Best kennels I have ever used. My dog was cared for to the highest of standards , staff are Fabulous can't praise them enough, they clearly love their work and Milo was very happy there. Thank you so much.

Have used wilderbrook kennels for over 10 years looking after our husky ( who sadly we lost earlier this week ) Maya my husky was all ways well looked after by all the staff at wilderbrook and couldn’t recommend them enough. Sometimes she would stay with them for over a month when we were travelling and never given a 2nd thought to dropping her off. Staff are approachable, understanding and happy for a check up message on what’s app or a call.

Wallace loved his stay, could not have asked for more.

My two cats have stayed at The Secret Garden three times now, and I am extremely happy leaving them there. The pens are immaculate, as is the entire cattery. It's very clean, with no smell of cat wee, which I've smelt in other catteries. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners, and I know, without a doubt, my boys are well-cared for. Thank you so much! An excellent cattery, which I would not hesitate to recommend.

It's really reassuring to know your pet will be looked after. The team went above and beyond when they had to take our dog to the vet on a Sunday morning. Even though we were out of the country, they made sure we were kept up to date even though this was all at the last minute. We've used a number of kennels with various pets over the years, but Wilderbrook is one of the best.

This is the first time my dog has been in kennels and I was so worried about him. He stayed for 3 nights and had a lovely time. There was definitely no need to worry and I'll definitely be using the kennels again. Thankyou Wilderbrook .

Very nice friendly place, more than happy leaving my cat in their care when we go on holidays.

Always take our cat here as always has seemed happy with good accommodation with friendly professional staff. Price seems fair, and also has dog kennel options too. Some narrow roads to get there but also fairly easy to find.

We have a year old Weimaraner dog called Rasmus and he loves going to Wilderbrook. He is very well looked after and we can tell by his behavior that he is happy there. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Fantastic grooming service. I took my small dog there recently and Julie did a superb job. I have lived for three years in Ripon and have tried most of the dog groomers in the area and this is by far the best. Our dog who is 15 years old came back frisking about like a puppy relieved to be quit of his long , woolly coat. I had had him clipped just a few weeks ago and it was so bad and wildly overpriced for a 10 minute job. We have also had our two dogs stay in kennels at Wilderbrook and that also was first rate.

Julie looked after our dog when we were away for a week on holiday and she did a great job. Dash was made to feel very welcome, immediately befriended Julie and had lots of fun. Julie updated us regularly and shared some photos so we could see what the dogs were up to. I will definitely use Maddie’s Retreat in the future and would highly recommend for a professional and homely stay for your pup!!

Just came back from a week away on a family holiday having never left my dog with anyone other than friends before. It was lovely to see how well settled and looked after he has been at Maddie’s Retreat. I got plenty of updates throughout his stay with pictures showing all the fun he was having. I would not hesitate on recommending Maddie’s Retreat and will certainly use their services again.

We recently used Maddie Retreat for our dog Evie. She had a great time being walked with lots of new doggy friends & being looked after in a lovely home environment. Julie kept us up to date with videos & photo’s during her stay. Julie is very professional, knowledgeable & caring I felt reassured we had left our dog in safe hands. 5⭐️

Maddie's Retreat really is a home from home for our dog. He absolutely loves going to stay with Julie and gets really excited when we mention her name. Julie and her family treat the dogs in there care as if they were their own and they want for nothing. I would highly recommend them.

My little Yorkie loves to go to Julie’s and I feel reassured when she goes there that she will be looked after really well and surrounded by other little dogs. Julie has extensive knowledge of animals and is very committed to her job and looking after other peoples pets making sure they feel at home. She’s very patient with my dog and very careful and aware of safety issues. Highly recommended.

After I lost one of my little dogs and didn't want to put my other one into kennels Julie stepped up for me and took my little dog into her home. She did a check first to make sure she fitted in and after a successful visit i felt comfortable leaving my little dog with her. When I came back from my weekend away it was quite apparent she'd settled in well and was comfortable there. I know she was well looked after and would definitely use Julie again in the future and would recommend her, thanks Julie

What amazing doggy boarding. Julie and her team took fantastic care of Dougal whilst we were on holiday. Paddling pools for him in the hot weather and plenty of walks. He was sad to leave after having made so many new doggy friends. The dogs really do just play together and relax together under Julie’s supervision. I was sent regular updates on Dougal which was very reassuring. He was even groomed several times. Fantastic care from someone who clearly adores dogs.

Alfie has just started to go to Maddie’s retreat and he loves it! He has fun with the other dogs and is very well looked after ! I feel so reassured that he is having a great time! I will definitely be using Maddie’s retreat and Julie on a regular basis including boarding !

