Boarded our 12 year old Benji with Catrina for 5 days. We were not sure how he would be as he has recently lost his twin brother. We shouldn’t have worried as he was very well looked after. Definitely would recommend Catrina and would not hesitate to use Dogs at Spencerfield again

My pup crew, Bubble and Teddy, have stayed with Catrina on three different occasions now and I cannot recommend her enough! This wonder woman isn't just a dog sitter, she's a dog whisperer extraordinaire. Bubble, my high-maintenance diva, gets endless belly rubs and long walks throughout the day, while Teddy, my cuddle monster, receives expert-level snuggles that would put a professional cuddler to shame. They come back happy, healthy, and sporting suspiciously wagging tails, which tells me they've been living the good life – long walks, endless treats, and maybe even a secret stash of squeaky toys. And it's not just the dogs she spoils! Throughout the day, I always receive adorable photo and video updates! Both of my fur babies stayed with Catrina last Christmas and she also gifted them both a present! Talk about going the extra mile (or fetching the extra ball?). I honestly wouldn't dream of using anyone else when I travel. So, if you're looking for a dog sitter who goes above and beyond, beyond, and then some, do yourself (and your pup) a favor and book them at Spencerfield. Our dachshund Seve has been staying with Catrina several times a year for the last 11 years. He absolutely loves his time with Catrina & Kobe. He is treated like one of the family & he has so much fun when he’s there. We’re always happy to leave Seve as we never have to worry about him when we’re away. I cannot rate Catrina and Dogs at Spencerfield highly enough. My little munchkins have been going over to this luxury home from home 5⭐️heaven since my oldest was around 4 or so months. The lovely wee doggies get the real ‘red carpet’ treatment, including all the walks, snacks and pupper enrichment their little hearts could desire. They also get evening sofa snuggles too! When my boys are staying with Catrina and her family, I know I can relax and really enjoy my time away. Catrina provides regular pupdates and is great at managing my eldest boy’s special dietary needs which really gives me peace of mind. Dogs at Spencerfield is truly a unique business and I would never consider boarding my fur- babies anywhere else. Dogs at Spencerfield is fully council licenced which is such an important fact, particularly nowadays when everyone and anyone seems to be ‘doing dog boarding’. When I collect them after my holidays, I can tell they have had a whale of a time! Thanks so much for all you do for us Catrina, Kobe and the gang, love Lauren, Duke and little Blue too 🐶🥰🐶

Our dog has stayed with Catrina and family many times and seems to love it! Catrina regularly sends pics and “pupdates” on how our dog is doing when staying over which always helps when you’re missing them!

Our shih tzu girl has now been 3 times to Dogs at Spencerfield and would recommend the service to anyone looking for a first class dog boarding. Catrina is very professional and friendly. Misty has always been looked after very well and we trust Catrina with her. We know she has a good time and loves to go back. And gives us peace of mind when we go away. Arranged for our Corgi to stay here. Had an introduction at the premises where Catrina met us and our dog, and we signed all paperwork. Agreed on a date for a trial night which was then changed by Catrina, so we changed plans to accommodate. We were then emailed by Catrina 4 days before the re-arranged trial stay, to be told our dog (who she already met) was not small enough to stay, meaning we had to again cancel our plans, at our expense.

Miriam looked after our Cavapoo puppy Max for a week. We couldn’t recommend her highly enough. We had regular updates on Max throughout the week who was well looked after and cared for. We had complete piece of mind during our holiday. Miriam was great to deal with, she also provided us with a lot of useful tips and suggestions with Max going forward. She is very knowledgeable about dog breeds in general. Brilliant service and Max will be back for his ‘pawlidays’ again soon 🐾

Honestly what a genuine lovely lady miriam is although she was fully booked on the dates I needed she went above and beyond with lots of helpful information moving forward, recommend advice she gave, the amount of time she took out her own day to talk with me reassuring me and going threw option I'm so grateful for. I would highly recommend her service based on our own chat for the last 2 hours nothing was a problem if anything I have gained knowledge/ understanding of my own wee dog this lady is hands down a lovely soul thank you Tanya x

I have been using Bespoke Home from Home Dog Boarding for many years - the first time was just after Miriam started it all! Border collie Mac was just a young dog then and he was always well cared for and given that extra special love and attention that you want for your special pet when you have to leave them. We have had 4 different carers over the years and all have been excellent. We now have two dogs, 2 border collies Mac and Midge, and whenever we leave them, we are confident that that they are in safe hands and that they will be cared for as you would care for them yourself at home. Sometimes, it is hard to tear them away and bring them home, they have had such a great time!! Thank you! :)

Unfortunately she couldn't board my dog, but she spent a lot of time with me trying to help me out. A very helpful lady who gave her time when she didn't have to.

