Thank you so much to Jacques and Reg for the amazing care to my three babies every time I’ve travelled. Jacques was also very kind, going the absolutely extra mile when my baby Bruno passed away. Bringing him to me to say a final goodbye and then answering all my queries and worries. Bruno came back to me in the most beautiful box and you could see he was well looked after in his passing as much as he was in his life. I’m very lucky to have found a pet sitter that really cares! Jacques from Animals at Home Southampton is absolutely brilliant and took excellent care of my rabbits while I was away. I came to her literally two days before I was going away as someone else had let me down last minute and even though it was such short notice, she found the time to visit them for me twice a day while I was away. She saved me from having to cancel my trip and the rabbits were looked after exactly as I had asked. I was kept regularly updated so I knew what the rabbits were up to while I was away too. I highly recommend Animals at Home Southampton to anyone who is looking for someone to take care of their beloved companion animals while they're away.

The Animals at Home team did a absolutely great job in caring for my cat (Luna) while I was away. Constant updates, videos and photos which honestly improved my holiday away, as I was worried about the leaving her. Luna is an indoor cat and has never been in a cattery, I'm so glad I decided to go with Animals at Home instead, as I think a cattery would of just really stressed her out in comparison. I highly recommend Animals at Home and will be using them again!

Jacques looked after Ozzy while we were away for 2 weeks and what an amazing time he had, Jacques sent us lots of updates and pictures so we knew he was having a good time. Would highly recommend Jacques and will definitely be using her for future holidays/breaks.

Jacques has been providing exceptional care for my animals since I moved to Southampton, and when the heartbreaking moment came to say goodbye to my beloved hamster, Sushi, I knew I could turn to her for support. Both Katie and Jacques showed incredible kindness, compassion, and professionalism in helping me arrange Sushi's cremation. Sushi was treated with the utmost respect, and everything—from the collection to her return home—was handled with such care and love. During this overwhelmingly sad time, knowing that Sushi was in safe, gentle hands brought me immense comfort. I can't thank you enough for everything you've done for little Sushi—it means the world to me.

Amazing service. We had to have our beautiful German Shepherd put to sleep recently and Jacques and Miles were so kind when they came to collect him for cremation, it made it just a little more bearable knowing he was in safe hands. Everything was arranged easily and we were kept updated until Jacques brought his ashes back home to us. Would highly recommend :)

Jacques and Miles were so so kind after the loss of our beautiful boy Mr Meow. They went out of their way to come and collect him on a Sunday night and he was home with us by Friday in a beautiful box with his paw prints. Due to work unexpected work commitments we needed a walker for out puppy Maisie on short notice and Justine was fantastic. She came and visited the day before to meet the dog and run through the details. She sent photos updating us and it seems like Maisie had a fantastic time. Will definitely use her services again when we require a walker.

I was abroad for a week and needed some daytime company for my dog, as no one else would be around until the evening. Justine came and spent time with her every day and took her on some walks with other dogs. I felt so calm and confident that my dog was being taken care of while I was away. I have a grumpy rescue dog, who can be difficult. Her previous dog walker refused to walk her any more. Then I found Lush Pets. My dog has been with this dog walker 2 years or so. I have nothing but praise for her; she really takes time to understand the dogs in her care. My dog is completely happy going for her walks. No complaints, no concerns, just gratitude. Since Jackie has been walking my Cocker Spaniel Jessie. She is a much happier healthier dog. She now comes back on demand which she never used to do. She is fully satisfied by the walk she is given.both mentally and physically. She has become much easier for my family to walk. Jessie is always very happy to see Jackie. Home from home and I would recommend Jackie and Gary to anyone who wants their dogs loved and expertly cared for while they are away . Hector our miniature schnauzer has been on his holidays with them for 4years now and his brother Hugo joined in the fun 3 years ago .They know when we are near Jackie’s house and pull to get in to be cuddled by them . I left my two schnauzers with Jackie and Gary for a week holiday and I was absolutely delighted with the care they provided for them, I was very nervous but my mind was quickly put to rest with regular updates, the dogs had a lovely time and I was so happy they had one to one attention, I will have no hesitation leaving them again.

We have been using Laura's pet sitting services for a few years now and would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter. Laura has always been able to accommodate requirements for our cat, rabbit and guinea pigs and nothing is ever too much trouble. We can go away for the weekend or longer knowing our animals will be in safe hands and not having to put them through the stress of going to a cattery.