It was Charlie and Rodney's first time time staying at Park House Luxury kennels . We got photos of what they where up to which put our minds at ease . The team looked after them really well .we have just booked them in again for June. Thank you Kate and team .

We have just picked Bob up from his 2 week holiday and he literally didn’t want to come home🙄. Kate and her team and the facilities are amazing. The dogs (bob) are looked after as individuals, they are treated like royalty. It is worth every penny knowing that he was liked after, safe and happy. Great facilities, indoor kennels, a lovely big field for them to play in. The staff are excellent at communicating, sharing updates, and genuinely care for their visitors. It's always so hard to leave our fur babies, but it's made 100% easier knowing they're in good hands.

Kate, her team and the facilities are second to none! The peace of mind we get from knowing that Ralph (our 12 month old Golden Retriever) is looked after like he was one of Kates own is worth every penny.

20 out of 10 for us and that’s just the dogs review!!! All the girls are fabulous and our dogs are very happy going and coming home…

Brilliant Kennels.

Gemma was recommended to us and we cannot praise her highly enough. She is extremely professional but very caring and attentive of what outcomes you are after for your doggy. Frank our cockapoo was only 8 months old and although very loving and cute was beginning to take over our lives. Gemma took us back to basics and the importance of establishing structure and consistency. What we particularly liked about Gemma was how much she cared and how she took the time to fully understand what the issues were that we were particularly concerned about Franks behaviour. It is a constant WiP but so much better than where we were. We would highly recommend Gemma. Thank you Gemma

Gemma and her family are absolutely amazing with Fred my GSP (now renamed Sir Frederick). They did everything to settle him when we were on holiday with daily updates, photos and videos and Fred loves going for doggy day care to run around and snooze with his new bestie Harry. Completely recommend them as they love all the dogs and they become part of the family. They have lots of fun and cuddles, the best care possible.

I can’t imagine our puppy journey without Gemma. Before we’d even brought Ezra home Gemma had invested so much time into him as one of her doggy clients, supplying us with invaluable information and advice for bringing Ezra home. Since Ezra has started day care with her, that has only continued - and from her lovely family too. They all create a real home from home experience for your pup. Gemma is very conscientious when structuring her day with the dogs she has in, dividing her time & attention to ensure each dogs individual needs are met. Ezra is often one of the youngest amongst Gemma’s doggy clients and she’s been great at allocating time to him and his training - which she has also helped us massively with. Not only is her knowledge impressive, her dedication and passion to teaching this to others is something you really won’t find anywhere else. Harry & Co is so much more than a dog sitting service, you’ll feel absolutely zero guilt about leaving your pup there, just total reassurance that they’re happy in a safe, fun environment. Gemma keeps us updated via photos & videos throughout the day so we’re not missing a thing and can feel totally in the loop about his day. I can’t emphasise enough how pleased we are to have found Harry & Co!

Great method of training. Definitely helping my unruly Welsh Terrier. Lots of support from Gemma and seeing a positive change in behaviour!

I contacted Gemma initially as a day care option for my dog, Gus, but it became apparent that he had some issues with separation anxiety and Gemma recommended he would benefit from her behaviour training services. From the first consultation, Gemma demonstrated incredible knowledge and professionalism. Gus responded really well to her approach — it was clear that Gemma genuinely cared about his well-being and was dedicated to helping us succeed. I noticed a huge improvement after only a few days of implementing her techniques and Gus was so much more settled and relaxed in the house. I hadn't realised that before when I thought he was settled, he was still very alert to his surroundings and my movements, and not getting the proper rest he needed, which was resulting in undesirable behaviours - mouthing, attention-seeking, and destructive behaviour. Throughout the process, Gemma was, and still is, always available for follow-up questions, and has been extremely supportive. Overall, I highly recommend Gemma to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, and effective dog behaviourist!

Absolutely brilliant! We have had Rocko since 8 weeks and Gemma's tips/ongoing advice for us novice pup owners has been class, and constant too - always on the end of a WhatsApp when the going gets tough to calm things down. As I said to Gemma just before writing this, I rarely do the 110% thing since of course 100% is the maximum for anything, but if I could rate Gemma and Harry & Co 6*, I would!!!

Gemma - a huge, huge 'thank you' for your help with Willow and me - my beautiful 8 year old girl has been with me for 8 months after being adopted from the RSPCA. Since working with you for the last few weeks implementing 'the 4 Pillars' - what a difference concluding with a visit to see you last week and her having her best time ever joining Harry for her first lead free adventure and a dip in the river. I know she will be so excited to come and spend the whole day with you later this month. Keep doing what you are doing it is magic stuff - bless you!!