Bespoke Dog Boarding was highly recommended to me by my vet. I telephoned the owner of the company and we had a detailed chat about my dog and his requirements, also his daily routine. I was most impressed by the owner of the company and can tell that she clearly is very knowledgeable about dog breeds in general. I was concerned that my dog who is a loveable middle aged lab, would be home boarded alongside, for example, a "Staffie" but after reading these other reviews, I am delighted to say that dogs who some may consider as potentially dangerous breeds would not be allowed to board with Bespoke Dog Boarding. This gave me peace of mind. I then met with one of the dog carers, who fell in love with my boy straight away and vice versa. The carers home and garden was beautiful. We spend over half an hour with the carer and played with my dog in the garden. I could see how happy he would be if he were to come here for his holidays. I have now used Bespoke Dog Boarding 3 times this year already as the service is fantastic. The dogs receive 3 or 4 lengthy walks each day, loving home comforts, constant companionship and I also received updates during my holiday followed by a selection of beautiful photographs after my holiday, showing Bailey having a super time with another 2 dogs from different families. When I collected him, he didn't want to leave!!!! I have now highly recommended Bespoke Dog Boarding to all of my dog friends. I would advise others to make a booking months in advance of your holiday as they are usually fully booked 6 months to a year in advance by all their regular clients. However I have sometimes asked for a short notice booking and if they have availability they will take Bailey. To the team of dog carers who may read this, thank-you for providing me with total peace of mind and I look forward to using your service for many more years to come.

Used Miriam for my dog Bailies 14 years at least three times a year and couldn’t fault her. She dosnt take dangerous breeds which I feel is a great thing as it is only for the safety of our own dogs . I can’t beleive the below negative posts when thease people have even used the company because they didn’t make it through the strict criteria . Well done Bespoke for not taking any dog just to make more money . Fabulous service and genuine dog lovers .

Murdo has been looked after by Colin & Mary on several occasions. His second home, I have no problem leaving him and know he'll be well looked after with lots of walks and cuddles.

Tracey is nothing short of a kitty-cat goddess! She visited my feline companion Sandy once per day to lavish him with food and love whilst I was in Berlin. I was very nervous about leaving him, but Tracey was so reassuring and sent videos and photos of him every day. He adored her from the first meeting. I'll definitely be using Fur Babies again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tracey 😽💕❤️

Tracey at Dunfermline is absolutely marvellous in every respect. Communication, affection shown towards my cat, attention to detail in feeding and care, and feedback videos on how he is doing. I cannot recommend her too highly.

