stay and mean the world when you miss your pet! Knowing they’re having fun and are in the best care is top priority. I honestly couldn’t recommend Richard more, the care and attention our dog got right in his own home was second to none. Thank you Richard - we have booked Richard again for next year!

I’d like to give way more than 5 stars for Paradise4Pets - I can honestly say that I have never been so relaxed about leaving my animal family with someone! Richard kept me really well updated and he absolutely delivered on his promise not to leave the house for more than 2 hours out of 24 (I don’t think he actually left my animals alone at all!). My animals were all chilled when I got home which tells me that they have had a great time - and I loved the photos that Richard sent. I’m already planning for 2023 as I can’t bear the thought of leaving them with anyone else now!

Where to even start with Richard! What a genuinely lovely, reliable and caring guy. Couldn't have made my partner and I any more comfortable leaving not only our home but our beloved pets in his hands. Richard helped us out whilst we got married, not only did he offer to bring our Frenchie (Elton) to the venue in a tux for pictures but he also welcomed us home with a bottle of Champagne. What a gent. Provided pictures throughout his stay, asked all the right questions and most importantly you could tell he really cared about our two boys. Will 100% be booking Richard again, no questions asked (fingers crossed we find availability in his diary, this guy is in demand!) Beth & Mark x

If leaving your pet for a few days or a few weeks, for the first or 50th time ever made you nervous - Richard at Paradise4Pets puts you totally at ease within minutes of leaving. The way he treated our boy - who is a bouncy 15 month old Weimaraner with patience, understanding and care. Richard was brilliant and (at times!) was tested. All we received were photos and messages that would put even the most nervous owner at ease. I cannot recommend Richard enough for any length of time you require. Richard stayed late when our train was delayed and made sure we and our boy were settled before leaving. Richard is conscientious and genuine lover of dogs so you feel like you are leaving your dog with a friend not a stranger. We have and will book Richard as soon as any holiday is ever considered in the future as we couldn't imagine leaving our boy with anyone else. Thank you Richard!

We have two large dogs and we've been searching for a suitable pet sitter for a while. They can be quite difficult so we really wanted to find someone who could get to know them. We've never used a pet sitter before so we felt quite unsure about the entire arrangement. Well, we were basically letting a complete stranger stay in our house! Luckily, we were extremely fortunate to find Richard and from the first meeting we simply knew that we won't find a better person to look after both our dogs and the house in our absence. Richard looked after our dogs for one week and we have already pre-booked him for a few future dates. I'm pretty sure that our dogs were quite disappointed when we got back as they had such a brilliant companion in Richard for the entire time. He also ensured that we were kept up to date with everything, sending us daily updates and doggie selfies :) You really need to meet Richard in person to properly appreciate his knowledge, professionalism, attention to details and to see how much he loves dogs. He is extremely thorough with all new clients and will answer any questions that you may have (no matter how silly they may be). He will also guide you and advise you on the best way to arrange everything to ensure that you can enjoy your time away knowing that your pets are in great hands. I have no hesitation in recommending Paradise4Pets to anyone if you are looking for a brilliant pet sitter who will look after your pets and your property just as if they were their own.

I felt fortunate to have found a house sitter like Richard. He came around to meet our little brood Greta and cats - Ted and Seb to learn about their routines. He was knowledgeable and had a passion for our animals. On his first visit, I found him to be a meticulous, experienced and genuinely loving pet sitter. Ted was very nervous at first but quickly warmed up to Richard in no time. Richard sent me updates (pictures & videos) throughout the day which made me rest assure my little cherubs were in good hands. I had a relaxing holiday because Richard took care of Greta, Ted and Seb as if they were his own. I got Richard a small thank you gift while on holiday because I was truly impressed. I have nothing but praise for Richard. Will definitely recommend and use again.

