10/5 stars. Would recommend to anyone looking to send their doggy to daycare! Ali is so great with Reggie and he loves going to see her and play with his doggy friends. He’s a rescue and going to daycare has been so so good for him and he’s really blossoming and becoming a confident and brave boy. So thankful for such a great place for Reggie to go so close to home ❤️

We were a little worried about leaving our very energetic and sometimes nervous dog Max and Ben, Ali was very understanding and reassuring over email when booking. Ali make us feel very welcome on arrival, and it didn’t take long before Max and our older dog Ben looked relaxed and ready for a fun day. Ali sent us photos, which reassured us and made us smile. We picked up two very happy and tired out dogs. We will be definitely booking in again when we come back to visit the area Thank you Ali

This doggy daycare is the best! Our dog always has the best time there, he is so excited whenever he goes there and he comes back all chill and tired from playing all day! Ali is really great with Ton and it is so nice to know that your dog is in such good hands and having the best time. Super reliable, great service, very caring and just awesome!!!!! WE ARE SO GRATEFUL FOR WOOF AND WANDER DOGGIE DAYCARE!!!

Ali has looked after our Spaniel multiple times now and everytime I’m pretty sure he doesn’t want to leave! Ali LOVES dogs and it’s plain to see, she has such enthusiasm for the care and enrichment she gives to all the dogs that come to her! 100% recommend!

When this doggy day care centre opens it will be one special place as the owner has come from Truro with a lot of experience, qualifications and most importantly love for all things doggy! You can confidently send your furbies here knowing they will get the best attention in Cornwall! Since writing Ali has gained her licence to take home boarding. Your furbies will have the best time!!

My pup loves it! Lots of space indoors and out…Ali is really caring and has put a lot of thought into the space!

My pup is a rescue from Romania, he has previous trauma and anxieties which has made it very difficult for me to find a kennels for him. He is such a wonderful boy but this has never been seen by previous kennels due to his fears of new people. However, for the first time ever, I have come home from my travels to find not only had my boy eaten while I was away including hand feeding when needed (he previously has gone on hunger strike while I’ve been away) but he had walked every day and even allowed head scratches!! This has overwhelmed me with joy and I honestly will never use any other kennel to look after my boy when I have to travel. They are so kind, gentle and work in line with the needs of your pets. They took time to have a settling in day, getting to know my pup and ensuring he felt comfortable with them as well as reassuring me that he would be in good hands. This is an absolutely wonderful place and leaving your fur baby here ensures that they are safe, happy and well looked after. I can not express how wonderful this place is. I will be sure to recommend them. I can not sing their praises enough.

This was my first time using a cattery whilst I went on holiday. Affordable & fantastic service with a particular mention to Luke - really put me at ease, showed me around the cattery and when I picked my cat up, I could tell she had been loved and looked after really well whilst I’d been away. I would absolutely use a cattery again - I travelled from Plymouth to Kit Hill & would likely do that again rather than going local purely based on the service for this stay. My dog Rusty stayed recently for the first time, on arrival the lady at reception came out to greet him and I could see he was immediately at ease with her and happily went off with her. On our return to collect him we spoke to Luke who was already very knowledgeable about our dog so I knew he had been well looked after, he looked well fed and in good condition and was happy. I would certainly recommend Kit Hill Boading Kennels for your dog.

Our dog stayed here for two weeks, the team asked lots of questions and wanted to meet our dog before his stay which was very reassuring. He came back happy and very tired obviously had a good time would certainly recommend

Our dog stayed at kithill castle kennels the first time for 3 weeks at the end of summer. I have to say he was so well cared for, the staff are knowledgeable and kind. When I collected him they told me things about his personality and quirks which proved to me they spent time with him. When we got home ted didn't sulk which confirmed to us he had a good holiday too. Thank you Dawn and your team we will definitely use your services again and recommend others to use this kennel.

Left my two dogs for a week for the first time and found the owner Dawn and her team to be very helpful and friendly. My dogs were clearly well cared for. Would not hesitate to use again and recommend to others.