Laura was extremely attentive first in knowing about us, the needs of our cats and the cats quirky aspects. Both our cats can be cautious with strangers but bonded quickly to her. The regular updates and pics we got through emails left you feeling happy in the knowledge they were in safe hands, well cared for and all in their own environment. We came home to two extremely happy and playful cats. Would highly recommend the services offered and will definitely be using again.

Laura has been great at looking after our cat whenever we are away. She’s trustworthy, reliable and has lots of experience with animals. When our cat has had medical needs she has attended to these with compassion and competence. I have no hesitation in recommending her services.

If you want a professional, efficient and caring cat sitter, then look no further than Laura at Safe and Snug. From the initial meet and greet to the mid week update when you are away and then the final report you couldn’t get a better service. We booked Laura for 8 days and we knew during that time our cat Rocky would want to go out and disappear for a few days (which we made her aware of) and he did just that. Laura made the point of returning to see if he was there and asked to be kept informed of when he returned which we did when he finally ambled through the door. Laura clearly cares about what she does and likes to know the individual needs of the cat she’s looking after. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Laura and would definitely use her again. Laura looked after our cats twice a day for three weeks while we were on honeymoon. We had regular updates and came back to some very happy cats. It was really reassuring knowing Laura was looking after them as we were away for so long. The cats liked her, she was really reliable and we would definitely book her again. Thank you!

We have used Laura countless times now to look after our 2 cats (both getting on in years so don't want to put them in a cattery), we cannot fault Laura's care & go away safe in the knowledge they are being well looked after. She maintains regular contact when we're away including photos & keeps an accurate detailed diary of each day recording how the cats were, how much they ate etc. Add to that the little extras such as collecting up the post & turning lights on & off on request so the house doesn't appear empty while away - I can't recommend highly enough.

Never had a problem with Laura. She takes care of my cats when I go away and I trust her totally. Have used Laura (safe and snug) for a good 5 years +. I know my cats trust her. She gives updates and post pics of my cats on Facebook which is a nice touch when away.

We’ve been using Laura for the last 3 years - wish we’d have thought about this sooner as we’d been using catteries for 12 years previous. Although the cattery did everything it was supposed to do, our cats hated it...We now go on holiday knowing that the cats are well looked after and are happy. Laura provides regular updates. Wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Laura and Safe and Snug.

Me and my partner love Laura’s company. She truely cares about the animals she looks after and nothing is ever too much bother. She will happily send you updates and photos of your pet while you are away. I feel safe in knowing my babies are well looked after when I am not around. We have been using Laura's pet sitting service for our 2 cats for over 3 years now and can't fault her service . We have never put our boys into a cattery as we prefer them to be in their own home . Laura keeps us updated with photo's / emails and always leaves us a day to day diary of their routine . Anything your pets need is not too much trouble from feeding , medication , grooming and general fussing . We have also in the last couple of months had evening visits from hedgehogs who we have been feeding and during our last holiday Laura has been looking after the extra guests as well . We have every faith in our boys / house being well looked after whenever is needed . Look no further if you want your pets looked after and happy while you are away .

Mark has been walking my dog Teddy (large toy poodle) for over 3 years now and he is absolutely brilliant. As a puppy Teddy was initially a little wary of going out with a new person but Mark was fantastic with him. In no time Teddy was bouncing out of the door and he still gets VERY excited when he hears Mark’s van. Mark takes care to consider which dogs’ personalities and energy levels would fit best on their walks and takes them to an amazing variety of places - lucky dogs! He takes such good care of them and always has water etc on hand. On top of that, Mark sends great photos - it’s a lovely bonus to be able to see Teddy having a great time. I feel so lucky that we found Mark and really can’t recommend him highly enough.

Mark has walked my dog for a few years now and you get so much more than just a “normal” walk. He takes Wilbur all over the place, not always just a boring stomp around a local park, and I know my beloved hound is really looked after. My dog is always brought back clean (and tired!), despite being an absolute bog hunter! Cannot recommend Mark enough, his enthusiasm for ensuring the dogs have an enjoyable time is fabulous.

Highly recommended for cat sitting. It was lovely to go away for a week & not worry about our 2 cats knowing that Mark was in twice a day to feed them & ensure they were safe & well. We were sent pictures & updates which was great. We have used pet sitters before & Mark is without doubt the best we have had & it's great to have a pet sitter we can trust for when we go away again.