We were so lucky to find Richard when we had to go to the USA at short notice. Our Border Terrier boys, Ollie and Woody, usually come away with us, so we didn't have a network of sitters, kennels etc to call on. He came to meet us all and find out about the Boys routines, feeding, foibles etc. He asked questions we wouldn't have thought about! By the time he left we felt he was someone we had known for ages. It was nice to know that although we weren't there, the Boys were in their own surroundings with their normal routines. And I'm sure they had more walks than normal! We had daily updates, photos and videos, which meant we didn't miss them too much. Richard looked after our pond fish and wild bird feeders too. Nothing was too much trouble for him. We would definitely ask Richard to move in again if we ever needed to leave the Boys. Can't promise it will happen for you ----- but we had a very nice edible treat waiting for us when arrived home tired and hungry from travelling. So thoughtful :)

What an amazing service !! At no point did I ever feel away from my dog as Richard always kept me updated and it was a pleasure to see that my dexter was enjoying himself …. Excellent service. Was away for a long weekend and They looked after our 2 dogs, marine aquarium and home. Has excellent knowledge with the fish and corals. We forgot to show where the fish food was and he went out and got some more for them. The dogs weed twice a day and we received videos of the fun they were having. The feeding was no problem as some have problems with raw feeding. Everything was perfect on our return. With no trace of someone else staying there. Well that's a lie it was tidier.🤭 Will definitely be using them again thank you.

We also get fantastic ‘pupdates’ during his walks, which always brighten our day. It’s clear Bear is well cared for and truly enjoys every moment with them. Couldn’t recommend Abz Pets enough!”

We had Abz looking after our kitten whilst we went away for a couple of weeks and she did t a great job! She sent pictures and written updates to us everyday and we could see how happy he was being looked after by Abz. She’s a natural with animals and ours definitely love her! Very professional and we felt safe having her come into our home without us there! Thank you !!

Abbie has looked after my two Bengal cats on a number of occasions. She’s fantastic, reliable, great with the cats and keeps me fully updated with photos whenever she visits. One of the cats needs regular medication, which Abbie administers really conscientiously. Abbie kindly goes “above and beyond” the pet care as well, helpfully taking in parcels, moving bins etc. My cats are happy because they can stay at home whilst we are away. I’m happy because my furry overlords are happy! I really highly recommend Abz Pets

Abbie has been amazing with our 2 dogs, weekly walks, pop ins and a 10 day sitting this summer. They adore her and Oliver and are so excited for their walks when she arrives. A true animal lover, she is brilliant with our nervous rescue and other more boisterous boy. Highly recommend Abz Pets (but please don’t book her up as we want her 😂).

The service offered by Abbie and her son Oliver is professional and reliable. I know my dogs, fish and house keys are in very safe hands with people who genuinely love all animals. We have used Abz Pets twice now and we couldn't be more happier with the service we have received. My cats, frosty and Yoda took to Abbey really well. Abbie looked after our pets while we were away recently and we have no hesitation in recommending her as a pet lover and trustworthy person. Every day she kept us up to date with her daily visits with a picture message. Also the house was being visited so this also takes a worry off you when away. Teddys honestly is doggy heaven on earth! My two absolutely love coming! Such a lovely environment and they are truly a part of the family. I highly recommend Teddy’s Dog Care. When we went on holiday for a fortnight this summer we sent our precious cavapoo Phoebe there to stay. We were a bit apprehensive, but only because we hadn’t left her for so long before, we trusted Michelle as she treats her boarders with such loving care. Michelle provided us with regular updates along with amazing pics which reassured us that our doggy was definitely having a fabulous time, in fact I don’t think she wanted to come home!

Teddys is fantastic. The owner Michelle is so lovely & friendly. Our Labrador always came back waggy tailed & tired! Prices are fair & the photos Michelle takes are adorable. We loved seeing how happy Daisy was with her doggy pals. Would highly recommend :)

What a find! Teddy’s Dog Care (Michelle) is amazing, my dog absolutely loves visiting and I can relax knowing he is in very safe hands. Michelle is a very honest, kind and caring person who genuinely puts her dog first. I have a very nervous dog (of people and other dogs) and he is slow to adapt to new situations. Michelle understands this and works with him to help him settle and to ensure he is happy at all times. He also has a life threatening condition which means regular medication 3 x daily which Michelle administers with no problem. I also love the fact that she only ever has small dogs to stay with her meaning that for my dog (and for my peace of mind) play time is fun rather than scary! The daily updates I receive are also very reassuring for me as I can see he is fit and healthy – and having far more fun than he does at home watching me work! I won’t leave him anywhere else and can’t speak highly enough of Teddy’s Dog Care. Michelle thank you so much!