Gemma is brilliant and our pup absolutely LOVES his days with Gemma. We’re always getting updates of him on walks and playing with the other dogs. Not only is she fantastic for doggy day care, but also for doggy listening. We have seen such an improvement in our pup with the hints and tips she gives us. Her home is lovely and perfect layout for dogs, I would highly recommend Harry & Co! X

We can’t thank Gemma enough for caring for Bruce, our 3year old springer spaniel, whilst we were away for a short break.He loved being in a home setting and feeling part of Gemma’s family. We were reassured by the photos and videos Gemma sent to us and impressed by her going the extra mile to set a WhatsApp group up so our whole family got updates. Gemma has also helped us with some behaviour issues. A comprehensive assessment has enabled us to understand Bruce’s needs better and we now know how to respond to ensure a happy and content pet. Difficult to review kennels really, since you don't really know what's going on once you've dropped your dog off there. I mean, when we picked our beast up she remained alive, and had a tremendously waggy tail, but that's pretty much what you would expect from a kennel. What I did like is that they seemed to know a little about her personality, such that they had spent some time with her. It's a good price as well. We'll certainly use it again.

First time I've ever used kennels. Brakenfarg came recommended to me by someone. I have an XL cross rescue that's very nervous, I viewed the kennels and spoke to them before booking and was quickly put at ease about having her there. She has only ever been left with friends and family that know her so this was new to both of us. She was in to stay for 4 nights and I was kept updated with her regularly and sent pictures and videos of her stay whilst she was there to keep me at ease whilst away. Couldn't recommend these kennels enough, will definitely use again!

Hi all review page won't let me put 5 stars....but it definitely is. I have two rescue border collies who have many issues. I work for a local vet and will only take my dogs to someone I trust 100 percent to deal with their problems. Ben and his staff listen to what your dogs need and ensure they are happy and cared for meaning you can go away and relax....and come back to happy healthy dogs. Wouldn't leave mine anywhere else. left our 1 year old rescue pup for the first time since getting him 4 months ago. we were very nervous but knowing ben and the great reputation Brakenfarg has we went for a visit and Jackson, our dog ran straight in and seemed totally at ease. when we picked him up he was full tail wagging and so happy.. even before he saw us. he has obviously had an amazing time and has been so well cared for. even when i called a couple times like a crazy mum someone was always there to reassure me and tell me how he was getting on. would definitely recommend to anyone xx

My two dogs visit regularly for overnights, weekends or full holidays. They are always happy to go, excited when they get there. I know they are well looked after with time and care spent on them. Staff and owner all very accommodating and understanding.

Have been using Brackenfarg over 20 years. You can tell how good it is when the dogs jump out of the car on arrival and run to the door with their tails wagging!

Our dog seems to enjoy his stays at Brackenfarg Kennels and we can leave him reassured that he's in good hands.

Great hotels, very friendly staff. This was the first time we had used Sutton Grange and our dog Snoopy was well looked after and fed for the whole two weeks and did not have that kennel smell you get when you are in a kennel. I can definitely recommend this place and will definitely be going back again. Thank you Adrian

Very caring and attentive to both of our dogs who have various health issues. We always feel very confident that our dogs will be well looked after and we have been using Sutton Grange for over 14 years now. We wouldn't go anywhere else.

Heated kennels and a very warm welcome. Used Sutton Grange for years and the way the dogs go into kennels here with waggy tails and greet the owners so happily, it's obvious they enjoy the place. Thoroughly recommended- if you can get your pets in - very popular with many regulars.

Great kennels, very friendly staff. This was the first time using Sutton Grange and our dog was well looked after for the week and he didn’t have that kennel smell you get when they’ve been in kennels. We will definitely be using Sutton Grange again.

I don't live locally, but I have been boarding Vito, my labrador, at Sutton Grange for 6 years now. He is always happy at drop off and pick up, which makes the trip worthwhile. Great staff, great location, and acres of fields for exercise. Big thanks to Cindy and the team.

Our dog goes there for her holidays and love it. She is all ways created with here name.

I have been bringing my dog and cat to this facility for years, sometimes even twice a year. However, today, for the first time, I am disappointed with the way I was treated as a customer. I made an honest mistake with the drop-off and pick-up times. Instead of accommodating a half-hour difference, I was charged an additional £25 for both drop-off and pick-up days. To add to my disappointment , I was also charged another £25 because I picked them up after 10 am. I felt hurt by this. It seems that customer service no longer matters, and it's all about the money. Unfortunately, I will not be bringing my pets back to this facility.