My cat had the pleasure of having Tracey's company for 10 days whilst we were on holiday. Tracey was fabulous with my cat and could see from the daily videos how taken he was with her kind words and loving manner towards him. The biggest compliment is the cat didn't seem that fussed to have us home. Not really sure he noticed we had left. The reassurance that the cat was being well cared for and given his daily medication in his own home was amazing. I would highly recommend Tracey for your cats needs. Tracey was absolutely fantastic looking after my two kittens 😸. She went above & beyond with the care she gave on her twice daily visits. The videos & photos after every visit were lovely & so reassuring (I was very anxious leaving my babies). Tracey clearly loved my kittens from the moment she met them & they loved her. She has such a lovely, kind & gentle approach - which was seen from the initial visit & on every visit to my kittens. The videos sent often made me giggle as my kittens were clearly having so much fun playing, loving the cuddles & were helping Tracey clean too 😀 I will highly recommend Tracey to anyone looking for a pet sitter. Tracey did a very good job looking after our 5 cats while we were on holidays. It was such a relief seeing videos and photos of them, knowing they are in caring hands. Unfortunately, my dog was involved in an ‘incident’ while in their care. I spoke with bark n fly on the phone at 12pm 7th of March while at work and was told that a dog had ran over to mine and had bitten him on the ear (“nipped”) and there were some marks left underneath his front shoulder. We were told that he did not need picked up early and was fine after the incident as he was acting like himself. I was told it was up to owners if they wanted to opt for stitches on the ear or let it heal itself but to possibly get some antibiotics from the vet to avoid infection. I had booked my dog into the vet just to be sure. I was told the dogs had been separated and that the other owner would be told about the incident. I was also told that it would’ve been my dog that would get moved groups in future as he had been placed with the larger dogs. When I arrived to collect my dog, he came limping down the steps and I initially was looking for the cut on his ear when I noticed there was a major cut on his leg. After seeing my dog close up I could tell he would need stitches at the top of his leg and there would definitely be no ‘owner choice’ in regards to his wound. The worker told me he had been asleep for the last 2 hours which is very out of character for my young beagle and he has never done that while at day care before. I told the worker that he clearly needs stitches and they looked at his wound and addressed my dog and asked him if he had been “licking it while I wasn’t watching”. No amount of licking could have caused the open wound on his arm, I had no response to this and picked him up to go to the vets. I could see that my dog had been bitten multiple times and this was not a result of playing. I had to lift my dog to the car as he refused to walk any further and I left in tears. After taking my dog to the vet, they could see that he would need stitches and booked him in for the following morning. He had to be injected with antibiotics and painkillers, wound cleaned and given a cone to stop him making the cut worse. My insurance covered the £550 vet bills but I paid £160 excess for his injuries. In his procedure he had to get 3 different lots of stitches. After seeking a dog walker, they also had a look at the injuries and described it as he had clearly been mauled by the other dog. I was not told that the other dog who had done this would no longer be allowed to attend the daycare and I also feel upset that their owner will not know the extent of the incident and will not hear the final outcome. I had no confirmation about what had been said to the other owner. I wish that I had known the extent of his injury and I would have collected him straight away and taken him to the vet rather than him being hurt and left for 4 hours. Since then, Bark N Fly told me that they would pay me back the excess amount of £160 which took 2 months to receive back. I am only posting my experience now as although I stopped using their services I feel that other dogs owners should know about my dogs experience using Bark N Fly.

We've used Bark n Fly's services several times now and have been impressed each time. The gentleman that does the pick up is always kind and patient, and when we went to the place in person the staff were also helpful. We thought the facilities were impressive, too. Our dog (pictured in our local park) is very nervous of people but Bark n Fly assured us she'd be okay and have been most professional. I would absolutely recommend them if you need your dog cared for.

My pup Daisy loves the day care facilities at Bark n Fly. The pickup/drop off service is really handy. Daisy recently stayed for just under a week in the boarding services and had a great time, I appreciated the pictures of her playing and living her best life! Will definitely keep using Bark n Fly and highly recommend

This is the first time we have used kennels for our two dogs Winnie and Mylo, Dawn and her team were great and helped us get everything organised for their stay. Winnie is a typical outgoing wee white fluff ball but Mylo is quite a nervous dog but they were so good and caring with him and the genuine affection shown by Abby and the other staff helped him relax, come out of his shell and enjoy his stay. This was our first time using the boarding service at Bark n Fly. When we picked our Westie Mara up after a wee, she tried to run back inside the building - so she must have absolutely loved it! Staff were friendly and gave some nice feedback on her stay. We will definitely use you again when we go away.

20 min waiting for someone at reception and nothing. Looks like I will lose my appointment at 10am due to not being able to leave my dogs for care. If you leave your dog here make sure you have enough, more than enough time. Looks like a nice place but no one at the front. Edited review - Don’t know how to reply to the “lies” I called - someone said would be there soon (disregarding the las two, dialled by mistake) so yes, there are calls. Be aware that someone answered so this is not a lie - perhaps you don’t know the call is registered on the callers phone. I was there at 9:22 with one of my dogs outside - took the picture because I knew this would be contested. So, yes, I did follow the instructions given in the door and yet nothing. Again, looks like a nice place but give yourself plenty, plenty of time and maybe someone will be at the reception.

Fantastic day care and boarding centre. Very friendly and helpful staff, and super convenient pick up / drop off service. When our dog was a puppy we really liked that we could get her acclimated to being away by starting with a half day at day care, progressing to a full day, and then to overnight stays. Our dog always loves her time there and comes home very sleepy from all the playing!