Michelle and Tina at Teddy's are amazing! I've had my dogs there for walks, boarding and day care, and every time my dogs are SO excited to see Michelle and Tina, literally don't want to come home sometimes! I am a very nervous doggy momma and I completely trust them in these guys' care. My favourite thing is they see each dog as a person/character and not just a dog, and that counts for a lot to me - love these guys and will continue to use them for many many years to come x

Gary transported our Italian Greyhound puppy this week. I was incredibly impressed with the service from start to finish. Throughout the process Gary was extremely responsive, knowledgable and professional. He communicated regularly with both myself and our breeder and demonstrated a genuine interest in the welfare of our puppy, ensuring that he was kept warm, comfortable and settled during the journey. The added bonuses were that I was able to track his location throughout the transport, his prices were very competitive and he sent us a beautiful photo of our puppy after the journey. Thank you Gary, if I ever needed a pet transported again you would be my first choice and I would have no hesitation action in recommending you to others.

Gary is a fantastic dog walker, our dog absolutely loves his walks with him. Gary will often take amazing photos of Hudson whilst out and about, and will also update us as to his development and behaviour so we know how he’s getting on. Gary is very knowledgeable about dogs and obviously loves spending time with them, and is very patient but firm which is great for us as we’re new to owning a puppy. I would absolutely recommend Gary to anyone needing a trustworthy dog walker.

I used Northampton Dog Walker's pet transport service. Five stars!! Gary is very professional. He picked up my 8 week puppy from Liverpool and delivered to me in London safely. The price is very reasonable. The communication with Gary is very smooth. I would definitely use his service again if I need to and highly recommend him to anyone who needs a safe pet transport.

Gary recently brought our corgi puppy home for us from the breeder in Wales as we couldn't get do him during lockdown. Gary responded very quickly to my initial enquiry, and was flexible on dates to best suit us and the breeder. He was very helpful throughout, sharing information with us and using Google maps to share his live location so we could track progress when we wanted to. Fantastic service at a great price. Would definitely recommend and use his services again! Edit: I should add that puppy of course arrived safely, calm and happy despite a long journey!! Very pleased

Our pup loves his outings with Gary, who clearly knows his stuff and has been really helpful giving us tips for life with a new dog. Gary is always prompt, friendly and really ensures our dog has a happy outing when we’re unable to take him in the day. It’s been great to see the dog develop bonds with other dogs on his walks with Gary, which means he’s growing up really well socialised. Would highly recommend.

Gary walked our dog whilst I was waiting for and recovering from a hip operation. He was reliable, friendly, calm and thoroughly knowledgable about anything to do with looking after dogs. The photos he took of my dog were beautiful, top quality...this was an added extra that just happens to be his hobby. I can highly recommend his service . He is so accommodating and flexible. If I need the other hip replacing ( hope not) I will be back on the phone !!!

We have two large lively dogs who have really warmed to Gary. He came to our home to meet the boys a few times before even considering taking them out. He produced up to date DBS and insurance certificates without even being asked. Our boys have very different personalities and enjoy doing different things when they are out and Gary is very attentive to this. He sends me updates after every walk and has taken some gorgeous photographs of them (of which he had asked prior permission). As well as all this, he is great value for money! I have had Zena walking my dog Fleur when I had to start going back into London working. Fleur loves Zena and always looks forward to her walks, whether it’s out with other dogs or just a 121 walk, Zena makes it fun for the dogs in her care. During the recent heat wave, Zena collected Fleur early each day to ensure she and the other dogs being walked were out before the day got too hot but also made sure that each day their walk was round water ensuring they were able to cool down if getting hot. I also get regular videos and pictures of Fleurs walks. A very professional and excellent service which I have no hesitation in recommending. Helen