We booked our 2 dogs in for 8 days, slightly apprehensive after a different experience elsewhere. We opted for kennels this time as felt they may feel better just on their own. The communication with Dawn and the team was brilliant before hand answering any questions I had. Drop off was very simple and quick yet thorough and they went through everything that would happen and listened to any worries/routines we had. On pick up the boys came bounding out wagging tails, healthy looking and not smelly (which had happened at the previous place and my main concern) they had clearly been looked after well, they have come home and not been in a mood with us either! We will definitely use kit hill for all our holidays now and recommend to friends and family. Thank you guys! Winston, Hugo and humans!

Great service, they managed to fit our 2 dogs in at the last minute over Christmas having never used them before, on collecting our dogs they knew everything about them and the dogs came out happy and almost reluctant to leave. The total opposite of first impressions last ! Could do with a sign at the top of the road,and the lane down to the kennels almost requires a 4x4 ! That's the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. The staff are lovely,and truly care about the dogs. Every time I arrive,either to drop our dog off,or pick him up, the staff are exercising and walking dogs so they don't spend all day shut in. Highly recommend this little kennel.

My dog loves the staff and doesn't want to come home! It is obvious that they adore the dogs in their care and I completely trust the staff to look after him. He has boarded there and regularly goes in for day care. Charlotte and Jo are reliable, friendly and completely trustworthy. They pick my dog up from home and drop him back and this service has been invaluable.

We had our dog Jasper (Cairn terrier) there for 4 days. We left him on a Thursday morning and on Sunday morning, around 09.30, I received a call to be told not to worry, but he had a bath because on Saturday he had a few loose stools, so he got a bit dirty. During the call it was stressed to me not to worry, that the call was mainly to inform me about the bath. The same day at around 18.00, I was called from the kennels and told that it might be best if I come and pick him up earlier as he is not feeling very well. Luck has it that we were on our way back home so we were there to pick him up in less than an hour. He scared us. He is a terrier, so very energetic and they gave him to us unable to stand and almost unresponsive. His eyes were opened, but he was not reacting to seeing us and to us calling his name. He had no control of his bladder, and although he was trying to drink water he was throwing it all up. We went straight to the vets and it became very clear that he was severely dehydrated, so much so that it was almost impossible for them to draw blood and when they finally did, his blood was so concentrated that all values were off the charts. He was in acute kidney failure and the doctor, rightly so, asked us why it took us so long to get him there. We had him at the vets for 3 days on fluids, he got better and had medication for another week to help his kidney function and I am told we are quite lucky that after this episode he seems to have no lasting kidney damage. The conclusion of the vets was that he had an enterocolitis (cause undetermined) which caused vomiting and diarrhoea, but the kidney problems likely occurred because he became severely dehydrated. We left our dog at this kennel thinking that he was being watched and cared for by people who know what they're doing. I question their capabilities, because they completely missed or ignored that my dog was throwing up whatever water he was drinking, he had diarrhoea for more than 24 hrs and he transformed from a typical bouncy terrier into a dog that could barely keep his head up. I don't blame them for him getting sick, that happens, but I blame them for ignoring his symptoms and not taking him to the vets sooner. I think they failed miserably in their duties.

Having had dogs most of my adult life I was always hesitant to put my dogs into kennels. However life gets in the way and I had to use a kennel service. What did I ever need to worry about. My dogs were happy enough. They were in the kennels for 3 days and were fine when they returned home. So I will use this service again. Thank you team for taking good care of Jess and Lydia for me.

Whilst staying in Cornwall we needed somewhere for our dog just for the day. Great ladies, Joanne was great with our dog who is quite nervous of new people. This didn't faze Joanne and they became firm friends. We had regular videos and pics of Rowan which put us at ease.

Excellent Staff Pets very well looked after always go above and beyond to help. Would highly recommend to anyone.