The Bark n Fly is amazing! They’re services are great! They picked up and delivered our dogs and both drivers were friendly, helpful and so patient with Ruby and Leia! We also could follow them on Instagram and check how much fun the dogs had playing around! They arrived home very happy (and equally exhausted because of the great time they had). I have no words to express how grateful we are to have found such nice people to take care of them while we are away 💙

We have a very active 18 months old GSP, who has struggled with home boarding so decided to try Bark’n’Fly. The team were very knowledgeable and gave us great advice on how to help her adjust to staying overnight. Coco has now been going for 3 months and her separation anxiety is gone! She recognises the staff and can’t wait to play in the fields with all the other dogs. We love checking Instagram to see if we can see a picture of Coco having fun on their account! I recommend the team and the set up, especially if you have an active dog, it’s great for them to be able to play all day

We had a wonderful experience with Angela! She helped us out last minute and took our dog for the day when we went into Edinburgh. She was so friendly and kept us updated with photos of our dog. He is very attached so didn’t like being away from us, but relaxed and came back to us full of smiles. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing! Angela loves dogs so much. This is evident in everything she does with them. Always gives u 110% and is someone you can completely trust. She was my kids babysitter before moving to dog walking. She now walks my dog! I really do recommend.

Julie took fantastic care of our dog Islay when we went on holiday, she sent us daily updates and pictures of all the activities she did with islay. She even bought her a new Kong ball when islay lost her original. She clearly has a passion for what she does and is extremely professional and capable. Would highly recommend and will be definitely using her services again

Would highly recommend Julia to look after your dog. She looked after our puppy for 4 weeks and will definitely be sending Lexie back to her when we go on our next holiday. She sent us regular photos and updates and kept us informed when Lexie had a mild reaction to some salmon oil. Lexie had an amazing time with her and would love to go back! 10/10.

I would highly recommend Julia to everyone who loves their dogs. Julia was looking after my dog for a couple of days and I couldn't be happier with the whole experience. I have been receiving regular updates about Lexi and photos from her daily activities. Knowing that Lexi was so well looked after allowed me to enjoy my time away from her. Lexi came back home very happy too. Julia is amazing in what she is doing and you can see all dogs loves her too.

Our beagle x Luna has now stayed with Julia 3 times and I now wouldn't think of placing her anywhere else whilst we go away. Luna has been to kennels once and it was completely the wrong situation for her but now we have found Julia we no longer worry if she's OK. We have just got Luna back after a 5 night stay and she is a very happy doggy. After her stay in kennels last tear she was very different with us and had developed some bad habits. Now when she goes to Julia's she is dragging us to her door and is still the same dog upon return. This time she didn't even notice we had gone, she ran off to play immediately. Julia sends us updates everyday, letting us know she's getting the best care. Luna is treated like one of Julia's own, Luna adores her. You won't find a better place for your fur baby than with Julia.

This is the 3rd time I’ve left my Kobe with Julia. It was my first time leaving Kobe so I was very anxious. From the very start , Julia put me at ease and she took Kobe for a few sleepovers before we left him for his holiday. Julia, is absolutely fantastic, I feel totally content when I leave Kobe with Julia. It’s just home from home. She is so good to him, he gets loads of walks, attention and snuggles. Her own dogs are absolutely adorable 🥰. Julia, keeps me well updated, she sends me loads of pics and videos which I absolutely love , he always looks so happy and getting these just makes my day. I highly recommend Julia, I wouldn’t leave my Kobe with anyone else now. Thank you so so much Julia for being so kind and caring to my baby boy and looking after him so well for us! I was attending a wedding and needed a dog sitter (I live in Cheshire) Julia was recommended to me and she did an excellent job looking after my 10 month old pup, who can be a bit timid at times. He had an afternoon of fun and adventures. I loved getting photo updates of what he was doing. I would use Julia again if I needed her.

One on One dogs is the BEST dog walking and dog training service around. They even offer dog boarding. Kristie and her team are well trained, professional, flexible, dependable, knowledgeable, and LOVE all dogs! I trust them with my senior German Shepherd and also with my (sometimes misbehaved) 5 year old German Shepherd. We have gotten some training for our 5 year old shepherd with Kristie and in just one session she is a better behaved dog. Go to One on One for all of your dog care needs.

Kristie, Isla and Kate are absolutely lovely and completely understanding of a new puppy owner. The team have been so caring of my boy, helping him grow in confidence with his training and out on the lead. Having had a little trouble in the beginning finding the perfect service for puppy visits, the team really came to my rescue. Not only are the team mindful of checking in with you to provide updates and ask questions, Kristie is very professional in the way the service runs. I could not recommend ONE on ONE dogs enough, especially when checking in on your new addition to the family 🐕

I simply cannot recommend Kristie and her team highly enough. One on one have been walking our girls for 5 years and Kristie was instrumental in the early training of our Australian Shepherd puppy. The walkers really care about the dogs and in return they are adored! Absolutely deserved of the 5 stars given here.