Zena walks our dog Oscar on a regular basis. We are at a stage of which Oscar knows her name too well and is over the moon when she arrives. He is basically in love! Oscar is a lovely Lab who is absolutely full of beans and excitable by nature. Zena has been amazing with him. She helped him to gain confidence and he now enjoys walking with other dogs. Gary was excellent from the moment I called to enquire to the moment we picked our dog Thomas up. We had been let down by a dog sitter who was due to have our dog over Easter weekend and we only had a few days to make alternative arrangements. Gary was friendly and professional when I rang to enquire about availability and after checking the dates, rang me straight back to confirm. We were welcomed to visit with Thomas to ensure it felt right. Thomas was able to meet Archie (the family dog) and suss out the home. It was clear that Thomas would be happy there. On the day we dropped Thomas off Gary went through questions with us about Thomas and really made us feel sure he would be looked after well. Gary emailed several times over the weekend to update us on how he was getting on. Alongside the emails, we were sent beautiful photographs of Thomas which were a really lovely extra. We picked Thomas up and it was clear that he had been well cared for and had felt really comfortable. We would highly recommend the services of The Northampton Dog Walker and will be using Gary the next time we go away. Thank you so much.

Utterly appalled. I arrived to drop off 4 guinea pigs and asked to see where the guineas would be staying - surely what any owner would expect. Unbelievably, this was refused. The owner (Edward) was rude and unhelpful. I literally could not believe what I was hearing. As a result of this nonsense I have had to cancel a trip to see my 90 year old mother in Scotland. I wonder what they are trying to hide.

Julia has looked after our cats several times now. The last time was an emergency booking with only a few hours notice. I'd definitely recommend :-)

I’m leaving a big 5 star for Julia & Edward at skittering pig, they are kind and caring and have been doing home visits for my cats for a long time, when my little girl Twinkle went to heaven (aged nearly 24) I was broken hearted, Julia put a beautiful post on face book, sent us flowers a card and some seeds to plant in remembrance, I was very touched it was a beautiful gesture. She continues to look after my younger cat Rosie who loves to greet her and Edward and when I’m away and I’m at ease with the knowledge that my cat is fed, litter tray cleaned and fussed a lot ❤️ Would 100% recommend. Skittering Pig offers a fantastic service for both our guinea pigs and cats while we go on holiday. The owner Julia is friendly and very accommodating, because of this we have used Skittering Pig time and time again and have recommended to all our local friends who have small furries. Julia is a genuine pet lover and goes out of her way to provide the best service possibly for her clients and pets. Our animals love Julia looking after them and are always thoroughly pampered.

Julia has looked after our rabbit a number of times now - she makes it so easy to go on holiday! H is well looked after, groomed, entertained and very well fed - and Julia is a delight to know as she will go out of her way to accommodate you and your pet. I will definitely use Skittering Pig again and highly recommend Julia's services.

I have been using this excellent company to look after my guinea pigs for the past three years. Julia is thoroughly professional and really cares for our pets they get totally pampered and beautifully cared for when we are away and I have no hesitation in recommending her. "Not a client of ours" yes we were, untill we caught you out by turning up a day early to collect the animals as you had the dates wrong, and we realised you clean them out on day of collection to make it look better, rather than actually doing it through the duration of the stay. And a whole tub of hamster food used in 10 days, and then you fed him guinea pig food.... Denying poor reviews is really not a good look Julia.

Absolutely fantastic company!! There are very few people I would trust to care for my house rabbits because other companies use small cages or will only keep them outside. Skittering pig offered so much space and time hopping around the downstairs room for them while they stayed! They let me specify exactly what should and shouldn’t be fed and what bedding I wanted (I’m quite particular about their care!). They provided loads of toys for them to play with and they even got presents when they stayed over at Christmas!! I can’t recommend this company highly enough. It’s clear that the love what they do and the animals they care for are the highest priority! Thank you for always taking such good care of my bunnies.

Just got home from a child’s 7th birthday party which Andrea was booked for the animal encounter experience. What can I say other than she was amazing! Very friendly, spoke to the children well and engaged with them. Very knowledgeable on the animals she had with her and allowing the children and adults to hold/stroke or just admire from a safe distance. A really enjoyable hour and my son loved it. I’d highly recommend this to others!

Andrea is extremely efficient and flexible assisting us twice now and this last time at extremely short notice. She attends to the needs of our multiple animals with a confident ease which includes love and attention. Andrea also takes the time to communicate with us at our request giving us peace of mind all is well whilst we are away. Thank you very much Andrea, a first class service.