This is one of the best Kennels we have taken our two hairy dogs, they are understanding and our dogs dont want to leave after there stay, I would give them 5 star recommend all day long

Carol and Ollie looked after our Cockapoo Mable for 4 nights. She had never been to a kennels or a home boarder before and at 10 we were worried about how she would settle. The home visit to meet Mable put our minds completely at rest. We then went to visit Ollie and she had a chance to wander around the house and garden. I would very much recommend We Love Pets and we will definitely be choosing to bring Mable back for another visit.

FANTASTIC!! Ollie & Carol are amazing, welcoming & friendly. Our labs love coming to stay, both for day care & longer stays. The excitement in their tails says it all when we arrive at their house, making a beeline straight to the toy box . .And not even goodbye to us, charming – our dogs have certainly made themselves at home. Ollie & Carol make the whole process really easy from initial meet & greet, understanding our needs & our dogs, through to booking & payment. And there's plenty of communication whilst they look after our dogs with updates via Whatsapp. There’s no stress, we feel really comfortable leaving our dogs (securely) with them knowing that they will get all the love, attention, plenty of exercise & loads of cuddles (spoilt is an understatement :-) ). Keep up the great work – see you for the next two week stay soon

Carol and Ollie looked after our pooch Pepe and Pepe has congestive heart failure requiring medication multiple times a day. We wanted to ensure that he was with carers who were confident and happy to take on a pet that requires a little extra attention and diligence. Both Carol and Ollie took the time with us and Pepe, with multiple introductions so it wasn’t such a shock for him to be in a new home. (I should also mention he has terrible separation anxiety). We are so lucky to have found We Love Pets Tamar Valley, who took amazing care of Pepe and kept us up to date daily with pictures and updates such as his breathing rates etc. thank you for being not just a wonderful support for Pepe but also for us so we could focus on what we needed to do while we were away

Carol and Ollie have been brilliant with my sprocker, Winston. Whether it’s for walks, day care or last minute pop ins when I am delayed at work, I can’t recommend them highly enough. Winston is always delighted to see them which I think says it all!

Carol and Ollie such beautiful souls, both were entrusted with the care of Nelly our older Labrador and Tally Ho the bonkers lurcher. Throughout we were sent pics whilst at a festival, both settled and taking in the love afforded during their stay. Will look no further the next time we are away, particularly for the old boy who just needs settled time (I thank Paul). Absolutely stunning folk with huge hearts for extended fanimals. 🌱

We were so fortunate to book Carol for the care of our ageing dogs Coco and Lula . They are our babies and have medical needs due to their 14 and 15 years xx Coco needs a lot of medication including eye drops . All very hard for us to administer let alone someone else . CAROL was amazing !!!! She cared for them with love and patience . They seem so well and healthy on our return and more importantly we’re very happy doggies . She sent me regular txt to keep me up to date with their care and wellbeing and I cannot recommend her highly enough . I will never use anyone else again for my holiday dog care . I could actually relax and enjoy my holiday knowing my very old dogs we’re in extremely good hands x

Ollie and Carol are the best. Professional, calm, considerate. Be aware that your dog may rapidly love them more than you, but that's probably a good thing.

Carol and Oli provided the perfect home from home for my cocker Pippin. Lovely setting and loved like their own. They come highly recommended.

They are really well organised and when I collected my Jack Russell he was in no hurry to leave. I was really happy about this that he seemed so at home there. I just called the phone number on the website and they really worked around my needs. I also really appreciated receiving emails whilst on holiday letting me know that Bosco was fine and happy. Left our two spaniels here for a couple of days so we could visit local attractions. Very tired happy dogs when we picked them up. Highly recommended.

My beagle Alfie has stayed with Lorraine and Malcolm a few times over the past couple of years whilst we have been on holiday. Lorraine keeps me updated with photos most days which is so lovely and reasurring that Alf is having the best time! (Mainly being spoilt snoozing on the sofa!) They both are the kindest most lovely people that clearly care so much about the dogs they look after. Alf even came back with a bag of treats to enjoy at home!