Mark is our dog's favourite person. Since Murphy was 3 months, Mark has been helping us look after him when we're at work. When we go on holiday, Murphy looks forward to being at Mark's for a few days. He and Klaudia are lifesavers, and we would be lost without them. We cannot recommend them enough

I can thoroughly recommend Mark Bissett of Furry Tails Walks after he looked after my Cavapoo Tilly for 2 weeks whilst I was away. She enjoyed herself so much and is looking forward to her next Doggy Day Care. He cared for her within his family home and for those two weeks she became a contented member of his family. She met many other furry friends and had countless adventures during their daily walks. He sent me photos of her on a daily basis which greatly put my mind at ease whilst I was away. Thank you so much for looking after her and for taking away any concerns I had for her during this time. This was her first time away from me since I brought her home as a puppy at 8 weeks old. I'm surprised she was happy to see me, thankfully she has settled in back home and is dreaming of her next adventures with Mark.

My cockapoo has been with Mark since he was 6 months old and he absolutely adores his weekly walks with him. Can’t recommend Mark highly enough.

A second home to my dog Basil. They have done so much for him and me over the years. They helped change my dog from a scared rescue dog to the happy confident dog he is today.

We don't give them an easy task leaving them to look after our year old excitable Newfoundland but he absolutely loves going there and always comes back exhausted from all the play. Here he is 3 hours after getting home from daycare showing what he probably does to them all day, lying in the most inconvenient place he can find.

Carol is fabulous! Our Reggie was well looked after, pampered and very happy when he came home. He looked great and had a lovely time playing with the other dogs and humans. They are lovely people with a real passion for dogs and their care. Thanks so much for looking after our boy!

Carol and co are lovely, and absolutely brilliant at accommodating both my needs and my precious doggy’s needs- we couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Our dog has been visiting Carol since she was a tiny puppy, as we were keen to get her socialised during lockdown. Carol has been providing holiday boarding for our dog for five years and used to have him for doggie daycare as well. She also provides a "walk from home" service that we have used on many occasions. Carol and her team are devoted to their charges. They assess each dog client individually and tailor the care according to need, showing excellent understanding in my experience (being a small animal vet for 40+ years.) Our rescue dog came with many problems but going to Carol to learn acceptable dog behaviour in a supervised pack situation has been incredibly helpful in his training. He now goes there as a second home, leaving us free to enjoy a stress-free holiday. Thank you, Team!

Have not personally used their services with our dog, however we had some enquiries and discovered that they employ a body of staff, which we decided wasn't for us as we wanted a personal touch for our pooch. Today I overheard one of their staff members shouting at one of the dogs they were "Caring" for and said "you are my least favourite dog". Between the lack of consistency of staff members looking after the dogs and one particular person who didn't really show their "least favourite dog" a particularly "caring" service I would probably recommend looking elsewhere at some of the other fantastic dog carers in the area.

Been using this business for years with our dogs. They love going. They are currently boarding this weekend. They enjoy it so much and get spoilt so much that they sulk when they have to come home.

I cannot recommend Sue, her approach to looking after the animals and her wonderful premises, highly enough. She is a real find. She feeds them only the best (has recommended me to where she gets lovely hays) and her free-roaming garden and Omlet large runs give each pet more than ample space. She has a lovely kind nature about herself and is very easy to communicate with, even sending me update photos of my rabbits whilst I was holiday. Thank you Sue and see you in a few weeks!

Sue takes exceptional care of my bunny when we go away on holiday. Her facilities are fabulous. My bunny always has a sulk when he comes home because he's had such a good time running around in Sue's garden. Highly recommended!

Swifts is such a lovely place. We always know that our guinea pigs are well looked after, safe and loved and they always come home very happy. Sue is great - she always takes the time to chat with my children, show them her own guinea pigs which my children love and is happy to offer advice if needed. We would never leave our guinea's with anyone else!! 5 star rating is not high enough. Thanks Sue for taking such good care of our boys over the past three years.