We booked Andrea for a Children’s Party, she was amazing. With Iggy, Hermione, Elvis, Snowy, Pascal, Evie and Angus and the Madagascan dudes, 20+ 5 year olds were kept rapt for over an hour of fun, interaction and animal facts. All could be handled except for Pascal who nonetheless was an exceptional character and a favourite of all the kids. Andrea and her team do a great job of keeping everyone engaged and the animals and children safe throughout. Thoroughly recommended, worth every penny and very much a “core memory” for my son.

All was going well, and our golden retriever puppy has been left with Andrea once a week since we had him. However he came home very distressed this week and Andrea explained he's been chewing her coffee table. The 9 month old puppy hasn't ever chewed anything other than his toys. We are mortified and looking at the damage can only assume he was left alone for a period of time to do so much damage. Left alone at a time when we were paying for a service to look after him. We were charged for the damage and Golden had the option of being "expelled" from his doggy day care or being crated when left alone. Our Golden won't be going back.

Andrea brought a selection of animals to my daughters 8th birthday party and was a hit with both the kids and the adults!! Andrea is very knowledgable and has so many facts, the children were all completely engaged and had a great time handling them! Thank you so much, you were a perfect addition to our daughters party!

Andrea looked after my staff/ pit cross whilst I holidayed in Jamaica, if I'm honest I was hesitant to leave Bert with anyone he didn't already know, but after speaking to Andrea and seeing her passion and expertise, whilst she won Bert over on their very first meeting, I felt 100% at ease leaving my boy with her, to this day if we see Andrea on our walks or pass her house Bert still pulls to meet her. 5/5 I 100% recommend.

Andrea hosted a brilliant party for our daughter and her friends for her 9th birthday. Andrea kept both children and adults really interested throughout with her fantastic animals and the knowledge she shared about them. She was really patient with the children whilst they handled some of her animals and it was just what our daughter wanted, thank you!

Andrea's knowledge of the animals she owns is second to none - my son thinks she is amazing, and wants to be just like her when he grows up!! He is looking forward to booking her for his birthday party, so he can see all the animals again, including the chinchilla, the gecko and the snakes - he is captivated when she talks about the animals, and would love to own as many as she does!!

Andrea has our two dogs every time we go away & they love going to her. One of our dogs is very sensitive & she is so great with him, really makes him feel secure, gives him loads of attention & fun so he forgets about us while we’re away! We wouldn’t send them anywhere else now.

Andrea was so helpful and professional when looking after my cat, Bonnie. It was so lovely and helpful to have daily updates every day whilst I was away. I will always use Andrea in the future and would highly recommend her as I feel Bonnie was well looked after and safe.

Sammy has just had his first holiday at Maddie's and I can't thank Shelley and her crew enough for making him feel at home from home. He has previously stayed in kennels but he is 8 now and we felt he deserved some comfort while we went on holiday. The pre-stay visits were great for making sure Shelley and the other dogs got to know Sammy, and that he would be comfortable there. And by the time we dropped him off for his holiday, he was chomping at the bit to see his friends again. I didn't once worry that Sammy wasn't ok whilst we were away, as we received daily "pupdates" showing us how he was getting on and what he was up to. We could see from the photos and videos that he was happy and felt safe. The care and attention he received was as good if not better than at home. Before his stay Sammy hadn't really socialised with other dogs and we weren't sure how he would be, but he soon got stuck in at playtime and was leading the walks. I would highly recommend Maddie's and will definitely be booking Sammy in next time we go away.

Before I contacted Maddies home from home I did a lot of research as I had been rushed into hospital in January and had to leave my poor dog at boarding without even seeing it, I was worried the whole time in hospital about my dear little girl and couldn’t wait to collect her and I was determined to find a home from home boarding. I researched several but Maddies came out on top so I contacted Shelley and we meet up for a sniff test with my little girl and the rest of her dogs. Wow how thorough and professional her whole business is. I was very impressed and we arranged a sleepover, I was very anxious to be leaving my girl again but Shelley sent me regular pup dates which put my mind at ease. I was once again taken into hospital so I contacted Shelley to see if she could look after my little girl at short notice and she was there for me again. My stay in hospital was so much better knowing she was being cared for and regular pup dates made my stay in hospital bearable. My little girl loved her stay at Maddies and always had lots to occupy her and lots of walks. I can’t recommend and thank Shelley enough for looking after my little girl it really is home from home.

