My cat spent a couple of weeks at Wharf House Kennels & Cattery. He came back healthier than when we left him. Kim spent time teasing out his matted fur and making sure he was loved as if he was home. She is very knowledgeable and gave me some useful diet tips as my cat has a sensitive tummy. She made everything so easy for me prior to my holiday, making sure not only that my cat was happy, but also reassured me. The chalets are lovely and secluded from the canines in a beautiful blooming garden, with lots of interest for cats and it was adapted to make it easier for him, as he is an older cat. When I came to collect, Kim and her family spoke about my boy as if they had known his personality all his life. Genuinely seemed to have loved having him. I could not have asked for anything more. Completely delightful service, we will not look anywhere else again. Thank you

I live near these kennels. if you think your dog is well looked after here whilst you are on your hols let me tell you all they do is bark non stop for the fortnight your away. Non stop, hour after hour, day after day, no walks, no nothing, just barking. Still you've had a nice time eh? Dog loving wasters.

My cat stayed here for a week and, like many pet owners, I was slightly apprehensive beforehand. However, when I came to collect my little fella, he looked totally content and the Cattery owners seemed to have sincerely cared for him. I was reassured that they most definitely do NOT mix cats together while cleaning out (as another reviewer had suggested) - each cat has it’s own secure, clean comfortable space. I will confidently use Wharf House again in future.

Brought my cat home after 9 days in the cattery. Not only did my cat and all his belonging stink terrible with pee, poo etc., they were really rude about me being 10 mins late to collect him, having travelled from the south coast, the owner is very bossy. Will never use this cattery again even though only 2 minutes from home, would rather travel.

We have used these kennels for the last 15yrs for all our dogs , past and present. Wouldn't leave our dogs anywhere else. Our dogs love going there. Great people. Real peace of mind for us. Would highly recommend

Unclear on availability for lodging. Also they mix cats in adjoining alley during cleaning of cages which unusual, due to risk of fights, esp. with smaller cats (e.g. I have a kitten). Being shown around facility was haphazard that wondered, (& worried), if it would be similar for care of cats.

My cats have always been looked after great by wharf house.Kim ,the owner,is friendly.They could do with a more organised booking system but thats my only moan.Prices are cheap.wouldnt do anywhere else.

Best kennels for miles I would not take my dog anywhere else. Keep up the good work Kim and Jerry.

Sticks Meadows is gorgeous. The facilities are excellent and Jess and Hannah are lovely to dogs and humans alike! Our dog Ziggy spent several nights there and was so happy with his little holiday. It’s great to know that they love and understand dogs and I felt totally confident he was in the best care! Thank you, we will be back and we highly recommend.

Nigel had the best time ever at Sticks Meadows. I had to physically carry him out of the place, he really didn’t want to leave. The facilities are absolutely outstanding. Clean and fun with so much space for the dogs to run around. Wouldn’t take him anywhere else now. Thank you Hannah and Jess!🐾 …

From the off both Hannah and Jess have been incredibly honest and helpful with all of our questions and completely calmed our nerves! They have an amazing kennel and daycare facility that our dog Olive didn't want to leave! They were always happy for us to come and view the daycare and it blew us away, even the space that the dogs have is more than we could of imagined and that's before they took us out to the secure field they have attached to the back of the daycare! They are very proud and love the job they do and have all certificates and insurances on show for you to view! Couldn't recommend this place enough and we are so thankful for all their help and honestly with us! 👍

Alfie and Tilly use Sticks Meadows weekly and we are always happy leaving them for the day knowing they are treated as a family member. They boarded over the weekend and we were kept up to date with photos and messages. They both came back happy and fell asleep as soon as they came in, which is no mean feat as they have so much energy! The Paddocks is amazing! Our two dogs have a wonderful time here. They are so well cared for, and it's a great opportunity for them to socialise with other dogs from the area. Can't recommend it highly enough!

Inka is a 6 month old lab/border collie cross, very excitable and i wanted somewhere she could socialise and have some playtime with other dogs. And i found the Dog House! She goes 2 half days a week and loves it. Lynne and her team are fantastic with all the dogs, whatever size and age. Nothing is too much trouble from being fairly flexible with sessions where they can to making sure dogs/pups get their own lunch if you want to take their own food in. Inka comes home tired out from all the playing she's done! Glad i found the Dog House, highly recommended.

They are good at taking care of dogs but not great at caring about them. Dogs need to be neutered if 9+ months old, if they need more attention than expected they'll ban them. They have a good amount of staff for a large group of dogs but not enough to help educate a younger or prevent each of them from picking up bad habits from each other. Reccomended if you have a calm, neutered, adult dog. Not reccomended if you have a puppy still building its personality.