We have been taking Mattie, our Jack Russell, to stay with Lorraine & Malcolm for a couple of years now since we discovered them and she absolutely loves it. It is just like home from home for her and she loves nothing better than having a little snooze on the sofa with Malcolm after lunch. We know she will always be totally safe and sound and wonderfully looked after so we can then have a nice break without any worries as to whether she is OK. We would recommend them to everybody who loves their dogs like family. Liz & Doug

Highly Recommended-Our Springer has major anxiety issues & doesn't like strangers or other dogs. After gradually leaving her with Malcome & Lorraine for short periods beforehand, then for a week's holiday, I cannot tell you how delighted I was to learn that she had settled so well and enjoyed herself so much at Doggiemotel. These guys are amazing, they are dedicated to what they do and they obviously love all their doggie guests to bits. Thank you both from us & Scruff ❤️

DoggieMotel is very highly recommended, they look after my dog Ruby on a regular basis and she loves going there. I get updates throughout the day and nothing is too much trouble. Malcolm and Lorraine are an amazing couple who both clearly love dogs.

Sophie is probably the best person ever to take your dogs to. My two have been going to Sophie for daycare since May. It was strange because I couldn't have a look around because of Covid. But I knew she was good because a couple of people in the village said she was brilliant. Anyway, they bloody love it there. Thay are happy and relaxed. Stan thinks he owns the place. Not only the dogs but Sophie was a complete lifeline for me during lockdown. We had many chats over the fence and I would love to call her a friend. Any money spent here is well spent. 100% recommended!!!

A fantastic doggy daycare. Sophie really knows how to look after your dog. It's a 10 min walk from Honicombe Manor so excellent if your staying there and need a day or so without your furry friend. My Finnish Lapphund will let me know if he doesn't like somewhere but didn't dig in and need dragging, which for him is a very positive review.

Shophie is fantastic you couldn't wish for a better person to look after your pet. She goes above and beyond with your pet if there were 10 stars it would be 10/10.

Our golden retriever, Reggie, has just returned from a week’s stay with Sara and her family. Sara has been amazing, she came to meet Reggie and found out about him before his stay and he had a trial stay prior to his holiday. Reggie has had such a great time, we have had regular updates and photos. We would highly recommended Sara, thank you to you and your family for taking such good care of Reggie for us 🙂

Our dogs Mabel and Diego recently stayed with Sara and her family for 10 days. I wanted to find a home from home boarding and I feel I hit the jackpot with Sara. Mabel and Diego loved their stay and were extremely well cared for. Mabel is partially sighted and Sara was amazing at helping her to settle and feel at home. The communication was excellent and I received lots of beautiful photos, videos and updates. Sara and her family went above and beyond and I can’t recommend them highly enough.

After using Pawsome home boarding I would now never use anyone else. Sara was amazing with our dog Maya who stayed with Sara for just under 3 weeks. She had amazing walks and was extremely happy at her home from home. Sara truly cares for the animals and it is so nice to be able to leave her with someone who is so professional and trusted. We had pictures sent to us while we were away of Maya and her holiday adventure which was lovely. Maya came back well looked after washed and looking really happy and healthy. I think she prefers it at Pawsome doggy day care and home boarding than at home 🤣 we better up our game!!! 100% recommended. Thankyou so much

I used Pawsome day care for the first time last week, my two older dachshunds had a great time with Sara, with them being older I was a little nervous leaving them in a new environment but Sara took away all these worries and looked after them so well. She kept in touch with me throughout the day letting me know once they had been collected and dropped back home and sent pictures during the day of them and how relaxed they were with her. Highly recommend Sara and Pawsome.

Sara and her family are lovely and Merlin loves his visits. Sara is happy to accommodate my spasmodic schedule, which is good to know. Very much home from home and so much better than kennels.

The care given to our dog Finley was Brilliant so much so that we have booked 2 more stays with Sarah and family. Sarah gave him lovely walks and cuddles, a perfect home from home and we will be using her in the future.HIGHLY RECOMMEND. from Gareth and Alison Clark.