This was Elsy’s first 2 week stay at Maddie’s and she was so looked after ! Lots of daily updates with videos and photographs. The walks all looked amazing. Shelley was very professional, caring and so loving to Elsy. Really really pleased I found such a brilliant home boarding stay for Elsy to go. Have booked many more stays for her in the coming months. Thank you for all your help and amazing attention to detail.

Teddy is cared for 100%+ whilst I go away on holiday. It's a real home from home boarding. It's peace of mind knowing he is in safe hands. Shelley makes the separation easier for me and Teddy settles. Lots of attention given to the dogs in her care. Walkies, hugs, playtime and groomed. I enjoy the photos and videos sent daily. I collected Teddy after 12 days. He's fit, healthy and no kennel cough. So pleased I was recommended Maddies home boarding & day care. I have never been disappointed. Thank you Maddie & Shelley.

Ninja has been expertly looked after by Shelley for the past three years with a mix of boarding and day care. I now have two dogs that both go regularly and they don't even look back to me when they see Shelley. It really is a home from home with personalised and loving care. Highly recommend!

Shelley and Maddie’s house is doggie heaven. Robbie felt right at home and he was clearly happy to be there. As a nervous Doggy-Mum, Shelley really put me at ease and I felt comfortable leaving him with her. Highly recommended.

Working full time we were a bit stuck when my Mum had an accident and we had to look after her dog, Chester, for a few month's. We couldn't have chosen better with Maddie's. It is certainly a home from home, but even more than that - the dogs get great enrichment, exercise and socialisation everyday. I would not hesitate to recommend Maddie's to anyone looking for doggy care or boarding for their beloved furmily member.

Kim has been taking care of our cat Neil when we go away for 6 years now and does a great job for a reasonable cost. We love the updates and photos she sends and I think Neil may now prefer her to us! Can't recommend highly enough. Professional, friendly and very obliging to even a short notice request.

We've been using Kim's pet sitting service for around a year now. She came highly recommended, and her support has been amazing. She regularly sends pics of our cats while we're away, and the cats are always in good form when we return - they seem to have enjoyed the break from us! I love that the cats can stay at home when we're away, and I trust Kim to do the right thing for them at all times. She's really well organised with regards to diary, billing and so on, and her prices are very reasonable. Definitely a happy customer!

I'm so glad I've got Pattishall Pet Sitting in my life! Kim first looked after my pair of very shy cats in February, and since then she's done so a few more times when I've gone away for short breaks or just overnight. I use Pattishall Pet Sitting several times a year. I can go away knowing that my boy is safe, well looked after and that Kim will spoil him even when he is being a grump. She cares about each and everyone of her furry clients. Have used PPS for years and have recommended to family who now also use. No hesitation in recommending.

We have been using Kim to look after our cats for years and wouldn't even consider using anyone else. She takes great care of our cats and they really like her despite being very shy around most people! She is always very responsive to messages and she has even been able to help us with last minute bookings when we have needed them.

Kim took care of our cat for two weeks and we were extremely pleased with her. Our cat is very timid, always hiding whenever any person outside the family entered our house. However, Kim managed to earn her trust and approach her, keeping us updated constantly and making sure our kitten was well. We cannot recommend her enough! Kim was absolutely amazing, when we took our guinea pigs to her she had their set up ready and we chatted for a while about all her other current and past pets. Joe is extremely friendly and great with dogs. Our shihtzu is always scared of meeting new people and we were so impressed with how well Joe handled him. He’s very responsible, always showed up on time, and kept us up to date via text. Honestly I couldn’t trust anyone more with my dog. We opted for the doggy daycare, and Joe offers pick up and drop of service, which is very convenient. Highly recommend! 5 star service all around.