We use The Dog House quite often and we'd highly recommend it. The dogs have plenty of room with an inside and outside area. The inside area has plenty of sofas and chairs for the dogs to lay on. The staff are lovely and take great care of the dogs all day.

Best place around to take our dog for doggy daycare. I highly recommend Lynne and her friendly dog loving team. Our dog gets so excited when she goes to daycare at the Dog House Gilmorton and can’t wait to keep going back to see her doggy friends.

My border collie has been going for a few weeks and loves it. Comes home shattered, which for a collie is a rare thing. Staff are lovely and the hour's/day's booked can be flexible within reason. Mask required in reception and trials available.

The Porters Paw Patrol family are so friendly and considerate and clearly love looking after your furry friend. My energetic girl Tess has been taking Dan for long walks and the occasional pond dip twice a week in daycare for almost a year. She’s even had a sleepover and didn’t want to leave. Dan is great with Tess and she clearly loves him dearly as she can’t wait to leave the car. Dan is very caring and takes time to get to know your dog and their every need. I would be more than happy to recommend Porters Paw Patrol to look after your dog, as long as Dan always has time to fuss Tess 😉

Dan is excellent taking care of our dog. You can tell the entire family clearly love dogs and it is very reassuring to know our dog is in safe hands. He goes for the day and overnight stays. The service is always very friendly and professional and I would recommend him to friends and family without concern.

Our cockapoo Biggie always loves his stays with Dan. Dan is incredibly patient with him as he is still a puppy, and takes a lot of care to integrate him well into the pack. He’s very sensitive to Biggie’s needs and was very flexible with his bedtime routine. Biggie loves his walks with Dan and we were so grateful that Dan practiced his recall with him! We will absolutely book Biggie in with Paw Patrol again in the near future. Dan is our go-to dog sitter and we’re sure Biggie can’t wait for his next stay! :)

We’ve used Dans day care for our cockapoo a few times and we have been so impressed with the care and attention he gives the dogs. He’s always happy to go in and we feel really comfortable leaving him. For our wedding, Dan kindly bought our spoilt pooch to our reception and it was the perfect addition to our day. We can’t thank you enough! Would definitely recommend!

Our lovely Ruby has just had a holiday with Dan. We were nervous leaving her, as it was the first holiday away without her, since we got her as a rescue. She settled well, and loved the other dogs. Dan sent some photos while we were away, which was lovely and very reassuring .

Dan is an excellent dog sitter and cares about his dogs and their needs. He took time to ensure my dogs fitted with other dogs and family. Would highly recommend as professional, trustworthy and caring.

I have been leaving Caspa with Porters Paw Parrol once a week for the past 6 months. He is always enthusiastic to go and seems to love his day there. He loves mixing with other dogs and I feel this is good for him. Dan and his wife are very caring towards Caspa and obviously enjoy looking after the dogs. They have been flexible when we needed him looking after for an extra day and they are well organised and welcoming.

What a find! Between country moves for work brought us back temporarily to the UK needing both daytime care and a week of boarding while we house hunted in Europe. Our mini Daschund took to the Porter household instantly and their other 'guests'. Every morning he was at the door eagerly waiting to get in, and every evening he slept like a log when he got back - what better recommendation! Massive thanks to Dan and the Porter household. If you need such a service look no further.

My two girls Absolutely love going to see their uncle Dan and family , there so kind and caring and I can leave them in the knowledge that they are safe and well cared for . I don’t trust just anyone with my 4legged babies , one being a dachshund I have to be so careful with her back and not to have her with over boisterous big dogs , Dan will always try to accommodate. 5 star ⭐️ Service

Dan and his family are absolutely amazing with my 2 year old Labrador! I feel so comfortable leaving him there for the day and he always comes home knackered! As soon as we pull up at Dan’s house he is dragging me to the door to go in!

We bought a dog from chaperone a few months ago and we absolutely love her. She is a pleasure to have in our family and is great with our 2 year old son. Sarah who trained Luna is fantastic , Rich and all the chaperone team have been amazing throughout the whole process and continue to give us support and advice with settling our new dog into our family. She is as much a loving family dog as she is a protection dog and that’s exactly what we wanted. Wouldn’t ever consider buying a protection dog from anyone else! Thank you Chaperone!