After alot of thought and hesitation. We took the plunge and contacted Kristie. So helpful, so understanding of our circumstances. Now our wee timid 'Fergus' cannot wait for his walkers Susan & Emma. He sits at the window waiting for the car and off he goes. Best decision we have made. We get regular updates on what the wee one has been up to, together with pictures. Cannot recommend enough!!!!

Kristie, Cheryl and team do such a great job of walking and stimulating my busy Collie dog. They have taken so much time to be get to know him and his personality! Very happy to do 1:1 walks which lots of businesses don't offer. Would highly recommend One on One Dogs. He loves their visits!

Such a reliable and friendly team! My pup loves going for his walks and playing with his friends. We have used the service since we first got pup and have really appreciated how the interactions have grown with him; from puppy visits and exposure to new experiences, to providing a great routine and socialisation with other dogs. Honestly the BEST dog walkers, I could not recommend them enough. We held off on using a dog walker for years, but from day one Kristie and the team have been amazing, wish we hadn’t waited so long. We get lots of updates and photos. Our girl is so excited for their arrival and comes home happy, exhausted and ready to snooze for hours.

Kristie and the team took on our Collie for daily walks at short notice while we were away on holiday. We met everyone involved prior to leaving wwhich completely reassured us that she ws in good hands.They were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Information was communicated regularly so we could see our pup was happy while we were away and that was also very obvious on our return too. Would definitely recommend One on One and would be our first choice in the future.

I have been using One on One for over a year and would highly recommend. Kristie is very professional and has always made me feel at ease about leaving Marnie in her teams capable hands. Marnie loves her weekly walks with Isla, and gets so excited the moment I even mention her name. I stopped having a need for a dog walker some time ago, but Marnie’s confidence has improved so much from it that we couldn’t possibly give it up. Marnie also loved her holiday with Charlie and it was clear from the pictures and updates that she was having a ball and being treated like she was their own. Charlie even hung on to her a little longer when I was running late getting home, which I was so grateful for. We have also done some training with Kristie which was really helpful. Kristie in general has just been extremely understanding of all my Marnie related worries and has always taken the time to fully reassure me even when i’m being a little on the obsessive side. Can’t thank Kristie, Isla and Charlie enough for the service they provide and for taking such good care of my girl.

The Happy Pet Company were so lovely and efficient. We originally hired them to cat sit for our two cats for a week, but due to circumstances had to cancel a few days which they were happy to do. They updated us daily and sent pictures. Our cats can be quite fussy with who they respond to but instantly they greeted Steven which was a relief. We will certainly be using them again.

Steven is absolutely amazing and max loves both him and Sharon - my life would be a lot harder without their help.

Absolutely brilliant love Caroline.. dogs have fun come home knackered! Shes very good with dogs with behavioral issues too.... we have a failed bullmation foster...🙄 does doggy day care which we now need for my mums staffie and she walks my daughters dog too. The bigger the dog Caroline excells... and her prices are very good 10 stars not 5 x x x

Barbara has been walking our two dogs for over a year now, and she has been fantastic. She always lets me know when she is with them, and lets me know if there are any issues (which is very rare). I feel that Barbara's service is great value for money, and my two dogs are always very excited to see her. Although I walk them every day in the mornings, I can't give them as much exercise as I would like, and Barbara provides them with a great opportunity for a nice long walk. She is friendly and flexible, and provides me with great peace of mind as I know they are in good and capable hands. I would highly recommend Barbara for any dog-walking/minding requirements you might need.

I contacted Barbara at short notice as my wife had to go abroad for 4 weeks. She was round to see me same day and started few days later. Nice young lady, very friendly, I Was a bit nervous the first time my dogs went out as I have never used a dog walker before, but I had nothing to worry about, Barbara kept intouch texting a couple of times during the walk which put my mind at ease. My initial reason for getting a dog walker was only for 8wks while I looked after my sons dog which had just had puppy's, but my dogs just loved their walk with Barbara so we continue for about 6 months I would highly recommend her services Thanks again for helping me out x🐾

Used barbara for our exciteable labrador, lexi since easter 2016. She has a great relationship with her and always updates us on how she is getting on. I can be confident that lexi will get an exciting and fun walk while i am at work.