What can I say….. I have been taking my boys to Sue for 10 years now. I really can’t express how wonderful she is. I leave my boys knowing that they are well cared for, cuddled, and loved just like Sue would her own. The best thing is Sue tells me they chat away to her, so they are clearly very comfortable, safe, and loving being on their holidays with her. I highly recommend Sue and wouldn’t consider sending my boys anywhere else xx

Swift Pet Boarding is FANTASTIC. My partner and I were looking for somewhere to give our 2 guineas a holiday whilst we were away and we instantly knew we'd found the best place possible. Sue is so warm and friendly and it's obvious that she loves looking after the animals. We go back to her every time, she's lovely, reasonably priced, and our boys get the best pampering ever. If you need somewhere to go, go to Sue!

We went to Spain for 5 days and at the last minute decided to organise a place for our one year old rabbit Luna to stay. She's been a free-range outdoor bunny for the last six months so we were concerned that we had to pick the right accommodation for her. We contacted Sue to arrange for a viewing prior to us leaving for our holiday and found Sue and her husband to be polite and extremely friendly. We saw the accommodation and a rabbit who was already there, as well as her own guinea pigs, all of which looked very healthy and happy. Sue explained about the daily routine and put our minds at ease regarding Luna's need to be'free-range' 24/7. Sue however wanted to make sure that Luna was tucked away safely at night and had the run of their garden during the day. Her garden had lots of plants and hideaways for Luna to investigate and she looked at home apparently from day 1. Sue sent us a photo of her during our time away to reassure us of this. A big thank you to Sue for looking after our little girl. We would thoroughly recommend this holiday home.

Buttercup and Daisy my rabbits have stayed at Swifts Pet Boarding twice now and both times they have been looked after brilliantly. The facilities are very clean and they get the chance to run around the lovely garden. Sue is lovely as well as letting me know how the girls are enjoying their holiday, she has keep up to date with Buttercups medication. I would highly recommend Swifts Pet Boarding.

I was able to leave my 1 year old rabbit Lola in Sue's expert care while I went away on holiday for 10 days in London. Knowing Lola would be stressed by a long journey I knew it would be better for her to stay in Southampton instead of coming along. It was hard to leave her but when I arrived at Swifts pet boarding I knew I had picked an excellent place. Luckily it is very close by where I live and it was very clean, homey and welcoming. The pets in Sue's care are in clean, spacious and cheerful accommodation both inside and outside and are very calm and content and of course cute! I almost felt like I wanted to stay for a holiday as well! It is lovely to know that if I need to go away again I can use Swifts pet boarding, especially as Lola requires eye drops 3x per day, Sue assured me nothing was too much trouble. When I came to collect her I could see her in her indoor hutch through the door and she was happily munching away on her abundant fresh hay without a care in the world, I'm sure she would have been happy to stay and we had a job to get her back into her travel case. Sue handled her gently and caringly so I can tell she is something of a rabbit whisperer. 10/10 would highly recommend to anyone in need of small pet boarding Thank you Sue 😊 x

I cannot recommend Sue and Swifts Pet Boarding enough. The care given to our Budgie Zurg was amazing. It made us feel very secure in leaving in whilst we went on Holiday.

Always great service from Lottie and Tracey, even though our dog isn't the best behaved!! But they're still willing to have him for boarding and take the very best care of him. Would highly recommend!

When my partner and I moved into a new area and needed to find a dog walker- we couldn’t have been any luckier in finding All the B’s! Our nervous and often reactive Border Collie has transformed with the love, patience and care these guys show her. From the beginning they have been professional, flexible and they love my dog like one of their own. More importantly, my dog loves them right back which tells me all I need to know! Denise and Fitz have looked after my female Maltipoo on multiple occasions. I feel very comfortable leaving her with Denise and often receive cute photo updates. Very much recommend this service.

Denise has looked after JoJo our rescue podenco numerous times and can’t recommend her highly enough. JoJo loves coming to stay with Denise, and is given 5 star care. She goes on lovely long walks and we get updates via photos and text messages as to how she is doing and what mischief she is up to. Denise is very caring and loving to JoJo, what more could you want when you are away or on holiday!

Highly recommend Denise and Fitz, they’re great. My dog loves staying over as he’s always having a wonderful and playful time, which gives me a great peace of mined whilst away on holiday :)

Denise is wonderful. I left my 15/16 year old boarder terrier, Teddy, with her. He has never been left with a family he does not know. So I was a little worried. But I need not have worried. Denise incorporated him into the family and Teddy even took over their dogs bed with no problems. I would highly recommend Denise's dog sitting service.