Having recently rescued our 16month old Cane Corso we reached out to Chaperone K9 to discuss our options and advice regarding training. From the very first message to them we have felt welcomed and have been treated with nothing but kindness and knowledge. We have had our “Meet and Greet/assessment” with Sarah and could not feel more comfortable and happy with our choice. The facilities are Perfect for purpose, obviously well maintained, clean and comfort inspiring that your dog is in extremely safe hands. Sarah was so friendly, took the time to understand our situation, what we were looking for and amazing with our dog. Even though it was an initial meet and assessment, we feel like we took so much away from it. And cannot wait for the new year where we can settle in to regular visits.

Chaperone K9 have been amazing for us and our Doberman pup and I highly recommend them!!! Being a large lively bread we wanted professional help with day to day commands and heal walking and instilling general good manners in our dog. Our Doberman pup has had a number of one to one sessions since May and has just come back from a weeks training course. She has done so well and learnt so much. The level of care that she received whilst she was there was amazing and the staff are all so friendly and genuinely care for all of the dogs. I honestly don’t know what we would have done without the help of Keeley, and trainers Sarah and Paige. They have gone out of their way to fit in our sessions and have put together a fab training plan for our dog and us to follow. I know if I have any questions that I can contact or message them and they will be on hand for support and any advice we may need. We will be keeping up refresher sessions and would not want our dog to board anywhere else whilst we are away!!! The facilities at CK9 are amazing and every member of staff I have met has been so lovely. I would highly recommend this company. Thank you CK9, Keeley, Sarah, Paige and all the staff that have and are helping us with our pup. We really appreciate you all!

We sent our boy to residential training for 4 weeks to work on dog/stranger reactivity, and obedience with Sarah and the team. We were sent daily pictures, updates and kept in the loop during this time. I knew that he was being looked after and was able to relax. The team are approachable, dedicated and reassuring. I would only ever leave Raffa with Chaperone K9 and would definitely recommend.

Working with Sarah has been game changing. She is so knowledgeable, compassionate and really understanding. She really knows how to get what you need in order to have a better happier rounded dog and owner. Izzy and I are really working together so much better. I have learnt so much.

We couldn’t speak highly enough of the facilities and the care of the team. From the meet and greet to the updates. First class team. Our boy loved it and didn’t want to come home we think lol… you can see why these are the best in UK.

I have had Athos my family protection Cane Corso for a number of years now. At the beginning, like most people, I wondered how he would integrate into our family and how he would be with the kids. To sum it up we couldn’t have asked for any more, he is the gentlest giant within the family, in all settings and we trust him implicitly but offers the most unbelievable, selfless, peace of mind in terms of looking after our property and family. Since having Athos the team at CK9 have been so consistent with their support and help and our two dogs are always excited to board with them when we go away. I would recommend CK9 to anyone without doubt and I would make the same decision again to take a CK9 into my family. Thanks team 🙏🏼

Wow ! Where do I start … we purchased a protection dog through chaperone k9 - first and foremost our dog is amazing - so well trained - she is so soft and affectionate with us all especially the children but her protection instinct is like nothing I’ve seen - she would give her life for her family and she is such a joy to have . The staff were and continue to be amazing - no question is too small - the training with us on how to handle the dog - felt very tailored to mine and my husbands own pace and confidence levels - the trainers are so personable / friendly and professional and always on the text to help out -either via text or in person - after care is ongoing and we feel constantly supported and part of a community with chaperone . The whole process from start to finish has been faultless ….so much so that we’ve gone from a couple who had never had a dog before to talking about a second at some point !! Can’t recommend highly enough

We are absolutely delighted with our Doberman that we got from Chaperone K9. She was imported as a puppy and has been lovingly looked after and trained by Chaperone for the last couple of years. During which time we were able to visit and her brilliant trainer, Kayleigh made frequent visits to our home to train us as owners too. The whole team at Chaperone have been fantastic always willing to answer any questions or concerns we had, updating us regularly with progress and videos. They are all so professional and really care for the welfare of the dogs in their care. I highly recommend Chaperone for anyone thinking of getting a dog of this type we feel truly blessed to have such a fantastic dog and companion. Where do I start!!! These guys are just absolutely amazing we looked at a few different protection dog company’s and these guys just knocked socks off all of them! Within 30 seconds of speaking to Richard at K9 we knew these were who we was going to buy our dog from! The service you receive is like no other! I can’t even begin to highlight names as they are all equally as amazing as each other in every aspect from start to receiving Yan has been seamless (I would say to finish) but there is no end as we have a life term service with these guys. A WhatsApp group is created for all support that we need that lasts forever! And Yan our dog is an absolute credit to the training he has received he’s a big gentle giant with respect for our rules and the loyalty instinct kicked in right away thank you K9 would highly recommend and a short review isn’t enough to describe the service these