Our dogs have been coming to Petties Paws for years. The staff are lovely and really take care of our dogs. They are always happy to go there. Can’t recommend them enough.

The staff were friendly, accomodating, and nice; unfortunately when I walked into the dog kennels, I immediately wanted to take my dog and walk back out. The floor was wet and the kennels were cold. We were surrounded by the noise of barking dogs and they had just placed a chewed up plastic bed in my dog's kennel. We wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and hoped they had just mopped as we did see several of the staff taking the dogs on a walk about the farm. However, when we came back to pick our dog up she was wet, cold, and muddy. She was happy to see us and jumped in the car. Needless to say, we will not be coming back.

I was very happy with the care that my cat, Rosie, received. Her accommodation was roomy enough for her to play with her toys and she had secure access to the outside. I have already booked another stay for her in the summer. 4.8 rating is good

Have looked after my two dogs in numerous occasions - often at short notice. The owner/manager has always been very pleasant, and the Kennels are kept very clean. My dogs have always come home well fed, happy, and not smelling of Kennels. I would definitely recommend 👍 …

A friends dog was in there for two weeks and they pretty much didn’t feed him with the amount of weight he lost when my friend came to collect him. Also the fact that he had to provide his dogs own food was absurd especially with the prices they charge. Money grabbing so and so’s.

I just travelled over from America and had to go into quarantine. I had a pet moving service bring my Cockerpoo over and deliver to Pettie Paws. They kept me un to date on how he was doing, provided food for him, and when i picked him up, he was very happy.

Lily our little rescue dog was very nervous about her first trip to the kennels, but when we got back for her after 4 days she was obviously very contented and happy, well fed and clean so we will have no hesitation to take her to stay with you again, thanks for looking after her so well Sheila Brown

Rachel is a fabulous dog walker. Our dog Evie absolutely loves her and rushes to the door to greet her when she comes to collect her in her fun bus, this from a dog who hates the car. Rachel always posts updates and photos on her social media so you can see the fun that the pooches are having on their walks. You can tell that she genuinely cares for the dogs and has an amazing, patient way with them. A great communicator and reliable. Added bonus that Rachel is an amazing photographer and so you get awesome snaps chucked in as part of the package.

Rachel truly is fantastic! I can't recommend her enough! Not only does she provide professional walks for my dog, but she has also provided professional and really helpful advise. My border collie had some behaviour issues before I started using Rachel. Since then, he has been on regular walks with her and his behaviour has changed massively! With her help we have managed to positively improve my dogs behaviour and obedience. Her support and patience has been amazing!

Rachel is amazing! She walked our Dog from a puppy and he absolutely adores her and it is clear she adores him. He is always waiting at the window for her and is tired out when he comes back. Rachel has also done home visits for our cat and the puppy before he was big enough for group walks. Highly recommend if you want a loyal, reliable, knowledgeable dog walker and pet sitter :)

Highly recommend Pads Pets! Rachel has helped us with our pets for many years from home visits to walks and always gives great advice when we need it. Rachel is 100% trust worthy and genuinely loves and looks after your pets like she would her own. She is 1 in a million and I don't know what we would do without her!

I have known Rachel for many years and she has been a godsend. She is reliable, honest, professional and above all has a love for all living things. My dog, Tegen, has stayed with her many times and loves her so much. We will miss her when she moves to Ripon but I know she will be amazing and successful in her new area.

Rachel has been just brilliant with a our new puppy. From puppy home visits to full group walks with dogs that were right for Monty. Every step of the way, making sure Monty was happy and having fun. Loads of support and guidance for us as well as we were first time dog owners which was so helpful Can’t recommend Rachel enough Bulford, and our loss is certainly Ripon's gain.

5 stars!! I’ve give more if I could. Rachel is amazing with every dog in her care. She has so much control and love for each of them. I wouldn’t go to anyone else. She’s also an amazing person who’s so friendly and knowledgeable.

Have used Pads Pets for over six years and there is no better, more trustworthy Walker. Rachel understands dogs, has empathy for both dogs and people and is so flexible. She just wants what is best for your pet. Sadly she has moved which is our loss down here but Ripon’s gain.

Easy to find, even in the dark at 6:30pm in winter. With floodlights it gives ok light, but would suggest taking a torch and having a light on your dog to easily keep and eye on them. Plenty for the dog to see and do and very secure. Overall well worth the price.

Amazing place. Definitely take wellies for you and a towel for your dog as it's VERY muddy at the moment (winter clearly will be) Great range of equipment for the dogs, completely secure and lots of interesting things for the dogs to explore.

Great time at dog zone we were early birds but enjoyed the quietness archie loved it will be back