We’ve been using Joe for the past 3 years for our Whippet. Joe looks after him during the week whilst we are both at work and overnight when we are on holidays. Our dog always comes home in a great mood after socialising with other dogs and getting exercise. Great peace of mind to know that our dog is in great hands with Joe when we can’t be at home. We first met Joe when our new puppy was too young to go for walks. Joe came to the house to do a puppy check every day until she was able to go outside. Dottie loves Joe and so do we. Dottie is collected by Joe every weekday and goes off with lots of excitement and a wagging tale for her afternoon walk. We trust Joe completely he is a real dog lover and treats all dogs in his care as if they were his own. When we go on holiday Dottie goes on holiday too, to Joe’s house and loves every minute of it. I honestly don’t know what we would have done without him for the last 5 years. I can’t praise him enough and recommend if you need a dog walker you use Joe at Stone’s Pet Services.

From the moment we met Joe, we knew our dog Bonnie was in great hands. Bonnie was with Joe (both for walks and doggy daycare) since she was a puppy and really looked upon him like family. There are not enough words to express how much we would recommend Stone's Pet Services. Joe is one of the nicest people you could meet. He is brilliant with our dog Milo who is a funny little boy at times. Milo loves him and can't wait to get out of the car when we drop him off. Stone's Pet Service is the go to place for your dog walking/day care needs. We wouldn't trust anyone else with our boy Milo.

We have used Stone's Pet Services for years, purely because our dog wouldn't settle in a kennels. He provides a home from home service so that the dogs feel comfortable and at ease whilst you are away. Poppy is always so excited to see him when she is collected and is well looked after! (she is usually a nervy dog). I would definitely recommend this service for people that don't want to leave their dog in a kennels whilst they are away.

We started using Joe when we got our first dog poppy over 3 years ago. As we were first time dog owners we felt hesitant to leave her with anyone but Joe was great. We honestly dont think we could’ve found anyone better. 3 years on and another dog later, we still wouldn’t trust anyone else with our babies. Thank you Joe.

Joe is amazing! He knows how to look after our dog Nehru who can be a bit of a handful at times and even got him to learn a good recall. We never have any concerns leaving our dog with Joe everyday and even give him our house keys so that he can let himself in when we are both at work. Nehru loves him to bits and when we went on holiday he stayed for a few days with Joe (right by his bedside!). Joe also is the one of the most reliable walkers we have come across; even when he is on holiday (for his honeymoon), he tells you well in advance and even suggests alternatives. We can't recommend Joe highly enough.

Having a rescue dog and pup, I was skeptical about being about to find someone who would look after my babies as I do. From the initial meet Gary understand my dogs and listened to them. Garry has really put me at ease with regular updates and adorable photos, when I am not home. You can tell from the photos my dogs adore Garry. Fantastic communication and easy booking.

Gary has looked after my elderly dog and 3 cats twice this year and I've been more than happy with his services. The animals seem happy too! I receive regular updates and fabulous photos so can relax knowing they're all being taken care of.

Gary was amazing with our rescue dog Ava. She can be a bit of a challenge and Gary was brilliant, it was such a relief to have her with someone we knew Ava would be safe with. Gary sent us updates and photos everyday about how she was doing. Thank-you so much!

Gary has been great with Zach and understanding of his needs and limitations being an older dog. Zach is always happy to see him and comes back tired after having fun on his walk, also get amazing photos.

Gary came to visit me & my dog at home when I enquired about home boarding. He immediately had a good connection with my dog and informed me of the jobs he does & showed me his insurance paperwork. After a good discussion I booked him to look after my dog for two nights. I was pretty anxious as I’d never left her before, let alone with someone I didn’t know. I shouldn’t have been as Gary sent regular, amazing photos of my dog both at home & whilst out for a walk and updated me to what she was doing. Once I returned home we had a full debrief of how she’d been, where she slept, what she’d eaten etc. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Gary again.

Gary has always been brilliant with out animals - walking our previous dog Diesel (who wasn't a fan of other dogs) and now sitting for our bulldog Buster and two cats; he takes perfect care of them all and fantastic pictures to boot! If you need pet sitting, pet walking or a brilliant pet photoshoot, Gary can do it all! Recommended without hesitation.

Gary looked after our fluffy girl (in heat) over the Christmas period which allowed us to go away for a break. It was short notice arranging too as our regular sitter cancelled so we are super grateful! We were so thankful to receive regular (almost daily) updates and amazing photos!
